Special was an amazing server and was very accommodating to my vegetarian diet. Not very many menu options but she made it work. She is a great example of excellent customer service. Special deserves a raise, promotion, and everything good in life.

So, I ate here at breakfast wanting a burger and was paired up with my server Special. (Yes, that's her name on the tag. I did a double-take but I associate it with her smile, now and realize her name now makes me smile.) I looked and looked for a burger and in the bottom right was my dish with dbl patties and an egg on top. Moved that egg to a separate plate and Bob's your uncle. The Steak-n-Shake steakburger hit the spot. The fries are nearly toothpicks (delicious crunchy toothpicks) and the glass of Tea is HUGE. Even so, finished the first glass and working on the second. If you are HANGRY (so hungry you are angry) (or your significant other) bring them for the special all you can eat pancakes - $5.99 and move from hangry to hungry to satisfied to stuffed. You can reach the restaurant easily. Park in front, go through the front doors and it is on your immediate left. Enjoyed my

A reasonably priced quick meal. Portions were perfect, not humongous like everywhere else. Service was great. I would eat there again.

Came for breakfast with my family on our vacation here in LV, had some very good pancakes, eggs, and bacon! Our server Special was very kind, fast serving, and very helpful!

Tasty cheeseburger and double down fries were great too! Deep fried portobello mushroom burger stuffed with cheese was yummy too! Plus they serve beer at this burger joint!

This restaurant offers great meals at a low price. The entrees run from $6-8. That is a great deal of savings from many other restaurants.

Food is very reasonable here and the service and food was very good. Did not have to wait long for a table.

If you tipsy and hungry asf this to mf spot bruh! I got the jalapeño burger and a shake. The shake comes fast like a virgen so you can enjoy it until the burger comes out. The burger was bussin like an orgy! LOVELY PLACE

Great if you want a simple burger for a meal without breaking the bank. It is actually a quality burger for how inexpensive it is. Service is fast friendly and efficient.

I stayed in the OYO hotel. I ended up stopping in at Steak N Shake for a bite to eat before starting my night. The food was great, and surprisingly low priced. Same goes for their drinks. Kudos to the cook Gary C. I will definitely go back!

He was very attentive to our wants and needs. I really appreciate it after our long day we had. Also Gary was on the spot with the food.

I don't know if it was related to the lack of available help but our group waited far too long to be seated for how empty the place was. We had waited so long we were about ready to leave when they finally said are table was ready. Food was good, our waitress, Debra, was awesome! She even stayed past her shift for us to finish with her being our waitress. Small talk from her made the wait for our food better. An extra dot because of her.

Hector was an awesome waiter and he had great people skills. Very friendly and the service was very quick!

We stayed at the OYO hotel for two weeks, and visited Steak n Shake quite a bit in that time! Their burgers and parmesan fries were sometimes just what the doctor ordered. Gary C. and truly all the staff gave us fast and thoughtful service every time. Worth every penny spent.

Steak and Shake has the best burgers and shakes. PERIOD. Their burgers are juicy seasoned to perfection and delicious The shakes are thick and yummy.

Had breakfast there yesterday morning. Hector our server was awesome. When he brought our food out he felt that my wife’s eggs were undercooked, and took it upon himself to get her new ones. Highly recommend this place.

On our first night in Keecia observed while two of her employees chef Gary and attendant Naveah took care of our needs. We had a long travel day and we were so thankful to get such delicious food with wonderful recommendations. On our last day before leaving town we came to sit in for breakfast! Keecia took time out of her busy work day to check on our family, and ask us about our trip. We were all so grateful to have made a friend and have such a warm and welcomed dining experience. We look forward to returning to see Keecia and have more delicious and joyful food experiences at Steak n’ Shake at the OYO! Thank you Keecia for everything!

I spent two hours dragging my increasingly drunken spouse up the Las Vegas Strip looking for something unknown and undefined to date her intoxicated hunger. She'd never tried Steak n Shake before, but thru each bite, and even after the hangover subsided she swears up and down it was the best burger she's ever had. Plus 5 stars for helping me stable the alcohol-induced stupor of a Vegas birthday evening.

