Service was slow and she rarely came to the table! The food was very mediocre and not worth the cost at all! The steak was cooked well but not seasoned. The same went for the chicken. The best thing on the plate was the parmesan broccoli, but it wasn’t even warm when it got to the table.

Busy so did not sit at reserved time but staff very friendly and food was great. The bison was really good as was the deserts.

Very good channel address. Impeccable servers (neither too much nor too little), good meat (bison), impeccable hamburgers.

We were attracted by the chance to try the bison meat, so we ordered 3 mega cheeseburger service a bit slow but perfect burgers. The meat is tasty although I expected a stronger taste. Correct prices

Fantastic atmosphere - service and friendliness is outstanding - we started out with some Bison Nachos, they were great ( very tasty ) followed by Filet Mingon and Ribeye, cooked to perfection ( medium rare) We were greeted by Richard The Manager as well, prices are more than reasonable- good value for money! Can’t recommend this place enough - we had a blast - a evening to remember Visiting on business from Denmark and Germany!

We came I from California starving. The pickle appetizers were delish. I had the bison chili you cut with a knife, it was ok. I enjoyed it but, my two others in the party ordered the bison burger with onion rings. They loved the bison burger. Bison burger was "Bomb"!

Had dinner here with my Wife and teen daughter while in ATL for the weekend. Service was so slow and food quality was below average for what you are charged. Our server couldn't care less if we had refils of drinks and took forever bringing food and even checking back in on us. We started with the garlic shrimp appetizer and it was just okay. The ciabatta bread it was served on needed to be toasted more as it was mush. Daughter had hamburger and said it was fine (hard to mess up a burger). Wife had a chicken dish and said it lacked any flavor. I ordered salmon, server says "The Chef recommends is medium" which is how I would order it so I was fine with that....Well, if that's what he recommends, then he should cook it medium and not well done so it so dried out! I've made better at home, to be honest. We had to wait about 20 minutes AFTER we were done eating to even get a look from our server to wave her over to get our check. This place has a long way to to go to reach the food quality and service levels of places like Ocean Prime, Ruth's Chris, St. Elmo Steakhouse (Indy), Tony's of Indianapolis, Kayne Prime (Nashville) and Chops Steakhouse (Royal Caribbean Cruiselines). I cannot recommend it and will NOT be back and wish we had just eaten across town at Ruth's Chris.

We ordered 2 different steaks with 2 side dishes that were both very tasty. The only comment is that a little too much salt is used and therefore the taste is slightly lacking. But recommended in a city where we have not really found the food culture.

First, the food: Reasonable prices, exceptional menu. Let's face it, you don't see bison on the menu very often anywhere, and especially not in the American Southeast. This isn't a novelty food-- bison is as tasty as beef, in my opinion, and it has been proven to be of greater nutritional value. I was glad to see it, and so was my grandson. Wife and grandson's wife were equally pleased with their meals. The service, however, was above and beyond the call of duty. Really. Inside it was timely and friendly and we had a very nice experience. But... I left my credit card in the restaurant! We had left and gotten to the end of the block when the server came running up to return to card. Unexpected and most definitely appreciated-- Absolutely a 5-star-- make it a 6, doggone it!-- experience. Count me in the next time I'm in Atlanta.

Food was great but our server, Lala is what made the experience so great. She was friendly and kind and provided impeccable service. Onion rings are so good. Bison burger was delicious. Great meal and atmosphere. Wikki stix for the “kids” kept us all entertained until our food arrived. Clean bathrooms was appreciated as well.

Was looking for someplace to eat after going to some museums and stumbled onto this place and was so glad. I absolutely loved the area and the atmosphere. Just walking in the food smelled delicious, but it wasn’t till we got our food that we got to experience just how delicious the food was. The staff were polite and very friendly as well as made us feel right at home. This place is a must.

Fabulous restaurant for those who must eat gluten free with dedicated menu and fryers. Food and service were excellent with various bison dishes that were delicious. Atmosphere was fun and restaurant clean and spacious.

Poorly managed. Overbooked reservations not honored. Also very small and smoky inside, and there is no parking available for this restaurant (patrons must find offsite lots). Hostess personnel lost control of parties waiting to be seated. Lastly, this is not the place for a party of more than four because this small restaurant has predominantly booths.

Onion ring appetizer is a good choice , Avalon burger has a great blue cheese taste, fish sandwich delicious and for dessert the wild berry cheesecake was the absolute best dessert we have ever had. Shania was an absolute fabulous server...

The wait was about 15 min but boy was it worth it. The burger patty was so juicy. Highly recommend. They also sell buffalo. With the burger comes a 50/50 side where you can get onion rings and fries.

We just had a fantastic meal at TED'S MONTANA GRILL in Downtown Atlanta. Our meal was great. We Both had a delicious steak, cooked exactly as ordered. Everything was really tasty. Our cheesecake for dessert was easily some of the best we've ever had. Magellan was an outstanding server. He was friendly, helpful, and professional. We'll definitely ask for him when we return. Thanks for a great dinner!

Wasn't exactly sure what to expect when we arrived at this place. We absolutely loved it! The bison burger I had was a complete delight from the first bit to the last. The service was impeccable. I loved everything about this place! If I lived in Atlanta it would be a regular stop but I guess I'll have to return when opportunity arises.

Have been to Ted's before but it has been a while but the food and service were great. The place was full so I ate at the bar but the service was great. Had the ribeye and it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only issue was my baked potatoes was cold but they were so busy I just ate it.

WE went to this restaurant on our first night of our recent visit to Atlanta. Wow!!! I love the menu selection. It has something for everyone. My husband and I got the ribeye (beef, not buffalo), and it was one of the best steaks that I have ever eaten. The only negative that I could say about this place is that the food can be a little on the greasy side. However, it is simply mouthwatering, including the sides. The quantity of food for the money is excellent also. Don't be afraid to try this place. If I am ever in Atlanta again, I would definitely not mind eating there again!

Restaurant was full with a line of people waiting. We managed to get seated at the bar, which was fine. Soon got talking to other diners which made for a great sociable experience. Food was good, particularly the broccoli and Parmesan side. Bar man was super efficient even though he was rushed off his feet. Loved the atmosphere.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary and had Monterrian as our waiter. He was awesome! He was so friendly and helpful. Not only was he checking on us often but he showed interest in our trip to Atlanta. He spent time speaking to us and getting to know us which is impressive customer service. We will be back. The Bison was amazing, definitely the filet.

Nice ambiance, loved the private booths. service was friendly and quick. Food was great. You can order any burger with either beef, bison, chicken or veggie patty. I had the skinny dip which was served with a fantastic kale salad instead of fries. Normally I’m not a fan of raw kale because I find it bitter, but however this was prepared was great! The chocolate malt milkshake was also amazing! Definitely recommend.

Amazing Food! We weren’t sure about the whole Bison choices but we are so happy we have it a try. The Bison Nachos were so good and the Bison steak was amazing. Our server, Marvell, made our visit 10 times better!! He was the whole reason we gave the Bison a try - thank you Marvell for a wonderful evening!!!

This is a stylish traditional American grill with a warm welcome. We came for our anniversary and it was disappointing nobody mentioned this as they were aware. However the real reason for the four and not a five was the St Phillip Crabcakes as a starter for $17 which were very small and not very tasty according to my wife. The rest of the meal definitely warranted a five as I enjoyed my Chips and Dip starter for $8. For mains we both had the iconic burgers and we both went for Bison. We had the 1977 Americas Cup and the Bison Chili cheese with both perfectly cooked. To drink my wife enjoyed her Red Sangria and I had a good Slap Fight IPA. Mason was our server who was good. It was then capped as we were lucky enough to see Ted Turner who was enjoying his dinner.

