Usually not a fan of hotel restaurants but I have eaten here twice in the last couple of years and have had great experiences both times. This time went with a couple of girlfriends. We shared the pimento cheese appetizer with homemade crackers. I am very picky about my cheese and this was one of the best. We also shared the vegetarian Mac and cheese. It was also delicious. Portions were ample and prices reasonable. And then the pie bar. Yum... we will be back for a third time. Great wait staff as well.

Definitely visit Sway for dinner. Our waitress was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure our first meal in Atlanta was one we'll talk about for the ages. The food was delicious, the choices were excellent. When we didn't finish all, she packed a take home bag that was outstanding. Will be a definite place to go when we return.

The food is expensive, but hey, it is a hotel. The atmosphere is nice. Breakfast was absolutely horrible, but the burgers for lunch were good.

Anything and everything we ordered were prepared with great care and in a very timely manner. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.

Ok place for Dinner if you need something within Hotel. Service wasn't great as one chap covering lot of patrons. You have to get their attention maybe, it is just one of of those days. Food was OK. Its more like Bistro as some hotel chains refer them

Great service and friendly staff. Chicken was great..pie bar was excellent..wished I would have saved more room

This was a pretty nice hotel restaurant- the food was really splendid and the prices were not bad given it being a hotel restaurant in downtown Atlanta. Not really a single complaint from me- staff was friendly and accommodating, and then food was prompt. Nice meal!

I ate here for dinner two nights in a row earlier this month, and had dined here five years ago. I returned to it because I liked it so much on my earlier visit, and it did not disappoint this time. This is a top hotel restaurant, with excellent service and very good food. My first night I ordered the stuffed trout, and the second night the fried chicken, which may be the best I've ever had. The restaurant also has a pie bar, with several pies to choose from. The pies I tasted were good but not great; there are plenty to choose from, so you should find several to your liking. I recommend this restaurant for its service, ambience, and food quality. My server from the first night even remembered my name when I returned the next night!

I woke up thinking about fish, but didn't want to leave the hotel. So at lunch I tried the hotel ground floor restaurant, Sway. The service was excellent and I ordered a redfish on pureed parsnips main course. It was one of those restaurant experiences that come along rarely. One orders based on the menu description but never knows if it will be good or not until that first bite. To begin with, dish on arrival was beautiful. Creamy pureed parsnips were topped with tender asparagus which was topped by a flaky tender seared redfish fillet, topped with chopped seasoned tomatoes, and crispy curly crunchy thin potatoes. Oh my goodness. Words escape me. I almost inhaled it, it was so good. In particular the parsnip puree was a revelation. What a great experience. Can't recommend it highly enough. I had a good small green salad and a satisfying cup of coffee and left. I don't know about the rest of the menu, but if you find yourself in Atlanta and hungry, that particular meal was worth tracking down the Hyatt Regency on Peachtree and settling in for a real treat.

Family dinner at Sway during the holiday. Although everyone working at Sway was nice, the service was slow and the food was not memorable.. Had the fried chicken, mac and cheese and collards.

I was having breakfast and it took a while for the waitress to even approach me to see if I'd wanted anything to drink. I was rather surprised since the place was about 2/3 empty and didn't seem to be that busy to me. When I finally spotted her, she gave me that up-down glance and the look in her eyes told me she did NOT appreciate the fact I was wearing a kilt. Even if I was wearing a skirt, she had no right to pass such sudden judgement; in fact, when she finally deigned to approach my table, it was only for one cup of coffee. No stopping back to see if everything was okay or if I'd needed a refill. She was warm and friendly at the other tables around me so it was one of the very, very few times I didn't tip. Glad I've found the nearby food court so I can avoid eating here again during my stay.

We enjoyed a quick cold and hot breakfast buffet. Eggs, bacon, grits, turkey sausage. Pastries, omelette bar, toasts etc. Coffee, teas and juices. The best part about this place is the staff. The wait staff is so pleasant and they can’t do enough for you. Our server was Josie; she is a gem! If you are in the area, stop by for a quick bite. Prices are average. 30.00 for the breakfast buffet.

we stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night. Its a restaurant inside the Hyatt hotel. We were seated immediately. Our waitress Taylor was fantastic. The food is fantastic and it is extremely wide ranging. We had the Pimento Cheese for appetizers - wonderful appetizers with Carrots, Celery and fantastic home-made crackers. My 5 year old had the pumpkin ravioli with winter squash and cream sauce. It was phenomenal....I stole a few bites from his plate...My wife had the roasted quinoa salad which she loved. I had the tofu and vegetable in broth which was bursting with flavor. I also had a side of quinoa / wild-rice side. They also have a Pie Bar / Dessert Bar - and boy was it good..Awesome. Our waitress allowed each of us to pick one dessert from the pie bar... We had a really great time with the food and service. Will return

After an exciting day at the SEC Championship, we decided on room service instead of waiting anywhere else to be seated. We ordered an Italian pizza, pimiento cheese dip, and deviled eggs. Wait time for the delivery was about 15 minutes, and the food was excellent. Total cost was about $45.00. The pizza was hot and delicious. My favorite was the pimiento cheese and home crackers. It was also served with carrots and celery. We chose the pickled jalapeño deviled eggs. A great dinner amply served three persons.

The food was good but the service was absolutely amazing. We ate there twice during our stay and the service blew me away. Antoinette is so phenomenal. Jasmine was super great. I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Thank you staff at Sway for doing such an awesome job.

It seems like there are lots of great places to eat in Downtown Atlanta so we were hesitant to use one of our dinner slots on a hotel restaurant, but we were tired after a long day at the convention center and this was the only place that we called that didn't have a wait. I wanted to try the pimento cheese spread so our waitress suggested the sampler which included that, deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. My wife was only going to have soup and likes eggs so we got that. I had never tried fried green tomatoes before. If this is what they are like I am sad to have missed them, I'd say they were kind of like onion rings but the tomato had a sweetness to it. The pimento spread was addictive. It looks so simple but is so good, and better not Han we had elsewhere during the week. And my wife did like the deviled eggs. A friend and I both ordered the fried chicken with all white meat. We each got two breasts and a wing. The coating was a bit bland but the chicken meat was perfect. Juicy, not greasy. And I agree with the person who guessed it was brined. Very tasty. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy. The potatoes had a surprising, but pleasant amount of sweetness. My wife had the red pepper soup and really liked it. The do have a pie bar for dessert. We told our waitress we were too stuffed but show did let us each have one item from the pie bar complimentary. That was a very nice gesture. The server was a little inattentive, or at least the pacing was slower than normal but not annoyingly so. Overall a very good experience and we were glad to have tried it.

