Welcomed at the door, immediated seating, prompt service, Choice of water, ie Tap, Bottled or Tea. The Egg Plant Salad , & The Shephard salad were both excellent. We decided to have the Chicken Shish Kabob. SOOOOOOOGOOOOOD, the Home Made Bread. First time there, very impressed.

Easily the best meal I have had in ages! The hummus, dips and spreads are staples not to be missed - shepherd's salad was fresh and well dressed... the small is pretty big so if you're sharing start with that. Lahmacun was absolutely delicious - the dough was light and fresh, and the seasoning was perfect. I'm used to buying them in the city and freezing them so it was lovely to have fresh out of the oven. Everything we had was flavourful and made to perfection. The portions are pretty big, we ate the leftovers for two days. The staff was very, very nice & helpful (I think there were more people working there than customers). The atmosphere was good - i think we were sitting in a newer part of the restaurant - it was busy with people of all cultures chatting away in lots of different languages enjoying their meals. I will most certainly make the trek out there again, and next time I will bring more people so we can try, taste and share more!

Everything we are was really good. A bit expensive for the size of the portions but they make it up in quality. A must try is the bubble bread! Its beyond good and great to use to dip.

excellent gyro , kebabs and appetizers, tea and special sweets. very affordable and bring your own wine

Great food, good atmosphere, good service. The salads were great, fried liver, stuffed eggplant ,shish kebab, beity kebab, mixed grill, lamb chops were amazing. Excellent Turkish restaurant .

They even make the bread fresh ! Had no problem finding parking, it's a very nice area. Had the " Charlie Eggplant with Rice ", lamb chops, french fries, humus, the salad with the feta cheese, OMG, ordered a bottle of Cabernet. Turkish tea with fresh fruits on the house. It was cheap and the service was perfect. WHAT A PLACE !!!

I really enjoyed this place! It's really nice, without being formal or stuffy. I was with a family group and we ordered just about everything veg. Food was uniformly yummy and service always great. We had soups, salads, sides and nothing disappointed, including the bottle of wine we brought in.

Four of us came into this very big place at 6 pm on a Saturday and they were already packed. We waited about 10 minutes and were seated. We started with appetizers including a big salad, small spinach pies, and fried cheese rolls. All were excellent. The special, continually baked Turkish bread was placed hot on our table. For entrees, two of us had the Branzino fish and two, the mixed grill. The fish was a huge piece, head and all, and it came with a little salad and a cup of lemon juice. My wife and I had the mixed grill and it was a huge plate of meats we both could not finish. Baby lamb chop, pressed lamb, Turkish sausage, knobs of beef and on it went. We loved it. We brought our own wine and they opened it for us and supplied glasses. No charge. It was a great meal at about $50 per person including tax and tip. Excellent value.

My family has been going here for years either for a nice meal or for a special occasion--the food is consistently good and never fails to please any eater! Trying out other turkish restaurants is always a bit of a disappointing, as I've been unable to find a Turkish restaurant quite as good as this one! Don't be surprised if you see it packed on a weekday--try to come a bit earlier as you may have to wait a little bit before getting seated, but it's worth it! First off, the fresh bread they bring to the table is great--it's usually piping hot, but if it's not, just ask them to replace it and they will. They bake it right there! The Shepard salad (with feta) is absolutely perfection--they just have the mixture of flavors down and ingredients are always so fresh. May be the best Shepard salad you'll ever have. Other great items include the hummus and fried eggplant. We also go for the fried calf liver, which is a must for a Russian! The lahmacun (turkish pizzas) are quite tasty and the portion size is large. The entrees are also great particularly the lamb--it's seasoned very well and grilled just ride! And, of course, the Shrimp Casserole is a "must" for shrimp lovers. I'd recommend coming with a larger group and sharing a combination of the appetizers and entrees so you can try them all as you can easily over order here. The ambiance is great for a family meal; it's a bit loud inside as there are kids and large groups, but great place for groups to go. It's also BYOB which is always a plus! The service is not always perfect but it's completely fine! The value you get for you money is also great--relatively large portions and very tasty food!

