Great food! Huge portions. This place is excellent! As soon as you walk in the door you are met with the wonderful smells from the kitchen. They had live jazz music both nights. The rooftop bar and dining was also very nice. Everyone in our group loved their meals.

What a great place! Have always had terrific service at the bar and in the dining room. The appetizer selection is so good we always just order apps - the Italchos are like a meal! Love to sit at the bar and have drinks & apps - the roof is amazing but not always open for meal service. The Chocolate martinis are maybe the best we've ever had!

Very nice atmosphere when you walk in. Got a great table upstairs. Started with a nice bottle of white and the Italianachos and they are really really good!! However when I got my lasagna oh gosh, the sauce was so bitter I only had 2 bites. Obviously burnt garlic flavor and it was absolutely the worst ever! Ordered a desert and by the time it got to our table it was a melted soup. Don't recommend this place. If you go just pop in for appetizers and drinks but it dinner.

Had a birthday dinner at Terilli's and greatly appreciated getting the round booth suitable in size for our party. Service was adequate, and the Italian nachos were good, although very expensive. But the caesar salad and Chicken Terilli were not good or up to standard . . . they consisted of dry overcooked chicken and a pretty flavorless salad. (Seems like many Dallas restaurants really throw together the caesar salad these days and don't take much pride in getting it authentic.) But the food was well below the standard I've come to expect at Terilli's over the years. Maybe an off-night or some sub-chefs in during the holiday period, but definitely a step down from what I remember. Hopefully it is a temporary lapse.

Met friends for lunch and were not disappointed. The Italchos were phenomenal as was the lobster bisque and panini. It was cool out the day we were there, but we want to return and sit on the rooftop to eat.

Our first experience at this restaurant. My husband called to make reservations but they were booked on Friday night. The hostess did say that tables were always set aside for walk ins so we decided to give it a try. We were seated almost immediately and had a relatively nice waitress. We ordered the Italchos (house special appetizers) and they did not disappoint. Fabulous!!! The Caesar salad was nothing special. Our entrees - Chicken Piccata and the Ravioli with Italian Sausage were both good but not anything that I would go back for. The surprise of the evening was getting our car back from valet parking. Parking is advertised as complimentary - It is stated right on the valet station. When our car was brought around my husband was tipping the valet and he said that it was a $5 charge for parking! After a little discussion... what part of free they didn't understand...We didn't pay for parking. For me this is reason enough not to go back to Terilli's. Even though it is not the restaurants fault it leaves a bad taste.

We took another couple to the restaurant last week to celebrate his bday. It was amazing. The service was so warm and welcoming and our friend was acknowledged many times. The drinks were creative. The food was awesome. Rarely, I order veal with caper sauce and it was cooked perfectly. My hubby (who is a lasagna snob) really enjoyed his entree. And, the other couple loved all of their food. We will be back!

I have eaten at Terilli's several times over the years since it is a favorite of my sister who lives in Dallas. It has always been a wonderful bistro with a great upbeat decor, stellar food and great service. I went for lunch on my most recent visit, it appears there was a fire since I was last there, but the restaurant has been rebuilt and is more beautiful than before. My sister swears by the Italchos and Cream of Jalapeno Soup, both delicious. I had lobster salad which was such a gorgeous presentation, great dressing-- It could have had more lobster on it, but otherwise it was superb.. I also had crab cakes which were delicious, all crab, very light with delicious sauces. One niece had a very tasty burger/fries combo and the other had a beautiful angel hair pasta with meat balls. My nieces shared a decadent dessert that they loved. I had 2 divine cosmopolitans, chilled and shaken to cosmo perfection, among the best I have ever had. Our waiter was very good, the food is well priced and it was a fabulous time. I will always go back to Terilli's anytime I am in Dallas, it's a local favorite and rightfully so.

Came here for mother's day, and it was not a good experience. The service was not exactly attentive, our food took forever to come out, and I'm not sure what's with the salt factor- I got the veggie lasagna, and it had about triple the amount of salt it needed. The same goes for an order of Italian nachos we got as an appetizer. I think I'll be passing on this place in the future.

Just can't say enough positive things about Terilli's. We have been going here for years and never had a bad experience. They had a fire a while back and completely rebuilt the restaurant it was very homey before but now it is beautiful. Soaring ceilings well decorated, booths, tables beautiful bar area. Reasonably priced wine list with good choices. Our favorite is Italchos which they describe best as Italian Nachos "Crispy Handmade Pizza Chips topped with our famous Family Red Sauce and Terilli's Cheese Blend". The Crab Claws are the best we have ever had (be prepared for the price, not cheap, but worth every penny. The Gorgonzola Wedge Salad is also fabulous. We have never eaten dinner there (maybe once or twice) only lunch. They do have entertainment (check for times) and the place just really has a great vibe about it. A must do in Dallas.

This is a unique gem on Greenville Ave. it’s been there nearly 40 years. The atmosphere is chic, a big bar and middle surrounded by tables , as well as upstairs tables. The service is terrific. The menu is filled with many good choices. I highly recommend the lasagne. Their red sauce is really special. The wine menu is not overwhelming with California and Italy choices. They offer a unique martini list. They have a wonderful piano player. A really good restaurant.

I have been going to Terilli's for almost 20 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. The food is outstanding as is the service both at the bar and at the tables. I also love the piano player who offers up so many great songs. Last week he had a guitar player with him and they couldn't have been any better. If the weather is nice, go upstairs to the roof top lounge, it's awesome! I get to Dallas 3-4 times a year and have not missed Terilli's yet.

I live in Dallas, I live very close to this place. It's been there for ever and I have never been. Dallas is not known for their Italian food. We just don't do it well. There are a lot of places to eat in Dallas or even on this street. But this was the worst meal I have had in Dallas ever. I would give it a zero but that isn't an option on this site. My husband just got back from a very long biz trip and he was starving. So we were driving by this place and I thought let's try this place. Should have kept driving. We started with the cream of jalapeño soup. It was good. Not Italian but the soup was good. So we both ordered an entree pasta dinner that came with salad. Since they have a wedge salad as an entree salad my husband asked a for blue cheese on his house salad. The waiter said we don't have blue cheese. We have Gorgonzola (which is blue cheese) and he said it's NOT blue cheese. And then he said we have a Gorgonzola sauce (on a salad? Eh no?!). So we both ordered the Caesar salad. The rolls are like the frozen ones in a bag. Nothing special. The hubs got Chicken parm and I got the Pasta Primavera. Every primavera I have ever had has been awesome (outside of Texas). It's the perfect summer pasta dish when veggies are in season and are awesome! When it came out it tasted like raw garlic - got the diced tomato, olive oil type sauce called pomodoro. Salad came out - mine had a teaspoon of dressing - hubs had none. It was recently washed, wet lettuce, little cheese (the cheap Parm). It wasn't good. First off on the pasta dishes - do they salt the water they boil the pasta in? I don't think so. The "sauce" tasted of nothing but raw garlic - no salt. And the vegetables (squash, zucchini and carrots- never seen carrots in this dish before) tasted like nothing. Couldn't even taste them. Don't know how those were prepared but no salt - couldn't taste them. I never use table salt but I had to- To even try to eat a bite or get a bite down. I mean it was not good. It should be awesome. Especially this time of year. The hubs kept lifting up the very thin chicken parm like he was looking for something. There were thinned slices of zucchini under the chicken (not mentioned on them menu). I could tell by what he was doing he was not enjoying this. So I tasted the sauce (marinara?). It tasted like raw tomato paste. Literally the stuff that comes in a tube that you add to your pot of Italian spaghetti sauce to thicken it up. Raw tomato paste is NOT sauce. It's bitter and doesn't taste very good on it's own. And honestly you should be cooking the sauce so long that you can't taste it because you cook it- cook that taste out. We both didn't eat but 3 bites. So a $70ish awful dinner fail. Chef Boyardee is better. And that's crap in a can that I haven't eaten since I was a kid. I do not understand the 4.5 grade on this site- at all. I mean they do an entire menu if martinis so maybe you can't taste it after 5 martinis or more. But this was awful. There isn't very often I review a place and it's bad. But this was bad. There are so many great restaurants that have great food in Dallas. This is a waste of time and money. And super GROSS!! Never went to this place in 20 years and won't be back. Dallas has great food - all kinds - but we don't do Italian very well at all. Still searching and still hoping. We have had it all over the world and when it's good it's awesome. Don't bother with this place. Must be people that are just loyal to this place over the couple decades it's been open. But we won't be back.

