As the only Vegetarian, there were so many options for me AND the the entire table of 5. It's great not feeling like the "special diet" friend. It was all so delicious, especially the Grilled Hummus!! A must have! The tented patio was so warm and pet friendly! It was full of friendly people and dogs.

Got here 5 min before opening time and sadly my experience differed from what others had here. The woman at the bar gave me a filthy look when I walked in and backed it up with a surly expression when she said..."we open in 7 minutes". Amnesia was a good spot. Too many good choices in PDX for surly service (if the beer is that good package it or adjust the attitude). I went down the road and got great service backed up with great beer.

This was once Amnesia Brewing. The set-up is the same: large patio with picnic tables; inside a row of tables with a small bar area. The brewery is in the back. The atmosphere is laid-back and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. In fact, I enjoyed their Cloud Hopper IPA, Opacus Oatmeal Stout, a sweet schwarzbier and s a few more. I took home a bomber as well. It is in a nice neighborhood a short ride from downtown. If you wish to take the bus, No.4 will take you from downtown to the front door. Another Beervana gem!

Walking Mississippi street, we happened on this inviting patio. Our large party was well attended to and enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. The whiskey and beer combo was a good entree. The pulled pork patty melt was the best dish.

We were visiting the Mississippi St area and decided to stop in for a beer. We shared a flight and enjoyed all the beers we selected.

Went for the brestillery festival for $20 we got 10 big tastings and a free glass. With all that alcohol we ate in the restaurant and they have really reasonable prices and amazing food, not your typical bar foodat all. Only downfall was parking, sooooo hard to find but so worth it!

This brewery is good all around. The beer is delicious, solid food options, and a fun atmosphere. My husband and I both had the red ale, and it was delicious! My husband also had the stout, which he described as like a milkshake--very thick and chocolatey. We ate the Jucy Lucy and the lamb meatball sub. We both enjoyed our food; however, take note that the sandwiches come with potato chips not french fries. My burger was tender and well seasoned. I only have a few criticisms--our waitress was not very attentive and the bathroom could have been cleaner. I suspect they are a bit understaffed.

Went in for a snack and ended up trying several great items. They brew some great beer and have great service. Cool outside area and gas firepit.

Opacus Stout is awesome, pair it with the small batch whiskey and you have hit the jackpot Nice friendly brewery, had a sandwitch and went off very happy

Awesome place for a beer. Some really nice hoppy IPA's. Try a burger or one of the beer whiskey pairings. Definitely will go back to try some of their other brews.

Inside and outside seating with picnic tables. Dog friendly - the waitresses bring water dishes to the dogs in the outside seating area. Lots of great beers to choose from and the staff is very knowledgeable and can recommend a beer that suits your taste. Didn't try the food but it looked good and the menu had some interesting choices.

We enjoyed trying some new beers around the fire, thanks for the unique opportunity! Several interesting types to try.

Met adult children here for late Sunday afternoon dinner. In all fairness, it was a beautiful day after a week of gloomy so everyone was out enjoying the weather. It took twenty minutes till we were approached to order. Then it took another hour before food arrived. They were all out of the special of the day so some of us had to change our order. I had lamb meatball sandwich. Good taste and good bread just difficult to wrap ones mouth around the bread to eat and a bit dry. Getting the check took us awhile longer too and by then the crowd had died down. We might think twice next time we eat down on Mississippi St.

We stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner after attending the Oregon Brewer's Festival. I had a flight of beers and they were as a whole pretty average. My open faced brisket sandwich was a little fatty but was well prepared. There didn't seem to be any AC so it was pretty warm inside.

We visited StormBreaker to check out the Oktoberfest party. The place was jumping with live polka music. We sat at the bar and did a lot of people watching, and watched the bar staff pour beers and mix drinks. They were awesome and very friendly. We shared a sampler of five German beers and shared an order of the German potato salad. It was all very good.

Nice patio with picnic tables. Good scene and it was trivia night. Beers were very full and tasty and it's just bar food. For a walk break in the sun, it's perfect.

We were saying nearby at at B&B where this spot was recommended...and it did not fail. The service was friendly and prompt. The menu did not offer much for vegetarians but the mac and cheese was a tasty compromise. The beer list was lengthy although not too much in the brown or English Ale category. The atmosphere was just raucous enough with all ages present and a good mix of locals and tourists.