Just arrived in Las Vegas and my son and I were starving so we decided to eat in the restaurant in our hotel. I was expecting an ouch moment when I looked at the menu but was pleasantly surprised at the price. I was even more surprised with the quality of the food and the service. Sometimes you get more than you pay for.

I received breakfast here with my hotel stay, the food was classic diner and the pancakes were delicious! But the service was the best part, we had Special serve us twice during our stay and she is welcoming and very friendly. Having a great server makes the food taste even better :)

My meal was amazing! I loved it! The waiter's were nice, I'm thankful for that! The menu has a variety of food, so that is really good. They have fabulous milkshakes, too! I recommend this place!

This place was definitely better than other Steak and Shakes I’ve been too. The restaurant was very clean and we were attended really fast. The cook Gary C., personally brought out our food and let us know if we had any issues to let them know. But, no complaints here, the food was good and the service was good as well. We will definitely be coming back and recommending friends/family when we come back to Vegas! Thank you all again!

Great service I had Hector as my server and he was funny, nice and very fast with our food and making sure everything was fine.

This place was rated # 1 for burgers. The burger was okay and good value but there are better burgers around although they cost more. The service was horrible, slow and unattentive. I would give this place a pass

The hamburgers at Steak n are fantastic. They're cooked to your liking and their fries as a side are wonderful. You will find the service to be outstanding. You can eat in or take out, just get in line and order at the counter and you are on your way. They also have great lemonade and Shakes. If you are interested in a salad they have really good ones. All in all, you'll find this eaterie to have great service and really super food.

Had a top of the line quality cuisine with fluffy pancakes and biscuits that melted in my mouth, washed down with a quenching soda, continuously refilled by the lovely Special through the morning. 10/10 would come again

We tried this twice before we found it open. Online hours said they were open but we went by at 8:20 pm and they were closed. We called the next day and we’re told they were open. Nope. The food was good, a good value for Vegas, and served quickly, but staffing is making it hard for them to keep consistent hours.

Was pretty busy (as a Sunday night typically is), but the service was still excellent. We had Hector who was hilarious! Made our dining experience one of a kind. Also, the food is fantastic, as per usual.

I went to Steak ‘n Shake not too long ago. It was my first time and the experience was so good thanks to a worker there named Yuliana who literally deserves a raise ! Excellent service was polite and knew exactly how to talk to customers.

Vanilla shake was fantastic. Old fashioned and super thick. I figured that was enough calories so had the chicken salad for lunch. It was adequate but nothing to remember. Our server was called Special (!?) and she was good and attentive.

Meal was fantastic, my waitress Debra was an absolute star! She did a fantastic job and we chatted about the Super Bowl that day!

My husband and I stayed at the Oyo for the weekend and had breakfast at the Steak’n Shake. The food was so good and fairly priced and the service was fantastic! Shout out to our server Special who made our experience truly amazing!

I was with my friends laughing about each other and then suddenly we were given our receipt while still eating. After, few more minutes we stood up and CLEARLY heard the workers saying we were loud and was not even subtle about it. 1) My friends and I sincerely apologize that you guys have a 9-5 job earning minimum wage at age 30. 2)We were not loud whatsoever because we could clearly hear 3 booth tables away from us and the workers across the room with costumers talking as in the background. While they stood by the counter talking crap about their customers and not even working or asking their customer if everything is okay. 3) why is m&m milk shake have vanilla ice cream and not chocolate ice cream?? I figured that an m&m flavor is usually chocolate icecream based (#3 can be totally argued and I completely understandable on both sides, but 1 and 2 is not arguable)

Special was very great! She took time to explain the menus to us, answer all questions, and was very attentive to our order and special requests. Very quick to bring out extra napkins when asked. She was very prompt and professional. Special made this such a great dining experience! Will be coming back!