Came here for my daughter-in-law's birthday it was her first visit to Ted's ,my wife and I love Ted's and have eaten at many of them across the United States had a wait when we got there they did an excellent job of seating us as quickly as they could kept apologizing because they were short-staffed due to the pandemic... same thing we still see happening everywhere ,Sam did an excellent job we had to wait a long time for our food ,but it was well worth it ,wife had the guacamole Buffalo Burger son had Buffalo sliders and I had the Buffalo nachos.. excellent choices everything on the extensive menu is Great ... It's really all about the Buffalo, but the Beef is excellent too....try the mudslide it is fantastic ...they even have their own IPA beer now Ted's IPA it was refreshing and light ,definitely worth a visit in Atlanta or anywhere you find a Ted's excellent job even in these less than perfect times. Thanks again..as usual Ted's Montana grill !!

Ted's exceeded my expectations. The food was great (get the bison short rib), the staff was friendly and attentive, and the bar offered a wide variety of tasty concoctions. I'll be back!

We had booked this restaurant (letting them know we'd like a good table as it was our anniversary on the reservation) and turned up a few minutes early. When asked if we wanted a table (why else were we here?) we were led to a table right in the centre of a busy section. I turned and asked if we could have one of the booths around the outside at which she turned to me aggressively and said "I asked if you wanted a table!!!" In vocabulary a table is pre requisite to eating in a restaurant but she barked at me that a booth is NOT a table - who knew!? Our waiting "team", I say team as a guy was being chaperoned by a woman as he was training, were ok, not great. The food was good, Bison fillet and Bison short rib, very tasty but the staff just ruined the overall experience.

I try hard to stay away from chains. But the good thing is you know what to expect so this quick stop paid off. The atmosphere is what I enjoyed the most. It was laid-back and calming, which we needed. Don't remember any standout dishes, but I have no bad memories and I definitely overate, which tells you all you need to know.

Ok. Bad first. We made a reservation and they weren’t ready when we arrived. Ended up being seated 35 mins later than our reservation. IN ALL FAIRNESS, a large group had the servers tied up. The host was fabulous. He kept his cool and did his best to keep those of us waiting happy. Even offering pickles I believe. Once seated, there was NOTHING to complain about. Our waiter was very attentive. The bison filet was cooked to perfection! The bison bacon cheeseburger was nothing short of fantastic. There is a long bar, booth seating across, and tables and booths in back. Very clean, cozy, quaint. Some Diners were dressed up and some were dressed casual. I found the staffs ability to handle the large group, then recover to give excellent service to the rest of us, very professional. They all deserve a huge pat on the back. WE WILL NEVER STOP OVER IN ATL WITHOUT VISITING TEDS. Thank you guys so much.

Great for family! Great food and service; great location. I’ve been multiple times when in Atlanta and will go again.

I would suggest if you want to go here for dinner, make a reservation, otherwise you'll be waiting a long time. This is a midrange American food restaurant, and the food overall was very good. dishes range between $20-$30 depending on what dish you get. I got the Bison meatloaf plate that came with carrots and mashed potatoes (and you get a small bowl of cucumbers to share). The food was just warm and not hot, but it tasted pretty good. My mom had crab cakes and I tried some, and THAT was tasty. Our server Mason was very friendly and did a nice job waiting our table.

Lunch was very good. Had the 50/50 Bison and Beef burgers with 50/50 fries and onion rings. So many good items to choose from and I was not disappointed with anything. Service was fantastic. This is a place to visit more than once while in Atlanta.

Only stumbled on this restaurant by chance during our short stay in Atlanta & was more than happy with the bison filet - which I’d never tried before. Nicely laid out interior & my wife & I had a pleasant evening in one of the alcoves. Can’t recall what she ate but it included copious mounts of crunchy broccoli! She enjoyed her meal too. The waitress was most attentive, but my one criticism was that my French fries arrived several minutes after my steak.

Akira was our server and couldn't have been better! We split a dinner size Caesar (yummy and huge), he had Strip and I had Filet. They were done perfectly and just mouth wateringly good. Nice glass of wine each but no room for dessert. Just can't say enough about the visit. Thank you!

Slow service, but friendly service. Food was very good overall. Onion rings were yummy. Salmon dinner was nice. Steak dinner was perfectly cooked. Mashed potatoes are super. Charred broccoli was perfect. Just took too long. Oh well.

Shout out to Scott our server last night. Love the energy. Everything is always "just" fine. We had a Chicken Skinny Dip sandwich at $14 that was good. And, a fish sandwich, at $14 that was also good. What's really great is they don't water down your drinks and the 2 margarita's my husband and I had were excellent at $21. Downside, I think their alcohol selection (hard drinks) was limited. Bartender only makes what's on the menu. Got spoiled on the Big Island a couple of months ago, as every bartender took a drink request as a personnel challenge (and, you paid for it). Nothings better than lots of chocolate with liquor. (my personal opinion). I would go back as its a safe choice (like Starbucks). Service is great. Dinner for two w/drinks $49. Plus tax at $4.80. $53.80 before tip.

Found Ted’s because it was close to our hotel. What a great find. The Bison short ribs (wife’s meal) and the Bison brisket were awesome. Our bartender Acey was just great and very helpful

Good old fashion steak house and so much more. My husband had an excellent steak cook to perfection. I had the crab cake - the best crab cake ever. Lots of crab with very little filling. The Caesar salad was light and tasty.

Excellent food. Cute, high energy restaurant. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. The nachos with bison chili were excellent. Bison meatloaf was fantastic. Burgers were inventive and delicious.

I try to make a trip into this particular location whenever I make it into Atlanta. The ambiance is low key and mood is relaxed. The many bison offerings really should be explored! The burgers are amazing, but the streaks are to die for! Cocktails are always swiftly made and served and the entire waitstaff is like a well oiled machine! A great place to dine Downtown.

Went for the Bison Meatloaf! We were the 4th table to be seated. Opened at 11:00 - first party was seat finally seated around 11:30. 2 in our party of 5 ordered Bison Meatloaf. When our order came up at around 1:00 - they had run out of the meatloaf - asked them to choose between the Short ribs and Brisket. The Brisket was mediocure at best. The waitstaff kept apologizing for the long wait. After waiting forever for our meal - when we got out side - our 2 hr parking had expired and we had a $53.00 parking ticket!!! Needless to say no happy with Teds!

We eat here each year we are in town for work. We normally eat a bison steak and they are very delicious. Tried ordering the crab cakes but I was told they would not be available for another 30 mins or so. BUT I was told this after everyone else got their meals. I then had to wait for my next order which I was disappointed with. I had the fish sandwich. The breading was soggy and the fish was greasy. Would not recommend. The kale salad was not edible. Very bitter. It stated the salad came dressed with other items. Nope- not mine. Just bitter kale. Quite a disappointment. Since a majority of my food was left on the plate the waitress asked if everything was ok. I explained and all she said was - I am sorry.

Excellent, efficient service, fun atmosphere with private booths, and great food. We each ordered bison steaks (filet and New York) and they were wonderful, cooked medium-rare to perfection. The place was packed and a bit loud on a Saturday night, but the booths sequester you from that to a large degree and I can understand why it's so popular. Oh, the apple crisp dessert (not on the menu) was excellent as well -- and should be shared.

