We came for drinks and a few appetizers. We received incredible, informed and friendly service from Carl W., who talked me into the Lavender-infused old fashion (seriously, it was great), and recommended the arancini. Went very well with the caprese salad. Seeing that we not intending to entertain an entree, Carl W. sold us o the maple syrup creme brulee. This was serious. We've been in San Antonio the past three nights and this our best dining experience. Wish we had discovered this place sooner.

To start, if the viewer has ever eaten at the Tobin center event and had the Stout's meal, you will be disappointed if expecting the same at the restaurant. That being said,, reservation was made for 6 pm, arrived, no problem with seating,, looked over menu, only to be told that two items still on menu were no longer available,, strike one,, once we ordered, the wait began, waiter did not offer any bread, appetizer or anything to drink ( water was poured - but nothing else offered or asked if wanted ), had to ask for bread,,, shortly after the bread arrived, we had almost finished when a member from the kitchen staff came out to remove the dishes,, after approx 30 minutes our dinner arrived ,, strike two ,,,, I had the Lemon Salmon, dinner guest had the Rosemary Chicken, strike three,, salmon was slightly overcooked, more like light blackened on skin,, not real tasty , dry to flavor,,, chicken was over cooked, dry, without flavor ,, both food entries were situated on top of a parmesan / spinach side ( salmon ), making it difficult to cut , to do so required use of a knife ( properly prepared could be cut with fork ) ,,,, chicken was placed on top of side ( a broccolini ) which also made it difficult to cut ,, even then it was dry and over crispy ,, ( I know there are only three strikes ,, but this one is getting strike four. The meals came very close to tasting like they had been cooked and then left under a heat lamp for severl minutes ,, All in all, as mentioned in opening, if even partially expecting a similar dining experience as what you would have in the Tobin center, you mite be better off going to Little Red Barn or Denny's ,, and if you expect any type of relaxing , quiet mood setting ,, nope, nada, not gonna happen ,, this is more of a bar grill set up than a true restaurant. Overall, what started as a planned evening of a nice relaxed meal , ended up getting to go boxes not even 20 minutes into eating, and an evening of enjoyment gone south ,, Will we be going back,, nope,, would I recommend,, not likely ,,, realistically it rates more of a 2 1/2 stars vs 3 ,, quality, setting, just wasn't there for such a quality advertised place coming from the Tobin. I'm sure for some, this fits their taste ,, but for the two of us, just wasn't anywhere close ,,

I had DuckWings as others posted with praises. It was very good. Since it was busy time (right before the show) and I was by myself, sat at the bar. Amanda, the bartender was so friendly and made me feel welcome. I'd recommend anyone to visit this place. Can't tell about other food but drink and atmospher was great.

We needed something right by the Tobin Center; and this fit the bill. Meatballs -- good Bread plate -- good Hummus -- a bit too garlicky, but OK Pizza -- well, maybe that's good pizza in Texas, but $24 for a white pizza with sliced tomatoes and basil is pretty sad. They sell it as a Margherita, but it's pretty much an above-average frozen pizza to me. Chocolate lava cake -- Took a good bit of time to prepare ... and my son noted that it barely tasted like chocolate. But the vanilla ice cream was good. Pretty good drinks.

Tobin events are convenient with garage, parking and dining on the first floor. Stout provides pre-show cocktails and +++ dining. The menu includes interesting appetizers, weekly, soups, pizzas, and entrées. The entrées range from seafood, foul, and beef. Our choice of duck entrée and a chicken entrée met our expectations. The Caesar salad and calamari appetizer are great starters. Either business dinner or a date night, the restaurant is convenient to the Tobin and downtown hotels. I live just north of downtown and will return to explore the menu.

Ahhhhhmazing! We stumbled upon this place, weird location, beautiful restaurant, amazing food and even better cocktails! Duck wings, Pig & Fig pizza, bread board all of it. This would be my I my reason to come back to SA!

