I had the pleasure to speak on the phone with and also be able to meet in person with Jennifer. The hostess at Terrace 16. A very elegant, intelligent and sophisticated young woman. She took care of my reservation for my sister and I for after dinner drink. She was helpful and extremely thorough in providing all the details. So nice to see someone take their job seriously. She is real people person. The Trump Tower and especially Terrace 16 are lucky to have someone of this caliber with their organization. I see nothing but a bright future for her in her future endeavors.

This spot has great views inside and outside. The food and drinks were all very delicious. Our waitress Alexandra was very sweet and helpful.

The service was INCREDIBLY slow and no one seemed to care. I was charged $47 for a Bloody Mary and it was literally vodka, a cheaper version of Zing Zang and Tabasco. Prices are outrageous and food is good but not great. So many better options for the price

Had a lovely evening at the restaurant in Trump Tower Chicago, the views are stunning, but what really made the night special was the staff. Clyde, the bartender, was incredibly kind and welcoming, with the kind of charm that instantly makes you feel at home. His cocktails were just as thoughtful as his conversation. And Alex, our waiter, was attentive without ever being overbearing. Very professional, friendly, and a genuinely sweet person. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel so well taken care of. Not to mention that the food was just amazing. One of the best places I have been in since forever

I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I bounce around between the St Regis, Four Seasons and Trump Tower while in Chicago. Trump Tower reminds me of the world class hotels I'm accustomed to in Singapore and Hong Kong. The 16th floor terrace has the best views in Chicago, period. The service and cleanliness of the hotel are unmatched. Last night it was packed for fireworks. Jennifer "the hostess with the mostess" took excellent care of me. It's hard to stand out at a place like Trump Tower as the service is too notch, but Jennifer managed to. She is an asset to the organization. Be sure and ask for her if you visit, you will not be disappointed.

Our second year in a row with Alex as our server. The views are amazing, the service is second to none they go above and beyond to make you feel like your visiting family.

I just had brunch at Terrace 16 , the atmosphere was completely on point and the service was over the top . My morning started with a dazzling welcome from the hostess ( Jennifer ) that helped me make the right decision to sit at the bar . The gentleman behind the bar ( Oscar ) was my de facto server that catered to my every need with a delightful manor . Started off slow with a fruit plate then delve deeper into the menu with an entree ( Huevos Rancheros ) to where I was so impressed I asked to meet the chef ( Marcus ) . During all of this I was constantly checked upon by Jennifer , that continued to make my experience over the top with her fabulous smile and personality while making sure my experience was top notch here . I proceeded to explain to Marcus that the meal prepared for me was fantastic and I wanted to try something else . He recommended the lobster omelette ( I wasn’t sure about that but took his advice ) and I couldn’t have been happier it was great !! Now that I have been here for well over an hour enjoying everything this restaurant has to offer , in comes the bartender for the day opening up the bar for more options of libations. Justin ( the bartender ) stepped right in as he was preparing for the day to make sure my drink was made to perfection . I don’t normally write reviews but I have been blown away here by the concern for the customers experience. 10/10 for sure .

We decided to dine in at the Trump Hotel for our 35th anniversary. The service was very good and attentive. I had the lobster soup as an appetizer. It was delicious but was served in a minute serving. My wife’s salad was excellent. I chose the veal chop for my entree. It was perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender. My wife chose the braised ribs, that were excellent. The disappointment was in the quality of the coffee that was served with dessert. It was almost undrinkable! The dessert offerings were disappointing for a five star hotel restaurant. My wife’s chocolate “cake” was akin to a large chocolate cookie. My crème brûlée was good, but not great. I enjoyed the early part of our meal, but greatly disappointed with the finish.

We visited the restaurant and it was great, our waitress Alexandra was amazing!!! She was super attentive, accommodating, and made sure we enjoyed our experience!! Very excellent!! The food was great!

I am a repeat visitor and this my 4th visit. The privacy, incredible views, and the drinks make it a worthwhile experience. 🙂 We got seated on time. Courteous reception. Great evening with fantastic views and drinks. Mark, our server, provided excellent service. Ordered Talk Birdie To Me and Clase Azul drinks. Had fried Brussel Sprouts and Parmesan Fries- tasty. I would highly recommend it.

The place and the view was amazing. Klajdi made for us excellent cocktails and Alex was very kind and served us very delicious plates!

Marvelous and close skyline views. Dinner on wednesdays guaranties you romantic fireworks at 8h30 pm. Special mention to waiter Alex, super professional, attentive and fast.