We came here to have lunch before a flight. The food and drinks are great. I loved the Bloody Mary & my fiancé was a huge fan of their amber beer. I enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of tomato soup. They also have a big projector screen in the bar area, perfect to watch sports. The outdoor dining is nice as well. Will definitely be back

The whole table just had to order the Juicy Lucy, a fontina stuffed, delectable patty on a very tasty bun. Needless to say, it was a hit. Great outdoor seating. Fast and friendly service.

We probably would not have discovered the Mississippi Ave. neighborhood in north Portland, or this restaurant for that matter, if we hadn't been visiting our son, who had recently moved to Portland. We learned that is one of those Portland neighborhoods that has transformed into a trendy and lively hub in a relatively short time. We stopped at the StormBreaker Brewing pub after walking several blocks along Mississippi Avenue and nearby streets on a warm Sunday afternoon in July. We chose this place in part because of its good-size outdoor shaded dining area with picnic tables and, of course its craft beers. I enjoy dark beer but didn't care too much for the Opacus Stout that I ordered. But husband and son ordered the ReKolsh and Rye Red and these were good. We decided to have an early dinner here and ordered the flank steak ($12.00), chicken jerk wrap ($9.00) and Mississippi Monster ($10.00). Everything was tasty, satisfying and reasonably priced. This brewery/pub and the Mississippi Avenue neighborhood overall are vibrant, fun places to visit and enjoy a good beer on a warm afternoon or evening.

We stopped here for a burger. The Juicy Lucy did not disappoint. Especially the bacon onion jam on top. Amazing. I should have skipped the marble potatoes however which tasted like just boiled potatoes and not much else.

Arrived during the Mississippi Street Fair so the place was slammed! Found a spot on the patio near the misters (it was hot). Tried the taster tray and found 4 out of 7 really tasty. Best is the Cloud Ripper IPA! Food looked and smelled delicious - sadly we didn't have time to eat. Service was really great considering how packed the place was. We will go back when we have time to eat too!

Enjoyed the people and the brews. So many one can visit I enjoyed this one. Inside and outside seating.

We had some great tasting sessions and came to the conclusion that the Belgium related beer was for our flavor the best. Good service and good explanation about the flavors. Good vibes

Great bar with great drinks! Have an outdoor area with awnings so you can still enjoy the outdoors even with rain outside. Has great skew too of beers and for the whiskey lovers has pairings of beers and whiskey together!

We sat at an outside picnic table and enjoyed the casual vibe on a warm night. The flight of beers is a great way to enjoy several varieties. And the pickles were excellent!

With the current pandemic this place seems almost normal. Great outside covered sitting and lots of heaters and fireplaces. They have a great selection of beers and good menu that is reasonably priced. Service was stellar again.

My friend and I were wandering around the Re-Build Center looking for some project materials and when we left we were starving. We knew a new pub had moved into the old Amnesia space so we went to check it out. I am so glad we did! I got the sausage platter with the potatoes and she got the special that day. I had a Ginberee and she got the Black Ghost whiskey and beer pairing. This place was chill, laid back, and had a fire out front. I will definitely be back. Some of the best food, cocktails, and service I have had in a long time.

Pineapple mango cider because I'm not really a beer person, but I will have ciders. They have food, but I just came for drinks. I enjoyed my short visit here.

Greasy food. Stuffed burger - waitress forget to tell us it would explode upon eating. The cheese Has stained my clothes even after 2 washes cannot get the grease out. Beer ok, nothing great.

Fantastic brewery/bar with a great range of local beers and small batch spirits. Super friendly and knowledgable staff unlike many bars in the area. The burger was great as well. Try the whiskey & beer combos. Highly recommended.

Great beer, great food & dog friendly. The food here is more original than typical pub food — very yummy. Dogs are allowed in the plentiful (mostly covered) outdoor seating. They also have a decent whiskey list.

Stopped here at the end of our evening for a cocktail. Fun atmosphere with dark lighting and candles inside. Insulated area outside with a fire pit which also looked neat. Friendly and attentive staff. Would come back and try the food and more cocktails.

Visited on a beautiful summer afternoon. Was not a busy time so there was plenty of outdoor seating, most of which was shaded by trellis or canopy…very comfortable. We just had time for 1 beer. I enjoyed one of their IPA’s, my wife one of their “lightest non-hoppy’s”. No complaints with either. The atmosphere was casual, almost old worn out saloon/70’s college bar, not an industrial warehouse beer factory which was a nice change of pace actually.

