We had a delightful breakfast. Food is ordered at the counter ( with lots of choices) and then was promptly brought to our table by friendly and attentive staff. We were disappointed that it wasn't open for lunch as the day we arrived we were hungry and would love to have grabbed a bite in the hotel. But they are open for breakfast and dinner!

Maybe I am just easy to please, but when I get actual over easy eggs it just makes my day. I am not a fan of the fried potatoes, but other than that this was a perfect breakfast. Eggs, over easy, sourdough toast lightly toasted, and real sausage patties. Yummy! :-)

The beverage supervisor was super friendly! It was a great stop for a local IPA and hot wings. Both were priced reasonably. It was the perfect break on the walk to CenturyLink Field.

It was Sunday morning right at 7am. I was waking up, they were waking up and I had to sneak down to get breakfast in bed for my girlfriend and her birthday. The staff were able to work with my dining desires with fresh fruit, coffee and a meal for breakfast I knew she would love. The price was as I would have expected and everything was made rapidly and with care. I loved it. She loved it even more.

Very friendly staff, it does fill up quickly for breakfast, however still was able to find a place to sit, eat, and talk. Good food. The bartenders were also very good here.

Although they had a breakdown of their Fridge, they went out of their way to provide something to eat. Food was good and reasonable.

They have the same items as the Starbucks across the street. But I think Starbucks is cheaper, not by much though.

We had breakfast at the bistro. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. I felt like I was being served by friends!

Happy hour from 4 to 6 pm. I enjoyed the Oatmeal Stout on tap from a local brewery. Seemed to be a reasonable popular place for some of the locals too.

Limited menu: basically fast food - sandwiches and salads. Spirits/Wine selection: mediocre, Beer selection: very limited. Food was disgusting and cold but the server was excellent.

This is a tough one, we had two good meals and one terrible meal. We were staying in the Courtyard Marriott and ate a late dinner here the first night of our arrival as we’d been travelling all day and didn’t want to wander around downtown in the dark looking for something to eat. We had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and a burger with side salad. Both meals were hot and good and the service was good too. We had breakfast another morning when we were heading out of town before 0800 and this was the only place open that we could easily get to. We had the French toast and the breakfast sandwich and everything was great and the morning servers were very helpful and friendly. We stopped in for a quick meal after a long day out and had the turkey BLT (disappointing with deli meat instead of real turkey) an order of fries and the hummus plate. The fries were okay, but that ended up being my entire meal when I returned the hummus plate (which was removed from my bill). The hummus was wet, like it had been frozen or something and had water sitting on top, the carrots were extremely dry and the cucumbers were warm and limp. Either the plate got frozen, or it had been left on the counter all day; either way, it was gross and inedible. The breakfast service was the reason they got 3/5 and not a one or two.

We stayed at the hotel and decided to check out the happy hour and get something to snack on. We shared a flatbread pizza that was good and a couple of drinks. The bartender/waiter was extremely helpful in helping us plan out our trip for the few days we were there and was very knowledgeable concerning the area. This was a great help! The food we had and the place itself was pretty much average for what it was. Overall, a good experience.

While staying at the Courtyard, we got up early and walked around Seattle looking for a breakfast restaurant. Either we were not very focused, or we just didn't find a lot of options where we were walking! So we headed back to the Courtyard (where we were staying) and had a magnificent breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. Servers were helpful and friendly, took our orders promptly and very quickly delivered some delicious breakfast! They also serve Starbucks coffee and they have quite a nice menu of food items. Very reasonably priced for Seattle! They even have booths with televisions, so you can catch up on the news or events while enjoying your meal. Can't wait to return!

Late flight arrival, needed a meal. Thankful the hotel had a descent place to grab a meal. The location is nice and the staff is friendly. Breakfast was good as well. Will be back.

Courtyards have a awesome breakfast and menu in general. Great quality, good portion size's, price is perfect for what you are getting.

