We have been enjoying Stickers since 1998!!

By Suzanne K |

We have been enjoying Stickers since they opened in 1998! We love their diverse Pan Asian menu! We recently ordered takeout during the most recent pandemic shut down and devoured our delicious food so quickly that I did not have time to take pictures of our meal. The woman that took our order over the phone was absolutely delightful and incredibly friendly and engaging. We started with pork Potstickers and Jiaozi. They were both perfectly done! The rest of our order consisted of shrimp Pad Thai, Hong Kong fried rice and Sichuan wok-fried noodles. These did not disappoint!! Each dish was well balanced in flavors and cooked to perfection. The Sichuan noodles definitely had a kick to them. We love spicy so spicier the better! One of my other favorite dishes from Stickers is their garlic spinach. Their pandemic menu is definitely smaller than when they are open for full business. I look forward to that day! We love Stickers and want to support them and do what we can to help them survive the pandemic! They make ordering their delicious food simple and delightful. Support local restaurants!!

Quality food at fair prices

Always a good option for Asian fusion food. Great potstickers with a little heat but not to hot. Casual relaxed atmosphere. Good portions for reasonable prices.

Good food and service

We ate dinner here and greatly enjoyed the meal. The service was really friendly and helpful. There is a large menu with many choices (Japanese, Thai, Indian). The street satay sampler was excellent and more than I could eat! Wonderful leftovers in store. Prices are quite reasonable. This would be a good choice before or after a film at the Moreland Theater.

Bold, bright flavors

We have frequented this restaurant dozens of times in the past 12 years or more and have always left happy we visited. Their Asian inspired dishes are always fresh and flavorful and served in portions large enough to share. Standouts include their soups which are heady with ginger and delicate broth and potstickers that are incredibly flavorful and well prepared. Noodle dishes are inspired by different Asian cultures including curries, street noodles and Thai rice noodles. Prices are reasonable especially considering the quality. They offer lunch and happy hour specials too. Stickers is a great place for a casual dinn with friends or family. There is something for everyone.

Wonderful food & friendly fast service.

I don't normally like hotter foods, it was not at all hot as I thought it would be. Beef stickers, shrimp, chicken all was perfect. Service was fast with a nice smile. Very attentive & friendly We would definitely eat here again.

This small joint in Sellwood provides great choices from many Asian cuisines. It's location is great and there usually is no problem parking on side streets. Their hot oil dumplings are the best, we had to get an extra order. Their daily specials are always interesting and their drinks are tasty. Some issues with cleanliness, but that may have been on that particular day. If you are in the area stop in to check out their dumplings during Happy Hour, they have great deals.

Some months ago I was so sad to hear that Stickers was closed due to a kitchen fire. Last week I found out they had reopened. Better than ever. All my favorites were better than ever. All their ingredients are fresh and delicious. I love their fusion and look forward to my next visit. I have too many favorites to list them. Everything is good. So, so glad they were able to reopen and restore most of their décor from all the smoke damage. Great service as always. You will be sorry if you do not check them out.

Delicious Asian food

By Barbara N |

Stopped today for a late lunch. Server was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and tasty. The Vietnamese lettuce wraps were the best I have ever tasted. Chinese Soup Noodles were wonderful, with a tasty broth with just a touch of ginger. My husband had Sichuan Chow Mein which was a little spicy for me but had excellent flavor. The toasted coconut ice cream was amazing. We have eaten here in the past for dinner also and enjoyed the satay sampler, won ton soup and scallion pancakes. The portion sizes are good and the yummy sauces complement the dishes. I enjoy the variety of unusual dishes available and look forward to trying new items on a future visit..

Gem of Westmoreland

This is a great little asian restaurant with quick service and wonderful street food. Definitely try the pot stickers in hot oil, a must. The atmosphere is good, the outdoor seating in the summer is great for people watching. The food is wonderful.