The Royale double was...well, royal (fried egg is the crown) . Charlene captains the bar with equal parts pretty smile and spark. Attentive, patient and efficient as hell. Gary is responsive and always delivers with a smile. Good dude. Will come back.

Debra was an awesome waitress! We ordered a shake and split a meal for our girls. She made sure to split everything in the back so our kids wouldn’t fight. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back!

Overall, just pretty average. The food was good, not great, not bad...just average. The service was very slow for us on a Saturday at 10 am. There were empty tables but it took 15 minutes to seat us? Also, I was not a fan of the guy dragging around a cart full of dirty dishes to clean off the tables.

Special was our waitress and did a wonderful job at making sure to serve our table. She was patient with two of our people getting to the table late and made a point of taking time with each of us as we ordered.

We arrived at 8pm but it was closed despite Google telling us it was open. Staff told me it closed early because they didn't have enough staff to cope with the orders... ...so we went through next day we got there at 6:45 and was given our food....unfortunately we didn't get the burgers we ordered and much to our servers frustration, the chefs would not cook the correct burgers as they were wanting to close. Once a manager got involved, we eventually did get out burgers but long after we had finished our fries... ....fair play to the manager, we were given a free meal the next day. Good food...shame about the service.

We were staying across the street at the MGM Grand and were trying to find a good breakfast at a reasonable price - refused to pay $9 for a reheated breakfast sandwich. Had seen the Steak 'n Shake when we arrived so headed over. This was the nicest Steak 'n Shake we ever visited. We were lucky that there was no wait although the place was busy. Shaneka, our server, was very attentive and the food was good. Definitely recommend if you're in Vegas and don't want to spend a fortune.

The cook Gary C. made us an amazing meal. Food was delicious. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh.

The steakburger on sourdough was great! The onion rings fantastic! The chocolate peanut butter milkshake was very good! But the service was impeccable! Cyrus and Yuli were incredibly helpful with the menu and suggestions and substitutions. I work at a casino and don’t often expect or receive this level of service from the staff at a burger place - even if it is higher end than your typical fast food burger place! My experience was very enjoyable and the food was only half of the experience! I would happily give both of these two jobs if they were looking! Way to go Steak n Shake!

When I travel outside of the Pacific Northwest, I always find a Steak 'n Shake - its one of my favorite restaurants that we don't have in our area. I was looking forward to a Christmas Eve dining experience at the Las Vegas location and a chocolate malt or the peppermint chocolate chip specialty shake. The dining experience at the Oyo casino location in Las Vegas was the worst ever! First, after I redeemed my free shake on the app, a staff person tells me this location does not accept the coupon - so I just lost the free shake. Then the waiter informs me that no, this location does not add reward points for your order. The service was not great and the food mediocre. The price point was the highest of any Steak 'n Shake I have ever visited. The malt was just awful!! I would never visit this location again. The one at the South Point Casino is soooo much better, but I did not have a car on this trip to go there. Such a disappointment and let down, after being so excited to have a Steak 'n Shake close to my hotel. I was looking forward to eating there multiple times, but after the first experience, did not return.

We were on a tight schedule on Super Bowl Sunday and Special went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience by getting our orders right away. She was very attentive and pleasant. It is so refreshing to receive great customer service. She is an asset to your company. Food was delicious as well. Thanks Special!

Our server was friendly but the food was not as good as other Steak N Shakes. The shake didn’t come in a glass and instead in disposable styrofoam. We had to ask for somethings twice. They were short staffed. My biggest complaint is honestly how badly it smells of smoke. I know it’s Vegas but I had (wrongly) assumed it would be separated or at least have better air filters like some of the other hotels.

Had a great few days getting homestyle breakfast 🍳! Special really made us feel special! She was busy but took the time to make sure we had everything we needed! Great service!

Checked in to the Oyo and had the munchies. Short line at Steak & Shake (looked really long later in the evening). Food arrived promptly, and loved the cheese burger and mink shake.

Ordered 2 burgers, fries and milk shakes - Burgers and fries were served quickly - but both were cold. Shakes took an additional 20 minutes !

