Brittany gave exceptional service. Great customer service and pleasant personality. She makes exceptional drinks. Fast service.

Everybody was nice and friendly. Waiter and Cooks made sure the food was well done and the drinks was good. I highly recommend.

How was excellent- hard working, polite, friendly. Had a very busy section and stayed right on top of it all. Great place for a meal

Never again. Arrived at 5:30 and wasn't seated until 6:40. There were so so many people waiting, at least 35, lined up at the door. There was at least 20 tables empty. I asked the guy who takes your name when you check in why those seats weren't being filled with us waiting, hot, hungry customer and his reply was "We don't want to blow up the kitchen". ??? Finally seated and 3 different alcohol drinks that my friend ordered were not being served as they were out of a certain ingredient?? That took almost 15 minutes of back and forth. Finally we got our order including apps. She was slow to bring the apps back inbetween ordering/eating /finishing them. The last time she brought out our mozzerella sticks there were 4 mushy ones on a small serving plate. My friends turkey burger was missing the cheese that he requested. The waitress tried her best (Coriene).? But I would never step foot into this place again. My friend used the bathroom and will send pics to the corporate office tomorrow. DIRTY AND DISGUSTING. Not worth the money spent or the long long hot wait. There are so many more restaurants on City Line Avenue. Understaffed and the girl at the front taking names had an attitude. Calling corporate office tomorrow. Wish I would have read these reviews first. You aren't missing anything. Stay away from here! I'm warning you.

The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it to satisfy our hunger. The issue was the service - it was nonexistent. I don't know what has happened to customer service, but in a restaurant it is paramount!! Our server was young and maybe it was her first job, but someone should have been helping her if it was. She barely spoke a word and when she did she was so quiet we couldn't hear. She never came back to check on us. We had to ask her for napkins, more water, and the check. Each time she didn't say anything - no thank you, anything else, etc. Too bad because the food really was pretty good. We would never go back there because of the terrible service.

Back in the day .... This Friday's was one of the first in the area. For many years (perhaps even a decade or so), the lines would wrap around the building, it was so popular (hard to believe now as it's genre has become so pervasive). It had great drinks and the food was pretty decent. While I have dined at other Friday's around the country (with decidedly mixed results), I haven't been to the Philly Fridays in a long time. So it was with great expectations that I returned with my family and elderly parents for a birthday dinner. It was awful. The service was mediocre at best (long wait for food...which ended up cold). Food was terrible (Friday's frozen food tastes immeasurably better) and the place looked seedy and rather unkempt. We did ask to speak to the manager who came to our table right away. He took a couple entrees off our bill and gave us a coupon-like discount. But never once tried to make up for the poor service or food (not even suggesting recooking the food, or offering a free dessert). Quite odd. Though the cynic in me says this must happen so frequently, he feels he can 'muscle' his way through such issues. If the TGI Fridays corporate types read this review, I suggest you take a strong stance on cleaning up your act in your franchises. Cleaning up the restaurants, and emphasizing training in you kitchen and wait staff. My fabulous memories of the Fridays of the past have now been totally decimated by the travesty of the Fridays of the present. Very sad.

Stephanie is the best. Memory out of this world. Customer service shows years of experience. I dine here often, and often look for her

Melissa is the best we love coming to fridays for Melissa specifically. She always on her game and she takes care of me all the time.

I love this place. I have been coming here for years! This is always my to go to place. The customer service is awesome. Tonight I had Tory and she was great. Excellent communication skills, and the drinks were amazing.

I love Steph, Melissa, Brit and John. They are very welcoming, fun and funny. Their services are great and have an awesome vibe!!!

Melissa did a great job today the bar was busy and she went above and beyond for my picky self. she had a large group of people when i arrived so i thought that we wouldn’t be catered to because she was so busy but boy was i wrong. She catered to our every need and she took care of every single guest with ease. i was very impressed she did so good I will be back to see her wednesday.

Melissa did an excellent job with her service. She is very talented at making drinks and again the service was outstanding considering the other bartenders at Fridays usually have an attitude for no reason. Melissa was super nice and she knew the menu and informed me of the pork products unbeknownst to her that I don’t eat pork. Thanks Melissa for the amazing service!

Upon entering it was busy understandable, Wait was about 30-45 minutes no problem. However, when they sat us down it took them almost an hour for someone to come to the table to even ask us for our drink order. Finally, the waitress comes and asks us for our drinks. Another 20 minutes she comes out with one drink not the second one nor did she leave a straw. Another 15 minutes she came back with the drink and was like oh I forgot to give you a straw. She asked would we like to start with appetizers, and we told her were ready to give that and the order considering the wait time for everything. Another 20 minutes out comes our appetizers. She then stated the food will be out in a few minutes well another 20 minutes out comes the food. I ordered the steak Medium. It was well done, and it was so hard I didn't even eat it. The mashed potatoes tasted old. Just terrible. My son ordered boneless wings and he was finding all kinds of bones in the mix. It was just the worst experience. The music was so loud you couldn't even talk. I wasn't crazy about the place from the beginning but after this experience I will never go to another one. The one off of City Ave needs new management. Even the employees were making comments about the work environment not good when customers are hearing all this. Never again!

