We were walking around the airport getting ready for our flight and saw the TGIF. The staff was friendly and supportive. The food was very good and at a reasonable price for being in the airport. We also had a couple of triple berry smoothies. Those were worth having two of. The steak dinners were good, not the best but still very good. I would order them again. The dessert was an Oreo ice cream ball. Doesn't have a great presentation, but it does taste great.

We had good service . Our food was good and taste fresh. It was crowded but our food came quick. Waitress kept our glasses full. Would definitely eat here again.

Had the dragon glazed salmon with sweet potatos fries and mac and cheese just like my server lourdes recommended and it was delicious! By the way she was wonderful..

Fridays at the airport is nice you can get your food to go and they have a smoking area the bar. The food is decent they try hard to make their customers happy.

Natalie, Delilah, Albert and Jason are exemplary! I have stopped through Miami a few times in the last month and had some long layovers. Despite not being a smoker, I enjoy the lounge in Terminal D because of the staff and the service. It is nice to get a bit of fresh air and this location is perfect to decompress after a long flight and awaiting the next connection. Food is always good quality and their drink selection has something for everyone. I urge any traveler to seek out this location if you have a long layover in Miami.

Pretty ridiculous took almost an hour for me to get my dinner then they turned around and charged me full price where my guests that were with me were finished eating before I ever started eating we sat at the bar so the bartender went back 5 or 6 times trying to find out where my dinner was it finally took the manager to come out and go back into the back into the to the chef in order to get my dinner brought out to me

When you are at the Miami International airport and have enough time before you need to board your plane, this is a good option to consider. Their steaks are always good and especially when combined with the Jack Daniels whiskey sauce. And for the kids there are plenty of the classic choices to pick from.

Apparently I have to provide ID if I want a glass of wine, although I am way over 21 and look way over 21!! Very very insulting and disrespectful!! Worst TGI Fridays I have ever been to! I was quite happy to sit and have my meal with just a glass of water, however the waitress decided the manager needed to be involved. He was very rude, I was the complaint but he wouldn’t give me any eye contact, he couldn’t grasp the issue, he said I was disrespectful even though he was the one who was not listening or addressing my complaint. Save to say a formal complaint will be made!

On a layover and craving non-island food after 2 weeks in paradise, we chose to put our legs under a table at TGIF. This isn't your local version by a longshot. The food was decent after we had to send it back for re-cooking, the "silverware" was all plastic, and getting drink refills -- or waitstaff for any reason -- was a bit challenging. MIA has many better restaurants than this. Use one of them. We will.

Overall was a good experience. Good food and the server Chris was awesome and personable. Atmosphere was nice.

Airports meals are usually either horrible or acceptable. It was my first ever visit to TGI Friday's and I have to say I will be back. Great drinks! Fantastic dinner. Steak was big, juicy, prepared exactly how we wanted, tasty veggies on the side. It was a lovely meal.

I enjoyed every piece of my steak. The texture and temperature were excellent. Of course the straw berry lemonade is a hit.

You have several dining options in this part of the Miami International Airport. We were seated and served promptly. The menu is varied and there are many drink options. I was able to substitute tasty "super food" vegetables for fries with my turkey burger.

It's been years since I've been to a TGI Fridays. We had a 4 hour lay over and it was convenient to terminal D. Our server was so friendly. A bit tight in there with all the luggage but we made it work. The food was really tasty too.

Never da Fck again, $13 for a 12 oz draft budlight! A rip off! The waiter said the PC was misbehaving, could not print receipt, gave us one handwritten...

Burgers were good, service was good. A bit crowded but we were in and out. Prices were also very reasonable for airport food!

I was transiting between flights and grabbed a quick meal here. The service was fast and friendly, and they brought along a drink refill before I was finished my first one. I had the loaded potato skins - they were delicious and a huge portion. Too much for one person to eat. I would recommend this place. Also, if you're a smoker, they have a room for smoking opposite the main restaurant.

We had two hours to wait for our flight so we decided we had time to eat here. Well, we were glad that we did. We were seated very quickly and away from the noise as requested. Service was quick and friendly. The pot stickers were very good and my friend enjoyed her cheeseburger. No complaints. Thank you very much.

Had lunch here the other day while waiting for our flight. It was a good lunch, I had a cheeseburger and my wife had the sizzlin cheesy chicken. Her dish was very good. The service was acceptable, maybe a little slow, but not too bad. The waitress was very nice. With the location being in an airport expect the bill to be higher. However, I would recommend this to anyone traveling through MIA.

Food was below par. French Dip sandwich tasted like a roast beef hoagie and the dip au jus was very salty and not good. Sliders were tiny pieces of not good meat. Mozzarella sticks were not good at all.

Hostes said go to the bar as just one person, ok no problem... I picked up a menu that was sitting on the bar it was not that busy. I decided what to eat no one came and asked if I wanted a drink, the bar tender was more intrested in the baseball game on the tv and chatting to the waitresses no eye contact at all After 10 mins I left. There are plenty other places to eat there.

We stopped in for a late lunch while waiting for our connecting flight from Montreal, Canada to St Thomas USVI. The staff here was friendly & warm. Food was fresh and drinks were refreshing! A special shout out to Todd Vrooman, Kitchen Manager/chef who prepared a very delicious, special meal for me due to food intolerance and allergies! During our meal he came out to check if everything was alright. Thanks so much for your kindness and professionalism.

We had to stay in Miami for 3 hours before heading to JFK. We popped in here and were greeted by 2 lovely staff who showed us our table and recommended some dishes. I had the cheeseburger and fries, my partner had the vegetarian bean burger and fries. The food arrived fast, the staff were excellent and friendly, some sang along to the music playing in the background. The atmosphere was lovely. My partner is convinced it was the best bean burger she's ever had! My burger was also gorgeous. The prices were also very good as the whole meal, with drinks came to just $27. Definitely pop in here if you're in the airport, you won't be disappointed.

