Found this great little place while on the Mission Trail. The BBQ was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is in the airport terminal at the Stinson Airport. There are the usual meats, we had the sliced brisket which was very good. The sides were good and the sweet potato casserole was awesome! If visiting the Missions, its a unique place to stop for lunch or dinner.

Visited Big Bib this last weekend and the food was great! Had the lean brisket and the falvor was excellent with just the right amount of smoke. Potato salad was just like Mom used to make. The green beans were fresh and flavorful. Would visit again if in the area.

Met the pitmaster who hooked us up with a combo plate I will request if ever on death row! It was good enough for a final meal! Ribs, beans, chicken, pork, beef is all amazing. I had the combo plate because I love it all. My favorite wa sthe jalapeno cheese sausage. Never thought it would be better than ribs, and probably just me, but the sausage is amazing!

My must stop when I travel to SAT..... Still the best BBQ in town, brisket still perfectly smoked ribs, the meats still fall from the bone and the sauces are still perfect

My friends and I have eaten here several times. The down home food, family atmosphere, and great outdoor space make this place a wonderful meeting place.

We enjoyed our lunch while on the Mission tour. The BBQ was really good but the sauces need help. Servers were really good and have a great attitude. The restaurant is modern with views of the Stinson airport. In and out in 30 minutes and back to the mission tour.

A local friend recommended this place and we are glad we tried it! The food is good, fast and affordable. The staff was friendly and efficient. I recommend it for sure!

We stopped at the Big Bibb on our arrival in San Antonio...maybe 10 minutes from the airport. Lots of parking available. Inside and outdoor dining. Truly some of the best ribs and brisket we had including Terry Black's in Austin. The service is terrific...staff super friendly. Entire area is clean. The prices are really (really) reasonable. I rank #1 in San Antonio!
I am not a fan
--I tried the brisket plate with beans and coleslaw. I didn't order the lean brisket because I like the tenderness of the regular brisket; however, it seems that they served me the lean brisket because it was kind of dry, and there was not much flavor. The beans did not have much taste for my tastebuds, but maybe some people may like them like this. --When you arrive, you make a line to place your order. There was no line, so we went straight to the counter; we thought it would be quick because there were not many customers; however, it took a little more than expected to get our food. The person at the counter seemed very busy and did not greet as well. At this point, I am not sure if I will return.
