Christmas Eve

By Jean B |

I really can't complain about anything when it comes to our actual dining experience. The food was delicious, portions very generous, waiter, bar tender and the maître d were all friendly and very helpful. It is a shame that it is located in Circus Circus which will prevent us from going back. My complaint is that parking was awful, the elevators in the parking structure (#2) were not working (parking in a handicap space on the 2nd floor and then having no elevator was a distinct problem), there was no valet parking available and the walk to the casino entrance was somewhat of a hike, the lobby looked like a homeless shelter with people and luggage everywhere. As a place to celebrate Christmas Eve it was a disappointment.

Top of their Game in Every Way!!

I can’t say enough about this fabulous restaurant! After a small wedding, 10 of us went for dinner. Everything was so perfect. The oysters, the drinks, the wine list, and the STEAK!!! Omg this was the most succulent, perfectly cooked steak! My group was in a dream state. What a perfect way to complement a perfect little wedding. And don’t let me forget the service. Our waiter and his assistant were attentive without being overly noticeable. They were helpful, efficient and charming. I can’t say enough about this awesome place. Having been there, I can positively say that I will NEVER go to another steakhouse in Vegas!

Good beef dinners

By likewow |

First time here. The tables are set in a quiet dimly lit dining area. We had the ribeye and petite prime rib dinners which had potato and vegetable included unlike other places. The petite prime rib was like normal size. Food was good. There was nothing outstanding (spices, juices, etc) to set it apart from my home charcoal bbq or oven roast. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Excellent Service - Excellent Food

My husband and came here because we were staying in Circus Circus and were tired of Vegas. We were NOT crazy about Circus Circus and only came here because we didn't want to go out on the strip again. WHAT AN EXCELLENT SURPRISE! We stopped by in our slob clothes to ask about reservations and were treated so nicely, as though we had been dressed for dinner. We were given a reservation at the requested time. When we arrived for dinner, everyone from the hostess to the waiter was so professional and focused on giving us a top notch experience. The food and drinks were delicious and we had a wonderful experience! The next time we come to Vegas, we won't stay at Circus Circus but we will make sure we eat at THE Steak House!

Great steakhouse in a not so great hotel

By Travelseeker2014 |

Don’t judge this steakhouse on the surroundings of this hotel, the hotel/casino is a bit grim but it’s a good reasonably priced steakhouse. We turned up early and were seated straight away, you walk past the open fire grill in the kitchen. This restaurant has an old school feel to it. We were seated in a nice booth at the back of the restaurant. Good wine selection on the menu. We all ordered steak and you get either soup or salad for starters. The steak was great and huge in size, the largest we had Anywhere in Vegas. Service was on point too. Would recommend if you fancy somewhere off the main strip for food.

Very enjoyable evening!

Service and food are top notch. We had a Ribeye and Porterhouse, both cooked perfectly. The service was always cordial and very prompt. We celebrated our 25th anniversary and absolutely loved the chocolate dessert. Would definitely recommend!!

Torn between Two Views

Coming to Vegas after a two year hiatus due to COVID, I wanted to make it a point to visit a steakhouse I hadn't been to yet. Doing research, I found that THE Steak House was rated in many lists in the top 10 or top 5. In fact, my go to, Tripadvisor had THE Steak House as #2. So we made reservations for 4 at 6:30 on a Thursday (just before the weekend rush) and took a cab to Circus Circus in anticipation of a great meal. Circus Circus is what it is, a family oriented hotel/casino that has a different atmosphere than casinos like Paris, Bellagio, Caesars, etc. No worries, we wandered around a bit, spent some money on the slots and headed over to the restaurant. Kind of a cool little entrance, a very classic portal in a hall way with Krispy Kreme signs and Manga dolls. Lets you know you're leaving the Circus and entering a fine dining experience. This is where the my view begins to split from great to not so great.... The hostess looked up as we entered and simply said, 'can I help you?'. I suppose that's fine, but we would really only be there for one of two reasons, either we have a reservation or would like to make one or come eat. It seems to me that a better greeting would have been 'Welcome to THE Steak House, do you have reservations for dinner tonight?'. Just a view and I could be wrong. She had trouble finding the reservation and finally another host came in and sat us. The place is richly decorated with dark woods, greens and chandeliers, just the way a steakhouse SHOULD look. We walked by the kitchen which is surrounded by glass on all sides and you could feel the heat from the ovens and smell the steaks as they were cooking. Sadly we were escorted up into a side room with 2 tables away from the main dining area. I thought that was odd, we were properly dressed, had made early reservations and there were plenty of tables. A side room is nice and the privacy allowed for normal conversations, but being a part of dining room experience is part of it too. Again, just a view. The menu is very simple and gets right to the chase, order your steak and it will already come with a salad and a potato/rice side. No fuss, no muss and a perfect way to make your ordering easy. I upgraded to the Wedge salad and ordered the bone-in ribeye with a baked potato. I just love peppercorn sauce but I forgot to order it...I did so after and our server made sure it was there when my steak arrived. The rest of the party ordered fillets, house salads and an assortment of mashed, baked or rice. All the dishes came with asparagus. Again, when we sat down, our server took our drink order and as soon as we received our drinks he took our order. I thought it would have been better to wait a few minutes to give us a chance to settle in. We could have said we need more time, so that's on us, but it just sat in the back of my mind. Within 5 minutes our salads were served. The house salads were huge and very good, my wedge was perfect. Smothered in blue cheese and surrounding by bacon and chopped tomatoes. Normally wedges can be monstrous and I don't eat it all to save room, but this was a perfect balance. Our steaks arrived and all 4 were cooked to perfection. The peppercorn sauce was just what I had hoped for. I know some might think it ruins a good steak (like ketchup) and I suppose that might be right, but it is THE ONLY WAY TO GO! I had ordered a beer to start and I had to ask for a second, I thought that was odd, again I would think the server would watch from a far and make sure the table was properly 'hydrated'. I had switched to my water and that sat empty for some time. In all, I had 2 beers and the others had just their original drink. We talked later that evening and had he stopped by, we all would have had at least 1 more drink...if not 2! When we were finished, our server came up and asked if we wanted desert, which we declined and we were provided a check. This is a steakhouse and the bill for 4 was WELL within reason and we were very happy. The meal was perfect, the salads, the sides, the bread, everything was what I would expect from a top notch steak house. Our server was polite and knew the menu. Now perhaps it was because we were in a side room away from his normal serving area and it was hard to keep an eye on us, but we just thought things were lacking and that we were an after thought for the serving staff. In most high end steakhouse, the server has a lot of support servers backing him up, water glasses constantly filled, someone who would notice that drinks are empty so the server could circle back, checking on quality of meal during the dinner, just stopping by quickly and discretely. For dessert, dropping off the menu with a laugh and a 'I know you're all full, but if you would like to look at our dessert menu', those all would have added to the experience AND the bill.... I think I actually might have ordered a dessert, but the way the question was asked, it just felt like 'you don't really want dessert do you?' So that's my dilemma. I just loved the restaurant and the meal and it was the best steak I have had to date in Vegas. From beginning to end, our meal lasted a little less than an hour. Again, we could have slowed the pace down at any time, but it just felt like we were being turned so the table could be set again. That just didn't seem right. I am not a snob and I hate negative reviews, if you can't say something nice, just don't bother. I probably should have given a 3 in my review, but the meal was just so good I had to go with a 4. The server also doesn't deserve a 3 as he knew his job.

Fantastic

By Ken D |

I have been here three times. They were 3 for 3. Better tan Golden Steer and the Stekhouse at the Nugget. Haven’t been to any other in Vegas and likely will not because this is that good. Their wedge salad great, bread great filet was really good. Best steak I have ever had? No. Best in Vegas, yes and really good overall.

New favorite steakhouse

By Erica E |

AMAZING. I got the larger cut filet, and I could not finish it. My boyfriend got the garlic grilled shrimp, biggest shrimp we've ever seen. He also said it is the best he's had. The cosmo was delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. This place was fairly easy to find, amid the craziness of Circus Circus. I have already recommended this place to friends going to Vegas, and will continue!

Bring your wallet and prepare

By Kathy H |

Bring your wallet and prepare to dine. THE Steak House is superb. Food quality and service are unequalled. Although quite pricey we would definitely visit again. The filet was butter knife tender and perfectly cooked. Rounded out by garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus and a huge side salad. The pretzel rolls in the bread basket were a pleasant surprise. Nice cocktail menu as well.

Save your money and time!

My experience at the steakhouse at Circus Circus was a Comedy of Errors. I had a reservation at 5:00 on Saturday, January 4, 2025. I met the Maitre'd at the door. He knew me because I had dinner there 3 days earlier. I was a single. It was early, and there were only a few people there. The Maitre'd took me to the back of the restaurant and up a flight of stairs to a large, empty room with plenty of tables and chairs. He sat me at the top of the stairs and jammed me up against the iron banister and an overly obese man sitting at the next table. WI , I should have refused to sit there and asked for a different table at that point, but I accepted. The waiter came over to take my order. He was a very old man probably in his nineties, and not sharp at all. I told him I wanted to splurge and ordered TWO LOBSTER TAILS with EXTRA clarified butter. The price was $178, but I didn't care and wanted to spluge. What I got was one tail, mashed potatoes, and a bit of asparagus. What happened from there was a nighmare of denial and apolgies, confustion, the manager, and me finally paying the bill and walking out. Conclusion, Circus Circus is a big, OUTDATED DUMP with no class and a lot of cheesy concessions and noise. The Steakhouse is also dated, dark, sleepy and apathetic Maitre'd who seated me and lame, dated, tired staff. I probably will not go back because he didn't take care of me properly. BTW....The clarified butter was put into metal dishes over a canister on fire, and my waiter didn't warn me not to touch the metal with my fingers because it was red hot, I burned my fingers two times trying to get the butter off the burners. The room was so dark, that I thought there were candles! Save your money, and go to Mateos Restuarant at the Venetian. The food and service is better there, and they know how to take care of people.