Taci's Beyti is amazing place, where you can meet with your friends, date or family. It's perfect place to enjoy the food and at the same time learn something new about Turkey. My favorite dish is Iskander with the salad and the bred. For the deserts I recommend Kunefe šš»š»

Having seen a number of raving reviews, I wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time. Today, with a family of friends in tow, I finally got a chance. Well, first I have to point out the rather odd no-reservations/yes-reservations policy. Apparently, it is possible to place a reservation several days in advance, but it is not possible to do so, 30-40 minutes prior, while en route to the place. It is double-frustrating to have the short-term reservation request refused, then arrive at the restaurant's door and be told to wait for at least 20-30 minutes to be seated. I mean, really? Ok, so we saw the place being packed and hoping that the food would be worth it. To pass the time, we visited a small bookstore across the street (in retrospect, I think, the bookstore has more character and is more authentic than this over-hyped restaurant, but I digress). When we finally got seated and placed our order, it did not take long to figure out the real reason for the place to be so packed: the service is quite slow with not enough waiters serving the needs of a packed house. All in all, it took about 40-50 minutes for us to get from the appetizers to the main course and ,when the main course dishes arrived, I felt all but cheated again. Yes, the food was OK, but I can name at least three other Turkish restaurants, within the 3 miles radius, whose food is noticeably better, whose service is friendlier and prompter, and whose overall dining experience is...well, better. For me and my friends, Tacis Beyti was a "visit once" place. Conversely, it also shows how outdated some of Zagat ratings have become. I can imagine this place being the "Turkish jewel" of Coney Island 15-20 years ago, but the world moved on since then. New and better places have opened up in the area. I invite you to look for and visit them instead!

While there are many great restaurants in Brooklyn, there aren't that many in this particular part of Brooklyn. Appetizers were tasty as were main dishes (we had chicken and veal) and dessert (we had some sort of custard but I didn't quite catch what it was called. I've had good Turkish food in Turkey and in several cities in the US... and while this wasn't the best, it was really good.

Stopped by here for lunch not long ago. Was recommended by a colleague. The restaurant is clean, nice and wait staff courteous. I had the mushroom salad with cornichons which was light and not heavy. The tomato salad with cucumbers was delicious. My main course was the Chicken Adana and again, very good. The roasted tomato on the side had a nice grilled flavored. The portions were large I had a nice take home package. The Turkish coffee was strong, flavorful and sweetened which I prefer. I am definitely coming back to try the other dishes. I don't think you'll be disappointed

I had high hopes for this place, I liked the design and the layout, the service was decent. You would think that with all their effort that they put into this to make it nice that they could make better food. The rice if you would call it that, was like a ricelet or half the size of a regular rice, but like I said this place is ok not perfect, it was clean for the most part, a little congested though, tables so close to each other like they must utilize every ounce of space. I cannot say I would come back though cause I have tasted better and design alone is not enough to keep me loyal to them.

Decide to come second time all the way from Westchester. We really enjoyed!!! We had a small Mix appetizer which is 6 varieties : 3 different eggplant spread ,hummus ,yogurt with cucumber. Also , we got lahmacun but size was changed than last time but still best Turkish pizza For main we had mix kebab mostly lamb taste is way better than city !!! The service was very good. Only problem was we didn't have break between foods. We had main before finish appetizer and lahmacun.

Not the 1st time at this place but 1st time reviewing. Excellent place to have dinner. Ordered large Mixed appetizer plate, Cacik, Fried liver cubes, Lamb chops and Shish kebab. This was more than enough for 3 people. Every dish was excellent. (Shish kebab was a bit salty this time but still very good). If you want to try good Turkish food - this is the place to go.

I am from Brooklyn and never ate here until recently. Food and service very good....no complaints. However, we went on a Sunday, it was crowded, and the noise level was atrocious. We actually had to yell to be heard. We couldn't even understand the waiter. My advice.....if possible, go during the week so you don't have to yell to be heard. This place allows you to byob but you can purchase drinks if you want. Prices are reasonable

Drove an hour to eat here, and it didn't disappoint. A lot of appetizers and one main dish did it for us (two people) on the recommendation of our waiter. Didn't even have room for the baklavas, even though they looked delicious!

Visiting our favorite number 1 daughter who lives in Brooklyn we decided to have her birthday dinner early and splurge at this venue. Very wise decision! We were greeted and seated promptly even though we had no reservations and we were there at 7:00 pm. Perfect timing as very soon the place filled up. In fact, throughout our dinner I noticed several tables turned over twice. The venue is not large: a row of tables were perpendicular to the side wall and the other row, horizontal. The tables are covered with white linen and white table paper. Very nice! Soon, a pitcher of water, a basket of pide and butter were brought by a Turkish speaking busgirl. In fact all the wait staff are Turkish with half being female. I noticed that the waitstaff operated as if this was a concert: very precise, very professional and very pleasant. The kitchen was full of Turkish cooks under the direction of a master chef. We opted to get a bottle of Yakut, a red wine by Kavaklidere wines in Turkiye. Our choices of food were Beyti kebab for Michael, our daughter's former colleague, Adana kebab for me and Iskender kebabs for my wife and daughter. We also shared a large plate of coban salata. What a feast!! Incredible tastes!! After we devoured our dishes the waitstaff brought a small plate of tel kadayif dessert with a single candle and sang a birthday greeting. Wonderful gesture. Bottom line: for a table of four and a bottle of wine the bill was $90. Not too bad for a delicious meal in a very enjoyable setting. We noticed that most of the clientele spoke either Turkish or Russian and some other language. We would go back without hesitation the next time.

