Hello everyone...I tried Thai Seasons because: 1) It got good reviews from lots of other people, and 2) It is only about 5-10 minutes from where I live! I love Thai food, but am not expert on "authentic" Thai. I just like what I like, so, I can very safely say, "I LIKE THAI SEASONS." The place is VERY neat and clean, not large, but comfy; little to no extra noise, so you can have a good convo with your "eatmates." The service was VERY attentive and kind, done by nice young people, who seemed always to provide "service with a smile," and were ready to bring "extra" this or that quickly and efficiently. The food was also very good (IMO), and the portions were BIG! I took home HALF of my dinner portion and had it the next night. The prices are moderate, and perhaps a tad higher than elsewhere, but the overall experience at Thai seasons made it seem worth it (Remember..I got TWO meals out of my order!). So...two of us, with 2 appetizers,2 dinner entrees, beer and dessert came to something just over $60. That's fair for good food, served politely, and in a sparkly clean environment. I'll go back again, and VERY much recommend TS. Why only 4 stars? Well, as I said, I am no expert, and I would only give 5 stars if it was OFF the chart great or different. Nonetheless, as I said...GO and enjoy an very nice Thai meal at TS!

I had the pumpkin curry, and it was the best pumpkin curry I've ever had. Pumpkin curry is one of my favorites, but this was exceptional! Salad rolls were fresh and delicious as well.

Great food, great service, local ingredients, and reasonable prices. You can't go wrong here. We had an amazing dinner!

We met friends here and ordered the ginger delight, laap gai and curry, all medium spicy. The ginger was smokin hot! The salad had nice hints of lime and mint, while the curry was mild with good flavor. The service, on the other hand was marginal.

Went here on word of mouth. We were not disappointed. We found the stir fry and the noodles were very good. This is a nice find and our new go to place for Thai food. The service was excellent with the servers being very attentive to all our needs.

This is a relaxing casual restaurant with very fresh sweet vegetables. We enjoyed our lunch of wontons, chicken with wide noodles, and chicken with rice. They do not offer thai ice coffee or sweet and sour chicken which I was hoping for but it was a great lunch. Note...no 7.95 lunch specials on the weekend.

The service here was so good. We were four and wanted separate checks, no problem. Food arrived in good time. Friends had noodle dishes and felt that they were very good. I had BAH MII YOK TOM YUM HANG soup with shrimp. Loved the delicate spicy soup made with coconut. Modest dining room.

Love, love love the pad thai and fried rice here. My husband who usually refuses to eat at Thai restaurants even really likes their fried rice. "It's so fresh and flavorful - not super oily"! High praise indeed. It's my favorite go to place when I'm tired but want a delicious dinner I don't have to fix myself! We actually have never eaten in - but the staff who ring us out are always very friendly.

The food is very high quality, the staff friendly and the whole experience a big thumbs up. We ordered take out while visiting some friends in Portland. While we were waiting a cook came out of the kitchen with two cups of ice water for us and offered us a seat. Who does that? Incredible. We appreciated the server accommodating our requests for gluten free and garlic free. When we return I'm really looking forward to eating here.

This place is great. Really good easy fresh food, and very well put together dishes. Took my daughter to there today and had the spicy beef salad and the a chicken stir fry.....wow it was great. There are so many Thai places here but this onestands out and is worth checking out!!

We flew into Portland around midday and were looking for gluten-free options within 15 minutes of the airport. Google Maps listed Thai Seasons and showed a 4+ star rating. It is a small restaurant but not at all cramped. We enjoy the coconut chicken soup (large bowls only but you may ask to split), fried wontons stuffed with ground chicken and spices (very similar to crab rangoon), eggplant with chicken (sweet and satisfying) and a spicy ground chicken dish with peppers and onions. Everything was tasty and seemed to be made from quality ingredients. Our server was very gracious. All in all it was a cheerful and satisfying lunch on a cold, rainy day and a welcoming stop straight from the airport.