I had friends in from out-of-town and thought they'd love the ambience, view and service at Terrace 27. I was not disappointed. From the get-go, the service was amazing, starting with Jennifer the hostess. A hostess can make or break a restaurant experience, as he or she is the first contact customers have with the business. Jennifer is professional, knowledgeable and has a smile and demeanor that immediately lets patrons know they are welcome. She provided information regarding outside seating availability as well as informing us that we could have a drink at the bar as well. My friends commented on her positive vibe and pleasant attitude. Nowadays, that's hard to find! Anyways, the drinks were great as was the view from outside seating. I'd recommend that anyone (native Chicagoans or those visiting) check out Terrace 16, as it's an awesome hidden gem of the city.

Beautiful views!!! I ate lunch here and ordered chicken and potatoes - very delicious - excellent service - very clean. I loved the decor - pictures of Chicago on one narrow wall from floor to ceiling - I walked here from the Omni Hotel on my way to the Art Institute!

The perfect place for a birthday celebration or a wonderful evening with friends and family. I've celebrated my birthday at the Terrance 16 many times and over the years it has become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The staff here is extremely dedicated and the service truly unmatched. Many thanks to everyone who helped make our evening special - Gabriel, Miguel, Jordan and the entire team.

I was there on a Sunday night and I had the best time . I visited from Florida and wanted to say a trump hotel experience in Chicago. I was served by Clyde the bartender and I was really given a 5 star ⭐️ experience … Clyde was very talented and was very impressed while he crafted my cocktails with great professionalism. I was impressed by his knowledge and answering all my questions about the trump hospitality. Thank you to clyde I had the best experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an amazing time, we were made to feel very welcome. The night likely wouldn’t have been the same without Alex serving us. He should be praised and recognised as someone who makes the time a lot more than promised.

Terrace 16 is easily the best rooftop terrace along the river and in my opinion the best in the city. Nowhere else has the grand open feeling that you get at terrace 16. The views were simply stunning of the river and the Wrigley Building. Jennifer is an unbelievable hostess. She helped me plan my proposal on the rooftop and was even kind enough to take photos for us and film our special moment. We will forever cherish our time at Terrace 16 thanks to the amazing attention to detail and the above and beyond help from the entire staff. Thank you so much to everyone that made our engagement an absolute dream. Can't wait to go back. THEY PROVIDE BLANKETS IF ITS CHILLY!!

Best spot in the city and Jennifer will make make sure your experience is remarkable. Food, View, and Experience is Top Notch. We had a seafood tower and a Pinot. A great spot for a fun weekend with friends and such a great spot for river, lake, and sunset views.

My husband, son and I went to have dinner at Terrace 16 and were lucky enough to have Alex as our waiter! He was attentive without being too attentive, effective, helpful and such a pleasure to speak with! Request Alex if you are ever there! He made our family dinner very enjoyable!

Visited here with family just for drinks and snacks. First off we were 9 people and had separate reservations for the same time but they really were great and sat us all together. Had a great time. Was a foggy day but the views were still wonderful. Service was friendly and very accommodative of the allergies within our party. They really made sure we were having a good time. Drinks were creative and delicious. Would definitely visit again.

I came here for my birthday. It was an awesome view, the double shots were great, Alexandra was awesome as a server, and I won't forget this birthday (even with the alcohol).

The experience was a once in a life time experience. Our waiter Alex, was the absolute best. Took very good care of us and served us well, making sure all of all need were met! Food was delicious also. Chef even came out to meet us and took time to talk with us. Just wonderful.

We arrived without any reservation. Agreed to be on the waitlist. Waited for an hour while enjoying the city and river views on its terrace. Even it was summer , it was not that humid at the top. We got seated soon , got to order several items . Menu was fairly extensive . Drinks selection as well . Had my steak medium well . Food tastes ok. I guess it was the ambiance that pervaded well . I know some might not choose to try going here given the political undertone of this hotel , but keep an open mind. When you just want to chill and relax then this is it . Even better across in London House. I am posting pics of what we had for dinner.

I have been visiting Chicago for many years now, and every time I make a point to go to Terrace 16 at the Trump International. In my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of having Vincent as my server. He is very respectful, hard working and did a wonderful job walking me through the menu. Vincent went above and beyond. Trump International is fortunate to have such a bright young gentleman apart of their team. I look forward to my next visit to the Terrace 16. Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful experience.

Last year, I had a fantastic experience at Terrace 16. The service was truly outstanding, and a staff member named Maurice really made my visit special. His attentiveness and warm personality stood out. Because of that great service, I returned recently with my husband for dinner at Terrace 16, hoping for a similar experience. Unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The service was nowhere near as attentive or welcoming as before. It honestly felt like half the experience I had when Maurice was there. Terrace 16 seems to be missing something. The level of service has definitely dropped, and it's a shame because the location and views are lovely. But without that exceptional service we experienced before, the whole dinner felt lackluster. I hope they can bring back that higher level of attentiveness, especially if they had someone like Maurice on their team.