Good Value for the Price, Skip the Oysters

By MatthewC713 |

I went here for dinner on New Year’s Eve after hearing from several people that it was one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. We dined early since we had a show afterward, and I believe we were among the first seatings of the night, as the restaurant was not yet busy. Our server was excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. We started with salads: I had the wedge, which was very good, and my wife had the house salad. She has both gluten and dairy allergies, so expectations were modest, but the kitchen did a great job accommodating her, and the salad was actually very well prepared. For an appetizer, we ordered a dozen oysters—six with caviar and six without. Unfortunately, the oysters were terrible, easily the worst I’ve had anywhere. The caviar and crema helped mask the flavor somewhat, but the oysters themselves were extremely disappointing on their own. The steaks, however, were solid. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, and my wife had the bone-in prime rib. For the price, you definitely get a generous amount of food, and the quality of the steaks was good. Overall, I wouldn’t rush back, as I think there are better steakhouse options in Las Vegas. That said, aside from the oysters, the meal offered good value for the price.

Great Steakhouse!

By MandL |

This was the best dining experience ever. We had been watching a YouTube video of a husband and wife who had visited many steak houses around Las Vegas and this one caught our attention. The ambience was wonderful. It was traditional dark setting with wonderful old fashion red booths separated by glass. We first ordered a couple of drinks that were very good. My husband had the Moscow Mule that he raved about. It was made to perfection with good vodka and lime. I ordered a glass of Justin Cabernet. Our waiter Shea started us off with some bread which was fresh and served with soft butter on the side. We then ordered our meals. I ordered the New York steak and my husband ordered the prime rib. He commented that the horseradish served with the prime rib was excellent (fresh). I ordered the peppercorn sauce to go with my steak. The meals were both served with salad which you could upgrade to a spinach salad. I went with a traditional green dinner salad and it had all the goodies (even beets and Julienned carrots). My husband upgraded his salad to the spinach salad with warm dressing. Both meals were served with a good size baked potato with all the goodies on the side along with fresh green beans. The potato and green beans were cooked to perfection. After dinner we both had dessert. I had the bananas Foster and my husband had the tiramisu. Both were generous and excellent. Our server Shea was most attentive making sure our entire experience went well and we were happy. Some might look at the menu and think the entrées to be expensive, but you must take into consideration you are being served a full meal. This is not like other steak houses were you have to order everything as an extra. From start to finish this was the best meal, the best steak house in Las Vegas. We will definitely return.

Delicious

I tried the Foie gras and the rib steak both were delicious. They lived up to 5 star food 5 star service They knocked it out of the park.

Okay steakhouse

By Brad u |

We came here as we were hungry and happened to be in circus circus . It seemed cheaper than the fancy steakhouses and there was no wait for a table . Honestly I am not really a steak person but I do like a good steak now and again . There was nothing wrong with our steak here - just nothing that incredible about it . Loved the sides we had with it though , and desert was great!

A must in Vegas

By gangiang |

On short stag weekend in Las Vegas my mates, a group of 8 guys, doubtlessly wanted good steak one night, and THE steakhouse is famous for this obviously. Lived up to the hype and expectations, steak and desserts were impressive, but I must say the wedge salad and onion soup were very good as well.

Sooo bad

By NetteNorway |

Nothing about this place impressed us. First impression was a bartender shaking my Negroni. Never seen such a thing. He obviously knew nothing about bartending. Had to wait a long time for our reserved table, then were shown a drab table in a separate room, which we refused. The food was not good. Food like something from the 1970s, just like the interior if this depressing restaurant. My beef was dry.

Terrific old-Vegas charm

By Athena G |

While the hotel, Circus Circus was a bit of nightmare, THE Steakhouse is a little slice of heaven. We went in to escape the kids for a bit and get a drink. The drinks were fantastic, a Moscow Mule and a chocolate martini. The manager came over and chatted us up giving us the history of the restaurant which was very interesting. It was a very old-style Vegas experience, the kind you hope for.

always great

By dmill0918 |

We eat here every time we are in Vegas, and it's always great. Our server Richard did a great job taking care of us. I'm not a huge steak eater, so I was happy to see that they have a $20 sharing option. I had my own generous salad, a choice of starch, and the veggie of the day. Then my generous husband who ordered the filet gave me a couple of bites of his steak. perfectly cooked !! I love the atmosphere of this restaurant: dim lighting, dark wood paneling, very old school steak house. Highly recommend this restaurant. You won't be disappointed !!

An Amazing Dinner

By David R |

Those that might be thrown off by the location need to realize that one of the best steakhouses in Vegas is right there. The 21 day dry age on all the Beef leaves these large cuts of steak super flavorful. The open flame grill cooks them to perfection with just the subtlest of seasoning. Some may balk at the prices, but you do get what you pay for here. The service was amazing (Thanks Felix!!!!). We had a Strip steak and a Bone in Ribeye, and both were just.. .luscious.

Awesome Meal!!

By Lesley R |

Im not much of a steak eater, but I must say this steak was cooked to perfection! This place is a hidden gem and if you are really into steak, then this is the restaurant you should try.

Great

By Andrew Williamson |

The atmosphere and decor were great. I really enjoyed the steak I had and the price wasn’t bad for a steak house. The staff we encountered were friendly. It’s worth giving it a go if your staying at The circus circus hotel.

This is a Great Steakhouse

By mark s |

A step into the past with white cloth tablecloths and servers in white shirts and black bow ties. The ultimate in attentiveness and professionalism from Roberto and staff. Steaks had a perfect char and were cooked just as ordered. The baked potatoes were soft and fluffy. Crooners were heard overhead and our entire experience was awesome. Thank you so much

A gem! We’ll be back!

By Samantha E |

We loved this place! I wish I could remember the names of the two gentlemen that served us, they were amazing and so nice! Our drinks stayed full and we didn’t want for anything. They were both also very nice to our kids (maybe cause my kids are pretty well behaved) but at a lot of nicer restaurants the servers look past the kids. We started off with the garlic grilled shrimp, it was delicious! I ordered the small fillet, it was cooked perfectly! My husband ordered the NY and ate every bit of it! The kids shared a NY and it was so big that they couldn’t finish it between them (they are 7 & 9). Everything from the bread to the crème brûlée was great. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Las Vegas. This place is definitely a treasure!

bad meat

By Thrasher H |

i visited your restaurant last week for my wedding anniversary with another couple My friend sent me a picture (and now is confirmed) that some of the meat we ordered and eat had a tumor or was bad... We didn't eat the whole meal and took some to my friends house to be put in a freezer since we didnt want to waist a $75 per steak... My wife is mortified that such a classy establishment did this to us and wants to write some online reviews.... The service was great but now we r not sure how to proceed I sent an email to randazzo but it was never replied

Worth the visit to Circus Circus

By MLMRocksTravel |

We have tried most of the great steakhouses during our Vegas trips. We had planned a steak on our final night at a certain celebrity chef's restaurant....as we usually have our final meal there. The hostesses were so rude and could not find our reservation, then tried to put us at the bottom of the list before they forgot to add our name when we first checked in. We asked someone who worked at Caesars where the best steakhouse in town was, and he told us not to think he was kidding...but it was at Circus Circus. We had heard that before but were not fans of Circus Circus. Heck, we wanted to see the new Resorts World so decided we would go check out the steakhouse then walk over to Resorts World. Reviews were right...this bone-in ribeye was huge. The waiter suggested we split it as most people cannot eat the entire thing. My hubby loves his ribeyes and we were both hungry but have learned to listen to the waitstaffs advice. We split one, along with a salad and each had a baked potato. It was one of the best steaks I have had in my life, and even after the split (which they do in the kitchen), it was so large neither of us could finish it. The perfect medium searing and amount of fat. For $100, this meal was a steal!!! We have a new favorite steakhouse and will be eating there every single trip (and are still not fans of Circus Circus).

Just Not What It Used to Be

By Sightsee25932536159 |

Nothing in particular wrong and certainly no complaints about the service. That being said, having been to this spot at least a half a dozen times over the past 20 plus years, the steak has gone from remarkable to mundane. With so many steakhouses to choose from in Las Vegas, my past practice of going with the reliable and enjoyable choice of Circus Circus Steakhouse will probably not be my practice in the future. I guess all good things must end...

Great food with nice atmosphere

By Jayden R |

One of the best steaks we've ever tried. Steak was very juicy and tender. The vegetable especially asparagus was very fresh. Server was friendly and nice atmosphere. We both enjoyed our meal and will comeback.

Great steaks

By laf1714 |

We went early and had excellent service, steaks were good, and our old fashion was just ok. Also ordered a salad which had to much dressing, should have asked for the dressing on the side.

is the best place that we had to eat our last meal of the night of staying here in Vegas we really enjoyed it the place was clean they follow protocols for COVID-19 Martha and Tim Green

Great place

By Brian L |

Old school Las Vegas environment. If you get a steak it includes bread, a house salad, vegetable, and potato. 2 petite filet mignons with tip will be under $180. The steak is well cooked. The ambiance in the house is very good. You have to walk through a bunch of ….. to get to gold. It is always worth it. I can buy a 16 ounce New York strip at my local market for $12. A filet mignon locally runs me $30. A perfectly cooked filet plus 4 sides for $61 is more than worth the price.

Disappointing

By paulg-Phoenix |

The three stars are for the excellent service and very well crafted cocktails. Three of our group ordered filets and while they were cooked to the temperature ordered perfectly they had no flavor and the cut was “Spongy” for the lack of a better word. The meat was tender but that is all it had going for it. The other person in our group had a ribeye and it was not a quality cut. The location is terrible, inside a one star hotel with a tattoo parlor across from the entrance so we should have known better. As a group we have been to all the top rated steak houses in Las Vegas and wanted to try this one. There are plenty of better options nearby and the prices are no different. If you want old school try Golden Steer. 5 Stars to the wait staff.

