Real American place

By Ricardo M |

When you come to Miami you find every kind of food from other cultures, but my friends took us to Texas Roadhouse, a original Texas food restaurant, excellent decor, friendly services and delicious food, specially sirloine steak and pork on BB sauce, if you come to Miami you have to taste an original American flavor!!!

HIJAAA!!!! What a nice dinner!!!

By Juan307 |

The waiting was like 10 minutes, the place was pack to the max, you can fill paper bags with peanuts meanwhile waiting, the waiter was great ( Kate), finally some good customer service in Miami, the food it was very good, really good quality steaks, they have dinner rolls made by them every 5 minutes to die for with a butter even better.Once in a while the waiter dance country line dance and that is a plus to the whole ambiance. The price was very reasonable and we were all satisfied.

Like Logans? You will like this too

By Marviech |

Visited this restaurant and thought it was like Logans Roadhouse in Orlando. But honestly the streak is better and the bread and butter in combination with the cinnamon are spectacular . A good fast service. Very clean. Good prices too. Will recomend.

Best hand cut beef of the SW

By TatsRamos |

This is our most recent discovery and we couldn't be happier! One of the best hand cut beef in Miami, very juicy and cooked to perfection. The service was super nice, kind and abundant, sometimes slow, but in general, it was good. All the workers are so joyful and energetic that they make you feel welcomed since you enter this country-style eatery. In fact, they even do some line dancing whenever they jingle of the restaurant is played. By the way, the music is super nice --finally, something that is not the distasteful reggaeton you listen all over Miami. At the entrance, there is a big sign warning you about the peanut shells you will see all over the floor. They are not kidding! It is a theme: The peanuts-in-a-bucket is fantastic and the perfect excuse to spend several hours talking, having drinks and sharing with friends. We had the hand cut sirloin accompanied with corn, rice, beans, and broccoli. I must say the vegetables were a complete disappointment. The broccoli was overcooked, and for a minute I was convinced the green beans were canned. They were mushy, with a metallic taste and truly bad -like a retirement home self-serve sort of dish -- ; nevertheless, the remedy is very simple: we will ask for something else next time. The menu offers a wide arrange of options, all of them being staple tasty American food. The portions are big so we didn't have space for the sweets, but I did ask and they don't have a big menu, yet they do offer the classics (Ice cream, brownies, cheesecake, apple pie).

Excellent Food, Excellent Customer Service

By MHE2012 |

This restaurant just recently opened in Miami. We went for a late lunch, early dinner. The restaurant was packed. We waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated. They do not take reservations but they do have "Call ahead seating." You call when you are on your way there and they will put your name on the waiting list. Our server was very pleasant. We all order steaks. When they brought our food, two of our steaks were not cooked like we had ordered them. They took them back to make sure they were cooked the way we had requested them. When they came back with the steaks a second time, they made sure that they were cooked to our liking. My daughter's steak was a little more done than medium well but she was so hungry that she ate it like that. To my surprise even when the steaks are well-done they are not dry or burned. Our waitress noticed that my daughter's steak had not been served as she requested. And she genuinely seemed upset about it. We told her, that it was fine, that it was good regardless. A few minutes later one of the managers showed up to our table and informed us that my daughter's order had been taken off the bill. WOW! In Miami, there are not many restaurants (that are not super expensive) were they actually care that your food was made the way your order it. We will definately be coming back. Great service by all!!!

Best Steak Restaurant for the Value

By JavierSotomayor |

I was very surprised to have found a nice steak place in this area, since most of the steak places in & around of Doral are overpriced and service is terrible. But I went there the other day with the family and everything was excellent. We were actually going towards Outback Steakhouse, and saw this place on Flagler and decided to try it out. It's the reborn version of the Roadhouse Steakhouse that was originally on 87th Ave. More light, more ambiance, and better service. Peanut buckets are still in every table, but at least people are not throwing the shells on the floor. Food order came in perfectly served, steaks were cooked as ordered, and portions are very very generous. I am so pleased to have found this place. My new favorite steak place! oh oh... almost forgot... the bread - WOW!

Disappointment!

By Bea25 |

Really bad service! it was my first "penny" as a tip in many many years! The bread is delicious....and the meet very dry. You cannot compare the meet quality of the Roadhouse in Houston Texas with this in Miami.

Sparerips & Salmon

By racetony |

The Texas Roadhouse is a worth a visit. Size of portion is huge. Don't order too much of food. I usually eat more than a regular person and was not able to finish the half size ribs with its starters. Service is just great.

waste of money

By Peter K |

the ribeye was very fatty and thin the seasoning was very salty which killed the taste of the meat. I will not return to this restaurant and would not recommend anyone else. I doubt it was 12 oz. too.

We really missed a Roadhose like this one in Miami

By Jose Miguel Velazquez |

The place has excellent service staff, many, and the meals are definitely very full of nice flavors. Very well decorated and you can select which steak you want to eat. I would recommend to people than like good service and food. The Ribeye steaks are fantastic. Very good atmosphere.

A great meal

By ct-cruisers |

We came here for an early dinner. I had salmon while my wife ordered the 6 oz. sirloin. My salmon with rice was very good. My wife's steak was cooked perfectly and she said it was very tender. We were both very pleased with our meals.

Great food and service

By HectorFL |

Went to dinner last night. The steaks were very good as well as the side orders. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. The wait for a table can be long as they do not take reservations. Their rolls are fresh and very good. Free parking.