We had an absolutely fabulous time celebrating our engagement! We got the Red Dragon roll, bone marrow, and ribs. Carlos was as good as it gets! Food and drinks were amazing! Would recommend to all! Ask for Carlos! He made sure we were taken care of- all around great service.

Dinner was excellent, wine was wonderful, service (Alex) was amazing and the view from the terrace (pictures only as its cold) is worth the visit alone. The price was very reasonable as well, really enjoyed, do not hesitate.

I had a break in between work meetings and decided I wanted to relax by enjoying a tea with a view and a book so I decided to go with the terrace 16. Unfortunately, the hostess informed me the restaurant was fully booked with reservations but I could go to the bar for a tea. She noticed my gaze at the crowded and lively bar and rejected her recommendation and asked if that was all I wanted in which I replied yes, she then suggested that she can make the tea herself and bring it to me. I’ve never experience a hostess take such proactive action towards a sudden request and it showed me the type of quality service the Trump tower can provide. To the sweet hostess Lexi, I went to the lobby library to enjoy my tea and book by the fireplace and had a wonderful break. Thank you!!!

We felt welcome immediately. From the valet, front desk, and on to the restaurant. The menu at Terrace 16 was vast from simple to delectable. We chose the Red Dragon Roll, Avacado Salad with a side of steak, cheeseburgers and an aperol spritz. Delicious. Our server, Alex, was more than knowledgeable but kind and friendly. We loved it and would highly recommend it for the food and the beautiful view of the Chicago River and Avenue. Just perfect. Thanks for making our small family dinner so memorable! Make sure to say hi to Luis the mana gamer, he really knows how to make visitors to Chicago feel at home.

My lunch experience at Terrace 16 was fantastic. Food was great and staff was very friendly. I have been to Terrace 16 a number of times now and have never had a bad experience. I look forward to going back.

The views are outstanding from either the terrace or the restaurant. The staff members are polite, helpful and professional. The food is well prepared and tasty. It's expensive for what you get, and sometimes the service is spot on and sometimes it's a mess. One evening we had a friends join us for dinner only to have the staff bring all our dishes but have no clue who ordered what, not ask if we would like another drink, not refill our waters, and not bring our bill. That's the exception though. We live nearby, and always make reservation. Unfortunately, what isn't the exception is the endless stream of instagram-wannabe-influencers and random tourists that spend a loonnggg time taking a thousand pictures of themselves from the terrace. The ultimate was a group of women who acted like they were filming a rap video, commandeered one of the terrace tables, and talked so loudly on their cell phones we could hear their conversation from four tables away. We learned that they were locals (from the suburbs) who came into town to party. They ordered nothing from the restaurants, were not guests of the hotel, but yet thought themselves entitled to be a nuisance The restaurant has a sign saying that only hotel guests and restaurant patrons can visit the terrace. They should enforce it. Maybe with the less chaotic environment the service can be less distracted.

The place has a beautiful view! But that's all he's got. The kitchen seems to me to leave a lot to be desired. Never ask for the eggplant because it tastes like nothing. I was in Chicago for a week and it was the only place where dirty martini seemed bad to me. The hostess that greeted us was pretty rough. We asked him for a table inside (since the ones outside are like a pool, too informal... and he told us they had everything booked. We asked Alejandro for a Latin gentleman who works there and he immediately resolved us. The semi empty restaurant all night. That's a bad thing. We booked in advance of a week to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of friends and had nothing special. In fact, it was the only place in Chicago where the food was mediocre. The city has an incredible gastronomic offer. The waiters Alejandro and Magaly were very friendly, the only rescue of the night. I recommend you go have a glass of wine, take some pictures, admire the view and go to dinner at another delicious place that abounds in Chicago!

The staff is always the best. Everyone you meet is super friendly. The food is wonderful too. And the view is just an added bonus.

When I think of the Trump Hotel brand I think of excellence. I am a Chicagoan who had never been to Trump Tower. Saw the terrace and thought it would be nice for our wedding anniversary. Too bad it was booked for a wedding so no outside dining. We were expecting a premium experience and instead got people dressed in shorts and tshirts in some cases. Wait staff was very personable and nice but some of the waitstaff attire gave it a “cafe” look from the 50’s. Because of this and it was a special occasion we decided to end our evening there after the appetizer course and dine elsewhere. Our waiter was very thoughtful and gave us a table side s’more dish and a few bottles of Evian as a courtesy. Very kind indeed. But this is not a great establishment. Its a higher end hotel cafe. Not for special occasions. .