Food was delicious and the service very accommodating, but Mann feels very forced to tip as a European. Generally I like to give this but when 20% are selected by default it feels weird.

Eaten at Ted’s in other cities many times. Always very good experience. That was not the case with the Atlanta location. Ordering on website was easy and good. Things went downhill from there. Food arrived with no utensils (problem as was staying at a hotel). Bison meatloaf was awful - dry and overcooked. Probably the worst meatloaf I have ever had. Roll was inedible as it was very hard. Really disappointed especially because I was excited there was a Ted’s near hotel.

This is going to be a bit long but bear with me. I was at the apparel mart with colleagues and we wanted to go some place nice for our last night. The restaurant was close to where we were staying and the menu looked good. We made reservations and showed up right at the appointed time. We checked in with the maitre'd and after 15 minutes of waiting (and the bar filling up) he went back up to check on our table. He approached the host and said he just wanted to check on our table. The maitre'd held up his finger and said, "I say hello first'. It was a Friday night and we decided to let it go. We got to our table and one of the specials was brussels sprouts. We asked the waitress if we could have them as a appetizer, which didn't seem like a big ask, but she went and checked. They were AMAZING and we were like ok, now we're good. It went downhill from there. Our food was cold. I asked for a glass of wine with dinner. It showed up AFTER I was finished with my meal. We never, ever saw our server again until she brought the bill. I travel a lot for work and I understand things can get hectic but nothing I described in this review was not correctable by some basic good customer service. I'll be back to Atlanta but I won't ever be coming here again. Very disappointed.

Have dined her many times. Great Food, Service, and Prices. There may be a wait but well worth your time and appetite!

Been there with my family for lunch and experienced a very bad service. Took long to be able to order, took longer to get food, and even kids dessert was over by 2pm. They also forgot to bring some items. NOT RECOMMENDED!

We had a terrific lunch here. The homemade potato chips were soooo good. When we saw them on the counter we had to have them. Also had a decent fish sandwich and salad. Excellent chocolate shake. All served with panache by Jeffrey- May go back.

Stopped by this place before a Falcons game on Friday night for early dinner before the game. Since I was solo, I sat at the bar. The service was pretty slow but the staff behind the bar were busy which caused them to rush and forget some things. I order the buffalo burger and beer. The burger and fries came out and the food runner then left. I had to get the bartender's attention asked for utensils and napkins. I then have to ask for ketchup as well. During the meal no one asked how things were going. Was never asked if I wanted another beer. I then flagged a bartender for the bill after a few minutes, she provided the bill. The burger was good, but the fries were severed cold and just about all of them left on the plate, no asked if anything wrong with the fries.

Stopped here on our last night in Atlanta, even on a Sunday night there was a 45 minute wait seating was however available at the bar. We chose to wait and we're told by customers leaving that it was worth the wait....it was! The interior is very nicely decorated an there are many tables that are semi private booths. Very nicely done. The menu had a great variety of entre's centering around beef, or bison. I was tempted on the bison but chose to safely stick with beef. It was very good the server was very helpful and this place is well worth the stop!

I am here in Atlanta for the first time on business. This is my second time visiting the restaurant; I am visiting from California attending the 2024 Leadership and Commercial Conference by Hilton and was impressed with the warm hospitality of the staff and management; the menu offers great variety with a full bar. The restaurant is a steak house under the umbrella of a grill. The food is delicious and the ambiance is traditional with a modern twist. I highly recommend this steak house. You will love it. Sincerely, Yani Lopez California

Unfortunately my beef and my husband's bison were both very dry. Staff seemed to be disagreeing about who had which table. Not very professional. I could see in the kitchen and the man weighing out the burgers was told to put on a hat (health code requirement). He put the hat on with his gloves on and then without changing gloves or washing hands (also health code required) started digging in the raw meat. I told the man who was running the kitchen before I left. All kitchen and serving staff should be food safety trained. Not optional!! I don't like to do poor reviews but I was a food manager for 16 years and this was bad.

November 13, 2020 my husband and I (we are in our 80’s) felt rather down from all the Corvid 19 and post election news and needed to experience an outing so we called Ted’s Montana Grill at the Mall of Ga and an actual person answered the phone..not a tape..no instructions to push keys, a real person with a lovely voice , she said yes they were only for dine..we gave our name, and she Mr Donaldson we look forward to seeing you. When we arrived, we found the young lady’s name was Nicole. She welcomed and after cleaning a booth seated us. Then Zuzlea (Susan) arrived and was our exceptional server. Truly she treated us with such kindness and helpfulness. We had the very delicious salmon with a Cesar salad and after leisurely enjoying the meal we indulged in their famous brownie. Was our best date..best outing since this nasty pandemic started in March. Regretfully we did not get to see the proprietor, Mr Dennis Martin..Nicole, said they let him have a day off..but she said she would tell him that Earl and Patricia send best regards. Thank you for making our outing, our date so special.

After a long travel day to Atlanta our waitress Judith was excellent pacing our cocktails, salad and wonderful meal. Atmosphere is like a high end pub, very comfortable; highly recommend it.

Excellent service, very good food, excellent seasoning, a unique experience with Bison meat, Delicious, my respects, a great place to share with the family.

Father and I were in for the football game. Only thing that keeps this from a perfect 5 is the flavour. I had the bison brisket, and it was good, but not great. The Onion rings are fantastic. Not a horseradish fan but these rings are fantastic. Great location from the stadium for a pregame meal. Great service, stick tap to our server for recommending the broccoli over the carrots.

We went here after having a wonderful experience in the Alpharetta's restaurant. The bison steak is always of highest quality, in particular the New York Strip which is really juicy and tasty. The only thing that didn't completely match my expectations was the cooking of the meat: I asked a very rare one and I got a medium. The dish was great, anyway. High quality meat, good beer and good service in Atlanta's downtown: definitely worth a visit.

We visited to celebrate a birthday, and had a salad and a grilled bison steak with mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to order and our server (Jeffrey) was honest and helpful. Dessert on the house, which was nice. Very good choice.

We were excited when we made it to our booth and saw how cozy it was and how creative the menu looked. The excitement continued when I got my tasty Sangria. The server was good, although it took a while for drinks and appetizers to come to the table. But as the entrees arrived, our spirits dropped a bit. The "parmesan-crusted broccoli" was just a pile of steamed broccoli with parmesan dumped on it. My "brisket" was just some braised meat with a not particularly tasty gravy on it. Would not return.

Very good service topped with tender soft Bison steak. If you have not tried Bison meat before, do it here. Medium Steak was butter soft. No need for sides, they were ok but too much in relation to the 8oz steak. Do the Karen's Chili Cup as a starter and the Bison Steak as a main and you got yourself a good lunch oder dinner.

we were going to a show at the Tabernacle across the street so we went in Ted’s Montana Grill. We ordered the fillet. It had a great taste. It was very tough. Do you think when you order a $44 steak but it would be very tender, especially a fillet. I should’ve gotten the hamburger most of the people there had hamburgers and they look delicious. Just don’t order Filet.

