Had a large group so set it up with Carol who did a great job. We reserved the deck, shaded and nice views. We had a buffet set up with everything we needed, 3 meats, sides, and pecan pie. Jose was our server, and was spectacular, easily keeping up with my large group’s needs. Drinks were cold and well prepared. Food was so good, and plentiful, looking forward to next visit!

BBQ all you can eat because it was all we could eat! Large portions. Excellent BBQ, fried okra and onion rings. Good Mac and Cheese. Reasonably priced. Just across the street from the Hotel Indigo and down the street from a Holiday Inn Express.

The server was absolutely the best guy in town! He was attentive, answered all of our questions, AND when I asked about getting a jar of their pickled peppers and onion mixture to go, he went over and beyond to get it for us. Unfortunately since we were airplane people, this was not to be! But what a wonderful guy! The brisket was the best I have ever had..and I am a fan favorite of Everett and Jones BBQ in Oakland. My wife had the pork ribs which were fantastic, along with their collard greens!! We dropped in for music a couple of nights later with a warm welcome. Great band, unfortunately the sound board was a disaster and we left earlier than intended because of the very bad quality of sound.

This place was just one block down from the hotel. Went on a quiet night and got seated right away. Wait-staff took a bit, but once we got rolling, the food kept coming and it was delicious! Will return on my next trip.

My friends and I attended their Sunday Gospel brunch. We paid a little extra for a “stage view seat” which I do not regret. The band asked for members of the audience to come on stage to sing one or two at a time, although there was not any pressure. People enjoyed that one song. The food was mediocre. This was surprising since Stubbs is one of those restaurants on the list of great Barbeque restaurants - I couldn’t disagree more. I’ve had much better Barbeque in New Jersey. Do a little research and find a better restaurant.

I had early dinner at Stubbs (Austin TX) a couple days ago. The beef brisket and spareribs taste good as did the sides fried okra and collard greens. I was surprised at how fast the food was served. My only complaint was that the beer and most especially wine prices were a bit high for the area. $11-13 for a glass of house/common wine. I didn't hang around for the live band, though it was nice to hear them warm-up.

If you love meat, this is a place to go check out, they have all you can eat specials as well as menu choices, the food was great, as were the sides, the onion rings were huge! Well worth paying a visit!

A few tips, parking downtown can be really hard to come by so jump on a bike or ride share/taxi if you can. Also, Stubb’s can be rented for private parties so check in with the website for upcoming closures so you can plan you visit. I tried the fried green tomatoes, smoked pork ribs, coleslaw and pinto beans. The fried tomatoes were covered in a crispy corn meal and the sauce for dipping was really good. The meat was fall off the bone as you would expect but the star of the show was the generous bowl of pinto beans. Yum. There is a lot more to Stubb’s than just a dining room, there is the adjacent outdoor stage for concerts as well as a beverage room. You could potentially spent the majority of your evening here. Various Stubb’s souvenirs like ball caps, t-shirts and hoodies are for sale at the front desk.

I was extremely disappointed by the food here. The cornbread was so dry that I couldn’t even eat and the bbq was a 2 out of 5 at best. The bbq sauce was the best thing and has to be smothered on everything to make it taste better.

Perfect Service, recommendation! Chose Stubb‘s Major plate with pork ribs, pulled pork and angus beef.

Wow - this place kicks Franklin’s in the butt! Great BBQ plate for about same price, but with two excellent sides- I had sweet patater fries an d onion rings - topped off my meal with great peach cobbler... gotta try it!! Too bad I don’t live in Austin - I would be a regular! ! Service great, too and no long lines.

Amazing food, great portions, friendly staff & great variety! Tasty, highly recommend visiting! Visited twice, once for just a few drinks & second time for food & drinks. We loved the fact that when we had food they gave us water straight away, which was needed because it was very warm! 10/10 from us

Dallas Ft Worth residents FULLY give Stubbs a five star rating! Everything was perfect, great iced tea, smoked chicken, even the BBQ sauce in the squirt bottle on the table was perfect. We all 4 loved the food, even our picky Mac & cheese teen liked it, big cheesy shells! Super nice waiter named Carlos. I got the nachos appetizer for lunch & we all nibbled off of it (they all ordered meat plates) & still left some behind

Great location for things to do afterwards on 6th St. We got the 3 meat 2 side plate to share. Big portions and food comes out quickly. Chose the chopped brisket, smoked turkey & jalapeno cheddar sausage. Potatoe salad & slaw for sides. Chopped brisket ok, turkey and sausage excellent, also had ribs from other couples plate and they were really good. Potatoe salad verybgood and slaw not that great. Price was actually better than I expected. $23 for plate and 2 waters. Service was A+.

Stopped in for dinner and had the BBQ plate. Brisket was the tenderest I have had, and the sauce was very good. I didn't care for the coleslaw, but the mac 'n cheese was super creamy and good. The atmosphere is fun and busy, with people of all ages enjoying a meal. I thought it was a bit pricey, but would recommend it for the BBQ if you are in the area.

This place is fantastic the food is good the property is amazing and can hold really huge parties with thousands of people I was here for a conference and I would guess we had probably 1,500 people at Stubbs for private event they have a big stage for a band with a line dancing the brisket was fabulous everything about this was a great event now I would not want to be here in the middle of summer because you'll sweat to death because it's mostly outside without coverings but there are some indoor spaces

Tried the brisket and didn't meet my expectations. Unfortunately it was also served too cold to be appreciated. Personnel not really friendly and rather pushy to force us to leave the table. I'd look elsewhere.

Very good BBQ. They offer a super large platters with lots of selections. I was rather hungry but did not finish it. Also offer refills. Well worth the experience. Do not invite your cardiologist along.. Service was excellent (we came early the place was not busy). My understanding is that it gets quite hectic latter.

Very good service, delicious bbq beef and pork. Very reasonable kids menu. Fun atmosphere within walking distance to Capitol building

Good bbq dinner. We had brisket sandwiches -each with two side. A little disappointed with the whole experience as there were very few people in the restaurant and servers were hanging out at the bar. This was a Monday night -probably a slow day but the place seemed to lack ambience.food was ok…slaw was ok, fries were great.not sure I would return as we’ve had better.

I choose Stubb's because I see their sauce at my local store. I eat BBQ at Franchises like City BBQ and I guess I expected better quality. The meat tasted good but it was luke warm at best served on a cold metal tray. The coleslaw looked pretty but it was cabbage with a little mayo. The Mac and cheese tasted like velveeta out of a box. They serve it with a slice of Bread right out of the bag. At least toast it PLEASE. Very underwhelming. Maybe I'm spoiled but it was barely okay. It is an interesting environment and it looks like a good place for a concert and a beer. As far as the food, eh...

