Really enjoyed eating here for dinner. They offer a large buffet spread , and it is terrific . The dal was so delicious — really all the dishes were excellent. The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. Will definitely return on our next visit.

Great food, great people, could use a little updating of the building.

The good is so fresh and tasty! The staff is nice and take excellent care of you. All the flavors are amazing and the buffet is plentiful. It was so great, I had to go back a second night!

Great flavor, very clean great service it could be decorated a little better to get 5 stars besides that everything is great. Highly recomended as far as flavor goes.

My husband and I had visited this restaurant several times in the past and had enjoyed it. So, I was excited to bring one of my girlfriends here who is vegan, so she loves Indian food. Unfortunately, this time was not a pleasant experience. Rather, it was insulting and negative. The food was cold, the bread was awful and the management was a disgrace. When I shared with him the concern about the temperature of the food, he escorted me to the buffet and placed the food in a bowl in an attempt to explain that it wasn't cold. I told him that I didn't want it. As a result, he poured the food back into the serving dish on the buffet. Why would you do this?! Thereafter, the staff became upset about what we said about the bread and gave us "attitude" about our complaint. With all of this, we didn't eat; yet, management insisted on charging us since we made a plate that was barely touched. I will NOT return nor RECOMMEND this restaurant ever again.

After reading good reviews I taught of trying this joint the ambience and the service was fine. Even though its a 10$ buffet, they really care that you visited the restaurant. Hot butter naan served on table. I was not totally blown away by any particular item on the buffet. But, food has been decent. But butter man was excellent

Would rate higher if they'd do something with the dingy door leading into the kitchen near the buffet. Not very appealing.......

Very good Indian buffet and inexpensive! Lots of different choices that are always fresh and very tasty. The freshly baked Naan is delicious!

A very comfortable atmosphere with a buffet of entrees, salads, soup, great naan, sauces and desserts. The chai is great. I have several favorites, but my most favorite is chicken tikka masala. The staff are very good and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Super food, friendly and attentive service. The buffet is excellent and they vary the selections. Without doubt the best Nan bread in town. Just down the block from the medical center.

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Variety was great and everything was cooked well. The waitstaff and owners were very friendly. Great experience. Will be back again.

Good Indian food. Lot of variety available for vegetarians and non vegetarians alike. Specially liked the naan basket that they bring to the table individually.

The service was very well and they were always there to give you whatever you needed. The buffet was amazing but the chick peas were probably not cooked well enough since it ended up giving us stomach problems. Other than that, the food and Mango Lassi was very enjoyable.

The quality of chicken is very bad. It tastes like rubber. Nan is good. But if you want to enjoy a good evening with family and have good food, please avoid this place.

When you find a simple family restaurant in a remote location on a Monday lunch with several tables reserved it must be doing something special. And it was good food, great fresh bread well worth a visit.

We were happy with the buffet however, I would recommend going early. We didn't get to the restaurant until after 8pm and realized quickly that, as with any buffet, eating as close to opening time is best in order to enjoy the freshest food.

The curry chicken was amazing especially paired with the samosas. Atmosphere is really nice and the staff are all welcoming.

This place serve buffet during lunch and dinner, both, time; and had good buffet selection. However, food was mild as per my Indian taste buds :-). Didn't get opportunity to order from menu; however, I am sure, food must have been great. Owner and staff was very attentive towards guests.

The fresh naan. The mango custard. And just about everything in between! Standard Indian-buffet dishes along with some new (to me) dishes to try. Especially enjoyed the mattar paneer. The spice/heat level is probably adjusted for the American palate, and they could have taken it up a notch or two for me. But overall a tasty, fresh meal. The service was prompt and attentive, far from gushing and hovering. And that's the way I like it. So the exterior is a bit faded, and the building sits across from the Secrets Boutique (I don't even want to know). Ignore it and enjoy your meal.

Indian Bread basket is the best! Great buffet variety and very authentic and tasty!! We will be returning!

Went the day after Christmas and enjoyed the amazing buffet. The selection is varied, offering a great selection of both vegetarian and meat dishes, along with dessert options, soups and sauces. The service was also wonderful - just the right amount of attention, from refilling water to clearing away empty plates, we felt well cared for. The buffet itself is clean, appealing and well-stocked. No scraping the last bit of rice from an almost-empty catering pan. We will be back!