Delicious and satisfying fushion of food from the east

By Renee Daphne K |

I've always had trouble describing the fare at Stickers as it's a very Asian-eclectic menu borrowing items from a lot of different southeast Asian countried. However I always end by saying "trust me you will love everything there". Their Thai salad is one of our absolute musts on every visit - great dressing and it's cabbage, not lettuce so much more filling and tasty. Their halibut in coconut sauce is beyond scrumptious and try as we may, can never seem to replace it with "something else" on the menu. The pot sticker sampler is a great 3 way share if you've brought a friend. They also use a top quality rice which is much appreciated by us. The Papadams are magnificent! We go there regularly and always leave full, satisfied and satiated.

Incredible

It too my husband and I living in Sellwood for about a week to discover this little gem, and now we can't get enough! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the potstickers are over the top. It's a nice place to eat in, but space is limited, so we often order take out- never leave disappointed!

Eclectic Asian for the American Palate

By Eugene F |

This small neighborhood cafe had a surprising mix of foods on its menu. Having traveled to many Asian countries, I was hoping to find something exotic, but I didn't see it. In fact, though the food varied from Korean to Thai, it was all very Americanized. The service was okay, just one young woman who knew what the names were but didn't necessarily know the food itself. The restaurant was simple with some faux Asian art on the walls. The booth table that my wife and I sat in was fixed and so the table couldn't be moved away from the bench seat (no big deal). I had a mixed satay with four different items and dipping sauces. My wife had a dozen pot stickers. Nothing to rave at, though the portions were good. It was $30 with tip by the time we left. With so much else to choose from, we probably won't return.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the Northwest

By Ian S |

I am a Thai food fanatic and this is one of my top 3 favorite Thai restaurants anywhere. Their Pad Thai is hands-down the best I have had, and I've traveled around Southeast Asia and been to nearly every Thai restaurant in the Portland area. This place is deep in Sellwood and it's actually quite a drive for me and my co-workers, but we go there regularly because it is well worth it. Highly recommend starting with the pot stickers. Service is great and the food comes fast.

Multiple Asian cuisines

By mkt_travel |

The menu here has dishes from a number of different cuisines: Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and maybe more. As with a lot of Asian restaurants in Portland, they give you a small dish of what I believe is pickled daikon radish as an appetizer. I generally don't like daikon but in Portland they include sugar or some sort of sweetener so it actually tastes pretty good. The restaurant is near a busy intersection in the Sellwood/Westmoreland neighborhood so you might have to park a couple of blocks away, but it's a neighborhood that a lot of people like to frequent with a lot of restaurants and some small stores. The food is good and so is the service, so this is a pleasant place to go.

Good little Asian restaurant

Tried this little place out tonight. Potstickers were tasty and the bulkoki was too. My husband had the a chicken noodle dish which was too spicy for me but he enjoyed it. Service and as fast and efficient. Overall a good choice.

Very Tasty Meal

By Mary K |

We were looking for a restaurant within walking distance of our accommodations in the Sellwood area of Portland. The landlord had a binder with menus and we felt like having something other than bar food. We weren't sure of the restaurant location, so we phoned and the restaurant personnel went out of their way to give us good directions. The food was unusually good--we had a satay sampler with associated sauces and a Thai style coconut curry. For desert we shared hand made toasted coconut ice cream and fried bananas. I was glad it wasn't too sweet. I also had a great local IPA. We appreciated the low key decor and quiet ambiance. I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. We didn't notice any cleanliness issues mentioned by another reviewer. Service was good.

Fusion in Sellwood

Great vegetable dumplings, fast and flavorful and then we balance it with a tasty thai vegetarian salad. Seems healthy and its fast and never usually a line after 7:30pm. Small public lot across the street.

Just there last night..delish!

By kaemicha |

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. I haven't been to all Thai restaurants, here, but this is my go to place. I love the peanut sauce and always ask for extra. I usually get the chicken satay and So Good! Even the little salad and nuts they serve before the meal, is great. Really. I even drink the dressing on the salad! The Moreland area, where this is located, has become popular, but I still get excellent service and enough food to have for lunch today. But, the kicker is the coconut ice cream with glazed bananas (deep fried?). I had to refrain, last night but next time I'll eat less food to accommodate for that decadent desert.