Yummy Southern food with a few awesome twists. We started with the appetier sampler: pimento cheese and sesame baked crackers (both homemade), celry, fresh deviled eggs (to die for) nd fried green tomatoes. Shared a fried chicken dinner (sepcialty of the house) with mashed potatoes and gravy and sides of mac and cheese and collard greens. Yum, yum, yum!!! Our waitress suggested we share the dinner because it comes with four pieces of chicken. Do save some room for the incredible pie buffet for dessert. You will be sorry if you don't :)

went for breakfast. The server was very pleasant and attentive. the food however just mediocre. Eggs were tasteless and the bacon was not high quality. Pass on this one and go out to eat.

We went here for lunch and it took forever to have it delivered unfortunately but it was a lot and it tasted ok. Payment took forever as well unfortunately and it was something that our waitress had to go to the Hyatt bank and change a hundred dollar bill....

I am staying at the Hyatt for the next 3 days ( hotel to be reviewed at the end of the stay) attending a function being held at the Mariott across the street. Tonight I had dinner at Sway. OMG. It started out fine..nice waitress. I ordered the chicken breast with quinoa and wilted spinch with a honey bacon glaze. My friend ordered the fried green tomatos and a small wedge salad. They brought a nice plate of corn muffins and biscuits. Food arrived and at first we both thought it was decent for an enormous convention hotel. About 4 bites into the chicken I thought the texture all of the sudden seemed off. I looked closely and the center of the plump chicken breast was completely RAW! I am terribly upset and do NOT understand how this could happen!?!? The waitress took it back and told the manager who came over and was very nice but I am so upset about the whole incident. They offered to get me something else which I did not want because I am nauseated . The manager offered a bottle of wine to be sent to my room which I accepted because it is sealed. I was very surprised when my friend was presented with a bill for her part? We turned down offers of free dessert etc..it would have been a nice gesture to bring no bill at all. Regardless...I would rather pay triple the bill and not have to worry about the possibility of food poisoning for the next 48 hours. I have never ever been served raw chicken at a restaurant and I would avoid this place.

Had the breakfast buffet and it was a little high at $30 but it was delicious. When we were there they had: eggs, fried potatoes, chicken sausage, bacon, French toast, omelette station, avocado toast bar, oatmeal bar, pastries, yogurt bar, muffins, assorted juices, assorted milks, assorted fresh fruit, coffee, grits, biscuits and gravy, and probably a few more things I’m forgetting. Service was great!

We had breakfast here, opting to order from the menu instead of doing the $25 per person breakfast buffet. This place is not cheap (naturally!, it is inside the Hyatt Regency), but it was surprisingly good! We ordered oatmeal, scrambled eggs and quinoa and the french toast. It was all super tasty!! The orange butter on the french toast is delicious! They have plenty of vegetarian options and have almond milk too!! Oh and their coffee.....oh.my.god. It was strong and so so sooo good. We might eat here again!

Super convenient. Excellent service. Great place for families without it being a cheesy kids’-place. Nice food selection. Super fast. Overall a great choice!!

We went here one morning for breakfast when staying at the hotel. Our waiter sure wasn't quick about service. I ordered an omelet which wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I did have a side of grits that were good. One person in our group send her breakfast back because it was cold. It isn't cheap here either my omelet and coffee was close to $18.00. They have a breakfast buffet which is $24.00 and I don't know if you get drinks with that or not.

We decided to have breakfast here for convenience as we had a convention in the hotel. We ordered the breakfast buffet for $30 per person. The service was acceptable. The food was not at all worth eating. The omelette station had no one present to make one. I asked them for one and it was prepared in the back with hardly any meat or vegetables. The rest of the food was steam table fare which you can get in a hospital cafeteria.

This restaurant was moderately priced, and the food was great. The portions were huge! My friend and I split an order of friend chicken and mac and cheese, and we ended up taking most of it to go. The service was good and staff were friendly. They give you homemade biscuits with tomato jam, which was delicious! If you are in the area, stop in and try the fried chicken!

Located in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta this restaurant had great food. I kept returning for their grits. They were awesome.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Sway. Our server, Antoinette, was absolutely wonderful - really warm and attentive. She made the experience special and went out of her way to be sure we had what we needed. The menu has lots of interesting choices. Our food came really quickly and it was great! There was no crowd on a Thursday evening so no need for a reservation.

I had two great meals at Sway. For lunch I had a delicious salad and a smoked turkey sandwich. The service was adequate and the food served fast. I ate the salad and half of the sandwich. It was still delicious hours later. I ordered food to go for dinner, shrimp and grits with a side of collards. There were enough grits for two or more people and a good number of shrimp. The food was served with white mini-corn muffins and biscuits. I enjoyed it. The greens were more vinegar-y than I cared for. They also feature a delicious pie bar—all yummy!

Came for an aviation conference stayed at the Hyatt for 1 hour because after I checked in I went stray to eat to sway and had tuna salad and hour later I was in the ER with food poison until the next day. I went through the most painful test I ever had in my life when the ENT had to check for a strange swallowing on my throat as a consequence of the food poisoning I lost the conference that cost $3,500 plus I have to perform a task for my work that requires the attendance to this conference and I could not attend. The manager of the hotel and the security officers and the security manager was very responsive to the emergency. The consequences of missing this conference will have a big impact on my job and I being a pilot I have from now on to look carefully at what I eat because I might develop after this incident food intolerance.... which is not good for a person that travel all around the world Living in many countries in the past India, Africa etc and never had this experience before only here in one of the best hotels in Atlanta.

Antoinette made our meal experience memorable. She spreads joy and caring to all. The food was fresh and tasty and the tomato jam with fresh rolls amazing.

First, major props to Ashley, our server. She rocked it. We had the southern sampler appetizer and shared the fried chicken dinner. The bacon hush puppies were to die for. Great deviled eggs, spicy pimento cheese with home made crackers. I was full before the main course but kept eating anyway. The fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy we're pure comfort food. But the best bite of the night was the tomato honey jelly on the biscuits. House made and they even harvest their own honey. This stuff was incredible and is going on my Christmas gift list this year. Wish I hadn't waited for the last night of the conference to try Sway, I could have eaten here every night.

friendly staff, no waiting, easy seating, busy, self serve dishes, shrimp and grits huge serving, fair choice menu for lunch time

The wonderful buffet was included with our room at the hotel. This is an upgrade but it was worth it. They made great food for the buffet and have wonderful meats and cheeses. The service was nice.

We ate breakfast twice in this restaurant, mainly because it's on the property. It's very expensive for what you get. Most of the entrees are pushing $20. The buffet is $25 and includes juice and coffee, so you might as well get it. The buffet choices aren't bad and the food was reasonably tasty. You're just going to spend 3X what you would at the nearby Waffle House.