My boyfriend chose you to eat for our anniversary night, and I wouldn’t have chosen any better place than this restaurant. I had such a wonderful anniversary day, and my waiter. Alex made it even more special for us. I want to thank him so much for giving the best service. He even offered to take our anniversary pictures that I will forever cherish❤️

No one has the kind welcome like a prison door, smiling seems to be a paid option 🙄. We waited 20 minutes our table located in a cold back room and without decoration. Cold lighting, candle consumed on our table and therefore not lit to warm the atmosphere. The food was disappointing. After a dozen restaurants visited in a week, this one reaches the podium in terms of high prices and will be the last in the class in terms of service and quality of dishes. I am increasingly wondering about the notion of Tripadvisor Winner.

I had lunch with a few friends at Terrace 16 and the host Jack was very helpful! He gave us many suggestions about the city and made such a positive impact on our trip! A wonderful first impression of the restaurant! I would definitely recommend the smores!

Beautiful location but service is catastrophical. 15’ for a coffee and 30’ more for an avocado toast. Crazy frankly…I was told by the waitress that 30’ was the standard for serving food…so unless you are very patient do not go

I visit Terrace 16 quite frequently and today was an absolute pleasure! Alex was, honest to God, amazing!! I never doubted The Trump Hotel and its premises, but tonight was something out of this world. Definitely recommend to visit it at least once in your life. Left after being ignored for an entire hour! Reservation for one, seated in a bar like location, but no wait staff ever came and waited on me, no cocktails were ever offered, and no order was ever taken for me to have a meal! I finally gave up and, on the way out, I asked the maitre de if he could see me because the wait staff seemed unable to. Bizarre and awful awful awful experience. Nice views though…..

Terrance 16 is the perfect place to go for a cocktail and a great time. Maurice at the front door instantly makes your experience enjoyable, and Guillermo behind the bar knocked it out of the park. The ambience and the views provide a great environment for a casual cocktail and some food.

Wonderful experience on Terrace 16. I went to celebrate my birthday with my wife and a couple of friends during our stay in Chicago. The restaurant impresses in every way. Very beautiful with a modern and imposing decor, a beautiful bar and a breathtaking view. To not miss less, very well-made drinks, tasty and well served dishes, good wine list and an excellent service from Razvan. Prices compatible with the location. I definitely recommend a visit.

Maurice at Terrace 16 in the Trump Tower was amazing! He is so welcoming and kind. He gave us a private tour of the bar and patio and took beautiful pictures. We will be back tomorrow just to see him!

Overall this restaurant is not good value. The food is overpriced and the atmosphere poor with banging techno at 7 in the evening. Service was professional and the food was good, but not outstanding by any means given the prices. My partner’s starter of avocado salad had a few dollars worth of ingredients neatly arranged on a plate. No bread. His main course was a kofta style dish which contained a piece of bone which nearly broke a tooth. My starter and main were well executed but I’ve had better meals for the price back in Brighton for less. The desserts were probably the best part of the meal and better value. The wine was good but at nearly $60 for a pleasant rose it brought the bill to $280 for two. Ouch! I don’t know why you’d come here unless you were staying at the hotel and were too lazy to venture outside. You might ask why we came here. So do we!

George was so nice! Food was so good. Ribs were delicious and the charcuterie board was very filling. George gave great wine recommendations and it paired with the spicy cheese. We were treated very well and everyone was so nice. Very good service

Great views from the rooftop in the warm weather. The drinks are expensive. Don't go unless it's warm out. The food was expensive also.

Thanks to Narcis Oros and Randy Reed we had an amazing experience!! The staff was professional and very helpful! The view makes the whole experience even more unique! I ordered a steak and it was beyond my expectations!! I will go back soon!!!

We spent an incredible day, celebrating our engagement, my future husband and I. We received the attention of Óscar Pérez who helped us with recommendations for dishes and drinks, all delicious. The view is spectacular and the atmosphere too. I recommend the lady peach cocktail.

Terrace 16 restaurant was great for Christmas Dinner. Mark was a wonderful server and had the upmost service. He was very attentive. He made our dinner a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend asking for him.

We went to terrace 16. Alex was a pleasant server, loved the suggestions and the insight about the food. If I come back I will request for him to help me. Maggy was also super nice. Food was absolutely incredible and tasty. The view is breathtaking for sure.

If you’re looking for a good quality and tasty dinner, you should 100% come here. The food is definitely worth the price. Our server, Alex, was probably the nicest and kindest waiter I’ve ever had, he had a smile on his face and was very good socially with us, served the food well, and did an outstanding job. Hector Neais, the man in charge that sat us at the table, was also amazing socially and helped us a lot with our dinner, very kind and nice guy. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and a great dinner.

