Having proudly served my term in the military I am used to being treated like trash by civilians. But today at Roadhouse in San Antonio, TEXAS ON loop410 and Ingram Road,I received the ultimate spit in theface. I enquired about my military discount and told buy the manager , " we only do that on Tuesday we are the only ones thatdo that, Weare the only ones everyone else does it 7 days a week.After telling him we served a 7 day week 24 / 7. he gave me a $2.00 discount. I hope that they don't have ANTE HE GAVE ME A $2.00 DISCOUNT. WOW!!! I hope they don't have to file bankruptcy. Vet tip call ahead skip them AND Bill Miller BAR B Que all together, San Antonio claims to be military city,U.S.A. WHAT A JOKE VISIT Las Pallapas,Rudy's Bar B Que. Incidentally I am never stepping into these 2 places again. ..ever.

Were here with my family. Great food, had steak, ribs and cheesecake, nice side dishes, welcoming atmosphere and great service from our waitress alexandria, recommendable!

Loved everything about it. A chain restaurant but amazing. The ambiance was family oriented, service excellent. Prime Rib to die for and a special side would be the loaded sweet potato. We went twice, both times it was Prime Rib for me. I would go back anytime.

I went with my husband last Sunday after church everything was great until I found a blue gum wrapper in my salad talked to the manager they offered me another salad but didn’t really feel like eating it after what I had found. At the end of meal and got our ticket the manager deducted $6 off the order :( and gave me a coupon for next time for a free appetizer :( should have taken a picture to post

We’ve never been to a Roadhouse this is not excellent. The service and food were excellent. Our steaks were grilled perfectly and the side dishes were great. The only problem is that I told the waitress that we were celebrating our Airman’s birthday and she said she would let them know, but apparently she forgot! Oh well, maybe next time.

Been to several Texas Roadhouse places around the State throughout the years. Food isn't nothing to write home about. It is average. Service is ok. Never had any problems.

The rib eye have a very good flavor the place is nice and the staff is very nice you gonna eat well and you can eat a lot of peanuts for free

My father came to town from NY and wanted to have a real Texas steak. We decided to go to Texas roadhouse and it was the best decision. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I had such a great time and can't wait to go back.

I had barque chicken and fries and green beans and people that work their are friendly and Service was medium and did and place was clean inside and out and if you go their after 5 you have to wait to be sitting and restroom was clean and I won't go their for while James

The bread and butter was sweet and when the green beans arrived they were sweet too. I believe they just put too much sugar in their food. The steak and potato were good. One of several chains that are drawing in the crowds with their 2 for 1 price menu. Not the place to go if you are into "healthy eating."

The Texas roadhouse is a franchise restaurant of beef. The place is country -western style and the food is awesome. They have different set of menus but the beef is the best. You can order a rib eye with sweet or baked potatoe and a beer. The cost of this is around 27 dlls but it's worth it. The bread with the butter mixed with cinnamon is unique!

this was steps from our hotel. Call ahead for a reservation, the place is packed! We called and headed over, our table was ready in minutes. The movie theater is around the corner, so that might be why it was busy.

Went here to eat and visit with family. A long wait due to the popularity of this restaurant. We found out why. Our server was excellent, the food was very good. Noise level quite high, but that's the cowboy bar ambience. As a couple we chose to come back a second night. Less busy, and the service was not as good as night one. Food was still very good.

We went last night (7-8-16) about 9ish with a party of 5. The wait was 35 mins and well worth it. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. All of the orders came out correctly as well as she kept the refills on drinks coming without a request.

Great food and service. Went on a Friday night about 5:30 and the parking lot was full but we were seated right away. Service was prompt and courteous. Steak and salmon were cooked to perfection. Ribs were very good but slightly over cooked. Will come here again.

Tonight a coworker invited me out for dinner to THE TEXAS ROADHOUSE! When I arrived the place was packed and hopping! We got a table right away surprised when I sat down there was a bucket of peanuts sitting on the table (awesome) you just crack em and chuck the husks on the floor! It took all of a couple minutes when my waitress NICOLE popped up ready to serve! Hot rolls with a signature whipped butter to go with them. I don't want to spoil it for ya, trust me it's worth it! We both ordered the prime rib over medium.baked potato loaded they don't hold nothing back on it either tons of bacon and cheese etc.. And a house salad with ranch dressing. We got the drinks and salad first. To my surprise it was in front of me almost as fast as I had turned my head Nicole was there with a million dollar smile;) and asked if we needed anything else as soon as we said we were good she was off and running! Just as we were finishing our salads literally two bites left! Again Nicole appears with our order. The smell of the prime rib was tantalizing my taste buds! When I took the first bite of it I thought I died and went to Heaven!!:) The flavor and texture of this prime rib has surpassed Montana prime by a mile! It had the perfect mixture of spices and mesquite smoke start to finish not one bad bite! So if your looking for the perfect place to sit and eat some prime rib. Beg borrow or steal a ride to the San Antonio Texas roadhouse at cinema ridge off 410! Ask for Nicole's section she is the best server in the joint! Also say hi to the boss man Harry the manager there! Great staff prime rib to die for!! Oh inside joke if you are privileged to have Nicole to serve you. Bring a bite sized almond joy for her! When she freaks out say Seattle Stan said you liked em!! (NOT) but the reaction will be worth a thousand words!! Tell her give it to her Dad who according to nicole does (love) em and don't forget to tip! Thank God for Nicole and the awesomeness that is the Texas Roadhouse! Semper Fi Stan!!

took my wife and son , we all had different meals, this will not dissapoint you, meals were filling and delicious, cant wait to go again, excellent service,ans atmosphere., and i was surprised on the amount we spent, low cost for a great meal

My wife, two boys, parents and visiting brother in law decided to go here for dinner. The waitress we had was very courteous and attentive. All our orders were perfectly cooked and delivered. Was a very enjoyable experience.

addicting bread rolls w/ matching butter to die for. tender, juicy and delicious T bone steak yum yum yum. 1 order was good for 2 people and we're stuffed.