Found them to be very fast and food was delicious I was pleasantly surprised they try to accommodate your time frame that you have.

Very disappointing - mainly because the food served is not what is advertised on the menu. 1. My husband's strawberry waffle was an unappetsing dish of just 2 waffles, smeared with unpleasant-looking red ''jam''. When he asked where the ''fresh strawberries' were, as advertised on the menu, the server looked non-plussed and said with jam. She did however, make an effort.. and later returned to the table with a couple of sad looking strawberries that she said she had managed to get from the bar! This is not how a restaurant should be operating!... 2. My omelette with spinach, goat cheese and chopped tomatoes tasted of precisely NOTHING. It is hard to make a bad/tasteless omelette, but his kitchen managed it! The quantity of goat cheese was MINISCULE - a smear from half a teaspoon at most. The chopped tomates were precisely 6 tiny tiny pieces from the outside, hard/dry/with no softness or any taste whatsoever. The fried potatoes accompanying were so over salty they were impossible to eat. I pointed this out immediately to the server who did offer to find others. However, given we had waited more than 35 minutes for these 2 SIMPLE breakfast dishes... and were going to catch a plane, we had to decline. A disgrace and a massive disappointment. We had eaten here in the past and it was acceptable. This time it was NOT ACCEPTABLE - if we had had more time I would have disputed the bill and the very very poor standard of the food served with a manager. There was not time, so we left it. We shall NOT return, obviously.

Was really surprised that TGI fridays have also a smoking section on the terminal where you can watch sports, sip on amazing bloody mary and enjoy you cigarette or cigar by the bar. Staff is always friendly and on point. A must stop!

Had an early flight into Miami on a Saturday morning. We were looking for a place to have breakfast. Fridays had a signboard outside their restaurant that enticed us. Didn't even know Fridays had a breakfast menu. Had the western omelet but the menu has plenty of breakfast items to choose from. The food was very good and the price reasonable. Service was slow/hectic as there was only one waitress working. Would have breakfast there again if I ever pass through the airport again in the morning.

In late January many people were connecting in the Miami Airport heading north for other connections or their final destination. Snow in the north closed many airports and many were stranded in MIA. The frustration level was high and many of us hit a restaurant to try to figure out what to do when our flights were cancelled. TGI Friday's was crazy. We were able to get a seat and anticipated a long wait. Our server arrived quickly and took our drink orders. I have to admit the very cold beverage hit the spot. We ordered our sandwiches and they arrived, giving us time to find a room, and have another Blue Moon. The restaurant is a typical TGI Friday's and the food did not disappoint. We enjoyed our sandwiches and the time to figure out what to do. We were very impressed with the staff. The customers were grumpy, it was unusually crowded, and we watched the employees work together, never complain, and kept all the customers happy. It was impressive to watch true team effort during a stressful time.

Food and drinks were great. Chris, my server, was the best! Will definitely have to stop by again the next time I’m in Miami.

I ate here both going and coming from Quito Ecuador. In both cases I had a fairly long layover 3+ hours and was looking for someplace where I could sit down and have a meal and a drink without having to get my food and then eat in a Gate. Service was pretty good both times. The food didn't come out super quick but I wasn't in a hurry. Prices may have been a little bit more than a typical Friday's but not outrageous when compared to most airport prices. They had a decent selection of beers.

All tho this restaurant is in the airport, when eating there you don't feel like it. Our server "Camilo" was one of the best, he truly provide and excellent dinning service, very polite and even make a short convo even though the place was busy. The food was delicious and the price was okay. I would recommend to others. ( but if you want good service, ask for Camilo to be your server )

Had the pleasure of stopping by this location on a cigar venture to the Dominican Republic with a group of friends. We were drawn to this location because it allows smokers to relax, have dinner and a drink and light up a good cigar after the meal. It is separate from the other TGI Friday’s just across the aisle and smokers don’t come in contact with non-smokers. Great idea TGIF! We appreciate it and will continue to use this location each time we travel through your airport location!

We had the Friday's meal at an airport? By far better than any stand alone Friday's we've eaten at!! Smoking hot meal and great Bloody Mary's before boarding our flight.Bonus points for the TGIF smoking lounge across from the restaraunt in the terminal.....ALISA & FREDDY ROCK THE BREAKFAST/LUNCH SHIFT!!!!

My wife and I stopped into TGIF's during a layover. We had the Jack Daniels smokehouse burgers and fries. It was early in the morning and the place was empty. great service and food was very good also. My wife had a margarita and got carded. Kind of a compliment. I'd go back again

Good place to pass wait time in between connections, enjoyed late breakfast and drinks! Place larger than it looks with plenty of space to hang out. Staff/service good.

We ate there on the way out of the country and back in, loved it both times. The service was quick when we needed it to be outbound, and very relaxed when we had time to kill on the way home.

Great service and great food. Nice place to spend time waiting on our next flight. Food and service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Located in terminal D near gate 32. wouldn't usually visit a TGIF, but this has some of the best reviews for this terminal, with a very low bar. Ordered food quickly, took 20 minutes. 6 oz serloin looked like 3, about as big as the shrimp. Asked for medium well, came rare and like shoe leather. Also no one gave me any silverware, had to ask. Waitress took back the steak, still waiting for my chicken substitute, been fifteen minutes. Maybe I can just leave? Next time I'll try not to connect through Miami, and if I do, bring a protein bar.

average burger with average service. Came quickly. The 'enjoy a rum with any burger' advert was very misleading as no drink was included apparently. Wouldnt go out of my way to go back here. Other TGIs I've been to have been much better in terms of food quality and service!