We discovered this place after finding breakfast in our hotel to be ridiculously expensive. The shakes are amazing and the food is really good too. I had the birthday cake shake on my birthday together with the cheddar scrambler. The mint oreo and strawnilla shakes are also fab and the portobello swiss burger was so tasty. For two days we had the lovely Debra serve us. She was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Love this place!

Came here with a friend and we both got 7x7 burgers. For 9.99, it’s unbeatable. A little greasy, but overall a good and filling meal. The service was excellent. Our server Special was very quick with drink refills and helpful with any questions we had. She was outstanding.

My dad I had a great breakfast experience here. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Our server, Special treated us like family. The food was tasty and the coffee flowed like a river.

We arrived at 12:00. We were finally seated at 12:15. Order taken at 12:25. Burgers were delivered at 12:44 and our shakes which were the first thing we ordered arrived at 1:00. 45 minutes for a shake. It wasn't even that busy. The only good thing was the prices were reasonable compared to anything else around.

Very slow service, miserable staff. When I eventually got to the front of the queue, the member of staff simply left. No words of explanation. The next till opened up and I had to have my wits about me to get served before others jumped across. They could see what was going on, I could not. Despite the deal being widely advertised outside, I had to ask for the deal as it was not on the menu board! The burger deal was good value for money and of a reasonable standard. Small seating area, can sit "at the counter". Lost three stars because of staff and wait time. They have a lot to learn!

I usually complain about the service I get when visiting Las Vegas, but this evening, I’ve received the best service ever by my server Herman! He was so awesome! Not only did he give exceptional customer service, he made sure everything was absolutely perfect! The service I received was amazing, and I’ll be coming back tomorrow! He deserves a pay raise...it’s very rare to get the professional, attentive services he provided this evening. If you’re in town, and want great service, Herman is your guy! Be sure to tip him well, he deserves it!

I came here sunday morning. I had Debra as my server. She was great. Very friendly and on top of things. She help me get my frisco melt during breakfast hours. She was fantastic. Food was great as well. Definitely check this location out!

We were there because we were f*cking hungry and Hooters was taking a long time to place the guest in the seats. But it was terrible, just the food was bellow average and the place didn't look very clean... Wont come back

Went to breakfast at the Steak 'n Shake a couple weeks ago for breakfast. Overall, just standard breakfast fare. We are familiar with the Steak 'n Shake chain, as we have been to other locations in the U.S. This one was well decorated, staff was pretty friendly overall, prices a bit higher than in other locations...that's pretty typical on or near the Vegas strip. Conveniently located right across the street from the MGM main entrance.

Came down for breakfast early our first morning here. Debra greeted us with a warm smile and brought coffee right away. Food was good, a little greasy, but to be expected from a diner. Debra was attentive without hovering, was kind and friendly, and made our first Vegas breakfast a pleasant one.

Everybody has been fantastic, Special really stood out in our most resent visit. Great time! This really has made our time here really great!

What happened to the meat??? Pathetic. If you can taste the tiny piece of meat on this burger you would be a lot luckier than us. Meat fried to a crispy, thin ??? layer of ??? Onion rings were kinda soggy not crispy. Milkshake was good! We went to a Steak n Shake a few years ago in the South it was excellent! Ordered same food, different shake flavor, that is why we ate here. Can't believe same chain. Save your time and $$$ don't eat here.

Tired of fancy expensive dinners on the Strip after 4 days in Vegas. It is wonderful to finally eat plain and simple food. It’s tough for casinos off the strip to make a living. Gary C. and team are very friendly, attentive, and personable servers. I really like that crew members have names here.

Two large regular coffees were $8.56 and it’s nothing fancy. Just regular old coffee in a styrofoam cup. But hey, they have $5.99 pancakes specials!!

Three occupied tables. Took 10 minutes to waiter to approach to our table. Ordered burgers, sodas and 1 shake... after long long time we received the food and they literally forgot to bring the shake, no apologies, no excuses, no compensation...

