We came in for the decoration: fun, colorful, very Mexican. The hostess was a little snobbish (we didn’t like the table she offered and she wasn’t very helpful finding another one, so we just sat on the bar), but our waitress (actually bar tender), was nice. First we had guacamole and chips. Nice! Then we ordered bacon avocado quesadillas and red snapper ceviche. The quesadilla came out pretty quick. A bit bland in our opinion. The ceviche never came so at some point I asked and apparently they either forgot it or served it to a wrong table. So our experience there was just OK. Food is ok. Service is just ok. I expected more but I’d be willing to give it another try some other day.

The restaurant is really really good. You have tablets to put in your order but the staff is also there to help you if you need. There is a good selection of tacos, the only negative point is the price, a little too expensive for the type of food. Cocktails and drinks are also great, wide variety and good if you want to experience something different.

Good food, excellent service, especially “Laura”, a charming and intelligent young woman who was very dedicated to her work, was attentive to everything.

We order a couple of item from the menu but nothing stood out. We left half our food. It was a bit pricey when you to add the service charge but you pay for the location. Drinks were good. Wouldn’t be back.

The food and Jesus was great the food had a lot of flavor and there food service was really fast and yummy.

My family and I were traveling through Miami from the Keys and stopped to eat at this restaurant after shopping for a bit and man we did not know what we were in for! The hostess was super accommodating to us and friendly. Pedro, our server was awesome with us as a newcomer. He explained how things work, how to order, suggested items to eat and our food came out quickly. We loved we could order a few things then order again all from our table kiosk, but also that Pedro was there every step of the way. Our favorite was the steak Costras!! A must order!! Stand out best food I have ever ate and not just from a Mexican restaurant. Our second was the taco de Castillo and of course do not forget the fresh made guacamole!!My son had the burrito and loved it too! I mean I may dream of this eating this food again tonight. It was that amazing and so flavorful! Great food, service and beautiful atmosphere. And their gigantic big screen to watch sports was so cool! My kids loved it!

Tacology was very busy when we get there friday night. We were waiting for a table by the bar like 20 min. Nice vibe. Good food. Tablet on the tables for placing orders... Amazing guava cheesecake!

We ate there recently and the service was horrible. They have a tablet menu to order from and it is confusing and time-consuming. Too much trouble. The server never returned but 18% service charge was added to the bill. The food was very expensive but was decent. The atmosphere was nice Will not eat here again. Do not recommend.

We had dinner here, and we were more than 20 persons... the service was excellent, but the food was even better... 100% recommended.

A bunch of friends were hanging out in Brickell and decided to try this place. The tacos are authentic and one of the best I’ve had in Miami. The drinks are also very good and strong. Definitely will go back every time I’m in the mood and I’m Brickell.

The little bit of food we got was good in taste, but these are tapas and not full dishes. I had to pay $164 for an unreasonable 2 bites per person. Staff is grumpy, uninterested and does nothing, because you order by tablet. The 20% tip is then included in the receipt. I understand that you are not allowed to choose your tip yourself, because you pay less than 5% for this service In short, avoid. Plenty of good restaurants nearby for more normal prices.

Excellent ambience and fresh food at this awesome place. We sampled a bunch of items and were very happy with all of them. The mushroom taco in a blue corn tortilla is a must try along with the house guacamole.. the beet toastada with kale, goat cheese and guacamole is super fresh, taco with pan seared quest fresco, avocado and roasted pumpkin seeds garnished with radish slice and cilantro is very good as well. Don’t forget to try the house made fresh juices .. we ended up with the fresh beet juice and the horchata On the pricey side but fresh flavorful food ..

This spot is great for a night out with great vibes and super fast food service. Will definitely come again with friends for a pregame.

Very pretty trendy restaurant on the fourth floor of Brickell Center. We sat outdoors but inside were different colorful stations. There was a Margarita Station, cerviche , taco, & desserts. There were many bar stools for solo diners & groups. Our waitress was on point, however the iPads & payment were both slow & confusing. We started with beef nachos They were soggy chips swimming in Velveeta cheese. There was a sprinkle of corn, beans, avocado & beef. The lobster tacos were the same cheese & sprinkles with a small lobster on each. For dessert we shared the guava cheesecake the signature dessert. It was dry & not inspiring. Lunch wasn’t too exciting.

Good service, although the 2 hour average of usage per table, was not ok when someone asked us to leave (we were a 14 people table, having drinks and food). I can understand these threshold, but taken into account how many were we and that we were drinking and eating, it was not ok to to ask us. After they saw we were not happy, a new table was offered, but we preferred to leave. Food and Drinks: they were really good although dish sizes were a little small.

I thought it was expensive for what you get. Ambiance is great though, place is nice. They have tablets so ordering process is dynamic

Drinks here are great! Very creative. The service is a hit or miss. The food is okay but very, very small portions. I recommend this place for drinks during happy hour.