Im a regular in this restaurant .Simply this understated restaurant is among the top restaurants in San Antonio regardless of ethnic origin. The food is freshly cook and flavorful few dishes are spicy and are properly label as such. My favorites "its a buffet''' meat balls ,dark meat chicken curry and of course tandoori chicken .Interestingly the owner ,his associate and a very nice lady are the only waiting staff but the service is prompt and efficient no matter how busy they are. OHH big one ; their ice tea is so delicious they could bottle it and make a lot of money.

To begin with, the environment literally reminded me of India restaurants I have eaten at during some of my extensive travels through India... whether you find that good or bad, is at your own discretion! This is an all day buffet (something I am not accustomed to seeing with Indian food), the Chicken Tikka Masala was fantastic, I could have eaten the whole lot of it... the Tandoori chicken, however, was weird... it was like rubber chicken sprayed with red food coloring or something, was not good at all. Then comes the naan bread... it was freshly made and served direct to the table and it was FANTASTIC! Everything you would want Naan to be. Most other things on the buffet were just ok... the Tikka Masala and Naan were certainly the winners of the night.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in San Antonio.. why? First of all because it's authentic, pork FREE! Lol... so important to me. I've Never had a bad dish from here. The same owners have had this establishment for over a decade. Absolutely fabulous Indian food..

Absolutely my favorite Indian restaurant ever! But especially in San Antonio. The buffet is amazing. Love the people and the new building is so amazing!

We went for their lunch buffet with our group of 6. We were seated quickly and the waiter did a great job keeping everyone's drinks full as well as continuously bringing fresh hot naan to the table. There's quite a selection for everyone at the all you can eat buffet - a few different chicken dishes, beef, fish and different vegetable dishes. I'd like there to be some more spicy dishes but all the traditional items were there and some with a little zing. I was pleased that their ventilation was good - you don't leave smelling like curry as some other Indian restaurants. The line of Blue Plate awards is a testament to their cleanliness and safe food handling.

This is a great place for lunch and dinner. Their buffet is always looked after and fresh. We enjoy Bombay Hall for the great tasting food, friendly atmosphere and superb tea.

small place buffet is good not too spicy Ordered the lamb vandaloo mild was still kinda spicy would come back to this place

We joined Birthday Celebration in our family circle. Small but nice place to organise such an event. Food quality and buffet service was good. Largely taste of food items except that of one or two was authentic. However, overall ambience wax just OK.

We listened to other folks on Trip Advisor and drove 15 miles across San Antonio to eat at the Bombay Hall and were not disappointed. We arrived a 2pm- the end of the lunch service- for a while we were the only diners but the buffet was full of food, the Naan was fresh and wonderful and we were able to get our Indian food fix at a reasonable price

Very very nice place. Good ambience Good service Reasonable price Good taste North indian food. Definitely recommend it for others.

Awesome food AWESOME customer service owners are always around to help you and Serve you. And they can tell you what is spicy and what is not. We've been coming here for the past 4yrs. And there metro health score is 100% A+!

This buffet is tasty and has a variety of foods. They have received the Blue Plate Award from the local tv station (based on food inspection). It's yummy!

Great place, fast clean best Indian food in San Antonio. Recommend highly. Great menu good prices. Friendly staff clean fast service

Food was awesome, service was awesome, bathroom needs a bath.

First, I have to say I'm not a fan of Indian food because it always tastes like cinammon. To me cinnamon is a dessert flavor. I tried this restaurant because my Son highly recommended it. Boy, was I in for a treat! The Indian food at Bombay Hall is exactly how I envisioned or rather hoped Indian food should taste like. Flavorful, spicy, and just plain delicious! And no cinammon flavor! The ultimate treat was the Naan which is quickly brought to the table. The BEST flatbread EVER! And the service is phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about this place. I was very impressed with the food and service. The prices were very reasonable also. I will definitely return on my next trip to San Antonio.

Love this place! This is our go to Indian restaurant and we have never been unhappy. We usually go to the lunch buffet, but have been to dinner as well. The dishes here are so delicious, you will definitely make multiple trips to the buffet. I try to stick with vegetarian dishes, and they have plenty to offer. Go for the Chana Masala and if they have it the squash dish is so good. The naan bread is made fresh and brought right to the table, still hot from the oven and freshly seasoned. Service here is always spot on, and you hardly have to wait for anything you order off menu. Go here! You will not be disappointed and will leave fully satisfied.