Best in Vegas

By Debra B |

Absolutely the best in Vegas! We ended Our trip with a great steak dinner here. Service was excellent. Manager rounding continuously through meal but there was no need as everything was delicious and perfect. Elegant dining.

Could Be Better

By DOB508 |

This had a lot of potential-atmosphere of a great restaurant, fantastic waiter, and a terrific menu. We ordered steaks and chicken. The chicken was very good, but the our NY Strips were only average/good. Nothing excellent. We were seated in a little two table room next to a loud party. So, overall, not a tremendous experience.

Best steak in town!

By Robert M |

This is a must go to place when in town. The staff is awesome and the food is amazing! Absolutely the best steak in town. Oysters are fabulous as well. You will not be disappointed.

It rocked!

Delicious steaks, perfectly done. Very large portions, so you can share. The price was pretty high, but included sides.

The BEST STEAK I have ever eaten

By Barbara B |

This is a must stop restaurant. The food is amazing and so is the service. The steak is out of this world, I have had steak from more high end restaurants than I can count. I would rate this steak number 1. Go to The Steak house, you will not be disappointed.

Underwhelming and plain disappointing

By Steven Szabo |

Overall I’d have given it one star if not for the fact the service was good. For a restaurant with the courage to name itself THE Steakhouse in this town to be incapable of temping meat is a huge disappointment, and definitely not worth the price of admission. We missed our reservation at Ramsey’s due to Vegas traffic, so scrambled to find something else that would be good. Saw this place at 4.5 stars and decided to give it a try. Started with appetizers, a house salad and French onion soup, both good. Ordered a filet and a New York, both medium rare. Both arrived at medium at best, the New York looking closer to medium well. Totally flavourless and dry like it had been left under a heat lamp to dry out for 20 minutes. Sides were just ok. A couple stalks of asparagus and a scoop of garlic mashed is hard to get wrong. Ordered a creme brûlée for desert, and it wasn’t set properly...way too much liquid. Lady came around trying to sell pictures for $250, which doesn’t really fit in with the upscale steakhouse vibe. Tried to use the washroom and someone had been sick all over the men’s room some time ago as it was dried on to the seat. In their defence I advised the host and they jumped to resolve it. I understand that this isn’t necessarily their fault, just another part of the evening that didn’t go as planned. For $170 for a steak dinner with two drinks and one desert I was expecting better. I suppose I should have held off until the 8:00 opening down the road. Better to be satisfied later than overcharged and disappointed now.

Best Steak I Ever Had

By Jason W. |

Had a reservation for a group of 7 and we arrived 30 minutes early and spoke to the host and she said she would check to see if she could get us in now. She sat us less than a minute later. Our waiter was outstanding and attentive. The Caesar Salad, Filet Mignon, garlic mashed potato's, bread, and chocolate cake were delicious. As mentioned, it is pricy here, however, I was happy with the cost because of the delicious food and outstanding service! This was the best steak that I have ever had.

The best steak in Vegas without a doubt!

By Jade M |

We had heard this steak restaurant was a must visit for steak lovers so we decided to book and pop in for dinner one evening. We are so glad we did because the staff, food and decor was incredible. We starter with the French onion soup which was better than what we had in Paris a couple of years ago! Presentation was beautiful too. Next we opted for steak with garlic mash and wow, the flavours! The steak was cooked to perfection, we like ours medium rare. The garlic mash was also something we’ve never had and we are glad we did because it was delicious! We had a bottle of red wine too and could not fit in a dessert unfortunately! We would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back when we come back to Vegas in the future!

This place is one of kind. From the moment you walk in and smell the aroma and see the chefs cooking you know you hit the steak jack pot. Walk further and see the fabulous dining area with the dim lights and white table cloths get ready, get ready get ready for the best steak dinner. The excellent staff and great service. This was the best birthday dinner ever June 10th 2021 and to top it off I got a slice of a wonderful chocolate cake. Our waiter was so attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were his only customers.

Made us feel special!

My wife said it best after the meal: “I think they think we’re someone…” The steaks and lamb were wonderful; the sides were delicious and the cheesecake 10/10. Roberto the waiter was just terrific and all the staff attentive and friendly. Made for a great bday for our 11 year old! Loved everything.

The Best Porterhouse in Las Vegas!

By Piotr P |

Dinner at THE Steak House was an unforgettable experience. The Porterhouse was absolutely gorgeous — perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. Without question, it’s the best steak I’ve ever had. Each bite was tender and rich, cooked exactly to perfection over the open grill you can see from your table. The restaurant has that classic old-school Vegas charm — dark wood, cozy lighting, and the amazing aroma of steaks sizzling on the grill. The service was exceptional: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. If you’re serious about steak, skip the flashy Strip venues and come here instead. THE Steak House focuses on what truly matters — quality cuts, expert cooking, and a warm, authentic atmosphere. It’s a timeless experience that every steak lover should have at least once in Las Vegas.

Delicious Filet with Superb Service

By welter2016 |

We were able to walk in without a reservation but reservations are recommended. The food and the service did not disappoint and our filets were done to perfection. I would have preferred steak butter to bernaise sauce though. The restaurant is pricey but worth it. The service was very good. Our Uber driver had heard about this steak restaurant from three different passengers and mentioned it to us - I look forward to my next meal there.

The best filet mignon

Classy service and the best filet mignon I have ever eaten so far. The place is cozy and romantic, a very beautiful address.

If it gets better, pinch me!

My brother and I went last week and it was fantastic as usual. Had the ribeye as usual, and, as usual, it was excellently perfect. Just the best.

Bad food

By Dwight A |

First off having to go thru the dump of Cir us Circus is horrible. Surprisingly the restraunt itself was beautiful old school charm. That however is the only good thing I cam say about our experience. The steak was bland and the second to worst steak I have had in Vegas. The sides were ok. I would not go back even if it was free. There are way too any better steakhouse in Vegas.

Comfort and excellence

By 2015tanuki |

2 weeks ago I took my son and daughter-in-law to celebrate their 10th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderfully delicious meal at the Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Great cocktails, great bread, great garlic shrimp appetizer, great steaks, great lobster. Our waiter, Roberto was excellent! Our booth comfortable. The dec or classic steakhouse! One of the best dining experiences I've ever enjoyed. Truly memorable!

Still the best steakhouse in Las Vegas.

By Lynn S |

This is still the best steakhouse. Sides are included. We have been going here since the early 1990's. Very quiet and peaceful. Only twenty some tables. Excellent service. The fresh beef is in their cooler. It is a true steakhouse like it should be.

Good, Not Great

By Happiness527538 |

Great service and good food. Entree price includes salad, vegetable and potatoes or rice. Filet was very good, but not melt in your mouth delectable as I would have expected for a $79 entree. While the restaurant is well maintained and has decent ambiance, The Steakhouse is located in the Circus Circus Hotel which is quite run down (dirty and smoke filled). Enjoyed our meal but not sure that I would go back.

Great ambiance and yummy steaks

I ordered the rib eye and my wife got the Filet. Both were cooked to perfection. The bread was hot and delicious and our server was courteous. Overall a great experience.

I have been dining here since 1984 and it has never disappointed. The atmosphere is old Vegas (and that is a good thing), the service is impeccable and the food is not only plentiful, it is so very, very good. Ron and his staff always make me feel welcome, and glad that I am here once again. From being greeted by Janice, being served by Richard to eating Ron's wonderful creations, it is always a wonderful experience.

Will never go back to this restaurant!! Beware of the cockroaches

We had a reservation this past week. While we were looking at the menu in the hallway of the restaurant, several cockroaches were running up the wall :o We cancelled our reservation and went elsewhere.

THE BEST Steak House in Vegas. 6++ Stars

By Angie W |

We have eaten at most of the popular steak houses in Vegas and this one was THE BEST! We loved the open flame grill that appeared to be fueled by real firewood. The aroma and the snap, crackle and pop of the fire (and the steaks) was fun and relaxing. Teo was a top-notch server. Not only was Teo friendly and attentive, he had a great sense of humor, as well. Robert was an awesome partner to Teo. Be sure and ask how big the portions are. The ribeye is 24oz, so we did a split plate. We each had own our choice of 2 sides and both received the chef's selection vegetable which was fresh asparagus. The blue cheese crust on my half of the ribeye was divine! Of course, fresh breads are served before the meal. The timing of each course was perfect. Wish we saved room for desert. All of this for less than $200.00 WITH tip! Don't be afraid that prices are not listed on line. The meals come with several courses included, not just an entree' with add-on sides that can add up in a hurry. We also loved the hunting lodge theme. We will absolutely be back!

1 year anniversary

By Jon Quinton B |

So me and my lady are having our one year anniversary and decide to go to Vegas for the first time check it out have a good time make it special. I read really good reviews about a steakhouse and was excited to try it expecting good service but I was shocked. My server felt snarky. I felt like he judged me and my date because I asked for lemons with my water to start. The food was very good very satisfied with that it was the service. After my meals done I had to box up my own food and put it in the bag to go myself which I feel is below a establishment that charges over $50 for your entree to have to box your own food. And then I was shocked he did bring us a slice of cake to celebrate our anniversary but then came the snark by going enjoy your anniversary you don't look old enough to have an anniversary. Which I felt attacked and judged. I was close to leaving no tip because I was that upset but I knew I had to be the better man and left 15%. I would not recommend to my friend or family.