Food was prompt and tasty, but our waitress Debra made our day. She was scheduled to leave 30 minutes before we arrived & stayed to take care of us. She has a friendly smile and a bubbly personality. Thank you DEBRA!!!

I have eaten and steak and shake a couple of times now and the service has always been great. Special the server at steak and shake truly makes this restaurant great. It’s servers like Her and the many others at this restaurant who makes this restaurant shine.

Shake Shake is consistently good no matter which one we eat at. I love the Shack Burger! The fried mushroom is a must have!

The 7x7 burger was outrageous! I almost finished it. Food was great, and my server (Special) was awesome!

Evening12/27 dine-in.No noticie “Wait here to be seated”, only a tiresome inexpresive girl who wrote down my name and pointed to a crowded bench. As other customers who came later,were being served first and the waitress wasn’t there,I asked another employee for help.She wrongly took our order to take out.After 10 minutes, we were given the bags,She discussed, said I didn’t mention about dining in.We sat at an empty table with no cutlery, dishes whatsoever.Before leaving,the unefficient lady told us to tip for the service.What service??

A colleague and I stopped here for a hamburger. The sandwich is really great. Despite being a fast food restaurant the quality is high. Too bad McDonald's-type chips are a fall in style.

My wife and I were staying at the OYO --- the old Hooters hotel --- when we saw a sign for $5.99 All You Can Eat Pancakes. In the essence of full disclosure, we both can't stand their burgers and regular food, but decided to give it a try. Breakfast was a completely different experience. Their were numerous other options available besides pancakes. My wife got the Homestyle Breakfast (eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, and pancakes) and I got their Skillet Scramble (eggs, cheese, hash browns, sausage, and biscuit with sausage gravy). Both meals were filling and cooked perfectly albeit the bacon that my wife requested to be extra crispy was still a bit chewy. The service was exceptional.

Best service I have received, she made sure we were good throughout our whole visit I appreciate her and I am happy to have her as a waitress

After several days in Vegas, we were looking for something less expensive than the normal breakfast on the strip. We decided Steak and Shake was the answer. Our sever Debra was very sweet and quick with our order - attentive to our needs with a smile! She was a delight to have and even ensured we thought about coffee to go before we left.

My wife and I went together and were served immediately. The food was absolutely incredible. Will return

We were there approximately end of the last year then we go there for their famous shake. we took our shake from there. it was really yummy. highly recommend this to all of you.

Gary C. At the Las Vegas restaurant at Oyo made sure my fries were fresh...I didn't want to complain but he asked how was the food.

My server Special was more than special she was Amazing! Ask for Special when you go to Steak and Shake. She was what made my experience great because the food was just okay. Prices are very fair and you get what you pay for if. I will be back to see my new favorite server Special, thanks again !

We (party of 2) stayed at the OYO Hotel Feb 13 and 14, 2020. I received a breakfast voucher from the hotel for Steak and Shake. We were offered a 10 minute wait for a table (the dining room was only about 25% occupied), or we could seat ourselves at the counter right away. We sat at the (filthy) bar/counter, ordered a set breakfast from the menu and coffee. Coffee was served in unbelievably dirty cups (couldn't drink from them), so I pointed out that the cups were dirty and asked for replacements. The young lady at the counter quickly apologized, pulled our cups, then started digging through a plastic tub that contained an assortment of cups and various glassware (they all looked to be dirty). She pulled 2 cups then used the fountain nozzle (that dispenses sodas, water etc) wet the cups with water then wiped them somewhat dry with a bar napkin! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! During this evolution, there were two other ladies that looked to be managers or some sort of supervisors that were picking through the tub of glassware and inquiring what one of the glasses was used for. They didn't seem to have any concern for the fact that the place was filthy. When meals arrived, hashbrowns were flat and bone dry, bacon was sour. I got up, left a tip (why?), and left without eating or comment. I thought I would hurl if I stayed any longer. I cannot recall EVER giving any establishment less than 4 stars in the past. This place got 1 star only because I wasn't able to award less. The only good news is that I did not suffer any health issues as a result of my visit.
