Outstanding food, outstanding service!!

By tammynpk52 |

We enjoy a Brazilian Steakhouse, so thought we'd try this one while staying nearby. This was outstanding. The food was hot, delicious, and a wider variety than most. The service was impeccable, not only the meat servers, but our own waiter who tended our every need. THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!!

Awesome again...

By Tony G |

The quality of food, beverages, and service is still at a high level, I can even say better. Waitress are extremely nice, always ready to fulfill your needs, offering different cuts, trying to make your meal perfect. If you have questions, need a picture, or just wants to ask a question, any of them are presto to take care of your needs. I consider this restaurant expensive; but if you want to have a good experience for sure, it is the right place.

Love love love

Really good food, good service and nice ambiance. Loved everything about it. Highly recommend this place.

Texas De Brazil

By Dinora S |

This is an upscale/fine dining restaurant. The ambiance is great including the service. There is practically no waiting time in this restaurant, less than 10 minutes, The one in Doral on 12 street tend to have a waiting time of 15 minutes or more. They offer a variety of menu on their buffet salad bar. The steaks are sumptuous and tasty. The service is attentive and professional. For veggie lovers, the salad bar is the best I have had. My husband and I had a great time here. If you are meat lovers, go easy on the salad bar in order that you can eat as much beef as you can manage. Take your time eating, enjoy the ambiance and each others company.

what happened to the salad bar??

By pepehabana |

I have been eating here for years, may be 100 times, now after COVID today june 8 I went at 5 pm, salad bar has no real parmigiano cheese , no large beefsteak tomatoes, and no large cooked pepper plates...these were the 3 high lights of the salad bar!!! terrible, price is the same and it seems business is bad and owner cutting corners,,,,so terrible

Delicious

By SFLMOM1 |

You definitely have to go with an appetite and an ability to pace yourself. The options just keep coming and if you aren't careful, you will fill up fast and miss out on half of it. There is a large salad bar area with different sides to choose from but the meats are the main reason my husband and I visit. All of the meats are really flavorful and you don't have to worry about it being over or undercooked because when they come around, there are several pieces on the skewers cooked at different temperatures. Delicious.

Delicious food

By Irene V. |

Waiting time is about 30 to 45 minutes (if yoi go in the weekend). Service was very friendly and fast, the food cooked to perfection. The place us welcoming to families, couples or groups of friends. Defenitly will be coming back soon.

Great food, great wine, good service

By Tony G |

We use to go to the Dolphin Mall Texas de Brazil, but this one, inside the Dadeland is a new one. The food is the same, very good both, the rodizio and the salad bar. The waitress were extremely good, asking for our preferences and taking care of our needs. The person who brings the wine cart was knowledgeable about it, and was able to make good suggestions. The place was clean, organized, and beautiful. The only weird thing was the little blond lady at the entrance, asking for my phone number with no reason, unable to explain why, and unable to communicate, like a robot. Gate keepers are the first impression the costumer receive; they have to be charismatic and nice. I do believe Texas de Brazil is too expensive.

Meat on a Skewer? Hell Yeah!!!

By Gino O |

Nothing like amazing meat being brought to you over and over. Call me wild, but loved the experience and tastiness of this typical Brazilian fashioned service. Choose what you like, they just keep coming with more, until you can eat no more. ^_^

Thanksgiving 2015

By Diego |

I made reservations in advance for my family (party of 6) and we were quickly seated when we arrived. The service was amazing and everyone was very pleased with the food and dessert. In addition to their typical cuisine, they also had Thanksgiving fixtures such as cranberry sauce and turkey. If it was up to me I'd make this the family tradition every year.

THE BEST STEAKHOUSE IN MIAMI!

By P L |

Steak servers walk around and offer you all kids of high quality meats, while a hot line serves the famous Brazilian Fechuadas, and other side dishes. A huge salad bar tops off the awesome experience! You need to prepare your visit in advance by fasting for a few days since you will feel guilty with all the food that comes by your table!

AMAZING!!!!

By Voyage560323 |

I love this place! The General Manager Julio Castano provides the best service I have ever experienced in any food establishment thus far. I have come to Texas for lunch and dinner and during both I have received nothing but exceptional service. The waiters are attentive and remember any and all special orders. It is always clean and nothing but a pleasure to dine here at least once a week. Nothing but amazing things to say about Texas De Brazil in Dadeland Mall.

Great place even for vegetarians!

By Kornélie Ú |

I was totally impressed by salad bar. Delicious food, outstanding service and phenomenal drinks! We enjoyed our dinner experience so much, we'll be back for sure :-) Special Thanks to our server Mike! - Crazy banana girl haha

Excellent Quality Meat

By Alejandro Z |

It has been a while since I was here. I found the meat better than Fogo de Chao. Will certainly come more often.

This is a GREAT Restaurant....

By Jorge V |

This is a GREAT Restaurant for LUNCH. Beautiful, Amazing Food with a a very GOOD service. The price for Lunch worth the experience. The price for Dinner it's costly.

Great place for a date

By joni8084 |

We had an excellent waiter, pretty view from the outdoor seating area and a wonderful meal complete with a terrific bottle of wine.

Not like the others

By jos3girls |

Went here for dinner last night the salad bar was great but the meats were not as good as the other ones we have gone to and they kept coming around with the same 2 foods. The service was very spotty didn’t even fill out water glasses without finding someone to do it . Was very disappointed

Dinner on the patio!

By mwooduk |

Came with hubby and a friend and his son for dinner on the patio as due to Covid - you can’t eat inside right now. Service was much better than our last visit. I had just the salad bar and you check off on a paper sheet which items you want and the server brings it to you. In the past you could serve yourself. It’s very expensive here but the quality of the food is very good and those Brazilian bread rolls are yummy! You must make a reservation.

