Reserved easily online and table was ready the second we arrived. Excellent steak, smooth like butter. Great service from a friendly server. I'd return.

I've eaten at a number of steakhouses in Las Vegas over the years. Some, especially in higher-end properties, have been good but not even close to worth the price. But if you want a unique dining experience, Stripsteak is the place to go. The prices are not for the faint of heart, but if you're a "go big or go home" type of person, or want to have an impressive business dinner, this is the place to go. We started with the complementary french fries, which were excellent. I had the house specialty Wagyu rib cap steak which was perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic. It is a small steak but that was fine since we got some great sides (the two types of whipped potatoes and also asparagus). The potatoes were amazingly creamy and tasty. To cap off the meal we had the beignets, which were also excellent. We let the meal very full but not "oh no, I just ate a pound of beef" full. Thomas H, our waiter, was fantastic and knows his product very well. We basically followed his recommendations after a few questions, and I was extremely happy with the result. Service in general was great. Normally I'm very skeptical of higher-end steakhouses, and my expectations are very high. But seeing the mesquite and apricot-wood fueled Santa Maria grills, and the quality of beef being used, I knew it was going to be an above average experience. Skirtsteak exceeded my expectations, which is a rare thing. We were both really pleased, and will be back again.

Stopped in for my fav, the rib eye cap. Was treated rudely by the bartender. Mercifully she passed me to another server. Steak was great !

We went here for our anniversary dinner while we were staying at Mandalay Bay. We have been here before and we are always treated well and the food is great

The Prime Rib I have ever had. I said this before, when I ate here 2 years ago, and I had hoped I had not built it up in my mind, I did not, the 16oz Prime Rib is spectacular My wife had the Filet, and it melted in her mouth. Sides were excellent Service - Top Notch Cant wait for the next visit

My team and I have held customer-appreciation dinners at Stripsteak in Vegas for the past three years during SEMA week. With the exception of our visit last week, this restaurant has lived up to its billing. This past Friday, however, our experience was quite different. Including customers, our group was 15 people large, and not only were we squeezed into a setting more appropriate for 10-12 (strange, considering I had made the reservation two weeks prior), but we were provided with one server, who was also saddled with several other tables. In the past, Stripsteak’s service has been impeccable - with a server and at least one fully engaged support staff tending to our always large groups. On this occasion our server was pleasantly attentive but seemed desperately overworked. The other sub-par aspect of our experience, surprisingly, was the food itself. Although most of our meals and appetizers were very good or even excellent, several of the steaks served were under-done. One was sent back as it was blue-rare at best when it was ordered as medium. When you’re a steakhouse that is not shy about charging premium prices, I believe you should at least get your steaks right. Premium prices should guarantee a premium experience. If we had spent $1500 for 15 people, it would be easier to accept a less than perfect experience, but when you spend twice that amount (before tip), I expect much more. For other people’s sake, I hope this was a one-time glitch in how Stripsteak goes about its business. As for me, I cannot afford to pay premium dollar without giving my clients the best experience possible and will be taking a break from Stripsteak for a year or two at least.

We stopped in for the steak while staying at Mandalay Bay for a conference and loved the steak and wine. I had the dry aged ribeye and it was excellent. The Mac and cheese was good as well.

My wife and I have been to Stripsteak in Waikiki multiple times, and we always loved our time there. This was our first time at this location and, unfortunately, our experience was a big letdown. First of all, the ambiance is quite anonymous, just inside the casino with no view or any particular design feature. It's also very loud and not conducive to a romantic dinner (we were here to celebrate our anniversary). The biggest letdown was the food: we came here expressly to eat the Whole Drunken Lobster, the signature dish that we had on our last visit to Waikiki a few months ago. Unfortunately, the lobster was overcooked, stringy, and almost tasteless. On the plus side, the Wagyu Steak Tartar was very good, just a bit too spicy. The Spicy Salmon Tataki was also excellent. Finally, the Ginger-Scallion Sea Bass was great, just, again, a bit too savory. The steaks at the neighboring tables looked amazing, so I guess we will stick to those in case we come back to this venue.

Chris our bartender was awesome. Very friendly and great service. Food was very good. Not busy at 1800h plenty of seating. Social distancing and masks are required. Full bar.

I took my Husband here for his Birthday Dinner and we had a wonderful experience. We had Myra as our waitress and she made our first experience a great one. The Rib Eye melted in our mouth. Along wth the scallops and their famous fries. Thanks Myra for everything we will def come back to visit again when we come to Vegas.

If you're not interested in juicy, tender ribeyes or sirloin, just swipe past this review. Stripsteak was awesome as was the service. One of the best meals ever and we plan on visiting the one in Miami as well. Don't leave Las Vegas without treating yourself to this more than special evening!

OMG!! Don't even know where to start. Great menu!! The food was delicious and the service was on point. It is a bit pricey but well worth every cent if you are a steak lover. Don't go here if you are in a rush - enjoy the atmosphere. If you want fast food, go to McDonalds.

I wasn’t sure if there would be enough time to have dinner and get to the airport in time for my flight home. When I inquired at the hostess station they assured I’d have the time but suggested I sit at the bar. The bartender quickly greeted me and said he knew I was in a hurry and would do whatever he could for me. My meal came out fast, perfectly cooked and delicious. I had the 8oz. Wagyu Mishima Reserve rib cap and added a lobe of foie gras on top. Mouth watering. I’d definitely go back.

The service and the seabass were both amazing. However for a restaurant called Stripsteak, the NY steak was so grisly it was almost inedible. At least one third was left on the plate. So disappointing.

Three of us ate there last night. Pros: seated quickly, attentive server, delicious food Cons: 1 of 3 steaks cool, dirty dishes left in the table too long (our server also cleared table) Total bill $520 (includes 8 drinks). Nice experience and we’ll give it another try as this was the holidays and maybe they were missing staff.

We had great meals at this restaurant! All had steak that was excellent. The fries were amazing and they gladly brought us 2 servings as we waited for our dinners. Not 5 star due to the atmosphere being a bit stark but otherwise glad we went! (We changed another reservation we had due to our local bartender's recommendation and glad we did.)

We enjoyed a meal at Stripsteak over Labor Day weekend. I potato duo was a hit as was the sliced ribeye. Excellent service, and it was so nice to eat inside a restaurant with actual plates (not possible in CA). Make a reservation as many of the restaurants are not open.

Conducted a business dinner with 10 people. The service was good and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the wagyu beef. Sides are extra with the meal, so you don’t feel like you’re eating too much food. The service was fast and the drinks were good. We also did happy hour prior and there was a lot of affordable drink prices on the menu. Very pleased, I would pick this again

We had a very good dinner experience here prior to going to Michael Jackson One. While we were looking over the menu, we were brought a trio of duck fat fries (I think cajun, herb, and truffle?) and sauces (ketchup, garlic herb, truffle aioli?).We shared an 8 oz Waygu Mishima filet ordered medium rare. It was perfectly cooked and delicious - no sauces needed. We also shared a side of yummy truffle mac & cheese. We selected a half bottle of 2014 Diamond Creek cabernet - it had to be decanted because it was young - but was an excellent accompaniment to our dinner. We skipped dessert, but were given a small bag of caramel corn to go, which unfortunately was burnt.

Came here as a small bachelor party, 4 of us, for dinner. I definitely recommend having a reservation, we did and it was fairly crowded. Overall, the food and drinks were great! Our only complaint for the whole thing was that the service was very slow. But other than that, the staff was very friendly! We got a free order or fries for the table cause of the groom to be, which was very nice. The fries were so good we ordered more. Again, the food was absolutely great! Just for 4 of us, it was about a 2.5 hour long dinner because of how long it took for someone to take our drink order after sitting down, then another very long stretch of time to order our food and also get our food. Then trying to get our bill took awhile. But waiting time aside, this place was great. If you don't care about the wait, I definitely recommend coming here. If I go back to Vegas, I will come back here.

Fabulous food. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m here. I took a chance on the tasting menu. It was extraordinary. Loved the little taco with caviar, steak tartar appy with caviar, the “bacon” pork belly, and omg, the sea bass melted in my mouth. It was perfectly done, like butter and so flavourful. The steak was delicious but the sea bass ruled. The rice had an Asian 5 spice flavour and was delicious too. Can’t say enough. Then there was dessert. 4 separate items with the crème brûlée and Beignets (warm in their own little blanket) my favourites. melt in your mouth delicious. Thank you for a memorable meal!

As I was looking at the menu that was outside the restaurant trying to determine to go in or not, an employee came over and said "you can't afford it" I said what did you say, he repeated it. I asked to speak to his supervisor or Manger, he went to a couple of other employees, as to scramble around. After 10 minutes of no supervisor or manager, I went to complain at the Mandalay Bay front desk. The manager apologized and explained they were two different entities and that he would forward the complaint to restaurant supervisor to call me. I have not yet received a call from anyone at the restaurant. I'm sure you wondering, yes I'm a women of color. DO NOT eat at this restaurant.