Sign clearly states to wait at door to be seated by hostess, A female employee said someone will be with me soon before she headed to the smoking section across from the main restaurant. I waited 10mins only one in line. 2 different “white” groups of people get in line behind me. Both were waved in by employee from the bar side but I was left standing outside the establishment not even being acknowledge. I felt extremely discriminated so I left.

We loved our meal here before our flight. It was a little slow because it was very crowded when we went, but our waitress was very nice and we all loved our food. I love the big selection and often they have healthy choices and calorie counts.

Stopped in here to wait out a 4 hour delay until my next flight...was seated quickly and promptly greeted by my waitress Claudia. Suggestions and guidance on beverages and food options to me and then later to the guest seated next to me were for me, helpful but were clearly most helpful to the guest seated next to me. Few wait staff take the time and demonstrate the genuinely care for their guests and then to provide simply outstanding customer service, really sets up a positive evening for the other guests she served and made for a comfortable visit to a very busy place!

The service here is so amazing. My husband and I missed our flights and have to stay the night at the airport. Rejeane was very attentive to us. She recommended me a beyond burger and it tasted so delicious. I will definitely come back and have the beyond patty with a salad. Her smile brightened up our day.

Our meal at this airport location was ok and expected quality. We were sitting near the entrance to the kitchen and witnessed a staff person drop a stack of "to go" plastic containers. Another staffer helped pick them up and put them right on the shelf. Pretty disgusting if you ask me and wonder how many other horrors are going on in the kitchen.

good chicken sandwich and nice server. Hostess was not too attentive. Sat me first near bar and it stunk like an old bar. Not pleasant. I moved. Lot better.

Went to the Miami airport TGIF bar, after calling to check their hours. Arrived at 7:45pm to front door blocked and closed. Sign on door reiterated closing was 8pm. Having worked in many restaurants, we never once closed early. Then manager had an attitude when we questioned their closing.

Ok, so I’m not a smoker but was once. It bothers me how people who do not smoke can dictate how others can live their lives. T.G.I. Friday’s has bucked the trend by opening a smoking section in their restaurant in the Miami airport. They have limited hours of operation and there was a line waiting for the doors to open. The few hours we had to wait for our flight was much more pleasant for my traveling partner (definitely a smoker) and we had a great Friday’s meal to boot. It’s across the way from the regular restaurant but the same good food, great service and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you Friday’s for being bold and acknowledging that smokers are people too!

MIA is a stressful airport for travelers connecting from international flights. The layovers sometimes are lengthy and for those that enjoy a smoke break it was near to impossible. Thank goodness for TGI Friday's at D36 to build an open-air smoking and eating area. For those that rather not be in a smoking environment, TGI still has the non-smoking area that is totally disconnected from the new smoking building. The staff was really friendly and the food is quality and the Ultimate Margarita's are large and thirst quenching.

TGI offers ok food in an airport environment. Nothing fancy but way better than the fastfood joints.

I’ve always associated TGI Friday’s with “fun” and “good food”. No more. Located by Gate D36 @ MIA, I’ve visited this location in September and October of 2023, and found it necessary today to write that “the food is horrible”. I had the appetizer combo, and you’d thought the potato skins had been cooked 41 times - dry, crispy to the point that there was no “potato” on the skin. The “boneless wings” were not warm at all (guessing the microwaves were not fully operational). Just an all-around poor effort with “fast food”. At this location, it will be a long time before I pay another visit.

If you're a smoker and is waiting for you flight, come to TGI Fridays at D34. You can have a beer and some nuts while you wait for your flight. Much better than Admirals Club.

Ate here prior to flight. Service good, food good....would recommend. Service fast, I had a salad. Spouse had a burger.

Stopped by at this TGI whilst waiting for our British Airways Flight. Service was fast (In total from sitting down, to finish was approx 30 Mins) and the food was delicious, Just as great as you would hope from a high street TGI Fridays. Our waitress kindly checked our flight time for us too to make sure we didn't miss our plane whilst enjoying the Boneless Wings and Fries!

When we were traveling to Orlando we enjoyed our meal at TGI Fridays while waiting for our connecting flight. The place looks ok and the service is really good. I had the pecan crusted salad and my wife had the grilled salmon we both kinda shared the plates and we were not disappointed. It's not the greatest but the service makes up a lot for this review.

Friday's are usually identical all over the country. The first one I went to was in Ohio many years ago. It hasn't changed much and many competitors have joined in for that type of American food The food is reliably good. I would say that it is almost on a par with Houlihan's or Chili's, and definitely better than Applebee's .My hamburger and fries hit the right spot .What is unique about this Friday's at MIA was that if you're a smoker, which I'm not, there is a separate enclosed area for smokers. There are many other good choices at MIA, including some with good Cuban food, but at Friday's you know what to expect.

I would not try this location again. Workers were crazy disorganized, reaching over each other, orders going to the wrong tables and our waitress could only be found on rare occasion unless we asked someone else to find her.

This is a typical TGIF but on a smaller scale. The restaurant is located in the main area of Terminal D, near D37. There is bar seating as well as a variety of table sizes. The menu is general bar food of wings, burgers and sandwiches and the beer list is pretty good. Service was attentive and fast, but the servers seemed a bit inappropriate as they interacted with each other (loud, talking about inappropriate things, etc.) This was in full sight of the customers and while its nice they all "get along", it was a bit over the top. I had the boneless wings with garlic parm and they were great. They are small "bites", crispy and tasty. If you have an hour or so before your next flight, this is a pretty good place to stop.

There was a line but quick to get a seat and quick service. We ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer and it was delicious! Our main entrees were a salad and a burger and both were very good. Excellent service and with a smile. Highly recommend if you need a good meal between flights!