It wasn't as bad as some o the reviews I read, but it still wasn't great. Our waitress and most of the staff were nice, but we only got checked on about three times throughout our entire dinner. The crowd in this Friday's was very rowdy, to say the least. Security was called. Also, don't get the turkey burger.

I've ordered here twice and dined in once. Food is ok. my last take out order was missing an entire meal. thank goodness I checked before leaving.

Came for dinner as it was tight in front of our hotel….. should have drove w bit. While the server was good, rest was terrible. Upon entering we couldn’t help but notice a sticky the floors were everywhere, from the entrance all the way to the table. The restaurant has a raw sewage odor all over , They were not busy. It was a Sunday night and not even a third of the restaurant full. We ordered two entrees, two appetizers and two drinks, the entrees came out before appetizer, one of which was chips and salsa , simple right… food was cold, and to top it off- the ‘chicken and shrimp sizzle was not sizzling at all, they even use cold slices of american cheese the kind in plastic, to top the meal and didn’t even bother to melt it.. yuck . See pic and pic of description. Wont ever return !

After a long drive, my wife and I were starved. Are hungers were satisfied after our dinner here. Mary, our waitress could not have been any nicer. Our food was prepared as ordered and hit the spot.

We stayed the the Crowne Plaze Hotel across the parking lot, and ate at TGI Fridays both nights we were there. Interesting crowd - including formerly semi-famous rapper and his posse! Very crowded and very busy. Saturday night there were THREE security guards working the restaurant.... However, the servers were super-friendly and the food was good. Good enough that we went two nights in a row.

It’s always great service when I come whether it’s Steph, Melissa or John. It’s always a great time and a welcoming atmosphere. Steph is the best and always make use want to come back. Along with her always remembering our favorite meals and names!

Our waitress tried her best to make up for the kitchen. But our food took over an hour to come, my french fries came out after I was done eating the rest of my meal, and the music was obnoxiously loud. This place needs help and I will likely not return to any TGI Fridays anytime soon.

Our group of 12 was seated quickly and in a private area. We did not have reservations and offered to sit in smaller groups but they accommodated us very well. Our waitress was very helpful and the manager stopped by to see if everything was satisfactory.

Armani was great. She was friendly and had great customer service. She was very attentive to our needs. She is definitely a great employee.

I had one of the most great experiences here at Fridays they had a Dj the food was good and the drinks were amazing and most importantly my server britt was amazing…..thank you brittt

Great service pleasant smile . Amani did a great job . Listened and pleasant . Good with timing . Worker of the month . Give this woman a promotion

After 45 minutes we still had to wait for our appetizers even though the place was only half full. Beers took 30 minutes. Never again.

The second I walked in I encountered the worst customer service. I walked in and found two people working the first desk. One girl looked at me and then turned her back to me. The other girl working the desk said "Can I help?" I asked for a to go order and all the girl said was "see that guy over there". I walked over to another girl at a Micros and asked to place a to go order and she just said to me "go to the bar". I went to the bar and the first girl I encountered when I arrived ran up to me and actually said to me "I told you to go see the guy over there." I finally found the actual "to go" person and he then says to me "whatta want tonight". At this point I was pissed off and said "a menu" He actually sighed and pointed to where I could find a menu. Finally I was able to place an order and thankfully it was to go. The food was great but I will never step foot in that dump ever again, not until they get actual servers who can serve guests.

Food fair. They have a deal going on with.appetizers. Buy selected at $10 and get unlimited refills. No doggy bags. Service very slow even during the lunch crowd. Atmosphere, it.could be cleaner. The menus were dirty. So.wash your hands after.

Food was typical of a TGIF but over server was terrific. Serena was a wonderful young woman. We had drink and dinner; the salmon was excellent. Our other entrée was grilled chicken which was excellent too.

Terrible Service, bar tenders run around talking to each other and ignore customers unless you call them out. Asked for my check and waited for 30 mins, my bar tender kept saying he is waiting for the ticket. Watched many people return food. Tried to use a TGIF coupon which really confused the staff. All in all wish I had cooked my own dinner or gone to Chilis

This is a very busy restaurant so leave a good half an hour to an hour to wait for your table. Food was good

Quick friendly service and good food. Great outing! Love the baby back ribs! Our server was very personable and food delivered in a timely manner.

This T.G. I. Friday's was a little skp-hop-jump from our hotel, the Crowne Plaza, Philadelphia West. The food was very good but the service was S-L-O-W for a Tuesday night!!