The Esquire Magazine declared the rib cap best steak in America and our guests agreed. I am vegetarian and my meal was also great.

Pretty descent, but not good enough for the price. Complementary French Fries for the table, three different flavors with three different sauces. I like the Truffle Fries the best but they were all good. I ordered the $20 Sashimi appetizer which came in a COMICALLY small two tiny pieces. Don’t get me wrong, they were really good with an outstanding sauce to top it, but definitely not worth the price. Blame me for getting fish at a steakhouse, but, although descent, NOT worth the $45 for what it was. Steak was also pretty good. The Bread we ordered was horrible and the sauce did not come with enough balsamic vinaigrette.

Lemme start by saying my husband and I go to a nice steak house every trip we take! So we have seen many from California to Hawaii. This place is not all that great and the price tag was HIGH. Steaks were average. Overall the food was good just not worth the price. Also our waitress got our order, and checked on us wayyyyy after someone brought the food…. Would of loved a second cocktail but by the time she made her way to us we wanted our check. The gentlemen filling our waters was on top of it though! But the waitress was not great, this is jot something you expect when you pay a high price for a meal.

I went here for dinner. The service is very good and the people were nice. The bread was great. The duck fat fries were great. I had the prime rib and it was fairly decent. Not the best I’ve had. I’ve had rib cap here in the past and should have went with that.

I have dined here many many times over the years. The service was great. Top shelf. Cocktails, wine sommelier - great. The wedge salad, underwhelming. This is my third steak house in 2 weeks, my worst wedge. The steak - bone in strip, I buy better steaks at wal-mart and my local grocer. My customer dinning with me from Dallas said it was the thinnest strip he has ever seen. Full of gristle. And I told him this was a great place to eat. The lobster mashed - fantastic. The beignets were good, but with the 3 sauces - fantastic. So for over $400, this was pretty poor. I doubt I will eat here again.

My girlfriend and I were looking forward to eating at Stripsteak for a while. We had a reservation for 915pm and we got there around 9pm and we were seated immediately. The server, Thomas was great, very friendly, very polite. The food was beyond our expectations. It does cost much but it is really worth. Overall the experience was fun, decor chic and A1 service. Will definitely be back & definitely recommend!

Alex our bartender was so lovely! We’ve been to strip steak many times but this visit was very special. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and the food was outstanding as always. The duck fat fries are always a must, great salads, and a new favorite was the pork belly! Cocktails were fabulous and service was just exactly what you would expect from a luxury dining experience!

Had higher expectations for StripSteak Vegas. I've been to most steakhouses in Vegas and we were staying at The Delano so I had higher expectations. Filet mignon was average and was not garnished with anything, so that's odd. Lobster mashed potatoes were excellent, but chicken piccata was very oily and gamey. A fight broke out in the restaurant between two apparently drunk patrons so we left after quickly asking for the check. Can't recommend.

My daughter and I shared the dry rub rib eye steak. So juicy and tender. My husband's filet mignon was also tender and juice and tons of flavor.

I would say Stripsteak is a nice mid/higher price level restaurant that is actually a solid value for what you receive. It’s probably the only restaurant I would specifically seek out in Mandalay Bay for my next Vegas visit. We had perfectly cooked steaks, absolutely delicious sides, and I had a dessert cocktail that I would love to replicate again (Why not have an espresso martini in Vegas at 10 PM? :-). Service was prompt and the perfect kind of unintrusive, friendly and unpretentious.

It’s a good restaurant, but I remember it much better from a long time ago. It’s very noisy, And not a good service. Too expensive for the experience

We stopped by here for a steak dinner during out recent stay in Las Vegas. I will say the food was excellent and worth the money. We both had a steak for dinner on our first visit to this restaurant. Then 3 days later we dined here again and enjoyed a Salmon dinner. The Salmon was done in such a way that it was beyond delicious and the steaks were top of the line. Special sanitized small bags were provided to store our masks while dinning. Meal were pricy but I would highly recommend this restaurant for great steak dinner.

Late night dinner with clients. I ordered the rib eye, Med Rare, cooked well however not a rib eye. More like a NY strip. No marbling and tasted like a grocery store steak. Not impressed and not worth $74.00. More like Outback quality

Referred by the conceirge at Bellagio hotel Crab legs, quite expense but outstanding Def wish i lived near this restaurant 🦀

The food was nice, but the cheapest steak was $79 without tax and service, and that was just a steak with no sides. Have I had better steaks? yes, the Percy Arms Chilworth does a better steak with fries at less than a third of that price. Whilst I expected by a premium price for the fact it's Las Vegas, it didn't feel like value.

Was worried based on some negative reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent. We were deciding on sides and the server steered us a way from the French fries. Said they were coming out complimentary as an appetizer. Was nice of her to tell us so that we didn't wind up with too many fries. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was attentive. Prices are high but they are at every steak house on the strip.

I always book a dinner at Stripsteak when I'm in Las Vegas and it never disappoints. Yes, its not cheap, but so far I've never had a bad experience. I highly recommend the Wagyu Rip Cap, the truffle mac and cheese and the spicy pork belly fried rice. I also recommend consulting with the sommelier for recommendations on wine parings. They are always knowledgeable and happy to make great recommendation within whatever budget you have.

Food is delicious and service professional. Without fake smiles... It is on expensive side. Highly recommend.

Our friends, we were with, had been here before and loved it. The guys had oysters and loved them. Presentations were very nice. Salad was ok and my ribeye w/horseradish crust was mediocre. I thought I was going to be blown away, but I wasn't and my husband felt the same way. We got mushrooms and spinach for sides, which were good. Food was very pricey. I'm ok with pricey, if the food measures up, but it didn't. Service was good, as was the ambience, good wine selection... but we won't return. PS...If you wear black, make sure you request a black napkin to avoid the white lint!

The service was top notch and left us needing for nothing. Even the waiters suggestions were perfect and well suited for our questions and desires. All the food was great but the Rib cap steak was amazing. I may be ruined for other steaks to come in the future!

Nice happy hour with really attentive service. Good happy hour drinks and food selection. Huge shrimps and really good BLT Wedge Salad.

Great service & excellent food. Fun ambiance on the strip of Las Vegas. The fish & steak were delicious. Definitely will keep coming back.

I don’t know why this restaurant is getting good reviews. It’s far overpriced for what you get. I ordered the salmon. I got one small piece of salmon, dry and tasted old, on a plate for $48! All dishes have to be ordered separately, meaning you will pay over $100 per person if you order a salad and vegetable with your entree. We weren’t even offered bread, though they did give us free French fries before the meal. The restaurant is extremely noisy, and we were seated at a long common booth with other patrons, not a separate table. Very bad seating arrangement. I’ve been to fancy, expensive restaurants before, and it is expected when you pay this much for a meal, that you get your own booth and a quieter atmosphere. I ordered the green mixed salad, and that was good, but the salmon was not fresh and the broccoli spears were too salty. All in all, I would not go back.

Our night started out lovely. The hostess(s) were polite and sat us after a short wait. ALL waitstaff BESIDES our waitress were great. I expected such superb service and unfortunately she fell short. After having such lovely, superb experiences at the Waikiki location I guess my expectations were set too high. The waitress basically told me that when looking at the menu. She said..I see you’ve been to Waikiki..we do things differently here. We could not decide if we wanted wine so we requested the list for later. We did order appetizers (2) and cocktails. The service between courses was impeccable, the young man clearing our dishes and refilling our water should be promoted. Our waitress basically left us to sit and wait, wait, and wait. I realize you wait a bit between courses … she checked on us once ONCE. I wanted dessert, but it took SO LONG for her to check on us after we finished our entrees that I decided against it. She went to get dessert menus and never came back..I had to ask the young man clearing the table to just have her bring our checks. Her whole attitude really was bad. My friend that was with us noticed it, too. I think she was mad we decided against wine. And, she gave a real attitude when we asked for our checks instead of desserts. She came out to ring up our checks and was super rude not only to my husband and I, but to our guests as well. I was so embarrassed. I have bragged on Stripsteak and wanted to share the experience with our friends. Again, our waitress was the only staff that we had issue with. Everyone else was great. The ambience was ok. It was a bit too loud to have conversation. The food was amazing, and so were the drinks. I’ll continue to go to the Waikiki location as it has a special place in my heart..but not the Vegas one. If you want superb food but hit or miss service with a rude waitress this will be ok.

Steven was our server & was very good with with help with the menu & ordering foods & sides. Andrew also helped with some of our questions about the menu & wine selection. The Wagyu Rib Cap steak wine selection was a good one. The steaks were cooked medium rare, just as we ordered. We all enjoyed the 40th birthday celebration there. We will be back.

