My two sons brought me here for our Father's Day dinner. Really terrific place. Nice atmosphere, great selection of local/craft beers on tap. Food was well prepared, delicious! Had the classic burger. Staff members were very attentive during our dinner, always right on top for any questions/refills etc. I'll be back,

A block away from the crowds on N Highland in Inman Park, The Albert has a terse but well diversified menu, a small slice of draught beers and bartenders who know their mixes. The price point is well below the close by Inman Park haunts, but the quality is there. Try the 6th best burger in Atlanta, unfussy and delicious. Nice service. Attractively funky room.

I have gone here while visiting colleges with my daughter upon recommendation from an air B&B. We found it easy enough and were seated right away. I read some of the reviews about how the place looked and to be honest it look like a bar that the hometown people would go to. I didn't look so close to notice if it was Immaculate or not but where we were seated was fine and everyone there seem to be having a really good time. I had spent the past two days eating out at restaurants and not eating the healthiest of foods so I was thrilled when I saw they had a kale salad on the menu period while I'm not a huge fan of kale but know how good it is for me this was really delicious. My daughter got a salad as well and was very happy with it. Staff was wonderful and accommodating and I found no fault with this place except that it was freezing. And I say that with a grain of salt I always run cold.

We first visited this place because of the smoked wings, which were good. My wife and I are now regulars, especially with the Creative Loafing Deals app that gives you half off. We come on Sundays to watch the NFL games (they have all the games up and are labeled so if you get there early, you know where to sit). They also have plenty of beers on tap and make some great drinks behind the bar. The menu has been switched up a little bit and when they offer the brunch menu, it's the best. I would recommend if you're visiting Atlanta you try to hit it up while you're here and checking out Inman Park and the Beltline.

Great service and great people. My server, Kaitlyn, was attentive and professional. The guys are worth the stop. Why this post has to be more than 100 characters is beyond me.

Three of us were there on Saturday afternoon. I ordered a house salad with smoked chicken. The smoked chicken was absolutely amazing, and the salad was delicious. The service was terrible. I had ordered both the citrus and the balsamic vinaigrette on the side to try them both. They only brought the citrus. I couldn't find our waiter for a long time, and was halfway through my salad before I could find him to ask for the other dressing that should have come out in the beginning. Water glasses were not refilled often enough due to the absentee waiter. A little bit into our meal, the television volume was turned up so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk across the table. Not being able to find our waiter, I walked over to the bartender and asked if it could be turned down. She didn't answer me, but walked away. The volume was turned down for about five minutes then turned back up. I asked the waiter if anything could be done about the television volume. He said no, and walked away with no explanation. Despite the good food, the service and the volume of the television would make me never return.

Watiers and their team are wonderful, polite, and excellent at what they do! They really know how to work in a crowd; in fact, I come here so frequently that it's embarrassing!! Neighborhood-friendly! Make sure to try the chicken sandwich, which is particularly delicious when grilled! The pork BBQ is delicious, especially with the kale salad (one of the best salads I've ever had!) The chicken tenders and burgers are great, and the patty melt is a must-order.

One of our stops in a walking history/ food tour. Wings were excellent! Crispy on the outside with tasty sauces. House Moscow Mule was fabulous.

The Albert is my go to spot for drinks and food! It's a charming neighborhood bar with a good drink menu and excellent food choices. They smoke their own meats right on the premises. So many delicious choices from smoked chicken salad, pulled pork, hot dogs with various fixin', hamburgers, etc. and my favorite - wings. I absolutely love the sides too of roasted brussel sprouts, bacon cream corn and collard greens to name a few. They have weekly food specials as well as fun activities such as Drunk Bingo and Trivia Night. Perfect spot for getting together with friends or date night. Enjoy!

My wife and I went to the Albert for a Scoutmob Gin tasting deal. We'd never been an thought it would be cool to check out the new place and of course enjoy some gin. The gin tasting was terrific as the staff was very knowledgeable having obviously done their homework for the event. The Albert is small (in a good way) with a nice staff and tasty food. We stayed after to get more food and enjoy another cocktail.