Overcooked, toothy beef and chicken (dry city), with an eggplant dish that had some barely cooked hard eggplant in it, and gummy sauce. This place is rocketing downward in my opinion. I've been there many times, but we are done with them after tonight. Ugh. Disgusting.

One of my family's go to Thai restaurants. They have a great ambiance and food is good as well as friendly and accommodating staff. They give you great portion sizes and I like that they have free-ranged chicken. The decor and set up gives a really Portland relax feel, it is quite spacious. Their Thai iced tea is really delicious. I would recommend this Thai Seasons to anybody. And if you like spice, they can really bring the heat.

Restaurant was small, and clean. Fresh vegetables, tasty meats, prepared in "Thai" style. Servers were attentive, food took 15 minutes to prepare. Price was average for Portland - we paid $23 for two main courses. Air conditioning was slightly cool. We would return.

We've done take out and dine in. Great service. I think I've tried everything in the menu. All is outstanding!

You don't have to fly all the way to Thailand, run don't walk to this Thai restaurant. The owner, Non, (pronounced noon) is conscientious, hard working and a fabulous chef. The dishes are colorful, made only with the freshest ingredients, no MSG and are, without a doubt, a labor of love. On the menu, a robust list of noodle dishes, curries, stir fries, and steamed masterpieces. Indicate mild or spicy per your preference. Also, they serve green papaya salad. Think of cole slaw on steroids. So don't expect ripe papaya in your salad. Also, Non, the owner says she loves beets. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

This place is very unassuming, on NE Sandy. Inside, it's a very warm and comfortable space, but not particularly well-decorated or trendy. And then you order a basil cocktail and a few recommended dishes from the menu and ..... POW!!!.... you have discovered one of the most amazing Thai restaurants you've ever tasted in your life. The service is efficient and friendly, they always have seasonal specials, and they have a great cocktail menu. Seriously, give it a try on a windy, rainy Portland evening and it will warm your heart. (It's also great for takeout if you want to eat in!)

Everything we ordered was so flavorful, and it was good to know about the eco practices of the business. The ambience was relaxing, and the service was very attentive.

This is a great spot for lunch or dinner when you want tasty Thai, served quickly and in generous proportions. We went for lunch when our daughter was home for Christmas break from college with her friend and her family. Food was delicious, service was prompt, and portions we’re generous!

Wow. The herbal salad - Yum Sa Moon Phrai - is amazing. I would go back just for this. Variety of greens and herbs, nuts, coconut (even enjoyed by those in our group that don't usually like coconut).Greater than the sum of its parts. The menu identifies some dishes by region. We don't consider ourselves Thai amateurs (have been to Thailand and other Asian countries) yet there were several menu items new to us. Even the beverages were different than typical offerings - Thai iced tea options include with fresh lime juice or tamarind juice. In addition to the salad we had the pumpkin tempura, a dry (?) noodle dish and eggplant stir-fry, one of the daily specials. Looking forward to returning!

We love Thai Seasons. The food is locally sourced, organic and very tasty. The staff is wonderful and truly make everyone feel welcome. There are too many great dishes to list them. The cocktails are terriific -- the Thai-garita is a must have!

We have been patronizing Thai Seasons since they opened, and have always enjoyed the fresh and organic food. During our last visit for dinner we noticed a marked deterioration of service, waiting for twenty minutes (with children) with no service before we left as the outlook for satisfactory service was bleak. During the wait we noticed numerous take out orders which seemed to consume the staff's time, to the detriment of service to the in-house patrons. This may have been an anomoly as the restaurant was quite full, however on our the prior visit, again for dinner, the same situation occurred. The staff was either on the phone for lengthy periods (presumably taking orders for take out) or packaging and processing take out orders. Given the quality and desireability of the food, it is sad to witness the degradation of service timeliness. I hope Thai Seasons sharpens up and recognizes that the in-house guests deserve the same level of service as the take-out patrons. We will continue to patronize Thai Seasons, but only if the restaurant isn't crowded, and we can expect to te served in a timely manner.