Jr is an AMAZING mixologist! He made me an espresso martini with tequila and it might be the most tasty martini I’ve had. The atmosphere is great and try the French fry trio- it’s so good. I would have liked a TV so I could watch the games I bet on but other than that JR and Anna (the GM) we’re amazing!

I had the A7 Rib Cap (medium rare) with the seared foie Gras. Absolutely amazing dinner. The waitstaff were friendly and let me change my seat to optimize my people watching.

Great spot to have dinner with a colleague. Was in town for a hotel conference and have always wanted to try it. Got the chicken with the Foie gras dumplings. Food was absolutely excellent. The real show winner is the cornbread!!! Get the cornbread it was the best ive ever had.

good bone-in ribeye, thought porterhouse but my wallet not my stomach limited me expensive drinks but compared to everywhere in vegas avg cost, my buddy got fish (yeah at a steak place) and had good salmon (i.e. not overcooked)

Went here as a backup to Jean George in the Aria and it took the top spot for us! I had the Wagyu filet which was the best steak I’ve ever had! So tender and flavorful! We shared the Mac and cheese, potatoes which were both great and the fries they brought before hand were also really good. Staff was great, definitely ready to go back for this meal!

You are hiding behind a name and luck of being called one of the best steakhouses in Vegas...truth be told, your food and service is Outback that is sold at Capital Grill prices. From the moment we stepped in the place, it was evident that StripSteak is behind the game. From the most uncomfortable chairs and terrible view to the VERY undertrained staff and lackluster food - this was the worst experience of our three night trip. Menus were left on the table after ordering, I had to ask the (begrudging) waiter to take our salad plates away and we waited for over 40 minutes for our main meals. The only good thing to happen was the GM comping the meal...he was busy making amends to several tables while we were there. Will never return...very disappointing.

Very expensive, and not all that great. We had a meeting with clients. Ordered the bone marrow, pork belly, and nori tacos for appetizers. The bone marrow was awful, the worst I’ve had. Sea bass and scallops for dinner were mediocre. The dessert was completely straight out of the freezer. Service is excellent, but this place is not worth the price.

Business dinner with party of 15 was outstanding. Dinner selections included their #1 steak with amazing side dishes included. The chef selected fries were outstanding as an appetizer. And the deserts were so delicious. A return is required to this location.

Our family had a wonderful dining experience at StripSteak! We were in search of a good steak, and it did not disappoint! Arrived at 5:00 opening, and had excellent service. Our children loved the fry and sauce selection they serve while you wait for your food. YUM! The steaks were cooked to perfection. Sides were flavorful and well prepared. Make a good mac n cheese for kids. Pricey, but have to expect that for a steak restaurant in Vegas. At the end of the meal, they gave the kids bags of caramel corn, which came in handy for the Blue Man Group we watched following our meal. Would definitely return to StripSteak!

First and for most, the food was really delicious! However, the service is at best mediocre. The waitress basically told us there is nothing for kids, with a tone which would be surprising at any fast-food chain. Giving us the feeling that we are not welcome. The night continued with a bossy waitress and an unbearable wait for the check! In conclusion, you can get delicious steaks in many places with great service. This is not the place to spend your money!!!

I wish you could give negative stars, but oh well! We should of know from the very beginning it was going to be a disappointment when the two hostesses took 5 minutes to decide where to seat us. The place looked about empty except for a couple of big parties. The lady who brings you water failed to bring us our lemons we asked for, but she was very nice. It took ten minutes for our server to finally come to our table and when she did she wasn't ready to take our order said she would be back. 10 minutes later she finally comes back and takes our order at which time we asked again for lemons. I ordered the filet mignon and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered bone in ribeye with baked potato. The food was very plain and boring. My mashed potatoes were good and my husband said his steak was tough. Honestly we could of gotten that quality at longhorn steak house and they would of probably brought our lemons before we were done with our food. Spent 25 minutes waiting for our bill too. Definitely would not go back!! I do want to mention we had gone the day before for happy hour and the bartender was super nice. Wish everyone else was so attentive as her.

Have eaten hear a number of times. Service is always top notch and they go out of their way to please. What’s amazing is they always cook the steaks to perfection. I see people complain about the prices and it’s not cheap but you get a bigger cut of meat than some other places. For example they give you a 16 ounce NY Strip. We like it medium rare plus and most places just can’t get it. They do every time and have a great quality steak. The sides are very good but pricey for what you get. They also give the complimentary fries three ways with three sauces which is very good.

My husband and I love chef Michael Mina. We have enjoyed dining at numerous restaurants over the years. This was the first time at strip steak in Las Vegas. The food was outstanding the service was perfect. The atmosphere was wonderful. They were offering a price fix menu so that is what we decided on. Please see pictures for details. Our server was Glen H. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Jerry the manager was absolutely wonderful. He went above & beyond to make sure that everyone in the restaurant was happy and that everything was to perfection. I would highly recommend dining at strip steak.

If you take a trip to Las Vegas we recommend Stripsteak for a great meal. I went 1 month ago with my son in law and it was so good I had to take my wife on this trip recent trip. We have enjoyed some great steak dinners and Stripsteak ranks with the best of them.

Even with reservations, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated (despite many tables being open). The water service was fine but the waiter was terrible. He barely checked on us. The sides were bland and the sea bass was so salty that I couldn't even eat half of it. The waiter should have noticed and at least asked how it was, but he didn't.. It was definitely the worst meal we had during our time in Vegas and among the most expensive.

Here a couple of times during the week, dining with colleagues at the bar. Overall the basics were solid- filet, shrimp cocktail, Mac & cheese, martinis. Other than that underwhelmed by 2 Waygu ribeye cap, strip and ribeye. Kitchen seems to have an issue under and overcooking. Waygu ribeye cap for $100+ tasted like a basic cheap Denver steak. Side dishes fair.

Food and presentation was lovely but are other places in Vegas with much better service, setting and atmosphere.

As you can see from my past reviews I have been bringing a group of clients to StripSteak for the past 5 years but this year something changed. As always we were a large group but for some reason this year we waiting for our food with no follow up on drinks or appetizers for 45 minutes. When they finally followed up they told us they were platting everything now that the food will be right out. Well another 20 minutes went by until we flagged down our waitress. Food arrived again with no follow up on wine or drinks during dinner. When I finally flagged down the waitress again to get the check it took another 30 minutes. The manager came over with no apology, no offer for a free round, nothing but some cheap desert for the table which no one wanted. For the price of the food the service should be exceptional. I have now taken my business dinner to CUT in Palazzo.

Stripsteak is located in Mandalay Bay. We were part of a group of 9. Appetizers were amazing. Had Wagyu Filet Tartare & Instant Bacon. I had a Caesar Salad (white anchovies we’re ridiculously good). Entree for me was the Mishima Reserve Rib Cap. Was so completely delicious that melt in your mouth doesn’t do it justice. Perfect. There were desserts that looked great, but not a dessert eater. World class wine selection. We had Silver Oak and Insignia! More bottles than we should have! Meal was crazy expensive, but it was superb!! Great service topped it off!

Steak was good, potato was good, house wine was good, brussel sprouts were good but a little too hard for my taste. Bread was amazing. Shrimp cocktail was good. I have had my fair share of fancy steak places and Stripsteak was good, just not amazing or great. Again, the food was good, just not one of the best I have ever had. Also, $300 for two people to split a steak and trimmings is getting old and rapidly approaching “not worth it”. Maybe it’s me that’s getting old. Aside from the food, the place was nice, the scene lively later in the evening around 9pm or so. I just did not realize it was located in the fountsinbleu hotel. For an after dinner drink, I would suggest the lobby bar of the hotel. Definitely a see and be seen place on a Saturday night.

Wine selection was excellent. Salmon was cooked to perfection? Paired well with wedge salad.excellent service!

We made a NYE reservation weeks ago and when we arrived were told there would be 45 minutes to an hours wait. No explanation or even eye contact from the hostess. In fact we directly stood in front of the host stand for 5 minutes while they busily looked at their screens and we finally asked if we could check in. 30 minutes later while we waited at the bar another couple who had already been there for 90 minutes were told they would need to wait another 30 minutes or so. We went to the hostess stand to remove our name and Lauren (I asked her name) said “thanks for letting us know”. Again no eye contact, no “we are sorry for any inconvenience “. Nothing. This is completely unacceptable for a holiday that is expected to be so busy. Thankfully Libertene Social took us right away and our service and food was PHENOMENAL! I cannot recommend Stripsteak based on their customer service alone let alone the fact that our NYE dinner plans were nearly ruined. They lost our $600+ tab that we were thrilled to give to Libertene.