Excellent Meal

By Kel7278 |

We decided to try this restaurant because I wanted a good steak dinner to celebrate my birthday. The prices seemed reasonable and the reviews were good. I have to say- they did not disappoint! Atmosphere is cozy. They sat us at a table and we saw a booth open and they gladly moved us. Bread was great, the meal came with salad, steak, a vegetable (asparagus), and a side. Meal was great but the reason they got 4 stars only is because me and my husband had to return the steak. We asked for medium well and it was still shooting out blood. Sorry for the graphic but I like mine a little pink. We constantly go through this at restaurants, even some places arguing with their own steak pictures, so I thought a high end steak place would cook a steak perfect. They were very apologetic though, gladly took it away, and it returned perfect so it was fine. They surprised me with a small birthday cake with candle. I was stuffed at this point but still made room to eat it- I don't want to be rude!! I would definitely return to this restaurant. Our bill was still a little pricey but compared to other Vegas steakhouses, this was probably a third of what we would have paid elsewhere. I just wish they would fix up Circus Circus! We gambled a little before dinner and is very rundown. It's nice to see where I used to go as a kid and as an adult I still enjoy everything they have there, they just need to take some pride in the place!

Best meal of my life

By DDL L |

Has to be one of the best meals of our lives. The staff were absolutely lovely. We managed to sit on the patio and have the front table to see the fountains which were beautiful at night

Expensive but worth

By edward1979 |

Steak’s quality 8/10 .. quit expensive but it’s worth. Warm atmosphere and lovely staff. Will return. Thank you all!!!!

January Visit (Steak House)

By Stan H |

This restaurant is located on the front of the Casino by the Belliago fountains. You go down the escalator to the restaurant. We sat outside where we could see the Fountains going off. You would think it would be cold but they have heaters from the ceiling pointed down on you. This place is not cheap, there is a minimum 175 per person on the terrace. Having said that we had the best service we have ever had, our waiter was great. The special was Lobster and Filet for two hundred dollars we had two. While having drinks and watching the fountains going off, very nice! Very nice experience! Stan H.

Good food

By Paul |

We ended up having steak here after our first choice place was closed. We were a bit apprehensive at first as it is located in Circus Circus. When you walk into the restaurant it feels like you have been transported elsewhere, the atmosphere and style of the place is great. My wife and I both had steak which was nice. I had lobster tail with mine which was a bit on the rubbery side but tasted nice. Although this wasn't our first choice it was still a nice meal. Had the added bonus that I managed to win my wife a teddy in the games area of Circus Circus afterwards which was massive brownie points lol

Still the least known GREAT Steakhouse

By ButlerFan |

I don't know why The Steakhouse is not on my eat here every year. Probably because there are so many great other places to eat or try out. Ate here with two friends and all of our steaks were perfect, my drink was perfect and there were many affordable wines available. You can't believe hidden inside the Circus Circus is one of the biggest and best gems of a resturant in Vegas.

A Throwback Steakhouse

By TheTraveler3313 |

You would not think that a high end steak place would be in Circus Circus but it is. This place Is a throwback to old Vegas. From the wood accents to the green paint on the walls love the atmosphere of this place. My wife and I had a great time. We even took time after to go hang out at the Adventure Dome.

A spectaular Anniversary dinner!

By aeariasjr |

We greatly enjoyed the Japanese Wagyu steak. The entire meal was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. The best part was the service...especially David, making our special night even better!

Hidden Gem

By danaH4354IF |

This is a hidden Gem inside the crazy Circus Circus Casino. This is a high end 5 star restaurant, be prepared to spend $100 pp and is is well worth it. I have enjoyed many great steaks, a must do when in Vegas

Pricey, but Nice…except one guy 🤬

By Danny W |

We were just coming off the strip into Circus Circus and decided to find some food. Once we say this place, my mind was set. Note: YOU NEED RESERVATIONS. However, they were kind enough to give us a cozy corner at the bar so we could eat. We had looked online and they did not present their prices, so right away I was concerned when we started looking st the menu. I got the petite filet ($67) and my husband got the porterhouse($72), and we each had a drink. $220.00. It came with fresh bread, yum, that you must eat before it cools; it gets really hard if you wait until after your meal. It also came with a potato choice, asparagus (cooks choice veg, no other options), and a salad (or black bean soup). The salad was great. It had mushrooms, beets, carrots, cucumber, croutons, and fresh greens, the only thing it was missing to be perfect was cheese. Both of our bartenders were amazing. (We came at the end of one shift, into another). They were friendly and talkative, while staying busy and ensuring everyone had what they needed. The wait staff in the restaurant seemed overwhelmed and the bartender had to put up with a lot of abuse, but from one male server in particular. The bald, older Caucasian gentleman/waiter was extremely rude and impatient to and with the bartender. I was shocked at his comments and behavior in front of customers. Even if we weren’t his. I have been in the food industry for many years and that guys disrespect to others was inexcusable. Apparently the food industry is not for him. As the bar filled and we finished, the nasty waiter got nastier and we finally just left before I said something. (He was working 6/29/2021 around 7-8pm). Outrageous that such a nice place would tolerate that kind of behavior…Unacceptable. Also, I am posting some pictures. Our steaks were not even close to this size but the cook was good and the char cook gave it good flavor. It’s the way I cook mine at home. $67 and $72 steaks though…eh!!!!!! 🧐

Epic Dinner

By Michelle A |

Husband, son, and I had a lovely dinner at The Steak House in Circus Circus. We were seated promptly. The dining room was spotless, classy and decorated in an old fashioned way. The service was impeccable. We each had steak, mashed, green beans. Son also had mac & cheese. Since we walked, we indulged in mojitos. The bread was special - crunchy bread sticks and pretzel rolls. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing!!

By sbjennings |

We all had steaks (bone in ribeye and filet - all medium rare ) and they were absolute perfection!! Salad and side were also amazingly…

Pleasant restaurant in a horrible mall with average quality steak

By Procaccia |

The positive aspect of this place is that the folks running it and serving you are very pleasant, courteous and helpful. Service if fast and efficient. The quality of the Porterhouse steak that I had was however so-so. Not bad, but not something to write home about. The accompanying black bean soup was good, and a nice Bloody Mary made the meal go down well after a 17 hour flight to come to Las Vegas.

Did not live up to the claim of being good. Is in the hotel Circus Circus which is filthy. Steaks were almost inedible

By alkrn |

Horrible experience. Old, dirty hotel. Restrooms out of order or open with overflowing toilets, no soap, etc. Few options fir gambling-not worth having to spend time in this atmosphere. My steak undercooked, my husband’s steak not a good cut- thin and fatty.

Great Steak House

By Lotsofgreattrips |

The service was excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly. A bit pricy for the add on however. Great ambiance. Highly recommend.

Christmas Eve Family Dinner

By NOBIGTOE |

You would not expect The Steakhouse to be in its location. Don’t let the casino surroundings fool you. You will step from a flashy casino into a time warp of wood paneling and leather that takes you back to a bygone era. Yes the menu is pricey but everything from the food, service, & ambiance merits the number. Drink prices were reasonable, the pour was generous and the steaks were perfect. The salmon entree was also excellent. Coffee and desserts completed the night. Good hot coffee with refills and try the tiramisu. The portion size we could have split! The evening was a total pleasure. I enjoy the walnut paneling, leather horseshoe booths, and tuxedoed table service by people who are professionals and this you get. If you like chrome chairs and a waiter who says are you guys ready to order, don’t come here. We loved it and will return.

Excellent Steak House

By Janice L |

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Superb food. Filet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak house is in Circus Circus Casino. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Highly recommend if you wish fine dining.

Total disaster service is

By Phenomjet |

Total disaster service is awful now former manager is no longer here and new one is awful, terrible staff, food quality is awful now. Very very sad. Will never return! Fire everyone and start over.

Special experience

By haidy n |

With a decent amount of money one can get the best experience of a luxurious food and fancy decorations. And not to mention the good service too!

Bad experience

By Sharon b |

We have eaten here every time we visit Las Vegas and really enjoyed it. This time was so disappointed, we paid $100.00 for a lobster tail you couldn't even cut, it was so overcooked, the bone in rib eye was full of gristle. The wine list has changed. A meal over $300.00 for 2 should be a wonderful experience, this was far from it.

We’re back again!

By Jeff A |

As always, the food and the service and the ambiance are top shelf! The menu is concise and the feel is old school. When in Las Vegas we head to The Steak House

Best Steaks in town

By Nicole E |

This was our second time to eat here and we love it. Staff is always friendly. The drinks are always on point and steaks are always cooked perfectly. I order the Ribeye medium. And I highly recommend the Lemon Drop.

Still the best in Vegas

By Keith B |

In my opinion, still the steakhouse every other one has to beat. Atmosphere is old school class and the service from the moment you walk in to when you leave is excellent. Price is not cheap but you do get a lot for your money and is all quality ingredients. My 7th visit over many years to The Steakhouse and is always a special experience.

Service was terrible

By ADM078 |

We made two dinning reservations before our trip and this was one of them and the one we were looking the most forward to. We were celebrating our 21 year anniversary so we requested to sit on the patio to have the ambiance of the fountains. The fountains were amazing and we were so happy with our seating, but that’s about where the enjoyment ended. We had very rude service! I have worked in the food service industry on and off for 32 years and have eaten out at plenty of fine dining restaurants. I have never been made to feel like I am less than more than this particular evening. This was the last night of our trip and I had been having some stomach issues and so we did it order the full menu (apps, salad, entree, etc.). When we placed our order of two entrees and two sides the server rolled his eyes with disappointment after he asked if we wanted anything else and we declined. From then on attentiveness went downhill! Toward the end of the meal we were going to order dessert but I was freezing and we asked the assistant server if they could turn on a heater and he said he would try but I was made to feel badly for asking (it wasn’t what he said so much as how he said it; very annoyed and like we weren’t worth his time). A very nice gentleman did show up a few minutes later to start the patio heater and I felt so badly I told him not to worry about it bc we would be leaving soon. But, he insisted and did get it started. I was so upset so we did not order dessert and we just asked for the check. Didn’t tip them well; which we NEVER leave less than 20%, but this experience was SO upsetting and it completely ruined our evening and our last night of what was a really nice vacation. Not sure if I’ll be back to LV, but if I am I WILL NOT stay Bellagio or eat at Prime!! Oh and the food was OK! If you want really greet service and wonderful food eat at Don’s Prime at Fontainebleau!