This was one of the worse restaurants I have ever been to. There is only one menu given to the table - and it is on a tablet. No one tries to help you decipher the items. The food was terrible. We ordered guacamole and they gave us one bowl with about 12 chips for 3 people. I had a chicken flautus, some kind of beef and cheese dish on a taco and my spouse had the shrimp nachos. Everything was terrrible. I would never eat there again.

This place is amazing! The food, the people, music and the place are totally nice. My friend and I had shrimp tacos and the chilaquiles. I really LOVED the shrimp tacos!! The chilaquiles were like “meh” but still good.

Great relaximg atmosphere with great margaritas, chips and tacos. The Birria tacos were my favorite among the pastor and steak options. There are great plates to dig in or small plates to satsfy your hunger needs. Margs were flavorful. Staff was attentive.

We went to Tacology for a tasty, pleasant, and comfortable lunch. It’s in the Brickell City Centre up on the 4th floor. It was very comfortable at an outside table. The tablet menu was informative and handy. Benny, our server, was great - very attentive, friendly, and informative as well. We ordered 3 dishes, all to share between 2 of us. The melted cheese w/mushrooms, the octopus tacos, and I don’t remember the name of the 3rd were all very good and tasty. So overall a great experience and good value for the price.

First time visit. Excellent birra tacos and the Mexican nachos were amazing! Valentia or waitress was also super attentive and helpful.

Walter is amazing! We had a live mariachi band perform for us. So fun!!!! Berry margarita is amazing. Happy hour is so fun!

What a rip off. Not only very average tacos and food but the price was ridiculous. Service was friendly and good, in the best shopping center of Brickell

The food was excellent and the decor is wonderful. I would give it five stars but I wasn't a fan of their ordering system, which is all done on tablets. Great concept, but complicated and time consuming. There was no paper menu which made viewing the options difficult, especially for a party of 5.

Friends and I had a one night stay in Miami before continuing our travels. I brought them to this restaurant as I have eaten here before in the past. Can I just say that I STILL love their fresh guacamole. The drinks are good as well. I did not order too much as it was late and I was tired.

We tested the quesadillas and burritos, it was very good, and in sufficient quantity. All for a decent price (for Miami). To try without hesitation.

Was served by Rommel, first time visiting and he explained how to use the ordering system. He was more than accommodating when we wanted some chips on side. Mum wasn’t able to eat the guacamole as it was too spicy for her and he removed it from the check without us even asking! Great first experience at Tacology and Rommel gave a fantastic service

Since we sat and the waitress came instead of even say Hi, she gave us a bad and rude attitude with no reason. We didn’t know in this restaurant you have to order on an iPad and when we asked her to bring extra menus, she looked at us disgusted and annoyed (we thought maybe she is having a bad day and it will get better). We were 4 and just wanted an extra menu so everyone could be able to see what food we wanted to order. We were wondering what was going on and she basically said : you order everything at once from one iPad, is one for table, asked if we knew what we wanted to drink right away without us even looking at the drink menu because of course we only had one and then without saying anything she took off, we managed our way and following her orders to put one whole order at the same time we ordered and all the food came at the same time, so suddenly we didn’t have space for even a fork on the table, the food kept coming nonstop and there was this short Latino guy (bus boy/runner with a cap flipped backwards) that came with two plates and tried to put it in a very small corner on the table, there was obviously no more space so I asked him to please either take it back and bring get later or to place it in the empty table next to us, he kept pushing the plate and we all knew the plate couldn’t fit and was about to fall so I grabbed it and placed it on the other table, he got so mad and overreacted so aggressively, he started talking to me using an offensive and threatening slur that really made me feel he was about to punch me, one of my friends realized that this guy was crossing the line, stood up and asked him to please stop his madness, this runner boy was honestly about to start a fight with no reason. Finally, the manager came, tried to make it work but at this point a nice friendly dinner turned into a nightmare by the waitress and the buzz. People like these should not be working in a restaurant where you have to be friendly and accommodating to your clients that by the way are paying not a cheap Taco meal. We really think situations need to be somehow detected, addressed and properly handled by managers, specially that guy looks pretty dangerous, hope they can do something but we are definitely NOT recommending or coming back to this place. And by the way they even included 18% Tip on our bill. Is this how a restaurant manager deals with a situation like the one we had? Seriously? Very disappointed and will NEVER recommend anyone to go to this place.

An interesting menu with lost of options, many drinks and plates to choose. The hostess is very attentive and the waiter too.

the place is modern. both in its environment, cuisine and Mexican menu. It is semi self service through the restaurant app, I think they still have to improve the service I had to wait 15 minutes for a side order of guacamole. But overall it’s a nice experience

I stopped there 7/6/19. This place needs to close. First they give you the small I pad to order from I was more than just me a the table. The sever did a poor job on how to use the menu. After figuring it out we ordered. The steak taco was dry. The sever never came back to ask how are food was. I requested the manager her skills was just as poor as the staff. This place is a real waste of time. Table 18/1 check 1381 sever 152

Food is good and creative but it comes in tiny portions. You do not have a meal but appetizers. Prices are very high and 18% is added automatically to the bill without notice, so you can be mislead to double tip.