We waited for our table about 15 minutes, but after order was taken , received our food within 10 minutes! Fast, correct and Hot. They have a lower area near the restrooms and pool table that has Live Music Concerts, but charge extra $12 each. You can easily Hear the music if you stand upstairs overlooking stage below, next to Bar. Not too noisy in back room where we were seated. Service was great and fast! Brisket was good. Only problem was Parking, good luck! $10 in local lots.

Super disappointed with the Gospel Brunch after being really excited to go. We arrived to a 10 minute queue to get in. The singing was already underway when we did eventually get seated. Then we were directed to the buffet bbq outside a few minutes later where we queued another 15 mins to load our trays with our food choices - I personally felt this was quite restrictive with only an array of ‘golden’ food. We finally sat down with our ‘very average’ brunch and were just starting to really get into the music, only for it to about 20-30 minutes later, start wrapping up! We noticed the servers coming around with everyone’s checks??? We queried if that was literally it… we’d been in there 50 minutes total, with a chunk of this time queuing outside for our food. Total disbelief and disappointment does not cover it. The only saving Grace was the musicians. The drinks were overpriced and very average, as was the food included in the $46 price tag. We really did not get time to relax and enjoy things before we were being rushed out. Totally not worth the money given the extremely limited time you get & this is not explained anywhere on their website or booking experience. Don’t do it!

Since I buy their sauce in my grocery store, I figured they’d be a big operation that feels like a chain. Nope! It looks like any other hole in the wall you’d come across. They have cool decor: local-style concert posters on the wall. Obviously, I love their sauce. I got an entree with 2 sides and swapped the TX toast for cornbread. It wasn’t noted on the menu that the cornbread had jalapeños in it, but it was great! As was the fried okra.

We visited Stubs with some family and friends and it didn’t disappoint. Their brisket bbq was awesome and I had fried okra for the first time and it was very good.

We visaited Stubbs this Sunday for a performance of Houston based Disciples of Christ. A Gospel band of five lady singers, and three msuicians.. They were great.. Stubbs had laid out a great Sunday BBQ buffet. Best offer.. Beef Brisket!!

Called by for a late lunch last Thursday . Ordered fried green tomatoes and the two meat combo. The tomatoes were just dry and the coating too. The brisket was dry and the mac and cheese was not mac and cheese but pasta shells and cheese and the mashed potatoes with cream gravy had a tiny spoonful of gravy if you searched for it. The sausage was OK but everything was semi cold. Don’t bother visiting here but go just around the block to La Barbecue which is a different class and cheaper.

We booked ourselves in for Sunday gospel brunch at this large BBQ plus music venue. We were quickly ushered to our table with stage view. A brunch buffet was available pretty much straight away - lots of choices even for my vegetarian husband. The food itself wasn't that good - below average taste and lukewarm. The brisket I quite enjoyed though that too probably wasn't the best. Fruit salad tasted good, however. The gospel performance was enjoyable though arguably it felt a tad commercial and routine. Some audience participation involved including public singing! Service was friendly but rushed. Great one-off experience and I 'm glad we went but I probably wouldn't do it a second time. Stubbs itself feels touristy; however, if I had known in advance that Kurt Vile was playing there that very night I would have extended our trip by a day to check out Stubbs by night.

We had a very decent meal at Stubbs, but you felt as if you were part of a sausage machine. Perhaps it was because they were very busy and wanted to keep the tables turning over. Service was a bit sluggish and the food was good, but to be frank not brilliant.

We met a client last week for business and grabbed a quick lunch at Stubbs. Went on a Thursday around 1230 but it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Between the 4 of us we tried the brisket, turkey, and chicken. All were delicious and none required sauce. For sides we tried the potato salad, okra, and mashed potatoes. Again, all were good. The fried okra was some of the best I had in a long time. The only downside was the music volume which was a bit too loud for an afternoon lunch but it wouldn't keep us from coming back. We would probably just ask for a table away from the speaker. Thank you!

Several times a year to Austin, I made this my routine stop right after landing at AUS airport. The meats were always tender and flavorful in an old wild west Texas style setting. Normally I would order a combo with 2 or 3 meats. This lunch portion would last me until next breakfast LOL so eat slowly and enjoy.

We'd heard that the BBQ in Austin is among the best, so our host took us to Stubb's for a memorable meal. I ordered the Stubb's Minor: 2 meats and 2 vegetables. The ribs were finger-licking good, and the wonderful brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork. My two vegetables were pinto beans and collard greens, both prepared and seasoned perfectly. When we return to Austin, we'll definitely return to Stubb's!

Cool vibe in this place with live music inside and out after 8 p.m. on this Thursday October evening. We were a group of 6, so we were seated outdoors upstairs — the patio was being heated when we arrived, but the heaters were turned off and it became cool quick. But the extra space was nice! The service was okay, you could tell the guy was stressed and rushed... so although he’d check in, he didn’t stay long enough to ensure nothing was really missing. I enjoyed the brisket and ribs, but having been to Kansas, I was expecting more gooey BBQ. I like my sauce! Personal preference! Getting to choose two sides of the many options was great; the sweet potato mash and coleslaw were good — actually too much to finish. Not sure I would wait the hour in the future for BBQ at Stubbs.

Like most trips to Texas, with all due respect to Texas, the search you great bbq continues. The brisket is mediocre, mac and cheese pathetic, etc. Might be fun place for beer with a crowd, but don't go specifically for the food. I'm being very generous with average, can easily cook better at home.

Stopped in for lunch on a recent trip and enjoyed a bite to eat at the bar. Service was great and the good was good. Had the pulled pork and a local cider, the side of spinach had a bit of a kick to it.

Great spot. Excellent service. Super helpful staff helped with order. Salad was fresh and brisket oozing with flavour.

this is a great place right downtown, with plenty of atmosphere and excellent BBQ. Plus, there's an outside area that hosts concerts.

I had the brisket and ribs. It was so delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive. We were sat for lunch right away on a Saturday.

Delicious food and great service. I had the 2 meat meal and had way more food then I could handle. Like most BBQ places it came with great tasting sides, but the meat was the real star!

For my first trip to Texas, this was a great place for brisket! Fun vibe, live music and knowledgeable servers. Even the coleslaw was delicious!

I visited three BBQ joints within walking distance of Hilton downtown. Stubbs was my second favorite. Nothing particularly wrong with Stubbs, it was a flavor thing which is subjective. Service was good

Had heard good things about this place and just eaten there tonight. Very quick service and the beers were good but the food (brisket and ribs) were pretty ordinary. Portion size OK but used to bigger in the US. Mac and cheese probably the best part of the meal and as I’m here for a few days I hope to find better.

it was a UT social event so not sit down service. but brisket they put out was delicious! smoke turkey was a little dry. BBQ is good; sweet and tangy, goes well with brisket. Coleslaw was good as well - nothing fancy, kinda plain but fresh.

