We live in Atlanta area and love trying hidden gems and this is definitely a hidden gem. Perfect for friends or an intimate date night the food was delicious with unexpected flavors that left us ordering more that our stomachs could handle. The drinks were also very good pairing very well with the large servings. The staff and the chefs were some of the best part of our visit making us feel right at home even in the ultra chic Instagramable atmosphere. Definitely will visit again.

We were here for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was OK, but we had to wait a long time for the first coffee. I would have expected a bagel with cream cheese to come with jam, but you would have had to buy that separately. The service at dinner was even worse. Slow and unmotivated. That evening a jazz band was playing live, which was far too loud for a cozy dinner. It took a while for the cocktails to arrive. First my husband's, mine about 15 minutes later, a Coke another 10 minutes later. The menu is small, the food and drinks expensive. So far OK, but then everything has to be right. Starters were normal and good. My husband's meal then arrived (duck). Mine didn't (pork chop), as did an ordered side dish that we wanted to eat together. I asked and yes, my meal would arrive soon. When my husband was almost finished, the side dish arrived. The kitchen was working on mine. I was offered a second starter, but I declined. About 20 minutes after my husband had finished eating, I cancelled my order and asked for the bill. Then my food finally arrived. The sauce was good, but the meat was otherwise not seasoned. The guy from the service was wandering around the restaurant, unmotivated, with his hands in his pockets. That's not acceptable for a restaurant like this. At least the manager, who also apologized, came to meet us with the bill. The evening was a disaster for us. I can't recommend the restaurant.

First time to dine here and it was excellent. Service was first class (Eddie) and the wine was outstanding. Lovely pastries for dessert and outstanding main courses, which we all shared. The soup was too salty but otherwise, this is a first class place to dine with excellent atmosphere and attentive staff.

Every dish we had was outstanding. Delicious with unexpected flavors blended creatively and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, professional and knowledgeable. The ambiance was of understated elegance . Would definitely eat there again.

For a hotel dinning option, it was one of the better that I have been to. We sat up at the bar for our meal and had a good conversation with our bartender. I had ordered the burger which is a smash burger style with two patties. The burger sauce they used was pretty good and the French fries were very crunchy. The burgers were cooked well and juicy. Overall it isn't a bad spot if you want to stay in for the night, though it is on the pricey side, but that is to expect when eating at a hotel.

The decor was modern with an old world feel, elegant, and fun. The staff was very attentive and personable. The food was FANASTIC. I wish we could have tried all of the things, lol. My husband and I split the Japanese inspired starter, the pork belly appetizer, the short ribs, the cauliflower, the crispy potatoes, and the lemon brulee dessert. Everything was delicious. Oddly, the short ribs were my least favorite although they were still good. For me, the fat was too chewy. My favorites were the pork belly and the cauliflower. I also tried the Honey Don't mixed drink, and it was refreshing and tasty. I highly recommend this place for a date night.

We were here twice, once for breakfast and once for drinks at the bar in the evening. Service both times were excellent. We had the three egg omelette for breakfast. Fluffy and tasty. The drinks at the bar were excellent also. Since we stayed at the Kimpton this was convenient (nearest restaurant since it is downstairs!). Enjoyed it a lot! Will be back if we stayed at the Kimpton and even if not.

Absolutely top tier. From the moment you walk in, Dawson our server was amazing. T he service is flawless, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is nothing short of outstanding. Every dish is crafted to perfection with incredible flavor and presentation. Easily one of the best dining experiences around highly recommended.

The tuna crudo and asparagus were terrific - both sauces were outstanding. But the beef tartare was in a very strange sauce that made the meat gummy, and the grilled wedge was soggy and strange. The food is pricey, so it would be great if it were more consistent. Love the room and that bar -- they did a great job in interior design. Restaurant is seriously understaffed, we waited 50 minutes for food one night, similar experience at breakfast two days and again with dinner another night. Potential there, but needs to sort itself out.

Exceptional food and service in a beautiful, romantic setting. The gnocchi with chicken ragu was the best thing I've eaten in a long time. Great option for a special or romantic occassion.

Very lovely restaurant for a romantic dinner. I was with my teenage son and unfortunately not there for a romantic dinner. We were guests of the hotel and were tired and hungry and this was our only choice. Even though we were dressed nicely, since we obviously were not on a date they seated us at the bar. This was fine for us but may have offended other guests. With that said, my son ordered the chicken and loved it so much he ordered another (very EXPENSIVE non-date). Not the place to take a hungry teenager, but great place for a date. Fantastic decor, delicious, albeit small portions, food, and hospitable service.

I have been coming to the Betty for over a year now and the reason i keep coming back is because the exceptional service i receive from Victoria. She works all 3 bars. If i have guests in town i always bring them to see Victoria. I know she will make our time

Dawson is my hero! He could have not been more kind as a bartender. Plus, he poured a fantastic drink. I was clearly working out some professional issues over a cocktail on Sunday night and he very empathetically listened, gave me an extra bottle of soda water, and just was all around fantastic. If you want a great vibe and a lovely human interaction, go to the bar at The Betty!