My grandson and I meet there every 6 to 8 weeks. This is because of its location half way between his Center City home and my suburban home, I.E. its location serves a purpose. We do not expect gourmet food and are not unhappy that we do not get it. It has been very noisy at times and yet today it was very quiet. Ergo, service was prompt and well appreciated. .I have had much better food and , yes, much worse Go there if you want average restaurant chain cuisine and you are in the neighborhood and you do not plan to spend a lengthy time savoring the cuisine or the atmosphere.

It is always a great service that Brittney gives & shows. Friday's is very very lucky to have such a people person as well being a pleasant kind person.

Dinner here on a Thursday night. It wasn’t busy. Although our server was friendly - everything was so slow. It took a long time for the server to initially get to our table and then a long time for the food to arrive. We never got any drink refills. Two out of our four orders came out wrong. One was sent back to be fixed and came out wrong again. Frustrating meal.

I haven’t been here in a while, but decides to go back give them a second chance my server Laquon one word amazing. He was very warm and welcoming . It seems like he had multiple rules in the store he was hosting as well as serving and very. Time as well walked around the store to make sure guess satisfied I will definitely recommend Fridays .

When my co-worker and I arrived there was no host / hostess and the wait staff was disorganized trying to seat customers. However, our waitress was delightful and very attentive.

Always a great time at TGIF. Stephani is great and I’m always amazed how she remembers our last convos. Reminds me of Cheers.

This TGIFridays is loud, like most others we've visited, but the parking is free and there was no wait. We enjoyed 5 apps for $22 - Thai pork tacos, tuna crisps with avocado, parmesan meatballs, sesame steak skewers, Reuben sliders, all nicely plated and plenty for two - a great deal. Sam Adams Rehel IPA on tap. Join the Stripes club for points and perks!

I had a wonderful experience with Alondra, she’s provide great service, we love her personality, the food was good and my strawberry margarita taste amazing. Thanks to Alondra wonderful service and smile we will back with her.

Friday's is always the right spot for sports, social, family lunch & dinner with a business meeting or outing with co-workers. Don't believe me try for yourself. Bar friendly as well as table server's.

Decided to go here because it was right by out hotel. We went in and put our name on the list and was told 10 min wait...10 min later we check back and our name is crossed off in the list. Not once was our name ever called. The hostess scrambled and got us seated. The music was so incredibly loud i couldn't hear my husband over it. It was more like a club atmosphere than a restaurant. On another note, our waiter was phenomenal. Just would've been better if the music hadn't been blaring!

I haven’t been to this location in a few years but I decided to come tonight and have dinner with my hubby. It was definitely better than before. Food was good service was excellent and the atmosphere was chill.

There aren't a lot of places to eat in this area, but skip TGI Friday's. The service here is terrible, and it very crowded all the time. Food doens't live up to other TGI Friday's either.

rude staff ... took over an hour for a salad ... no one seemed to care

Not the best Fridays restaurant. Appears to be one of the older style Friday's. Could use stand to be refreshed. Service was ok but a little on the slow side considering it was 1:30 and past the lunch rush. I had the Rueben and the bread was overly toasted, dry and the corned beef was cold. Disappointed. Probably won't be topping there again.

This Friday is exciting and a place to go. They have a singles and karaoke celebration on the 4th Saturday of every month. How lucky was I to experience the great service and exciting atmosphere. The food was on point as well as the customer service was outstanding! The karaoke was hilarious as well as the single program attraction. You must visit this Friday's to experience the magic!

Super crowded and loud at all times of day/night. Annoying patrons and less than interested/motivated servers. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Would choose any other restaurant in the area before coming back to this particular location.

Made reservation for 5pm via Open Table. Got there at 4:40 pm, host said to wait and will call name. Checked back at 5:20pm, could see the host IPad, the person had Cancelled our reservation. Server got my Friends order wrong, so on top of the wait for a table, completely disregarded what was asked. Then when we attempted to advise her, she starting stating a completely different meal. Paid with card, server only gave me a Guest Copy and nothing for me to sign. I then went to the host to get a copy so I could sign. This is very concerning.

The bartender Stephanie was amazing!!! I really enjoyed the good energy and vibes. I'd definitely recommend to friends

Went to Fridays for dinner last night and had to wait 35 minutes to be seated at a table that was open, when we first walked in. While the food was good, i left there with a very bad taste in my mouth. The waitress brought the bill in the middle of dinner, and when i gave her my credit card, she returned the signature receipt, but not my card. When i asked her for my credit card, she acted like she had given it to me, and went back and forth several times to the kitchen, glancing our way. She went through her pockets, insisting that she had returned the card. The manager looked out from the kitchen several times, but never came out to address the situation. After about 10 - 15 minutes of me becoming increasingly agitated about the fact that they had my credit card and i wanted it back, she finally returned my card. Needless to say, i was very upset. I do not think it was lost. The bill was NOT handed to me in a black book, like most restaurants do, where you can stick your credit card in the top, and YES, i am concerned about what may have happened with my card, when it was in their possession. I called back today to wage a complaint and was placed on hold for 15 minutes, until I hung up. I am writing this review in hopes of warning & helping others. .. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DINING AT TGI FRIDAYS ON CITY AVENUE!

