Great seafood in casual environment.

By Grasshoppers7 |

I had an amazing meal at TJ’s. The staff was friendly and everything I had was great including non seafood dishes such as the Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad, and green brûlée! I tried the fish tacos and the sea bass and both were excellent! It is a casual environment but the meals are somewhat expensive so plan to splurge when visiting.

Should be better for prices/portion

By greggtex |

Good for most part, but could be better. Chilean Mahi Mahi good, vegetables with it also good. Portions small for price. Seafood gumbo not good. I know gumbo can very greatly, but theirs had a taste that that good. Service good. Based on reviews and price, should've been better.

Seafood in Dallas

By hookedontrvl |

There are a couple of good seafood places in Dallas and this is one of them. My first visit here was for an early dinner Saturday evening. In my opinion it would be considered fine dining prices, but they do have seafood sandwich and taco options on the dinner menu. I tried the salmon burger which was really good. It was like a thick hambuger shaped salmon patty with plenty of great salmon flavor. Along with it were a good portion of homemade kettle chips. The service was excellent and the decor was simple yet classy. I will definitely dine here again.

Excellent food and atmosphere

By KStraveler515 |

I had the crab cakes; they were incredibly delicious and full of crabmeat. They came with grilled zucchini and summer squash, and a type of coleslaw, also yummy! My friend had fish and chips... he's not a huge seafood fan but he thought both the fish was great (not fishy) and he couldn't stop raving about the fries. We really enjoyed the meal and I would highly recommend this place. If I find myself in Dallas again I will make a point of coming back!

Wonderful Salmon Burger

By mshbnyehud |

Dinner outside on the walkway in front of the restaurant on a lovely Dallas evening. Service was impeccable, and all the dishes delicious! My friend and I split the sizable Salmon Burger, and added Truffle Fries (also a nice split-able portion) in addition to cole slaw (spiced with Siraccia sauce - yum!). Can't wait to go back for another meal here. Loved the entire experience. Very high value!

Great Experience

By ray l |

Our children live in Dallas and get the credit for picking out this cozy establishment. Each of us had a different entree and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selection. A nice feature was each dinner came with 2 sides. My favorite fish is halibut and their presentation was excellent! Small place and not fancy but service was exceptional

Great Food, Excellent Service, Welcoming Setting

By Irina p |

A wonderful neighborhood restaurant for a family or couple evening out or a business lunch or dinner. And you may also want to try their weekend brunch! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, management is attentive and, while not hovering, is mindful of the customers' comfort and satisfaction. No need to dress up, but you would not be out of place should you decide to do so.

Satisfied customers

By rhpatt29 |

We had a party of 5 for a business dinner. Tuesday evening and the restaurant was never more than one-half full. Service was good. Atmosphere is casual. Lobster rolls, crab cakes, salads & a vegetarian dish were very good. I would recommend the lobster roll (hot not cold). Wine list was okay but not great. Full bar service. Overall satisfied.

Lobster night

By Ree M |

Had a fantastic meal with friends. All had the lobster and it was delicious! Caesar salad was wonderful and the service was excellent. Recommend a visit. May try the lobster roll for lunch tomorrow as seafood this good deserves another visit

Valentine's Dinner

By Ceilia7 |

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight. I'm excited to have a locally owned seafood restaurant in the neighborhood so was hopeful. I ordered the Crab Cakes and the two were more than I could eat. The crabmeat was excellent but they didn't have any pizazz....i.e., they were a little bland. The pizazz was in the cole slaw with siracha. Didn't love that but was ok. My husband had the red snapper and said it was good but not a lot of complementary flavor. Maybe we will try again when there isn't a special menu since it would be great to have a favorite spot close by.

Very Enjoyable

By Kevin D |

I have been to TJs twice, for lunch and for dinner I enjoyed it both times. Sat at bar for lunch, had local amber beer and fish tacos. Tacos were done with the best tilapia I've had. It had the texture of a nice halibut. For dinner we had lobster bake and the lobster pasta. Both good, although the clams and mussels were VERY small on the lobster bake. The lobster in both cases was excellent. For desert they have a decadent chocolate bread pudding, but I would recommend The Bushwacker. It's desert and an after dinner drink in one. I also picked up some fresh trout and some shrimp on one of my visits. Both not cheap, but very good. I'll be going back to sample crabcakes and the lobster roll. Oh, and service in both cases, was excellent!

i am on a quest for the best poke bowl

By Cynthia U |

when TJ's opened i could hardly wait to try. this center has terrifically difficult parking and lots of walking or circling. the shrimp poke i tried was barely filling and pricy for the serving size.