With tourism routinely down between Thanksgiving and Christmas it was alongside five colleagues that Dinner was enjoyed inside a quiet STRIPTEAK on Wednesday, the prix-fixe crafted by Executive Chef Anthony Schutz once again attesting to quality that has only improved since he took the wheel. Now steered by Tony for over three years, and recently benefitted through the addition of Vivian Chang as Pastry Chef for all Las Vegas Michael Mina Restaurants, it was minutes prior to 6:30pm that all guests were present, Mina’s trio of Duck Fat Fries soon joining a Tiki Drink titled Forbidden Lei that’s as sweet as it is potent. At this time one of four local Restaurants for Michael Mina, and arguably the most whimsical despite upscale Steakhouse branding, it was while working through crispy Potatoes and complimentary Sauces that course one was presented, the Cornbread “Twinkie” housing Citrus Crème Fraiche that offers a vibrant backdrop to Kaluga Caviar without overwhelming it. Keeping things simple for course two, raw Fish with textural additions showing careful restraint aside from a spicy Pepper slice, plate three stood in stark contrast to simplicity thanks to seared Duck Liver and a Donut Hole bolstered not only by Maple Syrup, but separated Arils and pureed Pomegranate. Family-style henceforth, three Butter-basted Prime cuts grilled between Medium-Rare and Medium gone quickly, those seeking an alternative to Beef will be glad to know STRIPSTEAK’s Mediterranean Seabass compares favorably to Fishes served inside Michael Mina Restaurant at Bellagio while sides such as Vegan-friendly Brussels Sprouts and Pork Belly Fried Rice bring seasonality with the flavors of Cider and Five Spice, respectively. Not forgetting classic Steakhouse sides like Creamed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes, though both are “cheffed-up” with the Lobster-whipped Spuds far better than others of their kind, it was after cleansing the palate with Coffee that Dessert began, the first of two trios highlighted by STRIPSTEAK’s world-class Beignets and creamy Panna Cotta that hints at Carrot Cake through both its crumbled top and bold Baking Spices. Less thrilled by Mina’s Banana Tarte Tatin, the Pastry not crisp and flaky like that at Bardot even before Ice Cream began to melt, a far better use of Bananas was found in the Ice Cream alongside Chef Chang’s Pecan Dandy Cinnamon Roll while the “Funnel Cake Cheesecake” delighted thanks to varying textures from bite to bite. Finishing with the Chocolate S’more and Oreo Ice Cream, a combination equally decadent as it sounds, it was with personalized menus and bags of Caramel Corn in hand that guests bid farewell, Mandalay Bay’s struggles still evident but STRIPSTEAK a destination worth seeking out for those bored with predictable Meats, Sides and Sweets.

We sat at the bar for an early dinner on Monday night and we were treated to a 5 star bar experience like no other. The bartenders were helpful, charming and professional. The wine guru, Rodney, a virtual walking wine book, helpful and effortlessly choosing the perfect bottle for us. The food was great but hats off to the French fries, everyone perfect and uniform with several sauces to choose from. They are irresistible. If you want a great dining experience, like no other, this is it!

Sooooo good! This is our go to place in Vegas. I always get the filet. The fries are to die for and you MUST get the beignets. They are amazing! Service is always good.

Reservations at 6:15, seated at 7:30... Ordered promptly, dinner, served at 8:15. Dinner was cold.. Sent it back, they warmed the outside of the $135.00 steak, its was cold on the inside.... The couple on the table next to us fell asleep while waiting on the entree.... No bread, they served french fires in lieu of... Dirty dishes all around us. They were short on staff I guess... while the wait staff they did have fawned on the VIPs... NO toilet paper in the Ladies room, whats a girl to do?? The long dinner delays caused us to miss the opening act of the M5 concert, sat down with min to spare. M5 was incredible, it saved NY Eve 2020.. Thank You Adam and Company!

We always eat here on a visit to Vegas. Food and service are excellent. Drinks are great too. It’s pricey but well worth it.

This was definitely a treat while on vacation. It's what I call a dining experience. We were seated in a very nice spot in the restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with really greay vibes. Our aerver was excellent, Joseph. He was patient, funny and personable. Great customer service for sure. The food was excellent. I had the salmon which was prepared perfectly and the taste was amazing. I also had the Brussel Sprouts which were amazingly delicious . It has slivers of apple and aome kinda sauce. I could eaten that for my dinner. My husband also had the salmon with baked potato, he said it was still a bit to hard for him, but the presentation was great! They gave you complementary fries with a sauce at the bottom of the container which was yummy. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The restroom needed some attention. I would say some time had went by before anyone loomed at it. The trash was overflowing and the tissue needed to be changed.

Stripsteak is the go-to steak house at Mandalay Bay. Great for large groups for business dinners. the steaks are pricey. .but hey its Vegas. The service is top notch. the sides are fabulous. best brussels sprouts I have ever had!

I enjoyed many restaurants during my visit. But this was my absolute favorite! I loved this restaurant

Great service. Delicious food that came with wonderful presentation. I ordered the cowboy ribeye and it was cooked to perfection. I have no complaints and only compliments for the dining experience receivednat Stripsteak. The truffle fries appetizers are a nice touch, didn't have to ask for them, they come automatically while you're waiting for your meal. Kind of like their version of bread when you get seated. There are a lot of food choices in Mandalay Bay and this is a great one.

Came here with family for dinner. If you have no budget for dinner this is your place!! $20 for a small wedge salad. $75 for a rib eye steak which was only ok. Salmon was decent at $49. Sides were $18-20 which were decent. Potatoes, lobster Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts. French fries served instead of bread and had to ask for bread. Service was very good though there were few people eating. Dessert was good caramel chocolate torte which was compted by the manager.

Anthony, Junior and Ryan are THE BEST bartenders out there! We went to Stripsteak 2 nights in a row because we love sitting at the bar with them, the service is unmatched, and the food is phenomenal!!! Can’t wait to go back!!

First off our waiter was excellent, friendly knowledgeable and sense of humour The starter fries excellent We had the shrimp cocktail as well Very good Entrees The best Prime Rib I have ever had. Without question My wife had the Filet Mignon and she said it was her best steak ever All the sides were outstanding as well Without a doubt we will go back on every Vegas trip going forward

What a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff's attention to detail just as evident. Our host recommended the house specialty Rib Eye Cap and it did not disappoint. A big thank you to the staff for satisfying a group of 24 folks with impeccable service and delicious entrees.

A local Las Vegas friend brought us here since he had been here several times. Impressive menu and great service, this is fine dinner with a casual atmosphere. Don't let the prices scare you away, because you'll enjoy everything that you order. I look forward to going back to this place.

From start to finish, this was an over the top experience! We were greeted warmly and seated immediately (reservation was made). The decor and furnishings were tastefully done and Dominic gave us personalized service, calling us by name…creating a memorable experience. Shout out to Hunter, Michelle and Dan. Chef Kyle was outstanding. The tastes exploded in my mouth and the presentation of food was something to be seen. All in all, this is a night I will remember with a smile. When returning to Vegas, it will be a place I return to. I highly recommend StripSteak

Stripsteak was the perfect choice ! One of the best restaurant in Miami, thanks a bunch to Elodie, Sean and Joey. They were pleasant, service was excellent. Good delicious. Fully recommend !! Can’t wait to go back, add this place on your to do list.

Our trade show dinner group had over 20 people. Food arrived for the entire group at the same time, steaks were cooked as requested for the whole table. Water glasses were constantly filled and dirty plates/glasses taken away immediately. The sommelier was there to fill glasses and discuss. It is hard to process a large group efficiently, but this restaurant has it down.

We visited at 8pm after seeing the Elvis show. We both ordered the rack of lamb with a side of mash and mac/cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection. Very good cocktails too.

This is about my 6th review for things I did in Las Vegas last week. It's my first sub 4 star rating, and it's based on expectations. I frequent Madalay Bay, and visit MGM properties about every other month. We started off with the seafood platter appetizer and it was very disappointing, and cost 70. Not much, and not well cooked, or presented. My wife and I ordered the Rib-eye and Scallops and have them split the for us, which the kindly did. The Rib-eye was was a 7 or 8 on a scale of 10, and the Scallops were fine, but they only give you 4? Can you imagine you order the scallop entree and only receive 4 scallops? Also - I think it's poor taste when they charge you for each soft drink. Really? Is that necessary? With tip, and no alcohol for this dinner or bill was 333. It was not worth anything close to that. Combination of price, and product give this one a low grade for me.

Steak cooked perfect perfectly with excellent service! Check it out next time you’re staying at Mandalay and want a nice yet unpretentious meal.

We were in town for a conference and stopped here for drinks and appetizer! Delicious!! We had the hummus, truffle fries, steak tacos and chicken wings. It was all amazing! The drinks were great too! Great atmosphere!

We chose Stripsteak spur of the moment and were so glad we did. We started off with their complimentary duck fat fries and tuna tartare, which was exceedingly fresh. Then the Wagyu Cap prepared Pittsburgh style (charred) & the truffle Mac and Cheese. It was definitely the best meal on this trip!

