Foods are excellent! Escarole is delicious, Pork Belly Situation is top notch, Bone Marrow it’s good to try. As asian, I approved. The place is quite small and I didn’t make a reservation so I waited for 20mins. It’s quite busy after 8pm so come earlier.

A popular Vietnamese restaurant offering an Americanized interpretation of Vietnamese street food. The execution is competent, with generous portions and broad appeal, but the menu lacks depth and originality. A handful of dishes show restraint and subtlety, hinting at greater potential, yet most offerings are straightforward and familiar rather than inventive or complex. Nothing truly stands out, though nothing disappoints either. Overall, it is OK and reliable, but not remarkable.

We started with the tamarind glazed ribs and chicken wings. The wings were huge! Great fish sauce glaze - sweet, savory, tangy! Shared the Lamb situation wraps and they hit all the right notes, we loved the pineapple garnish. Great vibe, great server, amazing food!

We have heard so many good things about Tam Tam and we had to try the restaurant with friends this weekend for dinner and we're so glad we did! Tam Tam is a very very small restaurant in Downtown Miami right across from the Miami Dade County Courthouse, and reservations are A MUST. Reservations open up 21 days in advance on Resy and go super quick. We made a reservation for a Saturday evening for a 7 PM slot for a table of 4 and arrived early to check-in and find parking. There are plenty of Miami Dade County court house parking garages in the area (you can park for up to 4 hours for $10- definitely not bad for Downtown Miami parking prices). We arrived at the restaurant and checked in with the host stand at the window and received a warm greeting from the host and they offered to have drinks prepared for us while our table was being prepared. The drink menu has everything from beer and wine, to wine based cocktails, and non-alcoholic drink options, all ranging in price. We ordered the Mango Margarita in the pig (around $20) for a nice size cocktail and it was really good and amazing quality! Our table had a slight delay due to the previous party staying a little longer, and the manager came out and kept us updated and sat us promptly as soon as the table was ready. We really appreciated their courteous service and they were all so nice, we really didn't even care that the table was 5 or 10 minutes after our reservation time because everyone was so friendly the entire time we were in the restaurant. When we were seated, our server came by and gave us a warm greeting for our first visit and provided us with our menus and offered any initial suggestions and came by a few minutes later to help us with our menu selections. For the smaller plates, it's a good idea to order about 2-3 smaller plates per person dining. We didn't order any of the larger plates because the smaller plates that we ordered were all pretty large portions. Our smaller plates we ordered were: -Jungle Steak Tartare ($21) -Lotus Root Salad ($21) -Shimeji Mushroom ($16) -Tam Tam wings ($18) -Tamarind Glazed Pork Ribs ($18) We also ordered the following items for dessert: -Callie's Pumpkin Tres Leches ($12) -Guava Cashew Cheesecake ($10) We also ordered the Mango Margarita wine based cocktail ($14) and a beer ($8). All food is OMG completely out of this world- everything was so flavorful and fresh, and the chefs truly put a lot of attention and care to every single dish. All of the employees were so friendly and made us all feel warm and welcome and never made us feel rushed at any point in the meal. Definitely we want to come back to Tam Tam and I would say it's one of the best restaurants in Miami right now!

Tam Tam is a great spot for a date night—cozy and low-lit, perfect for a relaxed evening. The Vietnamese food is excellent; the fried wings and shrimp salad were standout dishes. And don’t miss the durian soft serve—it’s a bit unusual but surprisingly tasty!

Reserve two weeks ahead online, if you can. If you ever knew Fat Rice in Chicago or Pok Pok in Brooklyn, you’re ready for Tam Tam. Absolutely excellent service. Many small plates. We had the mushrooms and the amazing grilled escarole. Three large plates. We shared the lamb wraps. This is not our standard Banh mi and pho shop, although I like those. This is inventive and original.

Excellent Vietnamese food with inventive twists in a casual setting downtown. Reasonable prices for what you get too. There are a few outside tables on the street but most are inside. Reservations were already about a week out, but the restaurant was just awarded a Bib Gourmand from Michelin (meaning excellent food at good value; it is not a star), so it will probably be even busier. Four of us ordered small items to share. We all loved the escarole dish, which I think was maybe roasted! But we also wolfed down the dragon shrimp crudo, the heaping lotus root salad, and the meaty salt and pepper frog legs (yes, they taste like chicken even here). The highlight was the 2-pound whole steamed fish, a branzino, which was oh-so-tender, with a fantastic light sauce. For dessert we shared the soursop pavlova, an exotic twist for this dish. It was nice to see a Riesling Spatlese wine by the glass, as well as an Alsatian Sylvaner. Even thought the restaurant was full, the music was mercifully not blasting, so conversation was easy. With our two charming servers, it was a very pleasurable evening.

Had a great experience at Tam Tam Miami. The oysters were beautiful and incredibly flavorful, and the scallop crudo was delicious—light, fresh, and tasty enough to sip like a soup thanks to the sauce. The fish sauce wings were amazing—crispy, savory, and perfectly balanced. The mushrooms were decent, though a bit lacking in flavor compared to the other standout dishes. I wrapped up with the cheesecake, which was sweet and satisfying—not traditional Vietnamese, but still a great finish. Overall, the service was attentive and warm, and I appreciated the creative take on Vietnamese flavors.

This place is super busy and highly rated. I loved the lotus root salad and the frog legs and chicken wings. Highly recommend the oysters and goat curry as well. The ribs and the tartare were duds. Especially the tartare was disappointing as I am a huge fan of tartares and have had hundreds. This would one would definitely be a lower quartile one… still I recommend a visit, it is a fun location with a fun menu.