Have dined there three times in the last year and do enjoy the food. Expansive contemporary dining room tastefully decorated and usually crowded. "Italchos " Italian nachos a tasty start, love them with goat cheese. Escargot a good choice also. Have tried Chicken Terilli, marsala and fettuccini alfredo and all are good. Live music, though sometimes a little loud, is an added bonus. Only complaint is uneven service in three visits....just never know who you will get

Yes I realize we went on a Saturday night. We were celebrating a friends birthday. Our reservations were for 8:00. Think we finally sat at 9:30! Our waitress Jessica never lost her cool, she was really good! The food was yummy as well. Very nice restaurant but not for big party's!

Every time I visit Dallas, a trip to Terilli's is in order. It is a long time favorite of my sister and I must say, I really enjoy the great menu and décor. Our wait staff was excellent, always filling our iced tea and making sure the meal was enjoyed. The food was excellent, we started with the Italchos, amazing take of the nacho only better with tomato sauce, cheese and we choose crab and mushroom. I also loved the Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus, wonderfully grilled to perfection with a beautiful lemon chive cream dipping sauce. My sister had a lunch special of her most beloved cream of jalapeno soup and salad, a wonderful choice. I had Warm Grilled Chicken Pasta Salad which was a true treat, the roasted red pepper dressing was incredible with it's zesty taste. I will always visit Terilli's anytime I am in Dallas!

Took my wife and daughters to Terilli’s last night and had a blast. The wait-staff was very attentive and friendly, the ambiance was remarkable and the artist selected seemed to go hand and hand with it all. Since it was our first time there, we order four different entrees (Terilli's Marsalas, Sausage and Peppers Tortellini, Meat Lasagna and Fettuccini Alfredo w/ chicken) and all were an amazing, well portioned delight. The artist Russ Hewitt was an excellent choice for this venue and I can’t imagine anyone else carrying the night as well as he did. If there was a negative for the evening, it would’ve been the Chocolate Seduction Cake but the Xango Cheesecake made us quickly forget every bad dessert we have ever had. Someone in my party said that they would go again just for this dessert and I agree. Thanks to the Owner, A new Terillien

Great energy in this lower Greenville spot. Service is friendly and quick. We loved the velvet and the cucumber martini--perfectly shaken and balanced. The brisket lasagna and the tortelliin with sausage and peppers were delicious. We can't wait to go back! Go early, or have a reservation!

We've dined in, we've had brunch out.. it's all good. Best martinis ever..

Big restaurant, competent staff that was responsive and timely. Food was good, not great, but perfectly adequate for a Monday night. Noise level acceptable -- we could hear each other. Wine was good, portions generous (no one at the table could finish their dishes--) It is a standby, consistent, you will get a good meal there and get to visit with your friends. Reservations recommended (And I think they ask for a 2 hour limit during peak demand -- which is reasonable--) Bonus-- they do have a free Valet -- though parking is just a block away in a lot. Valet, great in the rain :)

Terilli's is a very popular Italian restaurant with funky atmosphere including live jazz. The food is excellent. You can enjoy delicious cocktails before your meal and they have a very nice wine menu as well. Sectional seating areas are perfect for small groups if you are looking for some privacy. There are three levels and the rooftop has got a wonderful views of the downtown Dallas. The place is cool, fun and definitely recommended.

Two meals in three days. After one visit with a colleague, we had to bring the entire group for a wonderful meal. Seafood, steak, or chicken - you can't go wrong with any of the choices. I highly recommend the Cream of Jalapeno soup (I wish I visited Dallas more than once a year...and had the recipe)! The white chocolate martinis were pretty tasty, too ;) Great food, friendly service and fun atmosphere, including a fantastic performer. I'll definitely return to Terilli's.

Love this place before and after the fire took down Greenville Ave. Always awesome service. You can request a romantic table for special occasions. Food is fabulous!

Ate here with friends for a birthday dinner. If you eat here, you must try the crab claws appetizer. It is an amazingly delicious plate!!! I had the pasta carbonara with shrimp for dinner and it was also very good. This restaurant has a bar that is somewhat in the center of the restaurant with seats all around. There are also two levels and they feature a live band. It's a great atmosphere and the patrons and staff are very friendly. Prices are also very reasonable. It is very dark inside of the restaurant at night, with nightclub type lighting. This is a good venue for dating or to go out with friends. I would not recommend it for families with children. At least not for dinner. There also isn't a parking lot, so you have to valet park, but there is no charge for valet.

Since moving here in '86, Terilli's has been my #1 choice when I eat out. I have never, ever had a bad dish here. Chicken Terilli's with the white sauce *must* be tried - light and rich at the same time. The atmosphere is sophisticated, but you can be comfortable when you are casual as well. The new rooftop patio is wonderful at night!

Love this place - fantastic food, great atmosphere and service. Went here for my birthday this year, and it was perfect.

We arrived for a late lunch, and were greeted very professionally by the valet in the 100+degree heat. The restaurant decor is understated and lovely. Our waitress & others who delivered food or beverages were knowledgeable and intuitive. The food was simply outstanding. We both had cups of soup and pasta that were hot and fresh and perfect. The atmosphere was great for a romantic afternoon. We will definitely return!!!!

I see that some of the reviews say the service is bad. We did not have that experience at all. It was Wednesday night at 6:30 PM not a large crowd but they were filtering in. Everything we had was very good and top notch presentation. Service was impeccable. I had the sausage and pepper with pasta i highly recommend it. We will be back.

This is my all-time favorite spot in the city! Let's start with the dirty martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives OR a savory glass of wine from their extensive selection. Next up - appetizers... Terillis' is the only place on the planet that you can get Italian Nachos called, "Italchos" (founder, Jeanie Terilli, invented them and they are remarkable!). You can't go wrong on this menu but take note of the specials. Chef Franky always has something delicious as a suprise. My favorites: the Noki, the seabass, jalapeno soup, and I never skip the house salad. The service is top notch, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Terilli's is located on Lower Greenville Avenue which is a historic part of the city where there is always something going on. Whether you are a long time local or just passing through, don't miss this culinary and social experience! There's a reason they've been a Dallas favorite for over 30 years!

My husband and I go to Terilli’s almost every week for date night. We sit at the bar and enjoy seeing the other regulars and having delicious food. The only real problem I have is that I can’t get enough of their red sauce. I always order extra, and thankfully they always bring it. My mother swears it’s the best garlic toast she’s ever had, and we gleefully split the lasagna often. When I went there years ago I swore I would never go back because I felt like it was overpriced. But now that I go all the time I see that the portions are absolutely huge and if we don’t split then I have leftovers for tomorrow. This is one of those local Dallas finds that I’m happy to have found.

This was the spot for my wife and I's very first date. I wanted to surprise her this year for our Valentine's Day (which we celebrated a couple of days early) and take her back to our first date spot. I called the restaurant 3 days in advance to make our reservations and I was told that they had taken all of the reservations they were going to take for that night (again, this was the Thursday before Valentine's Day). I asked if they could make an exception and they told me no, but I could do call ahead seating and they would seat me as soon as they could. Since I was trying to make this a very special date, I really didn't want her to have to wait on a table. I sent the owner an email telling him our story and that our very first date was to this restaurant and asked if he could help me make this a special night. I got a phone call from Joey 30 minutes later letting me know that he would take care of us and not to worry! I never expected him to give me a call....maybe a return email, but he went above and beyond. I was very impressed. Terilli's had a fire a few years ago and had to re-build, and they did an amazing job with the new design! The restaurant is now 3 stories with the main dining room, main bar and musicians on the first floor, a second bar and more of a private setting for dining on the second floor and the third floor is a rooftop lounge area. While we were there, we visited all three floors and we were really impressed. It was a bit chilly on the rooftop lounge area, but they did have a fire pit going and there was a great view of the Dallas skyline and it would be a great people watching spot in the Spring. The food was just as awesome as we remembered. Our appetizers, entrees and dessert were all fantastic. My wife really loved the Italchos. Overall, everything about Terilli's was amazing. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and to top it all off, Joey going out of his way to ensure that we were taken care of, our table was waiting for us as soon as we arrived, next to the musician as I had requested and making sure we had a perfect Valentines Day date. Thank you again Joey! My wife has already told me that we will be coming to Terilli's often from now on!