I have been twice to Bombay oven and was very impressed by the food and the service. Mr. Jassie, who is the owner, invites all his customers and makes them feel at home. The buffet that included goat meat, chicken and several vegetables was delicious. Mr. Jassie told me he uses fresh vegetables and makes sure the food is kept mild (not too spicy). He said that he wants to make sure every one goes satisfied from his restaurant.

i ate here last month. The food was specticular. I wil never eat at another indian resturant again. This beats them all.

From the outside look of the Bombay Hall I was very cautious. Its not a very pretty restaurant infact its worn and doesnt look like much at all,but my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try because we had not been able to find an Indian restaurant in San Antonio we were sold on. Im so very glad we did, the food is great, infact its the best Indian iv had in San Antonio. If you can get past it being an older building and the inside being tiny the food is definitly worth the trip to this little jewel, and hey if the restaurant really worries you thst much there is always take out.

This Indian buffet, recommended by my coworker, was an absolute gem! The butter chicken was rich and flavorful, and the garlic naan was soft, buttery, and perfectly garlicky 😭. Everything was fresh, with a wide variety of options for the whole family, from vegetarian dishes like paneer tikka to kid-friendly choices. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A 10/10 experience – highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine! Definitely a place the whole family loved and we can’t wait to go back also big s/o to the server I believe his name was Jason if I remember correctly super polite young man!

Love this place. Both the food and the service are wonderful. I've always just gone with the buffet, and I've never been disappointed. Personally, my favorites are the vindaloo and chicken tikka masala, but there's quite a bit in the buffet that I like. The naan is awesome and complimentary, and they're quick to bring out more if you're running low. We've eaten here multiple times, and Bombay Hall has now become the standard to which we judge other Indian restaurants.

Bombay Hall is the best Indian Food in SA. Don't be discouraged if the exterior isn't what you expect, the interior is cheery and clean and the food is amazing. My husband and I go often and they know us by name, order, and spicy level. You can call ahead and pick-up, and they know who I am as soon as I say "Hi." Super friendly staff and fantastic food. Their korma is hands down the best in town, and their roti and naan is great. Go if you haven't been yet, or call in some dinner and pick-it-up, you will really enjoy it!!! :)

Don't get me wrong, I like authentic ethnic food, and this place came highly recommended. But when I arrived, it was one of those places where I questioned the cleanliness of the kitchen... And with good reason. (I'll get to that soon.) I got some saag paneer, garlic naan, and popadums to go. At my hotel room I was enjoying my dinner, and I thought it was ok. Had better, but not bad. Then I found a big shard of metal in my saag paneer. Yeah, kind if turned me off.

2 for the lunch buffet. Nothing special. Same choices as most other Indian restaurants in San Antoinio except for the goat curry. Few customers at lunch time. India Palace, a short distance away, is in my opinion much better.

Bombay Hall is a gem of a restaurant here in San Antonio, TX. The place is unassuming on the outside but clean and surprisingly friendly on the inside. The owner is always onsite, the servers bring fresh naan bread to your table constantly, and refill your drinks before you can even finish the glass! The food is flavorful and delicious, a welcome change from the usual Mexican fare here in South Texas. (Not that there's anything wrong with Mexican) . When in San Antonio, TX do yourself a favor and stop by Bombay Hall and bring your appetite!!!

Their naan here is best I've ever had--just crispy enough. The buffet here is truly one of the best in town if not THE best in town. The outside of the restaurant likes dicey, but trust me--go inside! Fabulous food made with great care.

Went to lunch here and had the buffet. Food was very good and a large selection to choose from at a reasonable price. Had 4 different desserts to choose from, compared to most buffets usually have one or two.

We have been eating here for years. Can't get enough. Every time family comes into town they request we take them here as well. Food is always perfect! They keep some of the favorite dishes and change up things seasonally and add a new dish here and there. The Masala Mattar (spelling?) is our absolutely favorite and out of all the Indian & Middle Eastern restaurants in town, they have the best selection, BREAD, and service! We love how they have won numerous blue plate awards and watch their food handling practices and the length of time they keep food on the buffet and they do it all by the book! If you love Indian Food, eat here. If you've never tried it, YOU MUST!!! You can order off a menu as well if you'd prefer to go that route. Prices are super reasonable. Workers are so nice and so attentive. Really can't say enough about this place.