Bad shellfish

By Dallas214too |

Reception sent us to bar to wait while we stared at our empty reserved table. After 15 min of her confusion we were finally seated at her empty table. Lobster Chopino had rancid shellfish. Shellfish had not opened and the ones that did open contained tough inedible shellfish. Manager refused to admit the dangerous shellfish and turned it into a rug price negotiation vs make the customer happy. We left very unhappy and will not return.

Delicious Halibut and Dessert!

By halcyonrx79 |

My husband and I here for first time tonight despite living nearby for years. Will be coming again it was so delicious! I ate the halibut, which I inhaled it was amazing. The cheddar polenta, greens, and yummy blueberry sauce combined really well. The key lime cheesecake was very good- it wasn't too heavy or thick. My husband had the warm lobster roll, which I think is just ok. Too much melted butter and bread for me. Next time we want to try the calamari, wedge salad, and crab cakes.

Fresh! Fresh! Fresh!

By Rebecca S |

Service was excellent on a Saturday around lunchtime. The seafood chowder was some of the best I've ever eaten (and I lived on the east coast for 3 yrs)! I had the fresh grill of the day, Gulf Red Snapper-delicious!! A couple of gentlemen sitting near me ordered a tuna/shrimp poke as an appetizer. It looked amazing, but they wouldn't eat the tuna tartare because they didn't know it "would be that raw." Dudes! It was explained to you by the extremely patient waiter! LOL I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Needed good dinner

By O1628YTedwardh |

It’s funny how I never think to review this restaurant. TJs and Mont Lake Cut are my go tos for great seafood and time with my beautiful wife. NEVER been disappointed with either. Service and food always top notch. Very nice to always be able to count on.

Great Seafood

By George H |

When you walk in, there is a cabinet of fresh seafood on ice to your left. You can choose what you want from that display if you wish. The service was excellent and the ambiance is pleasant. We had the smoked salmon platter and the calamari for the table. I would order the smoked salmon again as it was excellent. The calamari was good, not outstanding. We followed this with grilled salmon, sea bass, and fish and chips; all delicious. There is an excellent selection of chardonnays.

Nothing fancy...

By rhpatt29 |

If you want an excellent seafood meal and don’t care about a fancy atmosphere, TJ’s is a must. The restaurant is a clean, casual atmosphere. There is a seafood counter with fresh fish, outdoor seating, a nice bar (with TV) and indoor table searing. Friendly staff. Quality seafood prepared with excellence at a moderate price.

Delectable Seafood. Impeccable Service. Vivacious Vibe.

By Omar R |

Our new friends in Dallas invited to TJ's as we've never been to it. I'm glad they did. The service was on point. The Salmon appetizer was very tasty. Each of us ordered something different. My wife ordered the Fish Tacos and I ordered the Fish & Chips... Oh my! Needless to say, everyone was totally satisfied and each enjoyed their order. We will definitely return because TJ's was that good.

Excellent seafood

By Evelyn U |

The best fresh fish I have had in a long time. Service is good and wait staff is very friendly. Half price fish tacos are an great deal on Sunday evenings.

Went for Lobster roll, could have been better

By gr8one17 |

I am a lobster roll fan and after reading some of the reviews of TJ's, I decided to try them. I went for late lunch and it wasn't busy. They have 2 lobster rolls, one cold and one hot. The Connecticut lobster roll is the hot one. It has chunks of lobster in a toasted, buttered bun. It was $29.00. The most I have ever spent for a sandwich. I was disappointed because the amount of butter on the bun very much overshadowed the taste of the lobster. It was as if the bun was totally soaked in butter before it was toasted. They really could have put more lobster in the roll, or less butter. It was an almost complete waste of $29.00.

Laid Back & Good

By janisnla |

I don't know how TJ's has been under my radar for so long, but I'm thankful that I found it. My crab cakes were excellent, just as the sides (sriracha slaw & al dente yellow & green squash). Sean, the Sunday bartender, was a delight to visit with, & every employee seemed genuinely nice. I'll definitely be back.

"Fresh" reinvented!