Twilight Zone meets West Miami Restaurant

By Tony F |

I have been to the Texas Roadhouse but only in Texas and it was a few years ago. So when some friends suggest us going there after a long day of hiking, I remembered good times at my previous visits. Texas Roadhouse seemed to be modeled exactly the same after other locations. Pails of peanuts are everywhere and peanut shells adorn the floors. We initially went to the bar and the idea of a margarita sounded great. I asked our bartender who was by and far the best employee of this evening, for a top shelf margarita. She directed me to the drink menu and it was confusing. Finally I learn that you can't simply have a top shelf margarita. You have to order one of their pre-made margarita mixes that contain very cheap, bottom of the barrel tequila already in it... then you can add a shot of a top shelf tequila on top. Does that make any sense??? Reluctantly I ordered one with an extra shot of patron. YECH! Terrible taste and it went to waste. We were sat at a table nearby however it took quite some time for the server to arrive. Another case where a server forgets MANY items and we have to remind him over and over again of what we ordered. It was difficult to simply get our water glasses refilled. Seems our server was much better at singing birthday hymns and dancing around throughout the evening rather than being a competent server. The food really didn't jump out. Steaks had to be thrown back on the grills, appetizers like the boneless chicken wings seemed more raw than cooked. There were certainly a number of food hiccups. The food and poor service did not equate to the high amount that we paid for dinner. I can say with all confidence that this was the last time I would ever eat here or at any other Texas Roadhouse.

Good food and upbeat place

By Canesbiggdogg |

Went there for dinner. ALl the food we had was good to include steaks, pulled pork, ribs and shrimp. The only down side was our waitress was never around. No water no check I had to keep asking other servers for what i needed.

Great place for family dinner

I went in that place with my kids for dinner and was very surprised with great quality of foods and service. The steaks were really tender, juicy and very tasty. The service was very fast and the waiter was very friendly.

Grand Opening Day

By Tabaer42 |

It's always nice to have a new steak house or just a new restaurant in the area. I took my wife here the Friday before Mother's Day and only a few days actually after their Grand Opening. I enjoyed the meal and the decor of the restaurant is top notch. Maybe because it was the Grand Opening week and Mother's Day weekend. But the staff and service was excellent. I hope they continue to keep that kind of service the whole time. I love the fact that there are free peanuts at all the tables and even a self serve peanut barrel at the front door for while you wait. The only negative I have for the visit. They ran out of my wife's favorite steak, Prime Rib by 7:00pm and only opened up at 4:00pm. Other than that. I liked it a lot and will go back again! P.S. They do provide a call ahead service. It's kind of like a reservation. You call ahead with the time you will be there and the number of people in the party. They don't guarantee you a table once you get there. But they do promise to try and have a table ready as close to that time for you so you don't too long compared to someone who just walked up and asked for a table with the same size party.

Coldest beer in Miami

By MVPGA |

My wife and I love eating at this place . My wife loves the chicken salad and I love the draft beer , like I said on the Title , very possible the coldest beer in Miami. The steaks are really good and last but not least the peanuts , the kids really like eating them and making a mess .

Melt in your mouth

By gonoyo |

Didn't know about call ahead seating so we waited 30 min which went by fast while we munched on complimentary peanuts. We were greeted by great waitress and basket of rolls, they melt in your Mouth. Hubby had porterhouse and I had sirloin. Both were delicious. Service was nice and friendly Will go again soon.

My server Karlie went and above & beyond! Great experience with her and I recommend anyone coming to this location request her to be your server! Food was amazing per usual! With inflation who needs a fancy steakhouse when roadhouse does the job!

To come back in our hôtel 2 very sympathiques waiteurs helped us whith they own phone like a hot spot to conect us to UBER. What a pity to dont be connected for a restaurant like that... Brought back memories of old Roadhouse Grill

By Clarinecuze |

This is a great substitute for those that previously enjoyed the old Roadhouse Grill. I was so sad when they closed down! This may, by all accounts, be the same owner, as the food and environment are very similar, down to the barrel of peanuts at the entrance and the strewn peanut shells on the floor. They had a very lively atmosphere. I ordered a steak and it was very good! Very good flavors! Loved their spur of the moment line dancing - wanted to join in! Made my country heart happy! Glad to add this to my repertoire of restaurants at my disposal.

Very Good Steak dinner and Very Good Service

By Richard F |

This was my first time at a Texas Roadhouse and I thought both the food and the service were very good. Our server, Justin, greeted us almost immediately upon sitting down and continued to check on us frequently throughout the evening. I will be back.

Good food, not expensive

By SandroG51971 |

I went with my wife for lunch and we found that the prices were very reasonable. They have lunch specials from monday to Thursdays until 5 pm . If you like peanuts there tons for you t ok eat while waiting; it reminds me road house. The only questionable situation was that my waitress was not smiling at all, other than that you can have a good time. This place is kids friendly.

Saddle Up!

By AutumnRose2014 |

Texas Roadhouse is very similar to Roadhouse we had here in Miami years ago until they were gone from sight. However while visiting this place with a new name did it remind me of that restaurant. When I arrived it was full and the music was playing to give it that Texan atmosphere. There was the famous barrel of peanuts to pick from including a bucket found at your table. Despite the place brig loud with the music and TV, it wasn't all that bad. The server I had that night was attentive and did serve well. So I do give credit for a decent service from the waiter. For appetizer did I order the Cactus Blossom, which is the same concept as they have in OutBack with the onions. In my opinion, it tasted greasy and a bit of a kick taste but not spicy and I preferred the one at OutBack more than this one I ate. I ordered the 8 .oz Dallas filet with loaded baked potatoes and a cup of chile. It was cooked fine to me and I enjoyed the size and amount of sour cream, cheese, and bacon it had. The cup of chile is not spicy for those who are not spicy lovers. It did contain cheese on top and I liked it despite of it not being the best chile I had before. However it was decent enough to eat. For dessert I had the Apple Granny Pie which is basically apple pie with a large scoop of ice cream and caramel sauce. It wasn't the greatest but still edible. The restaurant is not bad overall. It is a decent place for a causal night out. It's a place that I'll come back to every once in a while. And remember that the food here is as they say in Texas, "Everything is big in Texas".