This family-run restaurant offers multiple vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes for buffet. I really liked malai kofta and chicken tikka masala with “fresh naan”. Excellent service by the staff.

Food is very bland. Buffet items are not at all appetizing. Not much variety in the buffet. There are four or five different chicken dishes. One beef meatball item along with some vegetarian items. Naan is good.

This is my new favorite restaurant in San Antonio - definitely the best Indian food I've had so far. My husband and I went with for the dinner buffet with another couple who eat here monthly. My approach with a buffet is to take small servings of everything that looks good and then get a second plate with more of my favorites. At Bombay Hall, I wanted seconds of everything I tried. Our waiter kept our glasses filled (and the glasses were small so he had to be attentive) without hovering. The naan was delicious. I can't wait to go back again. Very good value for the food.

This restaurant is filthy, carpet is soiled with dirt and soil. Every dish I tasted was terrible, it had no taste. These people do not know how to cook Indian food. They should get out this business and try selling burger and fries. I wish food inspector would visit this place and shut it down. SHR

The Tikka Masala here is amazing. Best I've had. The rest of the food is very good as well. It's a buffet, so it's a good value if you eat a lot! Very good and friendly service .A wide assortment of diners while we were there.

My SO and I came here last Friday night to celebrate a long work week with our favorite cuisine- Indian. We've had our fair share and consider ourselves to have developed a good taste for it. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the buffet here. We came in around 8pm and the waiter seemed perturbed that we didn't want to sit at a tiny table between two other tables full of people. We asked to sit at another table which he begrudgingly sat us at, mumbling about the rush being over and the section being closed. I've been a server and I respect that thought, however the only table was literally a tiny two top that was ON TOP of other tables. I wanted dinner with my SO, not two other groups of strangers breathing on my naan and curry. So that was already not a good start. The saag paneer was okay, the tikka masala was pretty okay. The samosas were standard but not terrible. The malai kofta was edible but not great. The mixed veggies, the pakora, and the rice were all cold, hard, and seemed to have been sitting out for a long time. The only enjoyable items were the matter paneer and the naan, I had several serving of each to make up for the eh-ness of everything else. Overall, we weren't impressed, felt overcharged, and won't be coming back. Plenty of other much better competition in San Antonio.

Very yummy. Many options for vegetarians. Same staff & owners are always working there & are always friendly & remember us. Fresh food for a buffet. + the Bread they offer you is amazing!

We went as a family for lunch. The buffet was very good and we were pleasantly surprised to get some simple home food in addition to the regular "party style" dishes. The staff were very attentive towards us and made us feel special. Highly recommended.

I just tried this restaurant when I normally ate at India Palace down the road. I don't think I'll go back to India Palace after the perfect experience I had at Bombay Hall! The food was very flavorful and the buffet was well-organized, appealing, they separated the meat dishes from the vegetarian. The staff was attentive but not overly so. The decor was tasteful and elegant. I truly had a wonderful experience.

This is a great and authentic indian food place. It is not much to look at from the outside, but it has a fantastic buffet with a wide variety of entrees to sample and for a wonderful price. Be careful not to eat too much as it will be easy to do. My family and i will certainly be making this place a regular.

My husband and I decided to try this place for dinner. They had a buffet for supper so we had that. Lots of vegetarian options which we love, although we're not vegetarians per se. Everything was tasty, fresh and hot. Love the piping hot nan bread brought to our table. A glass of red wine for under $4.5 and half a carafe for $7 can't beat it. Servers were very nice and friendly. Nothing fancy inside but clean and practical.

Based on the good reviews we visited the restaurant for dinner. The service was awesome, they greeted us as soon as we came in the door and kept our water and naan basket full. It wasn't the best Indian food we've had but the chicken curry and rice was good.

We decided to eat outside of our box on vacation, when we pulled up to the restaurant we were not impressed, until we went inside. Nice décor, wonderful service, and fantastic food. We are now desperate to find something as good in our hometown. Consider us addicted!!

THe food here is much better than India Palace across the street. However, its still not "great" indian food. But, very decent. Big plus is that the service is excellent. Even though its a 10$ buffet, they really care that you visited the restaurant. Hot butter naan served on table. They will give you more naan if you ask for it. They can also make it without butter. I was not totally blown away by any particular item on the buffet. But, food has been decent quality both the times I visited.