I ate breakfast here every day on my last stay. The service is way above par, the food is hot, fresh and delivered to your table. The value is amazing considering the service. This location also offers Happy Hour and evening dining service.

Once again the Bistro wasn't what I expected, but the food was good!! An added bonus was the calorie chart next to the menu items.

Overpriced Draft beer selections are labelled "IPA", "Wheat", etc with a sharpie pen, with no indicator of what brewery it came from. Barkeep didn't know either. A lot better choices along nearby 1st Ave.

I got the best tuna sandwich here, at the Courtyard Marriott, on third Street. AKA The ALASKA Building.

Since my son and I were staying at the Marriott, we decided to have breakfast here. The food was delicious, well prepared and appealing to the eye as well as the palate. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.

I ate here while staying at the hotel. The food was good and was reasonably priced. The food was served quickly after ordering. The staff was also friendly. A good place to eat in the immediate area since options for breakfast are limited.

We stopped for a beer and appetizers after the Mariners game. Beer was great. The Greek plate was pretty good but the calamari was horrible.

Housed in the Marriott we were staying in. Nice outdoor seating area, good food and drinks. A little pricey. We had lunch; don't know what their breakfast or dinner service would be like.

A great quick spot for a pick up and go breakfast or an eat in. Service was fast and selection while little variety day to day was adequate

Standard Courtyard breakfast with great service. Starbucks coffee. Also, a good bar to wind down at.

While they are not at full speed what they do they do well. The service was great and the food and drinks were good.

Breakfast menu was bleak. Food was okay, nothing special. I got the impression that there wasn't exactly a chef in the kitchen, if you know what I mean.

Limited menu but handy if you don't want to dine out. I have eaten there for all meals. Friendly staff and quick service.

You order at the counter and they bring it to you, as all the reviews note. In other words, this is a very casual restaurant, but one that charges $14 for a simple omelet or an uninspired egg sandwich. The side of arugula salad was heavily dressed, the orange juice comes in a bottle, and the coffee might as well have been a brown crayon dipped in hot water. On a Saturday morning at 7 there weren't many options in Pioneer Square, and I expect a hotel breakfast to be expensive, but when I spend a lot, I expect more than I got here. I should note that the two servers were pleasant and helpful and were working hard.

The Chinese chicken salad was very tasty. They also have many offerings for breakfast, including an egg white breakfast sandwich which was very good.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for 6 days & loved the ease of breakfast being right downstairs. Granted there is a Starbuck's on every corner, it was nice to get a good size breakfast. The staff are very friendly & greeted us every morning. The restaurant was very clean & recently updated. Happy was at 4pm every day & we enjoyed the bar tenders. Everyone had good suggestions to do each day. We recommend this for breakfast & happy hour every day.

We ate at the hotel because we were on-foot and didn't want to take a taxi to a restaurant. There weren't a lot of choices on the menu, so we tried the pepperoni pizza. It was flatbread rather than "real" pizza crust, and was very greasy from the pepperoni.

Limited but tasty food selections. Also a fairly limited and pricey bar selection...and skimpy pours. Much better options nearby if you have time to walk a couple blocks.

The service was all right, however the food was nothing to be overly excited about. The fries were shoestring- very Mickey D's. The burger was average. Breakfast was pretty decent. One thing though- I'd spotted a table with some food that had fallen from a previous customer , told the staff about it but they never cleaned it up! Also- many of the tables are low and round, like booths but more like lounge chairs- NOT the best to eat off of.

Who doesn't like to get up on your first day of travel and have a restaurant in the hotel to make your daily plan? We enjoyed our breakfast burritos and the portion size was larger than average, Starbucks Coffee (duh!) and then the bill. The only negative was how much it cost for a family of four (4)...$85...ouch!

Stopped in after work for a drink with friends. Was greeted cheerfully by the bartender. Ordered up some cocktails which came quickly. The Bloody Mary was one of the best I had ever had, flavorful and garnished nicely. The Manager came by to check on us to make sure things were okay and if she could do anything for us. Good drinks and great service, who can ask for more?