This place is the best!!! A must for Italian food! The ambiance is so nice and chill. The prices are really good for the best food around. Gotta get the italchos appetizer!

Last minute decision to dine here and we are glad we did! Food, drinks, and service at the bar were great! Would definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Terilli's. Be sure and make reservations because they were slammed by 8:00. The meal was excellent, but the noise level was high and the wait staff a little slow. I would go back.

Had dinner here on Sunday night of labor Day weekend. They were very busy which is always a good sign. So busy we opted to dine on the outdoor patio as opposed to waiting 30 minutes for a table. It wasn't the best Italian meal we've had but based upon how packed it was they must be doing something right. I didn't care for the dressing they used on the wedge salad and I didn't care for the toughness of my steak but that was my first mistake, I should have ordered something more traditional because my son had a ravioli dish that was delicious and my other son had lobster bisque that was rich but very good. Service was decent. Location is perfect for a night out and there are many options for after dinner. Live music going on inside. Valet right out front made it easy to avoid parking a nightmare.

I'm very picky about my Italian food since I lived in Italy but Terelli's has great food. Pasta is cooked perfectly, not over cooked and comes out very hot. Excellent service

Live piano, valet parking, top notch martini bar, very light italian fare (try the chicken penne pasta and brochetta). Wine can get expensive but the dinner can last for hours so wine works well for lunch or dinner entertainment. Get there early for high traffic times.

Driving up to the restaurant feels special. The valet team swarms your car as you pull up to the restaurant. Doors open. You are whisked inside. It's NOISY inside--really noisy. Pleasant hostesses. Piano player near the front of the restaurant. Lots of activity. Did i mention it was LOUD? Artwork on the walls. Towering white curtains drop from the high ceilings. Our round table for six was perfect. We could not have squeezed another person in. We had to speak in a really loud voice just to carry on a simple conversation. We each ordered martinis (SPOILER ALERT: since the menu doesn't have prices, Martinis are $15 each). After we ordered our entrees, the the waiter asks 'if everyone is okay with a cesar salad'. To which everyone said yes. (SPOILER ALERT: Cesar Salads are $6 each and they're small--real small). Hardly any dressing or flavor on the salad. Not sure how you can miss the mark on something so simple, but they did. My entree was the Tom Landry special, which really wasn't. The chicken seemed to have been cooked earlier and simply plated. I suppose that's why the menu says no substitutions. Maybe the food is already prepared ahead of time? Anyway, it was a fun evening, I just wish the food was fresher and tastier. The ambiance is definitely is a few notches above the food. I would probably go and back maybe opt for pizza/wine and I would definitely try to sit outside where you can actually carry on a conversation. If you're wondering about COVID safety practices at this restaurant, don't worry--there are none. Not a single employee that I saw was wearing a mask--including our waiter.

My wife and I went here the day before Valentine's Day it was packed but we made a reservation. They got us in pretty quick. The have awesome food and the atmosphere is great! Food prices were high but it is defiantly well worth it! Want to impress a date or new business clients? Take them here you won't be sorry.

I would give it a 4 out of 5. My rainbow trout was delicious. The beef lasagna, made with brisket, was tasty. The steamed calamari was fresh and delish. Caesar salads are over dressed, so get dressing on the side. Watered down bar drinks; blasé bar staff. In a trendy and popular area on Greenville.

I have been visiting Terilli's prior to the fire which was years ago and still I very much enjoy this restaurant. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the calamari which was so awesome. The grilled trout with veggies as my entree and had strawberries and cream for dessert. When I was there, a pianist and bassist were providing dinner music. What a treat! Dining at Terilli's is such a pleasure. I make sure I dine there whenever I am in Dallas.

We took our kids out for a "college graduation" dinner and, while very busy for a Sunday evening and a little too loud at times; the atmosphere was great, the musician was great, the service was fantastic and so were the food and drinks! We'll definitely be back.

...But the food was average to mediocre on the night we visited. The Antipasto Platter was solid. The CAPELLINI DI ANGELO was fairly bland and glommed together. The shrimp were overcooked -- to/ugh to cut and chew. My wife's PORK OSSO BUCO was very tender -- it fell off the bone -- and was good but there was a lot of it! The plate was garnished with sliced tomatoes which seemed odd and did nothing to improve the presentation other than fill empty space. Sometimes less is more. They wait staff was attentive and competent. The wine steward broke the cork off in the bottle -- stuff happens and he was quickly back at the table with a replacement. His recommendation of a Pinot Noir was excellent. The decaf coffee was flavored. You either like the stuff or hate it. We were in the former camp. A word about the bar -- very adept. My martini made with Botanist Gin was excellent as was my wife's French 75.

Always good food, decent service, and a lovely atmosphere. The dining area can be a bit loud, try to get the rooftop if possible.

I normally order their pasta dishes or the sea bass. Usually super good. I ordered a salad with lobster-$22.00. Definitely not worth it. I had a hard time finding the lobster. My husband got the Osso buco. It was rather dry and too tomatoey. At least now we know what not to order. They do have fabulous martini's. There italchos are awesome too.

It was so good, the food and service is perfect, we liked it a lot!!!!!!!!! I strongly recommend this place

Had been looking forward to trying Terilli's again after so many years. Great patio (with heaters if you need), nice cocktail, some decent wines on the list. Enjoyed the pizza nachos starter more than our meals. Lobster fettucine was oversauced and overcooked, though the lobster tail was ok, just smothered in sauce. Osso bucco disagreed with one of us (only one of us ate it) as soon as we got home - so either there was MSG or some other issue. Service was very friendly and helpful. Inside was quite crowded. We were only able to get an early reservation on the patio for a Friday, and it was full when we left.

We met my future daughter-in-law and her family for dinner. The nacho appetizer was fantastic! Dinner was great as well, but finishing the evening with drinks on the rooftop was perfect. Service was great along with the food.

So a group of four of us went to eat here, because all the reviews seemed to point to a fantastic dinner option. However, what we got was an over priced olive garden-esk type meal....which is fine, but if we wanted chain style canned marinara food, we would have sought that out...Just being honest...

my husband and I had an early dinner here, The hostess was a complete ditz but our waitress, Jessica, was great, attentive but not annoying. Our dinner was great .good portions.well prepared I can see that this place might get very loud when crowded but was pleasant when we were there. Nowhere to park but courteous, quick free valet. I would visit again

Food was very very good I got the bistro burger came with delicious potatoes w/bacon small bowl of fruit liked it a lot even thou the meat was over cooked . My wife got lemon veal w/over easy egg on top it was even better then my burger the only problem was really the server was tipsy and had a hard time seperating the check took 4 tries to get it even close to right was very frustrating

This was our 3rd time to eat here. It takes us an hour to get here with traffic, but worth the drive. You must try the Cheese Italchos (their version of nachos) as an appetizer. This time I got the smoked chicken ravioli which was really good. My husband got the tortellini with sausage and peppers and he said was also very good. Tiramisu was YUMMY. You have to get there early to get a seat on the rooftop (which is really cool). We had reservations for 7pm on a Friday night and there were no open tables for rooftop seating (they don't reserve those). There is fire pit seating up there, but in my opinion unless you are just doing appetizers and drinking I prefer a regular table to sit at. The entrees are a decent portion and prices I feel are reasonable for really good Italian food and the restaurant setting. There was live music playing and it is loud so be prepared to talk loudly to your friends. The only negative I have to comment is that the whole restaurant is so dark, I always have to use my phones flashlight to see the menu. It's a fun place to eat! We will definitely return.

Terilli's is an excellent restaurant for a business casual dinner with 4+ star service. The cocktails were superb and the food was exceptionally good especially for a more casual environment. Everyone in our group of 6 was very pleased with their meal. I found the service to be way above the norm for Dallas. Our server was very attentive, personable, and professional. It is difficult to recommend any particular item since everything we had was excellent. Terilli's is definitely on my preferred list the next time I am in Dallas.

