Fantastic! Full gluten free menu (not beer). Asada and crispy zucchini tacos were amazing. Great salsa. A little busy for Saturday lunch, but service was polite and quick.

Great Mexican place in Portland. 100% gluten free and great food. Tbh the hot sauce was barely close to anything spicy but the food in general ways great. 100% recommend!!

I’ve noticed this place as very busy with people inside and outside. Had dinner here recently and I was very impressed - fresh ingredients good service and large portions. I saved my rice bowl leftovers for the next night and it even tasted better when the juices and oil had soaked the food. Yum!

Cute joint in a great area. The tacos we had were so good and the limeade was perfect. We had the carne asada, chicken tinga, and ground beef tacos. All of them are delicious but we really liked the chicken & steak much more. I would absolutely return if we make it back to the area.

I gave it three shots. All three were at different times of the day and days of the week. All three were the same experience: —disinterested surly waitstaff —long wait for service and then for food that was cold —unimpressive carnitas, mole, or just about anything. The tortillas break and there isn't the usual second to catch—so get ready to finish eating with your hands. For a place that ONLY serves tacos... they did a millennial google search, got recipes off Fiver, and hired their friends. Great if you have never been in real tacorias... but not so good in a neighborhood with strong competition. And why do people think a few wood tables will suck up the barn sound box of a concrete floor and hard walls and ceiling?

Wow. Great service. Excellent, fresh, quality food. Great beer selection and tasty cocktails. The only down side to this place is the noise level. If it's crowded, it's very LOUD. I would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Excellent place ... well recommended by family! The taco options are incredible ... something for everyone ... and reasonably priced for those with large groups. There was plenty of seating, and the place (more or less) is following practices to avoid excessive garbage ... very much appreciated. The staff was friendly, but they did not necessarily walk around and talk to anyone. Nonetheless, the young lady that took our order was very nice and answered our questions professionally ... giving us some guidance on her favorite dishes, etc. If we ever travel back to Portland, Tacovore is a MUST for our future lunches.

We came to Tacocore in Portland for dinner and loved everything about this place. Fresh ingredients. Delicious tacos and the margaritas were absolutely delightful! The staff were all really kind and treated us like we were the only customers there. We can’t wait to go back! Thank Hoi for opening in Portland! A true Hem of a place!

Went for lunch; ordered a big kale salad to share (big enough for two) and a pair of tacos--fish and shrimp. The shrimp tacos were the best--succulent with great sauce. The kale salad was fresh, tasty, well-dressed and easily shared. A variety of salsas came with the tacos.

We came for a birthday celebration for special friend. Received great service and love the food! We look forward to coming again! A great staple for PORTLAND!

Carnitas tacos were good. I gave it 4 stars as my chips for salsa order were all small, or mostly small. It’s really hard to scoop salsa onto a small broken chip. I also thought the chips would be warm as well - they were not. I did come in at 5 minutes to closing, but it’s a nice summer warm night out and it’s only 8pm. I get they must be tired, I say if your going to serve small chips then it should be free. I wouldn’t have complained if the chips and salsa was free. Just saying.

We took our nephew and his wife here on their recommendation, and thoroughly enjoyed the food here! Their chips and salsa as well as the chips and guacamole were both quite good, and the various small tacos of pork, fish, and beef we had were also delicious. We also enjoyed the "Virgil"s diet soda" which we'd never tried before. The prices were good and we only spent about $15 per person for food and drinks! We'll no doubt be back!

Today we went for the first time to Tacovore for lunch. As so often in Portland you order at the counter and take a seat after. You’ll find seating inside and outside. Also the staff was very friendly. I ordered one taco with chorizo and one with beef. The chorizo taco was spicy. The beef taco with cilantro, guacamole, onion an Chile oil was delicious. But I would have preferred if if the beef would have been medium. But anyway, everything tasted good and we liked the place.

Went to Tacovore with two business associates while in Portland. I have celiac and as a result, must adhere to a strict GF diet. This place is ALL gluten free. (except some alcohol) But the food is all GF. You would never know it either. Tastes amazing. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Let's tacobout Tacovore... not many words other than yum, delicious and can I have more really do it justice... Right off of Freemont, there are plenty of options to choose from, but, if this isn't on the top of your list then you are missing out. They are well known for their Tacos and it shows. There are many great flavor options to choose from vegetarian friendly too. So rich with flavor, you can't really get enough. Their salsas are so good and have various heat levels. Drinks are on a whole different level. A taco place wouldn't be good without an amazing margarita. New daily flavors, you can't go wrong with any of the options though. They were respectful and compliant with covid protocol. My only complaint is that it seems a bit on the pricier end, but, still awesome!! Get your taco on!!