It's a casual hotel restaurant, so the usual sandwiches and salads, but they were made with obvious care and attention to detail. Everything fresh and flavorful; nothing greasy or sloppy (even the fried-chicken sliders were juicy and tender, not oily). The service was wonderful, fast and friendly. And there was a small buffet option for those in a bit of a hurry. We visited the restaurant twice during our stay and loved it both times.

To be fair, the restaurant is in the lobby of a convention hotel... and DragonCon was over 75,000 people. A couple of the staff would get flustered and become overloaded. Coffee could become a 30-minute ordeal. Other times it was there as I sat down. The buffet was top notch, and the mac & cheese was way too much... but you didn't want to stop eating.

Well, I was there for hotel breakfast. Food was good. Servers were friendly and professional, except felt like they had understaffed.

They have a breakfast buffet, but I had a delicious goat cheese and arugula omelette from the menu. Service was quick so I was able to get out the door to my meetings.

The service was a bit slow but the wait was worth it. I would eat here again. Interesting menu selections. Very southern style dishes.

Pretty good if a little pricey at $22. But they have everything you could want! Quality stuff and attentive service too.

Sway is an example of why I usually avoid hotel restaurants. I visited for breakfast a couple weeks ago while on a day trip to Atlanta. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The dish was flavorless and watery. The shrimp and ham had no flavor and the eggs were not properly poached (yolks were fully cooked). The service was also excruciating slow. Avoid this place if possible.

My wife and I had a late dinner here and enjoyed our meals...we had an appetizer sampler which included fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, and homemade pimento cheese...all were fresh and well done! My wife had a Mac and cheese pasta dish with ham that was a HUGE serving...I had shrimp and grits...it was conveniently located in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency downtown

I had been craving Mac n cheese since I arrived in Georgia, so I researched for 3 days and I found Sway. Omg! This place delivered great food and great service. Iris was engaging ,sweet, welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the food and the preparation of it all. We also had the fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and we also got mini biscuits and mini cornbread with tomato jelly, all to die for. When Iris asks you if you are sure you want 2 bowls of Mac n cheese take the hint and get one because the portions are very generous. You can feed at least two hungry woman with one bowl. Sadly with all we had to eat we had no room for dessert.

We went to Sway while staying in the Hyatt Regency. I would certainly recommend it! For a starter we had the pimento cheese and crackers. There were a couple of fried green tomatoes on there too. It was killer stuff. The crackers were good but hard so we ordered the biscuit and cornbread tray. The biscuits were little puffy clouds of perfection and cornbread tasted like a wonderful bakery muffin. It made the pimento cheese shine. My husband and son had the fried chicken and of course I had to try it. OMG! It's awesome! Forget your diet, just get it! My son had mac and cheese as his side and I kid you not, it would have made a perfect entree all by itself! I had the redfish and instead of parsnips had it on the Carolina Gold heritage rice. The fish was good, but a bit over cooked. The rice however was awesome! I would certainly not hesitate to go back on another trip to Atlanta!

The meal was incredible.the Service from our waitress, Iris was just as wonderful as our meal.Perfect experience.

Really friendly place that I'd go to even if not staying in the Hyatt. Great service. Excellent food. We had a group and every plate seemed licked clean. Comfort food, deserts, seafood. It's all good. Shout out to our server - Jeremy. He's an example for anyone in the role: he makes you feel at home, accommodates requests, remembers your name. Gold star! If you're staying at Hyatt, don't miss. If you're in the area, walk over.

Food options are better than the Marriott and Hilton dining equivalents. The buffet at lunch is a negative as it reminds a bit too much of Golden Corral.

Saturday morning breakfast buffet is a great start to the day! The coffee was really strong, just the way I like it! We will definitely be back!

The staff and food at Sway restaurant was great! We ate most of our meals at Sway, and we were never disappointed. I would definitely recommend Sway at the Hyatt and we will return.

This place has some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and they seem to really enjoy what they do. If you are ever in the Atlanta area, it is defiately a place to stop and eat.

This hotel restaurant has potential, but fell well short this visit. We were there mid-week. The hotel was extremely busy but Sway was d.e.a.d. And that's how the staff acted. From the greeter who was confused about "two for dinner" to the bartender on his phone leaning on the bar for over 10 minutes while we waited for drinks. Our server was pleasant, but couldn't keep up with only two tables. (Other table had issues we discussed also) Requesting substitute sides took multiple trips to the kitchen and notes! Over 30 minutes waiting on food only to still not have the correct sides (not even what was listed) and a way overcooked steak. While we thought we were waiting on the sides we ordered, we didn't see our server for over 10 minutes. Only to have her return with no sides, no drink refills and no check. Not sure why she even stopped by. We asked for the check and had to wait for that also. Hopefully, the service can catch up soon.

Ate dinner here during during an SEC weekend when the hotel was jammed packed! Surprised how easy it was to get a table (just walked up) so I was wondering if maybe others knew something I didn't. The dinner was excellent! Had a mixed green salad that I shared with my guest, also with grilled trout. Both were excellent. The breakfast menu looked really good and I wish I had time to try it.

I was having a trout there and a few hours late felt incredibly unwell, and though it up. The next day came to report that. I was taken details and provided with partial refund only as the waitress on its internal system indicated I had a 15% discount as a hyatt card member, which I was not. My original receipt with my handwritten tip on it was not found by the manager. I was promised to be contacted again by the manager following "full investigation" of the situation with the waitress. Nobody got in touch! Still cannot see trouts, but even more disappointing is the way customers are treated by the place!

I dined here my 1st night staying at the hotel and found it to be actually very, very good. While it is a tad expensive (normal for a restaurant in a hotel in a major city), the portions are good and filled me without stuffing me. The food taste and texture were excellent. The presentation was also excellent. The service was a little lackluster however, she was overly busy as well. I highly recommend this restaurant over the much more expensive Polaris. As a side note, this is the restaurant that takes care of room service.

Our morning was quite enjoyable since we started with a delicious meal from the buffet. Smiling chefs and servers greeted us upon arrival and attended to any need we had during our meal. The selection was awesome and every thing was prepared deliciously to make our breakfast a culinary delight. The manager Brandi checked with us during our meal & enjoyed hearing that we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the hospitality that her team provided.

Had lunch at this place while staying at Hyatt. The restaurant is conveniently located inside the hotel. I had a lunch there and got the Sway Burger. Nothing to complain about the quality, which was good. But not at the level of the service and the location. The price was probably commensurate to the location, but I find it a bit overpriced. Staff was very gentle and professional and the tables and the furnishings are nice.

The food here is good and reasonably priced. Quiet enough to sit and work. The service was also good.

