Amazing food and cute inside!

This place is a hidden gem. Amazing well priced food and a really cool interior space. We came here for Sunday brunch and there were many open tables. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

Cool vibe with solid food

This was our 1st time here and we were entertaining a few folks. Everyone really liked the food, drinks, and service. We will definitely be back.

These Are Our Peeps!

By Steve T |

When our oldest daughter was researching colleges, her guidance counselor advised her to ask herself, ‘Are my peeps here?’ Great advice. My wife, youngest daughter and I loved Street Disco. Creatively-crafted small plates for sharing, scrupulously fresh ingredients, a wonderful curated wine list with an emphasis on natural fermentation, and yes, people we had an affinity for and with. We shared seven different plates, with highlights including oysters from British Columbia, an ethereal salmon crudo, and an ‘Oc-Toc’ taco, but with a fragrant leaf standing in for a taco shell. We had never heard of any of the wines, but they were a great match for the food. Pet-nat wines their specialty. Just-wow. I forgot to mention the impossibly-light cheesecake, made with Basque cheese. To be sure, this restaurant will not be for everybody. This is the first brick/mortar place for a team that has been making waves in the Portland pop-up scene. Your chair may, or may not wobble. If you’re looking for opulent ambience, look elsewhere. The portions are pretty small, the prices are a little high. We liked the nu-R&B and old-school hip-hop music. YMMV. But the artistry of the dishes (menu changes daily), the casual atmosphere, and the peeps suited us perfectly. Turns out our server was also the sommelier and one of the owners, something we only discovered near the end of our meal. You could tell how much this is a labor of lover for her and the entire staff. This is why we love to visit Portland and to try new places—to discover great food and to meet great people. We were 2 for 2 at Street Disco.

Cool Small Plate experience

would not call it French, or Spanish; good for foodies who can handle small plates; we got 5 plus dessert. The succotash was amazing as was the burnt Basque cheesecake. Will definitely go again. A bit loud for my wife, who enjoys conversation, but one can sit outside.