Shared plate...pulled pork quesadilla was ok... beer nice and cold...service minimal...they need to review their music play list

Popped in for lunch while in town. With many breweries in Portland, this one wouldn't be in my list of top places to visit. But, this is what I would categorize as an above average neighborhood brewpub. The food was average. Nothing stellar, but not bad either. The beers were pretty decent. But, they have to be for a place to make it in this town. The service was fine, but nothing great. Overall, this is a great place to stop if you are in the neighborhood. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here though.

We grabbed a beer at the bar and ordered some nachos around 1-2 in the afternoon. Nearly an hour later, dry beer glasses, and twice filling waters on our own - the nachos still had not arrived. We were seated outside on the sidewalk. I went inside to inquire about the order several times and was informed (each time) that it would be "about 10min". I also noticed that not only were there new people that had been seated indoors during this waiting period, they actually had ordered AND received food.... Additionally one server was incredibly rude and accompanied an inquiry with an eyeroll and "well, we do only have two cooks". It was clear that the staff was stretched to their limit and just as frustrated but thats never a great excuse to be rude to customers. I was really disappointed and although in the end the manager at the bar was apologetic, we left without our food........ we still don't know how long we would have waited.

The ciders are served in a can. The beers were cold and tasty, especially the Safety Meeting IPA.The onion rings were... onion rings.Due to COVID the place was sparsely populated. That makes me wonder why it was so hard to get the servers attention.

Had a few beers here which I enjoyed and then decided to order food. I had wings which were excellent. My other half had fish cakes which she also enjoyed. Overall a pleasant first night in Portland.

Now here you have a cozy, wooden pub that gets a little crowded in the winter months. Charming in a rustic way, I need to make an effort to visit during the warm months because the impression is that this is a cold-weather spot. The name doesn't help either. How are they? Good enough. Maybe even a little better than that. But I've been all of once, so providing a thorough review will take some time. No home runs were hit, but no strikeouts occurred either. On a Saturday night with NFL playoffs going, it was exactly what I needed. A solid local spot that is obviously popular in the neighborhood, but welcoming to vagabonds like myself. They suffer from the same affliction as their nearby rival, Ecliptic, and that is: parking.

Great beer and atmosphere. Open deck with fire pit and dog friendly! Food is good too. Every visit to Portland should have a stop on Mississippi and storm brewing.

We stopped in here for drinks in the afternoon on a weekday. The IPA and pumpkin beers were both great. Bartender was helpful in making decisions.

Beautiful location, simple interior yet charming. Also a barman who was presumably having a bad day! Don't waste your energy or money by supporting this bar. Originally headed to Proost also on Mississippi but thought to try the local(er) scene for a football- soccer match. Was immediately unwelcomed. Pity. Plus my team lost!

Very good craft ale and burgers, etc. We ate inside, but they also have a large covered outside area. Reasonably priced along the interesting Mississippi Street.

Decent new addition to the area (less than a year old), could use some minor improvements. (Had to use "good, but..." too often). Inside the music was a bit loud for conversation, and the light way too bright. Sat outside in a screened off area with overhead heating, quite comfortable on a cold night. Service was good after an initial delay, and they happily brought quite a few samples through the evening. Their standard IPA is good, but a bit heavy on CO2. The brat is good, but skip the accompanying pretzel roll. The sauerkraut was very tasty but more like coleslaw than sauerkraut. Chilli was also tasty but closer to soup than chilli.

After trying several restaurants on Mississippi we decided we just wanted a good burger and a drink. The weather was rainy and cold outside, but inside the brewery the waiters couldn't have been nicer, and more helpful. Details: Broccoli and pork belly salad-tasty Turkey Sandwich-above average Burgers-extremely good (as decided by those who had 3 burgers in 2 days) Grilled Jerk Chicken-good, but a bit spicy, pineapple "salsa" actually was literally just hunks of pineapple. Would not reorder. Great beer list-wines were ample for us non beer drinkers-prices were good, especially compared to what we have in Seattle! All in all, an experience definitely worth repeating.

we wanted to try stormbreaker after portland sunday parkways. i had a total rekolsch, and our group had right as rain pale, cloudripper, and sopaque as stout, paired with a whiskey. i had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, my partner had the Arugula, Pear, Spiced Beet with Boucheron and Almond and Seed Brittle, White Balsamic Dressing salad, and our friends split a jerkburger. everything was delicious and the server was friendly and efficient. just wish a regular salad mix was offered with kale and arugula, plus a veggie burger option. they said they are working on that one.