I took my parents to this out of the way restaurant. What I found was a GEM! The foods were sooooo delicious, I'm still thinking about it...I am going to get an order to go for the plane ride.. Its an authentic Turkish Food Restaurant..The appetizers were amazing from the fried liver cubes to the Boreks.(cheese filled filo dough) to the sheperds salads.simply delcious. I had the Iskender Kebob..which is thinly sliced Gyro..on a mixed yogurt sauce & pita bread with a beautifully delicious tomato sauce topping...It was so good I actually ordered one to go...The deserts.wow.the baklava fantastic...best I had... The waiters and staff are very friendly & attentive. The ambiance is quaint with Turkish music playing...I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is traveling to Brooklyn.

We've always had a nice experience every time we've had a meal here. Friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The wait staff is always happy and hospitable.. The grilled trout was really great and fresh. For dessert, definitely try the baklava.

This restaurant feels like you are stepping into another place upon arrival. It is not a snazzy place but it feels comfortable. The menu was very interesting especially for someone who never had similar food. Thank good that I was guided in my selections by my daughter and her boyfriend. Did not regret it at all. Had good appetizers (based on eggplant) and later had a type of lamb stew. My only complaint? The portions were very generous and had little room left for much else. Good place to explore this type of food.

Fist time I ate at this restaurant,But will not be last..... Great taste, huge choises, kind and quick service Don't forget to make reservation before go Doner was the best after long time..... Delicious Everything was like in Istanbul Thank Tiu very much guys......

I was a faithful eater at Sahara, not to far away. I was told to try this palce and boy was I happy. The Humus was fantastic and honestly all the food was good. I cant wait to come back with my family.

Excellent Turkish food & great service.

We've been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years. Recently it undergo renovation and now it's very nice, but food is still the star of this place. It's always fresh! Their Shepard salad with cheese and basturma- omg, delicious! Their liver cubes- the best! I can't eat them anywhere else, I always compare them to Taci's. I also really love their French fries, believe it or not, they are handmade and not frozen, and usually we fight who gets the last one, lol.. Shrimp sautƩ are tasty, with tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese.. Eggplant spread and hummus- yummy.. Shish kebobs are great, their little pizzas- I love. Anyways, anytime you want to eat healthy, and not spend an arm and a leg- go to Taci's Beyti- you won't be disappointed. And be prepared to wait on the weekends, it's always busy. But if you come 8 people or more- call and reserve a table..

Went for a suprise luncheon on a sunday afternoon. I was very pleased. I learned they're family owned business. A nice touch, a lot of families tables were there. I look forward to returning

We celebrated a family member Birthday party at this restaurant. We loved everything about the place: the food, the atmosphere, the ambiance, the waiters. I highly recommend it it to anyone with party plans. They're very accommodating, have good food, great service, pleasant waiters. Will definitely be back at the place.

Went last sunday for our second time with friends again We wait a little bit but worth it Food amazing as ever , helpful waiters, we bought our own beer and this time they have a cool idea to bring a metal cilinder full of ice to keep the beers cold!! VERY APPRECIATED Best Turkish in NYC WE will be back soon!!

Be ready to walk a few blocks since parking can be hard to find on Coney Island Avenue. We like their food so much we order extra Shepherd's Salad to go and also their Kunefe dessert. The Shepherd's Salad is a very generous portion of cut up small tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and green peppers with olives. We have them add feta cheese. The olive oil and lemon juice is perfect. I always get their Kusbasili Pide. The Pide is Turkish bread with a finely baked very nice crust and inside is cut up steak, green peppers, red peppers, tomatoes and onions. For dessert we always get the Kunefe. Delicious and unique. It is shredded dough layered with sweet kunefe gourmet cheese, baked golden brown and served with honey syrup and pistachio topping. They also bring warm Turkish bread to the table. My husband likes to order their lamb kebob. Waiters give good friendly service. Be prepared to have some food leftover for the next day. For the food you get prices are very reasonable and portions generous.

This place is great the food is delicious and responsible. Everything comes out to share. The gyro is unbelievable. You will gain 5 lbs here. Don't miss the cheese cigars and well as the salads.

Initally, we weren't sure what to order. The waiter asks our tastes and then gave us great suggestions. The food was fantastic.

A casual Turkish restaurant. Looks popular with the locals. A menu is of average length containing Turkish cuisine staples. BYOB option is available. Noisy and festive. Not for "special intimate" atmosphere. They do not take reservations for small parties and you may have to wait if you come during regular busy dinner hours. Not all the dishes are equally good. Pickled vegetable appetizers are a bit too vinegary.