Perfect Steak

By StusanO |

Roberto was funny and attentive, and the steak cooked perfectly. If you want a place where you can escape the noise and relax with friends, this is the place. Inside Circus Circus. Cheesecake was worth the calories. Highly recommend.

Average steak

By PJliketotravel |

So after reading the reviews, we decided to try this place out. It is located in circus circus which was a zoo! Not my favorite place. The steaks were average. All there steaks are 21 day dry aged which was disappointing. They were cooked to perfection, but the flavor was just ok. They really need to dry age the steaks longer.

Rich meat, bad birthday experience...

By Minutti H |

Excellent meat, certainly the best I have ever tasted. Very good quality, poor entries, such a place should have something better to start. Good selection of wines, pity that I made the reservation with time to order terrace and not for my birthday they gave it... and to give two macaroni for your birthday and pay almost $750 dollars bill, it is very miserable of the restaurant. Don't give anything.

The Best of the Best

By Dave L |

The highlight of any Vegas trip is havng the best steak at the Circus Circus Steakhouse. This must have been my 8th trip to this masterpiece and they continue to blow away the competion. Thanks for another wonderful experience and my German family got to taste the best meals offered in America.

It gets great reviews but doesn’t live up to them

By stitcher1951 |

Four of us dined at the Steak House Its in Circus Circus which is very run down. The restaurant itself is fairly nice tho Our server was Tyson and he did a good job Our first disappointment was they didn’t have prime rib! Two of us had wanted prime rib but tyson said they only bring it in on the weekend. I wish they had put that on their website because we could have booked then First a basket of bread was brought out. It was four onion rolls and four pretzel buns. I personally didnt care for the pretzel buns but the onion rolls were delicious I chose the salad rather than bean soup. It was a good size salad and the ingredients were fresh. My salad had way too much dressing on it. If i went again i would get the dressing on the side Since they didnt have prime rib, my husband and i both ordered the 12 oz fillet. We both ordered medium rare and they came out very rare. I could have sent it back but my experience has been if you’ve cut into them, then they come back dry. Our server did comp my drink and desert. I can cook a medium rare steak at home so i don’t understand how a chef in a steakhouse cant get it right. My daughter in law ordered chicken and she said it was delicious My son ordered a porterhouse steak an he said it was ok. We ordered key lime pie for dessert and it tasted good but very tiny. So all in all the dinner was just ok. Me personally, i wouldn’t return. Its too bad because all the disappointments could have been easily corrected

Old School Cool!

By Casino Boy |

Took my son who can be kind of finicky having been a cook for a few years in the past. I did not think we would need a reservation considering the thin crowds in Las Vegas last week but we made one anyway. Four or five tables occupied at our appointed time, 7:30. But by the time we left it was full, so make a reservation. Very quiet, with low light and leather high-back booths. The cooking area is elevated in the dining room so of course the smells are engaging. Nice selection of appetizers, including French onion soup which is very good. I had it at earlier visit there. We just went straight to the meat, rib eye and New York strip medium-rare with potato- baked, mashed, etc., are the choices. Salad was good and the bread was warm and tasty. Meat was excellent as usual. My son agreed. They don't give it away, but it is worth the price for the food, service and relaxing experience.

Great service and good steaks

By IrishRover |

We had a dinner for 6. The service was excellent and the steaks very good. We went with two 40 Oz tomahawks for the group and two lobster tales. The food was presented well but the service was 5 stars

Service was second to none

By Kenneth E |

Went here for our 18th anniversary and it was fantastic. Yes it's very pricey but the food was great and the service was unbelievable. Crazy such a place could be in circus circus.

Hidden gem

By Melissa Z |

We found this hidden gem based off of a recommendation from an employee working at check-in in Bally’s where we were staying. We made reservations for that evening June 15 at 8 and we were pleasantly surprised. You would never guess this place was in Circus Circus. The decor was spot on for Vegas. We had excellent service from our waiter. The warm bread and pretzels were brought out quickly and our water glasses stayed full. We ordered a cocktail before our dinner too. The music was perfect. Hearing Johnny Mathis made me think of my mom❤️ The salad was fresh and the steaks were very tender and flavorful. Yes it was pricey, but you get what you pay for. All in all it was a great evening and would definitely come back.

That was our first disappointment. The sloppy young hostess refused to honor our request even though a table sat empty for almost an hour. The waiters were arrogant attempting to push every extra ala carte on us on the already way over priced menu. The foie gras was delicious. Many times we have experienced Dover Sole prepared tableside. Our waiter plopped the cold dry fish on our plate bothered to wait on us. My NY Strip was tepid at best with some unidentified glaze. Yuck. Mashed potatoes with truffles were great but you can make anything great with truffles. The staff was well aware we were celebrating my birthday but could really care less. Save your money and enjoy a meal with a Chef you know and trust. Jose' Andres, or Emeril would never put up with this. We will never go back.

The food and the service are above and beyond at this restaurant.

By cheryl b |

We had supper at this restaurant and I cannot say enough good about the food and the service. Attention to detail is amazing. Portions are very generous and the team that works there are fabulous, they look after your every need. The only drawback is that you have to walk through Circus Circus to get to the restaurant, it was very noisy and dirty to get to the restaurant.

I guess I excited to much

By Maria J |

Everyone says this is the best. My husband and I have been coming to Vegas for 30 years and never tried it. We moved here so we wanted to celebrate and try this place. First of all you have to walk thru circus circus to get to the restaurant. It’s like walking thru a bar from the Star Wars movies. The atmosphere is wonderful once you survive the entrance. Staff are extremely efficient. The bean soup may sound a little to much but it’s very good. My husband had the salad and it looked wonderful. Unfortunately my food was cold. The fillet was a bit over cooked and the mashed potato and asparagus was stale. Dinner comes with bread soup or salad potato and a vegetable. It’s not cheap. But for all the recommendations we got I was gravely disappointed. There has to be better steaks in this city

Off the Charts - Awesome

By UK-Milkybarkid |

If I could dine in one steakhouse in the world - it would be here! Having visited many times in the last 30 years, it was 10 years since my last visit so was overdue….there is a reason this is regularly voted best steakhouse…. All entrees come with a soup or salad (if you like blue cheese, look no further). The bread rolls taste like they have just been baked and the butter is just…well, devine. Tonight I had the fillet and it did not disappoint. The fully loaded jacket potato, asparagus and onions (these were additional and TOTALLY worth it. For dessert, we were recommended the cheeses cake - shipped in fresh from NY - wow, so light and tasty. Cocktails (lemon drop) and wine (Pinot noir) by the glass were both delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. Of course, you need great service too and Rodrigo did not disappoint- so good I would recommend asking for him if you visit. Truly a great experience and worth the walk through a rather run down Las Vegas casino to get here….. Marvelous!!!

Expensive but good meat

By holsboc |

Really expensive, but on the other hand, these are the best lamb chops I've had. Slightly strange operation. I can't tolerate gluten and they kept forgetting that. Our waiter was a bit bitter. But we had a wonderful evening.

Not restaurant-quality prime beef. It never has been. not a reasonable value

By tim_pam_kc |

Too bad that the quality of beef isn't prime. It would make for a much better experience. Everything in Vegas is expensive, but for the prices that TSH charges, the beef is obviously not up to par, I suspect that it is USDA Choice. It is tasty, but obviously not a restaurant-quality prime. Sadly, the prices are in line with prime meats. We had been coming here since 2008, mut no longer...

Excellent old world steak house, great meal

By Rob G |

We called for a reservation and were told that there were no tables for five available. After a brief chat they said they could seat us at a booth with an extra chair if that would work. We have two kids aged 10 and 12 so that worked great with us. We arrived on time and were immediately seated. The restaurant feels like an old-world steak house, and it is. Despite the status of Circus Circus (serious decline), the restaurant functioned and feels like the top-notch place that it is. The service was great, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and we learned that he has been there for more than 30 years. Our steaks were thick and cooked perfectly. Dinner was great, it was pricey, but all good steak houses are. On the way out I chatted with the maître de, he has been there for almost 40 years. Just what you expect from an excellent restaurant. One small gripe; Manhattans are stirred not shaken... Don't let the Circus Circus hotel throw you off, the steak house is excellent, and parking was free.

What a Gem. You must go.

By medanne1 |

Wow. Was not expecting the high quality of service and food. This is the real thing. An old school steak house with high dark wood interior. Leather high backed booths and white table cloths with matching waiters. The was excellent. We had prime rib and bone in rib eye. They were perfectly served with asparagus and baked potato. We shared a salad. Our 10 year old daughter was treated superbly. I cannot say enough about this establishment.

Too expensive for average food

By TPage |

My partner had been here about 10 years ago and remembered it being good so we visited when in town. We ordered steaks each. They were so expensive, but happy to pay that for good quality food. Sadly, it wasn’t good quality at all. It was chewy and really nothing special. Definitely no need to return, although the establishment did have class and our service was good… but sadly the food just didn’t deliver.

Cool old school Vegas vibes - steak was mediocre

By Patrick P |

The restaurant has old school las vegas vibes with red leather booths and dim lighting. Overall wasn’t impressed at all with the food. I ordered the 12 oz filet and the quality of meat wasn’t there - almost felt like a different less tender cut of meat. Won’t be back.