My husband visit Ted's each year when we come to Atlanta each December. The reason it does not disappoint is because Ted's is consistent. We know that each time we come, we get quality food. If you have ever wanted to try bison, this is the place to do so! My husband always gets the Canyon Creek burger....has an egg on it along with jalepeno's and blackberry jam. A very unique combination that packs in flavor you won't forget. He always gets that burger. I tried something new this year...the bison chopped steak, topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, and gravy. It was served with butter carrots and mashed potatoes. Wow. I will definitely get it again! We love the decor as much as the food. It feels like you are stepping back in time. (I'm even fascinated with the borax hand soap in the bathroom!) Whether you are eating before the big game or having a date night with your honey, it's a nice dining experience.

I had the bison meatloaf which was excellent. My friend had tge bison burger which was very good also.. the bison meat has no grizzle and was top quality. Prices are very reasonable.

Was pleasantly surprised. Great foot and good atmosphere. Ordered bison short ribs and bison New York strip. Both were cooked perfectly and priced right. Only negative, sides could have been better, but overall it was great. I would highly recommend!!

Everyone in our party left satisfied. We had bison, beef burgers, steaks, veggies, Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, nachos, onion rings, baked potatoes and fries, and everyone loved it all. The service was great, and the price is nice. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Went there after the swim meet. There were only 4 others in the bar/restaurant. We waited for a while Before we were greeted. It took a long time to get slices or pizza. They said they were training a new person. Pizza was good Service was lacking.

Basically skip it! Started with the homemade chips. These were the part of the meal, sadly. Portion could be larger for sharing for a family of 4. Avalon Burger - Not cooked properly and cold Bison Briskit - The gravy was all over everything on the plate. and it was cold. Ruined everything. The veggies were not steamed either. It was a basically a veggie tray (cold/raw veggies). Steak - Over cooked and again, veggies were raw. Service was awful. To top if off, our table was rickety to say the least. Our waiter even said once after bumping into us, "Man, I thought that thing was going down".

We needed a dinner place in downtown Atlanta that would be OK with two 6-year-olds. We hit the jackpot at Ted's. We got a corner table with no wait. The kid's menus came with Wiki Stix to keep them busy. I tried bison. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was great. The restaurant has a beautiful interior, very elegant. It was actually a relaxing dinner even with two young children. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I appreciate the hospitality from Will and DW for making me feel welcome. They were AWESOME!!! The food and drinks were great!!

Went for dinner and we put out name on the wait list on the website. When getting to the restaurant we were told there were 7 parties ahead of us. Most restaurant waitlists will say how many parties are ahead of you and show the time until seated so you can make a decision to go there. We waited for over an hour and finally got seated and the table was broken. After talking to the manager she didn’t want to do anything about and said “it is what it is”. Her attitude towards customers was atrocious and didn’t even attempt to make us happy. That was also after we told her that our daughter was autistic and doesn’t do well with waiting for a long time. After being seated our table was broken and we were told to either eat at the broken table or wait 20 minutes for another table to open up.

The bison cut is excellent, the Angus steak felt somewhat greasy. Very good wine and excellent seasonal beer prices.

I took my team out to dinner on 10/6/25 and we had outstanding food and excellent service. Low and behold it's 11/5/25 and I lost the itemized receipt for my expenses. No worries, Ted's Manager located and emailed it to me. Talk about great customer service!!!!!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ted’s Montana Grill on Luckie Street! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The rustic charm and comfortable setting created the perfect backdrop for a great meal. We ordered the burgers, and they were nothing short of brilliant—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and every bite was delicious. A huge thank you to Scott for the superb service—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He made sure everything was just right and added to the overall great experience. If you’re looking for top-quality food, a fantastic atmosphere, and excellent service, Ted’s Montana Grill on Luckie Street is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Food was really good. Plenty of options for everyone and prices were not overinflated. Staff was friendly but seemed to have too many tables to handle comfortably. All that said, I would return.

We had a wonderful experience! The Bison was delicious, staff was so friendly and attentive prompt service. We will definitely go back.

Great atmosphere with cozy booths. Service was fast and friendly ! Food was good with adequate portions. Recommend the bison short ribs and brisket!

We were on vacation in Atlanta. I had been to this location before while traveling for work, and it was great. So, I thought to bring my family for a good meal. I didn’t make a reservation so we sat at the bar. It was very busy, and it’s understaffed, so waiting for food is expected. We ordered the nachos for a starter, and our meals. The bartender, I cannot recall his name, took our order and wrote everything down as stated. The nachos did not come out. After 45 minutes my husband asked the bartender to check on them. They then, came out. And, were very good. The only good food of the evening. Next, our meals. My daughter ordered the two small burgers, one beef one bison, with just cheese and nothing else. They came out fully loaded and overcooked. When mentioning this to the other bartender, she blamed it on the male bartender, saying he wrote it down wrong. Which was incorrect, as I watched him write everything down. I ordered the steak salad, with my beef requested medium rare. It was absolutely hammered. Completely overdone. I could hardly eat it. My husband ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and Parmesan broccoli. The mashed potatoes were cold, and the broccoli had no seasoning. At least the filet was cooked normal. The male bartender took my daughters burgers off the bill, and he was courteous and helpful and attentive . But the quality of the food and the amount of time we had to wait was insane. Arrived at 7:45 and left at 9:50. I have never even written a bad review of a restaurant before because I was once a server, but this was totally unacceptable. I understand it was busy, but several people sat at the bar after us, got their food, and left.

we like to eat at Ted's when there is one in the city we are in, we have ate at them in Denver, Indianapolis, Columbus OH, Tallahassee, Bolingbrook, New York City, Nashville and now here in Atlanta. they are all good. our only disappointment here was it is a small location and we had to ask the server to get the pickles which are normally brought to the table when they come get your drinks. other then that the food was like always very good

Great Steaks and service! We were there on New Year’s Eve. Judith took great care of us. The Bison is out of this world. The ambiance felt like Montana.

I had dinner here with my parents on the recommendation of our carriage driver. We weren't disappointed in the food. It was great. I had the BBQ bison burger with brussel sprouts. Both were very good, and I highly recommend them. Our server wasn't the best, however. He wasn't very attentive. He forgot my Mom's salad that came with her meal. He didn't take dishes away when we were finished, and if another server didn't' refill our drinks, we usually had to ask. He did make up for the salad by giving her dessert free to her. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food, and for dessert three of us shared the dessert special that day. It was an apple crisp that was truly delicious. If they have it while you're there make sure to get it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We spotted the "Bison" sign from afar and decided to eat there. Place was buzzin' with guests; Sat. early evening. The wait was 45 min, so instead, we headed to the bar.The bar is first come, first serve.Deshawne, the bar tender, took care of us.The food taste& presentation was excellent! Had no idea this gem was hiding down here. It is a quick walk to the ATL "Eye", the Tabernacle and the Rialto Center.

Six of us dined at Ted’s and it was fantastic. I had the skinny chicken (tender, moist and deliciously seasoned) a house salad and delicious grilled asparagus. Service was great! Would easily revisit!

Finally fresh vegetables! What a top restaurant and top choice. The service is exceptionally good. Best in Atlanta! Fresh ingredients and delicious dish. I was very impressed. Top class!

Food took forever and when arrived to my table was cold, of course they offered to warm it up but we were waiting for longer than usual that we said no

Have been here several times and will be my last trip. The current management has issues. We were quoted a 15 minute wait. After 45 we approached the desk to learn they had crossed our name off the list and hadn’t called us. Manager gave absolutely no apologies. They proceeded to sit us by a makeshift table by the kitchen. We asked for one of the 7 open booths and were told no and they promptly seated the groups behind us in the booths. I discussed with the manager and she couldn’t care less. We were finally moved to a booth and largely ignored from that point forward.