Stubbs you did not disappoint! We ordered the brisket nachos as an appetizer along with some beer. The nachos were loaded with creamy queso, pickled jalapeños, beans and brisket. Absolutely delicious! I highly recommend ordering it. We then ordered the 2 meat plate with Mac n cheese and Serrano cheese spinach. WOW! The meat was so tender and tasty with a beautiful smoke ring on the brisket and the meat on the ribs were tender throughout. The Mac n cheese was creamy and had a fabulous taste to it. So for the spinach……yum! Yum! It tasted a lot like a cheesy spinach dip. It wasn’t too spicy, just perfect. I loved how the sides complimented our meat choices perfectly. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. Not for a second did we have dirty plates waiting to be picked up. They were on it. This was our first Austin BBQ meal on this trip. It’s going to be hard to beat this one. Stay tuned…..

We went to Stubb's while in Austin for an overnight stay on a long road trip. During our almost month on the road we went to many different restaurants and this one will be one of our best memories. The history, service, food and drinks were all great. One of my biggest loves is good Fried Green tomatoes. Their's were beyond good. The ribs were super tender, with a great flavor. Our server was fast, professional and friendly. We will definitely go back to Stubb's next time we visit Austin.

We love the brisket and the ribs and finally the sides. We like the ambience. We went for lunch but it looks like the place will get lively in the afternoon.

Excellent bbq ! Melt in your mouth brisket ! Stubbs bbq sauce on the table. Loved the Serrano spinach. We had 2 meat plates and could not finish the portions, really great value too. Our waiter Carlos was brilliant, got me a beer on the sly from the wife and had a long discussion with us about bbq, great guy !

Took bartender's recommendation for the Stubb's Minor to experience two meats, in my case brisket and pulled pork. Melt in the mouth plus two sides plus bread for 19 bucks. Better than Cooper's and no wait for hours.

We went for lunch. There was no line and no one in the restaurant. I tried ordering the meat by the pound like every other bbq place in Texas. Was told in a slight condescending tone that bbq is ordered by the plates. We ordered the three meat plat which consisted of two ribs, five slices of brisket, and a quarter sausage. All meat were fine but nothing special. Plate was 30$. With other choices, probably will not be back.

Sat at the bar to eat. Great server working the bar, with great beer recommends. Had the smoked chicken with mac and cheese and salad. Large portions with reasonable prices.

The service was alright. Was told to stand downstairs and wait for a table, which was fine, but the side room smells like dead mice. Cool history for the place, but it needs some work. We were at a back table by the bar, it was way squooshed with the people at the bar. The Jalapeño poppers were dang good, sausage was good, but it was the worst Mac and cheese and brisket I have ever had. Mac and Cheese was a puddle over cooked slime, and the brisket was just dry. Pretty disappointing. Felt rushed out of there too. Over all, drinks and food are way over priced and over cooked.

Stubb’s was a good choice while in Austin with a close friend. Great brisket and ribs, fast service, friendly waiter, and much enjoyed. The building and grounds take up almost an entire block along the river and they have their own amphitheater with lots of history of great shows. I’d certainly eat here again.

Stubb's earns it's reputation. Service and food was incredible. I ordered the 2 meat dinner with fries and macaroni and cheese. All of it was delicious and the beer selection was exceptional.

The food and service were just average here at a late lunch visit. Meat was a bit dry. We were there during a water advisory, so my margarita, which normally would have been in a mason jar was served in a small plastic cup, but was still the regular price. The music venue seems to be the main draw here as we walked by in the evenings and it was packed.

Split a Stubb's Major between two of us for lunch and it was more than enough food. Had Brisket, Pulled Pork and Turkey. OMG the Brisket was AMAZING! Had the mashed sweet potatoes - delicious! And the onion rings - huge! Everything was so good! Definitely recommend!

BBQ was ok, not outstanding. The service was terrific for our large group and we did have a good time.

Very, very good food with the best part actually being the sides. Mac and cheese to die for. Incredible spinach with cheese. My wife loved the coleslaw. It is not cheap but tasty and you don’t have to wait like this Franklin place down the road. The sandwiches we had were filling with plenty of meat. Service was good too. Highly recommend

Brisket sandwich was Smokey and delicious! Good smoke ring and passes the bend test. Service was fast and friendly I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I have always enjoyed Stubb's sauce so we had to try the restaurant while in Austin. We were not disappointed. We had large amounts of great tasting brisket and ribs and plenty of tasty sides.

Stubbs is a well-known BBQ Sauce, I can buy it here in London. In fact I do buy it in London and had no idea there was also the restaurant/s in Austin. Turned out we had an after Conference event there and the BBQ was excellent. Brisket won the day but also the Turkey was really great.

Sunday Gospel breakfast at Stubb’s!! The way to get your morning right on a Sunday! Excellent musicians. Great Stubb’s food.

Very nice interior of the restaurant. Service was good. Food was hit and miss. Brisket was disappointing and dry. Had to baste it in the bbq sauce to get a little moisture in the meat. Ribs were excellent as was the Serrano Spinach(as others have identified). Portions were large and generous. Prices were about what I expected (almost $20 for 2-meat combo plate). BBQ sauce - only one choice and I find it to be average. As a BBQ lover...honestly, I was disappointed. I don’t think I’d return because there are better options in Austin.

We wanted to have authentic smoked brisket while in Austin. We found this restaurant on a list we acquired from the desk and decided to try it. It did not disappoint! The brisket wast tender and flavorful and the sides generous. Of course the bar-b-que sauce was Stubbs original. They also have a large music venue inside and out which is very popular

Very good BBQ , we had brisket, most pieces were good, 1 or 2 a bit less tender. We ordered chicken wings that were excellent. Service excellent as well Mariah was great.

If you come to Austin to experience BBQ you must MUST did I say Must stop to sample Stubbs BBQ. It was a beautiful October Sunday Evening so We decided to listen to the Band Outdoors. So we totally enjoyed the three staples of a autumn visit to Austin music Sunshine and BBQ. No Wait at 500PM . We had the “miners “ sample 2 meats and 2 sides. So we got to sample /share 4 meats and 4 sides apiece. All were DELICIOUS. We had smoked turkey, pulled pork , ribs and brisket. You added your own sauce . If I had no other reason to visit Austin I would come to sample Stubbs BBQ

After waiting nearly an hour for Franklin's BBQ, we caved and came here. Was quiet, not crowded and the meal delivered as promised. Plain Jane, unexciting, average BBQ I could have had anywhere in America. Seems like a corporate sell out with no passion.

