Nice

By Elsa |

This is not a traditional sushi restaurant. It’s “modern” and has a different twist. Go for the happy hour between 4:30-6pm this is a great deal and allows you to try the menu at a decent price. The food is good, and the service is nice but it is pricey.

Great place for a nice date

By Jason C |

Went here while in Austin with another couple. We ordered most of the premium nigiri menu, several of the apps, three of the sushi rolls and one plate and we all shared it family style. Not sure this is how most order, but we wanted to try it all! It was excellent can’t rave enough about the food, and I can truly say we tasted most of what they had on the menu. Great experience!

Our friends in Austin recommended

By LUcurated |

Our friends in Austin recommended this place. We started our meal with a delicious wabi sabi drink, I was hesitant at first to order a drink with wasabi! Glad I did. It was absolutely fantastic. Smooth and not too sweet. We ordered the baby kale and one of the squash dishes. Rich in flavor and well balanced dishes. The sushi was fresh and buttery. I must say there was one dish that knocked it out of the park for us! The king crab leg. We could have this for breakfast , lunch, and dinner. Absolutely worth it. Sad we left Austin but can’t wait to come back, this dish alone is worth the trip. We are obsessed. Oh and the service was great too. Overall a terrific experience. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed Drinks and Appetizers

By CharlieinTexas |

Showed up early for a wedding across the street and so dropped in for a few drinks and some appetizers. Drinks were, well, drinks. They weren’t anything special, but they were fine. I ordered a Moscow mule and prefer it in a copper mug, but it tasted refreshingly good. My octopus appetizer was truly a taste treat nicely done! The salmon sushi looked tasty as well. My wife enjoyed the Wagyu beef tartare.

The UnUchi

The restaurant at this new establishment on the edge of “party land” on West 6th fails to deliver. Decent maki rolls are let down by “grocery store quality” nigiri, tempura batter is not sufficiently light and too greasy, tempura redfish was tasteless and the sugar snap peas in tempura did not have their woody “spines” removed. Prices are high and service is willing but still a little chaotic ( multiple dishes delivered to the wrong table). Poor option given the many others available.

Far better options in the city for the same or lower cost

By GHustad |

Pretty underwhelming for the price. Our server was very nice, but that's about the best thing I have to say. The air con was blowing straight down on our table the whole night, the brought all our food at the same time vs coursing it out, and the food was good not great. Best things were probably the Brussels sprouts and the shishitos, which considering we also got sushi and short ribs isn't a great sign. Far better sushi places in the city for equal or less cost.

False advertising

By Andrea A |

False advertising- so this is my first time dining at TenTen - website said to sign up for email notification and receive $25 off coupon. But after I provided my email and was ready to claim “coupon” a notification came up that “ this offer is no longer available”. Not a good way to start with a new customer!

This place has exceeded all

By reiharmer |

This place has exceeded all my expectations. I love the food, atmosphere, sake, and overall vibe of the place. I’ve already been there five times, and every time it seems to get better and better! I’m so happy Austin finally got another top of the line sushi place. If you feel like splurging, get the dreams come true sake! Another fav is the rosé sake! A few items that I get every time are the charred edamame, hamachi carpaccio, toro nigiri, and the wagyu nigiri! The crab and spicy tuna roll are exceptional. You won’t be disappointed. This is going to be the hottest sushi place in Austin; mark my words! Oh, and the selfie lighting in the bathroom is 10/10!

Friendly staff and exceptional sushi

Sushi that's too good to dip in soy sauce, creative cocktails, and top notch staff! Put this one on your ATX list for sure.

My husband is Japanese - grew up in Japan. So, he's go a really high bar for great Japanese food - he said this is the best sushi in the city!

Highly recommend!

I was thrilled for Austin to open up a new upscale sushi restaurant with a vibe!! I got to check this place out on a double date and was super impressed, my husband and I can't wait to go back! I am not a food connoisseur by ANY means, but I love sushi and always judge a sushi restaurant on the basics of their nigiri/sashimi and it was perfection!! There were so many other absolutely delicious things - I can't remember the names of because we ordered quite a few things and all shared - which I highly recommend so you can taste all the unique dishes. The staff was friendly and not stuffy, I loved the ambiance, it was a perfect double date spot!

10/10 Excellent!

Foodie family all 5 out of 5 of us LOVED our dinner at TenTen! We visited on 12/21/25 after attending an event in town. We were seated at a very cosy booth next to the kitchen. We tried several dishes and everything was perfection. Service was great, and the manager stopped by twice to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. One of my sons is a chef, enjoys raw food, doesn't eat seed oils and I was surprised when he found this place for us that met his criteria. All of us were blown away by the quality, flavors, presentation, and service. Good value for the quality. We will definitely return when we are in town.

Our anniversary dinner June 2024

By J E |

We ate here for our 15th wedding anniversary on June 6, 2024. We wanted something different but also sushi, and this fit the bill. We had an early reservation and sat at a table between two large workgroups. We asked if we could be moved to one of the booths, and since it was a slow night, they could accommodate us. That was very kind of the host. We got two glasses of bubbles to celebrate our anniversary, which is another kind gesture. Overall, it was a good experience. Janna was our server and she was very nice. I got the Lychee martini and enjoyed it. Our favorite Maki was the Chirashi and the Scallop. The BBQ Toro Mak was our least favorite. The Spicy Tuna Maki was too hot for me, but my husband enjoyed it. The Salmon Maki was lovely but not as great as the Chirash. Be sure to do the cucumber and not the rice wrap. We also ordered the Premium Sashimi 18 pc. It was unique flavors, but I don't know if we would order again. Not there is not valet parking. Be prepared to find a lot or street parking. Overall a nice experience for a rare night out for us. I don't think it is some place we could come regularly but would come back.