. Nice atmosphere restaurant near Olympic square. We each had a sandwich which was very good. Good priced food and alcohol

Had reservations for 2:00 but wasn't seated until 2:45. Management made no apologies but claimed they were very busy. People who walked in were told 45 minute wait...why make reservations if the wait for walk-ins is the same. Bar was packed so we couldn't even sit and have a drink. Disappointing because food is good.

This was our first restaurant stop as a family during our trip, conveniently located just a short walk from the American Hotel where we were staying. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with classic American décor and captivating paintings that added to the charm of the place. We were fortunate to be served by Aaron, who was prompt, professional, and attentive throughout our meal—truly enhancing our dining experience. Our kids ordered the chicken tenders, which came in generous portions and were a hit. My husband had the bison salad, and I got a taste—absolutely delicious! The dressing was flavorful, and the bison was cooked to perfection. I ordered the bison meatloaf, which was tender and savory. The gravy was rich and divine, and the mashed potatoes and carrots were equally delicious. Overall, this was a fantastic experience for our first night. The service, the setting, and especially the food made it a memorable start to our trip. Highly recommended!

Food was good as expected, but the management and service was a total zero. I had a bison ribeye. It came at right temp and did not disappoint. Took 45 min to get drinks and 55 min to get starter salad. Had to ask manager separately to get a salt shaker with something in it. Second bier never came. Would not recommend to anyone in a hurry or hungry.

Dashawn and Ms. Taylor went out their way to take care of us. It was closing time when me and my wife came in bc the website let me book a reservation for 10pm when they actually closed at ten. The food was great and we was not rushed at all although we did get if to go. Can't wait to go back

Good treatment from the staff and a good place to try the bison burger. The restaurant itself is cozy, typical American. Recommendable

A very good American restaurant. Busy so had to wait but that seems to be the norm in the US. Good fresh and hot burgers with lots of choice. Noisy and bustling but that made it feel good.

Stopped in for lunch and was impressed with the old school interior with its brass and oak Bar and private dining booths. We had the Bison Burger with Onion Rings and a Black and Blue Steak Salad. The burger was very good and the onion rings were hot, huge and delicious. My salad was a little less impressive but still good. I would have like the steak to be chopped as it was hard to cut in the bowl and my onion straws were not very warm. We were sat right across from the open kitchen which was interesting but also noisy. We would definitely return.

Ihave been going to Ted Montana Grill for 8 years. I can honestly say that the staff there is the most amazing group of people I have ever encountered over almost a decade! There are many definitions of “home.” Goling there every year, 4 or 5 times for the apparel show in Atlanta is one of the most warm and comforting and caring experiences I have ever had. CJ and DW and the whole staff who has been there for so long…..make me feel like I am “HOME.” This is especially heart warming after losing my home in Hurricane Helene!! Thank you, thank you! The food is wonderful and the staff is beyond words!!! I love them all!! This will always be my home away from home! Caty Carlin

I waited 1-1/2 hour for a take out order that I called in. Somehow my order never went in. It’s all fun and games until the grill goes out. What??? Ted’s Montana GRILL goes out??? Anyway. Two people were served at the bar what I had ordered previously. I felt I was totally discriminated against. After another 20 minutes I got comped a burger. I demanded to see the manager but he never came out. What a coward. I will never go back. I was a good customer, too, I live just across the street… always took guests there… no more. The staff need lessons in Customer priorities.

I loved the wooden booths in this place. They are very private and romantic. I had the Avalon Burger, which was heavenly. There was a long wait but that is expected on New Year’s Eve. Maybe next time I will be more adventurous and order the bison burger.

Very disappointed with this experience at Ted’s. Made reservations a week in advance and had to make them in the late afternoon since they were booked all night. Also let them know we were celebrating an anniversary as they asked on the reservation. Showed up five minutes before our reservation time and had to wait for the hostess (know businesses are short handed so we were patient). Ted’s has the wall lined with semi-private booths that we expected to be seated in. We were walked back to a table in the middle of the room, right next to the bathrooms. I asked to be moved somewhere else and she told us that they were still working on clearing tables (some booths were empty and all the tables were empty). When she showed us to our new table, it was next to the kitchen. We just took it so we could eat. Our waitress was nice but we noticed that as other groups of people came in after us, they were all sat at booths. We were the only group at a table and felt slighted. It was very disappointing as we were on vacation and trying to enjoy our meal but the waitstaff all had to keep coming by us and we could see in the kitchen entrance. They also never acknowledged our anniversary. So the food is good but don’t expect an atmosphere to go along with it if you’re going for a special occasion.

The restaurant was busy, but we got right in without reservations. We had a couple of appetizers and side items. The nachos and sliders were both very good! We had Jennifer as our server and she was excellent.

We had a wonderful dinner amongst friends with the help of a great staff and great food! actually too much food! To top it off we actually had the pleasure of seeing Ted! WoW what a night! and don't foget to finish your evening with the apple crumble ... it's meant to be shared.

We were a large group and I would think the organizer called ahead, but not certain. We had to wait for tables to be set up. Got seated about 7:30. Only 1 waitress had both tables. Got drink orders and food orders taken in a timely manner but didn’t get our food until 9pm. Waitress was working very hard but said there was only 1 cook. I had almost finished eating by the time my husband got his meal and others ar our table got their food even later. Food was ok, but not worth the wait. If you have a large group, call ahead and go early.

I went in about 9:30 pm to get a single, take out item. I was sent to the bartender, Victoria, to place the takeout order. She seemed irritated that I was bothering her, but took my simple order, which she said should be ready quickly “ five minutes or so”. I paid and waited, and waited. My receipt had the time on it. After 15 minutes of waiting in a visible location, during which Victoria never acknowledged me or appeared to never check on my order, I approached her and asked about it. She glared and walked away as if to check on my food. She seemed to be trying to “ act busy” at the far end of the bar, never returning with my order or to tell me anything. Frankly, I could not believe her inconsiderate, inappropriate behavior. I had not done anything to offend her; just ordered one item. Another 10+ minutes passed, with Victoria still visible at the far end of the bar. I was about to ask for the manager, but did not want to “ make a fuss”. Finally at about the 28 minute mark, another lady behind the bar, approached and asked if she could help me. I explained that I had been waiting about half an hour and showed her my receipt. She apologized, and rushed off quickly. Within 3-4 minutes a man appeared with my take out order. What’s Victoria’s problem? People with her attitude should not be in customer service positions.

Everyone in our group loved the burger. One did have a chicken sandwich, sadly. No complaints. I did have a local beer that was okay. The atmosphere was good. My burger was excellent, and it ranks in the top 10 of burgers I have had.

Awesome as always, went earlier than usual this time and walked right in. Love this place. We go everytime we are in Atlanta. sometimes twice.