This place had very slow inattentive servers, an extremely limited menu with things on the menu unavailable. We waited 20 minutes for the check. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Very disappointing.

Wow, where do I begin? I practically had to beg my niece and nephew to eat here because they didn't see anything they liked on the menu. In the end, they were glad that we went. Our waitress was awesome! She went above and beyond, from suggesting food to even helping the kids determine what they wanted to eat. The kids had steak off the kid menu. She took time to cut their steak for them, which was a huge help to me. Now on to the adult food. We had an appetizer sampler with deviled eggs, fried green tomatoes and a delicious pimento cheese. I ordered the half chicken (fried) with Mac & cheese and collard greens. Delicious! My mom ordered the crab crusted rainbow trout and she said it was delish! They also brought out cornbread and biscuits which were good as well. Out of all the restaurants we visited during our entire trip, Sway was the best! Kudos! I will definitely return if I'm ever back in the area.

Food and atmosphere was awesome & very laid back. Dined there two mornings over this weekend. Saturday the server seemed to be hiding, but today our server was Shelly and she did an amazing job. Kudos Shelly!

Lunch: BLT. “Bacon” tasted like ham and had the consistency of cooked pasta.Sorry Im just one of those people that if the bacon isnt crispy,it’s not worth eating. Bread tomato lettuce was fine as was seasoned mayo but without decent bacon whole sandwich was bad! Good iced-tea Service fair

The food served here is basically Southern fare with a twist! Some items are quite expensive such as shrimp and grits at 20 dollars a plate. The dish comes with not only shrimp but andouille sausage on top! It was delicious, but not the classic. I also on another day ordered a brisket sandwich. It came with collard greens on the top. Very interesting taste. It was priced reasonably. The only issue had with this restaurant is that their room service served your food on throwaway paper dishes. After paying 72 dollars for breakfast, one would expect at least to have it served on china. Presentation is as important as to what is on the plate. Dining should be a total experience! All in all, the food was tasty, but there are other alternatives nearby.

My husband and I with another couple decided to have lunch here while attending the Lott Carey 2018 Conference. We were initially impressed with the number of very positive reviews. All four of us chose the lunch buffet. Not one of us were disappointed. The selections offered very tasty choices. The reasonable price for the variety of options was a definite plus. Everything was well seasoned including the choices for desert. All and all, it was a truly wonderful experience and proved to have been a great decision on our part. I’m so grateful we chose to dine here.

Fruit is always fresh. Bagels with smoked salmon was really good. Courteous nice staff. Will be back.

Sway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Quickly greeted and seated. Our server was more than helpful and we felt like we have been coming here for years. Food was excellent and very reasonable

We ate at this really good restaurant several times during our recent 5 night stay at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta. The food was really good and the servings are really big. My husband and I shared the steak salad and an appetizer for dinner and both of us were full when we left the table. Their prices for a city hotel restaurant are really good too, service was outstanding and their desserts were delicious. Highly recommend you try eating a meal here when in Atlanta.

I ordered the shrimp and grits, one of their signature dishes. I was shocked because it had no flavor what so ever! I was very disappointed. My lunch companion had several complaints as well. She ordered thr brisket, it was dry and the coleslaw was old and brown. I will not be returning, needless to say.

We enjoyed eating here several nights in a row when we attended a conference. The stuffed trout was lovely and we enjoyed a hearty breakfast every day and they provided me with gluten free toast which was nice. They had a lovely buffet several nights we were there, there were great gluten free options with that too and we were able to talk to the chef who was very nice and helpful

The grits bowl for breakfast was very interesting and because you can choose your add ins, quite good indeed. I was surprised to see how large the serving was and wonder if anyone ever finished a serving. The lunch was comprised of 2 appetizers and while the deviled eggs were good, the fried green tomatoes were very close to horrible. The tomatoes were primary breading and not very good breading either.

An unexpected treat for a hotel restaurant. Obviously, the fried green tomatoes were a treat but the sandwiches and salads were very good too. The smoked turkey sandwich was very good.

Enjoyed lunch with wife and all hotel lobby views and foods. Nice hotel amenities,The Sway restaurant was nice and our waitress Ms. Whitney did an awsome job serving us.

GREAT food . Cant ask for more.. Stayed at the Hotel for 5 night. The egg station team remembers my eggs preference from my breakfast from day 1. From day 2 onwards never have to repeat my order again in spite the Hotel running high occupancies. Very impressive.

Had a lovely dinner at Sway, the fried chicken did not disappoint! Although the pieces were small, the entree came with a 1/2 chicken so there was more than enough. The Mac and cheese side was delicious too, at this price point I would have loved to have a salad, as there weren't many fresh or green options. My companion had the Lobster Mac and Cheese and loved it, the portion was HUGE and there were nice sized visible pieces of lobster. Will definitely go again. Be sure to visit the Hyatt bar for after dinner cocktails!

I've been to Sway several times as a friend works there, and the meals have always been very good. This visit was for the breakfast buffet and all the items are fresh and very good. They also offer made to order omelets. Also, they make ridiculously good Arnold Palmers (iced tea and lemonade).

We had breakfast her in April 2017 food was great everything that should be hot was HOT..which is hard to do on a buffet bar..but this was the perfect breakfast bar..whatever you do try the pink lemonade this was the best refreshing drink..

Had dinner here with my daughters and our waitress Antoinette was great and made several suggestions which we were pleased with. I hope the restaurant remains open for a long time because I plan to return again for a great meal. Also my daughter loved the desserts, i enjoyed the shrimp and grits and both girls shared the mac and cheese with four cheeses and ham.

I went here with friends when we were at the Hyatt for a convention. They had a nice buffet with many options. There were several selections of meat, vegetables, salad bar, and even a little dessert bar. It was very fast and mostly quite good. The service was fast and friendly. The prices seemed reasonable. We did have drinks which were fine and some of us ordered off the menu and that look great also.

Great choices on the buffet. $22 is a bit steep for breakfast, but it was well served. Food was good. Coffee was great. Very nice service.

I don't expect alot out of hotel restaurants especially in Atlanta. But Sway provided us with the exceptional service and personality of Jeremy as well as a wonderful dinner. The bread was truly excellent. And my Tofu Broth dinner sounds mediocre but was one of the best vegetarian meals I've ever had. So simple yet so good. Even a non-veg dining with us tasted it and loved it. All in all great food combined with great service (thanks Jeremy) made for a surprisingly great dinner experience.

I was staying at the Hyatt Regency and ate lunch here. I had their Blackened Tuna Salad and it was better than I expected. Staff was very nice.