Valentines Day

By K4886MSisabelc |

All I can say is, FABULOUS!!! From the moment we sat down to leaving, the attention to detail was impeccable. The manager came by and noticed I was wearing black slacks and offered a black napkin so that I didn't get white lint on them. That is excellent customer service. Rui was our waiter and he was wonderful. The food was exceptional. Will definitely go again.

Dadeland Texas de Brazil not so good

By GoPlaces334486 |

No idea what happened…price is still high but several items missing. Gauchos only offering sirloin, sausage and chicken. We requested other meat and apparently you have to ORDER it-took so long we never saw lamb chops, ribs, bacon wrapped filet. The fish stew is no longer on the hot bar. We won’t go back. Hoping that the one on South Beach hasn’t deteriorated!

Happy Hour

By YourHelpfulWendy |

Oh, Wao, I have not been to Texas in a long time and recently went for an event they had there. I ate delicious food like no other!!! Garlic chicken, tender and not too salty! The cheese platter was delightful and looking so pretty as you can see in my pictures. My favorite things were their bread and their caipirinhas...WAO to die for. That bread with some cheese inside was served warm and so moist I could eat 10 without noticing. The caipirinha was great with a nice amount of alcohol and not too sweet. Service was great and I love that we can park for free in the mall's big parking lot.

Good food - terrible service

By mwooduk |

My husband and I came here with a friend last night and we were the only people eating in the restaurant as it has recently reopened. Reservations are required and can be done via Open Table. Masks are not required as you go in but they are required along with gloves if you want to go to the toilet… Go figure. The service was awful - the worst we have ever had here. Food was excellent although the new rules are that to get food from the salad bar, you can no longer help yourself at the buffet but you have to fill out a form and the server brings you the items you requested on your form which was a great idea. We had to ask 4 times for water, 4 times for salt and pepper because now salt and pepper have to be brought in packets, and we were not told when we sat down that if you wanted ribs or lamb chops they had to be ordered as they take 25 minutes to come - we were only told this at the end of our meal when we asked why we hadn’t got the lamb chops. We also had to ask for lamb four times before it came. Considering so many servers were standing around doing nothing, I do not understand why they didn’t help the other server that was trying to take care of us. Considering this is not an inexpensive place, you do expect the service to be better. To be fair to the restaurant - pre-Covid the service was excellent. Not sure if they have hired new people who are not trained properly but they need to do a lot better if they want to encourage people to come back and pay the high prices.

Great Food and Customer Service

By sabon001 |

This is a great place for both meat lovers and salad lovers. Its a all you can eat Brazilian meat. But if your not into meat they also have an all you can eat salad table in the middle. How it works is each table has a round circle, one side is red which means no more food, and one side is green which means more food. When your ready you flip it to green and servers carrying various kinds of meat will come and offer you some. You can choose which meat you wish as well as how well done you want it to be. For the salad you just pick up a plate at the salad bar and take whatever you wish. You can also get a plate for the meat from here. Let your server know if you pick whatever meat you want how you like it well done, medium, etc. Once you have chosen the server will start to cut a piece for you and you take the tongs on your table and grab the meat and place it on your plate. Be sure to let them know how much you want of the cut. My favorite is churrasco or flank steak. They also have tasty desserts. Be aware that wines and beers depending on what you get can cost. Its best to go during lunch as it is cheaper then dinner. The staff was very kind and the managers are constantly passing to ask how your meal is going. If for some reason you can't get your server you can flag down another and they will be more then willing to help you out. It can be a bit costly but you pay for what you get and thats good food. For three people who had soda with 2 desserts it came to about $105. Which isn't bad for the service and the all you can eat salad and meat. Finally once you want no more food turn the sign to the red sign. Sometimes they may not see it and still offer you food and you have to do is politely decline and they will move on.

Consistency At Its Best

By Margarita E |

Whether you are a vegetarian or meat lover, Texas de Brazil is the place to visit. Believe it or not, we love going to Texas de Brazil for their amazing salad bar. Although I do eat meat, I always go for my favorite items in the salad bar such as their Lobster Bisque, Sushi, manchego cheese, peppers, and the list is endless. You can always count on everything being fresh. And to finish a great meal, do not forget to order their delicious coffee and dessert. The cheesecake and coconut pie are too die for. And if you're as picky as we are and we require service from staff to be outstanding as well, Texas de Brazil located at Dadeland Mall will provide you with excellent food and even better service. We can always count on Leo, the Event Manager, strives to make sure our experience at Texas de Brazil is one to remember. He takes pride in making sure that every table has everything they need. You can have great food, but if the service is not up to par, you will not return. This is why we continue to visit our favorite Texas de Brazil site. We hope you do too.

Best Texas Brazil so far

By Robert H |

We stopped in for lunch the service was attentive and meats were well flavored. 'The salad bar was nice clean and not bad. The desserts were included but it was not that fine.

Fantastic food!

By mwooduk |

Fabulous dinner on a Sunday night. It is expensive but the cuts of meat and the quality of the salad bar and the variety of food is fantastic. Don’t miss the Brazilian cheese bread balls which are brought to the table. Outstanding. Service was good and make sure you leave room for the better cuts of meat which they bring after you’ve had the cheaper cuts of meat! For example they will bring chicken wrapped in bacon at the beginning, don’t fill up on that - wait for the sirloin, the skirt steak, and the lamb chops. You can easily bring vegetarians here as the salad bar alone is outstanding with lots of unusual choices. It is expensive but it’s a great place to bring guests from out of town or for special occasions.

Filling meal: be hungry!

By GypsyTraveller94 |

The salad bar looked so good we decided the meat wasn’t necessary. The meat looks great, but the salad bar has prosciutto, fancy cheese, all kinds of vegetables, fish and soup. Plus brunch includes desserts, which is fantastic. Brazilian cocktails were great, super service. The only downside is it’s in a mall and has that mall restaurant kind of vibe. But recommend.