Chose Friday's out of convenience as it shared the parking lot with the Courtyard. My waitress Miranda was very good and attentive. The ribs and sides were also good. The side salad was a nice size. The service from the kitchen was a bit slow considering the restaurant wasn't all that crowded. It's such a family place it was very noisy. And one of the busboys was very loud, sometimes speaking across the isle to other workers.

My bartender Samir was wonderful. Samir was very caring, very demure, very cute!!!! A time was had ☺️ Samir needs a good raise

Danielle was an amazing server, food came out fast even though she had a full section . Salad was delicious also and will definitely come back

The place was clean. This location was extremely busy and we expected to wait quite a while before being seated, to our surprise, we were seated quickly. The service and the food were great! The place was full and was a bit noisy, but we enjoyed the atmosphere.

I don't typically spend time reviewing chain restaurants because if you've been to one, you've been to them all. This one, however, earned itself a review for being one of the worst dining experiences I've EVER had, anywhere. I can understand being understaffed and overwhelmed, but this experience was absurd. We figured out what we wanted before anyone ever even came to the table, the wait seemed endless. When our waitress finally came over we placed our order for everything at once—appetizers, drinks, entrees, and four waters—who knows how long it would've taken for her to return. More than fifteen minutes later we got our waters, sorry, we got 2 out of 4. When we asked the young woman about our drinks, her reply was grade-A service, "I don't know, I'm just a food runner." Her words, not mine. Way to be a team player. We waited long for the appetizer, yes, just one. We waited even longer for our entrees. They arrived sporadically, same as the drinks. The ribs tasted as though they'd been frozen after being cooked at some point. They were tough like rubber, dry, overcooked, and just not good. The fourth entree, when it finally arrived—brought to us by "just a" food runner—was not what was ordered. When we told her it was the wrong item, she said she "didn't know" what it was. That's nice, she just kept getting bonus points. We waited the longest for my drink, which apparently must be made with liquid gold, or Red Bull. Apparently they keep the Red Bulls locked up and it takes more than 40 minutes to have one unlocked to prepare a drink. We even offered to buy one from the pharmacy for them just to have the drink made. Despite having requested a refill on the strawberry lemonades more than 3 times, we never got those either. Hey, did I mention we never even got the most basic thing? Those other 2 waters. We had initially spoken to the manager, Lawrence, about the "just a" food runner, simply because we just didn't want her at our table after the first encounter, but after most items made it to the table, I asked for him again. I gave him the rundown of all the unfortunate issues with the service, how things arrived sporadically, incorrectly, poorly-prepared, or not at all. After he "fixed" our bill it was no surprise to me why that place operates so poorly. The final resolution was not at all to our satisfaction, just like the food, the service, and the management. By that point the only thing that had been consistent was the poor service, I wanted to give him the opportunity to rectify the situation and do the right thing. Unfortunately, Lawrence clearly needs to be retrained to bring his management skills up to standard. Considering what a disaster the service had been up to that point, I was expecting more. A word of advice from someone who works in the service industry, when a customer is already annoyed with your establishment, it isn't your best option to try and lighten the mood by attempting to speak a language you're not fluent in. This is what Lawrence thought was a good idea with my mother-in-law—who is fluent in English—to utter the one Spanish word he knows, it just further irritated her. As a manager he should set the example. If I could give this place a negative rating, I would. I would never return to this establishment. I urge you not to eat here either.

After a long morning of walking and sight seeing, we took our children to TGIFs. From the moment we entered the store, we waited for the hostess for quite sometime. We were finally seated and again waited for someone to take our drink order. Then we over heard a customer complaining to another waitstaff that no one was helping him and his daugther. Our orders were finally taken, my drink came with a fly in it! The waiter apologized, got the manager and she was not very presentable herself. She only said we will comp the drink. She wasn't sympathetic or wanted to hear how disgusted I was. Our food came, and various things were on the kids plates like fries which I specifically stated NO FRIES but fruit. IT was one mix up after another. The cleanliness wasn't there. I really lost my appetite. Never again...not only this location but perhaps the chain! Don't go!

One thing about chains, you know what to expect food wise. Service was good and attentive. A cool extra...they had a karaoke machine which made the night extra fun!

Brittany who works in the bar area was absolutely fantastic! Hope we get her next time. Food was great, good music, quick service.

We were staying next to this TGI Friday's so thought it would be easy just to eat there. Got online and looked at reviews and they were terrible. Decided to walk over there. Asked someone coming out if the food was good and they said yes. Our experience was nothing positive! Great server who went the second mile for us. Food was excellent. Really enjoyed ourselves. Yes, it was noisy. It's a Sports Bar!! I recommend this restaurant.

