The food here is great! It is seasoned well....they also have spectacular meat market products! The staffed is so friendly & welcoming. This place is a must! I drove 35 minutes to try it & I will most definitely will be back!

Best muffuletta this side of Central Grocery New Orleans. Had mine toasted and it was awesome. Also tried the Crawfish etouffee, and highly recommend it. Place is not fancy, just good. Can't wait to try the oyster po boy next time.

My family doesn't usually eat Cajun. It was very cold that evening. I wanted to serve something hot and with a bit of "flavor kick"for dinner. They have a variety of prepared main dishes and sides that you take home and place in the oven or store for future meals. The cooking instructions are very easy! In case you're in the area and want to stop in and eat lunch they also have a menu and casual eating area too.

The Stuffed Cajun Market offers already prepared meal courses, ingredients to prepare meals and ready to eat food. The appetizers and entree run a wide range of options. We have not been disappointed yet.

Stopped to have lunch next door, but too crowded. Went into Stuffed, where the smell was enticing and definitely Cajun. Ordered Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and two links of Texas Boudin. Quick service, food was great. Large variety of frozen stuffed chicken and pork, as well as frozen Etouffe, Boudin, meat and Crawfish pies. Also a large selection of Cajun spices and sauces. Apparently the place to go if you are ordering a Turducken. Will make this a regular stop.

Stuffed is among my favorite places. They are always welcoming and helpful. The food is very good. The true star here is the vast supply of prepackaged of foods stuffed with about anything you can think of, which all come with simple and easy cooking instructions. Give them a visit.

Stuffed Cajun Market is a true find. They are known for the many preprepared options, which are wonderful. They also offer a range already prepared options that are also excellent. Definitely give it a visit

Stuffed is our favorite Cajun. Their restaurant and takeout food is wonderful. Also they offer many more prepared foods to take home and heat . The service is friendly and helpful, even to help a non cooker like me.

Stuffed is a treasure in this part of Austin. They have great Cajun foods to eat in or take out, but their already prepared and frozen offerings are amazing! This is a place you must try.

Stuffed is a wonderful place to eat or to get take out to be eaten or cooked later. The options are amazing and frozen selections are premixed and come with cooking insctions.

Large selection in their coolers that offer an arrary of Cajun foods such as sausages, boudin, crawfish, gumbos which are simply warmed up at home. They also offer a lunch fare that has lots of folks stopping in. Biggest problem is that they seem unprepared to handle much of a lunch rush as people standing in line often were seen leaving after too long of a wait for a simple order to be taken or paid for. Tried their combination shrimp and oyster po boy which ended up being rather tasteless and mushy rather than a crisp sandwich which is more the norm in this type of food. Gumbo was mainly a small amount of chicken with a small amount of sausage but included a huge amount of rice.

A friend suggested that we have lunch at the Stuffed Cajun which I had never heard of before. There are two locations and we ate at the one in south Austin off of Highway 71 at Brodie Lane. I had a small cup of chicken and shrimp gumbo and the shrimp po boy which were very good, tasty and filling. The restaurant was packed by noon and there was a long line to order food, indicating that the locals enjoy this place as well. The store also has a large selection of frozen Veech and a few fresh meats for sale although we did not sample any of them. I would definitely return for him to drive lunch to the restaurant.

We had a wedding in late June and Stuffed cooked the food for it. Now, they don't deliver or anything, so we had to get the Best Man to pick up the food and bring it to the venue (House on the Hill). We had crawfish ettoufee, jambalaya, dirty rice, gumbo, green beans, and cornbread, probably about a gallon or two of each. The whole price for the food we purchased was probably around $500 and it fed 90. We also had a turducken for Christmas last year and got some jambalaya and crawfish ettoufee recently for the Thanksgiving holidays. The food is awesome here, the best Cajun in Austin without a doubt. Great deal overall!

Really good. Best value is the meat market itself. "Try it, you'll like it!" We did. We had a good lunch. But the meats/seafood we bought and brought home was awesome. Don't be fooled by the exterior!!

Stuffed Cajun Meat Market is a favorite and they delivered an excellent overall experience again. The options, service and food were all excellent. You should give them a try for preprepared frozen stuffed food or ready to eat food.

We heard about this place and said we gotta try it. The fried crab, fried oysters da bomb, and blackened frog leggs the best!!! We will be back again.