Went to dinner with friend, 2 of us had strip steak and it was very tough and not cooked how ordered very overpriced for what you got. My husband had rib cap and it was good just not great. The strip steak was the winner here as it had the best flavor and cooked to correct temperature. For the $500 bill I expected much more greatness. Tried and fail in my opinion. Wait staff was very nice.

I came here after giving up trying to get decent service at Lupo. I sat at the bar at Stripsteak and Anthony was my bartender/server. He did an excellent job! I had the shrimp cocktail (excellent), the drunken Lobster (good), and the creamed spinach (excellent). Overall, a great experience. I'll be back!

Pretty decent...we chose StripSteak for my oldest daughter's 21st Birthday while we were in Vegas. To me it was a bit overpriced for the portions they give you, but my daughter enjoyed her meal so that's all that matters.

Thanks to the whole staff, especially Anthony at the bar. The wagyu was spectacular and the burger outstanding!

$24. For a glass of Fronsac Bordeaux. I believe this is about what a bottle would cost (not wholesale). I was so disturbed by the overcharging on the menu prices that my appetite was ruined. We had looked at other menus displayed on our walk through the resort and one was not displayed for Stripsteak. That should have been an omen. We wanted a steak house. Yikes. Service was top notch! Just be prepared to pay about $250. for two small steaks, a potato, mushrooms and two beverages. If you want steak, stick with Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s. Provided at no cost was a trio of tasty fries, different aiolis and a sweet little bag of caramel corn. Choose wisely and carry a wad of casino winnings.

A trip to Vegas is not complete unless I hit up StripSteak at Mandalay Bay. This time around I was not super hungry, but it was my only night free to have dinner at StripSteak. The service was good, not as great as my past visits, but still knowledgeable and attentive staff. I enjoyed the complimentary fries...who doesn't like fries. I had my usual 8 oz Wagyu Rib Cap, Gratin potatoes and some wine. The rib cap was cooked to perfection (unlike the one I had somewhere else a few days later), charred on the outside and the perfect medium rare + on the inside. The potatoes were delicious with the thinly sliced potato layers with smoked gouda in between. Everyone is different, but this is still one of my favorite meals in Vegas. I hope you get a chance to enjoy!

Great Happy Hour ! Great Bar ! Great Beef (Dry Aged available!) ! One of our Go To places in Las Vegas.

The 10 of us ordered filet mignon and many bottles of wine. I can only imagine the final bill amount! However, it was amazing food. Definitely what you would expect out of a steakhouse, and well worth whatever we spent. Highly recommend for upscale business environment. A place to take your prospect to win them over...

Had the Waygu strip steak and wife had filet and the both were very good but wouldnt say great. The lobster mash potatoes were really good. Service was good and like the ambience. Very expensive but would recommend.

Food was excellent. Wait staff was excellent and very accommodating. Food prices are on the high end but the great taste made up for it.

I’ve been on the search for a great steak option on the strip. There are tons of options so I keep looking for something to separate them. I typically stay off the strip at Red Rock which has a great steak restaurant Tbones. So if I’m going to Uber to the strip and back it needs to be worth it. I have given a few options a shot recently including Craft Steak and Edge. Strip Steak is in Mandalay Bay in restaurant row. Like most places it has a lively atmosphere. I sat at the bar. I wasn’t hungry enough for a starter which was a blessing in disguise. Everyone gets a complimented duck fat French fry flight. 3 different seasoned fries with 3 different dips. I believe it was dill pickle seasoning with ketchup, truffle with garlic aioli, and spicy with ranch. All were great, warm crispy solid fries. For dinner kept it simple with a NY strip and the charred broccolini. I really liked the broccolini has some spice from Calabrian chiles. The steak was tender, juicy, cooked perfect med rare with a little smoke flavor from the grill. Some red wine and a real good meal. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. Maybe one thing I thought the menu choices were a little limited. Probably around 3 Wagyu options and 4-5 non wagyu. I thought starters were limited though there were multiple seafood/raw bar options. All in all a solid option but not sure I’d make the trip as a destination meal if staying off strip.

Perfect service served a perfect meal in perfect timing. Wedge salad, filet and a bottle of wine. Came slightly early because we couldn’t get reservations and were seated promptly. Mina knows how to run a restaurant.

I was at a work conference in April and stayed at Mandalay Bay resort and ate at strip steak. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The prices are really high, but that is Vegas for you. I had a filet and it was very juicy and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant, but be prepared to spend a little money.

Excellent Steaks and service made this place a new favorite. Scallops are amazing, Filet was perfectly cooked and aged to perfection. Staff was polite and helpful.

Great food and steaks that were perfectly cooked. Our only issue was the price. We don’t have an issue paying for good food, but theses were definitely overpriced.

We stopped in for happy hour. We had the tacos, which were tasty and the chicken wings that were out of this world. They were super hot but delicious. I am not a fan of spicy/hot things, but the taste was too good to stop. More wine to numb my mouth that was on fire.

As with most 'fine dining' restaurants in hotels in Vegas this restaurant is VERY over priced. $62 for chicken breast, which was nice, but not outstanding, shrimps served on a shed load of ice and some dipping sauce, not stretching the imagination at all. Our server was condescending to the point that l asked him if he was being sarcastic with me. They appeared not to be interested in us at all. Just short of $400 for two courses and four glasses of wine. Best part was the three tiny buckets of fries and dipping sauce given at the start of the meal, unordered. Hungry when we went in and hungry when we came out. Eat here again? Not on your life. Save your time and money and go to Mc's over the road, at least you know what you are getting for your dollars. We totally agree with the other terrible reviews on this site

Reservations for Group Dining of 22 was confirmed after considering 4 other restaurants. I was quite please with the dinner setup and servers were excellent. However, with a full itinerary of 20 guest / final count, I understood I would be credited if guest attending was less or charged if more attended. Well my beautiful evening of celebration & excitement came with disappointment! I would not be credited as previously informed and was charged the full 22 guest by restaurant and event planning demonstrated no interest in making it right! No exceptions - only policy and contract. Please get everything in writing as the customer experience here with the planning staff missed the mark… At best Mandalay Bay and Delano definitely got it right!! I informed family and friends to book hotel reservations and their upcoming celebration dinner elsewhere. My MVP me at nothing here! Quite disappointing in the lack of empathy and the inability to make exceptions when warranted! My husband, the birthday man, loved the food so much he wanted to return Sunday but chose to go elsewhere after I informed him of what happened with the guest count at his birthday dinner! Customer Experience is everything

My son and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Stripsteak. The steaks were wonderful - I had the angus filet and he had ribeye. Service was superb and we even enjoyed the complimentary truffle fries upon being seated at our table.

Had the most expensive steak there was. Ordered it medium rame and came out mid to well done. Did not send it back. Just won't go back.

Wonderful dinner though the setting is a bit too loud. Service was steady. Each of us had a different cut of beef, and they were all outstanding, but at $650 for a family of four, anything less would be an outrage. As far as I can tell, Vegas is full of great steak options that would cost half as much. Won’t return.

Had a great dinner and drinks. Recommend if with more than 2 people to order the family type dinner since feeds many and overall good price for what you get compared to everyone ordering on their own.

This restaurant has a hip upscale vibe. Michelle our server was amazing. Helpful, friendly, the works. The steaks were all melt in your mouth worthy, but the surprise star was the lobster mashed potatoes. There was a fight at the table as to who would get to finish them. The support staff, I think it was Matthew who was so quick to refill waters and clear dishes was also helpful. You must get the beignets for dessert! The butterscotch sauce is out of this world and addicting. We will be back!

Great atmosphere and an excellent meal. Their Steak Oscar had huge chunks of King Crab and as always the sides were delicious especially the potatoes au gratin. Our waiter Steve was at the top of his game. Of particular note is one scotch we ordered was unavailable but the result was a complimentary upgrade to a better selection. A very nice touch. We finished off the meal with the hot Beignets which were outrageously good.

Came here for dinner, since i was solo sat at the bar. Barmen was friendly explained the menu and GF menu. Placed my order and since it was going to take a while for my order to be prepared since the just opened, they gave me complementary fries. Steak i got was 8oz filet , it was excellent as well as the shrimp cocktail and baked potato.

A look at the website and we decided we needed to check this places out. I myself love steak frites and my husband love anything with steak! We made a reservation for our first night in Vegas for 5 since we thought getting off the plane, time change and all, we would be hungry... Unfortunately, we got to vegas and were hungrier than expected, so after we checked in, we searched for a quick bite unfortunately the food court was closed, we grabbed something from the mexican restaurant but ate too many chips so by 5pm we weren't all that hungry. But in an effort to keep the reservation, we went to Stripsteak. We were seated and ready to order some steak frites and told that we could not order from the happy hour menu. Happy hour was from 5-7, our reservation was for 5. Any way the server left to ask the manager if we could order from the happy hour menu and returned to tell us if we wanted to order from that menu we would need to move 10 feet to the lounge area. Not a big deal but this should be on a separate menu if you can't order that in the restaurant section. Anyway the steak was delicious, like butter and the fries were really good. The truffle sauce was the cherry on top. So over all food was good but they should update their menu.