My wife and I were in San Antonio for the day and found that our favorite Indian restaurant is closed on Mondays. A search revealed that Bombay Hall (renamed, apparently, to Tandoor Palace) was nearby, so we gave it a shot. Bad mistake. We can usually find something good at a buffet, but this one proved problematic. The various chicken dishes were dry or poorly spiced…or both. The veggies were slightly better with regard to flavor, but, for example, who really wants cauliflower that has been cooked to oblivion? Naan? Decent. Gulag jamun? Dense, with flavorless syrup. There are so many better options out there.

I like this place for their small yet simple selection of buffet food. Not spicy enough for Indian taste buds but tastes good.Menu items are similar most days.Friendly customer service and great price.

I was staying at a hotel in the area and used my phone GPS to find nearby restaurants. Luckily for me I was in the mood for Indian. I called in a to go order and the time they quoted me was perfect as it was coming out of the kitchen as I was walking in the door. The buffet looked and smelled amazing. Service was friendly and they made a point of telling me to be careful when I backed my car out (if you go there you will see why). I brought the food back to my room and WOW. I had a lamb dish and the spice was exactly how I expected it (medium....just perfect, enough to make my lips tingle but not too spicy that I couldn't taste the flavors). Don't let the outside of the building scare you away. This 27 rated Zagat restaurant has it all, great food, friendly service and owners who obviously care about each and every customer experience.

My entire family loves this restaurant! Our grandsons, ages 3 and 8, love it. It has everything your stomach and tastebuds could desire! The nan-bread is out of this world! The tandoori chicken melts in your mouth. My children, who love spicy food, find amazing treats! I, on the otherhand, don't like spicy and there is more than enough choices for me! The staff is so attentive - our water and tea glasses were never empty! I would eat there every day if I could.

We ate here twice while on vacation. The food was very good and compared to other indian restaurants this is 4/5 stars for taste. None of the dishes are so hot to be unpalatable. My children and husband also enjoyed it. Both times we ate the buffet and there were several protein choices, vegetables and grains. It includes dessert, 3 choices at least. Overall very good buffet. They also have a menu to order a la carte. The mall where it is located is kind of dingy and the decor inside is crying for a makeover. But the prices are so low, I don't expect any decor makeover soon. Definitely would go back when in San Antonio.

Bombay Hall is never full and from the outside you would think it is not worth trying it out, but I sure am glad I did. The food is great and they have a variety of dishes available. The best part is that each table is served as much fresh, warm, delicious naan as you want. Everytime I have gone, I have only seen the same two men tending to their customers. They are very attentive. I assure you that your drink will never run dry. Please give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

The buffet was delicious, fresh and decent priced. Its a great place to go to if you are craving for some homemade Indian food for lunch.

I've tried all the others. This is still my favorite. Always super friendly service and fresh, hot Naan delivered to your table! They rotate their buffet selections better than other Indian Restaurants and their standard items like the Butter chicken are better than any place else. I think I just go do I can have the Galub Jamun for dessert! Or maybe it's the super crunchy wafers of Papadum I crave!

This food is the best Indian food I have eaten anywhere. I mean the best. I always have loved Indian food but now the bar has now been set. Period. I have eaten at other Indian buffets from Oklahoma to California and I have never tasted something so delicious. Every entre in the bar is a sensual sensation in dancing on your taste buds. The tastes range wildly from sweet to bitter to tart to sultry. The Tandori Chicken is always succulent. The Chicken Marsala and the Paneer's are just amazing. The services is equal to none. The staff flit around like hummingbirds refilling drinks even if you're only half way done. We began going to this place years ago when no one was there. They treated us like kings then and now that the place is packed I see that is just the way they treat their guests, making a superb dining experience for each guest. The water filter they bought really makes the water taste amazing. This is the first restaurant I haven't demanded ice because the water they fill is cold as is. I am a water snob, yes water tastes different the different places you go. Their water is amazing so I asked the owner about it. Apparently he invested in a 2000 dollar filtration system because he knew their were people like us that love clean water. WOW. This whole place is WOW. Lastly the atmosphere. The owners have meticulously cultivated the atmosphere of the dining room. Right down the the glasses that they use (we ended up asking about it when they changed glasses). The artistry that hangs on the wall always becomes a conversation piece. Each tapestry is beautifully woven and brings you to a time and place that only exists in our fantasies here.