As I'm writing this I'm in the restaurant. I ordered chicken adana and was told sold out. so I ordered Chicken Kebab and it came out with no Rice??? I asked why no rice? They said its a side dish now? What happened? I guess its too expensive. service is descent but wish I would've known about the rice. Food is good. I won't comeback because of the rice.

We had reservations for 8 p.m. and our table was ready even though the restaurant is super busy. We were 6 people and decided to get the deluxe banquet. The food was all freshly made!!! The Cold appetizers were so yummy especially the tarator dip. We had a selection of seven. The hot bread was also fresh and warm. Hot appetizers were also great! My fav was cheese sigara. We had three huge entrees that were enough for 6 people. The mix grill was juicy, fish and a shrimp casserole with mozzarella. Then a variety of desserts. The best thing about the meal was the way they paced the meal and bought each course. All the food was fresh and the service was amazing. This place is better than all the turkish restaurants in Brooklyn for sure. I have eaten at most of the known ones like Sahara but this restaurant bets them all. Fresh, hot and fast service!!!! All the waiters greeted us on the way out so did the manager. Came out to $39 a person before taxes. Great Deal!!

Will return. Inviting ambience, delicious food and good service. 7pm on a Friday evening, we were seated right away. A waiting staff was examining two wine glass against the light and when he was satisfied, he put on our table, which was next to their glass cabinet. Throughout the evening, more glasses were added to the cabinet and inspected before being placed on the tables. I thought about the dirty fork at Half Moon the other day ⦠the devil is in the details. Although all the food we ordered and shared were delicious, but the tender cubical calf liver is worth an extra shout: for I rarely eat inside stuff and they were yummy. We finished two bottles of red: you can bring your own wine. Not sure they charge corkage. Before we left, they surprised us with a huge plate of fruits. Thank you so much!! Street parking, free after 7pm.

Appetizers are fun. I suggest you order at least 4. Spinach triangles, tartar, white beans are some of my favorites. The shepherd's salad is great, I like it better without cheese but its fantastic with cheese too. The mixed grill platter is a must for meat lovers. It is perfectly seasoned. Gyro is the best in the world. The whole fish dishes are tasty too. The white rice is very good with the whole grilled trout. Been going here for 24 years only one problem, food has been a bit salty the last few times I've been there.

Wonderful appetizers like tarator, fried spinach in filo dough, and hummus. Whole broiled fish with lemon dressing is superb and so is the mixed grill. Good service too

Im giving this restaurant 4 because it is the decent turkish food i have ever ate in america. Irs nothing compared to turkey. Iskender kebob was a disaster. But i still enjoyed it. Its strange how you can not find anything similar to food in turkey though all are turkish. But i recomend it

We came for an early supper. The salads we ordered were nice (it took them pretty long to bring us the bread- toasted) and the main dis Salamon Shish was very good! We had a nice time. Clean. Except for the bread... the service was good.

Had an early dinner yesterday sunday and i had a pleasure time enjoying from the service first very attentive, tasty meal and cool decor We brought our own beer and they didnt charged ant fee wich was a truly appreciated We will wish to come back soon at this piece of Turkey in the middle of Brooklyn Thumbs up!!!

red lentil soup was very good. my lamb was good. hadnt tried turkish before... not sure its my thing. service was a little slow.

This place is packed most hours after 5 pm and for good reason. The chicken and kabob grills are amazing, the lamb chops are melt in your mouth good, and I can't get enough of the salad. Expect a wait up to an hour on Friday and Saturday. There is no real slow night here. BYOB and there is a very large liquor store with a parking lot right across the street.

Delicious Turkish food offered by Taciās Beyti. Good service and food was fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Well located and comfortable seating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try out good Turkish food.

Came here one rainy Monday night. Quite busy. Good welcome and attentive staff. Had lahmajun and Lamb kebabs. Really good. A bit of a trek from where we were staying (Sugar hill in Harlem) but worth it

I ate at this restuarant last night for the first time with another couple. Absolutely loved everything about it- the food, service, and ambiance all terrific. The ingredients were fresh and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I will definately be coming back!!