Excellent meal for 11 people. Perfectly done steaks & baked potatoes. Told wait time was 45 minutes, waited exactly 25 minutes.

Wow. What a great dinner. We started with the cactus onion and it was excellent. Followed up with a salad, steak and shrimp that were just as good. The owner was there and very friendly. He and his staff took great care of us. Whoop Go Aggies!

Were in bid of a hurry and it workout perfect. Cassandra took care of our order and it was perfect. The sirloin steak was delicious and made exactly as requested.

Great steak, great in deed. Visited here with my family of 5, and had a great experience of well cooked steak with a bowl of rice and veggies. I wanted my food spicy, and that's what I had. The kid's menu was great and the kids were satisfied. I recommend this location.

This was a great restaurant. We enjoyed the steak and chicken meals. The salads were fresh and tasty and the service was good. This was close to our hotel so that made it even more convenient.

Great Prime Rib done to perfection. The place was crowded but the wait was short. The service was excellent but the noise was a bit much. The Saltgrass next door was better for a more peaceful dining experience.

First you can't read the tiny tiny disposable menus. First sign of cheapness. The TX Road H advertise they have a veteran discount but they always have an excuse you can't have it. I'm 0 for 4. Over as many years always an excuse. The Food was ok waitstaff was fine. Restroom had paper towels a plus. Our major complaints were directly connected to management. Menus I'll post a pic. Vet Discount they said this was this location policy. Must be the manager I'm not 100% re the location 6616 W Loop 1604 N is what my phone said but here looks different on here. Not being familiar with SA not sure.

I have been here multiple times and had stopped by here often when staying at the Holiday Inn next door. Every time I have gone there it has been busy although I have been able to get a seat quickly. Food is served fast and hot, service was excellent and can't forget that hot bread they serve. Very pleasant restaurant, will certainly continue to come here in the future.

Very loud atmosphere. Great food. The New York strip was so tender and delicious. Very casual and you can even toss your peanut shells on the floor. Always crowded but reservations aren't really needed if you can wait 15-20 minutes.

My brother brought us here on our last night in San Antonio, he goes to this restaurant on a regular basis. The steaks are cooked to your specific instructions, if they are not done the way you wanted them, you only have to say, and they will replace them, seemingly no questions asked. We loved the giant metal containers on the tables containing peanuts in their shells, peanut shells littered the floor, .My brother and hubby both had 16oz steaks, which they said were cooked to perfection, I had a chicken salad, the chicken had been griddled, it was tasty and tender. Beer served in texas sized glasses!! The staff are really really friendly and happy, and seem genuinely pleased to be serving you. It's refreshing to see restaurant staff happily going about their job.

I always love coming to Texas Roadhouse they have some of the best ribs I have ever eaten and I love the atmosphere there.

We always try and do our birthdays and anniversary here because of the great food and service. This year was no exception, however we got a bonus this year. After we had finished our fantastic steaks the manager stopped by to make sure our meal was satisfactory and we told her it was our 51st anniversary and she said that is very special and she wanted to give us a complementary desert on the house!! WOW did not have to do that but it was very appreciated. This just makes it a little more special when they make that extra effort to make folks happy.. THANK YOU!!

Have these back home in Illinois and its still just as good in Texas. They have the best pork chops!

My husband took me to this restaurant for my birthday. I am typically a fan of the Blue Crush Lemonade and their catfish, however the catfish was fried way too long and with so much breading that I could barely cut it. The blue crush was watered down and it took us so long to get our food. I did t understand, especially when there wasn't really a long wait to begin with. It was an unfortunate disappointment for my birthday and I'm sure I won't make an appearance any time soon. I would think that being in Texas and gong to a Texas Roadhouse it would have been better than Oklahoma and Kansas, but apparently not.

Used waitlist and were seated immediately. Excellent, personable service by Cooper who was attentive. The food arrived quickly, cooked to perfection; tasty & hot: sirloin steak, and Filet &Shrimp smothered. Looking forward to going again.

Me and my wife was going to eat there after stopping by Sheplers. It was on a Tuesday and they were not too busy. We were seated quickly and when we got to the table, my wife's chair was wet and had food on it. My chair had food on in but I swept it off. My wife changed chairs and that one had food on it. She swept it off and say down. The hostess left. We noticed that the table was dirty and greasy. The hostess came back with silverware and we told her that the table needed to be cleaned. She didn't say anything and just rolled her eyes and walked off. The food on the chairs and table was not peanut shells. It was bread and some type of sauce. After sitting there for about 5 minutes without any one coming up to get our order or to wipe the table down, we left and went to the Texas Roadhouse on 281N. That place was 100% better.

Where can you pick your own steak for size, color and marbling? How about a 16 ounce (Yes, 1 pound!) NY Strip with 2 sides for only $19.95 (excluding tax & tip)! I went expecting to use steak sauce, but didn't need one drop because of the superb flavor and tenderness. I went back two more times before I had to return to California and the flavor and tenderness were the same o all 3 occasions!!! Went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate the graduation of our grandson for the Air Force boot camp. He wanted a steak. There were 10 of us. We had no reservations but they seated us quickly. I had the small prime rib, tender and tasty. Good value for the price.

Friendly staff, good food, the manager even came to talk to us. The food was very filling as always.