First time here and will be returning . It’s location is great at brickell city center. Has in and out seating, very colorful and hip restaurant. You get tablet instead of paper menú and you order at your own pace . Very well illustrated dishes and drinks. Pretty simple process. We had steak & chicken tacos 🌮 in avocado 🥑 sauce very yummy. Ordered them twice between my husband was still a bit hungry. Also had red snapper cebiche & chips with guacamole. All delicious and the lemonade was wonderful.

I ordered the burritos and it was amazing. I really recommend this to all the people. It was amazing it was delicious and not so expensive. My friend ordered the fajitas and it also tasted so good! I must to visit!

Horrible concept of ordering overshadows any redeeming quality of the food. No physical menus so everything is on an iPad ...but if you want to see tacos, you don’t even get to glance at all the tacos at once You have to select meat and look at those, then seafood and look at those, then vegetarian...wait you don’t want a taco? Then back out and look at other items. In a group it is ridiculous as person after person has to look through the entire menu on the iPad to decide what to order, then pass it on. We were several in a group and it was pressure to review and order and pass on. We have been there before when they also had physical menus but those are now gone...and so are we. All 8 of us ...from our 20s to our 50s, agreed this was the last time. We previously accepted the high prices for the small portions but the lack of physical menus and sticking by their line that it is their “concept” made it our “concept” to look elsewhere next time.

My wife and I have been to Tacology several times. We generally enjoy the food and the service is usually pretty good. I always felt that it’s a bit expensive though. Then I noticed this last visit that there is an 18% service charge added to the bill. We asked the server about it and were told it’s basically a tip for everyone who isn’t your server but participated in the experience. So I have been double tipping every time I have been there. If you want to add the tip then label it as such. Not happy about the deceptive service charge.

I felt like I got dropped in Tokyo - orders handled through an iPad not a waiter... which was nice because waiters are slow, forgetful, and always write my order down wrong! I wish you could add customizations to your orders though (eg: "add cotija cheese to my taco") I happened to come in on a day when their bar was closed - inexplicably - which as a solo business traveler was annoying cause sitting at a table on your own sucks. Especially when the seating is in outdoor Miami summer heat. Fortunately the wait staff is great and kept me well hydrated! Came in during happy hour which let me try a few different tacos on the cheap, and $6 margaritas are hard to beat. The chorizo queso fundido was great too. Chilaquiles were delicious though they portion size was a bit bananas - would rather pay a few bucks less for half the portion. Could have fed a football team with that order. Overall totally recommended whether youre shopping in the City Centre mall or just looking for a great spot downtown for tacos and margs.

We ate at Tacology while visiting Miami. We did not experience the friendly customer service while waiting to be seated. However, the person who took our food order was friendly. We used the tablet to order food. The Tacos tasted good, however, the prices were exhorbitant for the quantity we were served. Overall, we weren't satisfied with our experience There was also a 18% service charge added to the bill!

We loved Tacoloy so much we went twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is amazing and so are the drinks. Service staff are friendly and welcoming. Make sure you try the alcoholic sorbets - pineapple margarita is delicious.

Great food but everybody except the host was not wearing face mask and miami is full with covid All the waitresses where huging and talkink with each other without face coverings I think with everything that is going on they should put more attention to this

Very disappointment that this place ran my card fro almost $80 for a service fee and a tip!??? i would not recommend this place at all to anyone. They added a tip after the fact. this is unlawful and i will be reporting this, i am just letting you know what to look for. Also the food isn't that good...my opinion of course. crappy service.

Pleasantly surprising excellent tacos with cool presentation. The fried pig skin is interesting and unusual presentation. Decent margaritas and good service. Totally bi linguel

Nachos were good and cheesy. The lobster tacos could have been better. The tablet menu was confusing and the waitress had to assist us which defeated the purpose of the tablet. Their guava cheesecake was about average or slightly less. I have had much better. Also note for your reference that an 18% service charge is included in the bill.

This restaurant has great food, decent-sized menu, and some of the best chilaquiles outside of Mexico. (large serving too) The service has always been really friendly. The only suggestion I could give is that you can't really just order chips and salsa, especially since all ordering is done on the ipad. You can get queso, but it doesn't come with chips. (We asked the waiter and got some). Or you can order guacamole and that will come with chips. A bit better breakdown of those type of options would be appreciated. Can't wait to go back again when I'm in town!

A very good place for tacos. I will say I was little bit annoyed with the 30 min wait to get seated. However the tacos were amazing. This place was by far the best taco shop in town. I ended ordering Birra Tacos and there were so good. The sauce was amazing and even though the tacos were small it so good. The staff was polite and over all the experience was great. Staff= 10/10 Wait time= 7/10 Food= 13/10 Price= 9/10

we seat at the bar and we got excelent service and the food the we ordered in rounds was just well prepared and also very tasteful. I loved the squid since is my preference in a lot of place that offer it. So go without any hesitation. The decoration is beautiful and good music as well.