Generous portions and tasty food, we stopped off at TGI Friday's for a late lunch before an afternoon flight. Service was attentive, but not pushy.

We were told by a friend who had a similar transit to go and try the TGI in Miami airport. Having not been to a TGI before I expected pretty standard food, but we loved it! I enjoyed a great (and strong!) margartia cocktail along with a lovely burger. The service provided was great, especially after a long 9 hour journey from the UK. The food came out quickly and did not disappoint!

Shoutout to SAM for taking care of me. Great personality. Stop in and have the flat iron skillet. It’s delicious. Have a long layover until my next flight and figured it was a good place to grab a beer and a meal. No regrets. Cooked to my temperature.

We had a long layover in Miami and was searching for a good place to eat. Came across this restaurant. Food was excellent. Moderately priced but worth every penny. Steaks, shrimp, chicken and so much more. Great appetizers and drinks.

I want to thank Friday’s for giving me and my baby a great experience during our recent visit. It was a tough day and the airport experience is always a headache but my server was great. Claudia, was super friendly and hospitable with us. She made our 3 hour delay tolerable. Although the restaurant was busy when i was there, she constantly came by our table to make sure we were ok and always made my daughter laugh l. She is funny, diligent, and friendly. Giving her (5 thumbs up)👍👍👍👍👍

Good breakfast, in taste and size, and quick and nice service. Plus they have a separate bar/smoking lounge, the only one air-side in MIA airport.

Mini bar and restaurant across the hall from the main restaurant. Always very busy. Service is fast and friendly. Food is good and typical of TGIF. Bonus is the smoking area, a welcome destination after a long flight or a long TSA line.

Before leaving the US, we had dinner here. Great american food (as always) and as good as TGI Fridays in Norway. Eat here if you are travelling through.

I called for a drink awaiting a flight. Sat at the bar as you do. Had a menu slapped down in front of me. Asked for a drink, " that all you want" comment and attitude. Bar smelt of drains, smoke (from people or staff visiting the smoking area) looked messy and dirty. Elderly lady and gentlemen came in. Stood next to me at bar. Looked pensive, ordered some food to go on the specific request that the food be available quite quickly as they had a flight form Gate E 21 (some 15mins away) in 40 or so minutes. No problem the waitress said. Took the money gladly, quick as a flash. Couple waited, waited (it was only 30% capacity) and waited. They asked if the waitress / barperson could check. " yes will be here soon". Waited more, checked again, still no sign. In the end the lady said that they would have to leave. No reaction whatsoever from staff, non. All they interested in was themselves, talking etc, flicking of hair. They couple left with nothing after paying $28 or so for some basic finger food. No apology, no sorry will check, or which gate you are you flying from. 5 minutes after they left the food arrived. almost 45 mins later. I took the food to them at their gate - just as they were to board. Disgusting attitude by TGI Friday staff. Maybe you dont want elderly? - but maybe they had been customers of TGI for many years. Who knows, but it certainly won't get my trade anymore. There are many other places in Miami airport now that are so much more welcoming, cleaner and better staffed and better food fare.

I think this TGIF is actually better than the one back home in Cary, NC. I tried the veggie burger. It was very good. It came with fries that were also good. Of course being in an airport it is pricey, especially alcohol. But going through this international airport makes you want to have a couple before your flight back home. Whew! Overall the food was very good, would like to see more vegetarian options however. Please do something about the noise level in here. It is deafening! It might be a little quieter in the bar than the dining area. That would be the main deterrent from returning.

We all wanted salad because we had just come from a trip to one of those places where lettuce can be dodgy. The salads were quite good. The server (Jocelyn) was exceptionally efficient and kind, with a great personality. We sat there for way longer than we intended, and she didn't appear to rush us, although she probably needed the table. Only drawback - no sweet tea!

It was great to discover that TGIF was offering sit down dine-in breakfast options. Food was good, service was better. Thank you.

We visited whilst in transit through Miami Airport as a group of 4. It was very busy however our server Kim was excellent & very welcoming & friendly. The starters were very good however the main courses were served as we were still eating our starters, my main course was cold in places, where it had been standing under a heat lamp which was a shame. Pricey.

One of the better places at the Miami airport (other than fast food, Starbuck-types, etc.) for a light meal. The server suggested the All American burger ($12.70) - definitely a good choice, although it was a bit pricey for a TGI Friday's, but it's the airport. Got seated quickly, served quickly. Passing grade for our needs.

I have visited this restaurant on a number of times in the past. Service was very slow, consequently meal (ribs/ Onion rings) were overdone. No management in sight. No care from waitress either as to how the customer was doing. Paid by cash, including tip and had to ask for a copy of the receipt. Not sure about next time.

TGIF Smoking lounge always opens late horrible service employees dont know anything avoid at all costs

Waiting for my flight so I decided to go eat at TGI Fridays set down my server Alicia came up to me introduce yourself recommended a whole bunch of good food amazing drinks her service was amazing hands down one of the best service I've had

The best food you can ever have while waiting for your flight. The service at this place is pretty awesome also.

Finding an open air bar and smoking lounge in an airport in 2020 is practically unheard of...but MIA has it with TGI Fridays. I had an order of seasoned French fries, which were hot, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. My server was very friendly and attentive, and the sweet tea was perfect. Prices seem to be the same as any TGI Friday's, not jacked up because it is an airport location. The smoking lounge wasn't overly smoky. Seems to be surprisingly well ventilated. This is a great comfort for smokers on a layover. However, it is separate from the rest of the restaurant, which I'm sure non smokers appreciate.

TGI is still one of my fav ribhouse places due to the Jack Daniels sauce menu. At MIA they even have a part of the bar in an outside patio where you, nice old fashioned, can have a cold beer some food and a smoke. Great! Just great!