Every time we order food to go here . It is wrong! So frustrating. I specifically ordered loaded mashed on BOTH plates. We didnt get it. We got regular mash potatoes. No regular butter as requested. Only one cup of gravy for 2 Chicken fried sirloins. Oh and the batter was so so dark. it tasted greasy. I asked for extra ranch and no surprise No dressing at all! What in the heck is going on here. Whats the point in ordering online with special requests. its even on the ticket. this meal was horrible!

The prime rib is very delicious. I order it medium rare. The portion and price is really affordable too.

After spending the weekend in San Antonio and craving a steak that didn't require a home equity loan, we settled on a late lunch/early dinner at the Roadhouse. Yes, it's a chain, but we loaded up with a 12 oz. ribeye, sirloin and ribs, and a cheesburger for the airman (cheap date!). The rub was a tad salty, but otherwise flavor, consistency and texture of the meat was all top-notch. Ribs were tender, rolls were plentiful and our wait staff (Ariel) was phenomenal. Sure it's a chain; but Texas Roadhouse was just what the doctor ordered.

We waited 45 minutes to be seated for a party of 5. True to their word as far as the wait. This restaurant is very busy even during the week. We went on a Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Server was excellent. Four of us ordered the top sirloin steaks ranging from 6oz to 10 oz. All orders were made to order. Everything from well done to medium-well to medium-rare. Kids meals are a great value. The fried pickles were good as an appetizer but we will stick to The Blossom. Salads are good and the best part for us are the yeast rolls!! Sweet tea & Coke products are sold here which is an added bonus for us.

We went there on our last night, this is our first time there and in SA. The service was great, our waitress had a great attitude. Every time we said that things were good she just gave us a big smile and said 'awesome!'. The food was excellent. They gave us some bread and a home made butter or something that was just phenomenal, we didn't kept eating it cuz then there wouldn't be space for the actual food. My partner had a sirloin with ribs, mash potatoes and corn; I had a sirloin with chicken, backed potato and chili. We also tried their margaritas and lemonades. Everything tasted so good! Will definitely come back.

I visited here for dinner on a business trip to San Antonio. This place is very popular with the locals as it was very crowded on a Monday night. I had a steak, corn and potatoes. The food was good and the staff was very attentive.

Local friends took us here for dinner and it was a great experience. The place was packed but we were still seated right away, twice even when our first table was in the sun. Service was quick and friendly and the food was surprisingly good. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious, you get a lot of food for the price, and the service was excellent, manager came around to make sure everything was good, and see if you needed anything else.

First real night in town after moving here so I went to dinner. 7pm place is packed still only waited 15 mins! Food was right the first time which rarely happens because I have a specific diet so there are deletions. Adrianna was stellar! Friendly nice and attentive even tho clearly she was busy. I know you can eat at these places across the country but you don't get this service there. I complain when it's wrong better believe I'm going to tell you when it's right! This place is all kinds of right! You won't be disappointed!

Quite possibly the best flavored ribeye I've ever eaten. Nice house salad that included lettuce, cheese, tomato, boiled egg, and croutons. We had great service without a wait (arrived shortly after 6 with a party of 3). I would definitely go here again!

I am a veteran and I was to one your restaurant at San Antonio, Texas on 2893 Cinema Rdg on Veteran's Day. I called the day before and was told that it is an all day . I arrived at 6:30 pm and told the girls at the front that I was a veteran . I had to wait 45 minutes to get a table and when I did get my table I told him that I wanted the veteran special . The waiter told me it stop at 4pm but I called yesterday and was told that it was for all day .THIS IS AN INSULT TO ME AND THIS IS HOW YOUR TREAT YOUR VETERANS. I am very dissatisfied in your service and the way I was treated . I will think twice before I there again since you treat your with lies

Texas Roadhouse does not have the best of any one type of food but they serve good solid fare for a wide range of tastes. My kids favorite part of a visit is the bucket of peanuts they can shell and munch on. Personally I think they like making a mess with the shells too! The BBQ is good but not as good as a dedicated BBQ place. Steaks are good but like other things, it is done better at a steak restaurant. The big plus for TexasRoadhouse is you can get a good (not great) meal from just about whatever you are hungry for, allowing everyone to get what they want.

We stopped in here after visiting the Alamo. The people were very nice and the appetizers delicious. We just had some refreshments so can't say too much about the actual food. It was a comfortable, not fancy place that overlooked the river. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

A horrible experience. We have been coming for over eight years. My husband is not feeling well and I am throwing the rest of my dish that was sent back two times away. Do they understand what dressing on the side is???????

I loved the rolls, ribeyes...it was yummy. There was waiting time period for 20min but it came quick. Thanks to our server, really forgot his name but he really took good care for us. Kept bringing the rolls and it was very fresh and delicious. Thank you for everything. Surely will visit again when we travel to texas again. ;-)

Had just left Lackland AFB and decided to stop here for dinner. I have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Steak was cooked perfectly and service was excellent as well. Have always enjoyed this location and stop here whenever I can. A must stop if you are in the area.

I did not dare to go for the 22oz and let it go to waste so I had the 12oz "Ft Worth Ribeye" with corn and baked sweet potato. All that I can say is "mouth watering!" The employees at the entrance were average when it came to customer service, but our waiter "Chris" was amazing! There were four of us and none of us had any complaints and would return if in the area again.

Only complaint is that we literally saw a waitress or food runner carrying a tray of food to a table (not ours) and her hair was literally in the food.

We went here during their "early bird" special time. Great prices during the early dinner. Fast, careful service in a fun atmosphere. We both ordered steaks, and enjoyed our meals.

I'm staying nearby and stopped by to pick up something Togo, upon entering there was no greeting or acknowledgement. I oversaw a young woman texting on her phone and not paying attention to customers. The gentleman that did my Togo order was prompt and courteous. Hey management you might want to ban cell phones during business hours.