Great Food

By Toulouse1965 |

Excellent meat and salad bar. The pasage of the gauchos with the meat is not optimal and you have to insit for them to come to your table. The prices are high but the quality of the meats is quite good. They have a kids menu at a fair price.

Very bad service

By Aloma |

We had a reservation for 1.30 pm. We know that the Mothers Day is a special day but the house must be prepared for this day as the reservation was accepted. We waited 1 hour and a half for a table. The service was poor, slow, the employees was completely lost.Missing coordination and your manager Joelly was not kindly .All there was stressed I believe that you must apply the customer service course .I'll never back in this location. It was frustrated experience. The Rodizio was poor too.Long time to remove the dirty plates and serve the drinks .

Great Venue to celebrate Birthday

By Edmund438 |

If you love beef "your way" with a wide variety and all you can eat, this is the place. A great salad bar (save room for the beef) and awesome lobster bisque (I had two dishes). The Manager, Oscar Garcia is very accommodating and runs a fine business. Everything is clan and neat. Venue and atmosphere are delightful. Our waiter, Mychal, was very knowledgeable, friendly, polite, courteous and attentive. This is the place to relax and enjoy your family birthday celebration. We collect and consume wines. Mychal recommended "Numina", a delicious wine from Mendoza which had great smooth structure and very reasonably priced. The sword carrying wait staff were very cordial and attentive bringing the cuts we wanted cooked the way we wanted. I am a medium rare beef eater and Mychal insured the cooking staff and servers knew my desires. Was a very enjoyable and happy birthday.

For Beef Eaters

By Edmund438 |

Come hungry with an empty stomach, relax and enjoy a wonderful dinner. Texas de Brazil is a truly unique experience where you chose the cuts of steak, chicken and pork when and as you are ready. Cut to your liking (medium rare for me). Also delicious sausage. An interesting wine list to go with the beef. Their salad bar is more than salads. You could make a meal of the salad bar selections, but be careful not to fill up there so you have room for the beef varieties. Begin with the awesome and delicious lobster bisque. We have been to other T de B locations and this is the best. New and conveniently located in Dadeland Mall. The GM is Oscar Garcia and he makes the round to insure everyone is satisfied. Our waiter was Ronald S; and he was excellent, friendly and attentive. They have excellent desserts too. Go and Enjoy.

GO-TO restaurant for steak lovers

By Royale |

This is an "all you can eat" type restaurant. Great choice at the salad bar, more than 20 beautifully presented delicious treats. The varied grill meats are presented to your table for you to choose. Great quality and grilled to your requested doness (medium, medium rare or well done). You also get a selection of side dishes.

Meet Meat

By MartinBellin |

There is no menu, but a great buffet and ongoing service where you can chose from freshly cooked or grilled meat. Within a couple of minutes you will fall into the meat coma - be aware of this. We loved to be there and can recommend the restaurant. Good service, good food, nice atmosphere. What can we expect more in a restaurant attached to a mall. Well done.

ASK WHAT THEY HAVE TO SERVE, AND DON'T HAVE BEFORE BEING SEATED

By Annie143Florida |

We usually enjoy a dinner at Texas de Brazil. We took my MIL to dinner the Tuesday after Mother's Day, for a belated Mother's Day dinner. After being seated, served drinks, a trip to the salad bar, and two beef cuts brought to the table, we were told that the restaurant was basically out of 80% of the meat offerings because of being busy the previous Sunday, which was Mother's Day. There was no chicken, no pork, no sausages, and only 2 kinds of beef. We paid $60 per head, and were not served anywhere near the variety of meat, advertised and normally offered. Had we been told about the lack of food before we were seated and began eating, we would have left. Apparently, that is exactly why we weren't told until we had committed to the meal and to pay the full price. I sent two emails to the corporate office asking for them to contact me and I would expect them to agree to a partial credit, and was ignored. That is extremely poor customer service, and frankly, a bait and switch. The takeaway: ask about what they really have and don't have before you are seated. We will not return.

Thanksgiving dinner

By MrsG9310 |

We just came back from Thanksgiving dinner here. We had a bit of a rough start when our reservation seemed not to make any difference in wait time. The host made it up to us with a bottle of wine, and we were seated shortly. The dinner and service were wonderful. The gauchos came to the table regularly carving excellent meats of all varieties - beef, pork, lamb, sausages and chicken. The salad bar is filled with unique and delicious items (hearts of palm, salami and cheeses.) We enjoyed dinner very much. Because it was Thanksgiving, dessert was included in the price. I think that because the meats and salad bar were all so delicious, the desserts seemed lackluster after all that.

I don't like this place at all

By ALMD |

The food here is very greasy, with no good taste. The service is slow. I will not go back there ever again. Avoid. There are a lot of great restaurants in the area way better than this one.

Dinner Meeting

By nibaldom2015 |

Have been here on various occasions, and this restaurant is always on point. This is an all you can eat Steakhouse. They have an enormous salad bar including sushi, cold cuts as well as delicious soups. This is a tip, if you want to enjoy all the different type of meats, chicken, sausage and lamb don’t overeat at the salad bar. This is a place where you will probably overeat, but well worth it. There sweat treats are also very good. Enjoy

Delicious!

By mwooduk |

Our friends brought us here for dinner on a Sunday night. We went early at 6 PM and it was not too crowded. It is expensive here but the cuts of meat and the quality of the salad bar and the variety of food is fantastic. Service was good and wines by the glass for around $10 each. Next to the salad bar is an area full of hot dishes just potatoes, rice and beans, different vegetables etc. The service bring cuts of meat straight to your table and you take the meat with tongs right off the meat itself. The secret here is not to fill up on the cheaper cuts of meat at the beginning, but to wait until they bring around the really good stuff. In the beginning they’ll bring you pork and chicken but after a while they bring the most fantastic skirt steak, lamb chops, and other really high quality meats that are well worth waiting for.You can also opt for the salad bar only and it is well worth the money but the large variety of fantastic options. It includes sushi, salmon, and many unusual vegetables like hearts of palm etc. Excellent dinner!