We tried a variety of dishes -- all were deliciously seasoned. The lamb sautƩe was especially nice. Staff is attentive but do not rush diners. We had a relaxed dining experience and would happily repeat.

we stopped in at lunch today. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated, the waiter was very friendly and helpful. The real star was the food. I had the Iskenderun kabob (Gyros) and my wife had a grilled lamb kabob. Both dishes were very generous portions. Both were tender and very flavorful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We are from Australia but visit Brooklyn regularly as we used to live in Brooklyn. We usually visit Sarah on each of our visits but this time decided to try Tacki's as we had heard great things about it. We weren't disappointed! We visited for lunch. The service was quick and polite. The food however was out of this world. Do yourself a favour and visit this place soon. We had two dips, the chopped salad and a lamb dish. All were sensational and reasonably priced. Our friend's sister had lived in Turkey and she said it brought back great memories of her time there. We are planning to visit again before we leave.

There are at least a dozen Middle Eastern and or Turkish restaurants in the immediate area. Some are more well known, but none are better. All the wait staff speak English (not the case in many nearby establishments) Very authentic. The fish is done to perfection as is all the other choices. Salads are big and seasoned well. Soups are bursting with flavor. Crowded and noisy usually with a wait for a table. BYOB or buy across the street.

Had the cold string bean salad which was just ok. Had the chicken kabob for my entree and my husband thought it was a bit too salty and I thought the chicken had a rubbery texture. Bread was yummy and our waiter was friendly.

Do not waster your time here. I have received the wrong delivery order three times in a row. When I called to tell them, I was received by an extremely rude woman who proceeded to argue with me (insisting that I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about) and refused to resolve my situation. She finally hung up on me and I was left with my wrong order.

The food is fresh and amazing. The employees are very professional and helpful. The process are reasonable. And I will be returning again

From the warm crispy bread to the liver to the cacik to the pan fried eggplant to the red lentil soup - the appetizers were very good. For main dishes we had beyti and diced shish kebabs. Dessert figs and kunefe were also very good. If we asked for something, it was at our table less than 30 seconds. Unbelievable service, VERY good food, tasty, seasoned perfectly. I felt like I was in eating in Turkey. The only bad thing is that we had to wait 30 minutes on a Sunday night, BUT WELL WORTH IT. Highly recommend reservations

Needed to order a quick carryout for party of 6. Was ready in no time for pickup. Good quality, fresh and tasty food.Thank you (teshecur edderum)

Very good authentic turkish dishes unlike your typical run-of-the-mill turkish restaurant. Very good service. Also great turkish coffee, pastries and sweets.

I took my family to this restaurant for my mother's birthday. My parents are elderly and my father is in a wheelchair. The staff was very attentive to my father's needs. The atmosphere was lively. The entrees were delicious including swordfish, salmon kebab and lamb. The dessert we had was outstanding- a Turkish specialty made of cheese and thin noodles. Overall the experience was a treat and I highly recommend the place.

Everyone was friendly, food great, desserts amazing. Super clean, great for toddlers they did not mind my 20 month old grandson walking around. Can't wait to return.

Friends, we paid 188 USD + tip just for the main course without drinks and dessert for 3 people. If you like your budget, do not even pass by that restaurant. They may charge you money per step, so be careful.

I have been here before , but it's my first review About this restaurant. The tastes are not bad but not I expected to be.Everything is very very salty, even I like to eat salty ,it was also much much more. The Kebaps are not really the best The tastes are average.

We always get food from Taci's Beyti at least once a week for our Dental and Medical Office on Ocean Avenue and I love the food. The delivery guys are usually nice such as Murat; however, today the delivery guy, tall with long hair, was very rude. Total was $31 and I gave him $5 tip. I'm saying this because if I don't tip then I'd understand the attitude but he has no reason to give me attitude. No thank you but just cocky behavior. It's really disappointing.

I called to order in. When they picked up, not only was it very noisy in the background, but we were hung up on twice. I don't think they'll get a second chance as first impressions are very important.

I have been eating in this restaurant for years but never posted a review. I just got back from a trip to Turkey and I appreciate this restaurant even more. The food is always fresh, meals are served quickly and the staff is friendly. The Doner Kebab is the best, I love their fresh salads and they have the best French Fries, not the frozen type you see in most restaurants.

What a place. The selection of food is great. Everything is fresh and delicious. My favorite are the cheese cigars. The Shepardās salad and the lamb gyro. The food is outstanding. Wear loose clothes

Great food. I could go on and on but to really appreciate this restaurant, just go there. You will be treated to a filling feast.

I have been to this Restaurant 20 years ago and did not like it too much. My friends convinced me that things have changed and that the place is a good place for Turkish food. After my second visit, 20 years later, I can say that nothing has changed. Food is good, but nothing special. Service is friendly but sporadic due to the place being busy. Will I visit the place again? Yes. In another 20. Brooklyn has a variety of Turkish Restaurants that are worth while visiting, but not this one.

By any stretch of imagination, this is definitely NOT a classy place to bring a date (unless you're into cheap ones), although food is decent, the service is not and prices is not all that cheap either. I wouldn't recommend this place to people I care for...