Dependable, consistent, and tasty. The bread is delightful! Good peanuts and service! We each had the 6 oz filet - just the right size and cooked the way we like it.

Best meal I had the whole week. Fried onion was perfectly cooked as was everything we had. It was also margarita nite. Will definitely go again next time we visit.

Our grandson wanted steak for dinner. The restaurant was a block from our hotel - walking distance. As soon as we arrived, the hostess greeted him with congratulations & thank you. We were seated immediately after arriving. The food was very good. We did not have to wait long for our dinners to arrive & sometimes with a table of (7) that is hard to do. All of the employees we met were very polite. Definitely recommend for anyone.

Texas Roadhouse is always a great standby for us when we are traveling in Texas. Unfortunately, I didn't really think this particular location stood out in any way. These type of chains tend to have great consistency, but that was not my experience here. My shrimp was slightly charred, and I did not feel like complaining as we were in a rush & had already had a long day. My husband's steak was cooked well & our daughter's meal was too. The pro was that it was quick--we were seated right away on a Thursday evening. Overall, very good!

Steaks are awesome. Great fun atmosphere. Went for a birthday and they made my mom ride on a saddle.

First time here. Liked the vibe very much. The waiter was helpful. Very much liked the description various steaks posted on the wall. The New York strip and ribeye was great. The roadkill was tasty. The ribs and steak combo was all right as well. Some parts of the steak was a bit raw and not uniformly cooked. Overall good experience.

They have greats food. This is a great place to take children or anyone for their Birthday. They put the birthday person on a wooden horse and sing Happy Birthday!

We had a party of roughly 20 people, and were accommodated right away. The staff was very friendly and prompt to take our drink orders, and very systematically took our food orders. The food came out promptly and with no issues. The food was delicious, and our drinks were always topped off. The server paid great attention to us, and at the end of our evening was prepared to split the check for all of us with no issues of food being on the wrong bill. Overall a great experience.

Highly recommend the $8.99 lunch specials, our family of 5 ate for $65.00 and the food was excellent.

We used the call ahead seating and were told upon arrival that it would be about 10-15 minutes and we waited about 30 minutes in very noisy music outside with out infant. Once we were finally seated the server was great, however I ordered the catfish and it came out barely cooked and by this time my daughter was getting very fussy as we had been at the restaurant for about 2 hours and it was close to her bedtime so rather than sending it back we just took it to go. So aside from food and the initial wait everything was fine but there are better choices around now!

We ate at the Roadhouse three times while staying at Residence Inn nearby. Every time, every waitress, every meal, was excellent. Prices were very affordable for our steak meals. The place is well run, the staff couldn't have been nicer, and everything we ate was cooked perfectly. It's a comfy casual place, well worth your time and money !

Texas Roadhouse is the best steak I've had at a casual restaurant. It's better than Outback, Texas Land & Cattle, or Saltgrass. The prices were fair, the service at Cinema Ridge was great, and the food at Roadhouse is always great. The fresh hot rolls with cinnamon butter are served to the table when you first sit down. The chili is meaty, thick, and with just the right amount of spice. The steaks and sides are all great. We both had the choice sirloin, cooked to perfection. The green beans are the best I've had and my wife loves the baked potato. Our kids split the kids chicken tenders and it was plenty of food for a 4 1/2 and 2 year old. Always a great meal!

My wife loves Roadhouse. We decided to come here on Sunday after church. After finally getting seated, our server began forgetting the most basic things including our drink order, our bread, and messed up our order. We'll still come back, perhaps she just had a bad day. The food is still always good.

wanted a steak but didn't want to pay the high price for some of the "steak houses".....had eaten in one in Virginia Beach before so tried it again in san antonio....really good and reasonably priced

If you want some steak and potatoes with salad, this is the place. Food was awesome. Service was great, our waitress Thalia did a very good job.

Stopped by here for lunch with my wife and two boys. Wasn't really busy inside so I figured our food would come out relatively quick. But despite it not being busy it took an extremely long time for our food to arrive. And to top it off we got our appetizer at the same time as our entree's....which defeats the purpose of an appetizer.

I was staying at nearby Holyday Inn... this place and Saltgrass are the two restaurants at walking distance, and I tried both... Quality of meat and meat cooking are excellent in both places, and you have a good number of choiches. And in both places you have good selection of beers... and both places sevice is very friendly and efficent... Selection of desserts is very limited... And here the environment is slightly less "sofisticated"... more "folklore", more noise, more crowd, tables are closer... but as a balance, it is quite cheaper... By the way, they announced 35 minutes waiting, and in 15 minutes we got a table...

have been here a few times and have had good service and food. This time I sat at one of the bar tables. It was like I was being ignored on purpose. Several waitresses and waiters walked past behind me but not one in front of me. I even noticed that 2 other people came in after me and hot waited on. After about 15 minutes I walked to the front desk and said I guess that is a none service table. Waiting 15 minutes and no service is unacceptable I'm leaving and going elsewhere. Not one of the 5 workers standing there said a word. But the free peanuts we're good. I went to Saltgrass next door and in 15 minutes was served my food. Much better service and steaks.

My favorite place for steaks. Service was good EXCEPT not a big fan of having hair in my kids food. I under stand the girls must look presentable but hair not being pinned back fully is very unacceptable, unsanitary and not professional. When the server was delivering our food, her side ponytail was all in our food as she was auctioning it out to us. Hair really needs to be pulled back completely.

Always a wait but it went faster than they gold us...... Very loud inside always but the peanuts are a plus. The steaks were cooked to our order. All in all a great meal and great servers too.

The food was tasty, although the service was a little slow. Beware the booths, some have really broken down seats and the table is practically at eye level.