Not Bad For A Chain Steak Place

By celainej1 |

This restaurant reminds me of a now defunct steak place because of the peanuts and rolls, and the food is just as good. They offer a good selection of steaks as well as a couple seafood and chicken entrees for those that are on the red meat wagon. Our waitress was quick and anticipated our needs from start to finish, the steaks were done right with not too much seasoning. The baked potato was perfect and the selection of other sides was sufficient for just about anyone. Even the sweet tea was good without being too sweet. My one complaint is that they only open for lunch on the weekends and Friday, so if you're looking for a mid-week lunch look elsewhere. All in all, it was exactly what I expected; not horribly over-priced and good enough to get me to come back.

Meat & Bread

By Stan J. Dominick |

Been to this one twice, both times were very good. The steak was great and their sweet bread with the cinnamon butter is excellent. The service is great as well and everyone is courteous. They also give Veteran and Military 15% discounts, just show your ID and the waitress has the Manager take 15% of your check. Another one just opened up in Florida City, everything there is the same as the Flagler Restaurant. Both are excellent and give the discounts.

Good Food in a Festive Environment

By ricks469 |

We had a good meal and enjoyed our time in conversation. Most of the food was very good. Plenty of bread and sweetened butter. My porterhouse steak was prepared to order and both flavorful and satisfying. My house salad was plentiful and tasty and I had a very nice baked sweet potato. The ribs were also good. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

excellent place to eat ,drink and relax after a long day of work or for an special occasion.

By Jorge B |

hello dear friend from all over the world ,if you come to miami this is a good restaurant to visit, last night after a long day working my wife and i went there ,we had a great time .

Service was not great

By Saltydoggal55 |

Went with family to celebrate my birthday. The food was awesome. My steak was melt in your mouth good. I only gave it a 3 because our salad plates were not removed when our food arrived. A small table was given to us for 6 grown adults and a baby. To say we were crowded is an understatement. Nobody asked if we would like refills. As we tried to cut the cake none of our dinner plates were removed. The waitress brought us cake plates but had no room to put them. We had to ask to please clear the table. Other than that the food was enjoyable.

Affordable date nights

By Katrina M |

Looking for an affordable steak around town, this spot is definitely the way to go. Just for $50 or less you can get a good amount of food and some of their special margharitas as well. And don’t forget to try their complimentary bread, definitely worth those carbs. Can’t forget about the great service we received as well and how knowledgeable our server was.

OK food, good atmosphere and service

By Bee3636 |

Like the atmosphere of this place. Staff lively and very attentive. Food overall good. Few missing ingredients in the salad on 2 occasions, but quickly corrected when pointed out. Would go again.

best modestly price steakhouse in dade county

By rene2014123 |

located on west flagler st and 91 av, decided to give it try with my wife, we are both very disappointed at longhorn and outback, well, it was great, I had the big T-bone and wife the new York strp, both cooked to perfection and tender, going back with family this weekend.

This is no outback, that's for sure!

By Caryrios01 |

It was an OK experience, definitely no Outback. The food was decent but not worth what we paid for. The bread rolls with cinnamon butter were good. The steak and ribs we ordered were OK. the steak was not very flavorful, the ribs did not come with the meal and by the time it came out we were ready to go. The chili was pretty good. The Salmon was not bad. They gave me a Caesar salad with one crouton. The service was OK, they were very busy so it was kind of hard to get the waiter's attention. I did enjoy the little cowboy dance they did during our time there. Would I go back? Eh... I don't know, the food is not terrible, I just don't want to pay that amount for food that wasn't up to par.

Lunch at the Roadhouse

By John J |

My nephew decided to take me to lunch and we both like Texas Roadhouse, so that was our choice. Our server was polite and friendly and smiled alot, and that always makes the meal better. I ordered a Half Slab of ribs with baked potato and corn and my nephew got the Country Fried Steak with fries. The bread rolls were outstanding, as always, and soft and warm. The food came quickly and everything was hot. My ribs were tender and the smoky sauce was good without taking over all the flavor. The Country Fried Steak was good and crunchy, but I thought the white gravy was lacking. Maybe some extra pepper or seasonings would help it along. All in all, it was a good lunch and we'll be back soon.

First and only

By Shaun_SWO |

Was expecting a lot more from Texas Roadhouse but found a want to be Logan's. Rolls are fresh but food itself was dry and over cooked. Not the quality and freshness that was expected. Service from waiter was subpar. Environment was loud and TVS were hard to see from certain areas. Disappointed

Nice visit

By Robak2018p |

Greeted immediately and seated with the rolls but the first batch was hard and did not taste like the normal bread I was worried corporate changed them but the second batch was like normal (good) Had the pulled pork dinner that I put on the rolls as bbq sandwiches great taste and the waiter was great came back to check on the table brought refills on the drinks.

Good prices and service

Wonderful Place to eat

By Jorge G |

We have a wonderful time with my family great steaks Good drinks , nice people the service was great Everything was serve like we ask for our server was very polite

Mediocre at best

By Mari H |

The place was packed. Went for lunch after church with a gift card I got for my birthday. As soon as we came in we were given two pairs of peanuts and yeast rolls with some kind of butter. First downer, if you get the peanuts, you can’t eat the bread, then the bread gets hard as a rock, and of course nobody comes to ask if you need more...I had a free appetizer for my birthday, we chose the Blooming onions. To my taste, they were too raw. To be fair, my husband liked them, I couldn’t eat them...I had the ribs, again, nothin to write home about. They did fall off the bone but the taste was blah. The baked potato looked like the Outback’s one, but the taste, Nah. My husband ordered the chicken with portobello mushrooms and he thought it was good but a bit salty. I forgot about the salads. The Caesar was as bland as could be. House was ok. The clincher came when we went to pay. Our server, who bynthe way, was very efficient, tells us that they cannot use two promotions at the same time, it was either the free appetizer or the gift card. I told him in a very nice manner, that a gift card is NOT a promotion, it is paid for at full price. I had to tell him three times and then ask for the manager, at which time, he came back and said he would put them both in. Needless to say, I will not be going there again. Their only redeeming feature is that all the servers had t-shirts that said “we love our troops” outside of that,,,👎👎👎👎

Legendary Food ! Legendary Service ! Spot on !