By Lynne A |

Can't make a bad choice! The oysters on the half-shell were so fresh you could taste the seawater. There were three different oysters from Maine, Virginia and...Maryland? Our favorite was the Virginia oysters. Even the teenagers at our table ate and liked them! The Pistachio Crusted Chilean Seabass is so outstanding it's hard to discribed - and I don't like Pistachios!! It was fresh, tender, perfectly prepared and had no competition from the mashed potatoes or arugula. The guiltless Wedge salad was really yummy with fresh blue cheese and the shrimp were also so fresh again - you could taste the seawater - a whole new concept in the flavor of shrimp - not frozen! We found the Truffled Pomme Frites a bit overrated but they're so inconsequential to the entrees - who cares! If your a seafood lover and don't want to dress up - this is your place. Contemporary, fresh and outstanding food! It's rather pricey for Brunch but you can be secure in getting what you hope for in freshness AND you can buy from the fishmonger and take it home to cook yourself. Next time I'm going for the Tacos - fresh fish on a Taco - what a treat that should be!!

Always a Fresh Meal and Enjoyable Outdoor Setting

By John H |

You can eat well at TJ's Seafood and you can enjoy patio seating. I generally go once a week and enjoy the fish of the day. I've enjoyed tilapia as well as Fish n Chips. Friendly wait staff. Good portions. They need to add free wifi!

Best Seafood I have found in Dallas

By jojo k |

Ok, seafood is in the name, so you would expect them to care, but in Dallas, that's a pretty unique situation! Most shrimp in this town are terribly metallic and of pasty or rubbery texture... NOT SO here at TJ's. Their Shrimp Cocktail is by far the best in town - good size, great freshness, cleaned well (again, can't take that for granted), and a real portion (6-8 shrimp). The Lobster Roll is also good for being so very far from the NE. Fish and other seafood options haven't disappointed yet, and the fish counter at the front of the restaurant has good options to take home.Very recommended!

Yummmm.....Great seafood selection!

By 2go |

Started off at Happy Hour (daily hours= 3-6p except on Sat.) 1/2 price fish tacos, salmon burger, beers and wine! Ordered the Peruvian Ceviche. Fish was good but there was too much juice that made the dish too soupy. The sweet potato chips were great that came with it. The grilled fish tacos were so good and were full of flavor. (and they were 1/2 price!) Will have to make a trip back to check out the other fish selections on the menu!

Been wanting to come here - bummer I did!

By Mandy G |

This neighborhood fish restaurant was a big duds appointment. I have never written a review on trip advisor but this experienced prompted me to write one. Though the waiter tried to be nice, the service was incredibly slow. There was a disconnect between the description on the menu and what was served to us. I would definitely not recommend coming here.

A great seafood restaurant in Dallas

By Prof Bob |

Stopped by on Sunday evening and were greeted and served by Joe, the consummate professional food server. The interior décor is contemporary with a large bar on one wall. Joe's recommendations were spot on as we had succulent raw oysters from the northeast, a Connecticut lobster roll and crispy salmon collars. In addition to these, the fish and chips were so fantastic that they can compete with any from the UK as the fish was perfectly cooked with the crust crispy but not greasy while the fish was moist and tender. The wine list was great and from looking at the plates being served at nearby tables, I would expect any menu item will be a home run.

Seafood with class

By Michael C |

Very well prepared dishes with great taste but not too heavy, We had the branzino and the clam and mussel linguini. Excellent service and a pleasant but not over the top decor.

Not a Bass Pro Shop nor Red Lobster

By Henry |

Don't let the location of it being in a shopping center and its exterior deter you from going in. You will be pleasantly surprised. Ambiance was casual, yet classy. Clientele seemed upscale. Food was fresh, delicious, but portions are small, so ordering appetizer and desert is recommended. Pricing is mid- range to high. All and all great place all around.

The Market Far Better Than The Grill!

By DallasAlice51 |

I prefer the food at the T.J.'s over on Oak Lawn over the food at the Royal Lane location. I ordered their "authentic" lobster roll and was very disappointed. It consisted of a chunk of lobster on a small toasted roll oozing with butter. No real mayo or salad dressing, just butter. Also, there's no skimping on authentic lobster rolls! I find T.J.'s prices expensive for the meals delivered. Their limited Happy Hour from 3:00pm - 5:00pm wasn't much of a draw either. Could it be the odd hours?