The restaurant has a menu that in some respects is non-traditional. That said, the food and service excellent. The fresh, hot bread with oil and vinegar was delicious. So was the Spinach salad and vegetable sandwich. The more unique dish was pizza dough cut into pieces similar to "nacho chips". The toppings were mozzarella and feta cheese with pepperoni (other ingredients can be added). Delicious seasoning. Overall a pleasant lunch and would come back.

We began with a Ketel One Vodka Martini and a Lemon Drop. We ordered the Calacini appetizer which was fantastic. I had the Sausage and Peppers Tortellini. She had the Chicken Scampi. Both were delicious.I also had a nice Josh Cellars Napa Valley Merlot with dinner. Dessert was Tirimisu. It is the lightest I haver ever had and an outsanding way to end a great meal. Jerry provided excellent service without smothering you.

We live in Oklahoma but have a daughter in Dallas. Came for the happy hour specials and fell in love with the food, service and atmosphere. It has been a long time since I have had great Italian and we will be coming back! Bologanese was outstanding the meatballs and bread knots were fabulous

Terilli's never fails to provide a great Italian meal, As always, the italchos are wonderful, and the pasta worth working out for. I had the smoked chicken ravioli with a divine walnut cream sauce, very decadently worthwhile. My wine choice was not to my liking but I am picky. The salad was very good and served with fresh parmesan and cracked pepper. A great meal as always.

This is a beautiful and essential part of our Dallas landscape.. The Rooftop bar is spectacular. The food in soooo good. The night we were there they had a piano player that was wonderful. I had chicken pasta that was delicious. My hubby had the filet and said it was one of the best hes had. Try this restaurant, try the roof..i hope you love it as much as we did:-)

I had the best lasagna I have ever had in my life. That includes some I had in Italy. The serving was large enough even I could have shared it with someone. Never had so much meat in the sauce, ever. The service was absolutely first rate and we enjoyed having the live music. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know who is traveling to Dallas.

So you are looking for a place to have a party, a business meeting or dinner a gathering or some sort...and you are in "east Dallas" - you are aiming for Lower Greenville area. There are not a lot of places with such indoor accommodations for a lot of people. Terrili's Mezzanine is a well designed space that can handle easily 50+ persons, has it's own bar, wide screen TV and a fireplace. They were easily able to accomodate our gathering of 15 - all separate checks. One server/bartender who was the most professional I have ever encountered in the city ( no joke). Food - I had a vegetable lasagne. I did not order the lasagne expecting it to blow me away. It was good. Despite some noodles not cooked all the way through i would get it again as the sauce was not overly sweet. But when I return what I want to try are the Italian Nachos on the starter menu. They looked better in presentation ( and smelled delicious) than they sounded to me. Terilli's was always a good place for business lunches and dinners despite it's obvious romantic atmosphere. Still is.

Our previous visit was a couple of years ago and now on Labor Day. As always the staff is always friendly and willing to help in anyway. The food is very good, we enjoyed crab claws for appetizer and then chicken scampi, lasagna and salmon. All were perfectly prepared. We had reservations and they had our table ready when we arrived. Great restaurant on Greenville, will certainly return.

The atmosphere was wonderful and the food was 5 star. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was very loud. We had a difficult time having a solid conversation with the other couple in our party. Overall though it was a great experience.

What a great place! I am visiting from Denver, and i am surprised at what a cool place Dallas is. This restaurant is a lot of fun! Great staff! The rooftop deck was so relaxing with a great view of the neighborhood. They had vegetarian options on the menu. The piano player created a great mood as well.

The first thing I heard about Terelli's was that it was famous for martini's and Italsco's. Italsco's are Italian nachos. Tortilla chips covered in mozzarella cheese and italian toppings. The martini's are fabulous. The bartenders, Chris and Vince, are fantastic. They made me feel like a local and a regular within moments of meeting them.

Lower Greenville is so underrated when it comes to unique and diverse eats, and it's one of my favorite Dallas neighborhoods by far. Now if you don't know the history of Terilli's, here's a little trivia: this place actually burned in 2010, and not a lot of people had faith that it would be rebuilt and restored to its golden age. Those people were wrong. I visited Terilli's with a friend last week. We sat upstairs on the second floor and had a fabulous view of the decorated restaurant, as well as the colorful street antics outside. Christmas lights, lots of laughter, and really swinging piano music (if you hate fun piano music, maybe skip this gem). Our server at Terilli's was so great - honestly, probably the best service I've ever had. Friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. (I'm so mad I can't remember her name). My friend and I had the same courses - Caesar salad and chicken picotta. The salad was standard, nothing special but fine. The entree had the potential to be phenomenal, but it was barely warm upon arrival. I'll still rate it pretty darn amazing because despite the temperature the flavor was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very busy (not a free table in sight and people waiting outside the doors), so I can't be too upset. I'll venture back after the holidays. A place like this definitely deserves another shot.

I ordered the Italchos at my waiter's urging. They were amazing. Chicken, sundried tomatoes, pesto and goat cheese. I wish I had stopped there. I ordered the veal Parmesan. The sauce was almost inedible. There was a strong taste of what seems to be burned garlic that ruined the dish. The veal itself was dry and the pasta was a cheap pasta that had no flavor. The sauce was the same on the lasagna. We ordered the Godiva dessert but by the time it arrived it had melted. I would suggest coming for a salad and Italchos but leave the rest.

We love to come here for special occasions. They have live music (usually Jazz) sometimes they have soloist as well. I got the Terilli's Chicken Picatta which was good. My husband always gets the sausage and peppers tortellini he loves it! The italchos (appetizer) is always good! We get with sun dried tomato, spinach, chicken, basil pesto and goat cheese. The restaurant is pretty dark so you need your cell phone flash light to see the menu. It's a good idea to make reservations as they are usually busy. Rooftop seating is first come basis but is great in nice weather. Always a great dining experience!

Recommend going at 4pm to be able to enjoy the atmosphere, the music, and receive the best service when noise level is low. Went there for a birthday dinner, had veal parmesan and lobster fettuccini, both dishes were excellent. The veal was tender and tomato sauce was excellent. Our waiter, Marco, came by just at the right time, didn't come too often, but we didn't have to wave him down. Valet was reliable. The birthday dessert was a bread butter cake with fresh fruit, which was delicious. Mom and I will be back!

Food was good, not spectacular, but definitely solid. My husband did really enjoy the filet! Service super slow and odd. Hardly anyone here (came at 1630) yet they made a big deal about us not having a reservation and said we would have to be out within three hours. Other than a few guys at the bar there were no other customers. So it was just an odd experience. Some menu items not available. Rooftop not open. Reservations only even though not on website that I saw. I will say the guy filling water glasses was on pointe!

Had to wait for a table as we were early, headed upstairs for a drink. 3 people asked to help us but couldn't get us what we needed ( menu, etc.) finally the manager wandered over and took our orders. Dinner was amazing, food was really good and like I said, you can't beat the atmosphere. Very crowded, you know it's that good. Salads were good, never got bread but that's ok we always refuse it anyway, Chicken Marsala and Chicken Parm were good. Friends had Meat Lasagna and the Shrimp pasta dish. Very good wine selection too.

Met a few friends for lunch this afternoon at Terilli’s. This was the first opportunity I have had to eat at this particular restaurant. The food was great, there were five of us and I think we all ordered something different, from a plain Caesar salad to the meat lasagna. Everyone had positive comments on the quality of the food, and they had a large selection of alcohol. Parking is around the corner, easy to get to, moderately priced, and service was excellent. Highly recommend.

If veal picatta is on the menu, I always order it. So needless to say, I've had my fair share. This was the best veal picatta I've ever had. Service was great as well.

I am a new fan of Terilli's! I absolutely LOVED the Italchos! Be sure to build your own Italian Nachos and share with the table. They are fabulous! Our group of 3 shared the Italchos and a magnificent Lasagna. Be sure to get a great glass or bottle of wine and enjoy the piano player. You can sit at the bar and eat or get a table. Excellent service! I can't wait to go back!