Atmosphere was nice food and drinks were great had a blast, the whiskey glazed ribs were amazing. My family enjoyed their dinner as well. We will definitely be back!

We gad a very nice steak, so good that we went there for 2 evenings. Both steaks were very nice, good quality and nice medium.

They just cancelled our reservation. Told us that they did'nt got it. We was in the restaurant in person and made the reservation. Odd?

Stopped here with my wife twice over a 2 week period, both visits were terrible. First visit was for an early lunch through the week. Upon arrival waited 5 minutes for the manager to seat us, we were the only customers in the lobby. After that we waited another 10 minutes for waitresses to complete conversation at a table 15 feet away without another customer in sight. We stopped again for dinner at 6 pm on a Wednesday, this time a new manager seated us promptly in area with one other customer. The waiter stopped by shortly after with menu stating he would be back. 25 minutes passed without the waiter returning once. He only after the other customer flagged him down to ask about his meal. Waiter stated he forgot to tell customer they were out of what he ordered. Turned and walked away without acknowledging our presence. Wife and I then got up and walked across street to Longhorn Steakhouse. This TGI Fridays is definitely mismanaged with zero oversight of staff.

TGI was located across the lot from the Marriot. Ate here on 2 occasions while in Philly for New Years. Dining staff was very friendly and provided service with a smile. If in the area again will stop by for some eats and a drink.

First time we have eaten at a Fridays in about 10 years. Restaurant was packed, we had a brief 5 min wait. Once seated we were greated by the largest server ever - Big Moe, and his trainee Marley. Both of these guys provided incredible service. I tried the Chicken Tostado Nacho's - oh my, they were delicious! Our son attends a local university down the street, so we will definitely be coming back - and asking for Big Moe.

The service at this location is great. The staff are very friendly especially Anthony. I usually come on lunch and my food is almost always ready.

I only honestly had the sweet potato fries, which were pretty darn tasty, but did see some lovely looking dishes go by while I sat at the bar. The staff, particularly my bartender, were all lovely. They have great drink specials on the menu. I wish they would have at least one wine special as well. The wine is a bit pricey, but was basically fine.

WARNING: Worst restaurant in the city of Philadelphia. Avoid this TGI Fridays at all costs. You will regret visiting this place, just as I did! I read the reviews and decided not to go to this location, instead I called the center city location but they were getting ready to close (it was around 12am). I really had a taste for the JD sampler so I decided to settle for the City Line location, and where do I start? There were people standing outside the entrance smoking marijuana, the staff was extremely RUDE, and when I took my to-go order home, I realized that they hadn't given me my complete order. So after realizing this I called them, only to get no answer. I've since spoken to the corporate office, who assured me that I would receive a coupon, this was about THREE weeks ago, and still nothing. TGI Fridays has horrible customer service skills! I just want what I PAID for!

Loud terrible live music waited over an hour for food avoid at all costs.

Julia was a very lovely waitress at TgiFridays She made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you come to TGIF’s ask to sit in Julua’s section. The food was pretty good too!

Great service with a wonderful staff! We come here often on business and appreciate the staff’s attentiveness and positive attitudes!

If you like TGIF, you will like this place. Nothing to complain about, but it's the same old - same old. If you are looking for a place you know while you're out of town, this could be it.

Marquita was great my food came out wrong she fixed it without an attitude. Her service was great. I will be back on her days.

I ordered the cheeseburger. delicious. no complaints. well done, just like i ordered. the french fries were just as good. my server took too long to get to my table. he was too busy talking and flirting, instead of taking their order, with the women at the table across from me. right across from me. NOW FOR THE DRINK. I ORDERED A PEACH SANGRIA. $11.99. ARE YOU SERIOUS? NEVER AGAIN. WAY TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE HOSTESS NEEDS TO BE TRAINED. YES WOMEN DO GO OUT ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

music food and beer i got a promotional t shirt one night happy hour every day cheep drinks nice and friendly people bartenders are great karaoke night

I ate at TGI Friday's on July 2, 2015 and the service was horrible! I waited 30 minutes for my drink. My nephew's food came after my family ate! The people were rude and it was my worse experience!

Great environment will definitely come back great service experience was full of fun and laughter wish to have Cynthia more often

Strange place - a lot of vacant tables, but a long line of waiting people. Very nosy place. Service is slow. Food is good, if you have time to wait and keep up with noise. Waiters are very slow and not exactly "user friendly". Takes long time to get served.