My best friend and I came to Tacology around lunch time and we found that the service was great. It is an interesting set up because you order everything off of an iPad at your table. My friend wanted to customize one of their drinks with Vodka instead of Mezcla and the waiter was more than happy to make that customization. We order the Queso Fundido and it was delicious, but we would have preferred that it be served with chips instead of tortillas. We also ordered the Chicken Tacos al Pastor and it was amazing! I never would have thought that pineapples on my tacos would be something that I would like but I loved it. I highly recommend for you to come and check them out. I am going to be bringing my husband once we move back to Miami.

Tacology is the best Mexican restaurant to eat some good, I’m talking about delicious delightful carnitas! Love the queso fundido as well. And the drinks looks amazing not just beautiful is also very very yummy 😍🫶 And then Walter was a great, he recommended this one dessert flan 🍮 omg heaven Heaven that place is heaven for anyone with a picky taste!

2 tacos is like nothing because they are sample tacos so at the end you can pay $32 or $ 48 it depends on how hungry you are. I am Mexican and that was the most ridiculous portions I had ever had. The margarita small and full of ice. My suggestion is serve at least 3 tacos because it is hard to appreciate the taste with only 4 bites

Starting with parking situation, over 30 minutes to find a spot! Finally we arrived at the restaurant, nice decor, friendly staff. Food presentation was great, BUT, they brought us the main dishes before the appetizers. So we all got our food ass ordered. But, it was kind of a “sample size”. And for the price, it was ridiculous. But, tasted good.

Had lunch right when the restaurant opened and there was no wait, yet employees were ready to serve. Our server, Benny was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu selection, including customizing our Margarita. We had the Guac and Chips, La Gringa Tacos, Ribeye Tacos and Asada Steak Tacos. Every dish was delicious! We can’t wait to come back with the kids.

The worst taco in the US. The meat was tasting like soap. The Taco was with no taste and do not worth 16 bucks. It is a false Mexican Food.

The worst music!!! It looks like we are in a Hell Concert. So bad acoustic We are supposed to have a nice lunch. Far from trendy and nice to enjoy…

This restaurant is very well located in the shopping center. On the other hand, it is way too expensive for what it is. We got for around ten dollars 2 poor little tacos which fought a duel on a plate, and which were not succulent at all. The quantities and the quality/price ratio should definitely be reviewed!

Love it. Food is great. Love the quinoa and shrimp tacos and the chicken alambre tacos are really good too. Food comes quick and servers are there to help with your order. Very good atmosphere as well.

Terrible experience. Terrible service with no services we had to wait 30minutes to order and then another hour to get the food which was decent at most. On top of the terrible service they automatically charged 20% tips. Would not recommend

My husband and I spent the evening in Miami after our cruise. We were looking for a place to have dinner and found Tacology wasn’t a far walk from our hotel. It is located inside of an outdoor mall on what I believe was the top level. We were seated in their outdoor seating fairly quickly. Their menu is located on an iPad/tablet that is shared for the whole table. So, you cannot look at the menu simultaneously. The server was friendly, and took time to tell us his favorite dishes. All of which I believe were seafood, and being from the Midwest my husband nor myself eats seafood. We took a bit and looked through the menu, as I was looking for the vegetarian options. Although I am not vegetarian I tend to eat mostly vegetarian. After a bit the server came back and asked if we had ordered through the iPad yet, and my husband told him no because I was looking for the vegetarian options. He said they didn’t have any vegetarian options, but he could order rice, beans, and tortillas as a side and I could make my own tacos. So I just said sure so I could eat something at the restaurant with my husband. They brought out a bowl of rice, black beans, and 3 tortillas the size of the palm of my 6 year olds hand. I had to assemble my own tiny rice and black bean tacos, that didn’t have much flavor at all. Oh, and I can’t forget that 1 bottle of pop with no refills was 5 dollars alone. They also charge you a “service fee” to I don’t know deliver your food? To be honest it was like paying for the most expensive Kid Cuisine meal you could ever eat. We could’ve went back home, got our kids from grandma and grandpa, fed our entire family of 4 at a legit Mexican restaurant, went mini-golfing, and took everyone for ice cream for that price.

Very nice looking, very stylish place with ipad menus to tap. We tapped in our orders and spoke to a waitress who told us she had no control over when anything came out as it came from different kitchens. We waited 10 minutes for the first starter, the next came 20 minutes later! That is ridiculous. Everything else came more quickly but at no time did my partner and I have food in front of us to eat at the same time. Prices were sky high for the quality. It was one of the few times I felt like not tipping (we did though) as there was no service. In Miami it seems that a lot of places employ staff whose looks fit the image of the place and not because they will actually be good at their jobs. I've also been for happy hour drinks a few times, sitting in the comfortable chairs around coffee tables, that is a different experience and much nicer than dinner. I'd never go there for dinner again.