My wife and I had lunch here and it was great. We don’t have much experience with American BBQ and the staff answered all our questions and made helpful suggestions. The food was really nice and the price was good - couldn’t ask for more!

After a show we wondered over to Stubb's for a late dinner. The music is different every night, but it was jazzy and wonderful when we arrived. If you just want to enjoy the music and have a few drinks there's a $10 cover charge, but if you sit for dinner the $10 is waived. Subb's offers an all you can eat, family style barbecue, which looked awesome, but owing to the time, we settled for sandwich angus beef and pulled pork sandwich plates, which, with two sides, was more than enough food. This is the place if you're looking for a reasonably priced meal downtown.

Touristy. Food and service good. The place has a lot of character based on its long history. The BBQ is ok and location very accessible to downtown. The service is attentive, but very touristy with non-genuine “hey buddy” approach. If you are into BBQ there are a lot of great places in Austin. For this one the big plus was more the location and history.

I've had a lot of BBQ over the years and this might be my favorite. The flavor of the pulled pork I ordered was phenomenal. I LOVED the sauce and my friend told me I can purchase it in the grocery store, so I will definitely be on the look-out! Excellent coleslaw and fried okra as well. The only downside was that a large group of guys (I think a bachelor party?) was seated near our table and they were extremely loud and disruptive. I would have appreciated if we had been offered a different table as they made it hard to hear each other.

When we walked in the hostess told us it would be 45 minutes for a party of three and acted like she had wished we had left. Bar was busy and we went to the back. There was a VIP section and they were setting up for a band later on. I asked the attendant if I could just take a quick look and there we no patrons there yet. He was very rude and said there was no way. Yet, 5 minutes later, he let some others in to look around. Total power trip. Waiter took 10 minutes to get to the table with water. He took 10 more minutes to come back for the ordered. The Mac and cheese were small shells with creamy cheese sauce and collards had so much pepper it was hard to eat. The ribs were are bone. The highlight was cold Lone Star and average brisket with lots of sauce to make it better. Some might fine this the best Texas BBQ but I think there must be better choices in Austin.

Made reservations for the Sunday Gospel Brunch. Tickets are about $50pp. We were not able to choose our seats ahead of time - hostess sat us on the lower level directly in front of the stage. The first thing we notice is a giant water bug / roach on the floor right next to our table. A lady next to us quickly stomped on it to make sure it was dead. Warning: music is very loud on the lower lever so table talk is virtually impossible. Waitress came almost immediately to take our drink orders - I ordered a Peach Sweet Tea (alcoholic beverage) - drink was very citrusy, not very good, did not finish it. Buffet included a limited variety of options: spinach enchiladas (decent), skillet potatoes w/peppers & onions (bland), egg casserole topped w/ tortilla chips (awful), drop biscuits & gravy (decent), fried catfish nuggets (very good), bacon (over cooked), Mac-n-cheese (awful, cheese was runny liquid), smoked chicken (pretty good, better w/ Stubbs bbq sauce), smoked sausage (best thing we had). Overall, service was just okay, food is mediocre at best and definitely not worth the money. The singing group was good, very enthusiastic and crowd-oriented. Definitely paying for the experience itself. Save your money and get better bbq elsewhere.

Sunday Brunch hard to beat! All protein was excellent, especially the Brisket. Sunday Brunch comes with Gospel music very good. the sample platter can't be beat, brisket, chicken, ribs, sausage, wow. Best BBQ in Texas!

We had a massive, mid-day lunch here. I personally got three different meats and two sides and I can vouch that everything was good. Beware that the soda comes in a glass the size of a bucket!

We stopped here because we enjoy the Stubbs BBQ sauce we purchase locally. The meat portions were generous and tasty, although I had expected it to have more of a smoke flavor. The brisket was not fatty at all. Two meals with soft drinks was around $50, but we both had enough for an additional meal. We planned to purchase a $20 t-shirt, but they did not have the ones we liked in stock.

We came here after researching the better BBQ spots in town and weren’t disappointed. The chicken has that Smokey flavor like Sunny’s down south if you ever ate there. Service was good as well as the atmosphere. Portions were huge so don’t over order. Brisket also melted in your mouth.

If you are looking for good BBQ in a simple old place, Stubb’s is the spot. We ate at the bar and really enjoyed chatting with the bartender. The brisket was delicious and the Mac and cheese was so good! We went for lunch and didn’t have to wait at all. Great setting, nice staff and delicious food!

We went to eat dinner on Sunday night. There was an big issue with eating dinner at the bar and waiting for a table. Our group was very disappointed, but Mike, the manager, made it right. We appreciated his diligence in making our group dinner a great one. In terms of dinner, from appetizers (stuffed jalapeños, potatoes, fried green tomatoes) drinks, and BBQ - we loved it all.

Another successful day of learning at TASSP Conference in Austin, Texas, and well I didn't want to drive the huge SUV I had, and BBQ was close to me so the front desk clerk sent me to Stubbs across the street from the hotel that I was staying at for the week. The restaurant is located on the corner and you can park on the side streets yet if it's busy, I see this as a problem for anyone. As you enter, you can see its a beautiful BBQ bar motif very western. The restaurant has 2 floors and you can find the restrooms on the 1st floor. My server Dafne was very nice and helpful. Well when I saw all you can eat, insert Homer Simpson voice and drule "all you can eat..," THAT was the order. They offer you different cuts but you choose 4 out 7 meats and 3 sides. Those 4 are the all you can eat only not all 7. The food arrived quick but make time to see the stage and other sets ups on the 1st floor. The brisket was dry, no bueno, and hard disappointed with that. The sausage was awesome with jalapeños. You can taste the rub on the ribs and chicken was good. The okra rocked fresh to the table and fries needed salt. The quality was good and my inner Homer Simpson kept drooling while waiting for a crane to pick up my fat body from the chair. The price was $39.95 plus a good tip for my server. I would visit again yet not get brisket I would get the chop.

My friends and I went for the gospel brunch and loved it. The Levites were fantastic! So talented and fun. I wasn't expecting much of a food experience based on prior reviews, but I was really pleasantly surprised. The brisket was amazing as was the chicken and the sausage. The mac and cheese was great, too. The biscuit was good but not the best ever. There was also a whole tray of eggs, bacon and potatoes we didn't even touch. Would have loved to see some collard greens but that was the only thing missing. This was so well worth the money and you won't leave hungry.