I would NEVER go back to this TGI Fridays. When visiting TGI Fridays in England I have always had a very pleasant experience with friendly staff, great atmosphere, exciting decor and even better food, however, this restaurant was the complete opposite. The staff were very rude and slammed our menus down onto the table, there was no music or atmosphere (which is to be expected from a TGIs) and the building itself looked run down, dull and lifeless. After being seated for 15 minutes with no servers asking us if we would like a drink or even acknowledging us we decided to leave the restaurant without ordering. I was very disappointed as I was looking forward to the JD chicken strips all day!

The barmaid Stephanie was so much fun!! Her service was excellent!! I'll be back just to visit her. The food was good n hot n didn't take long

Great service. Brittany and the guy were great servers. The bartenders were great and the service was great. I will certainly come back

The serice was poor. No plates were given when the appitizers were served.

only go here if you are into pain and suffering.

Laquon was a great server and very friendly can’t wait to come back nd see him again. Njoy ur day and don’t let no one spoil ur day day.

Awesome service as usual from Stephanie!! Always the perfect lunch break! Service is always spot on and friendly! Best lunches!!

I had a bacon cheese burger, no bun and fries. Hit the spot. Good food, good value given the lcoation. Yes, I would eat here again.

Step is the best.. legit! Her customer service should be a loyalty program of its own! The food came out within 5 mins of placing the order.

Hadn't been to this spot in awhile. I must say, it was not missed. BUT Julie was the complete reason I did not get up and leave. Pretty long wait and food was meh. JULIE our server was the best with an excellent attitude to match!!!

Portions huge, staff didn't pay much attention to us, busy chatting. And dear for what you get, wouldn't rush back

We had to go to Philly at the last minute. We booked a room at The Courtyard next door. We got to the hotel late (around 8:30 PM). After checking in decided to just go to TGI Fridays grab something quick. We were going to have a long day the next day at Jefferson Hospital. Walked in no one at the deck. After a minute or two someone came to seat us. With a large area open they wanted to seat us near a kitchen door. We said no and were offered a booth in the bar. Sat down. Table was cleaned but dirty. looked down at the seats greasy hand prints. Waited for awhile, no service and walked out.

JOHN JOHN WAS AMAZING . Nice customer service . Drinks were great . Over all his service was GREAT . Will come again to enjoy the good food , drinks and to see him again .

My mom and I ate here twice during our stay in Philadelphia because it was very close to our hotel and we didn't want to drive in the city more than what we had to. Normally, I don't like TGI Friday's, but they have added to their menu since the last time I ate at one, so, I was able to find some really good food. I would totally recommend the 5 cheese macaroni which is excellent and is offered at a great price. Our waitress, Ashley, on the first night, was super great! The waitress on the second night was also very nice. The only complaint I really had was the manager was yelling at the servers in front of the customers which made us (my mom and I) very uncomfortable and I thought was inappropriate of him to do. If he has a problem with the employees, he needs to take them out of earshot of customers. It was terrible and must have been horribly embarrassing to the servers who have a hard enough job as it is without some jerk manager yelling at them in front of people they have to serve.

The food was very average, staff appeared to be having a great time as the laughing and howling from the kitchen could be heard throughout the restaurant. 4 items our group ordered were not available. overall experience was not the best but it is convenient to our hotel

I always go and visit Marquita at the Bar! She has the best customer service and always makes sure I get everything I need! My go to spot!

Stephanie is amazing. She exudes appreciation for her customers and loves what she does. TGIF City Line will definitely be new daily lunch spot!

Server Shawn was great. Place is clean and welcoming. Would recommend coming. Made a sweet tea that was great . Service was on point

I was trying to order my food and the waitress was rude! And then she told me that I couldn't get something that was clearly on the menu and told me that she don't know why they put it on there because it's not made the way it's on the menu!

The food was good, guess we got there at a good time for a table we had to wait time. I waitress was very good and was there as soon as we were sited to take drink orders and continue to check on us once we ordered our food, she also made sure we understand the drinks we ordered we no refill, I thought the was good since we order some flavored ice tea. It was very loud at the bar but overall the meal was good.

Went Tuesday for a business lunch. Were seated immediately. Service was good. Portions large and prices reasonable. Food was tasty. No bread placed on the table. Took much longer than an hour. Not sure if it was long getting the food or we were happily engaged in conversation. Regardless, they didn't rush us. Location is in a busy area but parking ample.

We went there one night for a quick dinner and it was anything but. Our server was good but the kitchen got our orders incorrect not once but three separate times they had our order messed up. I got the 3 apps and the potato skins were horrible and the cheese appeased to have come out of a can and had been there a while. It was chunky and had a horrible metal taste. My husband got the wings with blue cheese. When our food came out I got his blue cheese instead of ranch for my skins and he did not even get the wings he ordered. When they brought his replacement wings, again he did not get his blue cheese and they were wrong again. Our poor waitress was horrified and apologized but it was HORRIBLE.

Food is good, service not that great, the place is quite noisy and on this particular time, I had asked for a Coke, and they had run out. Asked for a Ginger-Ale it was all watery, and our server could not stop at our table for more than a second.