The space is very modern, with a chef in each corner preparing a specific type of food or dessert.  There’s a huge multiscreen tv covering the back wall which was playing music videos the night we were there. However, the music was loud which made casual conversation difficult.   The service concept is virtual, using an iPad which displays the entire menu including options to customize some of the dishes and drinks based on your preferences.  At the beginning, our server brought us some water and a couple tiny samples of sauces but otherwise we never saw him, not even to explain how to use the iPad.  And there’s no interaction with any of the other staff except to bring your drinks and dishes from the kitchen.  Getting the check was also a challenge since we could never find our server.  And curiously, you have to give your credit card to staff and cannot pay your check using the same iPad.   As for the food and drink, it was very pricy and nothing special.  This is not your corner Mexican restaurant.  The classic margarita was served in big glasses but loaded with so much ice that they quickly got watered down and they were the cheapest, costing $14.  All the other margaritas on the menu cost more and as much as $20+.  The food was alright but it too was pricy and the portions were small; we had 2 tiny tacos for $12.   On top of the high prices there is an automatic service charge of 18% added to your bill, no matter the size of the table and despite the lack of actual service provided during the meal.   Overall, it was an interesting experience but you can find better food, service and get more value for your money elsewhere.   Note: outside seating is also available but it’s very popular and you’ll have to wait quite a while to get a seat.

Had a very good meal at Tacology with my wife. It’s in a good spot at Brickell City Center with indoor and outdoor seating - good overall vibe. You must order by tablet at your table which is very easy to navigate - and to customise your order. The waiter recc’d the lobster tacos which were very good. The snapper ceviche was even better. The lettuce tacos - which we had with shrimp - were an innovative take on the traditional. The marguerita comes in a variety of flavours. I had the classic which was very tasty and large portion. The only disappointing thing we had was the elote (corn on cob). Not as tasty as I’ve had before. Overall a very good experience in a nice setting. Not cheap but well worth it.

I found this place through Instagram and am so happy I did! The atmosphere is a dream. They present their food so creatively and everything we ate was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the guac trio and shrimp nachos. Drinks were amazing as well. You order everything via a tablet - so technology forward and cute. I can’t say enough great things about Tacology.

Had lunch with my wife, the atmosphere was upbeat, lively and friendly. Manuel was my server and was very helpful, he was knowledgeable and very attentive. Elote as starter was delicious, food was served quickly. We shared flautas, ceviche trio and shrimp tacos and everything was delicious!

Unique and refreshing place. Great signature cocktails. I lowed mine that came in an light bulb. Very original! Ordering system is also fast and great. Service was on point. Location of the place is very good. Definitely recommending it.

This is one of the most authentic Mexican food place you will find in the USA. One good test is if you order Cochinita tacos (or a dish) and it’s true to its origins in the South of Mexico. And Tacology offers as good a Cochinita taco as any we’ve had in Mexico. They also offer many other options. We typically order chicharrón de queso (cheese crust), guacamole, and don’t forget to order margaritas. I typically order Mezcal margaritas. Last time in June 2023, I had some birria tacos that were awesome too. Service is quick & the menu is very extensive. But like most/all restaurants in Miami, they include a tip (typically 18%) already in your bill. Check it carefully in case you want to give more or not any more. Highly recommend going as we do every time we are in Miami.

Went during staycation exploring Brickell City Center- the ordering process was different- you use an iPad- so it made it very convenient. Our server (Rich?) was very helpful in chose a delicious tequila for me. Not sure I liked the fried octopus taco.

The food is quite good for this type of restaurant (we had a salad wrap and a guacamole) but it's super noisy. We were happy to leave. Too much dressing on the salad wrap No beer on tap.

Tacology is a great venue for delicious Mexican food and drinks. The Mexican-inspired interiors of the venue looks stunning. Tacology’s menu features a wide range of dishes and we loved everything that we ordered. The service was excellent. The pricing is on higher side and quantity is small.

Service is so poor. I got extremely disappointed because I had high expectations about this place. The waters are rude and they don't have any intention to explain their "fancy menu" on tablets. Please don't waste your time and money by going to this overrated taco place.

The place is really gorgeous. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and tasty. They have an innovative-easy way of ordering the food through a tablet, which come really fast to your table. There are a plentiful amount of appetizers, tostadas, tacos, and ceviches to choose from, categorized by the type of protein you would like in them. You can definitely return here quite a few times and still have new dishes to try. The combination of flavors and textures is phenomenal! The shrimp tacos are a must try.

Came here with my family to celebrate my husband's birthday. Nice service, music and decoration. Not sure if this place cooks authentic mexican cuisine. I had tried authentic mexican restaurants in Miami with a not so touristic tex-mex cuisine. Small portions for the price, even though they say that are big for sharing. 1 veggie small tostada $10.This place is touristic. Nice place to enjoy a margarita for $16 or a draft beer for $8 and guacamole with chips $13. I expected to try an authentic mexican dish, but my experience was not so certain.

I've reviewed this restaurant on April 22, 2018. The food is good, but I'm not happy paying an added 18% service charge to our bill without being warned or told. Adding an addition 18% service charge is what "tourist traps" do in Miami to take advantage of unsuspecting patrons. Be aware!

Attentive bartender made the best margarita in all of Miami. Beautiful new bar and restaurant in new Brickell Center. We were there during happy hour so best drinks were cheaper than usual. I wish we could have stayed to try the food but next time!