We love eating at the bar.

By Kris D |

Regular menu is for big eaters is is quite extensive, and the salad bar is huge. We like eating at the bar where they have s smaller menu and you can enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal. Excellent service, atmosphere and food. Can get pricey.

Wonderful Restaurant, wines expensive

By Elvira G |

It is a wonderful Restaurant in terms of quality of the different types of meats that they offer in their menu, which is also very varied, but the wines are very expensive. The waitress's attention was EXCELLENT

Food great, service OUTSTANDING

By Lexer75 |

We love this place, but I have to say the experience this night was all about Luis, our server. He was incredible. My family agrees, that was the best service we have received. The food is incredible of course.

great Meat

By RobS |

The atmosphere is very good, however the chairs are not comfortable. The waitress was not good. she did a poor job clearing the table. She also had an attitude issue.THE BEST two items were the short ribs & the currasco steak. Would only go back a special occasion.

Yummy!

By Damaris33 |

Food is great! You have to have a lot of appetite. The variety of the meats is great. I was full pretty quick. The choices of salad is great, you can actually have a good dinner without the meat, but you have to try the meat! Leave space for deserts!!

Went for a birthday celebration

By 788virginia |

Went for a birthday celebration with a $250 gift card; found out that the card had $2.52 even though we had never used it until last night; manager said that we should call corporate office the next day, as the card had been hacked; nobody answered the phone at corporate office; left multiple messages on voicemail; no answer. Beware of Texas de Brazil gift cards.

very bad nigth

By Orlando C |

well i normally dont do this i always try to give good reviews to the places that i visit but this one really got me very mad and disappointed well we literally had to share the food bicos they almost dont stop in our table the circle with red and green that you have in you table that red means that you dont want food and green means that you want it dont mean nothing to them i spoke with the general manager about the service and he response was that the next time he will take care of me and my family i dont plan to come back to pay for share my food in a restaurant that you suppose to have a sing at you table for stop the servents to bring you food

"The Place For Beef"

By Edmund438 |

We always enjoy a family dinner event here. Nicely located in Dadeland Mall with great atmosphere and ambiance. The management and staff are all exceptional; Customer Service and Attentiveness are done right here, consistently and continually. The hot lobster bisque is a two-bowl must. Beautifully appointed salad and vegetables bar that can easily provide a full meal; but, save room for the cuts of steak. Delicious and tender, cooked to your liking. Here is where you relax and enjoy your family along with the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Go and see, enjoy and eat.

Excelente lugar

By Sadys G |

We were at the restaurant today for lunch, we were completely satisfied, the food was spectacular, the attention of the waiters from 1 to 10 I would say 20, everyone's kindness was exceptional, I only remember José's name but thank you very much to all and see you soon

Lots of food but average quality

By GetAway4us23 |

This place is great if you are starving or doing a low carb diet. All the meat is average quality. The meat is seasoned well but all taste the same. The all you can eat salad and appetizer bar is really good. The service is always A+. A little over priced for the quality of meat being served.

Best Texas de Brazil in Miami

By Sharon G |

Beautifully managed restaurant under the guidance of Mr. Leo Pedrosoo. The restaurant is not only beautiful but located in one of Miami's major shopping malls, Dateland mall. The food is absolutely delicious with between 50 to 60 items on the salad bar alone. Then the meats. Oh the wonderful meats - 16 selections all hand carved at your table. There is a very good dessert selection as well, if anyone could ever get that far. A full bar menu also awaits. Thank you Denisa, our wonderful professional waitress, for the best of the best service anyone could ask for.

Brazilian style meat buffet wiht great salad bar

By Scott W |

Having lived in Brazil and being very familiar with the roving buffet style of eating, we were looking forward to trying out this place. First the positives. This location is on the second floor of a mall so parking isn't a problem if you don't want to valet. They have indoor and some outdoor tables and the restaurant is fairly large. Reservations via Open Table worked well. The salad bar was amazing with lots of hot and cold dishes including smoked salmon, shrimp, lobster bisque, asparagus, artichoke, mozzarella, proscuitto, hearts of palm, taboule, sushi, in addition to the usual salad fare. I am told you can just have the salad bar for $25 instead of the full $47 price. I found the caipirinha cocktail ($12) to be watered down as was the caipiroshka (made with Grey Goose vodka). Some of the meats were very good, such as the picanha, bacon wrapped filet mignon, skirt steak. We liked the sausages and the parmesan crusted chicken. The main issue we had was there seemed to be a problem with our waiter. The manager seemed to be disciplining him and he kept complaining to us about how slow the other waiters were that were bringing the meats. Out of the blue he brought us a plate of mashed potatoes and bananas we didn't want or ask for. We weren't offered any of the traditional side dishes (rice, farofa, fried cassava/yucca, etc but maybe we missed them at the salad bar). When it came time to settle up he asked for his tip to be in cash as opposed to being put on the bill. Not sure if this is common practice at this place but since all the other waiters are doing the work of bringing endless rounds of meats, I found this to be questionable and suspected (no proof just my suspicion) he may do this to avoid sharing his tips fully with the others. One at our table said the Miami Beach location was better so may go there next time.

Expensive but the meat is fabulous!