Great for a quick, delicious lunch

By Oceantoes |

We really enjoy eating here for a quick lunch when we're in Sellwood, this was our second time. Everything we've had was wonderful, the appetizer sampler, pot stickers in hot oil, lunch special, the peanut sauce is YUM! Someone nearby had the Tandoori chicken which looked phenomenal!I There are a few lunch specials with a combination of three things and sauces. I had a Thai salad with yummy dressing, 2 sticks of chicken sate with peanut sauce and a large scoop of rice. There aren't a lot of straight up vegetable stir fry type dishes to choose from but there are other tempting dishes to make up for it. Portions aren't huge, but enough. We always order an appetizer of pot stickers to go with the meal and leave full. Service is friendly, attentive and fast. Atmosphere is funky hole in the wall, clean and comfortable with mostly booths, a long table looking out the window into the street and a few small tables. The neighborhood has lots of little shops to walk around and browse in, street parking. Prices are average, about $8 for a mid-week lunch special.

Tasty!

Stickers is a great Portland experience for the young and those who love to eat cheap. I love potstickers and had a delicious plate of a dozen oil-fried pork dumplings. My friend had boiled chicken dumplings, which definitely weren't as good, but still tasty. I wish the side-dishes were more interesting. A ginger-vinaigrette salad would have gone really well with the stickers. This is a good bet!

Great Food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Dumplings, Asian fusion/street food in Sellwood

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. We tried a couple of different kinds of dumplings, soup, and vegetarian dishes. Dining room is small but attractive, and food was decent with reasonable prices.

Very Delicious Food at a Great Price

By sugarlemontee |

I stopped by Stickers Asian Cafe for lunch in October 2009 while antique shopping nearby. The chalkboard menu standing outside, with the al fresco tables drew me into the cute restaurant. Inside was about 6 booths and 3 tables. It was quiet, and relaxing with the asian music playing and interesting decor. Nice daylight comes in through the glass front windows with a view of the activity along the shopping district. I asked for the lunch special that was listed on the chalkboard outside. It was a Thai Chicken Bowl type of dish - LOTS of great flavors and textures. Served over rice. Came with a drink included in the $4.95 price! I asked for ice tea and was served a refreshing green tea. Wow. This place was GREAT. You will not be disappointed. Wish Pittsburgh wasn't so far from Portland. . . . sigh.

Fresh and tasty food at great prices.

We found Stickers thanks to Tripadvisor. I had the garlic spinach with shrimp, my husband had kung pao chicken, and my son had potstickers. Evrything was delicious and served quickly. We were so pleased we made this choice.

A Nice Find in Sellwood

By Dennis G |

We purchased a Groupon and tried Stickers yesterday for lunch. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. My wife had the Panang shrimp satay, and I had the Panang chicken satay, which were both on the daily lunch specials at $7.95. We shared a plate of six pork potstickers. Both satays came with an amazing peanut sauce and a unique, wonderful shredded green salad with a very tasty house dressing. Both Satays were grilled to perfection and perfect with the peanut sauce. The potstickers were among the best I've had. Their menu features a very eclectic mix of pan-Asian selections with Chinese, Thai, Indian and other influences. The restaurant is small and very tastefully decorated, and their prices seem to be an excellent value.

Worth a try - we had a fun family lunch

I live in Southeast Asia and I used to live near this neighborhood many years ago. We were a large group traveling in 2 cars. My sister placed the order, we needed something to hold us over to dinner and this place definitely was the answer. We tried a variety of pot stickers, satay chicken, etc. My excitement was for a cold Tiger beer imported from Singapore. Not the finest version of Asian dining but it was fun, efficient, and affordable in a great little neighborhood setting.