Busy, noisy, crowded. Ignored by waiters, I watched as others who arrived with me finished their meals. I finally called the manager, complained, and left.

Wife and I only had an hour until next flight and knew from previous experience this was an excellent place to eat. Had Stephani as our waitress. Excellent server. Attentive to our needs and made sure we got our food timely so as not to miss our flight. We each had the fried chicken sandwich and it was truly delicious! Recommend if you are in the airport, stop on in for some great affordable food.

This is your typical Friday's menu at the Miami International Airport with an open air lounge to boot. Staff is friendly and the food is fine.

I travel a lot and I appreciate it when you can get good food with good choices between flights. My wife and I normally will only find one or two things that we want to order but 70% of the menu was tempting to both of us. My wife got the Jack sampler platter and I got the baby back ribs. Both were very good. Our waiter, Rico, was very attentive and I even observed him going above and beyond his normal job and picking up things and making sure that the restaurant looked good and had a great atmosphere.

Truly a nice change from the typical fast food offered in airports. Returning from a flight and a delay in Miami, we opted to dine at Friday's. Our server was very pleasant and efficient. The meal was flavorful and nicely presented for a fair price. We will definitely stop here again while traveling through Miami airport.

I had a 4 hour layover and wanted to get something to eat. Great Burger and fries. The service was great - the only downside was the tables are very close together and I was constantly being bumped by other diners and wait staff.

I am not much of a breakfast on the go kind of girl. We stopped here for breakfast and were seated right away at a window table. They had something on the limited breakfast menu for everyone. They refilled our coffee continuously and the food was prompt, hot and delicious. The waitress asked us when we were seated if we were short on time to catch a flight. That was very thoughtful. I would recommend Fridays for breakfast in the Miami Airport for anyone. If you are short on time, just let them know and they will accommodate you.

Got seated very quickly, but after that it went downhill. Took waiter about 10 mins to come and get drink order, then 15 minutes to get a coke and a water. Waited 30 minutes to get a chicken quesadilla & pot stickers. Wont try again during layover

Host greeting people with his mask down yelling instructions. First, it is an airport and he is supposed to be masked. Secondly, screaming projects vapors which can cause Covid. This should be addressed. The second hostess tried sitting me in the dead center of a packed dining room. Seemed annoyed that I did not want to be surrounded when by the bar, there was a lot of open space. The server was efficient. Food was dropped at my table by the male host and I do mean literally dropped. Again, someone needs to teach the hosts. My meal was fairly priced and did not have an airport upcharge. No issue with the meal.

Dependable predictable casual food. Usual Friday's menu cold drinks. Did not seem like airport versions of the chain notice your Stripes card did not seem to interest them. It meets the expectation little more expensive than off airport.

If you are in MIA and want to smoke, make your way to the TGIF located at gate D36. It is a normal TGI Friday's menu, wth great drinks and snacks - perfect for relaxing with a drink and a smoke before your flight!

Very disappointed in the service. Waited 30 minutes just for our waters. People seated after us also received their food 10 minutes before we did and got comped a free dessert for their wait while we barely received an apology. The whole ordeal took almost two hours. Would not recommend if your layover is less than three hours. We will not be back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before boarding an on-going flight. Service was fast and staff was courteous. Food was every bit Friday;s food

I ordered a chicken salad, which arrived without the chicken. Hmm. When I queried it, there was no apology. I was made to feel like I was complaining. Staff rush past shouting 'everything okay?' but don't wait for an answer. Hubby loved his steak.

We ordered 3 burgers which were ok. The chicken tenders ordered by my son were over cooked and dry. The food took ages to arrive and service was minimal. To be fair our sever looked rushed off her feet whilst a large number of staff stood round chatting, hugging, kissing cheeks, etc. Not good.

I went in after long flight from Thailand and Claudia was my server. For starters, her attitude and energy was absolutely refreshing !!!! Everyone at the airport is always so blah but she legit was so lively and sunny it made my whole day so much better from an exhausting flight. Anything I needed she was so quick to get it and come right back!! She’s the best and When I go back to the airport I’ll def ask for her to be serving me again!!!

Have eaten here several times when flying through. Always very fast and efficient. Good service. And vegetarian options. Definitely our go to place in MIA.

Decided to have dinner with my family at tgi fridays and we had the great pleasure of having Alicia as our waitress. She was amazing, she was super attentive to us! She gave us refills without asking, had great knowledge over the cocktails because she recommended awesome drinks! She recommended burgers and the sheffs where amazing, cooked our burgers perfectly! Would definitely come back and try it out again! GREAT JOB!

Standard TGIFridays - the food was good. We got it to go since we were in between flights. Emily provided great service as our waitress. The woman working the front - where the line formed to get on a waiting list was not very friendly at all. Several people standing near us had the same experience with her.

Stopped in before a flight. Good selection of beer and full bar. Standard Fridays or Chain restaurant menu. Potato skins were lackluster with square plastic style cheese and some bacon with a load of grease and no green onions. Salty as hell.

Great place! The host were nice and welcoming. My waitress Alicia was fast and very friendly. It was very busy but alicia was in control. The food was really good, took a while but came out delicious.

We ate here before our international flight and it was great! Much cheaper than other places in the airport and other airports around FL. The service was quick and friendly.

TGI Friday's does a good job of serving up better food options than its competitors, as well as some decent cocktails. What makes this branch a winner though is the separate smoking lounge, directly opposite the main restaurant. This lounge offers the same food and drinks as the main restaurant, but as it's technically outside - albeit covered - smoking is permitted, while strong fans do a good job of keeping the atmosphere okay for non smokers. The restaurant is situated only a few yards into the D gates concourse, so is easily accessible from other gate concourses too.