The service and tacos are good. You can place the order using a tablet or with the waiter. The tacos are quite small and expensive. A taco that only had a little meat was US$12 and one with shrimp US$20 (they come with 2 mini tacos that are not enough for one meal). The place is good, but due to our limited budget, we were left hungry.

Food is tasty service is fantastic. But is over pricing I love the presentation of the food the chicharrón andan the drinks very well done .

Sat at the bar and enjoyed a Pina Colada while eating two different tacos and the guacamole tasting. I was left underwhelmed at the end. The Pina most likely did not have alcohol, the tacos were each two mouthfuls but worst of all was the tasting of guacamole. 3 pots of the same guacamole but one with tomatoes and bits, one natural and one with another topping. Really felt cheated. The bill was close to $60 and I was still hungry. Not worth it!!!

This may not be "authentic mexican"... but it's a great restaurant! Food is really good and comes our fast, service is always nice and attentive, and atmosphere is always very lively and fun. My favorite: The octopus taco.

I came here with my family, including children. The large screen on the wall was broadcasting inappropriate and offensive music videos. Setting aside the music itself, the visuals portrayed women in extremely revealing clothing, provocative dancing, drag performers, and imagery that is not suitable for a family environment. There is so much rich Hispanic culture and high-quality content that could be shared instead. Unfortunately, whoever curates the videos shows very poor judgment and taste. Because of this, I will not be returning. Washroom is not neat looking.

The place has nice decor, the food was average. The concrete floors and the high ceilings create a really loud atmosphere, but some people like that. The place was packed at 8:00 pm, but they move people really fast. The only thing I really disliked was the digital menu. One iPad per table. There were 6 of us and it took us for ever to pass the iPad to each other. Once you get the hang of it and finally place an order, the food arrives quickly, since every person has to order from one individual source the food does not arrive at the same time. The first one that got the iPad and ordered is the first one to get his/her food.

We usually are disappointed eating tacos outside of Mexico. Tacology did not disappoint! Service was fast, food was incredibly savory and delicious. The “tacos al pastor” are still far from the real thing but everything else on the menu is as good as it gets. From the corn on the cob, the chicharrón de queso, the carnitas to the super delicious drinks, everything was fabulous! The setting is excellent, more modern. We loved it and will be back. The candy bar on top of the mangorita was an amazing touch! Well done tacology!

The guacamole tasting is the same guacamole sprinkled with different toppings. No taste. La costra, a taco with crispy cheese and skirt steak was very oily (it dripped on my jeans) and not enjoyable at all. The tablet to order is confusing. Service was ok. The only good thing is the giant charger you get at your table if you ask for a smartphone charger . Not recommended.

They had two dishes at the door and after we sat down they said they didn't serve in the restaurant anymore. Shouldn't have on the board then, right? Extremely fat bullshit and totally unprepared attendants.

We stopped here for a lunch and opted for $20 lunch menu. Expected small portions but you get a full plate for better price - its a good deal. The only thing is you cant modify anything ( add or remove ingredient) We started with Esquites ( sweet corn - ate it for the first time and it was very tasty) and Chicken Soup - was great. For main we took Burrito Bowl and Tacos both Pastor - it was delicious. Followed by Churros and Flan - amazing. Atmosphere in this place was great. Service by Victoria was 10/10 Amazing. ( there was one more girl (with tattoos) that brought is plates - she had attitude and no smile as we followed her interact with other customers. We would recommend and visit this place again.

We came for lunch, it was expensive ($11 for chips and dip????) but the margaritas were great. Decided to return the next day. Oh what a mistake that was. We were greeted by the rudest door girls I have ever met. We were told to wait for 5 minutes for our table outside. We then saw the table being cleared up and someone else take our table! When I went up and asked how long it would be they “couldn’t tell me” when I queried why our table had been given away they just stared at us and laughed!!!!! Honestly this is a mediocre restaurant that sides not warrant such a stuck up attitude. We went to the centrale market restaurant where they make pizzas in front of you - 5 star and much better value. Go there instead.

This was our first time here and we were not disappointed! For a Mexican restaurant some people might find it a little pricey but I think it’s worth it. The food as well as the service and ambiance were great. We ordered queso fundido (loved it), ceviche tasting (loved it too - different types of ceviche), la costra and la gringa taco and of course we had to also have guacamole and chips. Their margaritas were great too. We all loved this place.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our shuttle driver that took us to our hotel. We were staying at the Fortune House and wanted something we could walk to. Tacology is located in the Brickell City Center, which is a mall a couple of blocks from the hotel. Our room wasn’t ready and we had a few hours to kill so we were up for an adventure. The restaurant had not opened yet when we got there, so we sat at the comfortable chairs just outside the restaurant. It is very colorful and whimsical and has a visually fun atmosphere. We were quickly ushered to our table once they opened, and shown how to order on the tablet that is provided at each table. I thought that was a neat idea and it was easy to use also. The drinks and food were both quick to arrive. A+ for presentation and A++ for the drinks! I had a mojito and my sister had the rum punch. Both were excellent and they did not skimp on the alcohol either, but they didn’t taste overly strong, the flavor was still wonderful. We were good with just one, if you know what I mean. The food was good too, we had the shrimp and the chicken tacos, which we shared. They were served in shot glasses with the sauce at the bottom. To die for!! We rounded it off with the ice cream sandwich cookies which we shared also. Yummy! We were glad we stopped here. The service was good, the food was great and the drinks were amazing!! Check it out if you are in the Brickell area, you won’t be disappointed.