We went there only for dinner at the Terrace 16 restaurant. It’s expensive but everything was amazing! If you want an upscale dining experience, 100% worth it. The service was also impeccable, our waited Alex was very nice, pleasant and funny the whole time. Dinner was great but he made our whole experience that much better!

Amazing experience at Terrace 16. We have enjoyed all of the best steak houses in Chicago and had low expectations for food but wanted a place with a stellar view. Not only did we get the view we were hoping for the food not only met expectations but exceeded. However, the standout was one of the best servers have ever had at a restaurant, Alex. From the moment we arrived we treated us like family. When asked if there were any specials he said “no, but let me ask chef if he has anything special”. Chef offered a massive filet that was perfect in every way. When ordering just two glasses of wine Alex said “hey I have a bottle of Caymus open how does that sound with your steak?” Cant rave enough about the experience that made our anniversary night perfect. As. A frequent Chicago visitor I will definitely be back.

From being welcomed and warmly greeted by the friendly maitre de, Maurice, to my pleasant waiter Ian, the evening was made so special for me. Maurice, Ian and another gentlemen, Jorge, all joined in and sang me happy birthday! They went the extra mile and it was appreciated!

We had Alex as our server and he was the best. The service he gave of us was phenomenal and he was very friendly. The seafood tower is delicious and the chocolate cake is top tier. The vibes here are fantastic. One of my favorite spots to eat at for sure.

We recently celebrated my husband's birthday with a dinner party at the Terrace 16. The restaurant has a new menu which is exquisite - I highly recommend it. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service top notch! Many thanks to Gabriel Constantin, Miguel, the Chef and the entire team at the Trump hotel for their incredible level of professionalism and 5 star hospitality. The restaurant is very elegant and it has the best view of the lake, the river and the city. Truly the best rooftop in the city - an absolute must!

The experience was a very beautiful and amazing and eye opening experience. The location of the restaurant was beautiful the decor and the staff are very professional and good service. The only issue i had was the quality of the food being a chef my wife and I were kinda disappointed with the steak tartar didn't make sense ...being chefs...we are strong believers that people eat with their eyes first and that presentation is very important. We didn't understand why you would put raw mushrooms on top of the tartar...it's just my opinion that it doesn't make sense as far as flow of a dish and it needed more acid to the combination. The ragu was very good and the halibut was good ...but once again for a bill of almost 400 dollars i believe these adlre the details that should be addressed for that amount of money we are paying and also the dress code should be enforced better u had woman walking around with like the butts literally hanging going out like strippers and people in shorts and flip flops....but aside from all that every thing else was good great views

We had a great dinner at Terrace 16, for our anniversary. Jorge M. was our server, and he did his best to make our night special. We had a great view by the window, my wife really loved it. We'll be back for sure!!!

You come for the view. Above the river, in the center of Chicago...as the sun goes down and the city lights up, there is nothing to compare with the location. You command the skyline, and look out over everything in crisp, fine detail. It is spectacular, and you have just exceeded the bounds of all known romance limits. Is it pricey? Of course. You're paying for the view. But here's the amazing thing: they could serve mediocre food, in a passable setting...but they don't. They triumph. Every bit of the experience transcends. The dishes are magnificent; decent (not huge) portions, finely prepared, with a nice variety of selections, from beef to seafood to a few vegetable choices. The furniture and trappings are all luxe, giving you pampered comfort and serene delight. But the thing that puts this over the top, the element that truly makes this a world-class experience: the service. Jorge M was warm, funny, professional, knowledgeable, and just an exemplary guide throughout the meal. Oscar backed him up well, as did the other staff member (I want to say Maria, but I may be mistaken) who made us supremely comfortable. And I never got to meet the bartender, but the incomparable talent that created the most perfect Vesper martinis we've ever had the pleasure of consuming is an artist and a wizard. This was not a cheap meal. It is not meant to be. It is an experience, one that should be shared with someone very special, and treasured. We can't thank Jorge and Terrace 16 enough.

As first time experience to Terrace 16, it was all I had expected, the night view along with the ambient was great & the food was amazing! our host Alex was super nice and gave suggestions on drinks and food! couldn't ask for a great first time experience. 10/10 will be coming back!

Incredible view of the river, skyline and lake.  Enjoyed the large terrace open space and privacy.  Had a "City Never Sleeps" cocktail.  Excellent drinks - not watery.  Great courteous service by Ciam our waiter and the bar manager Hector Neris.  Highly recommend it for a great view, fantastic service and drinks.