I'm starting to think this is the best chain for airports. The food was great. The service wonderful. They are attentive and friendly.

The food was cold and I asked to speak to a manager and was greeted by a “Karen” well her actual name is “Nina” but Karen fits her better…she was very rude and nasty and ha the audacity to tell us there’s plenty other restaraunt in the airport we can go to. I will never go back to this establishment and she needs to.take a courtesy class.

I had a long layover at the airport in Miami. TGI Fridays offered me the opportunity to sit, relax and eat a healthy meal of salmon and vegetables. While I ate and sipped beer to unwind, I reviewed the photos of my vacation in Jamaica.

We ordered a sampler appetizer platter: the worst potato skins I've ever eaten. Jonathan provided good service. TGI Friday's needs to improve this food; even their famous green beans were bad.

Everything you expect at Friday's but much faster service. There is also a separate bar and food area for smokers.

The food was really great. The service quite good. The ribs was perfect.........quite a lot so after eating there was left overs

After having the worse morning my husband , kids and I decided to stopped by TGI Fridays for a quick bite. Our server Lordes recommended the tostado nachos , bucket of bones and cheese sticks.. delicious!! For drinks my husband had a fat tire and and for me she recommended the island bliss and let me tell you it was amazing! The kids had slushies. She checked on us and made sure we were okay even though the restaurant was busy! Highly recommend the place and the server.

The food was delicious, and the wait staff were so beautiful and professional that I might just have to leave NYC and come back to Miami to eat there again! 5 STARS!!!

Had an extended layover at the Miami International Airport. Thought I'd get a bite to eat to nurse a hangover. Yes not the wisest decision before a travel day but here I am. Ordered the meatless burger and it delivered. It was served with fries with salt and pepper just the way I like them. I didn't need to add ketchup or anything to this meal. They way it was served was just the way it's meant to be eaten. I will without a doubt be stopping by TGI Friday's again.

I'm a fan of TGIs normally you get what you expect. This TGIs left a horrible taste in my mouth. We had a half rack of ribs and shrimp and a full rack of ribs. None of us felt well afterwards. My advice to other travellers is DO NOT eat here.

perfect to avoid flying with an emoty stomache. Tipp for smoker: This TGI Fridays has an outdoor smoking area in terminal D which is also accessable from terminal E for their guests. If you order something you can smoke.

Turned up and we got seated straight away. Nice to use proper cutlery, something that is often missing at Airport eateries. Menu was very restricted and pasta did not feature at all, however the food came out hot. Our server was on the ball, offering regular refills with a smile. Overall very pleased and it does what it says in the tin. Highly recommended.

We didn’t have to wait long. They are very busy which made the service a little slow but still good. It is a busy airport. Most importantly, the food was very good.

The highlight of using Miami airport, which is always terrible for incoming travellers. Is Our visit to be TGIs . The Gluten free burger was excellent, the long island ice tea was fantastic also, Service was great fast and place is very clean. Two burgers and 2 long island ice teas for $56 , great value.

Even when this TGI meets all visual characteristics of common TGI's, it lacks of food preparation as many of the other branches out there. I ordered Jack Daniel's Ribs and every time was different cooked and quality.

Airport smoker lounge at gate D 36 Miami airport: Cool outdoor bar with tasty food. Had delicious mozarella sticks. Was very nice before my flight.

The hostess sat me in a remote section of the restaurant. Do not let this happen to you. The server was slow in arrival, but I had time. She arrived with the food, which was about average in taste. Frankly, it is one of the better restaurants in the D concourse, but this time did not impress. Refills were nonexistent and I was ready to leave by the time I paid.

This TGI Fridays at Miami International Airport in Miami is a reliable source for a good meal while at the airport. I like their menu and atmosphere here and have had a good experience every time I have come here. The staff here is very attentive and helpful when you need them.

If you ask, you might get a booth. I did. Baby back ribs -- must order. Smoothie -- yes. The food had flavor and i enjoyed eating and working at the same time. The waitress was accommodating. The bus service was very active. I actually enjoyed the experience. Now, be sure you walk into the 'right' TGI Friday's. What does that mean, old curmudgeon? Well, it means there is a SMOKING lounge side, across the hall, and there is a Non-Smoking Side. No kidding.

If you are in a rush and need to catch a flight (of course why would you be at the airport) do not eat at this restaurant. The food is ok but the time it takes to arrive is ridiculous. Our food took over an hour to arrive to the table. First two meals arrived, then 20 minutes later two more meals, then one meal arrived 10 minute later with the final meal an HOUR after we ordered. Spoke to manager got nowhere. 18% service charge automatically added to all bills so BEWARE! Barely made it to the plane and had to get to go boxes. I know the waitress did not submit our order and when we asked where the food was she realized her mistake. The kitchen could not manage to have all the food out at one time. When the waitress took our order she even said she'd have the kids food come out first. Never happened! Avoid this restaurant, go somewhere else.

very good food before embarking. very ice vefu nice dinner befor embarking. veri good bbq ribs. and fries.

The food was great, we really liked our server Camelia, very helpful, much recommend, would food here again

food was great had the jack Daniels ribs and shrimp the meat fell off the bone. I couldn't finish it was so filling. Potatoes skins to start (shared of course!) Tracey our waitress was attentive funny and personable. Great experience will happily fine here again.

The personnel was very polite and helpful. The food was ready very quickly. The salad was very tasteful. The steak was amazing. The cooking was excellent. The entire dish was an excellent choice. Definitely recommended. Prices were very logical.

The half rack of ribs weren't that meaty, and the waitress brought the salad at the same time as the ribs. It was convenient and decent.