This was my second experience at Ted's Montana Grill and the first here in Atlanta and I have to admit the 2 hour wait left me doubting the experience was going to be a good experience. Overall, I could not have been more wrong on this pre-judgement. While waiting for our table regrettably we had a 2 hour wait outside in Atlanta's afternoon heat and humidity as well as the city's local homeless population. There were a couple of nuisance moments when the patrons who were waiting were being heckled by a loud individual. This was not much of a nuisance compared to what it could have been considering the surrounding area. While waiting one of the dining companions and myself ventured inside to locate the ladies room, HUGE disappointment. Although I have to provide a little forgiveness due to the busi-ness of the evening, some of the concerns raised huge hesitations in our dining choice. There were no soap in the ladies room and considering our current world environment you'd think this would be a top priority. The one ladies stall I used had no lock to secure the door. This is alarming as well. Once seated at our table we were immediately greeted by our waitress, Judith. WHAT A BONUS TO OUR DINING EXPERIENCE!!!! In my honest opinion, she made our evening both worth the wait and overly satisfying!!! Judith is absolutely an asset to the team of Ted's. Her knowledge of the menu items, her desire to make the customer experience the best you can have, and her true attentive nature completes the entire experience of the evening. I will note, if she warns you about menu choices and / or serving sizes, you better listen. Our eyes were absolutely bigger than our stomachs! We were starving by the time we sat down and by the time we left we were without a doubt 100% satisfied and filled to extremes. Thank goodness for the walk back to our hotel. Now let me not forget to mention our meals. As a starter Onion Rings and the Delictable Duo and opted for Bison Sliders over Beef. The onion rings were out of this world delicious. Even my husband, who detests onions in any way indulged on many of the rings and raved and raved about the horseradish dipping sauce that accompanied them. The Bison Sliders were a moist surprise over the Beef after expecting them to be a little more on the dry side. What a pleasant surprise. One dining mates Delmonico Ribeye was cooked to perfection and flavored extraordinarily well, paired perfectly with the roasted parmesean broccoli and accompanied by a glass of the Napa Valley Oberon. Another dining companion chose to dine on the Bison Short Ribs accompanied with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. If you are one that devours sweet candied carrots, I'd suggest an alternative. These carrots might leave the stomach desiring more, served a little on the al dente side and not sweet as some desire. The Bison Short Ribs were tender to perfection, rendered with a succulent sauce creating a delectable gravy which enhanced the accompanied garlic mashed potatoes. The other two of our party decided to dine on the Brick Chicken paired with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Brocolli with parmesean. Let me warn you, if this is your dining choice, keep the starters to a minimum. This proportion is huge!! 2 generous sized boneless chicken breast are seasoned and prepared to perfection. Tender and moist are an understatement. Two of our guests decided to share a Wedge Salad with the Ranch Dressing as part of their meal choice. Surprisingly a wedge is the perfect entrance to a meal that is going to please the palette. The dressing was a creamy and evenly seasoned ranch that one could certainly be convinced was created in the kitchen earlier in the day. If it was a commercial brand, I'd really like to know the label to keep in my own home. The guys added to the spirit of the evening by experimenting with a new cocktail to them, the Buffalo 41. Another pleasant surprise, especially for one party who has a complete aversion to Bourbon. The color lends to a soft side of an otherwise mature blend of Bourbon, Grand Gala, fresh squeezed lemonade and Wild Berry. The mixture will not disappoint. And the Cranbery Gimmlet is a serving of sass in a glass! Guaranteed to leave the most bitter soul dancing in the seat with a smile after tasting the bartenders treat. A huge round of applause to the bartender that was serving up blends this evening. Regrettably we could not even lend to the idea of dessert this evening. The meal left us so overly satisfied there was simply no room. Next time may I suggest we start with dessert. Afterall, life without dessert leaves one always a little sad right. Without hesitation I would highly recommend visiting Ted's Montanta Grill if in the downtown Atlanta area. Even with the extreme wait, it's absolutely worth every hot summer minute. And be sure to ask for Judith. I assure your evening with be even more complete and satisfying.

This location is within walking distance from the aquarium/world of coke area so it makes a nice day trip. Excellent burgers/bison. The homemade pickles they serve are amazing! Friendly service.

We were in town for a concert and staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Cone St. This restaurant is right around the corner, so very convenient. Both nights we had the large salad with either salmon and chicken. We also had the cod sandwich. All very good. Service is excellent. They serve mixed drinks at the inside bar. Prices were fair depending on what you order. We were able to make reservations for the second time for dinner, as we realized how popular this place is. Go early!!

We went to Ted's Montana Grill on Sunday at 11am. We has SAM as a waiter, he was the best. he kept bringing us fresh drinks and talked to us about a few things. She always has a smile on his face when he came to check on us. The food was really good too. We decided to go back on Monday and asked for Sam again. If you want good service ask for Sam. The food will be good. And I'm glad they were open lots of there places were closed.

Booked a table for 7.30, still waiting to be seated at 8.15 in very crowded entrance. Just been informed another 25 minute wait.

Enjoyed our meal. I expected something a little differs but it was still good. We ordered the ribeye and Caesar salad entrees. Salad was just how I like it. Fresh, crisp and great Caesar dressing with real shaved Parmesan on top. The ribeye was the strange thing. Flavor was excellent. Cut was weird. It looked more like something I would cook up at home in a frying pan. It wasn’t tough but also not super tender. Again, like something I would cook, not a professional chef. I guess I just expected more from a place with their reputation. Overall we were okay and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because our server was perfect and attentive.

Great location, nice atmosphere, good food and drink, reasonable prices. I'm glad that we found this place and I wish that we have one closer to where I live.

This place is a joke , hostess went on break and let the lobby fill up to over 20 of us waiting on a table. Then she went and broke down tables before taking our name. Then said it will be a longer wait because the kitchen needed to catch up.

Dropped in to Ted's for a quick dinner before a show at the Tabernacle, as it right across the street. It was my first visit and it didn't disappoint. The servers were friendly and my waiter Mason was first class and very professional. They give you plenty of time to look at the menu, and don't rush you, but once the order is placed the food comes out quickly. Attentive but not obtrusive service, which many other restaurants find oh so very hard to do nowadays. They have really good music playing here - just the right volume so you can have a conversation without shouting. Great clean restrooms and a large menu which I will be coming back to try more of soon. I had the bacon cheeseburger this time and it was huge, and although it's a $17 burger it doesn't feel like a rip off at that price. Ted's was busy but not overfull and has a nice friendly atmosphere - and my #1 mention here has to be their large Gluten Free menu which the servers know all about and are happy to offer GF options to their customers - so many restaurants make it a big chore to offer GF meals, but not here. Great location for pre-event meals for the Tabernacle, State Farm Arena, Mercedes Benz stadium and all the downtown attractions too.

Wasn’t served properly and waited so long for food to come. Didn’t follow exactly what I wanted in my order. I was served a drink and it was tasty and perfect. But the entree of short rib bison and sides of kale salad and broccoli wasn’t and being overcooked and not enough portion given for the price I paid. Salad wasn’t good but didn’t listen to my request to put dressing on the side. I never being thanked and not give a proper apology for the poor service and the treatment being done to me. I witnessed that other server or the manager using naked hands - not use gloves or wash hands to move or handle food before serving to other customers. That’s totally disgusting and unacceptable and unsanitary. Worst restaurant I ever visited for this type of chain, Ted’s Montana Grill. I never had any problems at other locations of Ted’s Montana Grill in NYC and in Chicago. What a disaster for two different worlds in this country of USA. Blue states and Red states and the hospitality are so different and unfriendly.

I went with to Ted’s Montana Grill with my wife and 2 friends and after much hesitation we bit the bullet and went in. We are staying near the restaurant and decided to give it a try; It was excellent! Our waiter Magellan was great and my beef bacon cheeseburger was amazing! I had as my side onion rings and they were great. They stated us off with some dill pickles that were spot on. There is absolutely nothing that I would do any differently and as an added bonus Ted Turner himself had just eaten there and has a living space upstairs which is not a bad added benefit, you may just see the man who owned approximately 2 million acres of land!! If you ask your waiter they all have Ted Turner stories and are happy to share. This place exceeded my expectations and highly recommend it to anyone looking to eat in the Centennial Park area.