This contemporary, re-invented steak house has Asian influenced food as well as ambiance. While many of the old-school, throw-back steakhouse items are on the menu, this exciting curation is full of interesting fusions. First of all, we showed up an hour earlier than our reservation, and they seated us within five minutes, despite how busy the were! Commendable. The service continued to impress, as our server, Stacy, brought complementary fries—which were amazing, and bottomless if you prefer—and continued to be jovial throughout our dinner experience. Rather than selecting a dry-aged steak (you can see them hanging), we opted for a selection from Michael Mina's eclectic and hyper-creative menu. We shared a lovely Wedge Salad ($19), which they split for us, amazing Lobster Tacos ($24) , which came in wonton shells with pineapple salsa, perfectly prepared Foie Gras & Pineapple Skewers ($24) with Yakitori glaze, and Instant Bacon ($24), which was actually extremely lean, glazed pork belly topped with a tempura oyster and garnished with rice noodles. The oyster was actually fishy, and the low-light of the meal. I had a Langeudoc rosé champagne ($18), while my husband enjoyed Martinis ($20), both of which paired very well with meal instead of traditional steakhouse red wines or Sake for Asian cuisine. To end our most delightful dinner, Stacy brought a complementary dessert, since it was my husband's birthday. It was delicious, but by then we were too satiated to finish even half of it. STRIPSTEAK is the dining jewel of Mandalay Bay. Except for attending conventions, we never come this far south on the Las Vegas Strip, but we will do so again, just to eat here.

we had the meatballs and fries and chicken terriyaki at happy hour all were delicious the meatballs were the best I have ever had. we also had the chicken wings which were spicy and swwt we will definitely be back we were on our way to the wnba game the Aces agasint la we won oh yeah

We love Michael Mina’s restaurants, and this one never disappoints. We were seated in a beautiful large, cushioned booth towards the back of the restaurant which made it intimate and so nice. Were hoping for a nice, quiet intimate dinner, until we got there and realized the Raiders football game had recently ended so the restaurant was flooded with loud fans. But it was all good, and great to see so many having fun. The restaurant was totally packed, yet the service and quality of food was superb. Seems like all the waiters and staff pitch in to do one another’s job when they’re overwhelmed like this. And everything went so smooth as a result. The complimentary starter are 3 small vessels of wonderful French fries with different dipping sauces—what’s not to love about that? We had the Caesar salad, good but nothing special. Then the bone-in filet which was just superb. We were staying at the Four Seasons, and could easily access this restaurant. A great choice.

Celebrating my birthday with my sister and it is our last night in Vegas (5 days of fun and laughter!) and the steaks here did not disappoint. Our waitress was brilliant too but then we were approached by a random woman wanting to pay for our meal because its my birthday.... sounds great right? We are sceptical Brits and nothing in life is free ... apparently she is a social media influencer, how does she know its my birthday? ... she has made out to the waitress she knows us ... she does not ... all very strange and we say thanks but no thanks and then we are approached by another woman who claims to know the first woman and then says she just met her and then decides to explain that the first woman is an introvert who has been set a challenge to 'help' her overcome this 'terrible problem' it all became more and more bizarre as we sat there with random women approaching us. The waitress took our concerns seriously, the manager was called but she failed to understand ... it spoilt our last night because it was all so bizarre and felt very intrusive.

My wife and I thought this would be an ordinary steak house, but we were wrong. Absolutely great food and staff. They have one of the best wine lists I've seen. I would say that it's equal to Bern's in Tampa, but only two wine glasses in the Wine Spectator? It deserves the Grand Award. We'll be coming back in April for our Son's birthday.

I had dinner here - great food and the service was good too. The french fries they bring to every table first were sooooo good. I had the salmon and it was excellent. I would recommend reservations because the restaurant books up and its impossible to just walk in and sit down. This is one of the better restaurants in Mandalay Bay - if you are deciding between Stripsteak and Lupo, choose Stripsteak - this is much better than Lupo.

In Vegas looking for a GREAT meal... Head over to Stripsteak... You will not be disappointed, especially with the Wagyu selections.

I do believe that my steak from Strip Steak was the best one I have ever had, and I live in a city with pretty good steak. The service was top notch too. Worth the splurge.

This was one of the best steak houses as everything was cooked to perfection. Had the prime rib medium rare and it was so tender. Sides were great.

This was the worst place we ate on our entire trip. 80.00 dollar ribeye that was cooked pretty decent but wasn’t a great cut of meat. Service other than lady with water pitcher was very underwhelming but they were extremely busy and maybe it was just a off night but for 250.00 meal it was the worst 200.00 meal I’ve had to date.

74$ for a dry aged rib steak is no bargain but it was cooked to perfection. Sides are good but also a fortune ( 20 bucks for mushroom ) glass of wine for a cali cab is 30 bucks.......Its premiere steakhouse prices but the service and food quality was top notch.

Nice restaurant, staff was warm and friendly but Steven H exceeded all expectations. He was patient, explained about the food, etc.

We were seated in the main restaurant and acknowledged straight away, we ordered drinks and we were given time to look at the menu's and ask any questions. They bought us out a complimentary trio of French fries and dips to start the meal. We all chose different meals and the steaks were cooked well and flavoursome, we shared creamed potato's and asparagus. For dessert two us wanted to share the beignets but our server said the shared portion would be too much so bought out three beignets with one dessert pod of creme brulee, in hindsight I wish we had the full experience of the six beignets and three dessert pods to dip into, if the server hadn't made the choice for us then we would have had the full dessert. The meal was lovely but felt that we were guided as to what the server thought rather than giving us the informed choices, also it is an expensive meal and you want perfection when paying high end prices.

Came for dinner before our Michael Jackson ONE show. Our greeting at check-in was friendly and we were seated immediately. We weren't that hungry, so we decided to order and share....had the garden salad, the crabcake, the mashed potatoes and the 20 oz ribeye. Before our meal items arrived, we were given fries and a trio of dipping sauces....ketchup, spicy ranch and one with truffles...all delicious and the fries were just the way we like them....crispy on the outside and a little salty. The salad had the most flavourful vinaigarette on it, not overpowering. Every item in the salad was fresh. The crabcake was also excellent. The potatoes were velvetly smooth and melted in your mouth, and I cannot give enough platitudes to the steak...perfectly cooked medium, pink all the way through. Just the right amount of marbling and the mesquite wood fire came through. We were too full for dessert but will definitely get the beignets next time we come. Rachel was our waitress and you can tell she has been doing this for some time....she provided just excellent service and Victor kept our glasses filled with water and was so personable. Both Rachel and Victor have been at Stripsteak for years...that tells you something about how the establishment is run. We left Stripsteak completely full and have vowed to come back next time with a bigger appetite and grab a dessert.

You have to have the Lobster tacos appetizer! I had the filet mignon "oscar style"...I swear there was more crab meat than filet! It was so good! My wife had the bone-in Ribeye. This was the best meal of our Las Vegas visit, and we went to Bobby Flay's Mesa Grille!