We go to the Albert often for dinner or weekend brunch. While there are many restaurants around the Highland Park corridor, the Albert is comfortable, unpretentious with great food at reasonable prices. We go for the food, but the bar is active and seems friendly. To eat, you can seat yourself either in a booth in the barroom or at a table in the adjacent diining room. Saturday dinner (? Fridays) and weekend lunches are packed, so be prepared to wait 15-25 minutes. There are no reservations. The menu is not huge, but everything is good. They have burgers, salads, bar-type appys, but my favorite are their barbecue items, ribs and wings. They are nicely smoked with sauce on the side. Their own BBQ sauce is tangy and fresh with a little bite. They have good fries, but also have about ten sides to choose from, including collards, slaw and my favorite-- the Brussel sprouts. Not your mama's steamed, the are roasted or sautéed ( my wife and I have a bet on this) with pancetta and mixed with a little feta. Omg delish! Burgers come with one side, ribs with two. Entrees run $11-13, so for under $30 for a big meal for two, very worth it. Brunch is good too. For a big man meal, try the pountine- huge mound of fries topped with lots of goodies. Awesome!

For some reason we always end up here after 11. It is a great bar to hang out in with friends. The large booths make it great for a big group I love the Queso and wings!!

One of the stops on our food tour and now I know why! We had the smoked wings... I am not normally a fan of wings, won't order them and usually skip over them but oh my goodness, I would order these again and again!

I really like the fact that The Albert feels so comfortable. It has the feel of the old Jagger's Restaurant across from Emory. That's what makes me want to return more so than the food. The food is also good. I tried the brisket sandwich (no bread). It tasted like a well-cooked pot roast instead of brisket, though. The collards are spicy and flavorful with the addition of chunks of pork as opposed to bacon. My husband enjoyed his burger. I would definitely return and would try something made with pork. The pork in the collards was the best part of the meal.

Great place to watch the game. Good beer selection and great servers and bartenders. The only thing is the menu. Theres maybe one thing to eat if you don't eat meat.

The bar area smelled like beer had been hired all over the floor and left to go bad, and the restaurant/kitchen side of the establishment looked like it had a light coating of frying oil on every surface. If it weren't for the fact I was meeting someone, I would have left immediately. There wait staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the food was perfectly fine, but I'm pretty sure I'll not be going back in.

What a fun and different place to go in Atlanta! Tucked in the heart of Inman Park, this bar and grill has a decidedly neighborhood feel from the moment you walk in the door. The exposed brick walls and gas wall lanterns lend a warm, moody feel to the place. The bartenders are a little "gritty" which adds to the charm. If you go on Sunday night, realize they do a "Walking Dead" party starting at 9pm - the lights go down, all TVs starting playing the Walking Dead and there is NO talking allowed!! They are quite serious about it! I loved it for my first time!

Was our last sit down stop and an Inman Park neighborhood and food tour. Had the amazing wings with their homemade bbq sauce along with some boiled peanuts. Drinks were delicious as well!

My co-workers and I love going to The Albert for lunch fairly frequently. The Smoked Chicken Club, with a side of bacon creamed corn cannot be beat. When you pull into the lot and see and smell the smoke from the huge outdoor smoker, you realize that you have wandered into a carnivores paradise!

My boyfriend and I live two blocks from here and it is our go to restaurant when we don't know where to eat. They just don't make anything that isn't good. And the food is a very reasonable price for the quality. Their brunch is wonderful, and for a special treat try their smoked wings.

We had heard "The Albert" had great smoked wings and we weren't disappointed! The wings were excellent! Meaty, moist and tender! We have eaten wings in other local restaurants, but these were the best! Our server was attentive and the atmosphere was perfect for adults and children. Parking was a little scarce, but we found a nearby parking deck with reasonable rates. We will be back.