Our favorite place for dinner date night in the city!! Teds bison filet is a must along with the bison chili! Everything on the menu is amazing If you enjoy an adult beverage make sure you sit at the bar with Dayshawn mixing up your favorites along with Taylor!!

Very tasty food. The service was great. Busy place as we went on a Friday afternoon but worth the few minutes that we had to wait. There were a large number of people waiting for a table when we left although there were empty tables inside. I suspect they were experiencing a staff shortage.

The food was delicious. Perfectly cooked steak. I only wish that I had ordered the wedge salad as an appetizer as it did take a while for the entrees to come out.

We stay at a nearby hotel to see shows at The Tabernacle and State Farm Arena. We like to stop in here to eat when we come to town and stay downtown. Good burgers, salads, salmon. "Quick pickles" are a must.

I had the Avalon Burger which was very good. The staff was friendly and attentitve. The Arnold Palmer was delicious. I highly recommend their onion rings as a side dish or part of the main entree. The booths were more private and very roomy. The tables are in the back and seem to be more placed in a more crowded area. We made a reservation and were immediately seated.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly good, we rarely saw our waiter, and the same was true of the table next to us, even though it wasn't that busy! He brought the wrong drink and we had to wait a long time before we could complain and get the right drink. The food also took an extremely long time. The Mac&Chesse for a child was more like a soup, very runny! It would have tasted good if it had been warm!!! Since I work in the catering industry myself, I have to say it could definitely be better!

We went here to eat the wait time was not long we all had the steak. They were absolutely fabulous my husband got the Delmonico one of the kids got a bison burger there was something for everyone on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my New York strip. My daughter had the filet mignon.

What a great experience. Yes, the food was as good as usual, but it is very clear that the entire team is fighting an uphill battle versus the understaffing that comes from free government $$. The team busted their tails, and we appreciate it.

We are smashed burger and bison new york strip. It was amazing. Also uou should try onion rings. Also french fries was good. Service was Fast. You should try this restaurant when you are in town. 👍👍👍👍

My 10 yr old and I were out exploring Atlanta and came across this gem. There is tons of seating inside, as well as a bar to sit at. The hostess was friendly and our server was AMAZING! The tomato soup we started with was great! My son got a burger and I got a bison burger minus the bun - both were AMAZING! The kale salad that came on the side of my bison burger was to die for. I could eat it every day!

We really enjoyed visiting tjis restaurant while on our business trip to Atlanta. It’s right downtown and convenient to where we were working! The food was delicious. I had the Bison Meatloaf and it was amazing!!! I would definitely eat that again! Don’t miss trying this place!!!

Food was just ok but the real disappointment was the terrible service. We made a reservation, two weeks prior, for 7:30 pm on 1/19/24. We arrived and checked In at 7:15. At 7:40 we asked about the status and were told we were 5th I. Line to be seated. Asked again at 8:00 and were told we were 2nd in line. At 8:15 asked and were told we were 5th in line. We were finally seated at 8:45. Wait person forgot a wine order, an appetizer and never once refilled water or soft drink. We were there for the atlanta market. hotel restaurant closed at 9:00 or we would've left and eaten there. All I ask is that I'm treated fairly. Several groups were seated before us that had reservations at 8:00. I really was excited about eating there and had heard good things about it but I will never try them again or recommend them to anyone. We go to atlanta 6 times a year. It could have been better if the hostess station wasn't being ran by two very young girls and a young man who could care less about anything service related. To me, Ted is dead.

Could not convince my father to go to a higher priced steakhouse and I'm glad we didn't. The food was excellent, my fathers filet was cooked exactly as he wanted, his martini was perfect. Only issue was they ran out of brown gravy for my meatloaf, but the red gravy was just as good !! This was our "high-end" dinner on our trip and it was definitely worth it !!

We decided to check this out and had a "linner" at Ted's. We kept it simple instead of steak or other entrees. My spouse got the green and hot burger with fries and I got the Red Rock Chicken sandwich with onion rings. We split the sandwiches to each get half. Both were excellent. The onion rings were also very good. Finally, my spouse got a huckleberry margarita and said it was also very good. We didn't realize it was a chain, but would go again if we run across another one.

Nice establishment tables spread out where you don't bump them. Decor matches with name rustic but nicely done. Waitress Jenny very slow not attentive to her tables. Took our order at 11:10am never came back at 45 minutes from our placing order my colleague asked about why tables that were seated after us already had their food and we still did not. She rambled on stating only one person working in kitchen she then got an attitude which infuriated my co worker. Instead of just saying I'm sorry for the delay it will be out shortly she ranted. Manager came out explaining the wait which was fine. No excuses no attitude. He even took a discount on our separate checks. Food flavor was very good served hot and tasty. Most of wait staff were smiling and chatting just not ours Jenny. It's on corner easily accessible and plenty of seating with bar if you want a drink

Waited an hour to be seated, wasn’t greeted for an additional 15 minutes, drinks stayed empty majority of meal (server said dishes were back up), onion appetizer came out cold, salmon was small and burnt (server joked she had to ensure she wrote our ticket for the larger size when she saw it), husband and daughter’s steaks were cold, several to-go containers, but had to ask walking out for a bag to carry. Gave 2 stars b/c the shrimp appetizer was great. Wouldn’t have minded price ($$$) or parking ($20) if meal had been pleasant. Won’t be back.

If you love to eat things made from bison, this is the restaurant for you. Our server was a little bit absent minded at times, but over all the service was good. My bison burger was sheer perfection. If you are the apple pecan crisp for dessert, which I highly recommend, beware the serving is big enough for two or three people.

So this restaurant serves Bison among other things. Everything was delicious. Make sure to leave room for dessert! Cleanliness, great service, wonderful food...perfect experience! I would highly recommend

Very friendly staff, very busy, as the food is excellent, & unlike Pitty Pats, Ted's does not sneakily include a tip in their bills!! Great steaks, burgers, & atmosphere.

Location is great! We walked there from our hotel. My husband had the bison burger, which he loved. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun. The bun was cold & the chicken wasn’t very hot. We have eaten at other Ted’s where the food is always piping hot & fresh. Just felt the food was okay.

Service, while friendly, was terribly slow. 45 minutes to receive our burgers. It wasn’t busy. Food was good as always. Love the new pickles and bison burgers.

Delicious, feel-good food. Cozy atmosphere, dark wood, booths. I had bison nachos and my husband had a Bison burger. Both were great. Very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive waitress. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Bison steak. Cuisson is perfect! Fries and asparagus are fine. Absolutely recommended for every meat lover. Be careful, can be busy!

Great food at a reasonable price. Steakhouses often charge exorbitant prices for a good cut of beef, or buffalo. The Montana Grill has great food, great service, great atmosphere at a reasonable price

Great lunch or dinner spot. Great service with good quality food. We had the lunch special - chicken fried chicken- which was very good. Our waiter was on top of it. Several other things on the menu for next time.

The good: Our waitress Tadisha was amazing and super sweet. The food was super yummy, and they did a flawless job cooking the meat. Their sangria was surprising good. The bad: The onion rings were extra greasy so I didn't care for them. The ugly: We had a large group so we called ahead to make a reservation but the manager said they were not taking reservations. When we got there, we were placed in different tables. When we asked the manager if we could all sit in the large group area, the manager said that the area was for people with reservations...