I was heading College Station to a tailgate for the weekend with some Louisiana friends and figured this was the best place to pick up my food. Grabbed some Boudin and Bacon wrapped Jalapenos which were gone in seconds after serving them. Great place to keep in mind when you need some good, fast food. Friendly service.

In our ongoing search for decent "home food", we were told by another Louisiana native to give Stuffed a try. Are we glad we did! These folks have a decent menu for anyone looking for a basic taste of the Cajun country. The Poboys were well portioned and "dressed" properly. The bread is the magic of a good Poboy and these folks use Gambinos French bread (arguably the best!). The freezer is full of some excellent choices ranging from Gumbo to Crawfish pies to all sorts of sausage. We brought home the Crawfish pie and found it to be absolutely delicious. If you want authentic, deli style, Louisiana food, no need to keep shopping. Stuffed is our new "go to" Cajun deli!

Today I took Stuffed home for lunch. I had their red beans & rice and gumbo. Both were delicious. They run an informal shop with many many take home selections, both frozen and ready to cook. They also have things to eat immediately.

We enjoy Stuffed Cajun Market for many things. We like the preprepared and frozen items as well as the prepared and ready to eat foods. The service was good and food quality outstanding.

I didn't expect to find good gumbo and crawfish etoufee in Cedar Park but there it is. Ready to eat meals and a huge variety of items to grill or ingredients to cook. I'm glad to know this fun place and we will be back.

The Customer Service is great. They have some great tasting food. The lunch specials are wonderful. I like this place for my Cajun fix. The chicken and sausage gumbo is tasty. However, on this day, I tried the pork chop special. A little pricey but worth it.

This review is about the second location of Stuffed Cajun Meat Market, located on Brodie Lane near 290 in Austin. Being from Baton Rouge and living in Texas for over 40 years, I have come to be very skeptical of any place that holds itself out as "cajun" in Austin. As soon as I walked in to Stuffed, I scanned their frozen food coolers and their meat display case and knew I was in the right place. It turns out the owners are from Baton Rouge and nearby New Roads, and they make all of their sausage, tasso, boudin, stuffed chickens and pork chops, turduckens, etc. right on premises. They even made me a really nice King Cake from scratch for Mardi Gras! It is the real deal. I still love the food in South Louisiana, but it is good to have a place I can trust here in Austin.

I visit Stuffed for take out food or frozen preprepared food to cook. Both are excellent. This trip was to take lunch to the office and it was beyond expectations.

You gotta try them craw fish pistollete. Hope I spelled that right. Creamy buttery deep fried bread, stuffed with crawfish butter cream sauce. No I don't work there I just remember it was delicous.

Stuffed Cajun Market is a standard go to for us. Since I first discovered their pre prepared frozen offerings I have been a regular. We have enjoyed frozen offerings as well as the refrigerated appetizers. Today I picked up preprepared lunch of gumbo and red beans & rice. Their basket meals are also good.

We tried this for lunch one day and were pleasantly surprised and the style of food and the quality. No frills. Just walk up and order from the posted menu, and it all comes out on disposable We had the Whole Shrimp Po Boy, Roast Beef Po Boy, and a pint of seafood gumbo. Delicious !

Heard about this little place and decided to check it out. We had a daughter who went to school in Louisiana and we were having serious Cajun withdrawals since she graduated. Sorry for my pictures being 'leftovers'. Once we got our food, taking pictures was the last thing on my mind. We had the Crawfish Etouffee w/rice, Cajun Fried Gator, and some Boudin Balls. All were wonderful and the Remoulade dipping sauce was great! Next time, we are going to buy one of their stuffed pork loins and bring it home to try. I also want to buy some Boudin to take home. They have a "Bucket List" for catering by the bucket. No delivery, however, although a great idea for feeding a group of people.

I wanted to like this place, but can’t. We ordered a tur-duck-en for thanksgiving and it made us sick with diarrhea. It cost us about $100, and the pricing is not straightforward. Also the bird they gave us just was stuffed with dirty rice. There was no duck or chicken inside. So not only did “stuffed” scam and overcharge is, They also gave us the wrong thing we ordered and that thing we got made us all sick! stay away

We had a muffuletta and an oyster po-boy. Both were outstanding. Quick, friendly service. It is a market stocked with many Cajun delights, ready to take home and cook. We will be back!

Stuffed Cajun Meat Market offered friendly service and a great selection of preprepared frozen items as well as ready to eat offerings. I will return.

