I am traveling around the world very often and also happen to live in Israel for a few years. This place is in par with the best Israeli food restaurant but located in Los Angeles . Their falafel sandwich is the best you can find in the West cost, if you after meat you can not go wrong with there Lafa Shawarma. Line is long at pick hours but it worth to wait for a great Israeli food in LA

If your not on the hunt for a kosher restaurant in the Valley you will likely never find this gem hidden inside an Israeli grocery store in beautiful Reseda, California. I just had lunch there for the second time -- this is clearly a lunch or to go place -- and the food was fantastic...again. The guys that run the place are very friendly, whether or not you speak Hebrew. You need not be a fan of Kosher food to love this place. I recommend the shawarma, but everything I've tried was good and everything I've seen looks good. They make the wraps to order in fresh baked pita or laffa. Try this mango sauce in your wrap! Try the roasted eggplant on the side if you are looking to skip the fries. The place is clean but does get crowded at lunch time. Seating is somewhat limited but boy is it tasty.

Perhaps the best Mediterranean/Israel cuisine in LA! I feel like I'm smack dab in the middle of Jerusalem when dining here as you can't get any more authentic of a menu, taste and experience. I absolutely love their Schwarma! Quick and easy in & out and a really full meal no matter what you order. Enjoy!

Amazing food, very good service, very quick, clean! I definitely recommend this restaurant, thank you!

Delivered what they promised... Thanks and Best wishes from Strugano & Co Azrieli Towers, Round Tower, 19th Floor Menachem Begin Blvd Tel Aviv, 6701101 Israel An International Law Firm

Really good I chose a steak pita and you select what you want them to put inside. It is a huge pita and about 20 choices also served with eggplant and French fries. You order st the counter and they have a display where they prepare it in front of you. I like the atmosphere

I do not really care about Glatt Kosher but I do care a lot about excellent food, a clean restaurant, quick service, and value. We are in LA three times a year and this place is a highlight of our trip. I am thrilled they have opened a third restaurant in Woodland Hills on the Calabasas line. This restaurant has great Israeli food. The twice cooked eggplant is sensational

Awful rotten food. The staff were rude and standoffish and i felt very uncomfortable. The food looks like it was made a week ago

If you like Middle Eastern food, you found the place. Shawarma, Falafel, Humus, Liver and so much more. Thee are very generous with any salad you like. Remind me of the old country.

This is on Ventura in Encino...busy, happening, authentic Israeli casual dining...way too much food...delicious, friendly, and a good dinner...had chicken thigh plate with a zillion fixings, hummus, salads, fries, pita, eggplant, olives...yummy!

This is inside the Kosher Bazaar Market; Maybe 4 tables Order at counter from 2 friendly guys. Food consists of 8 items in either pita. laffa or on a plate with fries Laffa is a great big pita about 4 times the size of normal pita. Prices range from $6.95 for Falafel in a pita to $12.95 for an of the plates. Order Shawarma on pita and Falafel on Laffa just to try it out. Flavors were terrific and laffa was big enough for 2. Fillings were plentiful with free toppings to suit my taste. You could have spice, hummus, veggies tahini onions and some purple veggie added to make up your dish. Would recommend and will return. I am not reviewing the market! If you buy things from the market check the expiration dates!

We tried the new location on Ventura Blvd and have been back here now 3 times! The food is as authentic as it can get - tastes like Tel Aviv. Love the Falafel and all the Meats! The service is the only thing that is not authentic as the people are really nice and attentive :-) Just kidding! You have to try this place if you like middle eastern food!

Love this place...walk in and choose a dish, then proceed to to a counter lined with a medley of sides, salad, etc.. a generous plate will then be constructed with your instruction. Everything is fresh and exceptionally good.

What's not to like? - great food, well priced, big portions, and a friendly, noisy, Israeli vibe. A great find on our trip to LA.

NOTE that TripAdvisor lists their old address of 6846 Reseda Blvd. They moved in summer 2015 to 19014 Ventura Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91356 Everything here tastes like it does in Tel Aviv! Tel Aviv Grill moved to this strip mall location in late summer 2015. I had never been but had been told that they do it like in Israel, and indeed they do. The servers behind the counter exude lots of good natured personality and the food tastes great (we had their juicy falafel, their wonderfully spiced chicken shawarma, and a schnitzel pita sandwich).

We love Tel Aviv so much that it has become our family go-to restaurant. The food is absolutely fantastic and they give you extra of anything you ask for. We always get falafel plates, kabobs, or shwarma in laffa and then pile on the french fries and salads. Definitely try their skug if you like spicy food and their garlic sauce is great. Sometimes they make a salad using all of the salads available, which is also fantastic. For kosher food, the price isn't too bad. The ambience makes us feel like we are back in Israel - it's like a taste of home. We keep coming back! This place is truly fantastic. Give it a try, for sure.

Everytime I'm in town this is one of my must stops! Really huge portions and excellent food, truly authentic Israeli/middle eastern cuisine. Make sure you try teh Shwarma!

I really don't have much experience with Israeli/Mediterranean food, so I didn't know what to expect. Oh my, it was delicious! I had the frog legs, deep fried without any breading or batter, and bathed in garlic butter! Yum! I just wish I lived there (I live in AZ) so I could go back and try just about everything on the menu! My only negative comment is that once we ordered, it took quite awhile to get our food, and it did not come out all together.

Really liked the food, the hummus and the falafel are delicious, and the price is fair. I would definitely go back there next time I'm in the city

If you crave Tehini or Humus with Shawerma or Skewed meets from Israel or Lebanon or even Egypt, you're definitely at home here. The portions are huge and quick to serve. The lines are long but the kitchen pumps out the food faster that the line. Prices are a little higher that fast food but remember this place is Glatt Kosher on top of everything. Don't forget the Falafel and it helps if you say Toda Raba (thank you).
Solid choice for kosher (meat) in the Valley
We stayed in Glendale so getting to the N Hollywood branch of this small chain was easy. We were a bit nervous upon arrival as the restaurant was not crowded. We were there on a Tuesday night so we didn't think it would be packed but we did not expect it to be empty either. In any case, we ordered our food and sat down. Nice Israeli meat menu. Reasonable prices. We had chicken breast/ pita ($12.99), falafel/ laffa ($10.99) and chicken shawarma/ pita ($12.99). All were tasty and not greasy. Excellent fries. As we were eating, the place became much busier with many dining in and many taking out. Except for us, everyone else seemed to be a local. I definitely recommend Tel Aviv grill if you want Israeli (meat) food and are not looking for a formal sit down restaurant. I will go back. This is a good to eat place if you have children.