By toto l |

Day four :: ::::::::::: Nov 5 to Nov 8 last day in Miami >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> It is our last day in vibrant Miami before we depart our 7 night cruise to Caribbean tomorrow , we had a lovely dinner at the Texas Roadhouse downtown , Oh Boy ! I been eating none stop since we arrived on Wed lot of seafood , so we both agree tonight will be Steak night not a 5 stars fancy old classic steakhouse like in Vegas , but budget friendly there set up and concept almost like Montana BBQ house in Canada , multiple location across US special in Taxes ! the place is packed but we got seated right away , very noisy with my flavor country music in the back ground , lot of tourist and local family dinning if you a carnivorous person like me , this is your Kingdom of heaven ! you can choose any steak and size you fancy ! menu is more like Southern cuisine , lot of selection it is no shortage choice variety steak , my girl love her delicious N.Y (M ) nicely done , she was so shocked that my 24 0z Ribeye so hung enough to share , simply stunning so tender juicy and flavourful , not the most expensive Prime pick , but still a excellent Choice cut like music in my ear , also the Cactus Blossom and the fresh baked rolls with the amazing cinnamon butter so unique , attentive friendly service also very energetic her station so busy but still come to our tablet few times to make sure we are happy and full , happy to say 100% this restaurant for sure is not tourist trap , good pricing great choices of Steak top notch food ! No room for desert . truly this is number one restaurant in Miami for me !

Go now while is new!

By OPSilver |

This restaurant reminds me of the Roadhouse at Sunset and 117 Avenue (years ago). This one is totally country, loud and with the familiar barrel of peanuts! Our experience was definitely pleasant! The Cactus Blossom (Onion Blossom) was good but of course way too greasy. The Texas Rec Chili was good and not spicy. Dallas Filet was tender, flavorful and cooked exactly as ordered. The ribeye was a little bit tough and lack seasoning. Loaded Potato was really delicious. Yummy rolls with cinnamon butter. Service was fast and courteous. All together was a nice experience and we will be back - and I hope things do not change.

Not as good as usual

By Iralgo |

We eat at Texas Roadhouse restaurants pretty frequent around the country. This place is not up to par. Never received the rolls and butter until I asked after we were almost finished with our meals. Had to ask for an be ice tea refill three times. My wife's six ounce sirloin steak was larger than my eight ounce steak. My steak was dry. When we questioned the server we were double talked. Rating...fair.

Great

By Cinthya31 |

Good food and good service. I've been there like 3 or 4 times in the past couple of months since it opened. I love it and so does my family. Always order the same thing because the sirloin is to die for. LOVE LOVE LOVE their bread and cinnamon butter. There tends to be a longish (30-45 minutes) wait time, similar to Chili's, if you go Friday or Saturday nights but TOTALLY worth it.

great food

By rab7772017 |

Good service; seated quickly as had rung ahead. Staff very attentive. Food was good and desert was very nice, warm choc brownie is a must.

NO RIBS

By Canesbiggdogg |

Took the wife and girls for dinner at a Saturday night at 6pm. We ordered the potato skins to start and they brought them after we got our dinner. I ordered the ribs and they did not have any on a Saturday. The server did not really come by much either. Not the best experience.

Dinner at the Roadhouse

By rkbully14 |

My wife and I had dinner at this establishment on our last day in Miami. This was a great choice. The wait staff was warm, and friendly. Our food was hot and very good. The rolls are to die for with cinnamon butter. My steak was great, and my wife's ribs were great as well. We really enjoyed our dinner there. We will return there when we are in the area.

Steaks,Steaks,Steaks !!!

By RJBAQ |

On a busy and crowded Sunday afternoon, wait time for a table was 5 minutes!! =The complementary warm done on premises bread with butter is out of this world...Menu is plentiful, specially when meats are concerned and variety of cuts. Service was excellent and dance show provided by servers was very original. Ye-haw !!!!

Great Place.

Excellent attention, menu, drinks and preparation of meats. Delicious margarita drink. Fast service 💯 I recommend it

Ruined my girlfriends 24th birthday

By Taylor Davis |

I was visiting from Illinois and I wanted to take my girlfriend somewhere nice for her 24th birthday(I am a lesbian, born a woman). After a couple hours of looking and running behind on reservations to Ruth Chris we ended up choosing Texas Roadhouse and honestly it was the worst experience I’ve had at any fast food restaurant. My servers name was Javi, he was slightly older mid 30s, and he was AMAZING. We told him it was our first time and it was her birthday, he explained the menu perfectly, got us our appetizers quickly as well as our drinks. We ordered our food and while waiting on the food my girlfriend and I went to use the washroom. When we walked into the restroom there was an employee in there texting on her phone and she left once we came inside. Three minutes later another employee comes into the bathroom, my girlfriend and I were finishing up washing our hands. The second employee acted as if she was about to clean the restroom, then she said “You do know your in the women’s restroom right?” My girlfriend was confused to what she was referring to and responded, “Excuse me, did we go into the males?” The employee then responded very rudely looking me into the eye, “Uhm YOU DO KNOW YOUR IN THE WOMENS RESTROOM RIGHT?” (Insinuating that I was a man in the women’s restroom) I responded saying, “Yes ma’am I do know we are in the women’s bathroom, I am a women. I just wear clothes comfortable to my needs. Pay attention before you ask questions.” She ran out to grab a kitchen manager, once that manager came into the restroom I explained to her what happened she immediately began apologizing for the ignorance of her employee but after that I was completely over the experience. I spoke with Rene, one of the store managers, he ended up giving us vouchers and he offered us to take the food home but I just wasn’t feeling it. I understand some people being confused, or maybe even uncomfortable but flat out ignorant? On the clock? That’s completely unacceptable. If you all weren’t sure if I was a women, or a male you should’ve sent a manager inside the restroom to clarify. It really sucks because I wanted to try the food, and they got a lot of great reviews. Honestly if your a lesbian, black woman I would stay away from this place well at least this location. The staffing/management procedures need a lot of improvement.