Great outdoor, dog-friendly seating! Had a couple of their own beers here before going to dinner somewhere else. Can't attest to the taste of their food, but it looked and smelled good. Beer was great!

This is my absolute favorite bar to go to in Portland. The atmosphere is wonderful! Between the large our area that you can enjoy all year round (heaters and fire pits in the winter) and the food and drink offerings, you can’t really go wrong! Since there’s a large outdoor area, it never gets too loud and you can always enjoy your friends and conversation!

This place is well above average. The beer selection is good and the food is great. There isn't a ton of seating inside, but there is a large outdoor patio that has a nice covered portion. I would definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

We stopped in for lunch on a busy weekend. We were able to be seated right away we chose to dine inside but it's open air to the outside. There's a large covered area outside as well to allow for groups and additional seating. The service was excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable. My husband did a beer and shot pairing and I tried their mississippi red ale. Both were great. My husband had their jerk chicken wrap and I had their mac n cheese. The jerk chicken wrap was very unique and so delicious, boasting both sweet and spicey flavors. Their mac n cheese had ground beef, black beans, tomatoes and three different cheeses. It was by far my favorite mac n cheese I've ever had. The portions were very generous. Outside, they have a water station with dog bowls on the ground, so you can bring your dog if you eat outside. I thought that was a nice touch.

First, there's the beer - it's delicious - some of the best in PDX. Price - reasonable, $4.50 or $5/pint. Their 22s aren't cheap but they're amazing - the Triple Double is a must-drink for IPA lovers. Housemade chips - Wow! Cheese Board - interesting and delish. They always have great soup and interesting Mac & Cheese - very fun. Inside is nice and there's a tent-ish area outside for when the weather's nice. Hey, it happens!

Having spent a few great days on the Oregon Coast, we headed inland, to the slightly left-field city of Portland. For the weekend, our guide was the sister of my partner’s step-dad; having lived in Portland all her life, she wanted to show us the best places to go. We didn't go far from her house, parking a few blocks down the road, and wandered onto Mississippi Avenue, in search of sustenance. She walked with purpose; we followed, like loyal pets. Like all the best places, StormBreaker Brewing doesn't look like much on the outside. This brew-pub-cum-restaurant, located in the trendy Boise neighbourhood in Northern Portland, and to be found on the corner of N. Mississippi Avenue and North Beech Street is basically an oversized shed and a decent-sized covered courtyard — and yes, you can sit here, and yes, it is heated. Not that we needed much heating on that warm June evening; all we really needed were a few beers and probably something to eat; we weren't sure yet. We dived in and say right down. StormBreaker gets its name from the nickname of nearby Mount Hood, the three-and-a-half thousand metre stratovolcano overlooking Portland. The brewery was founded by two guys in 2005 and still creates new beers to this day, all to be found on site with their witty, wonderful names as weird as the city itself. The beer menu can be alarming; but the servers are wonderfully friendly and always on hand to dish out tasters so you can make the right choice. I eschewed the refreshing Total ReKolsch and ended up with a couple of pints of a deep and dark stout called ‘Opacus’ which was bursting with caramel and chocolate; it was by far and away the best stout I have had in my life. My girlfriend was all over the ‘Right as Rain’ pale ale, with was beautifully smooth and fruity. In the end, we were all burdened with the worst case of F.O.M.O. in the world and spent the rest of the evening on beer flights; a reasonably cheap and quirky way to try out selections of StormBreaker’s seasonal or regular beers. Our friendly (and, to my girlfriend’s delight, model-like) waiter convinced us to try some food; I am glad he did. To be honest the menu was winning us over anyway; a pretty typical pub menu, but with lots of neat twists. We ended up with a sausage platter made up of jalapeño beer sausage, German smoked link and cheddar and onion weiners, and a kale salad. Everything was cooked brilliantly and tasted amazing; the table next to us were loving their burgers as well. Despite the over-arching emphasis on beer (and yes, you’re in Portland and should be drinking beer here), there are lots of decent wines on the menu and the whole restaurant is very child friendly. There is a large kids menu and despite us being there pretty much all evening on a Saturday night, the vibe remained very chilled and amiable and thus great for families. Music wasn't up too high (we were in a residential area after all), so overall, I was loving it. When the time came to leave, after a few rounds of beers, flights and some food, the check only came to around sixty dollars. What a great first place for me to experience this awesome city. StormBreaker is well-worth a visit. OK so if you’re staying in Downtown it’s a bit of a schlep, but a worthy one. There’s plenty of car parking on the surrounding streets, and though the inside seating is very nice. Try and get a table in the courtyard if you can; Mississippi Avenue is the perfect place to people-watch. Very well-recommended.