Not exactly the same

By Nailcutter |

Came here for dinner while in town for business. Prices here have risen sharply over the years. Still get a salad, potatoe and veggie with dinner and $20 to share. Most meat enteees are $60-75. We shared a rib eye steak and got the grilled garlic shrimp as well. Salad was good and steak came out decent. Shrimp were moderately sized. Service was very good. Beware Circus Circus is not longer owned by MGM.

Beautiful steak house - a must do

By Amy S |

I heard about this place via a travel vlog and it looked like the perfect steakhouse. It didn't disappoint. I visited tonight with my son and the service and food were beautiful. My son described it as the 'best meal I've ever had'. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the house salad and other sides were delicious. Staff were very attentive and friendly. This is a must when visiting Las Vegas, would highly recommend to make your trip special.

We highly recommend

One of the best steak house we've ever tried. Steak was juicy and perfectly cooked and was very well presented. Server was knowledgeable. My business partner and i really enjoyed our meal ans we will come back

Fantastic steak dinner

By Happy Traveler |

I love this place, and it's been quite some time since we visited due to covid. You don't need to order extras as you get so much with the meal. Perfectly seasoned and cooked meat. I don't think the price is too much for the quality that you receive.

Really good food!

By Erika |

It is an old restaurant but excellent food! Like the service, it is totally worth going to the Circus to eat there. The portions are generous, the ratio met benefit is very good.

Top-rated Las Vegas!!!

The.best place!, amazing attention, amazing comfort, all great, thank you so much for the service, are Top-rated in Las Vegas!!

A throwback but great steaks and service

By NickK7501 |

Looks like a classic old steak house when you walk in. Waiters who seem like they’ve been there for decades take care of you. Small but sold menu. I had the crab cake to begin. It was very good - filled with real crab. I opted for black bean soup instead of salad. It was tasty but a little thin. Then, for dinner, I had the porterhouse. It was very good. Not close to the best steak I’ve ever had, but very solid. Garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were good. Really enjoyed the bananas foster desert.

Best Steak in Town!

By 1995118lt |

I had the opportunity to dine once more at my favorite steak house in Las Vegas. A reservation was easily made and we arrive ed early to have a beverage in the comfort of the small old school cocktail lounge in the restaurant. This place has been in business for 30 years and the quality and excellent service goes on visit after visit. We love the consistency of the service and food. Our waiter Roberto is a veteran of 27 years at The Steak House and did an excellent job serving our party of five. I f you like old style elegance with great food and service I think you will enjoy this restaurant. We visit this place every time we are in town! It is pricey but well worth the cost!

Delicious surprise!

By katfish1968 |

Steak is always done to perfection and it’s a great value for Las Vegas! Your sides, warm rolls, and salad come with your meal. Service is always fabulous! You will walk away full and happy!

Terrible meat

By Donna T |

So disappointing. Ambiance was nice, waiter was good, it was the meat itself that was not good. My filet had sinew! Filet was also flavorless. My husband's strip was also very mediocre. Filet was also not med rare, it was medium. Sides were good as were the drinks, but we came here for the meat as we were Ballagio residents, and it was his 50th birthday. Try Don's Prime in Fountainbleu, so, so much better. Amazing meat there.

Not as good as past experiences.

By tblaies |

Not as good as past experiences. I visit The Steak House every time I’m in Vegas (typically 3-4 times a year). I visited 2/9/20 around 8pm. I did not have reservations however, the restaurant was not packed and we were seated quickly. However, for some reason, they choose to seat my wife and I directly behind a large round table with a party of 8 young (25-30 year old) people celebrating a birthday (loud and drinking allot). The back of one of their chairs was literally against our table! Why? There were plenty of other open tables. Yes, we could have asked to be reseated ..... my bad. I had read on the reviews that that steaks aren’t seasoned well. I really don’t pay too much attention to what other people say because tastes do wildly differ however, I found this to be the case. In the past, my steaks have been deliciously seasoned. This time, the rib eye was just bland. No seasoning. Please bring back the seasoning. If you changed for a reason, please have the wait staff explain and inform clients of options available.

Amazing restaurant, food and service! Best in Vegas

By gcl0nd0n11 |

My husband and I visited this restaurant last night and it was AMAZING from start to finish. We had 2 waiters who were super friendly, attentive and professional throughout. We ordered a porterhouse steak to share and the quality and cooked perfectly. The wine available was also brilliant. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Perfect steakhouse which will not leave you hungry

By SoldBySmuk |

Prepare for the best steak of your dreams. This will not disappoint your hunger or cravings for more as the portions are HUGE. When you walk in just slow down and watch the bbq as they cook others steaks right in front of you. I recommend the bone in rib-eye and Caesar salad. We visited here during our honeymoon and they gave us a slice of cake at the end. Very classy in a not so classy hotel but you’re only there to eat so buckle up and enjoy!!

Surprised by the oversized steak!

"Here's a steak in Las Vegas." I was told by a local guide. The hotel I stayed at is The Stake House. It was a circus circus, so this was also Thinking it was a connection, he went. It was a great answer. I asked for the smallest size for a set of steak, salad, soup and bread, but what came out was an oversized one. That's America. Hospitality from veteran waiters. I was happy to see that we couldn't eat enough and the waiter suggested a take-away pack. It allowed me to take my most indulgent breakfast back to my hotel room. If you want to feel American heritage, I recommend this famous restaurant.

Disappointing

By B.ambron |

Prior to our trip I was researching places with great steaks and the steakhouse kept popping up. I was excited to try it out but was very disappointed. The steak has NO flavor. They do not use any seasoning and it seem they did not even use salt and pepper. The steak was just ok. I feel I could make a better steak at home. Also the other members in our group got the filet and they were overcooked. I was going to give them 2 stars because I was so disappointed but gave them 3 as the food was not terrible but not what I had expected especially for those prices.

THE best

By SGTL |

All I can say is this restaurant had the best ribeye steak I’ve ever eaten. Expensive? Yes! Delicious? Yes! It was worth the 75$. The bread basket has pretzel rolls along with the bread and it’s amazing. The steak was huge I couldn’t eat it all and even though I had no fridge or microwave in my hotel room, I still ate it for breakfast cold it was that good! Great service and decor. I would most definitely come back.

Very good steak, service lacking

By osuddg |

We ordered the crab cake as an appetizer and I ordered a steak and my wife ordered a salad as an entrée. The waiter definitely had his timing off because the salad was served long before the steak was ready. It took a long time to get the waiter's attention for refills on water and bread. The steak was very good, but since I can get a steak just as good or better closer to where I live, I will probably not return.

"A Memorable Experience"

By 2broadway |

We had a reservation for Christmas day. We arrived about 20 minutes early and were greeted and seated. I've been to The Steak House several times before and have always had a great experience. The atmosphere is pleasant and romantic. I love hearing Sinatra and Billie Holiday in the background. Tio provided great service. Thank you, Tio! I had lambchops that were cooked as requested. My boyfriend had steak and seafood. We both enjoyed our meals. What we like least is the walk to the restaurant and all of the "stuff" and people that you have to dodge but once you step inside, it's beyond great and well worth the trek!

A hidden gem within a dying casino/hotel

By TiredWorldTraveler |

Though the Circus Circus Casino/Hotel has become a run down dump, this is a hidden gem! Harken back to the days of old fashion steakhouses - superb service, great ambiance, Frank Sinatra playing in the background, private booths and dark wood paneling. Our waiter TEO was patient and did not rush us. He asked if we were in a rush & we said no, we wanted a lazy slow paced dinner. He made it happen. The food timing was perfect. It wasn't about turning over the table - it was about the experience! We each had our filet butterflied & with extra vegetables (instead of rice or potato). The asparagus spears were tender & petite. The hollandaise sauce for dipping the filet was a nice touch. For dessert we shared a slice of cheesecake. It was served with a strawberry glaze. Tasty and generous in size. We found a diamond amongst the litter box.

Outstanding Steakhouse

By tfedor |

Why would you want to pay extra just to have a "celebrity chef's" name on your bill? This steakhouse has steaks as good as, if not better, than those celebrity restaurants. The food is superb, the staff friendly and excellent and the atmosphere exactly what a Steakhouse should be. I am not a fan of sterile restaurants that lack any character whatsoever. I never have dined here and walked away disappointed. I feel like part of the family when I show up here. This is a must for anyone visiting Las Vegas and wishing to step back into what great food and service should be. Well done (or however you like your steak)

Don't let the casino deter you from going to The Steak House.

It's the BEST Steak House in Las Vegas!!!! Don't let the atmosphere in the casino deter you from enjoying this dining experience.

A Delicious Step Back In Time

By Cheesehead_In_Texas |

Dinner at the Steak House at Circus Circus was a step back in time to Las Vegas' glamor days. We were greeted in a polite and friendly manner, our reservation honored on time, and seated comfortably. The drinks were perfect, the appetizer of a selection of seafood was wonderful, and the steaks cooked perfectly. The sides were delicious. The waiter was professional, friendly, and made helpful suggestions and answered questions knowledgeably. Although dining at the Steak House was expensive, it was worth it. It was a perfect evening.

Awesome restaurant in the Circus Circus casino. Great prices, high quality cuts of meat, sides and starters included in the price

Incredible food and service!

By aaiimmeess |

What a fantastic find The Steak House is! We came here off the back of lots of recommendations from a Vegas Facebook group, all highly recommending it. And it did not disappoint! Do not be put off by the restaurant being housed within Circus Circus - it would fit perfectly within a higher class casino! Started off with some warm bread - which was incredible! I then chose the salad with blue cheese - I was in blue cheese heaven! For my main, I had a fillet cooked medium rare and to absolute perfection! With asparagus and garlic mash! It was honestly one of the best steaks I have ever eaten!! We were looked after by Felix and Tyson - who are attentive, friendly but not intrusive. I cannot recommend The Steak House enough! You will not be disappointed!!