Great dinner

By Sofiestar |

Great steaks and service to decent price. Needed dinner after having landed at the airport before driving to Naples and found this quality gem just on the way out from the airport to highway 41. Order the sirloin steaks in sizes 6 to mega huge with baked potatoes with your choice of side orders and you will be happy!

Good place for Steak

By YANJUN L |

We visited Miami and went there for lunch on Sunday. The steaks is better than the Texas Roadhouse in Oregon, and customer services is cool. They will dance when specific music started. However, because it is famous, the waiting time for big group is long, especially in weekends.

Julio was awesome!

By aalonso1990 |

Went with my mom and great grandma on a Sunday for dinner and the call ahead seating was perfect timing to our arrival. Our server Julio was so friendly and caring! Food was SUPERB! My mom makes us go once every 2 weeks💞

Ribeye 👍, Bread Basket 👍👌.....

By Yardie-in-Miami |

I went for lunch today (Saturday) about 2:00 pm. There was a wait, but we were called within 15 minutes. We were seated in Javier's section. His service was top notch, and I will always ask to be seated in his section going forward!! He was extremely welcoming, personable, knowledgeable, accommodating, attentive ..... Just a genuinely kind, happy, person .... who wants to make sure that you are satisfied with your meal and service. Let's talk about the BREAD first!! Deeeeeelicious is an understatement! HOT, soft, sweet, pillowy - served with a cinnamon butter!!! YUM! And they keep bringing more...!!!!! Today I ordered the 10 oz. Ribeye steak, medium well. I also added 4 bones of BBQ ribs. For my sides I ordered green beans (👍) and a house salad. Everything was delicious! My steak was very tender and juicy with awesome tasty charring!! Lots of parking - happy environment - good neighborhood go-to!!

Disappointed Dinner

By Eduardo O |

My wife and I went to dinner at this place, the appetizer bread was good, no desirable wine menu, the waiter was OK although a bit M.I.A. - the food arrived cold.. and the triple medallion which I requested medium (actually arrived well done) - not coming back to this place, sorry ( I steakhouse should prioritize themselves on proper steak temperature)

Try one and you've tried them all.....

I first discovered the Texas Roadhouse in Muncie Indiana over 10 years ago. This is a chain restaurant and like all chain restaurants they all look alike on the inside but they do decorate the interior with images from the local area. In Muncie IN, home of Ball State U they have an image of David Letterman playing poker with dogs on the back wall. At the Texas Roadhouse in Middletown NY they have images of NY Yankee and Mets players. This also held true for this one in the Miami area. When you walk in you feel like you've been there before. They get busy on the weekends and there is usually a wait. They have barrels of shell peanuts in the waiting area for you to munch on while waiting. If you did not get your share of peanuts while waiting no worries there are more on every table. Peanut shells, just throw em on the floor. On our recent visits while in Florida we decided to sit at the bar to eat as it was faster than waiting for a table. Our beertender was a lovely young woman who gave us prompt attention and brought our drinks while we looked at the menu. I never have to look at the menu since I having been going there for so long. I am not a steak eater, and they do have chicken and pork chops on their menu. My favorite is their pork chop, served with a baked potato and a salad. For ten bucks you can't go wrong. My wife ordered a NY strip steak also with a baked sweet potato and salad. She told me it was perfectly cooked. A week later my wife and I went back again and again we sat at the bar to avoid the wait for a table. Our beertender from our first visit recognized us and gave us a warm welcome. I ordered my beer and my second favorite thing to eat at the Roadhouse, a hamburger with steak fries. They do make a tasty burger. My wife tried the pork chop this time. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal at any of the Texas Roadhouse restaurants that I have eaten in. Maybe one day I'll try a steak. If you need an inexpensive place to eat beef give any of the Texas Roadhouses a try. I think you'll enjoy the experience.

Never again.

My friends are regulars to this place and they swear to me this is an excellent place for good steak I was invited for my birthday. My personal experience was otherwise.I ordered an 16 Oz. Prime Rib.My favorite .I received a piece of charred and overcooked piece of meat looking nothing like it.One of my friends her steak was overcooked. The paying party called the waitresess and She summoned the Manager. This individual disrespected my friend when she complain about her meal and mine and threat us from calling the police and expel all us us from the place;a very embarrassing situation for us in front of all the patrons surrounding us.Finally the table check was voided an I was offered another Prime Rib to take home at no charge.

A great family dinner!!!!!

By AglayLori |

My family had dinner at this establishment the other day. This was a great choice. The wait staff was warm, and friendly. Our food was hot and very good. The rolls are to die for with cinnamon butter. My steak was great, and my boyfriend's ribs were great as well. We really enjoyed our dinner there. We will return there soon.

Worst Ever

I called ahead waited for 10 minutes which was great the rest went down hill. The waiter approach the table and we placed our order. I had my 5 year old with me so i always order his food first. The waiter took the order

Good Steak for Cheap

By Wend Jay |

When it comes to a cheap steakhouse that still provide decent quality this is the place. I prefer the quality of meat and seasoning used here much better than Longhorn or Outback. The rest of their menu is extensive as well and the bread an butter served at the beginning could be considered dessert. This particular location can et crowded for dinner, no matter what day of the week, so considered reservations or calling ahead. The staff is always friendly and the show every 30 minutes or show add a nice fun touch especially with children.

