Nice place for a casual korean meal - get the soup dumplings

By ryanprint |

Nice place for a casual korean meal. Good place to split a bunch of different plates with friends or a group. Service is speedy as they bring the dishes out to you as they are ready. Good place for soup dumplings.

Very good and prices were average for Seattle

The food was very good and the prices were average for Seattle. If you have a large group call ahead, seating is not set up for large groups. Eat early if you do not like crowds, this place gets very busy. They brought a large selection of Korean side dishes to the table, more than we could eat.

Great true Korean food

We had four different dishes, all delicious. The sea food pancake was sorpraisingly good. The pork Bi-Bim-Bap pot was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended

Helpful service, Korean menu (Japanese-Korean fusion on some items)

By Renee002 |

Our waiter helped us order Korean drinks to try. I was deceived by the Japanese name on a dish I ordered (a donburi type bowl) but the noodles and seafood were good, but the broth was Korean style spicy! My husband's meat based dish and rice were great. Over all, a nice meal and consult with the waiter about how spicy the dishes are! The varied group of diners show this a neighborhood favorite which also does a good take out business (hint-Korean fried chicken!)

Great Food and Excellent Customer Service

We had a wonderful dinner there. Our Service Expert (Waiter) Joon is better than excellent. He is very attentive to what we like etc. The Seafood Pancake is lovely cooked. The tidbits especially Kimchi very tasty. If we go back to Seattle again we will visit the restaurant again and hope Joon will still be there. He should be promoted.

Best Korean place in Seattle

Excellent Korean place. The food is superb. Notably they serve a veggie pancake which is one of the best I had ever tastes. The bibimpap are tasty and sizzling. The service is swift and efficient. Finally I loved the choice of diverse Korean beers.

Fantastic Korean food with lovely service

Outstanding Korean in Westlake. The food was delicious, well presented and served really quickly. I couldn’t decide between the Bulgogi and the Hot Pot and hey presto! They had a combo of both - match made in heaven. The staff were really sweet too. I demolished it and left feeling very successful. Thank you team Stone!

Hip and authentic Korean in South Lake Union

By Steven T |

There’s no need to drive to Federal Way or Edmonds for your Korean fix anymore. Just head to Stone Korean located on Dexter at the northern border of the South Lake Union neighborhood. Stone Korean serves up all of your favorite Korean dishes including soups, stews, Korean barbecue and arguably their number one specialty - Korean fried chicken. Prices are a few dollars more than what you’ll pay in the Korean suburbs but for people who live in the city like me it’s well worth it considering the time and gas money you’ll save in return. You get six banchan at Stone Korean, about half of what you get in most Korean restaurants. However, the quality of their banchan is top notch. If you want to eat their popular fried chicken, come for lunch or an early dinner because they often sell out midway through their dinner service.

Impressive and satisfying

We had to wait to be seated that was a bit unpredictable (there is only a sign up list and no communication from a hostess). The ambience is just a notch above a fast food restaurant. Yet the wait was worth it: the food is plentiful and very tasty, with nice variety of textures and tastes. The service is friendly and quick. Overall a great meal, especially recommended if you are really hungry and are not afraid of eating accordingly.