We love this chain. You get a lot for your money and the steaks are the best. The service is also very friendly and efficient. You can't beat it for quality of food as well as service. The drinks are also full bodied.

We were referred to the steak-house next door by our hotel but as it was Sunday evening, the place was full so we crossed the parking lot and were immediately seated here. Service was very good, the food also good.

The restaurant is ok in quality...same as any other.. But had bad experience on putting an order by phone... they put on hold for about 15 min and never took my order... I just wait to get into the restaurant...

ordered a 16 oz. sirloin medium with onions. Got a 6 oz. with mushrooms that were dry.. The broccoli was yellow and it tasted awful. They later bought me 10 oz sirloin with onions. they took the broccoli away and brought me a bowl of chilli beans with onions. They never offered to bring rolls or offer a bag of peanuts. The service was very slow. This was a very unpleasant experience and did not enjoy the meal. Just all wrong. Just been honest.

One of our favourite places to eat in San Antonio. I usually have a steak which is always done just to my liking but this time I had a half rack of ribs. Succulent, tasty and tender, it was certainly worth having. We managed to get a table straight away and received excellent service. No doubt we will visit again.

YES, they serve KRAFT macaroni and cheese. I chose this as a side dish and I do like this mac n' cheese, but not while dining out. I was shocked when the boxed dish arrived. I expected to see and taste a homemade version, but it was a cold version of the Kraft. There's pictures on the web. I would dine elsewhere next time. Who serves $0.69 sides on a $15.00 plate? The rest of the meal was good though the potatoes could have been warmer. BTW it is not all locations.

These Texas Roadhouses are just amazing have been to several in US and always loved the food . So being in Texas had to find one . The steak is amazing , no fat no gristle perfectly cooked with an excellent salad. It is a real experience particularly if you are Brits abroad you get over the shock of all the peanut shells on the floor and the immense choice of cuts, sides etc and the really casual atmosphere. Our server Mindy was excellent fully explaining everything land being very patient with our deliberations. The wine was very good too. Please come to UK and bring your beef

Visit here often as we know we will have a good time and get a great steak. Steak seems to melt in your mouth! The atmosphere and staff are friendly. Place is busy but you can pass the time eating salted shelled peanuts out of the barrel in the waiting room. The steakhouse is in a shopping center near a nice movie theater and ice cream parlor :-). Plenty of parking, but it gets crowded.

pretty large place means the wait won't be too bad. The place was hopping even when we got there late. Food was good, extensive menu means everyone should find something.

Same as the Texas roadhouse anywhere else in the states. You always have to wait though. similar menus all across the states and plenty of peanuts. Not quite fine dining but worth the stop if you want something familiar and cozy. You can still pick you own steaks from the fridge!

I've eaten steaks in 10 countries and 42 states and the Texas Roadhouse steaks are absolutely the BEST on the planet! So, far, after about 6 visits in the last 2 months I am still not disappointed. The most flavorful of the line is their Ribeye (about 10 oz), but I like the petite sirloin (6 oz) which is just right with the large sized portions served with your dinner. During the week if you get there before 6:00pm they have a Special Menu for less than $10. I will end this review by telling the viewer that in my opinion if you need steak sauce with your steak it means the steak has no flavor and needs something else. Texas Roadhouse steaks come sizzling to the table with all the flavor you need.

We had a medium rare steak, a medium steak, and a medium well done steak. Each one was cooked perfectly! Also had a pulled pork sandwich that was also terrific! Side dishes were also very very good. Rolls were so good we looked up the recipe online. Wish we had one of these restaurants nearby.

We were customers two nights in a row for dinner. The first night we called ahead and showed up 15 minutes later as promised. We had a party of 8 and were visiting with my son who had just graduated BMT. 6 of our party were on hand and a table was ready, but they would not seat us because the other two were not present (one was in the restroom and one parking the car). They gave our table away. I asked for the manager and when she arrived (Becka), I explained that my son had to be back on base by 8p, leaving us a very limited time to dine and would she be willing to help. Instead of taking advantage of the situation to make a positive impact, she very politely quoted us the policy of this establishment and left us to wait 20 minutes for the next table. She had an awesome opportunity to use her role to help solve our issue by way of a little flexibility (our party were all within 30 seconds of the host stand) and simply make a common sense exception to the rule. Too bad! Because of her decision we ended up having to rush through our dinner. On the positive side, our server Serena was excellent the first evening and Alyssa was just as good the second visit. Managers are in place and empowered to assess situations and make decisions to help create positive experiences for customers without creating risk for the business. I hope Becka's supervisor takes a moment to coach her (not scold her) on how this could have been handled better.

I have eaten at several Texas Roadhouses in different states and this one doesn't disappoint. The food was prepared as we requested it and was very good. Seating time was reasonable considering we were there on a Friday evening and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.

Our Son took us out to lunch here on Fathers day and as usual they did not disappoint. Everything was very good. I don't like blood or even pink in my meat and they never can get that right. I think the cooks hate to make the meat too done? I did eat it pink but still prefer it well done. If that is the only problem I can handle that. Great service as usual.

Steak was not very tasty, and overcooked, wife had meatloaf and did not have mush flavor. Not sure if we went on a bad day but the food was not very good. The service was good, but the place looked pretty dead.

I love the Texas Roadhouse brand and have visited their locations around the Country for many years. However on my most recent visit to this location I had to endure a child playing his Xbox or whatever console he was using whilst sat at the bar with his parents. This is most irritating as the bells, dings and other erroneous noises coming from the console interfered with my listening pleasure of the music playing on the speakers above which is part of my enjoyment each time I visit. I’ve noticed that parents with young children are skipping the wait time by trying to find a space at the bar. Surely the “family” part of dining should be contained in the main dining area and only allow drinking age persons in the bar area. In Texas Roadhouse defense.. this is becoming more prevalent at a lot of restaurants. Do we childless adults have any sanctuary??