This restaurant changed its name from Bombay Hall to Tandoor Palace about four years ago--same ownership, same menu. I submitted a name change request to Tripadvisor. It's not the prettiest storefront on the block but it makes up for that with its food. The former name, Bombay Hall, was always a misnomer for me, having lived in India for several years. The food is that of the Punjab with a nod to Rajastan. That doesn't mean it's bad, just not what one would be expecting if going by the name alone. As you can see from my photos there is a sufficient variety of dishes. My test of a buffet, Indian or otherwise, is to place samples of various dishes on my plate and taste them in rapid succession. Is each very distinct from each other or is that distinction muted? Unfortunately, at Tandoor Palace, the latter is the case. Don't get me wrong, the dishes are quite good, just not good enough to warrant five stars. But hey, four stars is a great rating in anyone's book. Okay, here's what I tried. (Ready?) Vegetable samosas, mixed pakora, fish pakora, Chicken 65, tandoori chicken wings, raita, chutney, mixed pickles, aloo gobi, curried meatballs, chicken tikka masala, vegetable biryani, dal, naan, papadum, saag paneer, khir, mango pudding, semolina cake and gulab jamun. (Whew!) Yes, for you, Gentle Reader, I forced myself to . . . who am I kidding; I wanted it, I ate it, okay? There were some standouts. The dal was by far the winner. Yes, dal--that simple, ubiquitous thin lentil soup. Pour it over white rice, crumble in papadum and it breathes forth the heart of India. In my years there I ate it almost every day and never tired of it. Add a dab of chutney or a piece of pickle--heaven! The dal was followed very closely by the samosas (had one on each plate and could have eaten more). They were filled with the usual potatoes and peas but the flavor was anything but usual--some of the best I've had. The tandoori chicken wings deserve a mention for their deep, smokey flavor; they were moist and succulent. Also, the saag paneer was quite good, very smooth, but lacking the spiciness I like in the dish; this, however is a personal preference. The one item that was a bit off-putting was the naan. The flavor was fine and they were generously brushed with butter or ghee but it was the texture that took me aback. Imagine a flat a brioche with that chewy-spongy consistency. Did that stop me from eating it after the first bite? Not on your life! A word must be said about the staff. They are kind, efficient and helpful. Glasses are kept full, plates are cleared quickly and the restaurant as a whole is kept extremely clean. Evidence of this is reflected by their health inspection scores; over the years it has remained a constant 100%! Can't get better than that.

My wife and I eat here quite often. They are all so nice and make you feel very appreciated as a customer. You go a few times and they start to know you by name. When we call our orders in they know what we like and the hotness levels are always perfect. I'm more of a mild korma guy and my wife likes the heat. I was really excited to see they serve roti, not just nan. We are from Dallas and have tried a few Indian restaurants here in San Antonio, this one is by far my favorite. For those who are skeptical and judge books by their cover, the restaurant is very nice on the inside and always clean.

The restaurant itself or the neighborhood does not seem great. The restaurant needs update in terms of décor and paint. Little room to maneuver in between tables. Very little parking on the front side but ample on the rear end. The food is best part of this restaurant. Decent options to choose from vegetarian or not. One of the few Indian restaurants serving fish pakora in buffet. The service is appreciable! Recommended for Indian buffet.

We came here to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday with his entire family, who drove over an hour specifically to dine at this restaurant. What should have been a special occasion turned into an uncomfortable and upsetting experience. The waitress offered nothing but water and was persistent about rushing us out the door, without giving us an opportunity to order or enjoy the restaurant. Her behaviour was extremely rude and dismissive. Throughout this time, the manager stood nearby and stared at our table continuously in a way that felt inappropriate and intimidating. What made this even more disturbing was watching a white family arrive shortly after and receive warm, attentive, five-star service — a stark and undeniable contrast. The treatment we received felt like racial profiling. I also find it deeply ironic and deeply disappointing that this occurred at Tandoor Palace Indian Restaurant, a restaurant rooted in a culture that understands what it means to be marginalised. No family should feel unwelcome or scrutinised simply for who they are. We will not be returning.
Favorite Local Spot
This has been one of my favorite local spots for years. It is always reliable for a delicious meal where you can indulge in a variety of items. I love the buffet, although I do sometimes find myself eating way too much, way too fast. The owner's are always friendly and remember us every time we come, even if we don't make it back for several months. We always feel welcome and know we are going to consistently get a great quality meal at a great price.