Stout’s Signature just had their grand opening and what a great addition to the downtown area. The location is perfect and ambiance welcoming. Teddie was my server, professional and fun! Was very helpful. So impressed, I’ve made reservations for Friday night dinner. This is a must-dine in San Antonio.

I was here for a "goodbye" event for work. I've had Stout's pizza before (via delivery), and... WOAH. The presentation of these appetizers was simply beautiful! The cheese boards, pizzas, everything was a work of art. Talk about taking pride in your product! Given the location, right downtown, right next to the Tobin Center, this will be a place to visit for a glass of wine (inclusive menu, by the way), a business drink, or a nice dinner (upper mid-range pricing, but you get QUALITY). Don't let the location (within a parking garage) confuse you. This is a PRIME SPOT.

Dinner here was fabulous. The service was outstanding, and management checked in a few times to ensure our experience was great. Oysters Rockafella, pizza, and red snapper risotto were mouthwateringly delicious!

An indifferent kitchen serving bland tasteless and overcooked food, a bar slinging room temperature martinis straight up, coupled with service that is friendly and slow, all packed within an impersonal echo chamber charging hundreds of dollars for food as tasty as a frozen dinner. Order the pizza.

We were escaping the chaos of the Riverwalk, and wandered into this restaurant, which only opened 4 weeks ago (the waiter told us). The staff did seem to be inefficient at times, but they're still learning and all of them were trying hard. But the food was outstanding, better than we expected. We (2 adult men) split a large quinoa salad (Mediterranean) and pizza (Stout Special), and we were stuffed by end of evening. I would go back many times (if I lived there) for that quinoa salad, so flavorful. Not sure this place needs a sommelier (and he was a little intrusive) but the wine selection was great. Highly recommend this place!

Stouts Signature at Tobin Center ➖️⭐️ I wouldn't normally do this but now I'm just pissed. We are super foodies always looking for that hidden gem! My husband came across the Stout's story. We have their pizza location in town here in New Braunfels and had never been. We discovered the fine dining Stout's Signature at the Tobin Center. We had a little staycation in early December and decided we had to try their cocktail menu. The cocktails rocked! While we were there Kelly the server sold us on joining the J's club (a liquor locker, exclusive event invites, and limited whiskeys.) We could have definitely used this for business. We were told we would receive a call the following week once our locker was engraved. We had dinner there the following week. Kelly wasn't there and it still wasn't engraved. We got busy with holidays and didnt really think about it until I started seeing wine pairing events. We were never called or emailed like what was promised. I called and spent a lifetime on hold which made me totally over even wanting to be a part of an exclusive club. Once Kelly finally got on the phone I just wanted a refund. I was told I would receive a call on Friday and that never happened. I left a review the next day and the response had nothing to do with me and my situation. The owner obviously has me mixed up with someone else. Instead of refunding me we were charged an additional $400. Also, The food isn't that great especially for me to drive an hour. I want my $800 back!!

We were in the city for a show at the Tobin Center, and Stout's is in their parking garage--very convenient. We were a bit uneasy about the prices, but the convenience convinced us. And we were very pleasantly surprised. We both selected a soup and salad combo--spinach panzanella and chicken noodle soup. Both were delicious and just enough to get us through the evening. Our waiter, Isaac, was very professional and accommodating, and made our experience even better. We learned that Stout's has a pizza restaurant in New Braunfels, probably with a greatly reduced overhead. We look forward to giving it a try.
You must eat here!!!
So yummy. We stumble on this place looking for something to eat before a show. It started off amazing with the kind hostesses and went up hill from there. Our waiter,Mathew R. Was incredible. Even the sommelier was amazing and I don’t drink wine!! The portobello fries and Pig and Pear pizza were delicious. And oh my goodness the bread pudding was to die for. We couldn’t eat it all so Mathew put in the fridge for us and we went back after the show and had a drink and finished it. Did I mention the cocktails? One of them smelled so good I almost forgot to drink it but when I did remember it was soooo good.