Thai Seasons is a few blocks from our home as are many other Thai restaurants. However, Thai Seasons is our choice for excellent locally sourced and organic Thai food. The portions are very generous. Prices are reasonable. The service is great. The food is delicious. Highly recommend.

We were very tired and hungry after a hot day on the river - my daughter was STARVING so we stopped along Sandy and just RANDOMLY stumbled into this little place. Our server quickly greeted us and brought us water in tradition pewter cups - nice touch. We ordered three items to share family style and spring rolls as an appetizer. It seemed like the spring rolls were there within seconds. Delicious. My wife and daughter went crazy for the peanut sauce. They actually licked the bowl clean. (Just kidding). Then the entrees arrived within just a few minutes and all three (fried rice with 12 HUGE shrimp, Pad Thai, and a vegetable stir fry with chicken) were fantastic. We will make a point to drive back across town to go to this place. Highly recommended.

All good things here. Food was seasonal and local as much as possible. Very fresh appearance, aroma and taste. Not over spiced like so many other Thai spots. My wife freaked over the pad Thai. Said it was the best she ever had. Lunch specials are good portions and only $7.95/person. The fried tofu was fantastic too. Very veggie friendly spot.

Great service and food. Beef salad was crips spicy and very tasty. Nice people work here and the place is very clean with nice atmosphere.

My friend and I came here for lunch yesterday from our workplace nearby after reading the fairly good reviews on line, and it was QUITE good! I had the Massaman Curry with chicken and the Pad Thai with chicken and both were very good. My friend had the pineapple curry and she said she also liked her entree. I took home enough for another meal for my husband and I as the portions were plentiful and the prices were good. The young man who served us was friendly and helpful, and really did a good job as both the host and the server.

Awesome. Just go. Inexpensive mom and pop. Really, really good. Hole in the the wall, beer drinks wine.

We recently met friends from out of town here for dinner on a Monday evening. The dining area was bright but warm, and very clean. It wasn't crowded, but it was a Monday, and several people came in for take out while we were there. Also, it was a nice quiet atmosphere for visiting, and prices were quite reasonable. We ordered several dishes: pad prik king with chicken, phad eggplant, massaman curry with chicken, and pra ram with chicken. The entrees came out relatively quickly, servings were large, and the ingredients were all fresh and well prepared. We would all definitely go back and we highly recommend Thai Seasons to everyone!

The food portions very kind of small, but the flavor of the food was the best Thai food I have ever had. I would definitely return again. The restaurant was small and only had a few tables. As we were sitting there about 6 patrons came to pick up food to go. So it must be popular with the locals.

Today was my first visit to Thai Seasons, and I will definitely be back. A tidy restaurant on NE Sandy Blvd. that serves organic, local (when possible), authentic Thai food. The salad rolls were incredible...fresh, and stuffed with goodies, served with two yummy sauces. They cost a bit more at 5.95, but they were well worth it both in size and flavor. For my main dish I tried their Pad Thai. Yum...again, quality food, full of flavor (but not to sweet) with a generous portion of chicken. My new go-to place for Thai in NE Portland for sure. Great service as well!

I almost don't want to write this review because I am afraid that this smallish restaurant will get crazy busy and we will never be able to get in. That's how good, fresh, tasty and appealing the food is. Always have great, attentive service. Organic and delicious. We love the chicken Larb (they call it lab or something like that), pad Thai, Tom yum soup, om kha soup, curries.... Most anything. Everyone we bring here loves it and returns. Not expensive.

Working in retail, I often meet customers who want restaurant suggestions. Thai Seasons may not be truly authentic Thai (I kinda doubt that exists in Portland), but it is by far the best I've tried. My husband who refuses generally to eat Thai (had some bad experiences) will eat here. He really likes the fried rice. It's fresh tasting, and not greasy. My daughter loves the chicken Pad Thai, and I try to not order the same thing each time. Their curry is really good. I especially like the one with pumpkin. The restaurant is cleaner than most Thai restaurants, and the service is good. Honestly, I do take out more than eat in here. It's close to home, and has become comfort food when work is in peak hectic mode.