This was the fourth stop on our barbecue walking tour. The barbecue beef was so trendy and tasty; however, the place had nothing to it….Saturday afternoon and no vibe whatsoever….I know they have live music outside, but I didn’t hear any going on. I guess I expected more…..but it was still good and a must stop.

we heard this was the place to go for BBQ in Austin from more than one person. they were wrong. admittedly, we did not hear any music that night but we were not there for the music. the service was OK- not all that friendly but not rude either. the food was OK - brisket and sausages were dry, but not bad. the atmosphere was OK. the sauce was OK but the sides were disappointing. the place was OK - not bad, just not nearly as good as we were lead to expect. don't go out of your way but if you're across the street...

Two meals purchased, both very tasty & good portions. Pulled pork burger delicious. Onion rings scrumptious but not very hot. Too full for pudding

We went with big expectations but unfortunately they missed the mark.To be fair, my wife had the smoked turkey sandwich. It was a solid yes. The Serrano queso spinach was a solid yes. However, we went to eat ribs and brisket… Texas BBQ. Maybe I had a bad batch. The smoke and char was good on brisket, the crust on ribs was decent. However, super fatty on both making them just mediocre at best. I probably would have given them a 2 star if the server had seemed to have even given a s$@t when I showed her how fatty they were. You could tell my concerns went in one ear and out the other. After I told/showed her the issue, she retreated to only bring the check a couple minutes later and drop it at table, it was apparent she didn’t know how to handle an issue like this. Her tip reflected this non-caring attitude. She could have at least given some fake lip service but she didn’t and her tip will tell her to next time maybe try to show some regard for a customers complaint. BBQ isn’t cheap and in Texas, you better be pretty good at it. Anyways, they get a 1 and done as we won’t go back as there are plenty of good/great bbq joints around. Stubbs, stubbed their toe tonight for sure,

The service was good. The advertised homemade sausage tasted good. Unfortunately, it was served unpeeled with a tough skin. The onion rings are not recommended. The prices listed on Tripadvisor are from 2012.

Legendary bbq in Central downtown with great service and reasonable wait times . I was looking to get some Barbecue before I went home and didn't have time to wait 2 hours for franklin, so i was able to sit down and eat in 45 minutes at stubbs. Chopped brisket and ribs had great flavor. The mac and cheese , mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries were all amazing, makes me ready to come back for more and try since other items.

There's plenty of BBQ options in Austin, and Stubbs is often recommended. I went on business in a large party, and the food while good wasn't great. There's a big outdoor area and the music here is great, so I'd recommend this for large parties.

The gospel brunch was a trip highlight! We had a view of the band (The Spiritualettes) and they had us on our feet! The menu was extensive and delicious! (The chorizo eggs were particularly good). The crowd had people of all ages, the wait staff was friendly and helpful and everyone had a great time!

A group of us went here for an early dinner and were not disappointed. Stubbs always seems to rank in the top 2 places to eat in Austin and for good reason. We all had the two or three meat plates. The chicken, turkey, brisket and pork ribs were all amazing. the Pork ribs and brisket being the best by far. You can pick you sides and the food comes out very quickly. A must if you are in Austin

This was one of my family’s best meals while we were in Austin for a long weekend. We wanted some barbecue and decided to try the Sunday gospel brunch. We showed up without a reservation and they were so kind and accommodating and found us a great table outside. All of the food was amazing. There was a huge variety of breakfast foods, Southern food, barbecue and desserts for a reasonable price. We sat outside on the patio which was very relaxing and we could hear the gospel music without it being too loud. Great service as well. Honestly, you could have rolled me out of there – it was delicious!

Fairly good spot for BBQ in downtown Austin. We got right in on a Thursday night and each of us ordered two minor platters. I had brisket and turkey. The turkey was outstanding. The brisket was okay. Mac and Cheese and potato salad sides were good. Get the corn bred it is worth it.

My wife and I were familiar with Stubb’s because of the barbecue sauce being available at our local grocery store. We were excited to try the restaurant when we visited the Austin area, and our high expectations were exceeded. It was easily one of the best barbecue restaurants we have ever been to. The food was delicious and the service was very good as well. We ordered the Angus Beef Brisket and Turkey Breast for our meats. They were excellent quality and prepared perfectly. For sides, we shared Mac & Cheese, Onion Rings, Serrano Cheese Spinach, and Mashed Potatoes with Cream Gravy. We also had one piece of Homemade Cornbread. All of them were very good, but I particularly enjoyed the spinach. It was a little bit spicy, but not overly hot. The cornbread had some kick from jalapenos, too, but was also not too hot. The restaurant is in an older building, but it is clean and comfortable. Our waiter was very friendly and prompt. Only the Original flavor sauce was on our table, but he brought two more (Spicy and Smokey Mesquite) when we asked for them. The Smokey Mesquite was the best, in my opinion. I thought it was neat to see that the sauce served in the restaurant was the very same as we purchased for home. The parking is rather limited, as the restaurant has no parking lot. There is on street metered parking and some parking garages are also in the area, but it is not that easy to find a spot. This was the only drawback to an otherwise great dining experience. I highly recommend Stubb’s and cannot wait for an opportunity to return.

Enjoyable meal and great atmosphere. Gets very busy so good to go early. Friendly efficienct staff and bar you can have a drink at while waiting for a table but as the evening goes on there can be a long queue on the street.

I came here for a concert a few months ago and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and the line was never long. Review by Gabriel C

Brisket was okay, nothing spectacular. The sides were good, but the fried okra was a little overdone. It was disappointing that they only had one kind of their BBQ sauce. I asked for spicy BBQ sauce, but they said that they only had it for sale. The most disappointing part was the fact that the posting on Trip Avisor was different from their menu. The prices differed by $5 to $8, and the didn't have any lunch specials, like posted. Don't know who is responsible for updating, whether Trip Advisor, or the establishment, but it was not nice to meet those surprises, especially after finding the restaurant and looking for parking, which there was none. So, don't think we would go back.

My wife is a big fan of gospel music, and I love BBQ, so this seemed like an obvious place for us to go for our last meal of the holiday. The Sunday Gospel Brunch was a brilliant experience and I’d definitely recommend it. We booked ahead by email well in advance, and just as well, as both sittings had sold out. There was a large queue outside waiting for the doors to open with everyone having already booked. We had our 10 month old son with us, and had booked a table with a view of the band. When the hostess saw us she suggested that we might prefer to have a table upstairs over the balcony where you could still see the band but it might be slightly less loud for him. This turned out to be a brilliant suggestion, as it meant only paying for a table without a view of the band (because it was upstairs) but sitting at the railing with a perfect view down onto them. I wouldn’t say it was particularly any quieter for it, and we probably should have brought his ear defenders, but the table location worked great for us. You have to go downstairs and outside to line up for the long buffet of options. I had read the menu online so knew what everything was, but my wife hadn’t and was somewhat loading her plate based on what things looked like. In theory you can go back as much as you’d like, but the size of the tray they give you as a plate made that completely unnecessary for us and we were stuffed after one plate. The brisket was great, though not amazing to come for on its own, however the BBQ sauce was very good. Note you can have all of the BBQ options (brisket, chicken, and sausage) you just have to ask - my wife was too polite when she was asked what she wanted she thought she could only pick one. Beyond the meat, there was fried catfish, spinach and cheese canneloni, biscuits and gravy, breakfast eggs and potatoes, sausage patties and bacon, refried beans and mac and cheese. To top it all off, the pecan fudge pie was incredible too. A waiter did come round to ask if we wanted any drinks (as paid extras), but there wasn’t a problem with us just having tap water. Lastly, the band were excellent and made the meal a really enjoyable experience - definitely one to check out if you’re in Austin on a Sunday.