A LITTLE BIT OF COUNTRY IN MIAMI

By agentnumber99 |

We happened upon this place by accident because we were really hungry, much to our delight we arrived in time for Happy Hour. Beers were on special and the appetizer menu was half-off. We ordered the rib appetizer with French fries platter that was fantastic, enough for two and only 4.99! It was so delicious we ordered another. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by Tamika. Everyone after that was just as nice, informative and professional. Did I mention that they keep bringing baskets of yeasty buttery rolls with brown sugar butter? To die for! Every half hour or so the staff comes out and dances a line dance along with a large Armadillo. Kind of surreal but really fun, and cute. We've been back several times since. They have different specials during the week, we saw the person next to us order a steak with mushrooms and onions that smelled like heaven. I highly recommend this place, every time we go a large party is celebrating a birthday, or a large group of friends are coming in, the place is always busy and it seems really clean. That's a great sign to me when choosing a restaurant. The kids love the Armadillo, he is kind of cute. Oh and the country music is great and not too loud. Take a ride and check it out. Try the green beans too, you'll be surprised.

Top steak, truly good

By Francesco N |

On the surface this is a typical American chain. Sports on TV, large drinks, obscene appetizers... etc... but if you look beyond the surface you must recognize that this particular place is very good at delivering what they are supposed to be there for: great steak. I am a grilling fanatic and I am ready to admit these guys are really top notch when it comes to grilling. The meat cuts are great and the grilling is absolutely flaweless. Just do NOT accept the option of "smothering in cheese" o tr mushroom sauce or anything of the sort. The meat is perfect as it is. The barbeque ribs are advertised as "fall off the bone" and they absolutely are. Better in fact than the ones sold in many places that specialize in barbeque. The places advertises "the coldest beer" and it is!!! So, overall, you get awesome meat cooked to perfection, cold beer, top fall off the bone ribs and you pay a fraction of what you would in a fancy steakhouse. Absolutely recommended.

Saturday Night Madness

By OPSilver |

Our first visit was when the restaurant first open and it was OK. Then, on a Saturday night friends invited us because they also wanted to check out the place. We arrived around 7:30 pm and there were a lot of people waiting inside and outside. We waited 45 minutes for a table. Outside it was hot, inside was LOUD!!! Carrying a conversation at the table was almost impossible - the music was loud, people were talking loudly, the staff do a little performance in the aisles where they sing and dance. Then, if someone is celebrating a birthday they bring out a saddle and the birthday boy/gal hop on it and the staff sings happy birthday and they yell and scream (Texas style). The ambiance is very relaxed and festive but the loudness gets to a point where you cannot take it anymore. We literally rushed through dinner to be able to get out of there. We decided that when and if we go back we will go on a weekday when I hope it will be less crowded and less noisy. Those who lived in Miami in the 90's will recognize this restaurant concept because of the Roadhouse Restaurant located at the corner of SW 117th Avenue and Sunset Drive. So, if you liked the sweet bread and the barrels of peanuts at the old Roadhouse, this Texas Roadhouse is for you.

After Work

The food was out of this world, I ordered a ribeye on bone wow it was an experience. Ambience was ok, servers were great!! But highly recommended for meat options.

Birthday

By Gypsy Z |

This is our second time here and our last. The food is so salty is just not enjoyable. We went at 1 on a Saturday it was empty and it took a very long time to get our food. The chili was horrible. The only good thing was the steak.

Excellent prime rib

By Vicki2495 |

It was a fun place. Great drink, fantastic food. Good portion. Nice baked sweet potato. Good service.

Long time waiting

By Karla Z |

When you get there at the restaurant there's too many people waiting, then tell you the waiting time is like 45min to 1hr that's a lot after that when you finally get the table the Waitress take long time to come to the table, after that the food wait another hour they not even pass by the table to give a reason why the food is taking too long if they bring the wrong order we have to wait for another hour for the food its terrible if they don't how to handle a restaurant like that one they shouldn't be open i will never come back to that place

Great food but a confused server

By Hassehans |

My girlfriend and I ate a late dinner here. Food was great and the atmosphere good. Can't believe how many people had their birthdays here though! The only negative aspect was the server was confused or stressed, forgetting to ask how we want our meat, forgot bringing appetizers, drinks Etc. Had we not been in a good mood this would have gotten really annoying. She apologized profusely for forgetting the drinks. Then forgot a second time...

Most amazing food I’ve ever eaten

By Sean M |

The steak. The ribs. The chips with cheese and bacon. Man I could eat it EVERYDAY. But then I would be fat. If you’re near a Texas Roadhouse, in Miami or anywhere else - go eat there!

No acceptable wines

By gteran76 |

This is a fun place to eat, something different with lot of energy. Our server was super nice, "Gabe" and took care of 6 of us in a professional manner. My only complaint is a Steakhouse with only 3 options of red wine... And all of them mediocre to said the least. They need to add at least 5 to 10 more wines and 1 or 2 in the mid-high range to accompany a good steak!

Great ribs

By Andres E |

As always, great ribs, great bread and delicious baked potatoes. The music was too loud. Service was ok, price is ok, best place for family and friends going for ribs.

Best Steak

By GTL77 |

It has been very long since I had a steak like the one I had at Texas Roadhouse... I have been to Texas Roadhouse in many places, the food at this location is definitely one of the best.. Had a 10 oz ribeye that I picked at the window display and couldn't had been better.. mashed potatoes and rice ... PERFECT Great service..

Simply awesome

By nanistravels |

We sat at the bar and the kids at a table next to the bar. The food was super fresh the bartender and the server for the kids were awesome. The ambience was exactly what we wanted to experience will recommend 100%. The steaks were perfectly cooked. The beer was just like is supposed to be! Over all was amazing! My daughter got put on a saddle for her birthday!! Simply awesome!!

Delicious!!

By CDNseekingheat |

What a great atmosphere. Loud tho. Lots of fun but be warned to call ahead and reserve seating on the weekend as it is incredibly busy. That'll save you about half an hour wait time. Also, peanut warning, they are everywhere. Steaks and the complimentary bread are amazing. Ribs, not so much.

Deception

By paullamar69 |

I used to eat every time I was in Miami...was my favorite place in Miami for steak...but last time I was disappointed...too crowded, the steak was overcooked and the bread was too sweet.