Terrible service!!!! they delivered half of my order, I spoke to the manager Christian on the phone who promised to send me the food missing from the order instead of giving me a refund. An hour later I called to check on the food and find out Christian never pass the message to anybody NO FOOD, NO REFUND!!!

The service was excellent. Victor was polite, professional, and attentive. The drinks were also very good. However, the food was HORRENDOUS. The quality, presentation, and taste left a lot to be desired. And the price for the experience was outrages. All in all this is a place that will never be patronized again. =(

Stumbled on this place and decided to give it a try. First, our server Rich was spectacular. Super friendly and great service. Food was wonderful, great guacamole and chips. Flavors wonderful. Interesting concept of different “display kitchens” that prepare different sections of the menu. I agree with other reviews that the portions we a bit small for the price, but the quality was there. Easy order from tablet or with the server.

My husband and I ate here for the first time while stayed at a Brickell hotel, and we found their tacos to be the best! Pictures do not do their menu any justice. With this in mind, I found myself trying different foods on their menu and ended up order the same of everything twice. The fish tacos and cheese taco dip is better than I’ve ever imagine.

This is the second time I have visited this place and I still have good satisfaction. The service and attention of the waiters is very good, always attentive that we receive a good service. The food was good and with good portion. It's still a place I'll visit whenever I'm in the area. Good value for money - service - quality to be in a luxury shopping mall and Downtown Miami (Brickell). Recommended!!

Terrible experience, first Mexican restaurant where they give you spicy sauces without the nachos, you have to pay for them and they give you a miniature portion for 5usd. All the main dishes are very expensive (20 to 30 usd) considering that they really look like apetizers. And to close, we left with a stomach ache. I really don't recommend it and would never go back.

Trendy, cool space at the top of Brickell City Center. Great prices and great food. Get the Chorizo Queso (Fundido?) ... It's to die for, especially with the green and red salsa samplers they bring to your table. Order the Carnitas or the Chicken Tacos with special pricing on Tuesday (but you need to ask for it!). We go almost every week, a short walk from Downtown Miami.

Daniel was an amazing server. He took the time to make recommendations and even after I had selected an item to order he helped me modify it to make it even better. Over all we had a great experience.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience here was disappointing from start to finish. We were greeted at the entrance — so far, so good. But right after being seated, we asked for water and were given cups with no ice, which felt a bit off for the setting. The ordering process was through an iPad, which isn’t exactly what you expect when dining out, especially in a place like Brickell City Centre. The total came to $146.58 for a family of four — and the tip was already included in the ticket before we even received our food. As for the food: the taco portion sizes were decent, but the flavor was extremely underwhelming. I’ve had better-tasting tacos from food trucks for a fraction of the price. Service-wise, the experience was disorganized. Since the order was placed through the app, the waitress had no idea who ordered what, and the food didn’t arrive together. Our table had to sit and wait as the meals came out one by one in four separate trips — and my son, who ordered just a burrito, was served last. I was also told the sauces were spicy — but they barely had any kick or flavor. Once again, I’ve had far better sauces at much more modest restaurants. For a location in Brickell City Centre, the bar is set high, but this was honestly a horrendous dining experience. I value good service and genuine connection with staff, especially when I’m expected to pay a tip — but there was little to none of that here. It makes sense why the tip is automatically added to the bill before the meal even starts. On top of that, you’re required to pay via the iPad before any service begins, which only adds to the feeling of being rushed and disconnected. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on our visit.

If you happen to go to the movies or just go for a little shooting at Brickell City Center you have to eat at this restaurant. Is not only pretty and cozy but the food is delicious. I've been three times already and every time I go I try something different and everything I'va had so far is very good. Great for groups and for happy hour!

As with many venues around here at start they are good, then quality and service start declining. Tacology came with an automated menu on a digital tablet, you can order all you want from there, genius, you can see pictures of the food or drinks you are ordering. Once order is placed food comes out pretty fast, that has not changed. However service has declined. Last 2 times here we were seated in tables either dirty or balancing due to unleveled bases, before the waiter would bring the fresh salsas on a nice wooden mini crate. On my last visit, dirty table, balancing table which the waiter could not fix, no salsas at all, we asked for the salsas 3 times to 3 different waiters, we ordered ceviche and it is served without chips or crackers, food quality has declined as well, asked for the alambre and the meat was swimming in Worchester sauce or something, very salty, tortillas were hard and cold. Price is steep so it was expected above average service and food

Amazing spot for tacos and good drinks! Jesus was super helpful in everything, from picking drinks to the food. Was on top of everything and made sure we were happy with the food and service! Definitely 10/10 recommend.