By mwooduk |

First of all, I love the salad bar here as it contains all kinds of treats that I don't normally get exposed to, however, my husband, who prefers very basic salads, does not like the salad bar as there is only lettuce and tomatoes for him to eat. For me, I am thrilled to have roasted peppers, salmon, asparagus, cabbage, hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, beets etc., he not so much so just to be aware, it is a high end salad bar. There is also a side bar of rice, black beans, bacon etc., that you can get as an accompaniment to your meal. The meats are unbelievably good, especially the top sirloin and the churrasco; I am only giving 4 stars this visit as my lamb chops were not so great this trip, very chewy and fatty. The churrasco was outstanding though. We also love the Brazilian cheese bread rolls that come with the meal. Our server was new, and did not seem to be extremely well trained and had to keep asking questions to answers he didn't know. He was very pleasant and very nice, however I did have to ask three times for lamb to be brought to the table. Still a fabulous array of foods and a great dining experience. However, it was our wedding anniversary (mentioned in the Open Table booking) and we were not offered anything extra like a complimentary dessert or anything along those lines although the waiter did say Happy Anniversary which was appreciated. :-)

Outstanding pre-Super Bowl week dinner

By Clifffoto |

I had my reservations if I would enjoy myself or not since I had to pay $5 to park but I figured, I might as well I drove that far in traffic on a Sunday the week before the Super Bowl. I was seated and the young man, Brett greeted me happily and he did everything he could to ensure that my meal was awesome. The gauchos did not bother bringing me the items I did not want, they constantly came out with bacon-wrapped filet, regular filet and bacon wrapped chicken, my three favorites. I am diabetic and Eating meat with a side of meat is about the healthiest thing I can eat and I love this place. I live in Tampa and I go to the location in Tampa a couple times a week but I am thankful that I gave this place a chance. Outstanding service and thank you.

All you can eat Brazil style

By evanses5 |

This is an elegant all you can eat place. It is pricey. My sister got the salad bar which came with marinated shrimp, salmon, salad greens extraordinaire, lobster bisque, and rice and beans. For twice the price we added all the meats at about $50. Come hungry!

Most expensive food.

By mrt01748 |

The price was so high, $50.00 per person that we just turned around. We were going to seat when the waitress informed us of the price. eat as much as you can from a Buffet. How much can you eat?

Big party

By Jose J |

No brainer. Solid four star. Service is good. The picanha, the garlic picanha and the churrasco are very good.

Wonderful Wedding Anniversary Celebration

By mwooduk |

When we first arrived we were seated next to a family with a badly behaved rude child who kept screaming; this being Miami, the parents did nothing about it. We complained to the manager because it was our wedding anniversary and we wanted a romantic quiet dinner. He was very understanding, moved us to the back of the restaurant to a much nicer table and gave us two free glasses of prosecco for the trouble. Now that's customer Service! Very nice guy indeed. Food was awesome, outstanding and salad bar delicious. Cheese bread is to die for! They also offered us a complimentary dessert but we were too full. Thank you for being understanding. Can't wait to return and highly recommended!

Great food service not so much

By Canesbiggdogg |

I went to lunch with my son and girlfriend. We got there at 2pm for a late lunch. We had to wait to be seated 39 minutes even though there were several tables open because there were only 3 waiters working. Once we were seated the food was very good. Our waiter was very busy with his other tables and we hardly saw him. It took a long time to get our waters refilled. The manager Oscar came by and apologized for the service and gave us a discount. We will be back as food was really good.

Barbecue

By Wesleyaz |

Good barbecue place to try the best meats you can imagine, from Brazil. I knew the owner is Mexican, but still good place!

Nice lunch

By Esther I |

This concept works well if the waiter is attentive to your Table, otherwise you are in no man’s land. The prices Are set and good. Be careful ordering dessert, it’s extra And they do not tell u until you get the bill.

Great lunch experience

By EugeC |

Texas de Brazil is located on the upper level of the Dadeland Mall. Well worth a stop for meat lovers! Wide variety served by gauchos who bring the skewers of meat to diners' tables -- filet mignon, beef ribs, pork, lamb, etc. Good selection at the salad area as well.

It’s was ok

By David G |

The service was a bit off meaning waiting for my drink to come when it was empty. Check didn’t come until 20 mind later.

A great Rodizio addition to the Dadeland Mall.

By EJGMIA |

This new addition to Dadeland Mall is excellent. Fine decor, ample and a great location within the expansion of the Mall. The meats , as usual, are excellent and the salad bar could not be better. Now I don't have to drive to Dolphin Mall to get a Rodizio experience. Prices are on the high side, particularly drinks and desserts but the quality of the meats could not be better. Service was very good, even though the restaurant has not been open long. Some of the waiters did not know the names of the servings yet! One called the "linguisa" a "chorizo"! Lunch for two with tip was $89.

Great Food and good service

By Josefina De Boer |

Although I am not a meat eater, I like to go for the salad bar and the capirinha. The service is excellent, always very friendly people serving you. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable The three of us my daughter, my granddaughter and I took only the salads and my son in law and grandson took the meat. As Always very good

Amazing!

By Danielle L |

My husband and I went to the mall to roam around and grab a bite to eat. We were expecting the typical mall food and basic chain restaurants until we found this place. It was clean and well put together. We didn't see a menu outside on the wall like the other places, so we stepped in to inquire. Upon entering the hostess was friendly and very helpful to answer our questions. We sat down... Oh dear lord! The waiter, Ronald, was top notch. Explained everything! We helped yourself to the salad bar, again oh my! Anything from grilled provolone, to huge olives, smoked salmon, goat cheese, various pastas - all so tasty. Then we sat down and turned the card to green for the meat to come... And boy did it!! Sirloin steak, flank steak, bacon wrapped chicken, parm crusted pork loin, roasted leg of lamb, Brazilian sausage - so much! And they didn't stop walking around offering you fresh meat until you turned the card over. For two adults at lunch - $50! That's an amazing price for the quality and selection we had!! We will be back again before heading home! Pictures is a salad my husband made before the meat started coming around :D