Yeeeeehaw Amazing

By AFHC |

Everything I have ordered at this place is amazing. The rolls are fresh baked the peanuts are fresh and the meat is super! I love the ribeyes and dont forget to order your sweet potato side loaded with marshmallows! Even if you dont like sweet potato this place will change your mind!

Love this place

By Brenda |

My husband and I absolutely love this place! The food, beer, and bread are perfect!! My favorite is the sirloin, it is outstanding! The ambience is very relaxing and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Great meat,too crowded.

By Remberto M |

Excellent service, great meals ( specialy the meats),prices averaged. But too many people gathered in the saloon making a lot of noise. Also the music is too high. I recommend better to order on line and pick it up to your house.

Family Fun!

By Jorge Carlos M |

Very nice place to be and eat! Great service (Thank u Gaby!!), fried pickles & wings are both very good! ribs and steaks to die for!! We will came back for sure!

Dinner before cruise

By Pat S |

We ate here the night before leaving on a cruise. There were 4 in the party. It was a Sunday night, had about 45 minute wait. The server was friendly and helpful. He made sure our glasses were full. The food as in every Texas Roadhouse was good, steaks cooked correctly. Very busy restaurant.

Great... as usual

By Viacheslav n |

We come here every time we are visiting Miami and were never disappointed! Great meal, friendly service make it one of the best meat experiences of the year :))

Server Frank

By Branchlikeonatree |

It’s been a long time since we’ve been to a restaurant with such an overall friendly staff. Everyone’s words and actions exudes kindness and genuinely seem to care about quality service. Server Frank was outstanding and made our experience better just by being him. Couldn’t have been more eager to please. We are very grateful. Thanks Frank!!

Bread!!!

By anaz08 |

The bread and butter is awesome!!! They come out warm and it's so hard to just have one!! I also love eating their steak with sautéed mushrooms on top!

Birthday Surprise

By Maritza C |

I visited the restaurant on Monday Labor Day at 1:00pm in the afternoon. We were greeted immediately with the greatest smiles that you can see. We were escorted to our table with a plate of really warm bread with cinnamon butter (did not like the sweet with the garlic bread) but the bread itself was Delicious . After overlooking the menu the waitress brought our drinks that were huge, the bomb and cheap. She suggested that we order from the lunch special menu ($8.99 with two sides) that now is also available at that price for dinner. I ordered the Sirloin medium red with green beans that just blew my taste buds and the best baked potato that I have ever order. When my food arrived I thought that I was eating filet mignon that is how soft and tasteful it was, then it was my friends birthday and they surprised her with a great song and hot fudge and vanilla ice cream plate. I will continue to go back there and try all their plates. Clean, nice, great service, excellent food and killer drinks.

Veterans Day lunch

By 7A1 |

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Texas Roadhouse has a location in Miami, Fl. I have been to their Lakeland, Fl location and have been very pleased at the experience. I saw that they were giving Veterans a free lunch, and, not being able to pass on a free lunch, I took my wife to what was a pleasant experience. After a wait of a few minutes, understandable as it was Veteran's Day, we were seated and presented with menus and peanuts. The bread was delicious and was rapidly eaten while waiting for the entree -6 oz steaks cooked medium rare. They were tasty and tender. The atmosphere was "party" and we enjoyed watching the staff sing and dance. Bottom line is that the food is good, the atmosphere is fun and we'll definitely be back.

Great place to eat

By mshellrosie |

On our last night in Miami our group decided to celebrate with steak dinners. I had never eaten there and had a really good experience. We were able to get straight in with no wait time on a Friday night at 5:30pm which was really surprising. The waitstaff were really nice and the food was fantastic. I ordered an 8 ounce sirloin with shrimp which was more than enough for me to eat. While waiting we were served bread and cinnamon butter which was tasty but a bit too sweet for me. Their side salads were nice sized which is one of the added offerings that come with the dinners. At one point music started playing and the whole staff started dancing in sync. Wasn't expecting that, but was fun to watch. I guess this happens on every hour. Was a great dinner experience and the food was cooked to perfection.

Delicious and fun!

By scotthX5017PJ |

The food was absolutely delicious! Our server Maximo made our time out so much fun! I highly recommend this location for great steaks, chicken, and seafood! You can’t go wrong with any choice. Everything from the homemade fresh bread, and crispy salad, all the way to the delicious smothered chicken, was awesome!! My wife’s steak was cooked to perfection and oh so tender.

Quality service!!

By dalva0621 |

I will say that the food and mostly the service provided by our waiter Pablo was amazing!! We were celebrating my sons Birthday and it was the best choice for the night. Steaks were on point and service all over. There should be more places like this in amiami!! Great job!!

tasty, quick, exactly what we ordered

By lilhomer1 |

really debated giving this a 5 star review, the steak was cooked as ordered but the cut was slightly off. The server, Amanda, was in training, and did really well, even with my very specific order.

Bad Review of Texas Roadhouse on 9161 W. Flagler St., Miami FL 33174. We will not be back and we don't recommend!

By C C |

Bad Review of Texas Roadhouse on 9161 W. Flagler St., Miami FL 33174. We will not be back and we don't recommend! On Saturday, 5/31/25, my wife and I went to eat at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant on 9161 W. Flagler St., Miami FL. It was a busy night, but not as full as other Saturday nights. We have been at this restaurant several times before, since we like their food (steaks, burgers & chili). The previous time we came we noticed that their chili had some meat gristle, but about 75% of it was fine, so we didn’t say anything. This time we ordered 2 cups of their chili and 2 of their burgers. The food took a while to get to us. When they brought the chili, they only had one clean metal spoon for my wife and offered me a plastic spoon, since they had no other clean spoons. I declined and requested a clean metal spoon when available, which was about 7 minutes later. My wife and I ordered 2 small chilies and were very disappointed as both of our servings had at least 9 pieces of gristle each. I ordered a med-well cooked burger and my wife ordered a med cooked burger, but both burgers were in the rare range. I tried to flag one of the waiters, they all seemed to be talking and looking at their phones. We were so hungry that we started to eat the burgers. When were about half done the waitress came in and we told her what happened and showed her the gristle and the raw burgers. She offered to take the burgers back, but we didn’t want to wait again. We told her that the service and the food was really unacceptable, and paid the full price in cash. She was polite and apologized that we were not happy. She offered to get a manager but we declined since we had eaten most of the food. I question the quality of meat they use for the chili and the supervision in the kitchen. I spoke to a friend who stated that she had a similar experience at this Texas Roadhouse. She stated that the service at the Kendall location is much better. Texas Roadhouse 9161 W. Good Food, But Insanely Loud