Ate here on a Friday for lunch. The bbq meats were melt in your mouth and the kids menu was spot on for kids and only a few buck per kid. Highly recommend this place!

We went for the Sunday Gospel Brunch. Food was cold. Only 3 meat options which included brisket, chicken and sausage. Brisket cold and dry. Maybe left overs from yesterday. Scramble eggs had peppers and onions in it but very cold. Potatoes with pepper and onions very cold. Bacon was good. Service was terrible considering we came at opening time of 10:30 am. No beverages included. Not worth the money way over priced. Small glass of juice was $4.00.

This food is amazing. This is the first time on vacation that I have eaten somewhere and went back to the same trip! Brisket... amazing...... jalapeno sausage.... amazing......chicken..... amazing.....ribs, you guessed it, they were amazing. We got tons of different sides both times too and they were all delicious.

The barbecue was great tasting and arrived at the table quickly after ordering. The atmosphere was a little more laid back, possibly due to its location (not located on Congress). If you are in the mood for barbecue, I would definitely recommend this place!

I only went here one time on my trip to Austin, but I wish I had gone for every meal. I got wings and fries and they were perfect. The atmosphere is cool, and the staff was attentive and helpful. It's a short walk from downtown Austin, convenient to almost everything.

Went to see Barns Courtney and he was great, but the acoustics were really awful. Also, if they would lift the stage just a couple feet higher everyone's view would be improved. I was standing about four rows back, and still couldn't see that well. I have tickets to Blues Traveller, so I'll give this venue another go, but it was kinda disappointing.

We went to Stubbs and had an amazing brunch! The variety of food was perfect, even for the vegetarian with us! The brunch buffet was well run and organized. Although we were not sitting near the live band, we could enjoy the music and still conduct a conversation. Everything here was positive!

I highly recommend the Turkey breast. It was tender and full of flavor. The cheese and spinach was excellent!!

We made reservations for the Sunday Gospel Brunch a week in advance, but were unable to get seats with a view. It didn't matter - we could still hear the inspiring music, and we were closer to the buffet! Everything was delicious, but our favorites were the brisket and the spinach enchiladas.

This was my first visit to Texas and was told I had to eat Bar BQ. Stubb’s was conveniently located so I was able to indulge. The food was amazing. And I’ve eaten a lot in my life if not a lot of barbecue. The meats melted in my mouth and fell apart with a fork. The ribs and brisket were both tasty and the sides excellent as well. Beverages were refreshing and the service was outstanding. And dining alone I am critical of these things. I highly recommend Stubb’s as a place to dine in Austin.

I came to Stubbs for lunch while visiting Austin. I thought the place was excellent. The interior is very large with lots of different rooms. The downstairs is huge with a stage and some pool tables. It wasn’t crowded when I arrived which was good but surprising. I ordered a platter which consisted of smoked turkey, pulled pork, coleslaw and fries. The smoked turkey was outstanding. It had the perfect amount of smoke and great flavor. The pork was fine, typical pulled pork but the coleslaw and fries were excellent. My server was excellent as well. He constantly replenished my iced tea during the scorching hot day I came here. I have been to several barbecue restaurants in Austin in this has to be one of my top five favorites. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town and highly recommend checking this place out for their barbecue.

Went with a large party and had a great time. Band was great and good BBQ. Brisket and Ribs were the best! Serrano peppers on the side are a great addition. Beans and potato salad good sides. In a town that is full of barbecue joints this one holds it's own. Famous sauce!

Visited Austin this week and Stubb’s was on our ‘must-do’ list. Not a disappointment at all. Four of us and we tried the brisket and pulled pork, and had a sampling of sides! The service was excellent , the staff friendly. Checked out the amphitheater outside; would be fun to see a show there sometime!

Awesome place for a quick bite! I’ve been using the bbq sauce forever so when I saw this restaurant I had to check it out. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Austin BBQ is fantastic and this is one of the top spots in my book. I didn’t have much, it was just one of a couple spots we went to that day. But the menu had a lot of options and I’m willing to bet it’s all just as great.

My friends and I visited Austin for a weekend trip and we had lunch here one of the days. When the food got to the table it was very col. I had the short ribs and on one of the ribs, there was so much rub that the spice was unbearable.

My wife and I stopped at Stubbs for lunch. The bbq was very good. Especially liked the onion rings . I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had chicken sandwich. Both eere very good

Had a good dinner here before heading out to 6th street for the night. I had the two meat platter. The pulled pork was good, and the brisket wasn't bad. It was good, but I have had better brisket. The two sides of mac and cheese and coleslaw were both very good. The restaurant is nice and clean and has an area behind it for live music.

Good place to have good BBQ (nothing super special). Good meet, great service good location. Worth the visit

Stopped by Stubb's for lunch and got the brisket. It was fabulous and it didn't have too much sauce. If you are in Austin, make sure to stop by for the BBQ.

Went to the Gospel Brunch and it was terrific! The music and food with both great. Loved the brisket and pecan pie. Good drink selection too.

We got out of the excitement (chaos) of 6th street and landed here for dinner. What a great choice. Everyone was friendly and the BBQ was great. 3 couples, we all had a variation of 3 meat BBQ. It was all good!

We were lucky to have Stubb’s BBQ be within walking distance from our hotel. It had great barbecue and craft beer! The smoked turkey and collard greens were amazing!

I was in town for work and in a hotel near Red River St so I took a walk and came across Stubbs. Hmmm, BBQ, Texas, let's see what they have. So I went in. It was early evening so there wasn't a huge crowd and I was seated quickly. I ordered a plate with turkey, serrano cheese spinach, and onion rings. It also came with a thick slice of bread and a side dish with onion, pickles and peppers. I thought the sauce was pretty decent, The spinach was really good. I wasn't sure I would like it but I'm glad I tried it. All in all, a good meal. I topped it off with a banana pudding dessert. It's definitely a must try if you're ever in Austin.