I was shocked to see that this restaurant had a section for smoking - didn't we get rid of that years ago? Anyways, it is your typical TGIF food, Just like the one back home. It is nice to be able to grab your favorite app and drink while waiting for your flight.

best burger in town and a nice view of the beach and ocean. The long wait for service. Jack Daniels burger is top

Good service, good food, hectic environment but still some of the best food in the airport. The most interesting thing of note, they also have a smoking restaurant across from the main restaurant. I guess it's a good option for the smoker, nothing we wanted to explore but definitely an option for the smoker.

Waiting for our flight out and wanted to eat. Saw a TGIF and said let's try it We had samplers plate. With potato skins and cheese, chicken wing's and cheese stick's. It was all good. Hit the spot.

After being refused service at Clubhouse One for being alone, I wandered over to TGI where they were very friendly and happy to seat me. I think the server was Trisha who looked after me. I had the chicken salad with apples and nuts and it was one of the best salads I'd ever had. For some reason I find this restaurant noisier than others but that could be because they warrant more customers by being friendlier and having better food. Thanks for serving me!

This is a limited menu Friday's with all of the faves, but not everything. You get your food in 10-15 minutes guaranteed. The restaurant is near the E1-35 and D30-32. ABSOLUTELY DEAD! If your gate isn't near here, I recommend to avoid this because of its proximity to the rest of the D terminal. Chances are, your gate is D10-20 and D40-60. These are all on the main stretch of the terminal, but Friday's isn't on the main stretch. If you have time and want to go, take the Skytrain. (Just don't go to passport control on accident) The food is good, just watch out on the location.

We had a great breakfast here. Staff was good and the food was what you'd expect from a mid class restaurant.

My wife and I are senior citizens and eat small meals. While waiting during a layover we decide to get a quick bite to eat. We wanted 1 egg , bacon and toast . The only small portions they had was a kids breakfast - so we said okay - waitress and manager both wanted to charge us $3.00 more for the same amount of food. They did not have a senior menu so they basically wanted to force us to buy a large $12.00 breakfast that we would eat only a small amount and waste the rest in the trash. These people do not care about their customers. They told us to have a safe flight and pretty much told us to go away without serving us I have been traveling for business all over America and many tomes I have stopped at a TGI Fridays for food but because of these 2 employees we will NEVER set food in your restaurants again. The owners of TGI Friday needs to know that their policies toward senior customers will cost them dearly. I have brought as many as 20 people as a business group meetings before - but because of this policy and the way we were treated I vow to NEVER bring another business group to any of your restaurants. So by you charging us $6.00 more because we ordered a small kids breakfast we walked out for good. I own 7 companies and I am so upset about this that You can be sure that every attendee at my business meetings will hear this story about your lousy, uncaring policy toward seniors. I would highly suggest that you offer a senior menu or let seniors order a smaller kids menu. TGIF customer service is below a 1 in my opinion.

Leaving from terminal E, we wanted to sit down and eat a cooked meal. There’s really nothing at terminal E, so we headed to terminal D. Much better shopping and food choices. We chose TGI Friday’s, staff weren’t the best. But then in my experience they usually aren’t great. But our meal was delicious. Cooked well, nice and hot and tasted great.

Always a reliably good choice of meals with generous portions. The service was friendly and the facilities very clean. With the rubbish served on planes today it is better to get to the airport earlier and eat here and then once on board you will be able to relax or fall asleep and avoid trying to appear grateful for the sludge served on board.

Our family ate here between flights. The wait times were long and service was terrible. We basically ordered salads and it took over 25 minutes to get our food. Our server was quite rude when we asked for the check and the food to be put in to go containers. Definitely won't ever eat here again while in Miami International Airport!

The welcome was good and the waitress was quite attentive. We were served quickly and the cocktails were pretty good. Food was acceptable for a fast food restaurant at the airport.

Passing through Miami, decided to get a quick bite to eat and a drink. Our service was average and our food was typical TGI Friday food. Nothing special, just a good quick place to get in and out of.

Staff are still active and friendly but the quality of the food has taken a big step towards the bottom. A loaded potato that was like glue and tasteless other than the bits and pieces of bacon. A dish to be avoided. But worse still they ran out of spiked glazed orange sauce...really...the ribs were the driest ever . I doubt the wine in label represented the brand....a cabernet that does not cling to the glass is not a Rodney Stong unless it is cold like this one or days old. Sorry. Not happy. Will go elsewhere in the next few weeks when I return

I ordered steak and eggs and a margarita. My steak was prepared medium, as I requested. The scrambled eggs with cheese were pretty good (too many restaurants overcook the eggs, and/or slap a slice of cheese on top, instead of mixing the cheese in with the eggs). They were a little stingy with the jelly for the toast though. Must be conserving condiments. I enjoyed the margarita; it was very well made. Still, I think that $12+ for that small glass was a bit too much, even if we are in an airport. Our server, Gabriell, was ok, but she came by to check on just a bit too frequently. My friend and I were in the middle of a conversation and it seemed like every 5 minutes we had to stop to tell her (for the umpteenth time) that we were fine. I understand being proactive, but this was a bit much. That aside, we had a pretty good visit. It was a great way to fuel up before our flight.

Food before a flight! but the service was a bit slow and it is obvious everyone is flying out somewhere ! So we were watching our time. The food was very good and very good size portions for the money. Presented well and hot! This was my first visit to a TGI Fridays! And was pleased with the vegetarian black bean burger I ordered I just hope its on the English menu.

Our server Nick was awesome. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the service was fast. Thanks Nick!

Despite being a member in two different airline clubs I always seem to wind up at this TGI Fridays when I have a layover at Miami. Cold draft beer, good food, quick service, and if you're Gate is anywhere near the D30's range it's very convenient.