Great location with fabulous views! A group of us visited on Friday afternoon for drinks. The views are so stunning! I had a glass of fizz and my husband had a non alcoholic beer. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was great. Friendly staff. The terrace was quiet but the restaurant was busy inside. We stayed just over an hour.

Unfortunately, after making a reservation for Terrace 16 weeks in advance, my girlfriend and I were told that there was an hour wait upon arrival.. We then went to Rebar, where we met Maurice. He kindly greeted us and then got into our current situation. He then proceeded to do his best to get us into Terrace 16. Not 15 min later, we were seated outside with a spectacular view! Much thanks to Maurice, our weekend getaway was complete. Much thanks to him!

We started the evening at Terrace 16 with Jennifer, "the Hostess with the Mostess, who recommended we check out the Rebar on the 2nd floor after dinner. We then met the Host of Rebar, Maurice. The decision to spend the evening at Terrace 16 can be described as an absolute highlight of our 6-night stay in Chicago. Starting with the great reception, the ambience, the great terrace for the Apero with a wonderful all-round view, as well as the friendly, competent care, the excellent food & wine selection has made this visit an experience! Best view in Chicago of lake and waterway. Have eaten breakfast in the past and food is good. Service is as you would expect from a Trump branded establishment. If in the area during Christmas, have to check out the elevators, fabulously decorated.

Had dinner in Trump terrace 16 tonight with my Wife and Daughter . My wife treated us for our birthdays 🎂 .The service food and drinks were excellent it was a pleasure to dine here. What can I say about the Terrace Restaurant at T Tower? One word: resplendent. From the delectable seafood tower, to the delightful canapés, every bite was delicious. Arriving at Terrace 16 my wife and I immediately noticed the large sweeping panoramic views of the city through the 30-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and expected this is to be an excellent establishment. Soon after, that expectation was reinforced by the first-class customer service we received. Our host was Angel, and she was considerate in holding the window-side table she selected for us while we desired to enjoy cocktails at the bar. She went out of her way to stop by and tell us to enjoy ourselves and let her know when we would like to be seated. Roxana was our server, and her enthusiasm was catchy and enjoyable. She was also helpful in making recommendations on the many appealing menu entrées that made it difficult to choose, and her recommendation could not have been better. We recommend Terrace 16 for its comfortable setting, city views and menu, and as important its first-class customer service which enhances a visit.

The Terrance 16 has the best customer service, Carlos was very knowledgeable of the whole menu from appetizers, entres to drinks. The food is amazing as well!!!! The view is breathtaking, beautiful outdoor terrance!

We ate at Terrace 16…the food and drinks were outstanding, the view is breathtaking and our server Razvan was exceptional!! We’ll definitely be back. The only downside…the bathroom needed attention so I alerted the staff and I’m sure it was taken care of promptly.

Eating at Terrace 16 was AMAZING, we had the BEST service and the food was to die for, the ambiance was incredible ! My wife and I will 100% be coming back again. I will most definitely tell my friends to make this a must stop for when they visit Chicago !

Terrace 16 offers an interesting view from the dining area and their brunch was average. The waiter attempted to bring us a birthday offering which was interesting considering we weren't celebrating a birthday. The overall service was so poor that we decided the automatic gratuity was beyond sufficient. We left a zero on the additional tip line. Evidently the waiter decided an extra five dollars would be even better. Our bank statement indicated that an additional five dollars was billed to our visa card, without our consent. We spoke with the managers who assured us they would credit the account and look into the problem. Three managers later, the account was charged an additional $2008.00 and our credit card was shut down as it triggered fraud protection. Another call to yet another manager resulted in apologies but nothing to compensate for the hassle of having to go a week without a credit card and having to assign multiple personal services a new primary credit card. We filed a Better Business Bureau complaint to which Terrace 16 did not respond to. If you're going to Terrace 16, take some cash.

Our server, Ian, was fantastic! He was so fast with our drinks, food was delicious and served on a timely matter. He was friendly, kind, and polite. We need more Ian's in this world.

This spot is such a treat to go to! If you're looking for great ambiance and a really nice evening out, then this is the place to go. The restaurant has wrap-around floor to ceiling windows that overlook the outdoor terrace, where you can also eat in the warm weather. The view of downtown and the Chicago river is spectacular. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and classy. They treat you like you matter and bend over backward to make your experience a great one! We had probably the best gourmet burgers with the best potato wedges I've ever had. Alex, our waiter, went above and beyond, to find me what I was looking for. The beverage I asked about, wasn't on the menu, so he and the bartender created one for me! It was delicious! They asked about special dietary needs as well. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and spectacular staff. You won't be disappointed.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday and decided to have dinner at Terrace 16. Alex greeted us and gave us outstanding service. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and we left really impressed. Thank you.