Music is good, Service is good. Im new to the area and John, Brittany and Tory have made me feel like part of the fam! Thanks Guys!!

I bought a coupon on Restraunt.com. It cost $10. The coupon was spend $35 and T.G.I Fridays took $25 off bill. Good Deal

Steph is the best! I dined at the bar and had the sizzling chicken and shrimp for lunch and it was amazing!! Come to TGIF-City Ave!

We enjoyed the meal at TGI's. We walked here from our hotel wich is next to it. We had a salade and grilled meat, both tasted great. And ofcourse; we had some lovely desserts!

Stopped in after a long road trip to Philadelphia. We ordered 4 dishes. The first came out within 4 minutes of ordering it, the second about 5 minutes after that and the last two about 15 minutes after that. Not only was the timing way off, but the majority of the food was cold. We had them remove the last two off the bill, paid for the first two and walked across the street to another place to eat. It’s evident from our experience as well as other reviews that management needs to step their game up. Would never step foot in here again.

Steph is the BEST!!! Informative and knowledgeable about suggestions on the menu. First time here, and will be back!! Amazing service and hospitality. Thanks Steph!

Great local watering hole. Torry makes a fabulous martini that would knock James Bonds' dick in the dirt! Dorothy Parker could do no better.

Drinks and food was great Steph was outstanding the food came out fresh and hot and the drinks was so refreshing it’s not many places that i go to but Fridays on city ave is great

Fantastic spot, Steph was amazing and fantastic service. Food was great and came out fast. Would highly recommend!!!!

I went to this restuarant with a friend for dinner. We were seated right away and someone who I thought was our waiter took our drink order pretty quickly. Turns out it wasn't our waiter and we had to wait quite awhile for someone to take our food order. It took forever for our food to come out and we barely saw the waitress at all. We had to flag her down just to get the check. The food was actually pretty good but the service we received makes me not want to go back again. It shouldn't take two hours for two people to eat and leave - especially if there was no wait time to be seated. Don't waste your time at this place. There's plenty of other restaurants not too far up the road.

Before we went to see The Dark Knight Rises I brought my nephew and his friends here to eat some gigantic cheeseburgers and sodas. They were stuffed when we left and could not stop thanking me for their meal. This is a great place to enjoy family and friends.

Wanted to visit because it was about the few which're still open at 10 pm. However, we're made to wait for 20 mins despite there's tables avail. NOT recommended!

I came in for a Togo order at the fridays on city lone ave and the lady Cynthia was nice and very helpful. Yhe restaurant was super busy but she handled everything and with my order fast

My current waitress was too busy to help, but Cynthia stepped in with excellent customer service. She was polite, speedy, and attentive to what I needed. My bill came to $24 and I gave her a $20 tip. She is AMAZING!!!!!!

I experienced excellent service. The food was delicious and service was prompt. Our waitress was good.

I luv luv tori she theeeee BEST…. Yaaaassss ❤️ love ❤️ she has been so 😊 she has such good host😌 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊😊😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just came back from dinner with my family. We were put into a room with a very loud party. They were so loud that we could not even hear our server talking to us. We asked to move to another area and our waitress said they would be leaving shortly. Well. that never happened so we ate as fast as we could. My daughter who gets migraines was getting one from all of the noise coming from the party right behind us. We could not hear ourselves talking to each other. I was so glad to get out of there and I will not be returning any time soon...….

My not hot appetizer arrived after a lengthy wait, closely followed by my not hot main course. Lots of staff but I didn’t get the impression that my server cared at all. Definitely not a place I would ever consider visiting again

Just skip this place. Better options nearby. Service was poor. Order was wrong. Food ranged from awful to very good, but not enough to make up for the surly and inattentive service.

Had I gone into the Ladies Room before eating I would have run, not walked, out of this place. The handicap stall had vomit all over the seat as well as the floor. Another stall had urine all over the floor. The paper towel dispenser had no paper showing and there was a knob to turn to get the paper. Frankly, I was afraid to touch it and left. I spoke to the host and told him the ladies Room needed immediate attention. He said "thank you", but as I could see him from my seat, he never told anyone while I was waiting for the check. We ordered 2 different salads and 2 different sizes. My companion's salad was large and had a southwestern theme. He said it was good.. Mine was a salad with chicken but I ordered the small size and it was very small. Too small to stand alone as a meal. Our server was very pleasant and had no problem when we asked to leave certain items out of each salad. She was the best part of our experience there. I would never go back there and think the health department should visit soon.

Warm beer, cold appetizers, lousy service, etc. Wasn't expecting much but our hotel bar was closed. TGI Friday's didn't disappoint. Bring something to throw at the bartender if you want to get served.

A little loud but good value for the buck and a great location on city line.the staff is very friendly.