Limited selection, but everything we ordered was good. Enjoyed the brisket and spare ribs as well as the turkey. Good selection of sides. Combo meals are a good value. The bar is noisy, but the section we ate in was quiet. Good service and enjoyed the local beer on tap.

Very good food, wonderful service and even live entertainment. Try the spinach. It is just the right amount of food

We ordered the 3-meats, 2-sides platter and shared it between my husband and I. It was the perfect amount of food for us. I was expecting to like the brisket the most but was pleasantly surprised by the tender, moist turkey instead. The turkey was my #1 of the 3 meats we tried (brisket, turkey, and pulled pork), although all of them were tasty. For sides, the mashed sweet potatoes were amazing! And my other half enjoyed the spinach with cheese. Stubb's was the only place we went for barbecue in Austin and we were not disappointed. Can't wait to go back! I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Being a HUGE bbq fan and using Stubb’s bbq sauce regularly back east, I had high expectations for their restaurant. Sat at the bar for lunch on a Saturday. Service was... meh. Food was good, but not ‘blow your mind’. Seemed like a cool knight time venue. Would love to give it a second chance.

Food quality was excellent and portion sizes were huge. All BBQ is cooked and seasoned in house, sides were southern comfort foods and were delicious. We tried several different options, all were good but the Turkey was absolutely the best, so tender and seasoned perfectly. Prices were reasonable especially for the sizes of the portions you received. Would definitely eat here again.

Lots of BBQ places to choose from. We opted to try Stubb’s and we were not disappointed. Great service and BBQ (even the salad was as described and good ranch dressing).

Great place to enjoy BBQ. Unique environment. Great service. Good prices. Will go back!! Very unique facility!

Really excellent group - and we heard what I’d call Rocking Gospel. A gospel group from Denver in the house this week. As much gospel as rock.a solid one hour show. I’m sure other groups have their own magic. Plenty of BBQ (vg brisket) and sides to choose from at the always open buffet. Seatings at 10:30 am and 12:30.

Service was good and they were friendly. BBQ was just ok, nothing special like I was hoping. Have bought a Sugar Free Stubbs sauce at home and they didn’t even have it.

Shout out to the awesome staff that made our Father's Day experience a positive one. Very well-organized, friendly, and accommodating. Also, the food is delicious! Lots of breakfast/lunch options and yummy mimosas. Not too spacious downstairs but great experience overall.

Having read many reviews of the Austin barbecue scene we were prepared for the wide range of choices available. Stubb's should not be missed. My wife and I ordered a variety of meats and sides- all of them were very good. Pork ribs and brisket were outstanding. Recommend the fried okra and mac and cheese as sides. Service was excellent. This may not be the most upscale place around, but it serves good quality barbecue with efficient and friendly service.

This restaurant did not have live music on a Tuesday night, but it was not too crowded. I was able to get free street parking just outside of the restaurant, since parking on a Tuesday night only was charged before 6:00 P.M. I ordered a barbecue chicken with macaroni and cheese and fries. It also came with pickles and onions. My meal was huge and it was delicious. The prices were fair, and the foods came out very rapidly. My stomach felt somewhat off after I forced myself to finish these big portions of food, because I was fearful to let these leftovers sit in my car. It took a while for the server to attend to my needs, especially when it came to the payment of the check.

And was not disappointed. Went for a late lunch. Brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich is what we ordered. Each meal came with 2 sides. Wife and I shared half a sandwich each. Meat was moist and tasty. The sandwich came lightly sauced which went well with both meats. Sides onion rings, coleslow, pinto beans and sweet potato fries were equally good. Wait staff did a good job with us and customers it appeared. Metered parking outside, and restaurant located near a large homeless population, so you may experience some pan handling, hence the 4 star rating.

I visited because I was looking for barbecue at lunchtime and recognized the name.We got there about 11:20 a.m. on a Thursday and there weren't a lot of customers yet. We were quickly seat and the waiter was with us almost immediately. We ordered and the food arrived quickly. Quick might be a good word to describe the service. It felt so quick that we felt rushed. Since the place wasn't half full, we felt like we could take our time. But the waiter seemed to want us out faster than we were ready. Food wise this was average fare of Texas BBQ. I had the two meat plate (brisket and pork ribs). I did ask for moist brisket, bit man, was there a lot of fat on the meat. I would say almost half the brisket was fat. And there was a decent amount of fat on the ribs (enough that I was scraping it off). My sides were okra and coleslaw. See my photo below.

needed a quick lunch. we walked a few blocks to stubb’s. sat in back. took a while to order and another wait for food. they have good bbq.

We went on a Saturday at lunch and got right in. The bbq was amazing! Highly recommend the chopped - so good I didn’t want sauce!

Basic restaurant with the most amazing food - the beef brisket just melted in the mouth and was so flavoursome . You better make sure you haven’t eaten before you visit as the portions are huge . Although a basic restaurant , the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are really friendly and helpful- it’s a great experience all round!!

Group of five hungry road trippers decided to try for dinner (totally close to our just checked in rooms at Holiday Inn Express). Expectations were low as we only had to walk half a block but we were pleasantly surprised. We had brisket, pork spare ribs and sausage. All cooked superbly and served properly on butcher paper. We found the sides selections to be extensive, interesting and very good compliments to the meat. Definitely worth a try - do it!

Very good bbq and an excellent music venue for large groups. Attended an event sponsored by an insurance company and it couldn’t have been better. The drinks, service and music were all great. The bbq brisket, sausage and potato salad were all very good. Can’t beat the atmosphere and location on 6th in Austin!

What a place to visit! Both the music and the food here are fantastic! We especially loved the whole 6th street atmosphere we saw walking over. Between the four of us we had just about every type of smoked meat offered and everyone agreed it was all delicious! Special shout-out to the onion rings, the best I've ever had! Thick, and I mean THICK, slices of onion and fried super-crunchy, they looked like watchbands, they're so thick. Our server was Jose and he was very very good. Super focused and flawless in getting our orders correct. Good food and good music, what more do you need?

Stubbs was great! I got the brisket and ribs and I do not regret it. Service was on point and if I'm back in the area I will be returning.

We went to the Sunday morning gospel brunch- the band was amazing, and the meats were delicious!! The other food was just okay, although the pie was good. Definitely book ahead of time- unfortunately we weren’t organised enough to get a ticket to the area downstairs where the band actually is, which would have been an even better experience.