Enjoyed a holiday lunch with friends, and the quality of the food and service was excellent. I was very happy with the opportunity to build my own pasta with spinach fettuccine, Parmesan cream sauce and a variety of vegetables. The music was loud, but our waiter got it turned down a bit.

It had been years since my wife and I had eaten at Terilli's (way before the restaurant burned down and then was rebuilt and reopened in 2011). But we recently spent a "staycation" weekend in Dallas and took the opportunity to go to Terilli's, which we used to love. I'm happy to say it's still great. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. And the rebuilt interior was better but had the same feel. If you love Italian food and a restaurant that looks and feels slightly upscale but at the same time casual and comfortable, you should give Terilli's a try. Although we live in the Mid-Cities area and don't eat in Dallas often, Terilli's is back on our list of favorites.

We held a private party for 25 at Terilli's last week and I could not have been happier with everything they did. The servers were outstanding, the drinks cold and supplied quickly to thirsty guests, and the food received many compliments from everyone in attendance. I live out of state so I had to arrange everything via email and phone so I was a little nervous. But Terilli's took care of every last detail including a menu with a customized heading noting the special occasion. They have a rooftop area but since May weather in Dallas can be "iffy", we chose the mezzanine upstairs for our party. It was open to the main restaurant below which gave it a light airy feeling but still private. The music drifted up from below which was an unexpected benefit. They have a separate restroom right off the dining area which was very convenient.

I love this place and did not realize how much I missed it. The specials are always amazing, best seafood lasagna I have ever had- wish it was on the menu. My husband and I go here for occasions that are a little more special, however this restaurant is very reasonably priced with a high value.

Enjoyed a great meal here that was highly entertaining. Excellent service. Wonder menu. And wonderfully prepared food, fit for the most discriminating pallet. I would highly recommend this establishment.

This place is AWESOME. Valet parking is so easy and their customer service is top notch. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and SMELLS. AMAZING. The piano player in the middle of the restaurant was the feather in the cap for me. We were there on a Thursday night and the tables were nearly full by 8pm. We ordered Italchos (one veggie and one chicken pesto) as an appetizer and they are absolutely AMAZING. For my entrée, I had sausage and peppers tortellini and I tried the chicken picatta from a friend. Both were delicious and my only regret is that I didn't have enough room in my stomach to finish every single bite. The service was top notch, the wine was excellent, and the food was fabulous. I will definitely eat here again the next time I am in Dallas.

First time in over a year that we have found a place that has very good Italian food. We started with drinks at the bar because our table wasn’t ready at our reservation time, which wasn’t a great way to start, but they were well made and the wine by the glass selection was decent so it made the 35minute wait bearable. For our appetizers we choose to share Calamari Fritti and Oven Roasted Garlic. The calamari was light, fresh and well cooked but the stand out was the oven roasted garlic served with warm garlic bread and Texas goat cheese. Three medium size heads roasted to perfection! Main Course we ordered Veal Marsalas, light with just enough sweetness to the dish, Veal Picattas, wonderful lemon caper sauce, and one of the best Roasted Pork Osso Bucco that we have ever tried. It was falling off the bone and was a very large serving. All entrees came with a salad of our choose and we took home a good portion of our dinners. They brought out a complimentary piece of raspberry cheesecake for my daughters birthday that was also very good that we shared. Will definitely return!

I've been here twice, once to celebrate my high school graduation in May and my birthday in June because I loved it so much! Terrilli's definitely sets the bar high in my view in terms of food quality in particular. In addition, it may be a classy restaurant, but it's not to the point where you have to go in with a suit jacket. As far as appetizers, I highly recommend getting a goat cheese/italian sausage combo (the waiter suggested it); I LOVED the spinach fettucini, and the Chicken Terrilli dish is nice as well as you get your choice of sauce. Their berry Martini (my parents let me have it) was amazing and to cap things off their Xango Cheesecake is delicious. If you're looking for reasonably priced yet great Italian food with attentive service in the DFW area this place is a must to visit.

If you have to pick one place to eat in dfw, this is the place. Everything is amazing from the food to the service. Best vegetarian lasagna I’ve had.

Three must-try's: Creamy Jalapeño Soup, Italchos, and a drink on the rooftop patio!!! The atmosphere is only rivaled by the food.

I really debated writing this review because I've been here before and had very enjoyable meals. A few of us had the lobster bisque, which was very good, and pasta entrees were decent. But, unfortunately, on this visit, I was subjected to one of the worse crab cakes I have ever experienced. At $15 for ONE cake, I would expect a very healthy serving of crab. Instead, I was served something that only looked like a crab cake, but had very little crab in it, and barely tasted of crab. I'm not sure what to call it, but it was like eating a piece of fried bread or batter, with a little bit of crab mixed in there. When I can pick the whole thing up with my fork, without it falling apart, it should give you pause. I was not able to finish it, and that has never happened to me when eating crab cakes. Management should really think about whether to keep this on the menu. My suggestion is to, either change the name and call it something else (maybe fried crab ball), or actually make a crab cake with crab meat. Needless to say, I would not recommend this item to anyone, unless you just want to blow 15 bucks. I assure you that you will be disappointed.

I agree with another reviewer that this Greenville area is so overlooked. The area is diverse with a variety of restaurants, bars and coffee houses. I was working in the area and started to visit the choices for lunch. Today is Sunday and decided on Brunch here and dine outside. While waiting for my French toast they brought me some lovely blueberry muffins with strawberry cream butter. Just right latte! The outdoor heater kept me warm! I was entertained by the Piano Man. Later with some soft rock. Service was very efficient and french toast served attractively and tasty and the bacon crispy! Price was average for Brunch service. Maybe I will get back someday and try dinner!

What a great night to eat outside in Dallas. Very good service and very good fettuccine Alfredo. Salads were fresh and quick. The drinks were quick and What a great night to eat outside in Dallas. I really enjoyed my visit to Terilli's on Greenville Avenue. The service was great, food was delicious, and piano not too loud so you can hold a conversation! By the way they have valet parking which is free and speedy. This was my first time and I’ll definitely be back!

This used to be one of my favorites in Dallas. This was our first visit back after it reopened. Loved how the place looked and the outdoor patio. My pork tendrloin was very good but the veggies were under cooked. My husband enjoyed his fish dish. Our waiter was good but wow the music was so loud I cound not hear my husband across the table. We ate and left quickly because it was not relaxing. We drove 30 minutes to get here and I felt tortured.....

Just incredible! As an out of town traveler a client recommended for our last dinner. The atmosphere is so unique - both sophisticated and sexy while also classy and romantic. The service was spot on and the food all wonderful. We found ourselves sharing bites among our group and every dish was a winner. Such a gem.

Went to Terilli's with some friends who are regulars, and who highly recommended it. My wife and I love italian food, but are very particular about where we go, because we've found that most places don't live up to the hype. Well, I have to say that Terilli's reputation for fresh, high quality food is well deserved. We started with their specialty italchos, and fried calamari, both of which were superb. We then had a variety of entrees, including Chicken, pasta, and seafood plates, and all of them were very good. So, combine great service, nice location, and top notch food, and you have a great combination! It is now definitely at the top of my list.

I ordered filet mignon and lobster tail. It costs $43. The taste was very bland. For that much money I expected excellent taste and the restaurant did not deliver

We drive out of the way to come here because they have some of the best Italian dishes here that you’ll ever try! Vegetarian lasagna is amazing!!

This is the restaurant I chose when my husband asks "where would you like to eat...?" Yes, it is noisy and bustling, but the food is amazing from appetizers (Italchos) to desert (any of them), portion sizes are great, drinks are always mixed right, and the service is fine!

Terilli's is great all around: classy yet casual atmosphere; fun environment; attentive and friendly staff; great drink menu; and fresh, unique delicious dishes. We had an assortment of appetizers (antipasti platter; caprese skewers; Italian (trademarked) nachos; Italian meatballs) - all were amazing but especially the Italian nachos - there were lots of different ones but my favorite was the pepperoni and jalopeno. Great place for dinner but they also have an upstairs area that can be reserved for private groups (which is what we did). Parking can be an issue on Greenville so the complimentary efficient valet parking was appreciated. Our event was a huge success and we will definitely be back!

The last 2 times we went there , great disappointment , the sea bass was just bad. The servers disappeared several times. Will stop going there .