Looking at all the negative reviews based on this particular location; I was actually shocked by the reviews of bad service. We went there with a huge party of twelve people. It was 15 minutes before closing but they still allowed us to come in and eat. It was the week of the Eagles super bowl parade, so they had opened up at 7am to allow parade attendees to eat and drink before the parade. Regardless that it was a long day for the Restaurant staff, they still provided us with great food and great service. Overall: 8/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10

Awesome service ever and delivered with smiles… Steph is the Queen. She takes care of the customers with enthusiasm and fervor!

Samir is the best! He is one of the best Bartenders! He is very nice and explained the menu well with a great sense of humor. I will be back again just for him!

Amani is amazing. Very sweet and friendly. She should be promoted. She is very dedicated to her customers. She definitely makes this place.

On Wednesday, I stopped at the TGI Fridays to have something to eat before I did my Christmas shopping at the nearby Target store. I had ordered the Sicilian Chicken Sandwich which was just excellent. Since I've been going to Weight Watchers, I asked the server to take out the pepperoni and the vingarette dressing, because I'm watching what I eat. When she brought it to the table, it was done exactly the way that I wanted it. She also gave me a side salad with some light dressing right on the side. I learned this technique from going to my Weight Watchers meetings, and they respected my choice. Although the service was just excellent, the prices were way too high, and they don't offer healthy food choices. I would suggest that they offer a healthy choice menu, perhaps even a buffet, and to lower the prices.

I love TG I Friday and I always go here in Miami. I decided for lunch in this one and it was a fiasco.First no tables ,Then when seated no attention the server did not come till we called her. At the end we ordered some driks that never came and appetizers that we needed to swallow not even with water. When I asked her where the drinks were she told me they haven't been given to her yet so she could not bring them but the lady next to us who came after was being served. I decided to leave the place without drinking my margarita and just paid for the appetaizers. Really bad we neede to go to another restaurant in Terminal Market really good and best.I do not recomend this place people there don't care about you. I was afraid of drinking my margarita after claim so it could be spitted.

We went the restaurant this afternoon after our sister's funeral. Our server Mikale was EXCEPTIONAL, PROFESSIONAL, ATTENTIVE, CARING AND WENT A BOVE AND BEYOND. BEST SERVICE EVER AT TGIFriday.

The service and food is excellent. I love to go go there to eat or even go on dates there because it is right next to my apartment.

TGIF is very convenient to the Crowne Plaza hotel in West Phila. There is plenty of room, the food and service is good. The atmosphere was pleasant for families and businessman. Sports on TV is clearly visible but not overwhelming to table conversations.

Lively - Right on hotel door step - what a bargain, can't ask for much more. Once you been to a TGI you will know, all the same ish. Staff really nice - had a few nice evenings there.

My mother and I tried to eat there on a Tuesday night about 9:30 when we were staying at the Marriott across the parking lot. When we walked in, the noise level was unbearable. The music was blasting and the customers were loud and rowdy. We were desperate for food after spending the whole day at the hospital so we tried to overlook it. They said there was a 30 min wait and after about 5 minutes we couldn't take it anymore and left. Every night we could see drunk and rowdy people hanging around out front of the restaurant when we came and went to the hotel.

This place is always clean and friendly. I love my server Mina she’s so polite and fast. She’s makes my experience better.

This location is very good for Food & Drinks. The Bartenders are very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I would recommend this TGI Fridays!

Food was great. Staff was amazing. Atmosphere was perfect on football Sunday with the kids. Will come back again.

Melissa was the best very friendly the service A1 the restaurant clean the atmosphere nice the food very good the drinks delicious

Ordered food to go. Close to Hotel we stayed in. Food was hot and done just the way I ordered it. Its been such a long time since I had eaten in. TGI Fridays the one in my hometown has fallen off. It was a delite to have food prepared just the way I ordered it. My next trip to Philadelphia I will be dining there!!

A good T.G.I. Friday's restaurant. Try to get a table upstairs near the window, where the sight is great.

We had to wait for service for more than 20 minutes after being seated. Then it took another 30 min to get the drinks, and another half an hour for food. Many people started leaving after ordering there food. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please spare yourself the aggravation and go another location.

Holy crap, it draws a very questionable demographic which, evidently, necessitates an armed security guard patrolling the inside of the restaurant?!?! Implies the patrons are a bunch of animals, and I can see why. Never seen this at ANY Friday's in the country. We feared for our safety. Got a beer with a friendly bartender, gave her a great tip, chugged and then got the he|| out of there. Next night we went across the street to the Longhorn, that place was BARELY better. Stayed at the Marriott, not impressed. On the bright side, the Sushi place across the street called B2 was pretty nice. Overall I'd recommend staying away from this location and finding somewhere else to shack up and dine..
Great food!
The food was very good and the location was very convenient to museums and downtown. The service was pretty good too and the staff was friendly! I would go back. The prices were reasonable.