I was given a gift certificate with a 1 year expiration. I came in three weeks after and asked if it could be extended . The owner said “NO”

We were traveling in Portland and stopped here for dinner. Food was fresh and delicious. I love that they have a mission statement that includes locally sourced foods, local meats, etc, sustainable practices, and natural ingredients. Lots of gluten free options, our server was very friendly and attentive. If I lived here, this would definitely be a go to favorite!

Perhaps it's because I like cooking and can follow a recipe that I found the lunch meal here not worth what I paid for it, which was about $8 plus 20% tip. My wife said the same of her meal. The spices in the sauce were interesting, but the veges were mostly potato and onion and not what we'd expected given our order. The rice was okay but kind of dry. Maybe there are some more interesting bits on the menu, as other reviewers seem to think, but I'm going elsewhere next time. I could do as well with some spices and interesting veges from the local Asian grocery store.

Thai Seasons offers a very pleasant, casual dining experience. The dining room is airy and open and the staff is friendly and informative. The entrees we ordered varied from decent, to good, to excellent. One noodle dish was somewhat uninspired - rather limp noodles with too little flavor. A tofu stir fried dish was considerably better with solid Thai flavorings. Best of all was the deep fried whole trout smothered in Asian greens and deep in Thai spices and aromas. The restaurant offers a good selection of beers at reasonable prices.

Thai Seasons uses locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, and you can tell. The dishes are uniformly good, flavorful and fresh. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The menu has a large range of dishes, and most can be made vegetarian. Some of the best Thai food in town!

I tried Thai Seasons after searching for a Thai restaurant on Trip Advisor by where I was going to be staying. When I went to find it, it could have easily be missed from the street. The decor was simple but well done and the service was super friendly. They are dedicated to fresh ingredients to include the origins of the meat that they use and this shows in the flavor of the food. The flavors were outstanding in every dish that we had. While we were there many people came in to pick up take out so that is an option. TIPS: There is parking out back so you can get off of Sandy Blvd and park. Other reviews say the pumpkin curry is great, and it is! The Tom Yum soup was really good as well.

I took a friend here for her birthday and both of us enjoyed our choices which were Pineapple Curry with chicken, Massaman Curry with chicken, and the appetizers, chicken satay and "Miang Kum" (shrimp and coconut, peanuts, etc wrapped in leaves). Everything tasted very good and our only complaint would be about the serving time, not the food at all. It took well over 35 minutes to get our appetizers which seemed extremely long since the large group near us had already been served, and we saw a take-out order given within 10 minutes to a walk-in couple. We also commented on two people seated near us who got their food also within 15 minutes while we had waited for so long. Our young man who served us was very good. No problems there.

Walking into this establishment for lunch feels like slipping on your favorite shoes. Comfortable and wonderful. The menu is comprehensive and the vegetables are very crunchy in the stir fry plates. You can't go wrong here when there so many Thai restaurants in Portland to choose from.

Pleasant decor and service but prices of entrees for 4 lunch items was more costly than most Thai restaurants I have experienced.Especially when considering the unpretentious Sandy blvd. location. A fellow diner had a coconut milk based soup which she enjoyed but at 13.00 it seemed expensive. The salad roll appetizers which preceded our lunch choices was our favorite menu selection. Overall food quality was ok but the prices appear unwarranted.

Not a lot of food with leaf rolls. Though tasty. The Tom Kau tasted like sugar had been added. The green tea was weak and cost $3.95. We will not be back.

Our son and daughter in law brought us to this restaurant in Portland. We have eaten Thai all over the country and in London. This is by far the best we've eaten. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. According to their mission statement as much of the ingredients as possible are from local sources. I had the deep fried whole trout; it was delicious. We can't wait to come back and eat there again.
Fresh, Organic, Close to PDX
We love this area of Portland, super close to the airport and easy to. The menu items are diverse with plenty of options of proteins. The place was very clean and had very cool water cups and tea pots/cups. Super fast and just really GOOD, FRESH food!