I was here for dinner two weekends ago with a friend and I would not describe my experience here as very good. First, when we tried asking the host about how long it would take us to get a seat, he appeared a bit brusque and asked us to wait behind a group of six or seven folks who were also standing in the general area. It was unclear to us whether he had already spoken to the group or not and therefore we wanted to check with him but he shooed us off and came off as brusque in his conduct. Second, in terms of the quality of the food, while quite acceptable, it did not blow me away. I ordered the shrimp and grits and I have certainly had better before. My most recent experience of getting shrimp and grits was at Williamsburg, VA at a restaurant called Food for Thought and that’s one of the best restaurants I have come across in my life, so admittedly my standards for this dish were a bit high to begin with. But even if they weren't that high, I know I have had better shrimp and grits before. Apart from the fact that there wasn’t much depth in the flavors, there was also too much gravy for my tastes. My friend got a pear and walnut salad and while he did finish it, he did not appear too impressed with it either. Third, and perhaps what irked me the most, was the fact that our waters weren’t refilled as often as we would like. Towards the end of our meal, I got up and requested our waiter twice or thrice (!!!) to get us water but she was so engrossed in closing out the books that it took her a good 10-15 minutes before I could get a glass of water. (For context, this was around 9:30 and the restaurant closes at 10.) Finally, and this is a minor point, the floor around us seemed a little dirty in that there were more crumbs on the floor than we would expect at a place with airs about it such as Sway. If there was one saving grace, it was the fact that the dessert which I had – a slice of pecan pie – was “on the house”. All in all though, given that the food did not impress and the service was considerably worse than average, I would pass on this restaurant if I were in the area.

The food here is a nice riff on southern cooking - it lives up to its 'Southern Way' name. The portions are HUGE! We were glad after our delicious drinks and appetizers that we shared a salad with grilled beef, because we wanted to save room for the PIE BAR! Yes, an assortment (all you can eat) of classic southern desserts in a buffet.

We went to the restaurant inside Hyatt Hotel. It looked clean. Most tables were empty. The female waitress was friendly. The signature fried chicken was good, except the inside of one piece was of pink color, and smelt a little weird. The salad came in a very big plate and was fresh. If we come again, I would request the fried chicken “well done”.

I stopped here for lunch because it was convenient while I was attending a conference. I sat at the bar since I was solo, so I was immediately seated. They were busy so service, even at the bar, was a little on the slow side. Fried chicken sandwich was very good. Sweet potato tots were a little soft for my liking but the flavor was good. Fair price for the meal too.

During our recent stay at the Hyatt Regency, we did the pie bar during dinner service. For $9, you get all the pie, cobblers, tarts and desserts you can eat. Jazmine was our server and she was so nice and made sure we got some homemade vanilla ice cream to have with our pies. We didn't have any other meals here (mostly due to the price), but the menu and the other diners' plates looked very good.

I ordered lunch and dinner only and food was always pretty good. Good service and drinks are good. There is probably better food close by, but not a bad option in a pinch.

3 of us on a business trip. There was a buffet special for the January Gift Show that one of us had. Lots of choices and all that was sample was good. My wife needs a gluten free menu but the buffet would not be an option. The waitress communicated with the Chef and certain items would be cooked especially for her. The salmon was great. I had the southern fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The chicken was very good and the potatoes were great. Nice and relaxing atmosphere.

I tried on two different salads on different occasions. The steak salad and the blacked tuna. Both were excellent and very filling. The quality and quantity was very good for the price. Both were served quickly.

We had breakfast at this restaurant. My husband had pumpkin pancakes with candied blackberries-yum. I had pulled pork omelet which was also delicious. Service was very attentive. Highly recommend.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! No, really, Chicken Breakfast! For $14 and the convenience of stumbling down the glittery glass elevator with limited coffee at 6AM, this is an amazing choice! You get TWO biscuits, eggs done your way, gravy, and INCREDIBLE yummy true Southern Fried Chicken--and some other stuff that just enhances it all. Seriously, you won't need much lunch. Add in the great waitstaff that kept our coffee filled just right, you can't go wrong. We didn't have the chance to try any other meals, but as an amateur cook, I'm experimenting to duplicate this breakfast. This review would have five dots but initial service was a tad slow (took 10 minutes to get us seated and there were only a few hardy souls at that hour of the morning), but given an option, I'd go with 4.7. Great Job!

I normally only eat in hotel restaurants as a last resort. When I'm tired, When I can't be bothered going outside, When room service options are limited .... One or more of these was the reason I ate at Sway. Wow .... excellent southern fried chicken (more than I could eat), wonderful mash with gravy (needed more) and superb roasted carrot and parsnip ... all delivered with excellent friendly and effecient service ... at a very reasonable price .... certainly for a centrally located Hyatt in a big city. In short, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again .... out of choice !

I ordered the Southern Chicken Sandwich, because, I'm in the south, why not right? Well I was very pleased! The chicken was fried to perfection and the sweet potato tots??? So good. My only qualm was the waiter. Scattered, forgetful, and even offered me KETCHUP for my sweet potato tots.. I refused, then he brought me AIOLI! I was done, then I finally just asked for honey which he should have just brought in the first place. Even the honey was great. We informed him that we had to get back to a training so we only had an hour tops, but we waited and waited, then waited some more, so we asked for the bill with our food so we wouldn't have to wait. Well he took forever to bring the bills/cards back. We made it back to training in the knick of time but honestly could have been back sooner, or had time to grab a snack before heading back. This is the only reason I am giving this place a 3. And the language barrier. Many things he did not understand but would just shake his head. It was frustrating.

Awesome Mac and Cheese with ham and onions and peppers and broccoli and it was really good. Very nice staff. Pricey but worth it.

What a complete waste of $50. The "cage free" eggs had to be powdered. They were terrible....and boxed eggs don't come in a cage so I guess they were "cafe free". The hostess who greeted us....well, she actually just looked at us with no acknowledgement until I said something....had the personality of a dish rag. The saving grace with Tenisha, the nice waitress. Do yourself a favor, go across the street to the Marriott Marquis and eat at Sear. The line to get in was out the door....there was no line at Sway and that speaks volume.

We had meals several times at Sway while we stayed at the Hyatt-really great fresh non processed food. It was a treat to eat food the way it is supposed to be cooked. All the staff there are fantastic!

I ate at Sway twice for dinner during a conference stay, mostly for convenience. The first night, I ordered the ribeye steak, and I thoroughly (!!) enjoyed the steak (done medium, and perfectly so), potatoes, and fringe of asparagus. It was so delicious that the next night, I decided to order it again. This time, though, the steak was far, far less tasty; it was tough, looked more like a strip steak, and had less seasoning or something to make it taste as good as the first night. The potatoes were undercooked, too. As for the biggest negative -- the service is just really appalling given the prices for dinner. The servers are nice and caring, but they are stretched beyond their capacity, it seems, always rushing around yet never getting to everyone. I'm not sure why they weren't able to keep up with the influx of customers; at dinnertime, it's not like the restaurant was completely full. I waited 45 minutes for the server to come back after she'd dropped off my check. My dinner companion eventually abandoned the table to go back to her room while I waited; it made no sense for us both to sit idly there.