Food Was Better than Expected

By lindilou |

A last minute decision was a great surprise. My friend, Jamey, found this restaurant on Google. We decided to skip the brunch menu and order from the dinner menu. I started with a cocktail called the Painkiller. It was fruity, but very good. We started with the Hickory & Alder Smoked Salmon Board. The salmon was delicious. It was like tuna chunks, smoky and very tasty. There was a piece of cheese, crackers, chopped egg white and egg yolk, capers, chopped onion and cherry tomatoes. We shared a crab cake. Wow!! It was really good and not at all greasy. I had the blackened Idaho Trout. It was flaky and crispy. Some of the best trout I've ever eaten. It was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Normally, I ask for a baked potato. Glad I went with the mashed potatoes. They were wonderful. The green beans had a delicious flavor, not waxy at all. Jamey had the lobster roll and french fries with sea salt. Deeelicious. He claims the lobster was oily. It was not. It was very good. They have three desserts, chocolate bread pudding, cheesecake with strawberry sauce and key line pie cheesecake. I had the latter. I really enjoyed it. TJ's was a wonderful, pleasant surprise. Try it, I guarantee you will love it. Oh, service was excellent.

Very nice seafood restaurant and fishmonger

By Joe B |

My wife and I have rediscovered TJ’ Seafood Market and Grill and we are glad we did! We really enjoy sitting at the bar where they serve the complete menu. We often stop by for a light dinner and glasss of wine and good conversation with the bartenders. Quality food, well crafted cocktails and a modest but complete wine list in a nice setting make this worth a visit!

like cape cod in dallas

By amy t |

the seafood here is always super fresh and delicious. lightly prepared and accompanied by creative and complementary sides. meals are thoroughly satisfying and leave you full but not too full to indulge in the dramatic deserts. In particular I find the grapefruit gin and tonic to be a perfect accent, elegantly prepared and beautifully presented as well. additionally i am somewhat of a fries freak and the fries here are top notch.

Amazingly Fresh Seafood

By DallasTexasfan |

Can't believe we have missed this place! Definitely a find! I have already been there twice in the past week.

Great place for dinner

By TallTexan75229 |

This restaurant has been lauded with awards from D Magazine and other publications as one of the best seafood restaurants in Dallas. I don't disagree with those accolades. The menu was just the right size of options, whether your wanted a sandwich or a full plate of food. The prices are a little high, which I expect to get fresh fish inland this far. I wouldn't consider them a ripoff, however. I had a lesser expensive cobia for around $25 and my friend had red snapper for $34. Not cheap, but not crazy I suppose. The dishes were made and presented beautifully, tasted great, and had nice sides. The wait staff were very professional and on their game. The kitchen was a tad slow the night we came, but we were enjoying ourselves and in no rush. The casual ambiance yet refined dining room was nice. It wasn't loud yet people were smartly dressed in shorts and polos. Not snotty but not at all an Applebees. I want to go back for a cheaper weeknight meal of a sandwich, or try some other items on their menu.

Fabulous fish

By jbmorris77 |

We ordered the sea bass with coconut rice substituted for the potatoes at the advice of our server. Our dinner was absolutely excellent, along with the wonderful service. Would highly recommend eating here. We will be back for sure!

The most charming lunch spot

By suplexandstilettos |

We were in Dallas for WM weekend. I wanted to get my make-up done at Blushington which is in the same strip plaza. The service was excellent. The lobster roll was to die for, I am still dreaming about it.We had a special dessert that came in a cute little glass dome dish I think it was Pannacotta. This place is a must go.

Among the freshest seafood in Dallas

By VeryWellTraveledGuy |

When we're thinking seafood for dinner, TJ's is always on the short list. The lobster rolls rival a trip to Boston, and they get most of their fish flown in daily for max freshness. They usually have a nice variety of oysters from both coasts. Wine list is decent and the service rocks too.

Not so fresh

By Margara2014 |

I went for lunch and after looking at the "lunch" menu they said that my choice was not available unless i paid dinner price $29 even do was printed in the lunch menu. The portion of the fish was very small and the quality of the fish was awful. The chef compensated with a thick overwhelming sauce to distract the taste from the obvious not fresh fish that was chewy and tasteless. The side dishes are equally bad. Coconut rice that was saggy and soft. And this is supposed to be a place where you can buy fresh fish.

Great seafood!

By Valerie F |

TJ's has moved into a new location and we went for lunch. The mahi mahi tacos and grilled fish of the day were superb. They have fresh seafood to purchase and cook at home or you can eat in the restaurant. The spicy slaw that comes as a side is also delicious. There is a nice wine list with interesting selections. We enjoyed lunch and will return to try dinner!