This is NOT your typical hotel restaurant. Food was great, prices were reasonable, but if you want t Tomahawk steak you can get one, the atmosphere is chic and romantic, and the service (Dee) is really good. Chef came out and talked to us, which was such a nice touch. Lots of variety on the menu. Shrimp appetizer with a salad is enough for a meal. Love the daily dinner specials. I had surf and turf with a glass of wine for $45 dollars. Desserts are excellent too. Cannot say enough good things about the Betty. Valet Parking is $10.

My spouse and I had a fantastic first, (second, and third!) experience with this restaurant. The evening dinner service was classy and well presented by our server, Collin. We chose the Cornish Chicken dish, the Magret Duck dish, and side dishes of mushrooms, and asparagus. The meal didn't disappoint! It's higher end and probably more geared toward special occasions or date night, rather than family outings. The bartender, Andrew, was enthusiastic and eager to keep all the customers happy. The staff is great and really adds to the ambiance of the restaurant. In the morning, we decided to return for a quick Everything bagel with salmon. That too was quite good, although it did come with cucumbers, which weren't described on the menu as part of the sandwich. No problem for us, but we'd recommend checking to ensure there aren't other off menu ingredients, if you're a more particular guest. The following morning, we returned again, this time for the scrambled egg sandwich with Bacon. Very very good. It's amazing how small touches, like the pepper aioli can make a simple item shine. The bacon at this restaurant is memorable. I encourage you to try it! The danishes, muffins, & other pastry items are very good, as well. Aster, at the bar in the mornings was fun and engaging. Passing the time during the small wait for our breakfast items was easy with her! Overall, loved this restaurant. We are eager to come back!!

Brand new place. Menu excellent with limited but curated options. Great raw bar items. Oysters were some of best I have ever had. Pastas delicious. Cocktails well done and presented in some unique ways. Ask for rye drink served in brandy snifter.

Saw this restaurant on a best of Atlanta page—the review must have been out of date. Ordered the pasta carbonara— it tasted off. They used pancetta, which was a good sign, but maybe the pancetta was past its prime. It tasted funky. Also had duck breast. This was okay, but the sides had hardly any flavor. . Why didn’t we send it back? My brother in law is a European-trained chef, and he says that the chef always knows what he/she is sending out, usually by tasting as they go along. Any reasonable person would be underwhelmed by these dishes. The desserts were good, but I bet they were from somewhere else.

I made my first visit to The Betty last week and certainly enjoyed it. The decor is beauthiful. My office is nearby and my wife was going to be in the area so we met there for drinks. We were seated at the bar, which is very nice and comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient. We decided to sample some of their food and had the Pate Campagne which was outstanding and accompanied by cornichon and grilled bread. The pate appeared to be house made. After that we wanted to try something else and ordered the Duck Rillette, which was also delicious. It proved a great spot to meet for a drink and snack. We would love to try the dining room in the near future. Our only complaint was we were required to valet park for $10 each. The extra $20 plus tip for a 45 minute visit left a bad taste. It would be much nicer if validation or self-parking was offered.

Staying at the Kimpton hotel so nice to have this restaurant on site. the brunch was amazing. very good food selection, and great drink choices.

The Betty is located in the Kimpton Sylvan Hotel in Buckhead. The atmosphere is contemporary elegant with class. We have dined here on four occasions over the last couple of months and every time has been perfect. The service, the food and the attention to detail is impeccable. The whole fish and the cauliflower are two of our favorites, but you can't be led astray with any dish on the menu. This is a great restaurant for dates, for meeting with friends and for business dinners. A must try!

This restaurant is fantastic! Dinner: this place is perfect for special occasions or date night. We tried an agnolotti and a lasagna dish, along with a wedge salad, and everything was super tasty. We would have also tried a mushroom side dish and a lobster appetizer, but sadly, both had onions that couldn’t be extracted. Nonetheless, everything was spectacular. Breakfast: very good. The menu is traditional, with many usual American breakfast favorites, and the ambiance is more relaxed. My preference? The scrambled egg sandwich, which was way tasty- and I love their thick cut bacon. The danishes are hard to resist, and the morning bar server, Aster, is simply wonderful. She’s engaging and eager to please her guests, and I simply can’t say enough wonderful things about her. Morning or night, this place makes me eager to return. You’re going to love it!

daniel and Tanyka were amazing at the valet please make sure they can start getting tipped by card! they were amazing! super amazing experience!

Just left The Art of Pasta demo with Chef Jay Swift! She showed us how to make pasta from scratch, including everything that we would need to make it at home. It was truly an enjoyable afternoon. Thanks, Chef!!
Cosy restaurant
We love this restaurant and especially the great layout of the bar overlooking the restaurant hall. We had some of the best appetizers ever, but the main course was good and not great. Still overall the experience was very positive and we will visit again. The bartender did great job with the cocktails