We have been coming to this place for quite sometime. Has not changed ( except for the expanded dining room& renovation) .Food is always good. From the appetizers of shepherds salad, fried liver, sautƩed eggplant to our entree of lamb sautƩ & lamb chops .Guaranteed food was on point and quite delicious. Can bring your own wine ( no corkage fee!!!!) or alcohol. Don't miss to order Kenefe with your Turkish tea or coffee. Friendly wait staff. Fast service. Highly recommend.

We love dining at the restaurant. The salads are large and tasty. The appetizers are delicious. The fish, shrimp and other entrees are very fresh and well prepared. Many family groups come here because of the great food and their BYO policy. We used to go to Manhattan for Turkish and Mediterranean seafood but ever since we discovered Tacis, we enjoy great food closer to home.

Easily accessible by public transport.. Delicious Food and reasonably priced. Generous portions.Shall visit again !!!

By are real foodies and especially when it comes to Turkish Food. This place rocks! The atmosphere is nothing special but the food quality and quantity are great! We tried an appetizer plate, size small. We chose 5 different appetizers form a huge list. Absolutely delicious! We also shared a traditional salad of cukes, tomatoes, red onion; we opted to add cheese and devoured the entire plate. We will most definitely return for more!

My brother-in-law & his wife, who are NYC foodies, suggested we go here. OMG.....between the four of us we ordered mostly appetizers & lots of them. All were absolutely delicious! The sigara are not to be missed. I can't wait to go back and sample more of their extensive menu. And it's BYOB, which makes it really inexpensive.

We have been going to this Restaurant for over 30 years, has never disappointed us. It was owned by the father now the son runs the store, food is still the same ( delicious.)

If you love Turkish food, you will definitely not be disappointed eating in or taking out. Everything is so good. If it's your first time, get the hummus ( best in Brooklyn), eggplant spread, Shepard salad with feta, chicken kebab over rice and for fish I just love their salmon kebab with a garden salad. Everything is fresh, satisfying portions and friendly service. Ask about their special round bread. It's yummy. Enjoy!

We like this place a lot. They have great variety of Mediterranean food, very tasty. They are pretty busy in the evenings, so we prefer to reserve a table. Service is good, but a bit slower at busy times. Prices are reasonable but not low.

Small and cozy, this is a reasonably priced Turkish restaurant, with a typical yummy menu. Tasty lamb kebabs, adana, and other classics are available. Baklava was a bit too crusty. They have a nice wine list. The service is most impressive as the wait staff is available to serve any table, and answer questions. I've been there before, and we would definitely go back!

The food is the best in Brooklyn. They just remodeled the place. Highly recomended. Avoid Fri, Sat as its very crowded!

We visited this place with the whole family. All of us enjoyed the food that was VERY delicious, personnel was very polite, quick and pro-active, prices are decent. I recommend this place very much!

I have been coming here for over 15 years and I have never had a bad experience with food or with the staff. Everything is always amazing quality and affordable. That is very hard to do in the restaurant business. After they gained tremendous success with the locals they somehow remained their consistency. Love this place. Always my go to Turkish place.

Great chicken gyro and awesome chicken Adana. Overall this is a great place. They also deliver locally.

Bring your own wine (we were not charged a corkage fee) and start with lots of small plates - every one is a winner. I love the taboulli and the tarama, everyone at the table will have their own favorite. The fish and the grilled meats are all excellent, fresh, high quality, well prepared and seasoned. The french fries are out of this world, like the best, home made fries you've ever had, still sizzling as they arrive to the table. The wait staff is capable and quick. Desserts, especially the baklava and the kunefe are perfect companions for the strong and hot turkish coffee, made to order as you like it in an individual finjan. Very reasonable prices. Stop and check out the wonderful old photos enlarged to decorate the front room and you'll get a short family history.

We' ve been to this place numerous times. Very casual place not much of an atmosphere or decor, but food is exceptional and not very expensive. hey do not have a liqueur license, so if you want a glass of wine or beer - Bring your own. Definitely the best Turkish food in Brooklyn and one of the best in New York.

The mixed grill is succulent and delicious. Turkish bread is warm and ready for any of the dips. The hummus with pastrami is not as exotic as it sounds and next time I'll stick with hummus or eggplant dip or cacik. Shepherd salad is chunky, fresh and tasty. The feta is mild. Branzini filet is as good as any fish you'll get near the bay. Beer and wine only so stop up the block for your favorite bottle of vodka and you'll fit right in.