Fish Market turned restaurant

By JParlante |

It's always a good sign when the restaurant is packed! For years this was mainly a seafood market up the street. Now a restaurant with a small but excellent choice of entrees. The bread pudding with butterscotch sauce is worth saving some room.

Strip mall but WOW what a find

By Jim N |

I fish a lot. Outer Banks. The Florida Keys etc. I love fresh fish. I was in Dallas for business and a friend recommended that I visit TJ's. As I approached I was skeptical. I don't normally go to restaurants in strip malls. However, you should NOT miss this. It is such a cool place. You can almost pick the fish you want to eat from their fresh fish counter. Normally restaurants like this (with a market attached) are a bit low rent but the bar (where I sat) was top notch. Creative cocktails and a great vibe. If you like your lobster roll loaded with celery, peppers and other additives you may not like the roll but I LOVE when they don't screw up something so tasty. It was incredible. Also had some of the best Oysters I have ever had. A great spot.

EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!

By eatsallinsects |

My son, daughter and I went here for an early birthday meal. We had a fantastic appetizer tray. My daughter had a petite lobster roll; my son had lobster fritters and I had the crab cake Benedict with a side of Caesar salad. Iced tea for one. Bill was about $90.00 plus tip and we got to take remainder of appetizer tray home. The service by everyone was over the top. The owner walked the floor, greeting all customers.

Please support during Caronavirus

Wonderful seafood with great lobster rolls. Great truffle fries and wonderful hush puppies. Also, great gumbo. Please support with takeout.

Overrated and Expensive

By Traveler |

I heard great things about this restaurant. Was looking forward to dining at TJ's. Went to dinner with a few friends. Wait staff was not very friendly and shrimp and grits dish was nothing special. Grits were hard and dish served cold. Found it to be expensive as well. Needs improvement!

The food was good

By lucyNricky2015 |

We tried this place on a whim, thought we were going to a out of the way mom & pop place, but it was right in the middle of things (we are not used to Dallas congestion & parking). The place was clean, the people were real nice. It is small only about a dozen tables, and on Saturday night most of them were reserved. The only complaint that I had was the menu was printed so lightly it was hard to read in the dim lighting. The fish market part looked good.

Birthday dinner

By amexviajera |

Excellent food and service. Small venue so reservations are recommended if you have over 4 people. Was quite pricey however. The shrimp is absolutely some of the best ever.

It's Not Pretty, But It's Authentic Seafood

By John H |

I like TJs not so much because of the location or the setting, but because the fish is fresh. And I'd guess that's most important to everyone who selects a seafood restaurant. You can buy your own seafood to prepare at home, or you can sit down for a meal. The menu provides plenty of choices.

Fresh! Tasty!

By Surfowl |

There's nothing better than a restaurant connected to a super fresh, credible seafood restaurant. Everything was so amazing. The crab cakes are just like they should be: mega lump crab and not filled with a bunch of celery peppers and things that kill the taste. Fish was super fresh. Cocktails creative. This was an exceptional find!

Neighborhood Seafood Gem

By William H |

Situated in the busy, popular Preston Royal Shopping Center between downtown and the LBJ Expressway, TJ's offers a simple interior with clean lines, no pretense, and a seemingly complete line of seafood offerings that make the diner feel he or she is much closer to the ocean than landlocked Dallas. On this last occasion the waiter was of the professional class of waiters, pleasant, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu and its ingredients. If you're in the area and hankering for seafood--and a good glass of wine--try it out. The experience should be enjoyable.

Delicious food, beautiful presentation. excellent service

By 975maryr |

This award winning seafood restaurant is worth the stop. Besides the best trout dinner I’ve had, the ambiance is upscale and one can take fresh shrimp or other delicious seafood food home from the deli. Service was excellent.

Loved the decor, not the food

By Deenmachine |

I joined some friends here for brunch. I loved the decor of the restaurant. Beige and pale blues, very serene. The menu has a nice variety of items. Everyone around me seemed to enjoy their meals. I did not. I would not recommend the New England lobster roll. It was so bland that I had to add salt. The bun was yummy and buttery, but way bigger than the amount of lobster it held. Also, it cost $26! The restaurant has a good reputation and following, so I feel like I need to give it another chance. They do have a fresh seafood counter as well.

Outstanding, don't miss!