Hidden Gem

By Diane L |

Hidden on the first floor of Circus Circus (WHAT?!!) is a superb steakhouse. Very elegant decor with low lightening; pictures of bulls lining the walls. Attentive wait staff; prices comparable to other steakhouses; delicious sides included in the price, and, of course, delicious food. Our waiter suggested the rib eye and he wasn’t wrong. It was cooked to perfection and delicious - So big I needed a take-home bag. I heard the filet mignon was excellent as well. Steaks come with a marvelous bearnaise sauce. Cesar salad and house salad were very good also. We had a delicious Mac and cheese as well. Good baked and mashed potatoes too. Very happy with this place.

Hidden gem!! Great steakhouse.

By Lead2829 |

Hidden gem!! Great steakhouse. Very reasonable for Vegas. Sides are included in the price, which I’ve never heard of at a high end steakhouse. Definitely go here.

The perfect meal

By Tessa |

The Steak House at Circus Circus is possibly the best In Vegas If you looking for Fabulous food this is it! The atmosphere is classy old time Vegas. It’s just sexy . The steaks and accompaniments are delicious the house salad was amazing ,Garlic mashed potatoes ,the asparagus and the best béarnaise sauce I ever tasted . The steak was to die for and cooked perfectly! The waiter Mike has worked there for 35 year and served Frank Sinatra Jerry Lewis and many others He loves to share the stories and is just a class act. Shorty is one of the chefs that cook in the centre of the restaurant in a glasses in area and does an amazing job . Love the old Dean Martin Frank Sinatra music in the back ground and the private red leather booths . The casino itself is not the greatest but don’t let it fool you , the Steak House is Beautiful and romantic . If your with your love of your life or just with friends and you want an old taste of the old Vegas, this steak house does not disappoint!

The #1 Best Restaurant in all of Las Vegas! The Steak House is GREAT!

By G & L |

Spectacular! Excellent! Wonderful! A star that shines in Las Vegas and it is The Steak House in Circus Circus! The meal was excellent as it has been since I first stepped through their doors in 1980. The service is great, the staff is wonderful. They treat you with class, style, and they care for your every request from their complete menu. Whether you want any of the excellent steaks, or the fish selections, or anything else on the menu, the service staff will complete your requests. This is the best of the best! If you are looking for a grand meal while you're visiting Las Vegas, please make your reservation at The Steak House.

Great Service

By FoodBucketList |

We made reservations for my husband’s birthday. The service and atmosphere was perfect. The host was extremely kind. Teo was very attentive and made sure our meal was special. The ribeyes were cooked perfectly. You can see the grill as they cook. The house made Italian dressing /salad that comes with the steak was delicious, as well. We will get the French Onion Soup next time. It was recommended by the bartender, George, but we were too full to enjoy it. I honestly didn’t think such a great steakhouse would be at Circus Circus —-pleasantly surprised

Definitely should not be in top 10!

By bridieann03 |

We are steak connoisseurs & read so many reviews before we chose this steakhouse as our selection. We were disappointed. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a good meal & our steaks were cooked perfectly, but it wasn’t so good that we’ll go back again or even recommend it to anyone else. For the price I had much higher expectations!

A gem amongst coal

By FoodieBoss |

We arrived at circus circus and were not so impressed with the hotel, it was dated and in need of a revamp, after walking through all the machines and tables, we both thought “oh no what have we booked” However rocking up to the front of the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised, the greeter was very welcoming and kind, the walk to the table was met with an amazement as I saw the real coal grills and the 2 chefs cooking mountains of meat, it made for a really nice first impression of the place as a whole. We were seated at our table and the servers were nothing but prompt, perfect, could not fault them, we ordered 2 beers for our drinks both reasonably priced, as a restaurant owner/ chef myself i find myself looking at these small details. We ordered a wedge salad to start with and a ribeye 24oz on the bone, both to share, the starters were really nice, the blue cheese sauce with the crispy bacon bits were really nice, portion size for what we paid was really decent, although I would have liked a bit more lettuce for what it was, main course came and we got the ribeye, garlic mash and asparagus, what can I say but it was cooked to perfection, the charcoal grill really elevated the steak and the garlic mash was a really nice side to have along with it, one 24oz bone in ribeye did both of us perfect. For dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse cake and a cheesecake, to me the dessert is where a meal can be ruined very quickly, however both of us agreed it was delicious. Over all if you’re looking for a hidden gem in vegas I encourage you to try this place, and not let the hotel put you off trying it. Definitely will return next time we’re in the vegas.

You may not win in the casino, but this steakhouse is a jackpot

By Mike from NYC |

We decided to go old school Vegas for our last night in town. We read the many good reviews about this restaurant. It did not disappoint. My wife had the lamb chops and I had the petite filet mignon. The meat was high quality and cooked perfectly. The salad and onion soup were also very good, as well as the chocolate cake we had for desert (on the house for our anniversary). The meal was more reasonably priced than all the other steakhouses we looked at because the sides and salad / soup were included with the main dish. As good as the food was, the service was even better. Thanks to Chay, Richard and Tyson for your exceptional service on a special evening for us. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful Evening, Wonderful Anniversary Meal

By MinnieM1928 |

We booked here for a wedding anniversary meal which fell when we were in Vegas on holiday from the UK, and we had such a lovely evening. We were shown to a large red leather booth which sets off the old Vegas vibe of the Steakhouse, which has a really nice atmosphere. Our server was attentive but not overly so and that is as it should be, we had starters of french onion soup and a salad and both were great. We then had the most amazing steaks, a porterhouse and a filet with accompaniments and the steaks were cooked to perfection. We toasted our anniversary with a glass of wine each and although we didn't order dessert as way too full up! they bought out a chocolate cake with compliments and anniversary wishes. The manager (we think) came over at the end of our evening and asked if all had been ok which again was a nice touch and before we left he took a couple of photo's for us. We would definetly dine here again when back in Vegas, and we highly recommend.

Fabulous meal!

By Kimbosold1 |

Fabulous atmosphere a real Old Vegas feel. Excellent knowledgeable waiters who more that took care of us, I had the bone-in ribeye, my wife a filet snd both were truly awesome. The entire meal was a true delight. Not so getting through the casino, it was actually scary. Not sure why this steakhouse is still in this location.

Weekend trip

By Loretta E |

Very warm atmosphere. Staff was extremely nice and our waiter Nigel was very attentive. My husband who travels a lot both abroad and domecially had the 8oz steak, and he stated it was the best he ever had. I had the lamb chops which were exquisite. It is pricey but aren’t you worth treating yourself? Highly recommend this eatery.

Great Steak House

By LyndaB24 |

Fabulous vintage steak house. Beautifully decor. Steak was done to perfection and delicious. Bread that was served - as well as salad, black bean soup, and side delicious as well. Service perfect. An awesome visit.

Not Going Back

By Joe |

Valentines Day. They had nothing for the ladies, not even a $2 rose they could have given out. Steak was $85, fatty, tough, stringy 1/2" thick, grocery store quality. Butter and sour cream so cold it would not melt on baked potato, which they should have dressed beforehand. Go to Silverado Steakhouse instead, much cheaper and avoid the strip.

As Good As It Gets

By Mike B |

This was the splurge treat for me on our vacation and I loved it. The prime rib was perfect, meaning that the meat flavor shone through without any salty or spicy crust fighting against it. It was medium rare as requested. My wife was happy with her filet. Onion soup could have been a bit more intense but the flavor was just right (not salty!). Portions were generous. Great old fashioned cocktail. Shout out to the excellent server Roberto, who was accurate, efficient and personable. Classic steak house atmosphere. Not a bargain but you get full value for what you spend. If you're staying at Circus Circus there is no reason to go to any other steakhouse and if you're staying elsewhere it is worth the trip to go here.

Expensive old school dark,

Expensive old school dark, smoky, steak house. Ambiance is very old school, booth was nice, service was good. Food was ok for the price. We added the lobster tail to our porterhouse and added a share plate. Banana fosters for dessert.

Big Old School Vegas Steak House: Does Not Challenge the Vegas Competition

By MrGaucho1987 |

There is a LOT of competition for your Vegas Steak House dollar. As a frequent Vegas visitor, I've tried more than my fair share. THE Steak House does not make my "must return" list. We loved the big leather dining room and relatively, for the strip, reasonable prices on the steak. The price includes a starter and sides, unlike most Strip a-la-carte pricing. At a big dollar big experience steak house one expects solid service. Our waiter was disinterested at best. His assistant saved the meal with his thoughtful efforts. The steak cuts themselves were large and well cooked but otherwise unmemorable. The sides were similarly unmemorable. Bottom line THE Steak House was not a bad experience. We enjoyed our evening. But we will not return.

Delicious like the first.

By EL_GQ |

Good just like the first time. Theo greeted us and walked us to a booth. We love the vintage stage leather half circle booths. Chae our server was excellent. Was not rushing us, always came around to check up on us and left us with a memorable experience. Want delicious steaks, cocktails and more, stop by THE Steakhouse inside the Circus Circus.

Excellent!

Nice local, kind and professional staff. The steak was excellent! I suggest this local if you like meat!

Wonderful service great lobster tail

By Summersnuggles |

Very good night at Prime. They switched the restaurant around as they are renovating the old restaurant This was the old Picasso Appetizers were excellent as well as the foir gras which had a hint of strawberry. The steaks were good except my New York strip had veins down it do it was returned. The lobster tail was from the Tristian islands and outrageously good Server Russell was outstanding and knows how to take care of customers

Nice place

By LostInTime |

This steakhouse is a surprise. It’s in a hotel that is less than high class. It’s right by a Krispy Kreme and a Auntie Anne’s. It’s also a throw back to a cooler time in dining. The service was great. The pretzel rolls are awesome. The shrimp cocktail are top notch. The steak was really good. And the service was the best.