Called in a to-go order and was told about 45 minutes. I went in 45 minutes later and my order was ready. They checked the order in front of me to make sure everything was there and correct. Everyone was very friendly even though it was a busy Friday night.

Since they are not open early during the week this is the 1st time we have been to this location. Had a great waitress and took great care of us. Everything was excellent. Entire meal was tasty. Thanks just wish they were open earlier another day of the week.

Food and service was great. Food was served up fast and tasted so good. Service was spot on. I will go back again soon. I had the salmon which was tasty. So many sides to choose from. I had sweet potato, highly recommend, nong with broccoli. The chili is also so good. Great place to bring the whole family

It's my favorite restaurant to spend a good and happy time with my friends after along working day and having the 16 oz. Sirloin . They have good waitresses and chef .

Awesome service: couldn't ask for more attentive server, took pictures even after we finished our meals outside. They went above and beyond. Steaks were tender & juicy, sweet tea was awesome, rolls were endless& HOT right out of the oven along side the cinnamon butter!! Delicious. Amazing. We WILL always be back! Great time.

This was my first time at a Texas Road House. We called ahead so there was not much of a wait to be seated. The bread & butter was really good and it just keeps coming. Our meals were also good. We got steak & shrimp. We left full and satisfied. The price was more than I thought the food was worth. To me it tasted the same as some of the other places that serve steak for a little less. Overall it was a good meal and I would dine here again.

We came Sunday noon. Very crowded. We reserved table in advance so we had to wait 10 minutes. People that came spontaneously had to wait a lot. tasteful food, reasonable price. Bowl of peanuts is waiting for you on table. For starter I took the Texas Chilo – small portion bat very good. I took the Bone-In Ribeye, 20 oz (see picture) delicious! Came with 2 sides: salad was OK, green been tasty. The problem was the waiting time for main dishes 50 minutes! Total for 3 people 83.75$ + Tip.

First of all, their is always a wait, their are always peanut shells on the floor. Odd, but the food is to die for. The prices are reasonable, kid friendly. But the best thing off all is the cinnamon butter provided for your dinner rolls. The kids menu has always pleased my 3 sons. Hotdogs with sausage and fries under $4. we are a family of 5, we have tried everything from ny strip steak, to country fried chicken, salads, fish. My husbands favorite is the "roadkill". Definitely one of our favorite family dining steakhouses!

This review is written from the heart. My wife and I along with two dear friends decided to go to this restaurant, on the night we arrived to San Antonio, TX. We decided to stay in the Courtyard Marriott hotel next door. From the time we enter the restaurant we were greeted with kindness. We were seated and gave our order to the nice staff member. She made our evening nice and waited on us hand and foot. The manager was so professional and kind as well. I'm going to give credit to all the staff member, they all were professional. This establishment should be awarded for service and outstanding food. If you are in this general area, do please stop in, you will not regret it. I will also recommend this restaurant and establishment to friends and family. Thank you Road house, job well done

Very satisfied with the food and staff. We had a party of 19 and waited 1hr & 25min on a Monday night, seemed everybody was celebrating a Birthday. Good job on TEAMING up in making another customer(s) satisfied.

Staff was nice, food was good and was descent price. Not much else to say. Oh the do have a Walmart up the road if you need one.

There was nothing wrong with this restaurant but there also was nothing special about it. Some Texas Roadhouse's do seem better than others. But this one just seemed average.

Three of us went for early evening dinner here which we haven’t been to four two years. It’s as good as we remember. Half rack of ribs and two sirloin steaks all cooked perfectly. Washed down with a bottle of delicious red wine. Thoroughly recommended.

After a long day at Seaworld, we wanted to sit down for a meal. We found this Texas Roadhouse and were seated immediately. We arrived before the dinner rush. Our waitress took our orders, brought our drinks, and kept the drinks (tea & soda) coming. We never had to ask for a refill. The food came out as ordered, it was hot and fresh. The bathrooms were clean which is always a plus! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop.

Actually ate here last night at 281/1604 location. Service great, atmosphere fun, steak was so tender and could how juicy it was before I even sliced into it. Flavor was so good that really didnt need steak sauce but the one they serve had a great taste that compimented steak. My ceasar salad was average, probably would get house salad next time.

We love to go here after church on Sunday noon. Love their "Roadkill" special. The food is always hot, staff very friendly, restaurant always clean. Can sometimes be loud, but still a place to eat. Also have great steaks. If you have never tried their food you need to go.

I came here with my family and the food is veeery good. The dinner rolls are the best, they’re warm and super fluffy and have this sort of cinnamon butter that’s also great. Service fast and food, the prices are good as well. You got to taste the smothered chicken 😋

I was there during my son's graduation from Lackland Air Force base.The place is beautiful , lots of music, and very busy. The food are great and the beer very cold. The service is excellent, and the cost very very reasonable.

Of course their rolls were hot and ready when we walked in! Most of our dinner was pretty good but my chicken breast on the sandwich was overcooked and dry and it didn't come with any condiments. My husband got the salmon and it was also dry. My niece got a sirloin and she enjoyed it. My 2 grandchildren ordered items from the children's menu and they were happy. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

We took our Airman Graduate for a well deserved steak dinner. We were so glad we picked this steak house. Funny thing, there is a steak house right next door with very few cars in the parking lot. This was a great sign, as Texas Roadhouse's parking lot was FULL! We were seated immediately and our server was on the ball! From appetizers to our meal... all I can say is YUMMMMMM! The steaks and ribs were so tender and full of flavor! We had quite a few leftovers and was able to enjoy them on our trip back to Florida. Even served cold, everything had so much flavor and was still tender! Definitely a place we would revisit!!!