The Best Steak House

By Edmund438 |

The Dadeland Texas de Brazil opened earlier this year and it is a stunning atmosphere and environment conveniently located on the Terrace Level in Dadeland Mall. General Manager Oscar Garcia is fantastic; always welcoming and checking to insure you are comfortable and satisfied. The food bar presentations are great and the beef is awesome. Their Lobster Bisque is very delicious (I had two bowls). The staff there is very attentive, polite and courteous. I like medium rare beef. When I told each server, they remembered and came back to me with medium rare (great service). We four celebrated a family event as we have done previously this year. This is the place for beef lovers. They have an excellent wine list too. We have had their wines from Northern California, Argentina and Chile. Yesterday we chose the Texas de Brazil Cab and it was excellent. Anthony was our waiter and he is extraordinary. Go and enjoy. We are thinking about our next visit.

Great Food But Even Better Customer Service

By Margarita E |

My sister and I love trying new restaurants and different types of cuisine. We believe that what makes a great restaurant is the overall package. Great service by all staff from being greeted to being served is just as important as great food. If the food is great, but the service is terrible, chances are we will never return to that restaurant. With that being said, we just recently visited Texas de Brazil at Dadeland Mall for the first time. Because we are not avid meat eaters, we were a bit hesitant about going in. We were greeted by Leonardo, the Event Manager. We asked if it was possible to see their Salad Bar, since we were not planning on having any meat cuts and were undecisive about whether we should dine there for lunch. Leonardo with his professional and outgoing demeanor walked us personally to the Salad Bar and gave us an introduction as to their delicious veggie items in the Salad Bar. The Salad Bar's fresh appearance and Leonardo's presentation of the Salad Bar were outstanding. So much so, that we decided to stay and have lunch. The waiters were amazing as well. Always at our table checking that we had everything we needed whether it was drinks or bread or anything else. Finally, as if Leonardo's great service was not enough, I had a new customer Promotional Coupon that had just recently expired and he honored it. This was an even bigger treat. We want to thank Leonardo for making our first time at Texas de Brazil a memorable one. We will most definitely return not only for the great service but for the great food, as well. What more can you ask for.

Gone downhill sadly

By mwooduk |

Before Covid this was a fantastic restaurant to eat at. It’s very expensive so your expectations are high, especially when it comes to service. We went two weeks ago and the service was very slow. We waited one hour for meat to be brought around on skewers, over half an hour for drinks and even then I was given the wrong Wine. They simply do not have enough staff, as the restaurant starts to accept more people for indoor dining, to cope with the number of people that are here. And it wasn’t even that crowded but there was a distinct lack of service. Salad bar was fantastic as always and my lobster bisque was excellent. Also if you like salt on your food, I suggest you bring your own as my husband had to ask five times to get salt brought to the table! I’m not sure we want to come back at this point unless they increase the number of staff dramatically.

Raw meat, bad meat

By SanchezandTio |

Went to Texas at Dadeland Mall, Miami since I go often to Dolphin Mall so I wanted a change. What disappointed experience. The meat was like a frozen meat with salt. It was basically a raw meat. There is a difference tween not well done and a meat taken out of the fridge and to the table. Very bad service, the Sala bar with no choices only bread, rice and beans. There others stuffs is like canned vegetable with a lot of grease. We paid a lot for a garbage food and I wanted to share with the rest of the world since they need to get better. My brother in law and Wife had a stomach pain and I imagined why. Texas de Brazil is not what you guys think so be prepare to pay a lot for not much to receive. Never again going to Dadeland again.

Great Family Dinner Event

By Edmund438 |

Our favorite place for steak in an enjoyable relaxed atmosphere with great food and great service. The lobster bisque is creamy and delicious. A favorite. Nice wide selection of various items on salad bar as well as hot items. Don't fill up there; the beef is where you want to be. Fine wine list. Manager and all staff are very welcoming and service oriented. Beef cut to your desire; I am medium rare and rare. Wife and daughter medium; we each were very satisfied with all food, beef and wine selection (Spanish Red). Always relaxing and enjoyable.

Great Thanksgiving Dinner

By Imagine |

We were a party of 22 for Thanksgiving Dinner.......My girlfriend and I got there early to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar.....Our bartender I think his name is Jordan made us feel welcome and comfortable....we told the bartender we felt hot and the manager I think His name was Julio instantly appeared and introduced himself apologized and blasted the air......he also made us feel welcome and comfortable.....I don't eat meat so, I did only the salad bar.....to call it a salad bar is an understatement.....there are wheels of fabulous cheese, salmon, shrimp, asparagus, hearts of palm, and lots of other great items....lobster bisk was great..........everyone was raving about the Lamb chops and filet mignon .....dinner included soda and dessert and coffee.....we will be back soon.....check it out ....You will not be disappointed 👍

Great Grilled Meats

By Esther I |

A large variety of salads, appetizers. This is an all you can eat restaurant with Many choices, well organized, good and attentive staff. Please note the Desserts are extra, which they neglect to advise and came as a surprise When presented with bill.

Just a well known name with a very expensive buffet.

By Maria M |

Dinner price $47.99 ( dessert, alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages are not included in price) Nice ambience and set up. Clean. Very good salad bar. Filet mignon and Lamb chops is what they offer and what the other "meat" restaurants do not. The service is just terrible. The waiters know they are going to get at least 15% tip therefore they do not pay attention to you. After the salad and soup, we have to wait over 15 minutes to get our dirty plates out of the table, after that twenty minutes to get clean ones, and the meat....you really have to insist for them to come to your table and they do it with the less expensive meats. Food is salty and loaded with pepper. Sangria pitch is $36, half glass of wine start at $9, a bottle of wine $36 and up, uncork your bottle $20. I went twice and I doubt I will return. For me is just a very expensive buffet. For $52 ($47.99 plus tax) I could get an excellent food and service at any other restaurant.