Old World Steakhouse Vibe

By Darlene43 |

Small by comparison to the the mega-sized steakhouses on the strip. Many of staff has been there 30 plus years! Grill located in center of restaurant so you may be able to see your meal being grilled! We get a steak and split, ordering additional sides. Perfect meal for us. Restaurant was recommended years ago and we've been going there every time we visit LV. Always a great meal. Service is tops!

EXCELLENT IN ALL RESPECTS

By David H |

The four of us had an excellent experience at The Steak House: …The atmosphere was perfect and conducive to dining. …The menu had many different food options. …The staff was friendly, superbly trained, but not intrusive. …The meals were beautifully presented. …The quantity and quality of the orders very good. …The price was high, but fair for what each of us received. We would return.

High quality food

By chris_lfc |

Wonderful meal and great ambience. Lamb chops were wonderful and service was impeccable. Cooked in sight at the grill.

Food was spot on as always.

By Rob J |

The steak here is awesome. Very nice place, we try to go here every trip out for a special night out. I find it harder and harder to justify the price. But as long as I can I will go.

Excellent food for a very enjoyable evening.

By Sybille W |

The Prime Steak House is a must-do when in Las Vegas! We enjoyed a very delightful evening with super delicious food and very attentive service. Thank you Russell, for taking care of us! The chefs prepare anything you like the way you like it. We ordered the Foie gras for starters and it melted in our mouths. We then followed with a shared bone-in rib-eye accompanied with the market fruit salad (never tasted anything like this before - and amazing) and the Caesar salad. This was a good choice because the rib-eye was plenty. Very tasty! For dessert we had a wonderful Baked Alaska which we enjoyed tremendously. The sommelier recommended a great wine which was the perfect companion for our meal. What we liked in particular was that he would not just point to the most expensive wine on the list but that he listened to what we would enjoy and recommended good value for our money. Thank you all for a wonderful evening which we will keep in very good memory!

Nice Old School Vibe

By Walby |

Picked this place based on TA reviews. Its a nice little place within Circus Circus. Service was good. Food was good too. I had the prime rib, wife had a petite sirloin. Prices were a little high, but, oh well.

Disappointing

By Voyager763614 |

The food at THE Steak House was good, the portions big (sharing a steak would not be a bad thing to do) but overpriced. The location inside Circus Circus also does not help. The casino has an unpleasant odor that is evident as soon as you walk in, it is in sad need of a total makeover or perhaps a tear down.

Best Steak house for a Prime Rib dinner.

By NanLon |

If you are a fan of prime rib, The Steakhouse is for you. From the information we gathered, the prime rib is sourced from a Chicago-based meat company, aged 21 days and low cooked for 8 hours. The tenderness, juicy, and flavor-packed prime rib is on par with the best steakhouse in Vegas, my husband says the tenderness is better than Ruth Chris, House of Prime Rib, Morton, Harris Steakhouse, etc. We were served by Felix, he was friendly and unpretentious. We had a great experience and definitely be back.

Excellent

By Danielle W |

Amazing time excellent juicy steak 🥩 The server Roberto deserves a raise a management position a bonus he really went out of his way to make my daughters 21st birthday dinner special probably the best service we have ever had and we travel a lot and have eaten at 100s of restaurants we will be back next time we are in town and I will make sure to let all my friends family etc to do the same this place was amazing

Wonderful experience! Delicious food and incredible ambience and service.

By keb57 |

We just finished one of the most delightful dinners we have had in years! We are pretty tough judges of both the quality of food as well as the level of service. I had the three course filet mignon dinner and my husband had the 3 course aged bone in ribeye and they were both incredibly delicious. The house and edge salads were great, with just enough dressing to make them tasty. The bread was fantastic; a cross between sour dough and croissant w a baked in cream cheese. Best of all was our incredibly responsive sever team, Angel and Imelda. They made the evening even more special.

THE Steakhouse is a must go-to spot.

By Dave W |

Outstanding in every way! The meal was fantastic. Rhe 16 oz Robert was perfect. The service is beyond! It is wonderful to have a true dining experience vs the get ‘em fed and out syndrome you see in too many Vegas restaurants. You can truly enjoy the ambiance, the music, the great photos and one of the best steaks I have ever had.

A Legit Steak Dinner...At Circus Circus? Yep!

By Jeff Does Vegas |

Okay…I know what you’re thinking. Circus Circus? Yes…Circus Circus. Let’s just get this part out of the way…it’s true, Circus Circus is old, dingy, dirty, and in desperate need of either a massive renovation or possibly an implosion. That being said, I’ve had people telling me for years that Circus Circus was home to one of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. I’ve heard this from both locals and tourists alike…and a quick search online on both Google and TripAdvisor reveal a ton of 4 and 5 star reviews with lots of positive experiences. So, my wife and I decided to check it out for ourselves and see if there was any truth to the rumours. And, I’m very happy to report that the steakhouse at Circus Circus is awesome. The atmosphere is very old-school Vegas with servers in tuxedos, dim lighting, dark green carpeting, and big red leather booths…and just for fun, the steaks are grilled right in the middle of the restaurant. Dinner at the steakhouse includes fresh bread to start, your choice of either soup or salad, chef’s vegetable and either garlic mashed potato, a baked potato or wild rice blend. My wife and i both had the bone-in ribeye with her having the baked potato & me having the garlic mashed potato. We also shared an order of the sauteed mushrooms. To drink, my wife had the house merlot and i had a chocolate martini. And even though we were both stuffed after our meals, we gave dessert a shot…i had the chocolate mousse cake and my wife had the chocolate covered strawberries. Overall, this was an awesome dining experience. The service was awesome, the steaks were cooked absolutely perfectly, and everything was delicious. Now, to give you fair warning, if you do decide to partake in the steakhouse at Circus Circus, be aware this is not going to be an inexpensive meal. For my wife and I, for dinner, drinks and dessert, all-in with a tip, we paid about $290…but that’s pretty much in line with our previous steakhouse experiences in Vegas at both the Golden Steer and Oscar’s at the Plaza downtown. And if I’m being honest, I’d rate the steakhouse at Circus Circus right up there with those two spots. If you don’t believe me, try it yourself on your next trip.

Steakhouse crew at circus circus

By catherene a |

Outstanding service by Lea bartender, Ron the manager, Chae the server and Felix was a joy. Food was outstanding we especially enjoyed the black bean soup. I have been trying to find a recipe to make it here but nothing has been even close to what we have had. I enjoyed the inner action between my husband , Felix and Ron regarding their mutual love of muscle cars. They brought the meaning of service and care to a man that has been a shut in for several years. Thank you so much .

Great Food/Service/Ambience

By Peggy A |

First class old school Vegas steakhouse from start to finish. Ron in the front of the house has been there 28 years and is a gem, David our server 30 years. The interior is very attractive and well maintained. The food was outstanding, the lamb and steak cooked perfectly, would recommend to anyone and go back. The downside is that you have to walk thru the entire hotel which has seen better days to get to the restaurant. Too bad they don't have a separate entrance.

A hidden jewel in Vegas

By Julián Llera |

We had a great evening here with amazing food and superb service from Felix, our waiter. It is a pretty expensive place, but worths it. Some of the steaks are HUGE. Ladies received a flower at the entrance because of mother's day. It was a nice detail. We had the seafood sensation to the center with incredibly fresh crab legs, oysters & shrimp. Simply perfect. Beware the wasabi at the center is natural and very spicy. Then, each of us ordered different things. Our ranking was: 1.- The lamb chops. They were amazing with a side of tender lobster tail bad mashed potatoes and mint jelly. 2.- Filet Mignon. Although it was the smallest steak, the flavour was totally different vs the rest of the steaks with a delicate seasoning and a baked potato. The best option to have a normal sized steak with amazing flavor. 3.- Porterhouse steak. A pretty big steak, very juicy cooked medium rare just as we asked. Amazing quality. 4.- Rib Eye. A very good steak. Also it was huge and you can tell the difference vs other places by the aging flavor. Cocktails were ok also. This place is a MUST when it comes to get a nice dinner in Las Vegas.

We had reservations & were seated promptly upon our arrival. There were 9 in our party. We were celebrating a birthday! Service was excellent! Attentive & in tune, allowing us to pace the meal. Salads were crisp & tasty. Entrees were cooked to perfection. I had the petite filet….& it was the best piece of beef I’ve ever had! Hubby had the lamb chops & he said it was the best he ever tasted! Cooked to perfection! Everyone was more than pleased with their meals. Hubby & I shared a huge delicious piece of cheesecake! Others had the tiramisu & crème brûlée. All delicious! Even though Circus Circus is an old casino, The Steak House is worthy a visit! We will be back!

Great Hidden Gem!

By lovesthesun73 |

This is a great place for a nice Filet. We saw a video on Tik-Tok naming this a great place to eat. We've been to other steak places, but the value of this location was really good. You are not paying extra for the sides. We split a 10oz Filet and each had our own sides and it was more than enough food. The quality of the meat was very good. I cannot speak to any of the other cuts of meat, but our dinner was fabulous. We were also given dessert for my birthday which was so kind of the waiter. It speaks volumes that many of the waitstaff have been there for 20 years or so. We would go back.

Top notch but....

By Tovarich1975 |

What a place: the vibe, the EXCELLENT service, the food, the ambience and walking thru old, run down and smelly Circus Circus (part of the adventure) is worth it. The BUT? USDA Choice.....come on guys!

A league of its own

By Raf83 |

From the atmosphere to the service to the food. You won’t find a better example of all three at this level anywhere else on the strip. I have been coming to Vegas for three decades and this is A classic that is still the best in town.