We were in town for a meeting and stumbled on this place. The food was great and the beer was good too. I had the Lucy juicy burger and it was really good. One of those burgers you eat even though you are stuffed but you can't stop yourself. Yum!

The beer was good but the atmosphere even better. The staff was friendly. We didn't eat but the food we saw others eating looked good.

I had stumbled upon the name of this place out on historic Mississippi Avenue. Who knows how many times I must have driven past it? But it was that name that stuck in my mind-- STORMBREAKER. I read some fantasy novels and love a character named ELRIC who has an enchanted sword called "Stormbringer". A sword that steels souls. I was doing a pub crawl starting in the Pearl district hitting all the McMenamins on my way. Eventually I found myself at the bottom of Mississippi Avenue. And the name Stormbreaker popped into my head. So north I went to test my soul against their mighty brews. I came upon an outdoor area with benches filled with people. I ventured into the building and made my way to the dark bar. Eyed the beer list. I ordered a Porter, but it wasn't the beer that stole my soul. It was their Grilled Cheese sandwich that was lurking at the end of time. It tasted so good after a long night of drinking. And It made for a truly fantastic end to my quest. Stormbreaker also have some merchandise to offer as well. Their T-shirts cost about $20. Happy Hour is 3 pm to 6 pm.

Oh the burger et al were so good. After strolling along Mississippi St., and visiting some super fun shops, we finally stopped for a late lunch. StormBreaker has a large outside area and most of it is covered which was lucky as it was a hot day in Portland. I ordered a rather straight forward burger from a rather large menu. It can with potato chips. We also ordered the pickled vegetables. First the burger -- one of the best I have had in a long time from very good bread to the dressing. No need for any mustard or catsup on that one. And, the chips. Well, I was going to pass on those but one bite and I was hooked. Moving to the pickles vegetables - I can't believe I ate a turnip. Even it was so good. Don't miss this appetizer. The downside - even close to 3:00 p.m. the place was quite full with slow service (or was I just famished). By the way, the flights of beer looked quite inviting but alas we were into the wine.

They have whiskey and beer pairings here. First time a heard of something like that. I love it. They make a good brew here and when you pair it to a great whiskey its a win win. We did not eat here but were told that the burgers are great

Had burgers and Beer. Excellent food and service. Location was nice but small. Lots of street parking.

Had a great experience here at Stormbreaker. The weather was nice so we decided to sit on their lovely and expansive patio. It was a little crowded and service did take a minute, but our server was friendly. They have a great list of beers and offer two different beer flights. I enjoyed all of the beer that I had on my flight, I felt like there was great variety ad flavor in it. We also enjoyed some of their great Bratwurst and it was delicious. I didn't get to see the inside of the place, but I'm eager to come back and try it out again.

I love beer. I also love nachos. This place is the best of both of those worlds. I recall everyone else at the table getting other foods and beers. But They ALL helped me slam on the best dang nachos I've had in a LONG WHILE. I know, I know..but the beer. The beer is stellar. Don't think that its not. but THOSE NACHOS ARE LEGEND!!! just get some, grab a couple of pints and come hungry. They don't skimp on the portions here. if its chilly, get a spot out by the fire and enjoy the impeccable range of beers StormBreaker brews. This is the perfect spot to end your evening out in Portland. Just saying.

We stopped by for dinner. We were sheltered from the rain by their sitting area outside. It was very pleasant. We tried 5 of their special brews by sampling, and made our choices. I had a lovely stout. For shared appetizer, we chose the Kale salad and Brussels. Both were excellently presented and very tasty. For main course I chose the Jerk chicken accompanied with Indian lentils and the Brussels. The plate was delicious

This was a nice spot for a beer and appetizer before dinner. We sat outside on the picnic benches. Service was good, beers were good and the appetizers were good as well!

Three of us came for lunch. Nice choice of specials. I had the mac n cheese. It could have had a little more cheese and baked a little crustier...but that was just my preference. Tasted good as did the two daily grinder sandwiches my friends had. Three of us shared the brussel sprouts appetizer which was really good. Their beers had great flavors. The Mississippi Red could be one of my all time favs. Help was good...attentive, personal. The only downer is parking. Tough neighborhood for that...but worth hunting for the parking spot!