Whoever the chefs are in this kitchen love what they do. This food is phenomenal. It took some time to get our food, but good food takes time. It was piling hot and fresh. Well prepared and plated. This is food at it's best.

Terilli's is without a doubt one of my favorite places to dine in Dallas. The menu is original, creative, and there is definitely something there for the most discerning of palates. I can tell you that have had most everything on the menu. If you are a fan of calamari, you'll find none better anywhere. On this particular visit I was there for Sunday Brunch. The Italian Sausage Omelette is one of the best things that will ever touch your mouth, and you've got to love a place that lets you make your own Bloody Mary! Located in the Historic Lower Greenville part of Dallas, you cannot beat the atmosphere of Terilli's. You can't beat the Live music either. Do yourself a BIG favor and take a trip to Terilli's the first chance you get. I have no doubt you'll love it as much as I do.

I spent my birthday at Terilli's. We sat at a great table near the door and right next to the live musicians. We had an excellent appetizer - sort of like Italian nachos. I had a pasta dish that had sausage and peppers. It had great flavor and was far too much to eat -- great leftovers! The place was very busy but we still had excellent service. They have an incredible rooftop lounge too!

down lower greenville, always looking forward to the italchos. cocktails are awesome, but the ambience has changed since they rebuilt.

Disappointed in food delivered. Warm Brie plated with brown spotted apples, chicken Penne pasta too greasy to eat, smallest piece of pie I’ve ever seen. Have you run out of napkins? Caesar salads were good. So sad.

Our dinner group dined at Terilli's this evening. I cannot say enough good things about our experience there. The food was delicious, and the service was spectacular. I did not have a high expectation for the service this evening because we had a group of twelve, and the restaurant was crowded. Chase and his assistants provided spectacular service for us! He was efficient with drinks and taking orders. We could not believe how quickly our salads and food arrived! Chase was just incredible. He took plenty of time to discuss and accommodate dietary restrictions. Our drinks were kept filled. I was extremely impressed. I had the pasta primavera, and it was very good. All the other selections looked good also. When we requested additional rolls, we received them immediately, and they were warm and tasty. Terilli's outshines the other dining establishments in Dallas that our group has visited. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Brought some friends from out of town to this place on Greenville so that they could get some local flavor. It was our first time and our entire family was not disappointed. Our teens really enjoyed the Italchos. Everyone at the table (we had 7) were quite happy. Music was different but not too loud. I would suspect that they do a great business on Valentine's Day coming up. We will be back to try some other dishes.

Such a great 25th anniversary experience. Everyone from the host, to our incredible server, Ed, to of course the chefs, made this a wonderful experience. The martinis, pastas, and desserts were wonderful. Thank you all! It was a bit of a drive for us but so worth it! We will be back often.

Ate here on a business trip with about 20 of my co-workers. Made reservations the day before due to the group size. Everyone loved it. Live music was perfect...not too over powering. Appetizers were awesome...some thought they were better than the entrees, especially the Italachos...the Italian version of Nachos, I assume? Great experience and would definitely go back when I am in town.

Very trendy place in Lower Greenville with great atmosphere. The bartenders are very good and make some solid drinks (have great martinis). The food is good but not great. You won't be blown away by the food, but you won't be disappointed either and the price point is reasonable. The Italian nachos (italachos I believe) were a little underwhelming and something I wouldn't get again. If you're looking for pretty good with a great atmosphere Terilli's is a good choice.

Very nice neighborhood spot with live music & good energy. It was very crowded when we were there on a Saturday night so it was very noisy. Service was good, nice martini menu and food--although not the best Italian food I ever had--it was very good and very reasonable. Would definitely go back.

Great atmosphere seems like a happening place. Most the people we observed knew one another. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs that were mild meat balls. I had the fresh tomatoes over noodles. I do not think they were fresh, sorta a mild sauce it lacked flavor. I would probably order something else if I go there again..and I will. The waitress warned me that it was just sorta there, she was right. Loved the neighborhood and the vibe of the place.

Established since 1985, Terilli's Italian Restaurant on Greenville is an experience you don't want to miss. We were in a company of 4 couples New Years Eve, we had different items on the menu and all of us delighted in the meal, ambiance and service Terilli's provides. I had the Chicken Scampi and it was the best I have eaten...ever. I would highly recommend this meal. I am one that does not eat pork or pork products and I know most Italian restaurants use pork in their meatballs, so don't. I called to find out if Terilli's does and they do. The manager I talked to also said they use pork drippings in their red sauce also. This was the only negative to this restaurant.

Three of us dined at Terilli’s in Late June 202. We immediately were informed that we had 2 hours to complete our dining experience which, under the circumstances, we completely understood. We noticed that all employees were wearing masks and diners were placed at socially distancing intervals. This should be comforting to anyone wanting to have a wonderful Italian meal in Dallas. And, our meal was delicious. We all started with a salad which contained crisp varieties of lettuce (including romaine) wonderfully crafted dressings and, of course, shaved Parmesan cheese on the Caesar salad. I want to add that our server was unbelievable. He was knowledgeable, honest, and a true fan of the sea bass (later we were informed by the General Manager, whom we raved to about our server, that his nickname was “Sea Bass”. His attitude and helpfulness combined with a wonderful sense of humor made an incredible evening just perfect. So, on to dinner, two of us had the scrumptious pasta (ravioli) special, and one had .. you guessed it .. sea bass. The pasta was house made and just perfect in all respects and the sea bass was everything our server promised (even going so far as to challenge that if it was not the best sea bass ever he would buy it back). It was the best she had ever had. Our wine choice was great, also a server recommendation, and as we lingered on the last few morsels of food and finished the last few drops of wine our two hours were up ... we were told that someone had not shown up for their reservation that if we wished we could stay ... so we did ... desert (the tiramisu was a real treat) and coffee. We would encourage anyone wishing to have a fun evening and dine on some wonderful Italian pasta AND SEA BASS. Give Terilli’s a try. They are following all COVID-19 guidelines. PS - ask to have SEA BASS for a server, you will not be disappointed. THANK YOU Terilli’s...

Still love the quality of food, excellent red sauce, consistently great. Had a few problems though, that make me think I'm going to start trying other Itailian restaurants. They now charge $5 for parking, which they don't tell you prior to parking. We were seated at a table for five even though we were two people. It was not conducive for intimacy or romance! We were told it would be a long wait for a different table. However, about four groups came in after us, refused to sit in the group of tables at the front where we were, and somehow, magically, were seated elsewhere. That kind of thing really bothers me. I don't want to have to make a fuss to be treated with respect. Also, the waiter asked if I wanted the remainder of my meal wrapped up(over hallf the meal) and I said yes (it was delicious). Somehow, they threw it out in the kitchen. I was really ticked off. We'll be trying somewhere else for awhile.

The food is good but not great at this Italian Jazz restaurant. They have some nice appetizers that are different such as the Calcini, Escargot Terilli or the always popular Italchos (italian Nachos). The salads are also good. The entrees have a lot of seafood options. The food can seem overpriced but when you consider that a lot of Jazz places upcharge for the music it is understandable. If you sit in front of the band it can be quite loud, but if you get a table behind them it sounds just right. There is a nice roof top bar. The valet can be slow at times.

My favorite restaurant in Dallas for the past 15 years. One of my very first experiences upon moving to Dallas and still love it! The quality is always superior and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The italchos are a must since I've found them anywhere else. Relaxing roof top bar-great for quiet evening dinner.

We are never disappointed with Terilli's! Always a great meal, great service and fab entertainment! We usually spend birthdays here, and have been going since the mid 80's!

We were staying around the corner at The Highlands Hotel, we planned on having dinner at Knife, but that didn't work out to well, so we came to Terilli's and we were glad we did. The service and the food did not dissappoint.

Service - was great, very friendly and attentive Prices - totally reasonable Food - not good. Salads had a strange aftertaste, pasta was way overcooked (angel hair goo) and totally drowned in sauce. My wife's meal was similarly not good. We ate about 1/4 of our meals, paid the bill and headed out. I was bummed because I really liked the vibe of the place.

Great food and love the atmosphere . Free valet - can't beat that . Not over crowded on Saturday at lunch. All of us enjoyed our lunch choices . Will most definitely be back . Try the xango /fried cheesecake dessert .