Visited the restaurant yesterday. Not my first time. The food is consistently good although pricey. The place is tight and noisy. Be prepared to be hustled to leave the table once you are done eating. Made me feel very uncomfortable

This was the worst Turkish food I've ever had in the US or Turkey. I have no idea why it has such good reviews, those people have clearly never had real good Turkish food. Nothing we ordered was even OK.

place never fails to deliver fresh good food and service. either you order of menu or get a fixed price you will come ahead. leave room for deserts.

Until a few months ago, I hadnāt really had authentic Turkish food. I was simply blown away by the quality of the dishes and oh! So many amazing flavors! The service is top notch and not rushed. Definitely a great place to spend an evening enjoying great food and fine company.

Well, this place is packed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...etc., while many restaurants are not even half full on Saturdays. This is my favorite place in Brooklyn for Turkish cuisine. Everything tastes very good there. Do not expect fancy interior. All tables are next to each other. No dividers or privacy. They can seat two people to 20 people. I personally think that it's not a good place for large party (sometimes it gets very loud), but it's perfect for 2-6 people. They let your bring your own liquor. As far as food, I recommend shrimp or chicken sautƩ (I usually ask them to prepare it without cheese). I am sure whatever you order, you will enjoy.

Went here for my Dad's 60th Birthday lunch. Made a reservation last minute which was accommodated. The service was great and so was the food. We come here often and will continue to come.

Went to Taci Beyti on Monday night for dinner. Place was almost packed but we were seated in no time. Food is excellent, great service and a worm atmosphere, not expensive at all. Was pleased to see a diversity of food and every tin that we ordered was absolutely fresh. Writers are very polite and accommodating. Would gladly go back there

Can honestly and unequivocally say that Taci's is by far the best Turkish restaurant outside of Turkey. Flavorful, enormous portions, all cooked to perfection. Service is to notch, location is easy to find, and setting is aesthetically pleasing. My family and I have been going here for 20 years and it's still as delicious as it was the first time we visited.

Great food with good and courteous service. If you are interested in turkish food and deserts than this is a good place. I am vegetarian but we had non- vegetarian also with us. All enjoyed various dishes as per their choice followed by deserts and coffee , if you have taste for it. Service was both quick and courteous.

Went in April with me and my wife with another couple waited got a table and as usual food was great. Everyone got fish and I always get 1 1/2 order of lamb gyro .the meat is so good . The desert was great . And when I can't get there on weekends I order and foot even delivered is always hot and fresh .

My husband and I love to try new food from different parts of the world, so today we decided to try Turkish food. We didn't know what to expect but were nicely surprised, food was fresh and cook to perfection the mix grill was great also the cube liver. But they hit a homerun with the dessert we had the kunefe and couldn't stop eating delicious. Service was great, had to wait half anhour for table but was worty. Only thing I miss was some tTurkish music to make the experience complete. This place was amazing considering we were the only not Turkish there. Must try!!!!!

One of the best middle eastern eateries and very well priced. Had eaten there numerous of time and quality is always great. try to avoid going there on hallmark holidays if you really want to enjoy your meal without being rushed.

We arrived at the restaurant around 6 p.m. on a Saturday night. The main dining room was full, but after a very short wait, we were seated in a room adjacent to the main dining room. This room housed several large groups so it was a little noisy, although not intrusively so. The restaurant is quite pretty with brick walls and nice lighting. Service was good. We started with appetizer of spinach pie, large enough for two. Followed by large entree of ground lamb on the spit (doner kebab), with leftovers to go. We initially had not been given a wine list, but inquired after dinner and were told they did have a wine list, but you could also bring your own bottle with no corking charge. Parking on the street. Highly recommend!

We needed a place to eat in Brooklyn for a large party and someone mentioned this Turkish restaurant on Ave. P in Brooklyn. It was Friday right before lunch and we called ahead to let them know there would be 25 of us. They accommodated us no problem. We brought a few bottles of liquor with us and ordered the banquet menu which at $32.50 was a steal! The food kept coming with no end. Everything was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was nice and attentive and had no problem giving us extra dishes of the food we really liked. Our group came from Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey and wehad some Brooklyn natives as well and we all agreed this was the best Turkish food we ever had!

Just come! The food is amazing, the staff lovely and the prices cheap. There will be a line so plan accordingly. Totally worth it.

We really enjoyed our experience in this restaurant. Liver cubes, salads, and eggplant spread were delicious. The Lamb chops and Branzini were amazing. Also the service was really good. Highly recommend.