Don’t discount this as just another hotel ho-hum restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful Southern classics. The butternut squash soup was tasty. The fried chicken proved crispy yet moist. The pimento cheese spread was just so-so, but the fried green tomatoes were on point. Save room for the pie bar. The honey pecan pie might be the best I’ve ever had. The chocolate chess pie was great too. The desserts are made in house. I’m a midwesterner, so sweet tea is usually not my choice, I tried this tea. Served with mint, lemon, and a stick of sugar cane, it was an enjoyable sugar rush. Come here for dinner or the $9 all you can eat pie bar (a great concept).

Breakfast was generous, but expensive by Australian Standards and there was a long wait for a table at 8am in the morning

Service was very good. Food, as well, was very good. Love the Southern appetizer plate. Fried chicken excellent!

Let's face it, beating up $50 bucks BEFORE tip is a premium for breakfast ANYWHERE! But that's my only complaint. The breakfast buffet was delicious with some great choices to go along with the traditional ones and all presented well. That's hard to do on a buffet line but they manage.

I visited Sway a few times for the breakfast buffet. The selection is amazing. The hot food is delicious with selections like scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, grits, oatmeal, pancakes or French toast and more. There was fruits, yogurt, breads and tons of other items to choose from. The staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. The dinner service is also great. You can choose to eat the buffet or order from the menu. For dinner I ordered the flat iron steak. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The potatoes were good. I also tried the pie buffet. Delicious! I highly recommend it. For a restaurant in a hotel it is pricey when there are other options close by. Convenience is hard to beat. The staff and food made it worth it for me. I look forward to next year.

Had business lunch in back room today. Had a good variety but ended up eating deep fried chicken fingers and mac-cheese. Good selection of beer and wine. Located on Peachtree Street inside of Grand Hyatt.

My expectations were to eat a fast meal and retire early after a long day. The dinner menu had an excellent variety of choices and the service was quick and pleasant. I had a problem with a salad that I ordered. My server expressed that she was so glad that I mentioned it so she could correct the dish - which she did. It was a lovely dining experience.

Arrived for breakfast on what was apparently everyone’s first day on the job. Served ourselves coffee and juice and picked up a couple of stale croissants. I wouldn’t eat here again if you paid me. Find anything, anywhere else.

Great southern cooking. Cozy atmosphere and located right off the main lobby. Great for lunch or dinner. Not sure if they were serving breakfast.

The food and waitress Jossie is the best. Shrimp and Grits was so good and it had chicken sausage in it. pancakes were delicious.

We had heard how good the shrimp and grits were at Sway’s, so we had to give them a try. We got there right at 11:30 right as they opened for lunch. We weren’t disappointed. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The shrimp were very large and tasty. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I’d love to go back if we have the time

After reading glowing reviews, I decided to try the Pie Bar at Sway during my final night in town. Every single dessert that I sampled was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Sweet Tea Lemon Tart, a refreshing spin on the traditional lemon tart with notes of tea and honey accented with homemade whipped cream and candied lemon peel. The best part of my experience had nothing to do with the delicious food, though. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly warm and welcoming. My server Iris was particularly lovely. With no effort from me, she appeared and refilled my water and made sure I had the appropriate utensils for pie consumption (like a miniature spoon for the jar of s’mores cheesecake). She asked my opinion of the pies as did several other staff members. They were very pleasant and personable while remaining professional and efficient. I will certainly return.

Hand made, fresh Southern style fare, incredible buffet, so many options, steel cut oats, custom omelette station, fresh made pastries, fresh fruit, always fresh coffee.

As is always the case, if breakfast is not included, breakfast in the hotel is overpriced. There is a more reasonable option across the street. Nevertheless, the eggs Benedict were very good, as was the coffee.

Food tasted pretty good but the service was VERY slow. The server was nice and apologized many time for the wait during my experience but this combined with the slow bar next door right afterward made it an even more irritating experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel restaurant, a nice selection of southern foods. Our app sampler very very nice and our main courses of fried chicken was really good . They have a great buffet as well as a yummy dessert bar. Service was ok, one of our server was awesome while the other was not so much. Definitely worth a try, especially if staying in the hotel.

Sway Away! Everyone’s first day. I had overpriced buffet (watery eggs, hard biscuits, mushy potatoes) and husband had biscuits and gravy. His order was forgotten and then had to wait longer because we were told they had to warm up the biscuits (hence they weren’t fresh). My husband isn’t a picky eater and sent them back. Taken off our bill which was nice. Many options up and down the street, don’t waste your money on the convenience.

I was staying here for business this past week in Atlanta. I needed a place where I could grab a quick dinner. I strolled into Sway restaurant and was not disappointed. The delightful personality of my server added to the evening, along with a wonderful steak salad. The desserts do not disappoint! Enjoy!

Food is very good, prices are reasonable, and service was very good. What's not to like. It's nothing special, but if a good choice is you are in the hotel or in the area. Lots of appetizers for something light, or sandwiches and entrees for something more filling.

Checked into the Hyatt Regency at 9:00 PM and wanted a quick dinner....Sway was perfect! They have a dinner buffet that probably changes daily, but it was a nice assortment of southern comfort foods. The night we were there, I had a pickled green bean salad, peas & rice, Chilean sea bass, roasted veggies and cornbread. And they have a dessert bar! Because of the buffet, it was super quick, and delicious...not your typical hotel lobby restaurant!

I stopped in for some dessert before retiring to my room in the hotel one night. The tart that I had was very tasty, but the piece was rather small, especially for the price. I expected more.

I went to this restaurant as a part of a group dinner. He had a pre-selected dinner menu with a variety of options. Below are highlights of my experience. Food: Everything was tasty from the appetizers to the dessert options. The seafood deviled eggs were something different and worth trying again. The pimento cheese and housemade crackers were also delicious. The fried chicken, brussel sprouts (came with the salmon) and butternut squash were my favorites. I usually am not a fan of squash dishes but this ravioli won me over. Service: Everyone we encountered from the valet, to the bartender, to the servers was great. They were prompt, friendly. and knowledgeable about the menu. I am rating this experience for a couple reasons that are not a huge deal, but were enough to keep this from being perfect. The food is a bit

Adjacent to the lobby of the Hyatt Regency. Can be a little noisy cuz the wall is somewhat open to the lobby and main entrance. Food was average. We got a ribeye, caesar salad and Fried Green Tomatoes for appetizer. Those were the best part of the meal. All you can eat our bar wasn’t inviting at all the night we were there. Only 3 pies available and too rich and exotic for our taste. Our server was fine, just didn’t seem happy to be there.