Back in June 2015, my wife and I had had a bad experience at this restaurant. The place was filthy and we didn't get waited on so we left a went to the Texas Roadhouse on US281N and had a great experience. My wife and I decided to give this place another chance due to the fact that the management contacted me. What a pleasant surprise. It was 100% turn around from our last experience. We were greeted warmly and the hostess acted like they cared. We got to the table and the table was clean and not greasy like before. The salt and pepper shakers were even clean. We were waited on quickly by Stephanie. She is a good waitress and she was very attentive but did not over do it. The steaks were great and cooked the way we ordered. All the food we had was very good. The place was packed. The staff looked like they enjoyed being there. Kudos to the management. Y'all are doing great and I will be back. Thanks again for making my dining experience great.

tonight was my first time ever to eat at texas roadhouse it was the worse steak house ever ive ate at the steak was swimming in grease it was nasty and where the seated us at there was food all over the floor lemons limes I asked the waitress 3 times if she could sweep it up and she just laughed at us I do not recommend this place to anyone I even asked to talk to the manager and 3 people said that the manager didn't have time they were busy my fiancé will never go back again now if the manager would have come talked to us and fixed the issue everything would of been ok I'm calling there main office tomorrow morning and see what they say

Last Friday was our visit to Texas Roadhouse. We were excited because on a Friday at 7:15pm seating was available without a wait. The steak and ribs combo was tasty as was the upgraded wedge salad. Which was a bargain for a 49 cent cost. However did not realize a fully loaded baked potato was an additional cost ( just 99 cents ) but worth it ! My husband steak was a bit undercooked but okay. The sweet potato was delicious .The entrees were good but the service was BAD. We felt abandoned by our server. She pretty much took our order and disappeared,. A different server brought our meals. My beverage was never refilled and I wanted a different l steak sauce but NO server. Such a disappointing experience since the restaurant was only about one third full !!! We will not return,

I went with a friend and we had a great time...appetizers, rolls, and butter were really good...the front staff was extremely friendly with us.....it was very busy so we did have to wait....and I dislike the high chairs and booths....I prefer sitting lower but if that doesn't bother you then you'll be fine because everything was pretty good.....only complaints would be that they overheated mac and cheese in microwave and that my steak was dry toward the middle....I would of asked them to fix it but i hadn't really noticed because the outside was delicious and since I already had eaten almost half I left it alone....but I would definitely go there again....

Not ate steak for over a year as I was living overseas! So thought I would eat a filet mignon. Excellent and my friends loved theirs too! The wait staff were really friendly and attentive to detail even if the place was super busy.

This is a fun, casual place to enjoy the atmosphere, food and company. This restaurant is definitely the spot when you have something to celebrate --- along with hundreds of other people doing the same thing. The food is generous in portions, very tasty and prices aren't ridiculous. The menu has a great selection to choose from. The staring dishes are beef or chicken from filet cuts to skewered. The sides are delicious and compliment the entree well. My grilled chicken dish could have be served hotter and the steamed vegetables less steamed. So be sure to tell your waiter or waitress how you want your meal served. If he/she's good, you'll get it the way you want it. I was just too tired and hungry to send my meal back. Next time, I'll know better. Don't go to this place for a quiet meal. Its anything but quiet. The music is a tad too loud and the acoustics only make it seem louder.Not bad if you're in a party mood. But not the spot if you're trying for a romantic date to whisper sweet-nothings. I thought the wait staff is exceptional. Friendly, attentive, engaged with what you want and happy to help you make some menu selections. Please tip 20% or more. These kids are working hard and running all over the place to make the meal special.

We were in town for BMT graduation and this is where my brother requested to eat on his first day of town pass. It was only 5-6 min. from base and supe easy to get to. We arrived at about 12:30 on a Friday afternoon and we walked right in and were given a table for all 7 of us immediatly. The waitress was really nice and the food came fast and was delicious. Would highly reccomend this place anyone visiting a loved one at Lackland or anyone in the area. Nice location as well sits right below a huge regal cinema center.

If you like steaks, you will love this place. We had a Family dinner to celebrate my Wife's birthday. To our surprise our waitress was an opera singer and sang to my wife the happy birthday song

Stop here frequently when I stay at the Holiday Inn next door. Very convenient to walk from the hotel to the restaurant. Good food, good service!

Good spot good location and honored USA Military and Veterans as well. No issue,great spot good sports watched Tyson Fight on screens there ,had a goodtime and good food!

Stopped here while on vacation. Ordered the half slab of ribs. Filled the entire plate. 9 rib bones. The meat was so tender it just fell of the ribs the minute you picked them up.

We went in Jan and again this weekend. Both with a large party (15) and were disappointed both times so we won't be giving a third chance. The food was great and came out promptly and correct, but both visits our bills were incorrect and had to be adjusted. Super frustrating.

My husband, teenage son, and I all love this place. The welcome hot rolls with cinnamon butter are worth the trip. Roasted peanuts at the table make it casual and fun! We have eaten here numerous times and always get great chicken, steaks, and burgers. My husband loves the Road Kill! My teenage carnivore loves any of the beef items and has tried them all. The beer on tap is served in huge mugs and is always cold! Go here when you are hungry for good, consistent, reasonably priced beer and food served in generous portions. Do not go here if you are looking for expensive fancy gourmet food served on tiny square plates.

Our first time there and everything was great. Our Server asked if our first time there and brought us their Chili (sample appetizer) for it being our first time there. The hot rolls & cinnamon butter were delicious. Server made sure we had everything we needed and kept coming back to check on us and asked if we like the Chili. Husband loved the Portobella Mushroom Chicken, his favorite now. I truly enjoyed the Grilled BBQ Chicken.