My husband and I came here for a date night and it was the perfect spot! It is very moody and romantic. The candlelight, the piano music, and the fantastic art set the perfect romantic mood. A must try is the Italian nachos! They were amazing and the perfect starter for some really great, authentic Italian fare.

They have live music. Good vibe in restaurant. Food is fine. Nothing special. I had a Velvet Martini. It was ok.

The overall ambience of the restaurant is classy, yet chirpy.. On a not so hot day (only numbered in Dallas), one can enjoy sitting in the patio and experience the crowd. Parking can be bit of a problem here, unless you want to use the valet. We tried Grilled Garlic for the first time. had a hard time to figure out how to eat it, but in the end turned out to be a sweet experience and flavor. Recommend taking a reservation if you want to avoid waiting

Terrific Italian food, comfortable setting, great service. Loved the signature appetizers. Pasta was fulfilling complimented by a great Malbec.

This was my first visit to Terilli's. A friend was having her birthday party there. It turned out to be a great place for a birthday in the afternoon. We had the mezzanine to ourselves and the food and atmosphere were great. I got the Gorgonzola Omelet and Italchos with a Poinsettia (cranberry champagne drink). We were close to the roof so we went up there, but it happened to be on the day that it snowed and was windy so it wasn't a good place to stay for more than a few minutes. In nice weather, the rooftop seating (with many chairs and tables available) would be great. In conclusion, the food was awesome and I would come here again.

Terilli's is an institution in Dallas. Order Italcho's to start, Jalapeno Soup, and the Chicken Terilli with half cream/ half spicy tomato. Capellini D'Angelo is also always good. People watching on the front patio is perfect, and you can just hear the live music from inside, but still converse easily. Or, go to the rooftop and have a drink with Tom, who runs the bar up there and is another Dallas institution. Be nice to the door people and they will treat you well.

First timer to eat at Terilli's, the food was excellent and the service was superb. You should definitely ask for Chas as your server. We ordered the meat lasagne with the caesar and the Tom Landry with a wedge salad. Our choices were delicious, I would definitely go back! We sat outside and it was the atmosphere was wonderful, except for the chiggers. You may want to sit inside or bring bug spray, I left with about 10 bites on each ankle.

A crowded noisy and way overpriced restaurant. The service was okay but wait to order and food delivered to our table was long.

We had reservations at Terilli's on Friday night. The bar(s) to this place were PACKED. It was very difficult to get a drink while you waited, unless you wanted to go out on the rooftop in the 100 degree weather. Once we were seated, the services was great. The food came out quickly and we loved it. All of the pastas were delicious. I loved the crab claw appetizer.

Very nice place in Lower Greenville to have a drink, good service, and good food while listening to piano music.

We are not a town known for our Italian. We are a Tex-Mex, Steak, and BBQ food city. So when I say Terelli's is the best Italian in Dallas, keep in mind that it won't hold a candle to places like Chicago or NYC. Nevertheless, Terelli's kicks Italian booty in a Texas way. Where else will you find Italian Nachos (Italchos!) and Lasagna made with brisket? The service is hit or miss, but generally more hit than miss. The live music most nights makes for a great atmosphere. Overall, Terelli's is awesome and a great spot to take a date.

Great jazz, great food, great service. We had heard this and loving Italian food wanted to celebrate a birthday. Birthday boy has a very educated palette. We were quite pleased with ourselves when he nodded approvingly of his Chicken Piccata. We also ordered several lasagne dishes and several choices of salads. Nothing stingy about the portions. Take an appetite! And the salad dressings spot on. Usually we might complain the music too loud. Sitting in the corner the sound was absorbed nicely. Folks all around chattering and cherbling happily, (We can make up words can't we?) so the music did not seem to restrict conversation. Contented picky eaters!

Consistent Italian themed restaurant in a fun area of Dallas on Lower Greenville. Martinis among the best in the city. Try the Italchos as an appetizer. Amazing. Live music almost every night. Make reservations for Sunday brunch—you will need them.

Food was excellent: well priced, generous portions. Wonderful ambiance. Cozy atmosphere. Service exceptional. Sunday night guitarist was very talented.

We ate at Terili's with a friend who lives in Dallas. This was our first time visit. The atmosphere was great, décor nice and cozy but the noise level was disturbing. We couldn't hear each other talk because of the other conversations going on around us. This was a Tuesday night so weekends must be worse. The food was good; shrimp scampi, pasta and meatballs, and chicken piccata. Appetizer of their specialty "italachos" was the best. Overall we enjoyed our food but it was similar to other Italian restaurants. The depth of the flavor and richness was not there in our particular plates on that particular night. The staff was great, helpful, and attentive. I would go back and try something else.

How amazing is this place. Dinner on the roof top terrace at Terilli's. The service is second to none, the food is attentively attended to and the environment is heavenly. Be adventerous....come dance with the stars up on the roof. On the lighter side of the menu, try the Club Salad...very nice and clean.

I attended a high school reunion here in October. Never been here but will make a return trip. The place is on lower Greenville so expect horrible parking; i'd highly recommend using their valet service. The place has three levels: lower level mostly food, with a spot for a music duo/trio on some nights; the second level appeared to be mostly a bar area but might have seating when it's a non-reunion night; the third level is a roof top bar/dining area. That night was spectacular so many of us found it the most enjoyable. The menu is varied; my selection was very good, and those around me said their food was great too. It's a fun place to go, but it can be romantic too. Very worth going to.

The atmosphere is great. The service is great. We have been going there since Terilli's opened. The food and drinks are great! The martinis are the best I have tasted! It is difficult to get a seat on the weekends without a reservation. The bar is full on the weekends, and it is a great place to meet friends for a drink. The live music adds to the atmosphere!

I meet a friend in different places every two weeks for lunch. We decided to try Terilli's and were not disappointed. This is a beautifully decorated restaurant and for lunch was a quiet place to have a conversation. The warm bread is delicious. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich with pasta salad. I wasn't too fond of the pasta salad, not much flavor for me but my friend said it was delicious so just difference in taste I guess.

Deciding that reviews were strong enough for us to get a great Italian meal, turned into a dissappointment. On the low, the Alfredo w chicken was tastless, the Meatballs and Spagetti almost made it as meatballs were tasty, but sauce was thick and pasty, and over herbed. On a positive note, Chicken Terillo was good, seems angel hair pasta is their best, Sausage and Peppers was also good. Salad good, atmosphere good, and the Piano Man was very good.

This review pertains to the private dining room on the second floor. We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner there. Food was very delicious and staff friendly and helpful. There is a full bar up top to serve patrons. The only downside is that the live band downstairs was rather loud and we couldn't hear our own speeches until the staff had the band take a break.

We had a wonderful experience! Live Music, great food, great service in a lively atmosphere. Ryan was our server. Experienced server, never felt rushed, made excellent menu selections. Brought over Javier when we had questions about the wine. Javier was also very good about steering us to the right wine. Food was very tasty. Veal Piccata was light and flavorful. Brie was a great appetizer. Drink were very good as well. We went for anniversary celebration but this doesn’t need to be a special occasion stop. Enjoy!

For me, it doesn't get much better than Terilli's. The atmosphere, the location, the live music, and the food make this place hard to beat. If anyone comes to visit or is stopping in town and they want one recommendation, Terilli's is where I point them to.

The food was great but I can't say that for the customer service . I came here with a group of friends for happy hour. We sat upstairs at the bar and the bartender customer service was very poor. She came off as if she was having a bad day or something. Everyone ordered food and it came out right away. My food was taking a little longer than expected. I asked the bartender if there was a way she could check on my order and she was very rude. She replied your order is in it's coming out. Is that a way to talk to a paying customer. The right thing to do was let me check or get someone else to check. I wasn't the only one having a bad experience but I won't speak on the other customer experience. If I decide to come back I will be sure she isn't serving me. Her service is HORRIBLE!!!!!! Forgot to mention that she never checked to see if I wanted anything else she just gave me my check. After that I don't think I'll return.