Do not let the outside of the restaurant/market fool you. It looks like it is in an old convenience store storefront. I found this place after visiting the area multiple times over the last several years. I was getting really tired of floofy food in the area even though there are a number of good places to eat. I stumbled on this when looking at yelp, and decided to give it a try before going to the airport. There are only 4 tables, and about 6 seats along the window....... The market is what a Cajun market should be. You can buy plenty of fresh and frozen Cajun food or meats to cook at home. I came for the kitchen though, and was glad that I did. We only had the shrimp and crawfish, but they were both fresh and seasoned marvelously. The gumbo, étouffée and boudin looked great. The shrimp were the best that I have eaten since moving from the gulf coast 16 years ago. Great food and I really look forward to returning in October.

The best poboys north of the river by far. The shrimp poboy with remoulade is awesome. They don't use tiny shrimp either and it is fresh. They fry your shrimp on order and the poboy comes out piping hot fresh...as I wrote before....The Best! The red beans and rice is good too.

I was looking for a place that serves gator and ran across this place so thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the Fried Gator Basket which came with hushpuppies, fries, and a roll. The gator came in bite size with a hearty portion, was very tasty, and had some spice to it. There were two hushpuppies with the meal and they are made like hushpuppies are supposed to be made plus they were delicious! The serving of fries was plentiful and they tasted good, but once again they are the shoestring size. I had sweet tea for my drink and they serve Moonshine Sweet Tea which was perfect. The service was friendly and fast. The prices are about average. This is a seafood market with an indoor dining area so you can eat there or get it to go. It was pretty busy but everyone was ordering to take home.

Stopped in for quick dinner. We got 2 fried baskets of oysters, shrimp and catfish. Picked up 4 kinds of sausages to take home to grill.

As we have traveled around we have tried numerous types of seafood, my wife wanted to try crawfish ,it was OK but so deep fried that's all you tasted, everything else was a little pricey. You may like it, we weren't impressed.

We had the oyster basket with fries and the shrimp po'boy with the potato salad. We split a pint of chicken and sausage gumbo. My po'boy was good. I liked the potato salad. My Fiancee thought that the oysters were fried too hard. We do prefer them soft fried. Not sure if we could have asked for them soft fried. Next time we will ask. The Cajun fries is just fries with cajun seasoning dumped all over them.I didn't really care for the gumbo at all. I thought it was thin. 2 pieces of sausage in the whole thing. Just not much flavor. I am from Texas but can make a pretty decent pot of gumbo thanks to teachings from relations in South East Louisiana. I thought this place would blow mine out the water, but it was just blaw. All in all food is good but you pay for it. I hope that we just caught the gumbo on an off day.

Stuffed Cajun is our favorite for the foods they offer. Not only do they offer ready to eat food but they offer preprepared food that comes with cooking instructions.

When I want Cajun food, I immediately think of Stuffed. They offer excellent ready-to- eat and already prepared & frozen choices. This time I bought both. Give it a try.

Since i discovered Stuffed i have become a regular customer. They offer some delicious ready to eat choices and many more that come with very easy preparation instructions.

Our family does not usually eat Cajun, simply due to the lack of high quality restaurants, and having been ruined by unpleasant visits to places like Razzoo's in the past, I was hesitant when my husband suggested Stuffed Cajun Meats. The exterior is unassuming and quiet, but that changes when you go inside. We happened upon some live jazz, and it was wonderful Pianist and Bassist, taking requests, really nice. The other thing that hits you is the scent of herbs and spices. My mouth was watering before we got to the counter. Since it was the first time we'd been, we sampled a few different items. We tried the chicken and seafood gumbo - the roux was a beautiful, dark brown with oyster, shrimp, chicken, and the usual okra and rice. Wonderful! We also ordered the fried oysters. I would like to say one thing about the fried seafood here... it was not overcooked. It was tender, juicy, and just right. Many places over-fry shrimp until is rubbery. Not here. We learned they change their oil about three times a week, also. We also selected two different poboy's: shrimp for me, and beef for my husband. They were enormous. They use fresh bread straight from New Orleans, and it was soft on the inside, crisp on the outside. They fresh cut their own fries, and will even make a spicy ketchup if you prefer it. The poboys have the option of different sauces. The remoulade was amazing. The restaurant also sells their own meats, soups, and has a respectable spice selection as well. The owner is friendly, the staff accommodating, and we will definitely be back. *When setting up the review today, I was unable to select the appropriate address for the location we went to: It is 5207 Brodie Lane, Austin, TX 78745. The phone number is 512-917-1600.*

So good, we bought food to take back to Dallas. Very authentic. tasty, reasonably priced. Checked all the boxes for a casual Cajun lunch. We'll definitely return next time we're in the neighborhood.

great local find here in South Austin - oyster po-boy was really good and fries were hot and crisp. Plenty of take-out food available prepared to eat pronto or you can buy fresh boudin etc and prepare back at the hut. Lotsa Abita beer - US$10 a 6 pack to drink in-house. Yes - you read that right - 10 bones for 6 Abitas. WOW indeed. Go give them a shot!