By cogaha |

We have eaten at other locations of this chain and have always enjoyed their food. At this location in Miami, the food was good as expected. Everything came out piping hot and tasted great. The biggest downside is the noise--the music is so loud you can't carry on a conversation, but people tried anyway, which just led to shouting --which added to the noise. Of course, the waitstaff celebrating birthdays for patrons made it all worse--it was too much, and I left with a headache. There is no reason for a restaurant to be that loud. Service was a little slow (waited a long time for drinks, waited for the check, and my daughter's steak had to be sent back to cook a bit more, and it took quite a while for our waiter to check and find out that we needed this to happen. They were really, really busy. If you go, the restaurant offers call ahead seating, so definitely take advantage of that to reduce wait time.

Lunch

By Elizabeth E |

Great steak lunch special but they are only open for lunch on Friday. Its also a great place for Happy Hour, interesting deinks but a little too sweet.

good steak for the price

By arturod71 |

It is a chain steakhouse, the quality of their meats is decent, platter come with 2 sides order & plenty of their fresh baked bread, the service is done by young kids, it is fair but not professional, over all it is a good experience

Texas Roadhouse

By EvanGuthrie |

Texas Roadhouse on Flagler Street in Miami is a well managed Texas Roadhouse location that has everything you would expect and more. They have been consistent in their quality each time I have been here. They are really good for larger groups and orders. The staff here is very helpful and attentive.

A great meal.

By ct-cruisers |

We came here for an early dinner after flying into town for a cruise vacation. The place was busy, but we were seated right away . I ordered the pulled pork dinner and my wife had a sirloin steak. We thought our meals were very good. Terrific service.

It's ok. Just watch your meat temperature.. margaritas are great and so as country fried chicken

By Jorge G |

It's a good choice. Service is a lottery you get good servers some times but others, oh well not as good. And meats well I love the country fried chicken, but be careful when ordering meats, 2 times out of 5 they get it right.... they may under or over cook. But they will always gladly cook it a second time. If ok with you....

Good food, efficient service

By dianne364 |

Originally we ate here because it was conveniently close to our motel but we went back because we enjoyed the food. The place is lively and the staff were cheerful and helpful. The range of food is probably as you’d expect and offers no surprises but it was good, tasty and reasonably priced. The servers are really helpful and will make recommendations if you’re not sure what to have

Big and tasty portions

By Danny G |

Everything big: The parking lot, the resturant, the portions. Sitting on the main road, convenient accessible. The resturant design very nice wood base. Excellent and fast service. On the table welcome you with big bowl of peanuts I took the big portion (16oz) of Fort Worth Ribeye (22$) One of the best steak I ate lately. Cold dring come with free refill We pay 84.75 $ (+ tip) for three people. The receipt came with the tip options: 15%, 18% or 20%.......

Good ribs good food

By Canesbiggdogg |

Middle of the Road, Pretty Much

By IslandLovinTwosome |

We went here because it was across the parking lot from where we stayed and looked pretty nice from the outside. Once inside, we were immediately seated and the hostess gave us a breadbasket as we were sitting down, very nice. The service was very good, staff was prompt and attentive throughout our time there. The food, however, was just kinda meh. The portions were okay, the pricing was okay, it just didn't really light either one of us up. You do have to be okay with the restaurant being consistently noisy, which seems to be the norm.

Our new preferred...

By Tony G |

It is a classic american grill, with country music, kind of western environment, peanuts everywhere, and a young and nice crew who do their best to take care of you. The waitress was nice, able to explain options, and even helpful no change our table to other with a better TV view so our son could see the Sunday Football game. Margarita and beer really good, with good price. I took the Porterhouse, and the others got a Sirloin. Everything, even to sides (mushroom, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes...) were good. The quality of the presentation was acceptable, but the quality of the meat was great, above the expected. The waiting time from the order time, to the food in the table was a little long, but the waitress was nice enough to give us explanations without our request. We had a good time seeing those guys (the waitresses) dancing, and definitely I recommend this place. I cannot wait to go again...

We came for my nephew's birthday. The food and atmosphere were amazing. Food tastes delicious. Definitely a place to come back.

Mr Rafael Ramirez

By Rafael R |

Had the 8oz sirloin steak medium and it was perfect. No far and no bristle. Very reasonably priced and the service was outstanding. Very little wait time for a steak PLACE. I would recommend to my friends and family.

Its about time they come to Miami

By Canesbiggdogg |

I have been to Texas Roadhouse as I have travelled around the country. My daughter had a celebration that i wanted to do for her so my son suggested that we go here (he has been before). We started with the loaded fries and their onion blossom which were both very good. My youngest daughter , my son and his gf all had the ribs. My other daughter had the chicken critters (all white meat) and my GF had the steak kabobs. I of course went with the hand cut NY Strip medium rare and it was very good. As far as side dishes the chili was very good. This was our first time and everyone loved the food so we will definitely be back

Be specific

By Navigate616824 |

I was very disappointed with my plate. It’s called “road kill” “chop steak” we all figured it was steak cut in little pieces. Instead, it was hamburger meat! :( please be specific!

Amazing staff, great food

By SSS |

This was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was amazing, Yaise and Betsy specially. The food was great! Everything we tried was delicious, the bread pudding is a must and the steak was cooked perfectly. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were large. We will definitely be returning.
