This is a cozy little stop for breakfast & sandwiches. One waitress does it all, but the food is worth the wait. Limited seating, indoors & out.

Strolled around the neighbourhood to find a coffee. Bumped into this place to try the coffee. Have only what they called French press coffee which is not for a European coffee espresso geek. No problem, buy the espresso next door and come back, was their friendly reply! Ordered a scrambled egg with spinach, bacon and some Gorgonzola. Comes with a fruit ball totally exquisite. I was offered a home made cake while I waited for my breakfast, turned it down for health reason. Couple next to me got it, made me drool. A must for breakfast if you're on a walkabout.

This place is unbelievable I wish they had this down town we had our family over and I had the omelet and I was to die for. My dad had the Caesar salad and so did my uncle and my mom had panini and she loved it and then my sister had eggs and bacon and she wants seconds. We had a lovely time at this place I would come here over and over agin.

Whilst staying in Queen Anne we happened upon this delightful spot for Sunday breakfast. The food was great and despite our good intentions toward healthy eating I was bewitched by a tremendous warm coffee cake with extra butteryness and saltness. The place was busy and service moved appropriately for a lazy Sunday morning but it was worth every minute of anticipation.

The food here is excellent. I love the Carolita scramble. Haven't had anything that wasn't good, though.

My business associate in Seattle recommended this spot. High on the hill in Queen Anne, it's a bit out of the way from downtown but it's worth the trip. The omelette was perfect and the service was bang on. Operated by a single cook/server/comedian the lady proprietor is a local treasure.

My husband and I found this cute cafe, from reading trip advisor, on our way to Discovery Park from downtown Seattle. My husband got a breakfast special which he liked but I was in the mood for a sandwich. They were more than willing to add a fried egg to my club sandwich which was delicious. The bread was fresh and organic and the ratio of lettuce tomato and turkey was just right. It tasted "homemade". I would be a regular if I lived in Seattle.

We have now moved to Seattle and settled in. So we decided to return to the first place we ate while house hunting. Just as amazing as the first time! We ended up having the specials again. One of the best breakfasts I have ever had!! We will be back again and again!

If you're looking for a locals brunch place - this place is it. Delicious coffee, fresh food and veggies, and of course, lots of people/dog watching. They are only open for breakfast and lunch with limited outdoor seating.

Went here for a late afternoon breakfast a while back and found the price very good and quality high. Staff were welcoming and service was quick. Great place!

We visited in a quiet holiday weekday. The restaurant/store is cozy and inviting. We imbibed generous 6.00 Mimosa's, had coffee cake, and the Greek scramble. We'd happily return.

My cousin, aunt and I ate here a few times during my trip, and I have to say it is one of the best breakfast spots I have been to. The food is really delicious, and the specials are interesting and enticing. During my stay, I had the special breakfast sandwich (egg, local sausage, spinach, gruyére cheese, tomato on ciabatta served with home-style potatoes), which was perfectly balanced in flavor and had a nice spice from the sausage; the egg scramble (eggs, sausage, tomato, bell pepper and cheese served with fresh fruit) which was cooked nice and medium; and the banana bread french toast (yeah, banana bread!) which was absolutely phenomenal! The homemade banana bread was great in its own right with rich banana and walnuts but they up the flavor by soaking the bread in egg until custardy, crisping it on the grill, sprinkling with powder sugar and serving it up with warm butter, maple syrup and fresh fruit. 100% A+++ Yum! The market side was kind of neat with some specialty food but nothing you couldn't find at a World Market. I was hoping for some more local foods but can't ding them for that. The inside was nice, clean but somewhat small. They do have a patio in front that adds some seating. Not really meant for big groups, though, and you do order at the counter so no waitstaff, however, the owners are really friendly. Overall, if you can get to the Queen Anne area, this is a must try breakfast place. It is a bit pricey ($9-12 per entree), but with their large portions, it is definitely worth every penny.

We asked Linda to split a breakfast bagel for us and throw some sides on there. Look at the photo of the beautiful breakfast she made us! Love this place!

...so slow that I had to get my meal to go because I ran out of time to be able to eat it there. It's a cute place so I hope the staff figures out how to address this. It wasn't just me - everyone else seemed to be growing old waiting for their meals as well. And I didn't order anything exotic that required careful preparation. Maybe it was an off-day?

Tenth West (formerly known as Icebox) is my go to! I have never been disappointed by breakfast, lunch or happy hour here. The omelettes, paninis and salads are fantastic, and the breakfast sandwich is my favorite. (On a bagel with peppered bacon, yum). I love the casual ambience and there's always some good music playing. The owners and staff are so friendly.

We tried this place as part of an exploratory walk in Queen Anne. It's tiny, and looks to be in a remodeled shop or house. The food was creative and prepared well The presentation was also nicely done.

On vacation and this is by far our favorite breakfast place. Best coffee cake we've ever had and the specialty breakfast dishes are fantastic. Coffee is served French pressed at the table. Very friendly and cute café. Highly recommend! Thank you for a great breakfast experience!

Stopped for breakfast while house hunting. Linda was so welcoming! I had the ham, asparagus, Swiss omelet; my spouse has the western scramble. Both were AMAZING! Regardless of where we choose to live, we will be back!

A friend and I went here for brunch based on the great reviews. I live nearby. I can't believe they get rave reviews. We had no service at all for 10 minutes after we sat down. We finally got coffee and tea - had to ask 2x for water. Tea water was lukewarm at best. It took 1 hour and 5 minutes to get our food. My friend's order was wrong but we didn't want to wait for a redo. They comped her breakfast but really - don't tell someone you can make a change and then fail to make it. My meal was fine but nothing special. We won't be back.

Linda, the owner, is so friendly and chatty! She opened shop early because she was there - and does so almost every morning! One can get all the great breafast-y and brunch food here - but it's also a sort of mini convenience store - that is so much more affordable and offers better products than a 7-11. I really enjoyed the friendly, open atmosphere and French-press coffee. This is a great place to stop in and have a coffee and/or nosh when in the neighborhood.

This is one of those places that you are so glad you stumbled upon. It's set off the main drag but not hard to get to at all. The whole experience was superb. The food was fantastic, I had French Pressed Coffee and the Farm Scramble which was delicious and had thick cut bacon pieces. I enjoyed the casual ambiance and Linda (I think she may be the owner) was so kind and helpful. I was needing help getting to the Cascades and she went out of her way to write the directions down for me! I will definitely go back when in the area.
Delicious Hearty Breakfast
This quaint neighborhood cafe was so delicious and had "the best pecan coffee cake Ive ever eaten" service is fast and friendly. Food was served hot and tasty! We would definitely come back!