Overall this restaurant is not good value. The food is overpriced and the atmosphere poor with banging techno at 7 in the evening. Service was professional and the food was good, but not outstanding by any means given the prices. My partner’s starter of avocado salad had a few dollars worth of ingredients neatly arranged on a plate. No bread. His main course was a kofta style dish which contained a piece of bone which nearly broke a tooth. My starter and main were well executed but I’ve had better meals for the price back in Brighton for less. The desserts were probably the best part of the meal and better value. The wine was good but at nearly $60 for a pleasant rose it brought the bill to $280 for two. Ouch! I don’t know why you’d come here unless you were staying at the hotel and were too lazy to venture outside. You might ask why we came here. So do we!

What an amazing experience we had at Terrace 16 in the Trump Hotel, a truly special time was had. The food itself was terrific, a blend of flavours we’d never seen before. The atmosphere was terrific and the service itself, was also terrific. My colleague and I made the spontaneous decision to walk into TRUMP Hotel. As first timers to both TRUMP Hotel and Chicago, we had no idea what to expect. We made our way up to the restaurant where we were greeted by the very kind hostess, Genesis. We were trying to decide on what to drink and the manager, whose name is Luis, quickly alleviated our indecision by offering us a place to sit of our choice. He gave us both complimentary wine tastings and an amazing tour of the different views of the beautiful Chicago city and river from the restaurant and bar. It was very apparent Luis' main priority was to make his guests feel welcomed and represent TRUMP Hotel with utmost integrity. He made our experience exceptional, and we will definitely be back!

We went to Terrace 16 with a large group for brunch. It was St Patrick's Day celebrations in Chicago when they dye the river green. Mirielle got us a great table overlooking the river and made us feel special! Bagpipers pass through the restaurant and played for us. We were able to walk out on the balcony and watch the boats when they started dying the river. The food was excellent. It was very relaxing to be up there, away from the crowded streets below. Overall, a great downtown Chicago experience at the Trump Towers.

Ate at the terrace 16 restaurant for my husbands birthday our server Alex gracias (I believe that was his last name) was nothing but the best! He recommended us to the most delicious plates and drinks! Gave us a 10/10 service experience! He even brought out a cake for my husband and sang happy birthday! Couldn’t be more happy!

I went with my family to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and overall it was a nice evening except for one detail that unfortunately spoiled it a bit . Starting with the positive points: we eat well, they offered a small cake to my daughter with a candle and the waitress was kind. Negative points: it's definitely expensive and at a certain time, without warning, they lock the doors to the terrace so you can't go out to see the wonderful view for which I'm sure so many customers go to this place. Now if someone makes a reservation at a place called "Terrace 16" it does also (in my case especially) because of the location and the beautiful view from its terrace. We had decided, after dinner, to go to the terrace to take pictures just to remember such an important date (my daughter was turning 21) in such a beautiful place. Too bad that at 9:30pm, when we finished dinner, we were told that it was no longer possible to go to the terrace because it closed at 9pm and that we would have to go earlier. No one had warned us before. Honestly this ruined our evening a little bit. I suggest the staff give notice of the terrace closing so aticipated so that you could go there earlier. Honestly without the plus of the location (as the terrace), I don't know if the price is justified. Really a shame because it would have been a perfect evening!

We were walking around Chicago looking for a good place to have lunch and came across Trump Tower Hotel. Terrace 16 did not disappoint! For starters the views are incredible! We were greeted by the lovely local hostess, Jennifer, who found a sweet little table with cozy chairs by the window for us. David, our friendly Irish waiter was so charming and funny, and had good recommendations for the meal. The food was delicious! I wish I could go back again today for the food, the view and the excellent staff who made the meal special. Thank you Jennifer and David for your smiles and hospitality! The Amish Chicken was amazing! The setting and service from Alex was top notch! Alex was a great server and was very friendly. We went for our anniversary and got a delicious dessert. I want to stress that the people who worked here were wonderful, my rating has nothing to do with them, strictly the quality of the meal. I was excited to eat here, as the menu looked very promising. When we arrived the view was spectacular. Beautiful line straight down the river. As the sun set it was picturesque. However, this isn't a viewpoint, it's a restaurant, and that's where it really fell short. We were here for a business dinner and we were a large group, so we ordered family style since we all wanted to try many items from the menu, which we did. The food served here was severely lacking in flavor, it was quite ordinary. The meats were cooked OK, but needed more flavor. The accompaniments were equally as depressing. We were all shocked that such a prominent restaurant would be this bland. If you are coming here for the view and to take pics, it's totally worth it. But the meal here was simply not to expectations.