TGI Friday's smoking lounge near Gate D-36 at Miami International Airport is a covered, non-air conditioned, outdoor bar, restaurant and smoking area. The is a one drink minimum. The smoking lounge is always busy and the bartenders and wait staff are friendly and efficient. Food service is provided by the TGI Friday restaurant across the hall and food quality is good.

Host was rude and was slamming his phone down when we arrived. Took us one way to a table and then another our server Nazlin was horrible and we waited forever for our check, finally another server brought it. Food was good but the cocktails and beer were way overpriced.

A great spot of pre flight grub from TGI Fridays. Being British, we had to try the American TGI’s. It’s so different to the UK! I went for the chicken and avocado sandwich and my partner went for the ribs. Both great and the service was fairly speedy (needed for an airport).

We were in-transit off a cruise and stopped at TGI Fridays at the airport. It was a very pleasant experience. We had a very good meal, and our server, Ricardo, was excellent. Not only was he efficient, and friendly, he showed that he cared about the service he was providing. A great asset to TGI . Also, the food was very good - Hot and cooked properly.

Nice place with American-style bar to get a drink and to smoke before leaving. It is located at terminal D and there are TVs where to even watch the games. The staff is quick and very friendly. We did not eat and we cannot make any comment on the food. Obviously for the smokers this place attracts more to the possibility of smoke which for the rest.

I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat there. It was quite noisy and busy. However it was nice to sit down with a beer and be able to smoke, after a long flight and the next flight onwards cancelled for three hours. The staff were friendly and welcoming but had to work very hard. Hopefully I will not have to go through Miami airport again as it was not a pleasant experience. If I do I will return to TGI Fridays.

Service was slow and I felt like we had been forgotten. The restaurant needed to be cleaned better. It looked like our table had never been pulled out and cleaned between it and the wall. The floors were ok but we were sitting in the bar area and they needed to be cleaned as well.

Prior to flying home after touring the region we popped in for breakfast. We were put in a quiet corner which made me think we might be ignored but I need not have feared. Our waiter (Mike - give that man a round of applause) was simply incredible and everything you would expect from a good waiter. Nothing was too much trouble and he was there when we needed him but not in sight when we did not. Food was very tasty and Mike anticipated everything from more water to bigger coffee mugs and refills. It makes life so much more enjoyable and this was a guy who worked his socks off for us to make our experience the best. Well done Mike and thanks.

The hostess was less than welcoming and did not give me a breakfast menu at 9:00. She did not want to be there. The server was fine. The breakfast was good. They did not skimp on the eggs. A good option in an airport.

Food was not only reasonably priced, it was very good. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, but hostesses left a lot to be desired. They seemed irritated and their workstation was very messy.

My wife and I grabbed a quick bite before catching our flight. The drinks were refreshing and the food was good till my wife found a long black hair in her entrée. Yuk ! Hope hair nets are required in the cooking area. Probably won't eat here again when going through this airport.

We were sat immediately and Erica was our server. She was very professional and efficient. We ordered wings and broccoli. The wings were decent. Nice smoking patio option. Erica was quick with our drinks and refills. Busy place, but they will take good care of you!

We ate here last week enroute to DC and met some interesting folks. Returned today and ask for Waitress T but she worked earlier. Sipping on Apothic red blend.

We visited TGI Fridays in Miami Airport during a layover, after a 9hr flight to Miami and another 6hr flight to come we needed some good food. We had the boneless wings with fries which were fantastic and the service we got from Chris was even better, make TGIs your Miami Airport restaurant of choice.

Almost anywhere is better than here. Started with the staff not understanding what to do with 9 people that wanted to be sat as a 4 top and a 5 top. (adult table + kids table) The drinks took forever to come out. We would get a couple here and there while items like diet coke and lemonade failed to appear. Other tables that came in after us and ordered after us got theirs first. When we brought this up to the waitress, she said that the bartender was in charge of the drinks and was doing this in order. The bartender doesn't do sodas. She then told us that they were out of Jim Beam. (20mins after ordering) The replacement Makers and ginger came out with 2 lemons in it. Still no lemonade for the kids who now had their food but no drink. We brought this up to the manager who made no apologies but said that they got "bum rushed". I watched the restaurant slowly fill up. They were just incompetent and couldn't handle it. This is a corporate restaurant at an airport. They should be able to handle the ebb and flow of airport travel. I rarely write bad reviews but this place really deserves it.

Enjoyed TGI Fridays at Miami Airport. The service was fast and efficient and the breakfast food was tasty.

We had two hours before a flight on a busy weekend and the concourse was crowded and noisy. We were seated a a quiet seat by the windows and the waitress was bubbly and happy. Food was very tasty and it arrived quickly. A relaxing meal before the pressures of a full flight during Spring Break at the Airport.

All four of us had fantastic meals!! Service was great and fast and we were able to catch our flight in a timely manner!!

Just flew through MIA again and had a layover of several hours. As I was standing outside having a smoke a guy that works at the airport came over and we started chatting. He told me that there was a designated smoking area inside the airport. When I asked him where he told me it was TGI Friday's. He was right! Right across the "hall" from TGI Friday's "original" restaurant there is another, smaller TGI and it IS a designated smoking area. So now you can stay inside the secure area of the airport, have a drink, (soft drinks and coffee available), order food and light one up. The only draw back is that it's an open air facility, which means no air conditioning but it's still better than having to leave the secure area and deal with TSA again. So, if you're a smoker, hang out, have a drink, grab some food......it's about time!

The burgers here are very good. The cost is not much more than some of the fast food options but so much better and more relaxing.
Great meal and service while
Great meal and service while waiting on our connecting flight. Grey was wonderful. Did not rush us at all. Very helpful and pleasant.