Lunch on a Friday. The place was recommended by someone who worked in the area. I had Oysters with fries, hushpuppies, and a roll. I added red Beans and rice. The oysters were outstanding. Light breading and fried to perfection. Hush puppies were very good. Fries good, cut thin and with a red seasoning. The roll was ordinary. Red beans and rice very good, spicy as they should be. They had fresh sweet tea. I wanted unsweet so got a Moonshine brand in a bottle. I could taste the chlorine in the water. Suggest you pick something else for a drink. Noticed that they sell Delaware Punch.

Go by this place frequently and will stop for lunch if timing is right. If you don't like Cajun - go someplace else. They have wonderful menu including poboys, muffeletas and other cajun specialties. We always take something home from their freezer section which includes a variety of things like stuffed boneless chickens and stuffed pork chops. Haven't had a thing here that wasn't very good.

This particular dining experience was the worst I've had. The place was packed which should have signified great food. After we'd been in line for a long time we ordered. We sat next to a very nice couple from Austin who'd been waiting for their crawfish for over an hour. Later, after the gentleman had inquired three times he was told they were out of crawfish. Further, they could not get a refund because they didn't have a receipt??!!? Really!! They had an order number that could've been easily looked up. ---- but back to my experience --- after I went to inquire about my own order (and standing there for about 5 minutes) the harried waitress went back to get someone's to go order and also picked up mine; which apparently had been sitting there for a while. I ordered gumbo, red beans and rice, boudin balls, and gator basket. The food was barely average. The gator basket was burned and skimpy. The boudin balls were also over cooked. While I like non chain places; I will say that there were a few repeat visitors; so there may be something here. But as a southern Louisiana boy I couldn't encourage anyone to go here. Added to that; the waitstaff had "reserved" seats for themselves and friends. Very rude for a first come first serve seating arrangement. I'll also add that many frozen dishes in their cases were tantalising; but I can't bring myself to patronise a place to ship me food while they have a seeming disregard for customer service. They only one offering decent service was the cashier. Lastly, I'll say I left the place without getting my full order and after being there for two hours I didn't care anymore.

Almost all of your "excellent" reviews are submitted by the same person - rtnw. This causes suspicion over what your true reviews really say.

Heard about this place through local newspaper. Expect lines at lunchtime and hard time finding parking as in small strip center but worth the effort. Tried many Po-boys in LA... Olde Tyme Grocery store etc and this is pretty darn close. Bread is so important and they have it shipped in from LA bakery. Roast Beef was excellent and also Shrimp Po-Boy! Only comment on Roast beef...need plenty of napkins and ask them to slice beef a little thinner, Po-boy was loaded but could have done with sliced thinner. Great selection of cold meats in the meat market and great LA beer selection. Will add this to my must go often list!!

The food was great and I would go here again when looking for that right cajun meal. The neat thing you can get cajun meats here. they have a good variety of meats, spices and everything cajun for your crawdad boil to the gumbo! Good service, good time and good eats.

I love all of their food, but the shrimp PoBoy is a standout. Also their homemade sausage is good, but my favorite is the pecan smoked. We keep it in our freezer for when guests come over.

I stopped by for a takeout dinner and they had a special on Jambalaya. I ordered a pint and took it home. It was delicious! Just the perfect amount of spice made the dish. It is great having Stuffed in my neighborhood!
The best
I have a friend who is down on her luck and I wanted to provide Thanksgiving for her and her husband. But. I live in Houston so my niece suggested Stuffed & low and behold, there is one on RR 620 very close to her. I emailed them and Kurt responded. What a nice man! He presented me w an invoice for what I wanted and he got it to them as ore-arranged. I can't thank him enough! But the best part, my friend said the Turducken and all the fixins were delicious! And the bread pudding was 'to die for'. I can't thank them enough! Go eat there!