I was in this restaurant twice. The food was very good. The ingredients were definitely fresh, the meals were spiced nicely. The portions were exactly right for a lunch. Thus, if you want to eat nicely, it's definitely a place to go. However, the service could be better. The first time I had a very good experience with the service. Just as it should be but the second time not, unfortunately. The waitress was at moments making me feel guilty for coming. Maybe she was tired but that's not a reason for being gruff to your clients.

If you like Southern cooking then you gotta try the shrimp and grits one of the best I have had in a long time. The shrimp were big 6 of them and the grits creamy with just the right amount of seasoning.

Stayed at the Hyatt for 1 night and went to breakfast and tried the buffet at the suggestion of the waitress. Great choice and great value as juice and coffee are included in the price. Wide variety and terrific service.

Menu definitely had a southern flair-shrimp and grits, collard greens, yum, yum. The highlight of dinner (two nights -- it was so good) was my server Randall. He was very attentive, funny and helpful. Definitely asked for him on the second visit They also offered a complimentary pie bar -- they all looked yummy, just didn't try them. I gave up on s'mores pie!

Not only is the food always good, but the staff go above and beyond to take care of your every need. Love them! Cannot wait for our next visit!!!

For those at the conventions, this is a great lunch spot for fast service and great food. You might save money by walking down the street, but if you are rained in or just don't want to leave the hotel, they will take care of you fine.

My husband was attending a conference and it was raining so we decided to eat at the hotel. We each ordered a salad--apple and quinoa for my husband and arugula, pear, golden beet, cheese and hazelnut for me. The salads were large and delicious. We both ordered the pecan crusted mountain trout with broccolini and it was also quite good. The restaurant was packed, but servers were attentive and made sure our wine glasses stayed full and food was delivered promptly. Hotel restaurants can be iffy, but Sway was quite good.

Great breakfast ate there almost every day .The complimentary breakfast at Sway was also wonderful one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I've experienced.”

Sway is a lovely place, right on the ground floor of The Hyatt Regency Hotel, it is open to the public. we had a lovely dinner there.

Trying to eat something healthy, and ordered the Cobb salad with grilled chicken. It didn't look bad, but... the chicken tasted like it somehow came out of a can and then was boiled without any seasoning at all. The cherub tomatoes were 50/50 under ripe/ over ripe and pithy. You could smell the boiled eggs over everything else, but they weren't terrible. The avocado was 50% brown. The dressing was the worst, some generic off brand ranch with a underlying sweetness. I tried desperately to fix it with a massive dose of pepper and some salt, but couldn't finish it. My wife got maybe...6 bites in and gave up. She got a cup of soup "first" that was good but only came out 15 seconds ahead of the salad. And, now I'm just nit picking, the glasses for water/tea/soda were 5oz wine glasses. Our waitress spent the whole time we were there refilling drinks at our table and the tables around us.

The kitchen has included some Southern classics on the menu which gives visitors like me a chance to try them. The server explained the menu thoroughly and I was pleased with my choice (buttermilk chicken with mashed potato and gravy with collards as a side). Good choice of wines and beers. Breakfast offered a wide choice - the oatmeal was awesome if a bit cold by the time it got to me. Breakfast service could have been a bit snappier, as folks are usually needing to keep moving at that time of day.

I ate breakfast here before my conference. It was a wonderful spread of delicious items. Prepared well and served hot and delicious.

Ashlee was our waitress and she is over the top. She was very helpful with selections and they were on point. The mashed potatoes are the best ever. They are melt in your mouth smooth. The fried chicken was good as well. The pecan pie was also good. For a restaurant inside a hotel good is above average for sure

We ate breakfast and lunch here each day of our stay at The Hyatt Regency. From the buffet, to plenty of choices on the menu, we had very good meals.

I have eaten breakfast here several times when I have stayed at this hotel. It is convenient, but expensive. The service varies greatly depending on the server, so the consistency is lacking. I have not eaten the breakfast buffet and have only ordered things from the menu. I really like the egg white omelet.

This is a good restaurant hotel and we enjoyed coming here when we were staying in Atlanta a few years back. We came here twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast and we had a good meal each time. For lunch, we had salads (fried chicken and steak salads) that were tasty and very filling. Our breakfast consisted of oatmeal and eggs and bacon, which were also very good. It's a nice hotel restaurant and a good option if you're staying here.

Everything you could ask for in a breakfast spot! Good food, good service, nice atmosphere! Hungry? Try the breakfast buffet! Don't know what you want....get some recommendations from your server!

Great selection for upscale buffets for breakfast and lunch. Get a cronut at breakfast, they were delicious!

This is a splendid hotel for a large conference. Their facilities range from a huge ballroom to breakout rooms for 20-30 people and all in between. Sway Restaurant was listed as having "cheap eats" in at least one listing. It doesn't. For chef-designed food at comparable prices, Sway is fine. If you want cheaper eats for part of your stay in the area, go through the tunnel about a half-block south to the Peachtree Center, where there are a couple of shopping-center-style food courts, with many choices.

US$ 38 for a so called buffet breakfast, most of the food must have been prepared the night before as for the most part it is stale/dry. The hot buffet food is barely warm - probably the worst breakfast value for money in town, go round the corner to the diner, less than half price and freshly cooked

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for 2 nights. I wanted to take in some of the fare downtown but got "stuck" eating in the hotel for both nights. But what a treasure... Sway is fantastic. Southern based cooking but made as fresh and as healthy as possible. The best short ribs I ever had in my life - and the next night slightly blackened rainbow treat with a crab dressing on top. The best fish I've had and I'm from the Atlantic coast! The most pleasant wait staff from a country I can't pronounce in Africa. Oh, and the southern based drinks... just fabulous (ps also had breakfast my last day -- a southern fried chicken and egg sandwich with sausage gravy on biscuit -- yum!)

I was eating dinner late on a Thursday, about 30 minutes before the restaurant closed. Iris was my waitress and although it was getting late she was possibly the friendliest person I have ever met. She took my order and brought my food and drink out but it was her ability to take time to answer my questions on where else to eat in Atlanta and where to go while I was there was amazing. Iris is an asset to this restaurant.

Lunch visit was good, service was awesome, food was good. Breakfast food was good, but service a little slow, many buffet food items were empty.

I had a business meeting in the hotel, arrived late, and thought the menu was interesting with tasty choices. I had the scallops that were perfectly cooked, on a bed of corn, and delicious, followed by the fried shrimp and okra, then the crab stuffed trout. All of the dishes were well prepared, came out hot, and were quite tasty. I was pleasantly surprised, and there were additional interesting menu choices for all palates. Overall a tasty and fun meal, and surprise.