The wait we were promised 10 minutes was 20 mins then once seated we ordered food took forever to come. We had to leave before we were finished to get back to base.

I'm a regular at TR. This one was just what I expected. Very tasty Hearty Cut Steak and the homemade Ranch dressing was great. Stop by if you need a good steak.

Popular fun place with excellent bar, great food including Texas steak and local beer. Good portions. Friendly, attentive service. Reasonable, good value. Highly recommended.

Monday night celebration of the kids surviving their first day back at school. Always seems to be busy and loud. We usually go early for the cheaper menu prices but for a family of four we were still able to walk out of there full and with the bill <$30 The bread fills you up and the cinnamon butter is well worth the visit.

Was in the area celebrating my son's birthday and went to SeaWorld. Family dinner was good, typical of what you would expect from this chain. Did not disappoint. Would return if back in the area.

We visited as a family since our grandson is graduating from BMT. In my opinion, the salad dressing is the best anywhere. Our steaks were done to perfection. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient

Fantastic place to eat. Very clean, good food and the service very quick with the meal etc... My Husband an I had the Early Dine Special (country Fried chicken w/ salads an a loaded bake potato's. Fried pickles on the side app. Food arrived hot an was very good.We were seated as soon as we got there an the waiter came very soon after that. The mgr came around the table as well an introduced himself to Us. Very nice personal, all of them looked like college students and good at there jobs. We will go back if visiting again.

Went with my brother who must use 2 canes to walk and my 91-year-old mother who uses a walker. We had the early bird specials, which are an excellent value. Food was very good. Service was so-so. Asked for more rolls, which waitress forgot. Was never offered the complimentary peanuts. When she refilled my drink, I was seated at far seat and she said, "Gimme the glass" to refill it, which was rude. But when we went to leave, we found that a 50-ish woman with a walker had blocked the exit from our area. She refused to move her chair to let us pass, telling my 91-year-old mother to take the long way around (which was quite a long way around through two other sections of the restaurant. Neither staff nor management was concerned about the entrance to this area being blocked, which was definitely a fire hazard. They would not clear entrance. If you have mobility issues, I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.

This location is right off the interstate, about 15 minutes away from Lackland, so good for a town pass dinner with your airman. Glad we arrived earlier (4:00 ish). When we left there was a waiting line that we could not have waited for. The food was delicious, steak cooked perfectly, service was super attentive and friendly. We were visited by the manager to check on our meal and to say thank you for your service. The onion petals were crisp, perfectly cooked. Rolls were warm, buttery, and soft. Steaks - the 8 oz was just the right size. The 11 oz was just a bit big for a tummy whose been running and pt-ing for the last 7.5 weeks. If you have peanut allergies - STAY AWAY - peanuts are served on the table in a metal pail.

We stayed at Comfort Suites near SeaWorld and Texas Roadhouse was nearby. The food was great! Everyone in our group enjoyed the food (sirloin, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, etc.). Everything was hot and tasty.

The Texas Roadhouse theme is formulaic; steak house, peanuts on the floor, sports on the big screen, etc. What is not typical however is this particular establishment’s mastery of execution. The wait staff, bus staff, cooks and restaurant management deserve a hearty Texas cheer for their five star performances. Every little detail exceeded expectations. If you are bringing your newly minted airman out for his/her first meal off base in 8 ½ weeks Texas Roadhouse is the place to go.

My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner. The staff was very good at our table. The food was delicious. One of the few Texas Roadhouses that we have been too that was not very noisy, we could actually talk across the table to each other. Great place.

We travel a lot and we always end up eating at a Texas Roadhouse (because it's our favorite!!!) so this trip was compared to other Roadhouses. 1.) We have a young daughter so we asked for a highchair. They sat us in an elevated booth with a step, in a BUSY corner. Servers were carrying food over top of her head, people were bumping into her and I had to break my back to feed her. 2.) The roll plates, as we call them, were dirty. Not just a few tiny specks, but large leftovers dries onto it. You could clearly see this was not clean when it came out of the dishwasher. 3.) The sweet tea was watery. 4.) No military discount. Every other Texas Roadhouse has had a small to large discount, in terms of discounts, and we gladly refer other military families. This one had nothing. 5.) Server was friendly, but we got lack luster service due to being in the corner were all the servers entered their tickets. We won't be going back to the Texas Roadhouse.

My kids love this place. We stopped in for an early dinner (5 20 pm) to beat the rush. This location gets extremely busy from 5:45 pm to 7:30 pm. Parking is usually a pain during the rush as well. Compared to other Texas Roadhouses the food here tastes better and the adult beverages are better here as well. The bartender has a heavy hand :-) The only downfall on this visit was the amount of fat my wife had on her steak compared to every time we've gone (we go at least once a month). She ended up throwing most of her steak away because of the amount of fat it had on it. To be honest it did have a lot on it. Sides were done perfectly and the kids enjoyed their meals as well.

We choose to come here occasionally. However, it is not our favorite as the LOUD MUSIC and the volume one has to use to connect with the servers make it hard even to order. They have chicken fried steak and red beef, as well. However the ambiance is loud and the peanut shells all over the floor and under the tables just does not go well with a place that I care to come to often!

Can't say good enough things about this place !! I used to eat here frequently & just started venturing out to other restaurants. I came here the other day due to a friend living close by . I'm so mad @ myself that it took so long for me to get back here . Everything was awesome !! The cinnamon rolls ( try to eat just one ) melted in my mouth . I had the cheeseburger. First time having that here . I was not disappointed. Service was excellent. The portions are big . The prices are more than reasonable.