Terrace 16 is the restaurant within Trump International where I was staying. Up until recently it was a Michelin starred enterprise called Sixteen, it’s a rather more casual affair now & I found the whole experience underwhelming. Yes, it has great views, but there are myriad rivals in that department. The main restaurant is an odd shape, the decor quite featureless & I found the music tinny. Perhaps with the terrace open, full of bods, I’d perceive it in a different light, & I do note that many previous reviewers have only praise. My meal was tasty enough & not overpriced, & service friendly & efficient, but I’m afraid Terrace 16 was my least favourite dining experience during a week in Chicago.

My family had the best time at Terrace16 this weekend. Our drinks were beautifully presented and the service was incredible. There were plenty of seats and tables to choose from when we arrived. And you can't beat that spectacular view down the river! I would definitely recommend this spot to all my friends and can't wait to come back.

The most amazing people/service/drinks in Chicago! From the manager, Vito to our favorite server Alex, they make every moment amazingly special! I can’t thank them enough nor put into words how much they mean to us every time we visit!

We walked into the rooftop bar an hour ahead of our reservation and were warmly greeted by Sally. A beautiful and engaging woman made us feel more than welcome! There was a cool breeze and thoughtful Maurice showed up with a cozy blanket for my wife with a warm knowing smile. The cocktails were as good as you would expect and the view was as well. Stop by and meet Sally and Maurice and begin or end your evening in perfect fashion.

Visited this establishment yesterday for supper. The only standout feature is the balcony, which offers a lovely view over the city. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Service was genuinely shocking. There is no table service on the balcony — you’re required to go to the bar yourself, and even then, drinks may or may not be brought to your table. Food is outright refused on the balcony, which is baffling considering it’s the venue’s only real unique selling point. The food itself was mediocre at best and grossly overpriced — a simple steak exceeded $78. The wine list was extremely limited and more reminiscent of a canteen than anything remotely resembling fine dining. To top it all off, a 20% tip was automatically added to the bill. When questioned, we were told this happens “at all Trump establishments to make life easier for the customer.” Frankly, that’s laughable. First visit — and certainly the last. A good view does not make up for poor food, bad service, and inflated prices.

Maurice at Terrace 16 was as good as the view from here! He helped us out when we clearly were clueless about the amenities that this place offered, yet in a friendly way. The drinks were spot on, staff amazing, and a must be when in Chicago!

This place is great when it’s not overly crowded and crazy busy. I had a business dinner with some of my colleagues on a tuesday evening and i couldn't be more happier with the service. Our waiter Sanaa was very kind and attentive, taking the steps of actually pacing out our meals, being very knowledgeable on the bourbons we wanted and the drinks were on time this time around. I come here frequently because of work meetings and it was a breath of fresh air since past service experience always lacked some intellect. We felt really valued. Looking forward to more service like this!

Hosted my wedding brunch at Terrace 16. Staff was well above expectations and friendly. Maria was super attentive and supportive after my party had an out-of-our-control itinerary change. Food was excellent and I would definitely recommend.

I visited the restaurant with my daughter in ław. Amazing place with breathtaking, panoramic view. Our server Alex was 100 % attentive, made sure we have everything we need, other staff was kind, polite. Looks like restaurant is managed by great management. Food was delicious, tasty. We ate Avocado salad and Ceasars salad. We also got glass of champaign.

Walk in the restaurant for breakfast. From the host, server, busser and especially the manager, Mr Paran were welcoming. Great atmosphere especially the view. The food was cooked the way i requested and seasoned and plated well. Will definitely come back. Thank you.

I was disappointed with the service. I came with my people out of town. No attention to detail. The waiter was lovely but really inexperienced, we ordered several items including a burger which we asked for medium done and it came well done and dry. Escargot dish was very tasty, had steak tartare, lamb and Korean chicken nothing to write home about. Gratuity is included in the bill but was definitely not earned. Not once did our waiter ask if we needed anything else, we had to ask another waiter for more wine. The staff seemed unorganised and inattentive. Water glasses were not topped up. Have been here many times before, time to try somewhere else. Hate spending money when you come away wishing you had gone somewhere else.

LOVE CHICAGO’S Terrace 16!!! Alex our server was ALWAYS so accommodating with our food, drinks and every requests!!! He frequently came to our table to ensure that the party guests were getting their drinks, salmon the way they like it and made sure to make our stay very special. The food here is just top notch quality and the view is just breathtaking! I highly recommend you visit if is your first time in Chicago as you will certainly be impressed with every part of the dining experience. I was at the Terrence 16 restaurant to have dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and professional. Ian was my server he took excellent care of me. The drinks for ice cold and the food came up nice and hot. Would highly recommend for anyone to come try.