Waiters “Order takers” were EH. The Wait-Staff delivery and bus service and the Food were EXCEPTIONAL. To level set. I was in town for work and dining solo. Mandalay Bay had both a Volleyball tourney and major music concert on-site. At 5 o’clock they allowed Bar & Bar area seating. 1st come/1st served. The Bar had mostly “reserved” seats so as the 2nd or 3rd person in, I took a small table Bar adjacent. I Just wanted to order dinner, eat and get out. The line to get in was long because they had a TON of reservations. It seemed like at the Bar would have been a better choice. Drink-cocktail order was taken by water/order taker (Jennifer), BUT I eventually had to ask the Manager (Ron) to help me order food. He was friendly and helpful. Told me he was New. The (2) Two waiter/order takers for the sections seemed overwhelmed as within 30 minutes the Bar/Bar areas were completely full. Wait-staff delivery (I had Omar) was swift, clean and each time he asked if I needed anything plus offered suggestions. Then the bus-service (I had Juan) was also swift and professional. He automatically refilled my water glass several times. ——-——- CUCUMBER MARTINI $20- light and refreshingly delicious. SALMON TATAKI $25- Four (4) sashimi slices with a nice flavorful slightly spicy sauce. Good. But will skip if there’s a next-time. WAGYU RIBCAP $96- Absolutely perfect! Cooked exactly how I asked. The marbling of the meat while cooked over fire took the taste and flavor to off-the-charts fantastic!Just a pinch of Sea or Himalayan salt on top. Once you try this steak you will understand why it’s the Chefs favorite cut and the Signature steak on the menu. Relatively small size but because of the appetizer Spicy fried rice plus I added the half lobster tail- they even gave some claw meat ($43-) it was more than enough. I had to pack half of it to go. SPICY FRIED RICE $16- Excellent flavor. Just the right amount of seasoning, veggies-onion and pork belly bits. Unfortunately, my Waiter/order taker Jennifer breezed by me at least a half-dozen times. Never checked in or asked about my order… eventually I waved her down because my work associate asked me to order some to-go. Then she ‘flew-off’ (and was NEVER seen again). While waiting and waiting and waiting to catch Jennifer to close out my check, I noticed the continual delivery of small cups of Fries and overhead they are truffle infused french fries. So during one of his delivery and check-on rounds to all in my section… I asked Wait-staffer Omar about them because they are not on the menu. He looked puzzled and then told me they are “complimentary”. But when I told him I was not offered any, he insisted I take some to-go and immediately packed them up for me ( I told him I was full. But he said they are a “must at least try”). Finally. At the end, I WALKED OVER to the manager (Ron) and asked him to please see me. I told him how wonderful his wait staffers (Juan and Omar) are and pointed out each table where they were delivering, doing, taking, cleaning, pouring and slightly interacting with customers…. I suggested that he take a very close look and strongly consider bumping them up (Omar to waiter/order taker and Juan to higher rank server)!!!! Then, I told him I need my to-go order and asked him to run my card to close out my bill. He apologized for any lack of service and said if I return to ask for him. Although Half of the food on my bill was To-Go, I still tipped 20% of the Total. SPECIFICALLY because of Omar and Juan.

We had an amazing experience at STRIPSTEAK. The wait staff was very friendly and informative of the menu items. Our wait time for the food was very reasonable. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly.

We had a large wedding party and everything that was brought to the table was just great. The shrimp, the salad, the steaks. Enjoyable.

Our group of 8 had a wonderful meal topped off with a special treat from a magician who was performing there for the evening. Michael Moretti was absolutely incredible. We saw him earlier in the day performing at our trade show and he recommended this restaurant. He turned a nice dinner into something memorable. Great food, wine, service and spectacular entertainment.

We were able to get in Tuesday evening without a reservation. This is exactly what we were hoping for, and more. We heard about this place from the magician at the Cosmoprof trade show that we were attending. Although our total bill was a bit pricey, it was truly worth every penny. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and helpful and the steaks were spot on. The kicker to our evening was that the magician was there and did a few tricks at our table. I've seen a few magicians in my life, but this was by far the best magic I've ever seen. If you get a chance to dine a StripSteak, make sure you ask to see the magician, you'll be absolutely stunned.

This is absolutely one of the worst places you could ever go to. They are extremely rude. Despite having reservations, they wouldn’t seat us. Avoid frustration, aggravation, and incredibly disgusting service and absence of hospitality. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

We went to this restaurant because of a recommendation. They steak is decent, but it doesn’t stand out. Steak at high end restaurants seems to taste the same to me. The sides were good (macaroni and cheese and Brussels sprouts). The drinks were great. Try the Old Fashioned. I get it. Las Vegas is pricey. But the prices at this place are outrageous and the food is quite average.

Thank you Stripsteak for a wonderful evening. I’m surprised but the negative reviews as our dinner was flawless from beginning to end. I want to give a huge shoutout to our server Jennifer. She was so kind, full of knowledge and just all around wonderful. I had the bone in ribeye and it cooked at a perfect medium rare. I also had the oysters. There was another gentleman who was super sweet named Matthew who surprised me when a bday dessert. I actually preferred the steak here over Prime. I will be back. If you’re going try to request Jennifer!

Because we were staying at Mandalay Bay, we decided to give Stripsteak a try even though we knew well advance that the prices here are quite high -- even for Vegas. But, if you know that in advance you won't be caught off-guard when you get the check. You just hope that the service and the quantity and quality of the food matches the elevated pricing. Stripsteak comes close, but does not really achieve a 'five-star' review based on our recent experience. The atmosphere is very nice once inside, and the service was first rate. The complimentary fries that you get with three dipping sauces before ordering are a nice touch, but in reality I'd rather have some fresh rolls and bread. The salads we ordered were very good, but not so big that they affected one's appetite before the main course is served. My wife ordered the seven ounce filet ($67) and I opted for the 20-ounce bone-in ribeye ($99). Those are bare bone prices, and adding a loaded baked potato ($21) or even asparagus ($18) to complete your meal really drives up the final total. My wife enjoyed her filet, and the portion was just right for her. But, the 20-ounce bone-in ribeye didn't look as big or as thick as I thought it would be. It was cooked to perfection and tasted great, but in my opinion it was over-priced by at least thirty dollars. On a positive note, the 'loaded' baked potato was excellent and almost a meal unto itself. Overall, we had an enjoyable dining experience, but I'm uncertain we would dine here again. But if the prices are not an issue, and you are guests at Mandalay Bay (or Luxor) this place is worth a try if steak is on your mind.

I do not normally provide reviews; however I have a point to make. My family and I just returned from a weekend visit in Las Vegas. Wanting to have a memorable dinner, we selected Stripsteak as it was in our hotel, and had received very good reviews on TripAdvisor. The waiters suggestions were on point, the food was excellent, my Manhattan was delicious. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end; once our main plates were served, we did not see our waiter until 20 minutes after we were finished eating. Not once did anyone check on us to see how our meal was, it was a drag to sit around with empty plates on our table for so long. Furthermore, my empty, pre-dinner cocktail glass sat on the table empty through the entire meal, the sommelier never asked if we wanted another glass of wine, just hastily took our empty bottle. I think a big contributor to the issue was that a large party was seated in the middle of our meal, they seemed to receive all the attention from the wait staff. Good food only goes so far in a restaurant like this; excellent service is required to complete a great dining experience and good value. This was the most expensive meal I have ever paid for, or that my children have experienced. Rather then feeling special, the poor service took away from our experience, leaving us feeling unimportant and that the meal was overpriced. Based on our experience, we would not return to the restaurant. If the food was not so good, I would have only given 2 stars.

Every other review of a restaurant in Mandalay Bay I left on this visit was pretty negative, but Stripsteak was an astounding success for me. I’m well aware that most high end places don’t like to deal with a solo visitor, but I was never made to feel unwelcome or that I was just taking up valuable space. Everyone was friendly, courteous and professional. This isn’t an inexpensive place. My bill for just me was about $125 with tip, and that’s without any cocktails or appetizers. I had the 8 oz Filet Mignon and the Potatoes Gratin, followed by Beignets for dessert. Let’s start off with the Potato Gratin. It’s an extraordinarily rich and wonderful experience to eat. My waitress said one of her regulars called it a “Block of Sin” and I think she’s right. I’m sure it’s a calorie laden, artery clogging side dish, but it’s just so good to taste. I could only eat part of it, so this is something yo could share with a friend. Man, it’s delicious. Before you even get your order, they bring out a set of Duck Fat Fries. Three different flavors with three dipping sauces. Some of the fries were a tad spicy, but all were delicious. It’s like someone painted crack cocaine on the edges of these fries. They’re highly addictive! The steak was better than I anticipated. Perfect texture, beautifully defiled with butter on top and just a joy to eat. I kind of want to go back and do this all over again. Finally, I topped off my experience with the Beignets, despite not really having the room. Those soft, fluffy little bakery delights come with a choice of dipping sauces - Butterscotch, Vanila Creme Brûlée or Chocolate. I went with the Vanila and loved it. I was really happy with the atmosphere, the food and particularly the service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stripsteak or to go back again.

The steaks were good though a bit pricey. Very casual and friendly and accommodating waitstaff. Had the 7oz filet, cooked perfectly.

Return visit for a special event. Prices are sky high but food is absolutely world-class. Not so good was the front desk seating folk. We turned up with a booking made 3 months earlier, and waited 15 minutes after our reserved time to be seated. So far, not too bad, we could live with that. We were then lead through the restaurant, out the back of it, down a corridor and into what looked like a soulless conference room. No windows, basic furniture and settings, two TVs like some crap sportsbar on the wall. Six or so tables and a few people eating in there, no vibe whatsoever. We refused to be seated in there. At those prices we expect to sit in the beautiful main restaurant, not some overflow room next to the washrooms. Seating host became quite aggressive and unpleasant about it, saying "well, you'll have to wait, and I have no idea how long". We said, sure, we'll wait a bit, and then go somewhere else if needed. In the event we were seated 5 minutes later and had a beautiful table and wonderful experience. Shame on StripSteak, though, for trying to palm customers off with a lesser experience. A restaurant of this calibre needs to rise above the "pack 'em, stack 'em and rack 'em" approach.