I was staying at Grand Hyatt in downtown ATL for a conference. My colleague and I decided to get a breakfast at Sway rather than grab Starbucks and pastry. The food was good, but not really worth the price, even for the convenience of dining in the hotel. If you have time, explore the city. I bet you can find as good or better options out there!

Ate here a few times - Reasonable variety, huge portions of course as this is America, fried chicken nice - you get half a chicken which is over the top and so wasteful. Had some sweet potato pop overs - Very very sweet deep fried bites Chicken sandwich comes on a toasted burger bun - had the sauce on the side and the filling was very tasty and reccomended Wine list local and overseas and modest prices Service friendly, helpful lovely people

Met some counterparts at Sway for breakfast during a conference. Had the southern breakfast sandwich for breakfast. It was awesome! The sandwich included a biscuit, with fried chicken tenders, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy. The meal came with TWO sandwiches and sweet potato tots. Sway has good customer service as well. I recommend it.

I travel frequently, and it’s VERY unusual for me to eat in a hotel restaurant. Sway is an exception. The food is amazing, the service is wonderful and the prices reasonable -what else could you ask for? Honestly, I went there every day of the conference I was attending and loved my meal every time. Antoinette and Nicole both know exactly what to recommend and treated me like a VIP. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be here for great southern food and hospitality.

While at a business conference, I had dinner at Sway with 9 colleagues. The server was excellent and attentive. We all had different entrees and all were delicious and well presented. There were several vegetarian options including a Tofu & Vegetable bowl which I enjoyed.

we wanted a light lunch between activities, so we came in around 2pm. The lunchservice was almost over but the waitress was still very motivated. A salad and a sandwich later we were very satified with everything: tastes just perfect, the speedy delivery, .... Its not a cheap bite to just fill you up, but certainly worth it.

My experience with hotel restaurants is that they are at best, adequate. So I wasn't expecting much from Sway. I ate there twice. Once for dinner (fried chicken) and once for breakfast. The food was well prepared and surprisingly, the prices were good. Service was nice too.

Breakfast at 6:45 am on a Saturday morning. Was in Atlanta for a conference and this was the best place in the area open at that time to meet a colleague. The service is fast, friendly and attentive, but the food is way over priced. I had the breakfast buffet for $22 including coffee and juice. Lots of good choice in the buffet, including a fresh made omelet and grits, but none if it worth the price. Wish I had ordered shrimp and grits off the menu but it still would have run close to $20 with coffee. Still probably the best choice for breakfast in the Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton area.

Staying at Hyatt for conference for 6 nights, so ate here twice. Randall was a great server!! Their bar made my co-worker a great Old Fashion that he raved about. I got the chicken both times I was there and it was fabulous! Co-worker got salmon and loved it. Chef was able to accommodate his dairy free/low carb diet. Menu is not huge but everything seems to be prepared wonderfully! Don't dismiss this place as just a hotel restaurant- it's something special!!

I enjoyed trying different dishes on the Sway Breakfast menu each morning! They offer a lovely Breakfast Bar as well! The servers were impeccable and Whitney was a delight!

Recently stayed in the hotel and ended up having every dinner of my stay at Sway. Fantastic food at a decent price so I didn't even look for other options even though there were plenty of others in the area to choose from. Very friendly servers that remembered your drink choices from the night before even when they weren't your assigned servers. Highly recommend the Southern Fried Chicken!

A group of us decided to eat here because of the convenient location. Some of us were staying at the Hyatt, Hilton, and Westin downtown. I ordered the grouper, and it was overcooked. The rest of the meal was good, and the portions were huge. The waitress was very nice and friendly. This place is great for the convenience, but that's about it. I wouldn't eat here again.

I ate here five times with my wife during my stay at the Hyatt Regency, two times for dinner, and three times for breakfast. Each time, the host or hostesses at the front of the restaurant greeted us cordially. We were always seated quickly and a server was at our table within a couple of minutes. My favorite dinner selection was the Buttermilk Fried Chicken with fingerling potatoes as a substitute. We also enjoyed the Southern Sampler during one of our meals. There is also a pie bar during dinner, I sampled all of them, my surprise favorite being the Maple Grit pie. The Breakfast Buffet is very good, there is a wide selection to choose from. French toast, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and danishes were frequently on the buffet. I found myself overeating more than once. The restaurant is a pleasant setting, you can watch activity in the lobby while you eat, and it was never noisy. Probably the only issue we had come up more than once was it took some time for the servers to collect the payment after they brought us our checks. Upon leaving each time, we were thanked for stopping in which to me is important. Overall, this was a great place to dine and I would highly recommend trying it.

Not a huge memo, but what they serve is very good. Salads were very fresh. I had the potato dumpling dish, very good. Much more food than I could eat!

This was one of the few places that we tried in Atlanta that actually understood what GF means. The service was excellent.

Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about menu items. He was very attentive and available without hovering. We had the salmon and tuna salad, both great. Would return.

The breakfast buffet was average to good. Lots of choices including vegetarian options. Standard bagels, toast, cereal and oatmeal. They did attempt to make eggless pancakes for us but they didn’t turn out good at all. We are vegetarian so I’m sure others had many more options than us. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful.

Great chicken the breast was not dried out. Good crust nice flavoring from the rosemary. The gravy on the mashed potatoes seemed a bit under seasoned. No reservation needed on a Friday night about 6:30pm the restaurant was almost empty. Would definitely return the next time I am town.

Was staying at Hyatt at stopped by for a quick dinner with friends. The restaurant was totally understaffed , bartender was also the waitress for all, poor thing. Food was average , husband got a salad and steak and got the steak before his salad, they also brought us soup and we didn’t even order it. Too big of a place for one person to manage. Would not recommend unless you stood in line in morning for breakfast, it was pretty good, just don’t be in a hurry.

My wife and I were in Atlanta for a week to attend a conference and stayed at the Hyatt Regency. We went to Sway for one dinner and one breakfast. The food was fine - even better than average. What is most memorable about Sway, however, is the very poor service. First, the servers seemed to not want to be there. I will overlook some delays or accidents at a restaurant if the atmosphere is good and I believe the wait staff is trying to make me feel welcome. But at Sway, the hostess was unintelligibly mumbling and our table servers, two different ones, seemed like they would have preferred to be anywhere but where they were. If you are in no rush and are intently focused on your laptop or book, the service at Sway might be satisfactory. Otherwise, head to twenty-two story's, also in the hotel lobby.
Tasty
The food was tasty, and the staff was very attentive. Will be back once I get back into the area. Keep it up.