Celebrated a birthday dinner with four adults and three children. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Also they had a gentleman playing the piano which was an added pleasure

Dinner at Terilli's on Lower Greenville is a wonderful experience. When in town we meet up with our friends and settle in for a great dining experience with excellent service and the perfect setting for friends to catch up. Whether dining down stairs or on the roof patio you will have great food, drinks, service and an environment where you can talk the evening away. Our three couple sat in the same booth as we have in the past & our servers made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. The specials were perfect, including their option for Gluten Free penne pasta as needed. Even the complimentary valet parking was well appreciated.

Went there on a Saturday evening, the place was exceptionally packed. We noticed one fight and several verbal exchanges. Thought I was at the Ok Corral. We love the food, HOWEVER, it attracts some uptight people for a crowded scene... Too bad, it's great food!

I have been going to Terilli's for the last 20 years the good thing is you can expect what's coming . Average quality Italian food with friendly service and casual atmospher .great for a neighborhood restaurant . Like the crispy handmade pizza chips. A spectacular rooftop patio.

First the staff is very professional and very friendly. I saw a waitress hold a baby for a young couple so they could both eat their food. Food is excellent. I lived in Italy for over 20 years so I am very picky about my pasta. This is about the only place where it comes out really hot. Not from under the heat lap. Good menu. Great bar and live music that you can still have a conversation.

Why do the darkest restaurants have the smallest menus with the tiniest font? This is one menu you should not be trying to hide. The food here is excellent and they'd sell a lot more of it if you weren't selecting the easiest item you can make out. Either print a nice crisp menu on white paper or just let everyone pull out their bright phones that blind us all. It looks like concert with all the phones being waved around. So maybe this a dark mysterious concert hall: Lively crowd, several bars, lots of staff and the real star - the food.

My husband brought me here on a date night. It was my first time eating here. Romantic decor and a man playing a guitar was nice touch! I love Italian food and I have to say that the Lasagna was the best I've ever had! My husband tried the Gouda Wedge salad and said it was one of the best salads he'd ever had. The service is excellent, our water glasses were never empty. This place happens to be my daughters favorite as well, and now I know why, she happens to have great taste in restuarants.

I worked in Dallas for 8 years for 2 weeks at a time every 6 weeks and this was my first and last place to eat every trip. I Absolutely love this place! The food is phenomenal! My favorite was to get the Make your own pasta and add all my faves to it. Yum! I ALMOST miss my old job just for this place! :) I will visit Dallas again on vacation this time and will definitely make this my first and last stop on my trip.

We were in Dallas shopping for prom dresses. Afterwards we found Terilli's via Trip Advisor...and were so glad we did! Great atmosphere, delicious meal, exceptional service. Loved everything our party of four ordered, especially the Cheese Italchos! We will be back!

I had the Tom Landry special, my guest had the Chicken terilli. The chicken was good as was the angel hair pasta but a bit bland tasting. We did get an excellent salad and the bread tasted fresh. Service was excellent. I ordered a bottle of wine (Melini Reserva) for $40. At that price, I at least expected a Chianti Classico, but got a $10 bottle of wine instead. The place is too loud for a family function.

I went to Terilli's for the first time with a friend who lives close to this neighborhood and knows where the good spots are. We sat on the rooftop from about 6 pm to 8:30, sipped half price wine (Tuesday nights) and soaked in the view of downtown and perfect fall weather. Went downstairs for dinner about 8:30pm and I was amazed at the reasonable entree prices. I ordered Veal Marsala which came with a salad with great vinaigrette dressing. My friend had the "Tom Landry" dish which he ate with so much gusto I didn't even really see what it was! I was also busy enjoying mine. They had a piano bar vibe in a lovely setting. I don't live close but will be back! Great service, too!

From the moment we stepped in the door we were delighted. The atmosphere is wonderful. Live entertainment, intimate dining spaces, delicious food and the service was awesome. They also provide complimentary valet parking.

Great venue for a special night out.I had seen this restaurant from the outside on a previous trip to Dallas and decided to give it a try. I was more than pleased with the decision. Ambiance is nice and inviting. Service is excellent, both efficient and attentive. We ordered suggestions made by our wait staff and were extremely pleased with the selection. The suggested wine was excellent and is now among my favorites, though unavailable in my home state. Strangers at a neighboring table decided to order the same selection and were equally pleased. According to a local wine vendor the Vanderbilt Reserve is available in restaurants only so I will definitely be visiting Terilli's on my next visit to Dallas.

The restaurant has all the essentials: elegant decor, low lights, live piano music, great drinks and tasty food that does not disappoint. Make a reservations!

We had a reservation so no issue with getting a table. Atmosphere is dark and cosy. Some live music from a piano. Service was friendly and courteous but lacked the feeling of welcoming. I had the Chicken Marsala good flavor but meat very thin and cool. My spouse had the Salmon which was over cooked. Basically not a very good start for a enjoyable date night. Portions were decent size and pleasant presentation. Prices were reasonable and menu had decent variety of choices. We do not plan to return as there are better choices in the town for our personal taste.

Enjoyed a great cocktail reception at the rooftop bar. Food was very good. The service was attentive. The atmosphere was excellent.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and had the warm pasta chicken salad which was really delicious. My husband enjoyed the Italian Sub Panini. Their coffee is always excellent, and arrives with a swizzle stick of rock candy sugar with hints of cinnamon. I have been a regular customer of this restaurant since the 1990s, and I'm never disappointed.

Meet some friends for an early dinner around 5 PM. Has two different appetizers, warm brie and the Italian nachos. Both excellent. Caesar salad was spot on as well as the Lobster Bisque. Had the Lobster ravioli for a main course, we also ordered chicken Picatta, Rainbow Trout, 10oz prime Filet Mignon. All prepared extremely well, great flavor and presentation. I tried the Tiramisu and it was above average. I would definitely recommend this place. Enjoy.

Had the opportunity to try Terilli’s for lunch recently. I must say, I very much enjoyed the “create your own pasta” section. In fact, all three members in our party ordered a “create your own pasta” dish. One with angel hair pasta and red sauce, one with penne, meat days and added meatball and me with penne, red sauce and added pancetta. My pasta was excellent! Knowing that pancetta can be a bit salty I was prepared and added no extra salt...good move! I would definitely order again. The other two members of the party were also pleased. Each selection came with a small house or Cesar salad and a basket of warm bread rolls. Fresh parm and fresh cracked pepper was offered. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. And, I thought pricing was appropriate. Parking can be a challenge, even at lunchtime, but valet parking is available.

Pretty venue. Good service. Lovely live music. Disappointing food. Very excited to try brunch here. The menu looked terrific, but the food was a sticky, stodgy mess. The shredded potatoes were inedible. We all agreed the Crab Benedict was dreadful and the Veal Limone was skimpy without a whiff of lemon. My daughter said her steak and eggs was tender and cooked to order, and my son said his Gorgonzola omelette was good but left him hungry. We liked the tiramisu and flan. Overall the food needs freshening with less unappetizing starches and more real flavor.

I really love this place! I have frequented Terilli's for many years and it has become one of my favorite places to eat. Most recently, I have been going on Saturday afternoons when you can have a very relaxed lunch with some of the best food around! The Cream of Jalapeno Soup and Salad are so good that you will find yourself craving it.

family of bride met to eat al fresco. Wonderful food. Excellent staff...ask for Carrie. Huge selection, value for the money spent.

I went to Terilli's after not having gone there for years. There are always so many new places to try. I had no idea how much I had been missing out! I went for happy hour at the bar. The food and drink specials were crazy affordable. The food was awesome. I will not wait that long to go back. It has again became one of my all-time favorites.

A few years ago Terilli's was one of our favorites. We made a reservation recently on a Wednesday to celebrate an anniversary, and were less than impressed. Our name on the list showed anniversary, but we never received the flute of champagne that was supposed to be provided - bad communications to wait staff. The service and food were okay, but not what we had come to expect. My chicken scampi was more like chicken piccata with capers and heavy garlic taste. The noise level was fairly high, drowning out the man playing the piano, and the TVs over the bar broadcasting sports events were not in keeping with our idea of a romantic dinner getaway. If you are just going there for food, then it will probably work for you.
Beyond Fabulous!
Dinner and drinks with colleagues outside on a warm spring evening. Fabulous food, delicious drinks, spectacular service! Can't wait to visit again.