Always Greeeeeaaaat!!!

By vigilanteviajero |

As usual this place is really owesome. Great salad bar...to bad salad bars like in this restaurant cannot be found!!! Great servivce...the meat choices are great and the food in general is well prapared and nicely displayed. They do a great job. I have visited Texas de Brazil for years and they never stop surprising me in a very possitive manner. They are not cheap but the food is great.

Early 7pm dinner

By Ronald |

Service is excellent. Food is excellent but how much meat can someone eat. We did not eat for the day to make sure we had dinner. Filet Mignon with wrapped bacon concept should be adressed. Overall excellent dining.

Avoid at all cost! pure garbage

By CocoMiami |

This place is pure garbage, an insult to customers from all point of views. The food has no taste and is not cooked as they claim. There is no quality or effort in the elaboration of the meat or the other items in the salad bar. Just disgusting. The customer service is horrible. They take forever to pass by your table with the meat, you won't see variety at all. I counted 20 minutes until I saw the first meat passing by and the same guy and type of meat for another 25 minutes. the rice was hard and cold. Overall, the employees act like they don't want to be there. There is initiative or concern. The bathrooms are filthy, there is no hand sanitizer in the entire place. My family Christmas dinner ruined. I will make sure to report all these accordingly. Please save your money and avoid the aggravation.

Great food

By TED S |

Come hungry and relax... The steakes are great,, my wife was really happy With the salads.. An excellent place in Dadeland...

Very good!

By mwooduk |

Came for company Christmas lunch - been two years since I was last at a TDB and had forgotten how delicious it was! Salad bar was fantastic with salmon and great cheeses etc. Meat was outstanding for someone like me who likes meat medium rare but boss and his wife wanted meats more well done and they were hard to come by. Service was good although our server was not a smiley outgoing guy but still food was great and bottle of Pinot Grigio was delicious too! Brazilian cheese bread and sides of mash potatoes and plantains also came with the meal. Everything great!

New Years Eve - Great Decision

By Dalmar31 |

We decided to have New Years Eve dinner at Texas De Brazil in the Dadeland Mall location. We've dined at the Dolphin Mall and South Beach locations in the past, and this one was excellent as well. The food was delicious. I ordered a vodka martini, James Bond style ( shaken, not stirred) and it was delivered promptly and perfectly. We started with the salad bar. (Calling this a salad bar is an injustice.) It had everything. We took two round trips just to sample the items we were most interested in trying. It's amazing. Then we flipped the food card to GREEN and the fun really began. The servers started bringing the meat around and after several servings of filet mignon, lamb chops, sirloin, sausages, roast pork, we had to cry uncle and flip our cards over to the red side, indicating we were about to explode and to stop bringing around more meat. It was all delicious. It's a little pricey, for us anyway at $ 150 for 2 including drinks and tip, but a good value considering what you get.

Best All Around

By scoutdreams |

We had never been to a Texas de Brazil and were in the mall and decided to have lunch here. Wow, so glad we did. The food is top notch in qualify and quantity. The salad bar is extensive and exquisite We were not super hungry so opted for the meatless salad bar option. There was plenty there but seeing the meat go buy to other tables will entice us to return.

great Brazilian Restaurant

By CLEMEN V |

An excellent restaurant specialized in Brazilian Rodizio, a Brazilian style steakhouse. Salad bar is included and it has a great wide variety of dishes to enjoy.

Don't recommend

By Angel C |

Quality of the meats were poor and salad bar was mediocre. Fogo is much better choice. Fried bananas were hard and not sweet. Will not return.

I really like the food here. But you have to insist a bit to get served.

By MCM1962 |

I really like the food here. But you have to insist a bit to get served. Do go at lunchtime for a better deal. Service is really good, you just have to make sure that in the area where you are seated, they bring you all the choices. If you want well done, they will take care of you cheerfully, but you will have to wait a bit. Do visit the one in Dadeland. I had a really bad time at the one in MB. I visited 3 times in January.

I pay but I like quality.

By Lidia A |

I’m very disappointed. The salad bar looks so poor and the dishes were very salty. The rodízio of meats was ridiculous! They just offered chicken or sausage, you must have to ask them to bring the sirloin , skirt steak or filé-mignon ( tenderloin). Never more!

My New Favorite

By Jim M |

This place is amazing. They offer a huge selection of different meats and the food is cooked to perfection. The staff is so attentive and friendly. Definitely try this place out.

Solid four star steaks Picanha,

By Jose J |

Solid four star steaks Picanha, garlic steak, churrasco. Very good salad bar. The service is good. Its pricy for a rodizio. Nice wine list(too pricy) But its good and i will come back

Average

By roddmia |

Definitely, better than Dolphin Mall in MIAMI, but inferior to the Beach. Space and Gauchos are limited, but the ones available will serve you well. Nice and Cozy restaurant.

5-star service and food

By Debbie E |

Just finished an awesome lunch... I didn't think this would be my sort of place (tons of meat) but the salad bar has terrific salmon and shrimp and incredibly fresh veggies and grain salads. Best salad bar I've seen hands down. Some of the best and most professional service I've experienced anywhere! Attentive 5-star service from Richard and the rest of the crew. The meat repeated often, and servers offered to bring any meat we'd like. There were also selections brought according to your desired doneness. The meat was juicy and cooked to perfection, and not over seasoned or over salted. Everything was impeccably clean and elegant. The salad bar was attended to often and always looked as if we wee the first to arrive... If you are visiting Dadeland Mall, this is an excellent place to stop for a filling yet affordable lunch $27 for salad bar plus meat, all u can eat. There's a nice cocktail and wine list if you'd like to indulge, and I did!