I have been going here for 22 years regularly and it is the best food! Appetizers are fun, tasty and fresh. The wait staff is fast and helpful! The shepherd's salad, tarator, mixed grill, spinach pies, grilled trout.... the list goes on and on.....delicious. The food is always served cooked to perfection. Prices are fair. Quality of the food is great. Highly recommended. Take out is also fantastic. Try the gyro sandwich, enough for two meals. BYOB

The perfect place for excellent food. The service as good as it can be. We felt as we where in Turkey. We had a lovely time and if we ever will come back to New York we certainly will come back to this superb restaurant again. We will however try to bring some friends with us so we can try more dishes. Do not miss the fantastic pan fried liver. It is outstanding. Torbjƶrn Rudstrƶm

I have eaten here numerous times and each time is better than the pervious! This place provides great food, with a wonderful ATMOSPHER to enjoy eating with family and friends!!!I

I went to Tacis Beyti for the first time, and I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, one of the best lamb that I've ever eaten! Most of all, the service was amazing. All the the people who work there are so kind and polite. I really enjoyed everything. Great job. I'll come back sooner.

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere! Parking is rough.

Off the beaten path restaurant (from Manhattan, anyway....) but definitely worth the trip. This restaurant was recommended to me by my Turkish home improvement contractor as one of the best (if not the best) Turkish restaurants in NYC. He was correct. Everything we tried was delicious. The only item that was "ordinary" in the sense of as good but no better than what I've had at other Turkish restaurants was the dessert. (It was still delicious). So, I recommend getting on the Q or B train and getting off at King's Highway, walk 7 minutes and enjoy.

One of my favorite places in Brooklyn. Friendly servers and manager, food is very flavored and tasty. Especially meat is soft and juicy.

Taciās Beyti is an absolute classic and one of the best spots for authentic Turkish food. It has been around for so many years, and after eating here, itās easy to see why. Itās consistently excellent, comforting, and unforgettable. I always start with the Shepherd Salad, which comes beautifully topped with a generous layer of cheese that covers the entire surface. Itās fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. Alongside it, they serve bread straight from the oven: crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and paired perfectly with their salty, melty butter. Itās so good that I sometimes fill up just on the bread and salad before the main dishes even arrive. Another must-order appetizer is the cheese cigars. These are outstanding: crispy, golden filo dough wrapped around a warm, gooey filling of cheese and herbs. They come out piping hot, straight from the kitchen, so as tempting as it is to bite right in, youāll want to let them cool just slightly (Iāve burned my mouth more than once because I couldnāt resist!). For mains, I usually go with either the mixed grill platter or the chicken shish kebab if Iām keeping it simple. Every single meat on the platter is cooked to perfection. The lamb is tender and full of flavor, the chicken shish is juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the lula kebab is packed with spices and absolutely delicious. Honestly, you canāt go wrong with any of the meats. Theyāre all phenomenal. But the true star of Taciās Beyti, the thing that keeps me coming back over and over again, is their hummus. This is hands down the best hummus I have ever had in my life. Itās homemade, creamy yet still has that slight texture from the chickpea skins, which I personally love. The flavor is rich, smooth, and unlike anything else. Every time I try hummus anywhere else, I find myself comparing it to this oneāand nothing even comes close. Taciās Beyti is a timeless gem. The food is authentic and consistently incredible, the flavors are bold and fresh, and the atmosphere makes it feel like a true neighborhood staple. If you want the best Turkish food around, this is the place to go.

Very nice Turkish restaurant we had salads we bring our alcohol we had the Maine menu very testing meal a lot of meats and the end we had suits very good I suggest to people in NY to test these meals I'm very sure they going to like it thank you. All

the Service is a bit slow, since they always so busy but the food is Amazing. try it all you won't regret it.

We ate here on a busy Sunday night but our party of six was seated quickly. Everything is prepared fresh. Tamara, borek, eggplant appetizers and shepherd's salad were super. The kebabs were spicy and delicious and the fresh fruit plate for dessert was perfect. Try the Turkish wine - a delightful accompaniment and very inexpensive.

I go to this place for party's and groups and I come just me and my wife . Always respectful never wait long for table . The price is right . And the food is great from the fish to the meats and salads just perfect
Okay nothing extraordinary or memoriable
Visited late on a Saturday night, it was packed, but was seated within 5 minutes. Large open tables good family style restaurant. Had the mixed grill lamb, the dish contained four different types of lab, with raw marinated onions, a roasted tomato, a roasted pepper, pita bread a choice of rice or fries for $1.00 more. The food was salty with no distinctive or unique flavor, the salted meat with a mild Turkish flavor. The lamb chop was cut extremely, very extremely thin, it was over cooked and tough, the diced lamb cubes tasted grilled no flavor, so was the minced lamb. Although the gyro meat had the best flavor of all the meats, it contained so much salt that it became inedible. This place is not recommended for people with hypertension. My daughter had chicken gyro and said it was tender. The waiter were not friendly, nor were they unpleasant, they just was not accommodating to serving people new to the menu asking questions. It appears to have a large following, but I have eaten better very memorable Turkish food and this place does not come close.