By Jason M |

This place has killer food (that means really good, mom) we just stumbled upon this classy seafood place in a strip mall by accident, but really glad we did. Very nice decor and excellent fine dining level service. Had the hot lobster roll $25 and the citrus glazed Cobia $19. All top of the line. You can't go wrong. Excellent classy date night place in a great area of Dallas.

FAVORITE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT CANNOT SURVIVE ON FAULTY SERVICE

By cvhjr |

Long time frequent patrons of this fresh fish restaurant. Casual atmosphere. Food is usually very good with interesting variety of fresh fish. Front is a market for take home - back is seating and bar. Couple of weeks ago , we walked in - meet the manager and were quickly seated and promptly forgotten. After 30 minutes plus and not able to get anyone's attention <not even a cocktail> - (including the manager who seated us) we walked out. The place wasn't crowded - we were simply ignored. I checked credit card statements and in the last 6 months we had been more than 10 times. Hell of a way to treat frequent guests. I let them know the next day - got the "usual" - "we hope you will give us another try". Thank you but there are a ton of new places to try before we go back to risk being ignored again.

By Invitation...

By Angelia31 |

TJ's was sampling various dishes to promote their catering services. Everything was beyond excellent. Complimentary wine and champagne, with paid bar available. Staff and managers were mingling to answer any questions about the food being served or services offered. Very pleasant event. Bought some things from their deli area.

Won't go back.

By John M |

This place has quite a reputation, but in my first (and last) visit, I simply did not see it. We were seated promptly, but it went south from there. The waiter was overly intrusive to get orders for courses taken, to the point he would interrupt conversation to as even though he had inquired just minutes earlier. I get they need to turn tables, but I do not get the lack of respect for the guests enjoying each other in conversation. Especially such an early (6:30) reservation. The salads were brought promptly and were very good. However, the entrees arrived before either of us was done-my wife had almost half her salad still to eat. But on a tiny 2 top table there was not room for all the plates, so we sent that salad away. Again, this is indicative of a waiter more focused on table turn than on guest experience and enjoyment. My wife's sea bass was great. I found my funny salmon to be unremarkable and bland. The veggies that came with both dishes were very good. I saw the GM making the rounds on the floor, but never once did he visit our table. The food was good, but I've had better; and the service lacked professionalism for place with such a great reputation. Maybe I just picked a bad night or a bad time.

Not worth the wait!

By DallasDoc |

We waited too long to receive a burnt tuna sandwich and a fish plate I did not order! When I did get my salad it was just a side salad! Will not be returning!

The freshest of the fresh!!!

By Suzana K |

Our waiter did a great job selling us on his favorites and as a result I tried the pistachio crusted sea bass which was good but I'll give the nod to the pan seared version which is simple and flavorful. The sides were good, my dish came with an arugula salad and I subbed in green beans. We also had mash potatoes and broccolini which were good too. We even had two desserts then panna cotta which was tasty. It was served with sour cherries, a must to completing the dish. And we had a great key lime cheesecake. Our waiter also recommended a moderately priced bottle of wine to pair with our meal.

Some of the Best Seafood in Dallas

By FoodLuvr09 |

This is a top notch seafood restaurant with a full bar and seafood market attached. The prices are high, but I assume standard for fish this fresh and mainly sustainable. This isn’t a generic fried seafood house, and I’m willing to pay the higher prices for this kind of quality. Good service, knowledgable staff, and a wide range of choices. We enjoyed east coast oysters, shrimp cocktail, fabulous lobster roll, crab cakes (with no filler), and pistachio crusted sea bass. Good selection of wines, too. Will definitely come back soon.

Just too expensive

By John H |

Visited numerous times in the last year. I like the sidewalk seating. Pleasant staff. Food is always good - especially fresh fish. It’s just too expensive.

Returned to TJ's. AMAZING!

By Surfowl |

I went back to TJ's because I remembered the seafood being super fresh and the owner and staff seemed to "care" about all of the aspects of the restaurant the last time I visited. It was the SAME amazing experience on my second visit. First, the restaurant also has a seafood market so you can browse the fresh seafood and get an idea of what you will be enjoying in the restaurant. Second, the owner seems pretty "hands on". He visited our table and welcomed us and recommended an amazing bourbon that they had just brought in. I like a restaurant where the owner is visible and cares. I recommend the crab cakes and lobster roll. Stupendous the second time around. Everything was perfect!