My husband and a friend of his whom had recently returned from a long deployment overseas came here with myself for dinner and to see a band. Both the boys ordered drinks from the bar and, unfortunately, after being in a country where tipping is illegal for so long they forgot to tip the bar tender.. so he refused to serve them again. Even I who had ordered nothing and later went to ask for a soda was refused service. How entitled can you be to demand tips on top of your wages? I have been a server, a bartender, and a delivery driver. No tips sucks but refusing service is freaking ridiculous. Screw you Stubbs for pretending to be patriotic and refusing to serve those who CONSTANTLY SERVE YOU. At least the show was great but that was not due to Stubb's horrible establishment in any way. Even when I asked a different server when the show started she literally rolled her eyes at me. Shi**y place

There are plenty of great BBQ places in Austin. This is not one of the better ones. We didn't feel particularly welcome on arrival and our server was pretty good at ignoring us. Stubb's is quite famous, I guess but it does seem to rest on it's laurels. It's not enough to just serve decent food. However, the food is nice enough. The brisket had a few too many burnt ends for my liking but the ribs were nice and tender and my husband really enjoyed his turkey. That said, we've had better and cheaper.

We attended the Sunday gospel brunch on 1/13. The buffet was set up outside....On a cold January morning. The food, which was already cold, didn't have a chance when put on plates that had also been sitting outside. There were no signs to indicated what each pan contained and no one to help. The brisket was good. The gospel group was outstanding!

We recently came to Austin for a short visit. Stubbs was on our list of a must visit. We were greeted warmly, seated quickly. Maurice was our server. He was outstanding. The Tri-Tip was wonderful with great sides and deserts. Was worth the 2000 mile trip to be able to eat this wonderful place. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a team dinner here and it was a carnivore’s paradise. Each table had a selection of pulled pork, chicken, beef brisket and ribs. Everything was excellent and topped by their award winning sauce. We also had a huge selection of sides. There was so much food leftovers that some of our team distributed it to homeless people on way back to hotel.

The service was super friendly. We stopped for a quick lunch. Parking was $5 in the garage a few blocks away for 2 hr. or less. I wouldn’t really have wanted to park on the street. Husband and I both ordered sandwich plates that come with choice of meat and 2 sides. I got pulled pork with Mac and cheese and coleslaw. It was good but the coleslaw is not to my taste. My husband got the brisket with onion rings and mac and cheese. The rings had a unique crunchy batter and a different seasoning. Sandwiches were just the right size, juicy and flavorful. Overall, about that you’d expect from a BBQ joint and a cool atmosphere.

Make a reservation early and pick the 10:30am or 12:30pm time slot. We did the 12:30 and were seated in a great seat downstairs. You go in the next room and serve yourself some really tasty food! I really recommend hitting the carving station which also had excellent bbq chicken legs and sausage. There is something for everyone, as well as a make your own Bloody Mary bar. The gospel band brought down the house... very talented, and we were able to participate with little tambourine souvenirs left on our table. The only downside is it’s over in about 1 1/2 to 2 hours... I could’ve stayed all day but they were rented for an event right after for SXSW.

Best Barbecue I have had in a long time. Brisket was very tender and flavorful and the original recipe sausage was the best. Fried stuffed jalapenos were awesome. Wait staff was fantastic and very attentive. Wholeheartedly recommend!!!

Big line; BBQ was just ok. We tried a bit of everything, and it was all ok. Of course, I'm from Texas and have a different litmus test for BBQ. The line is very long, and probably not worth the wait if you know what good BBQ should taste like... good atmosphere though and our server was nice. If you are from California, then this is your place.

My visit here was just okay. We were quoted an hour wait, but there doesn’t seem to be much of a system to how they are seating folks. And there really isn’t a waiting area except downstairs in the empty performance space where it kinda just seems like you are standing in an empty basement. There was only one bartender with about 10 people looking to get drinks so that took forever. Once seated, the menu is pretty basic. I chose brisket and ribs with fried okra (good), and coleslaw (not bad either.). The brisket was moist and smoky, but I enjoyed the ribs better. I have had better bbq, but it *was* good. It definitely didn’t knock my socks off though, especially after an hour wait. Pretty average in the sphere of Texas bbq.

Went to Gospel Brunch for the second time. It’s unbelievably fun. The food is good (not good FOR you!) and the music is really a treat. This is a must do for visitors

This place was so amazing that we went there twice on our 4 day trip. Food, prices and service were all amazing! We will definitely stop by next time we are in town.

Brunch Buffet food was really poor quality. After all the great food from food trucks to restaurants we had in Austin this was the one culinary experience that was very disappointing. Also band only played for an hour and music was not really gospel although this was a gospel brunch. Tourist trap, stay away!

Can't comment on the food but we had a good time here enjoying a few beers at the bar. Nice local beer selection. Great vibe in the place. Would love to check out one of the shows in the amphitheater.

We had dinner here on a busy Friday night. Food is tasty (Brisket very nice) and well bbq-ed but it is served a bit messy. The main reason why my score is not any better is due to the service, seemed completely disinterested. Quite a pity.

We enjoyed the BBQ ribs, pulled pork & brisket while in Austin. It was a great respite on a very rainy day. Service was efficient & friendly.

First time I came was for a concert: LP and Verite. It was a great experience and I thought about coming back again! 10/10!

Parking was on the street as they were having an event and their parking area was not available (nor was outside seating). Street parking is not free. We were able to obtain change from the very friendly bartender to feed the meter. I had the pull pork which was very dry. This came with two sides I had the collard greens along with the fried okra, these were better than the pulled pork. My husband faired much better as he had the beef brisket which he thought was top rate. The service was smooth, fast and friendly. They sell their sauces here which I thought were more expensive then I could get at our local supermarket. Unsure if I would return.

I was looking forward to trying some Texas BBQ, so I went to Stubbs BBQ. I got the 3 meat meal, to get some variety. The food was good, but not good enough that would make me want to go back.

It was getting late and my Friend & I were looking for a barbecue place within walking distance from our hotel. This was not our 1st choice but we gave it a shot. We were immediately surprised by how friendly our server & busser were. Very quick service getting us some drinks & an appetizer in but not pressured. They have a solid menu and everything tasted very good. Would stop back in if I return to Austin.

A friend recommended Stubbs saying it was her favorite restaurant in Austin. We liked the atmosphere and the service was wonderful but weren't all that impressed with the food. We aren't fussy by any means, but it just wasn't that great. Maybe our expectations were too high.

Great Austin icon and a must place to visit if in Austin. Live music and big name groups. The smoked turkey is to die for.

Great concert last night from Paul Cauthen. The crowd was good and Paul put on great show. Stubb employees all made you feel welcome and were very helpful. Was on my bucket list to see a show here and can't wait to see another
This place is fantastic!!!!!
This place is fantastic. The barbecue pulled pork is perfection. The brisket is even better. The cornbread with jalapeños in it, is the best I’ve ever gad. The homemade vegetables were amazing