StripSteak at Mandalay Bay offers an ok ambiance; it is loud inside and its hard to hear- further, the food didn’t justify the price. Instead of bread, they serve French fries with unique dipping sauces, which were good. We shared a 20-ounce ribeye ($98), a $21 loaded baked potato, and sides. The steak arrived too rare and had to be sent back, delaying the meal. The potato was indulgent with toppings already mixed in- I would’ve liked putting them on myself. Also ordered a Caesar salad, which was way overpriced for the five pieces of lettuce you got, and a healthy order asparagus with a spicy sauce on top. The red wine at $31 a glass felt overpriced. Splitting the steak helped, but we still spent $100 per person. Good service, but overall, I expected more for the price.

While this place tries to be cool and hip. I found the open seating and high ceilings excessively noisy. It was my partners Birthday and we wanted a special dinner. For the cost $63 for Filet mignon and $58 for a pork chop $35 a glass of Cabernet and $19 for sides we expected to be wowed. Filet was good. Pork chop was dry. Wine was mediocre. We could not hear each other over the noise. Ambiance was just open and crowded. Not impressed. We had a way better experience when we went over to the Irish Pub Ri Ra.

Overall, an excellent meal highlighted by a true melt-in -your-mouth 14 oz. bone-in filet. Not a big fan of the french fries (deducted one star). A hot loaf of homemade bread is the only way to start a meal like this. I did enjoy the wedge salad and whipped potatoes. You'll drop $200 here but it's arguably worth it.

Amazing food at an underrated restaurant. The steak and sides were amazing. The pork belly rice was so good. Service was excellent. We went here because we were attending the Michael Jackson Cirque show. So glad we did.

Positives - the server was friendly and cheerful. END Negatives - a $40 foie gras that was charred and resembled my shoe - a steak for $92 that was nowhere near the quality of a higher end steakhouse. - I asked for horseradish, a thimbleful was delivered along with a $5 commensurate charge on my bill. Go to Prime at Bellagio or SW at the Wynn for quality steak

We booked reservation with Joe executive chef. They had a tasting menu which I ordered the food just kept coming the crab cake was amazing nori taco, steak tartar and cornbread like nothing I’ve ever tasted salad and candied bacon pork belly fried rice mashed potato sea bass and wagu skirt steak came with 3 desserts crème brûlée chocolate pot du cream and butterscotch pudding with caramel Hubby had the Duck fat prime rib with popover and bake potato overly rich preferred the rib eye from last visit. The piece de resistance was the final dessert with meringue with a mallet to crack open kudos to Louise our waiter Jerry expediter with explanation Sommelier and Joe for coming out to check on our meal. OUTSTANDING!

Just as awesome as ever. Great wine selection, fantastic service, rib cap steak can’t be beat. This is a place I always look forward to!

Never have reviewed until today. Booked for a group of 14 so a lot attention needed. The food was really good. Good drinks. But super slow service. High prices requires far better servers!

Just left Stripsteak at Mandalay Bay and could not go to bed without writing this review. Everything was spectacular. Incredible main dishes, sides and specialty drinks. These people take a great deal of pride in their drinks. Hats off to Ryan, Junior, and Alex for their friendly service and attention to detail. I spent the even8ng there with friends I won't see again until next year. The gang at Stripsteak made sure our time was memorable.

We enjoyed dinner here with a group of 8 and had a wonderful meal with great service! The fries with dipping sauces were a fun appetizer. My 8 oz. filet was delicious. We got several sides for the table - my favorites were the baked potato with sauce and truffle mac n cheese. One of the best meals we had in Vegas!

If money is not a problem....go there. The steak is awesome; excellent...one of the best. At least $75 for an 8 oz fillet. Wine? what about a $150 bottle as the less expensive one and then just get blown away by $1,500 to more than $2,000 others. We ordered a glass of $30 .... it was soooo good; but expensive. As stated, if you have the $$$ go for it. Try the mushrooms on the side...out of this world.

We really wanted to treat customers to a nice meal while at a convention. The ambiance is mid-range restaurant-ish; open-air and lacking in (again) ambiance, in general. The service was slow, but that was okay. The wine (we ordered two bottles of a pinot from Willamette) was overpriced. Believe me, I know. It was $128/bottle. But, then again, we were entertaining. And, the wine was indeed good. The steaks were good, too. My real problem was in being able to have conversation. The place (as mentioned) is open-air and sound carried terribly. We were also so packed in that I couldn't set my seat back to get out without hitting the person behind me (and I am a slight person). All conversation (from tables, etc.) over-rode each other and that limited our contact/conversation with those at our own table. Highlight: Good wine (although overpriced) Lowlight: Not being able to hear people at my own table -

Honestly the best steak we have ever eaten . Melt in your mouth Wagyu and the same for the normal fillet . Efficient cooked well , wine very expensive and restaurant was very busy . Would recommend to anyone but suggest you book in advance . Will be back

This used to be great...now a huge, expensive disappointment. The minute we walked in there was such a cacophony of noise that we could not hear each other. We were seated near enough to another table that two of us couldn't move our chairs. We ordered from a limited menu and many items that were previously good have been changed for the worse. We ordered several apps and cocktails and when they were consumed we were left for a long time with empty dishes, plates and glasses until we finally asked them to be removed. BFs "rib eye" steak was about 1/4 of an inch thin and pure gristle! Other couple's steak was ordered medium but served rare plus so they sent it back and waited. No apology or concession was offered for that inconvenience. I ordered a pear martini but was given a lemon drop type of martini by mistake. I took a sip of it and thought it was okay and just figured it was what I ordered, but then they told me my drink was a mistake and took it away and brought a replacement that was less than half full, (instead of leaving it? why?) The lights didn't come on in the ladies room even though I tinkered with the switch. The good? The employees are friendly and beignets are good. Who cares? This place is a tourist trap. Don't fall for it. That was my last visit.

Excellent Service the Steak was to die for, the Manager came to our table and was very engaging. All the drinks tried were unique and delivered.

I was really hungry and couldn’t find another restaurant in Mandalay Bay that matched what I was looking for in terms of food quality and reasonable prices, so I ended dining at Stripsteak. I sat at the bar, while the service started off well, it quickly declined. My salad arrived first, but it was underwhelming, mostly just lettuce with very little else. On the bright side, the complimentary fries with dipping sauces which were delicious and one of the very few highlights of the meal. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. The bartender never brought me cutlery and didn’t check in to ask how my meal was. As for the main course, the $79 filet mignon was undercooked and overly salty, a huge letdown for such a high price point. It’s clear the kitchen staff struggled to properly cook a steak, which is disappointing for a place known as a steakhouse. If you think the steak at Stripsteak is amazing, you probably haven’t had a truly great one! I will never again visit Stripsteak, nor will I recommend to friends and travelers.

The last three years we stayed in Las Vegas stopped at Strip steak for Happy Hour bites and drinks. Our schedule did not permit us to attend dinner there. The menu only had about 6 things on it but everything we tried was very good. This time we sat at the bar for eats and drinks. The head bar tender has a special drink that only he makes. Yum ! I think all the head bar tenders everywhere have a special drink? We can't wait to go back for dinner as I hear it is very good. Oh, The bathroom only fits one person !

We sat at the bar and had great service. The bartender gave us great advice on the menu selections. But one appetizer and one steak (we usually share meals because we are not big eater) with a few drinks should not cost $160.00 plus tip.

Away on business once a year and plan 1 upscale meal per visit. Staying at Mandalay Bay, the decision was easily made to visit StripSteak. We were a party of eight and were promptly seated at our reserved time. Our waitress, I wish I caught her name, was amazing throughout our entire dining experience. After many questions to our waitress, I decided that the SIGNATURE Strip Steak it would be. Complimentary appetizer, salads and soups were all delivered and cleared promptly. Our meals were delivered by food runners but our server was right behind to check on everything. All was pretty perfect until I started cutting into my SIGNATURE steak. I looked to confirm the knife I was using was indeed a steak knife because the pressure needed to slice this piece of beef was puzzling. I then sliced from the opposite end of the cut to see if it was the end or the whole cut. It was the whole cut that was so tough and chewy along with the long vein sticking out, I couldn’t believe it, yes, a breakfast steak was served to me in a high end steakhouse in Las Vegas. I was so disappointed, I couldn’t believe it. For full disclosure, the other steaks and seafood served were very good and the dessert was to die for. To sum it up, to have a high end restaurant in a high end hotel on the strip in Las Vegas and call it StripSteak to serve a vein steak for over 60.00 absolutely amazing to me. With so many choices that diners have at their fingertips in Las Vegas, this was a big disappointment. I hope the chef makes food cost bonus this month.
Good service
The food had so much salt I could barely eat it. The waitress was good. The price point is way too high for the quality of the experience. I do not recommend