Server was a bit busy but very attentive. Beer was cold. Food was hot. Cornhole boards need work - and people like parking their strollers in your way and then let their kids jump on the boards. Don't let the "double burger" intimidate you - the burgers are tiny. CHECK OUT THE SPECIALS BEFORE YOU SIT DOWN - server didn't tell us what the specials were and we wished we would have known before ordering. He had a double burger and I had the portobello wrap - the wrap was YUMMY!

Ample seating in a great environment. Delicious beer and great food variety. Enjoyed the taste tray for the yearly beers. Can choose between this and seasonal beers. Food menu is ever changing. Chicken pesto panini was excellent.

Family visiting from Seattle chose this spot for a sample of beer. We were delighted and found some great food to boot! We chose seasoned peanuts, crunchy and sweet/savory; juicy hamburger; kale salad; small flight of beer. Fabulous time. The flight was delightful! Can easily become a frequent flyer.

Found this place while walking down Mississippi Ave and were drawn to the outdoor patio. Weather was ideal for sitting outside and relaxing. We got a sampler of their beers, plus a seasonal recommended by our waitress (I wish I remembered her name, she was excellent). I ordered one of their grilled cheese specials which was a great deal at $5, and added on a bowl of tomato soup. Fiancé had a brat with lentils and broccolini. To top it off, dessert was a salted caramel ooey yum yum bar (note: not actual name, but it is fitting, trust me!). Everything was delicious. Can't miss this place for a great Portland experience!

Stormbreaker had our favorite beers during our last trip to Portland. They had flavors for all palettes and even some unique mixed drinks. Don't miss the "When I froot.." which is their ale mixed with fruit, the version I had was with blood orange, and it was delicious. The draft board said next one up is with mango. We also liked the Right as Rain Pale as well. The setup of the place was comfortable and their was plenty of space outside as well.

Stopped in for a beer on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of options and staff who is super passionate about beer! Fun times.

This is one of my favorite patio and communal beer spots in NE PDX (where there are a lot). On a nice day or evening, the patio is vibrant and fun. The fire pit area is enjoyable in cooler weather and the inside a good vibe. Lots of Portland character, in one of our more vibrant neighborhoods. Food is pub fare, but good quality, and the draft house beer excellent. Plenty of full bar choices and bottled selection as well.

We were recommended to come to the Mississippi area and found StormBreaker Brewing on our walk. We were able to find a seat even though it was a busy Saturday night. We each ordered our beers and decided to take a look at the food menu as well. They have a great selection of yummy food that goes great with beer. We decided to go ahead and eat dinner since the food looked so good. We ordered a kale salad, clam chowder, and a chicken pesto panini. The food came out quick and was so good. It was more like eating dinner at a nice restaurant than at a brewery, we were surprised how great it was, even though it was simple menu items. We told our server to compliment the kitchen on the great meal and the server ended up coming back and telling us the chef had offered to buy us a beer for the great compliment. That has never happened before and made us like StormBreaker even more. Come check it out and get some great food and beer!

I stopped in here a while back for a flight or two of craft beer. I tried everything they had (from a beer standpoint) and didn't find a bad brew in the bunch. They Year One Belgian Barley Wine, Triple Double (imperial IPA), and especially the Barrel-Aged Fall of the Iron Curtain (Baltic porter!) were all great. Service was excellent, too. I'd definitely go back!

This brewery was the best brewery we visited in the Northwest. 2nd was Fort George Brewing in Astoria, so we made the rounds. The beer is fun and creative and appropriate to their styles. One of our favs was a dry hopped red ale, followed by basically every IPA they had on draft and then the Rainmaker pale ale which we absolutely loved! They have a great outdoor area with many fire pits and copious amounts of seating. Such a cool place, you must go!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stormbreaker Brewing Co. It's in a great part of town, the beers are excellent, food is fresh and tasty (we had the hummus platter) and the bar staff are super friendly. Picked up a few momentos of our stop, the merchandise is really cool. Cheers to everyone there, it was one of the highlights of our trip.

Stopped here on a brew pub crawl in Portland and I was really impressed. Their selection of craft beers was extensive and the bar tender was friendly and had extensive product knowledge. He offered samples and explained the differences of the various offerings. Their stouts had some interesting differences that he outlined in great detail.
Great beer tasters
Great independent micro brewery. Friendly staff deliver tasty bar snacks which we washed down with beer tasters (the best way to sample a number of beers in one go). The place has a nice atmosphere and large outdoor space for barmy summer evenings. Vegetarian choices were limited, although the lousy hunter burger was good. So good we visited twice.