Tacology is right in the middle of Brickell City Center. We found it by a chance and asked for a table for three and they kindly sit us. You order via a tablet and food comes out really fast. We ordered some guacamole, very good, some shrimp nachos, so good but they used a cheese sauce instead of real grated cheese which was a turn down, some carnitas tacos, very good and some octopus tacos also, very good. We had margaritas to drink and they were ok. Best part was dessert, a guava cheesecake that didn’t look like the best cheesecake but it sure was delicious. Totally recommend Tacology for a trendy night out.

The food is good but SO overpriced! $10 for a chicharron de queso?! What?! And their service is as awful as can get. I was served my tacos, and had to wait 10 minutes to get salsa and limes. The dirty dishes were never removed from my table. Thirty minutes later I was handed the check, where they were charging me for my drink and dessert except I hadn’t been served either. An overall bad experience and to top it off they have a fixed 18% service fee. I definitely won’t be coming back.

We love Tacology but we ordered through Grubhub and the order wasn’t totally correct. Luckily what they missed was basic (enough tortillas) and we have those at our home inventory. That saved us as we were able to prepare our tacos with our own tortillas. They sent two and they were supposed to send at least six. We do like the quality of the food so much at Tacology that we’re ordering again through Grubhub to see if that was abnormal. We hope so because we won’t be happy if we have to provide our own ingredients.

Excellent Tacos place, good food. The environment is really fancy and once you pass by, you just want to stop by and try it. Very recommended for a nice lunch or dinner. Good quality of food, above all the tacos ( fish tacos my fave ). Lovely selection of fresh juices and healthy food. Suggestion: Guacamole is simply amazing ! The orders are taken from a meal ordering device which makes your life easier. Very kind restaurant staff.

Tacology is great for families, casual dinning & outdoor seating with an I~Pad at your table for ordering. What makes this great is you just push the button and get what you want in minutes! Drinks were tasty and service is quick to deliver. The tip is built in to the bill at 18.5% gratuity. I liked it & would go back!

Tacology at Brickell City Centre in Miami is a cool spot for all things tacos and drinks. The food here is delicious, flavorful, and well prepared and the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is laid back and relaxed. I liked everything that I have tried on the menu and look forward to being able to taste some more. This place is well worth a visit for good tacos.

First time here and we will definitely be back. The food is real Mexican, not Mexican-America and it’s delicious. We really liked the ordering system because you can order when you want it and if you want more, just order it. Our server, Gabby, was really good as explaining how it works and she was a great server. And the flan for desert is the best I’ve ever had!

Tacology is DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is very light and inviting. There is indoor and outdoor seating and we sat outside. It is a part of Brickell City Centre which is a super swanky upscale mall. I would definitely recommend checking out their drink specials and the flautas are perfect!!

Horrible service here, our waiter was rude and was barely assisting us during our meal. Servings are small and would not recommend.

We went with family during happy hour, it was extremely chaotic (I think that’s the point) and the ordering system took a few minutes to get the hang of (on iPads, but have to use your server during happy hour) but the al pastor tacos and the lingua were prepared perfectly and the margaritas were excellent. During happy hour we had a few of the classic margaritas and on another day a coconut one that I’m still attempting to recreate at home. It’s easy to rack up a big bill quickly, but was worth it. Always get the Guacamole.

Went there for happy hour which granted has a time frame but by 7:05pm and without a warning we weren’t able to order more drinks or food. Our server just said “happy hour is done” when we tried to order. I wish he had given us a heads up a few minutes before it was finished and we could’ve all ordered another round! We felt a bit cheated. Ordering through the tablet is cool but waiters don’t take the time to explain it either. Be careful NOT to order any happy hour items on the tablet or you’ll be charged full price. Seriously. Service is very slow and overall just lousy yet you are expected to give 18% tip and then some! The 18% is included but they ask for more. Not cool. The tacos are very good in general but not all of them. If I had to pay full price for them, I wouldn’t. I’m glad we paid happy hour prices. Queso fundido was excellent.

Awesome place, new concept very innovative, but awful service, very slow and confusing, one tablet (menu) for a table of 10 did not expedited this at all, the tacos need more flavor, under cook corn tortillas and no salsas options for a taco place is very disappointing

Nice ambient, good guacamole and lots of tacos. We came here with a group of four and got a table without making a reservation upfront. Ordering is done via a tablet at the table. Quite fancy. Menu is pictures and always up to date. We enjoyed both the food and the experience!

If you want to try a different dining experience this is a great place to visit... You order your food via the Tablet on the table, but don’t worry the staff are so helpful and explain and advise on the food..The Food is pretty incredible here very tasty, recommend the Chicken Pastor & Alambre, simply delicious great for sharing, we started with guacamole & chips & Queso Fundido (baked cheese) this was too much for us, but still very tasty ... it’s not the cheapest of eats our bill came to $95.76 that included 4 drinks, but it was good food.