Not a good value for lunch

By Oscar G |

Although lunch is less expensive than dinner, you get a limited amount of meat cuts. At the end we asked for cream of papaya dessert and they didn't have it, which is understandable; however, when we asked the manager why they didn't have it, he was too bored or busy to give an explanation and went back to his standing position by the bar.

Good food and great service

By Robert L |

Went to lunch there with my wife, my stepdaughter and my aunt. Last time I went I was not well but this time I was. Food was very good specially the lobster bisque. It was just right as were the meats served. My whole party was very satisfied with the food and the service was exquisite. Will definitely return.

Father's Day Dinner

By Sharon G |

I took my husband to dinner yesterday. I predicted a hectic situation because of the day but I was so wrong. The General Manager met us at the check in station with a smile and a "thank you" for coming. Wow, I was blown away. His name is Juli Castano and I thank Texas de Brazil for having him. Not only was he beyond pleasant but we watched him go from table to table to check on all guests. The food was terrific as it always is but the courtesy and professionalism shown by Mr. Castano to his guests now makes this restaurant my favorite.

Eaters Delight, Total Selections Galore

By ejay91 |

This restaurant offered a fabulous meal to Veterans this past Nov. 12th and gave me an incite into the wonderful selections of exquisite foods available at Texas de Brazil. The servers roaming throughout the dining area with varying selections of exquisite cuts of beef were fantastic. Each of these were hot and ready to devour. Truly well tasting and very appealing to the eye. The amount of food available for the price is well well above. The quality of the selections being served such as prime rib, filet mignon and others was superb. The waitress was outstanding and very attentive to our needs. We chose to have Sangria with our meal and it was very tasty. Only thing is that the pitcher is quite large so be ready to enjoy it. Fantastic place and we were able to be seated in less than 5 minutes following our arrival.

Week night family meal

By akeramarie |

First of all our waiter Anthony was awesome. He was very attentive and accommodating to our family that included three children. The house manger was also good. This was our first time at this location and it didn't disappoint. I felt the near selection was a little lacking but it may just be my memory from the last one I visited on Miami Beadh. Overall I enjoyed myself and the atmosphere was pleasant. Parking was good, seating was quick and all food was hot.

what is wrong with Texas de Brazil?

By edwinner25 |

I have been eating here many times. Yesterday, Was a terrible experience. Salad bar really poor and Gauchos only were offering "Churrasco, chicken and Picanha". I need to order lamb (otherwise no lamb for me), actually one rib per customer. terrible, price is the same and it seems business is bad and owner cutting corners,,,, so terrible. Right now, The Knife is more convenient, they included a bottle of wine per person, full salad bar (including meats: lengua), dessert and the price is cheaper.

I had a business lunch and the food was awesome . Plenty of meats to choose from at your table. The salad bar is also very big with tasty selections

Marriage Reception

By pompy51 |

Great time, good food, excellent service. Our group celebrated the wedding in espectacular fashion. The salad bar is more than sufficient, but the meat table service adds that "extra touch". Wait until they bring out the picanha and the filet mignon. Don't waste your time with other cuts of meat, pork or chicken. Get shrimp and salmon at the salad bar. Bob apetit!

best Texas de Brazil that we have been to

By joe_testa |

Great food and even better service. Maria was our server and she was one of the best servers we have ever had, very attentive and really cared about doing a great job. The Filet Mignon was great and the beef ribs were also very tender and tasty. The atmosphere was elegant. We will be back

Pretty darn good

By Cynthia G |

Yes I pigged out. The salad bar is excellent. Many fabulous items to choose from. The meats were awesome. Very tasty and tender. Couldn't pick a favorite. All beef items were my favorites. Service was great and friendly. The pace of delivery was good. The restaurant is comfortable and lively. Four stars is because a tad too much salt. I like salt but I thought more than a couple of the choices were just a bit salty.

Father's Day Place for Father's Who don't BBQ!

By Edmund438 |

My family knows I love TdB. Instead of cooking at home or receiving Gift Cards, they knew their gift to me was a family event at Texas de Brazil in Dadeland. We've been to other TdB restaurants, but Dadeland is the best. Our waiter was Alex and he was excellent. Our favorite waiter is Mycael who is best of the best. He greeted us and kept an eye on us to insure we were thoroughly satisfied. Alex did well for us. Their Lobster Bisque is awesome as well as their buffet line. The main Feature of course is their beef. The secret is to tell your waiter how you want your beef so the beef tender staff come to your table place with beef. An Awesome Father's Day event.

Lots of meat!

By Wagner V |

If you are a vegetarian, forget about this place...this is a meat lover's paradise! Hot meat cuts out of the grill is served on your table, with a wide variety of all-you-can-eat meats...yes, be prepared to eat! My suggestion is, go hungry and preferably for a late lunch on a day you did not have breakfast. The quality of the meat cuts offered is very good, including beef, chicken and pork. The salad bar has also a great variety of vegetables and other cold cut meats and appetizers, but better not to eat too much here and save room for the meats. This ia the Brazilian style of barbecue, served non-stop in what it is called "churrascarias" in Brazil. Pricy, but worth a visit!

The steaks were great

By Canesbiggdogg |

Great new addidtion to Dadeland mall. Went here for my sons high school graduation. My kids all love their steaks as I BBQ all the time. The gauchos coming around knew exactly what my kids liked and came right to them. I will suggest that you do lunch over dinner as it is $20 less and the only difference is the filet mignon is not offered at lunch.

Best Brazilian in Miami

By BoeingJetjock |

Having visited many Brazilian Restaurants (Churrascaria') in Rio and Sao Paulo, I set my standards pretty high and Texas de Brazil did not dissapoint. A great selection of meats and a fantastic salad bar ........ not forgetting to mention the caipirinha's ........ Yummy!