We went on a Wednesday night, sat at the bar and had delicious burgers while we played trivia. Good fun with great service from the bartenders and lots of nice people on each side of us at the bar. Everything was fresh and delicious and I will definitely go back again. Nice neighborhood place, not too big but fun ams comfortable Go and let yourself indulge in a super yummy burger !!

We spent the afternoon doing a low key birthday pub crawl through The Beltline and ended up at The Albert as our final destination of the night. I ordered an Angry Orchard and a pimento cheese burger and fries. It was delicious and the environment was low key for a Saturday night. It is definitely more of a bar scene rather than family friendly. I would come back to grab another burger if I'm back in Atlanta for another visit.

Great burgers here. I had the mushroom swiss that was very good. We also had the smoked wings for an appetizer and they were great as well. Our waitress was very helpful as well, helping us with a hot bowl of water to warm our son's bottle.

I needed a ride back to my hotel but nobody could figure out what to do since I don't have an uber or lyft app. Figure it out!!!

First of all, it's a great place all around with a menu that has a great selection of food, and my fav, great craft beer! I am a wing guy, and had to try the Smoked Wings. They are the absolute best wings I have ever had, and will be back the next time I am in town

It was time for a ladies nite out. Two requests came from our group, (1) let's try someplace we have NOT been before and (2) one of us was craving a great HAMBURGER. Well, after doing some google searching, someone suggested "The Albert". A quick look at the menu and we were convinced to give it a try! It was a saturday around 6:00. We got the last parking space in the lot behind the restaurant, We are a group of "older" women equipped with an assortment of canes, walkers and walking sticks. There were two steps at the rear entrance that took a bit of effort but a wonderful patron saw us struggling and offered his arm. (the front entrance is street level). We loved the selection of cocktails and ordered several drinks, beer and iced tea. Our waiter was amazing! All during the evening he was attentive and always saw to our needs and wants. Was knowledgeable about the menu items and was able to answer questions and make suggestions. We started with 3 appetizers: Pretzel with cheese sauce (wonderful), Beet Salad (L0vely salad, would order again BUT the menu indicated that it came with both red and golden beets, ours had only red beets) and the loaded BBQ nachos (fantastic, but we had it wit the smoked chicken, next time we will get the pulled pork). Next we ordered entrees. We sampled several burgers including the patty melt. We also ordered the chicken fingers-----which were so good. They arrived HOT, steamy and JUICY. THe french fries were also great, hot, fresh, crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Several side items were tried in addition to the fries. We had the mac and cheese (good) , creamed bacon corn (very yummy with a nice spicy bite) and the green beans (well seasoned but could have used an addl minute of cooking....just a tad too dente....but FRESH) IT was a highly successful night. And did I mention our wait person was TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!! He was and we left a generous to show our appreciation. We'll be back.

Tonight I ate some of the BEST BBQ in Atlanta. No only were the Ribs out of sight the Cream Corn is a MUST TRY, Roast Brussel Sprouts with Blu Cheese AMAZING! The service OUTSTANDING! Great value and a must stop for BBQ if your in the area.

Stop in and enjoy a cocktail. The atmosphere is good, the neighborhood and shopping are quite enjoyable.

Wednesday night, dinner and trivia. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, food was quite good, drinks were excellent.

We've been here a half dozen or so times and always hit it up when in the area. The smoked wings are special as is the soft pretzel. The other food like burgers, etc.. are very good well. Big TV's for the game, too.

A proper boozer for chat, sports and decent beer, a rarity in the USA. Staff were really freindly and the snacks great. EPL on TV, iys a great way to spend saturday morning!

This is a cool neighborhood pub. The wait staff are really nice and efficient. I love to go there for a beer and a burger. Prices are very reasonable. It's a hip place. Very casual.