Burgers where good, beef was a bit too well done. But the service was bad and on the check they charged us for two extra beers that we did not order and instead of beef burgers as we ordered they charged for bison meet (4usd extra /burger) Complained on the check so they removed the extra beers but not the burgers.

had reservation for 6:30 got there and we were told table would be ready in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later were told forgot us and they seated us at table next to kitchen, waitress moved us to a booth when my wife complained, after that service was superb, meals were excellent i had the bison short ribs my wife had the cobb salad will return anytime, we believe the young man at the host was not trained for his job

Every time we visit Atlanta we come here for their Bison, the service is excellent, just make sure you have time since food is freshly made and takes a little longer.

Not quite what you would expect The rest is full, the Caesar salad is not classic, but if you accept the noise from the grill it is not so bad Not first quality but the bison meat is perfectly stored and tastes perfect

First, the food was very good, and very convenient to many hotels to walk to. We ordered take out and it took an hour, now, they were very busy, but we did order online with a 8:30 pick up time and it was handed to us an hour later. The place is a nice upscale bar and restaurant that is very nice on the inside. Like I said, the food was really good just expect much longer on busy nights.

Let's start with the drinks (as you should). Ted's makes the perfect dirty martini with blue-cheese olives where the ice crystals on top shimmer for effect. The margarita my date ordered brought smiles to her as well. Nachos were very good (kinda hard to mess that one up). Bison short ribs were absolutely fall-off-the-bone delicious. Only regret is that I didn't catch the name of our server. She took great care of us and checked in on us in a very timely non-obtrusive manner. We'll be back soon. Thanks again for a pleasant experience.

As soon was my girlfriend and I walked through the door our waiter, Aaron, greeted us and sat us right away. We were sat in a nice quiet corner with great lighting and comfy booths. He took our drink/appetizer orders and delivered them promptly as well as bringing complementary pickles. We ordered the crab cake as our appetizer which was delicious but was maybe a little expensive for the portion size. We then ordered our main courses. Aaron recommended the Avalon burger which my girlfriend had and I ordered the Green and Hot burger, both with bison. They were both amazing and very large. The sides were great as well. My girlfriend got the parmesan broccoli which was massive and I had the garlic mashed potatoes which was great. Overall a 9.8/10 experience and I will definitely be coming back.

We were there for a concert across the street at the Tabernacle. Two of us arrived extra early since we traveled so far. It was a great place to kill time while we enjoyed tasty appetizers and crafted cocktails. The place was busy but we felt comfortable in our cozy booth. Add to that, I left my jacket behind. The staff found it and the ever-so-kind Will arranged to send it to me. Talk about excellent customer service! This is the second time we have enjoyed a pre-concert meal at Ted's Montana Grill on Luckie Street and it won't be the last. :D

The food was fair but the wait and nonsense we went through was inexcusable. The drinks were expensive and not worth it. Awful

The hostess was terrible when we checked in on New Year’s Day. She couldn’t even remember our name or time of reservation. We were seated LATE and she just plopped the menus and didn’t even acknowledge us. The waiter made up for her rudeness. Great waiter! Good food. But , like I was taught … first impressions often set the tone

Contrary to what I expected, the food here is very average in taste. The prices were high. I paid $45 for a Bison Delmonico Strip steak with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Squash Souffle. My friend's Bison Burger was $17 and came with thick-cut fries. I cannot emphasize that I expected SO much more from the entree here. I mean, this is Ted Turner's restaurant chain. But, the Bison steak just tasted so basic - no special seasoning and basically tasted just like a steak from the meat section at Walmart. The garlic potatoes were okay. Nothing special. The squash casserole was made with older and larger squash. This is easy to determine since the squash rinds were a vivid orange-yellow. Squash destined for casseroles should be pale yellow and tender. So, my casserole had some unfortunate tough squash pieces mixed in with the proper squash. My friend said that his burger was just like any other burger he had ever eaten. Nothing special. The absolute bright spot of the night was the waitstaff. After our server had left with our order, another server stopped by our table and asked if we had been served. Very rare that this happens, even in the best restaurants. We were both surprised at the attentiveness to customer needs. The food came out pretty quickly. Before the food arrived, all condiments were brought to the table - steak sauce, ketchup, and mayonnaise. The server took a bit too long to get the check to us. Our meal cost, with the tip, around $90. The food is just mehhh. Not worth another visit.

Randomly came across Ted's so stopped in. Sat at the bar and had great and friendly service. Drinks and food very tasty. A little on the spendy side but worth it.

I had the bison burger with grilled onions and blue cheese. Well prepared and tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Only downside was that after I was seated at a comfortable booth and had my food they sat a large and noisy party at tables right next to me. Certainly impacted my dining experience.

This is Ted Turner's place, located right below one of his first residences in downtown Atlanta. It's in a historical district, very close to all of the downtown sites like the football stadium and basketball arena, and also the convention center. The food was beyond outstanding, and the service was even better. I was in Atlanta on business, and my colleagues and I ate here 3 times during our weeklong stay. All I can say was it was the most enjoyable restaurant experience I've had in years! Craig, the proprietor, remembered us each time we came back and took extra good care of us. Servers Scott and Judith were beyond awesome. The food, drinks and overall value were unmatched. I would most definitely go back if and when I visit downtown Atlanta again!

The service at this place is just bad. They server did not like to take care of customer. I had to order things multiple times to get them. Never got my second beer but of course it was on the check. The server never apologized.

My colleagues and I went to Ted's for dinner while we were attending a conference nearby. We all enjoyed our meal so much we decided to go back the next day for lunch and then again for dinner and yet another night for dinner. hahaha. The bison ribeye, burgers and bison nachos are amazing! The service was great. Brittney waited on us twice and she is friendly and attentive. I'd recommend you visit if you are hungry and in the area.

The wait was long when we arrived (45 min) at 7:30pm so we opted to eat at the bar. Great choice as the bartender was awesome , friendly and very efficient balancing drink orders with folks like us eating at the bar. The fried chicken sandwich was awesome and fries tasty. My husband had Crab cakes, mashed potatoes and broccoli and he enjoyed them. We had been to a Teds in Denver a few years ago and this one did not disappoint.

Last visit a week ago was great today is a miss. Over cooked the bison again. The steak was wedge shaped one end well done the other was medium at best. I really wanted this place to have some consistency. It does not.

We walked from our hotel to Ted's. We made a reservation before we walked to the Celine Dion concert. It was a short wait and we had a WONDERFUL waitress. Our food was delicious and the dessert even better. I will definitely go back when we are in downtown Atlanta. It had a great atmosphere too.

After a long day, I was interested in a cold beer and a burger. Ted’s was super busy and I could only get a seat at the bar. Not a problem. The wait staff were super attentive and happy to serve. Plenty of beer on tap and a great burger, done right. Bison is the way to go!

We went on a Wednesday night. Staff got us seated quickly, food ordered, and served quickly as well. Food was great, I had a Bison Burger. The price for a high tourist area was less than expected. Nice place to relax with friends, family or date. I would recommend if in the area.

Great food and excellent service. Good location near Centennial Olympic Park and several downtown hotels, the Hampton Inn and the American.

The food was amazing! Bison steaks were perfect and you could tell all the food was fresh and not frozen. COVID practices were in place and the staff was amazing. Would definitely recommend!
Good food reasonable price
There are not many proper restaurants around that area. The food is good with reasonable price. You may want to make reservations beforehand if there is an event in dinner.