Stopped for drinks and dinner at The Albert with some family members. There is a large selection of beverage options. We started off with our select beers and an appetizer of deviled eggs. They were unique and excellent. For dinner, Three of us had the pork BBQ sandwich with a side of Cole slaw. Wow, was it great!! Definitely had a little kick and it was super tender. One person had a rack of ribs with baked beans and slaw. He had a little sweat trickling down his neck from the spice but he said it as awesome. There was plenty of food so we were very full. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The place itself was hopping with patrons watching football on the many screens around. We loved the ambiance in general and can't wait to go back

The smoked wings are as good as you will find in the city. The burgers are great as well. Beer prices are solid for the area.

This small and cozy place in Inman Park attracts a lot of young people and older folks who near nearby. Everybody gets along. There's two TVs. They have a good selection of wine that changes often. Beer and liquor too. I like the pulled pork.

We came for brunch, and I got one of my staples, eggs benedict. I was excited because they have two unique renditions, one with pulled pork that I think they roast out back, and the other I can't remember. My pulled pork seemed a bit overcooked, or I got the really crispy outer parts of the roast. My eggs seemed small as well. The grits, however, were good. Other menu offerings include a generic breakfast, a kale goat cheese and cranberry salad that used to be available in a wrap and still will be on request. A mimosa runs for $6. I'd return for the drinking atmosphere or maybe to try the lunch or dinner offerings

It was a wings and beer night. Ball games on the TV, lively crowd at the bar. Excellent atmosphere. Freddy Mercury serving food...

I am local to Atlanta. I picked The Albert for lunch with a friend. The decor and furnishings are very nice, upscale for a small bar. Food was okay, but not great. It was very pricey for portion. Usually, a $17 sandwich is big enough I have a leftover. Not here. Also, for that dollar amount, usually fries are included.

My husband and I had eaten a late lunch and had gone to a comedy show. When the show was done and we made it back to the area it was already midnight. A few other places we tried either didn't have food, were packed with a bunch of drunk 20 year olds, or were about to close. We weren't sure if we'd find anything open, but thankfully The Albert popped up. The place was pretty busy for midnight, but we were able to find two seats at the bar. The bartender was quick and friendly. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was a block away from a very popular outside area that was not appealing to us. This place hit the spot!

This review is just for the food--I've eaten here at least once a week for several years now as a local who works in the area. The food is so much better than your average bar food--definitely try the Diner Burger, a big double-stack of juicy, melt in your mouth meaty goodness. Also, the brisket melt is a winner too (think: pot roast on a bun). For healthy eaters, they have a nice kale salad with smoked chicken. They used to have a blackened chicken caesar wrap that was the bomb but they took it off the menu--they need to bring that back, hint hint...anyway, try the Diner Burger and you'll be hooked. Everyone I take by there gets addicted to it. Meals are about $10/plate.

Visited last night to watch sports and have a beer. They have a nice beer selection, but best of all, the food is always great. They are not a BBQ joint, but their Q is always good. I had a brisket melt and onion rings. Both were on the mark.

Love this place. Old style saloon with two sides. On side open kitchen and dining, other side bar, fun place with a great selection. Tip - order the chicken wings and skip all the sauces except for one BBQ; eat the soft peanuts...not the shells; drinks are made fresh with local vodka. You can go wrong here...prices are great and be sure you catch the mini box artwork to the right, when you exit.

I am so so with the place, nothing so speacial about the resturant but one good thing I think the pice is very cheap comparing yo what you get

The bar was well stocked, the menu offered many selections, the service was responsive and professional. The server recommended a good local brew.
Comfortable place with a great menu
I've been here several times by myself to work online (and eat...and drink) and other times for dinner or drinks with friends and every time it's great. sometimes they get pretty busy but the appetizers always come out fast and the food (GET THE DINER BURGER) is always worth it. My beer drinking friends love the selection and I can always find a glass of wine that I like. They also have a lot of TV's, a smoker for smoked wings and serve a mean brunch. Tip: there are only 2 bathrooms, so don't wait til the last minute when they're busy!!!