I wish I could give The Bistro a better rating. Even using the vouchers we were given for staying at the Courtyard, this was not the best value. They had very few allergy-friendly items (I was offered gluten-free bread/toast that I could swap for anything on the menu) and ended up eating a fruit cup and yogurt for breakfast every day. Everything my husband tried was just so-so (breakfast bowl, french toast, and a quesadilla for dinner on the night we arrived) and very salty. Perhaps we just caught them at a bad time.

Easy, clean, modern, corner spot with good windows for people watching. Good service and nice people. Moderate and fair prices and the included breakfast we had was fresh and good. Food at dinner simple but tasty. Nice and quiet in January so relaxed time and welcoming service.

The restaurant is short staffed. Actually the only employee we interacted with was Alexander. What could have been a bad experience with slow service was, instead, Alexander putting on a show of a mature young man with talent handling a tough, busy situation with poise, planning and personality. I don’t know who the chef was (not Alexander) but the food was delicious. The restaurant is located off the lobby of the Marriott Courtyard. Alexander is also the bartender and he mixes great drinks.

Food good, service seemed inexperienced but cordial and tries hard. Better than average, and I'll go back.

The Bistro is a nice and cozy place in the downtown Seattle area that has nice breakfast and dinner food, as well as good coffee. The staff is friendly and the interior decor is contemporary. They have many cold and hot breakfast selections, and their dinner menu has nice salads and tasty entrees. They serve wine, beer, and mixed drinks as well.

The Bistro is a nice hotel bar. Good service, easy to access, lots of drink options. Nothing really jumped out at me as the best bar in the area. I would use this bar for a meeting place if you are staying in the hotel before or after you head out.

We enjoyed our breakfast tremendously. Staff was courteous and very efficient. Coffee was great as expected.

We stayed at the hotel for several nights so went here for many breakfasts. Very perky and helpful service... surprisingly good food... quick.. good value. I also went here for cocktails and one take up to the room dinner which was also very delicious, well presented and quick.

While we stayed at this location we ate each morning and one dinner at the Bistro. We had nothing but good things to say about the staff and the food. Outstanding!

Hotel restaurants often are not great places to eat with kids, but the Bistro at Courtyard was excellent. The service is very friendly, after 2 days the staff knew our coffee orders, and the menu is great for casual dining. Breakfast and dinner were equally good.

Overpriced and not great, we paid over $50 for food we didn't finish. :( It's possible the food was just not our preference, but it was disappointing.

I loved the Bistro. The staff were always friendly and helpful and did whatever was needed to ensure I enjoyed my meal.

I thought that there were lots of items to choose from, I liked that the nutrition information was displayed on the menu. The lighting was nice to have first thing in the morning. I decided to stick with only drip coffee because when I got fancy they weren't necessarily trained baristas and it took a little while for the coffee to come.

An upbeat manager, constantly attentive. Pleasant cafe setting. Nice, quick breakfast, no waiting. Step up, order, and they bring it to you in short order

The Pioneer Square area has a dearth of restaurants for a sit-down breakfast. McCoy's Firehouse is a possible choice, but they do not open until 8. We needed to eat early to catch an early train, and the Bistro provided a good, hot, sit-down breakfast at a reasonable price. You order from the register at the counter, but they bring your food to your table. Good selection of coffees, teas and juices.

I didn’t get his name but the bartender on 18 and 19 May is a great kid - prompt, friendly, courteous, experienced and really a great guy. Dinner and breakfast service were great and the food was tasty and well presented.

Great size pizza and it was very very good. Service was great and our server was super friendly and helpful with wine suggestions.

If you say at the hotel this is a great way to start your day breakfast is cooked to your taste and nothing is a problem for the staff so if you have special dietary habits there is something for everyone. we started each day with breakfast and if we were back in time we would have a snack before venturing out again

A place that is half the size for the crowds that show up. Service was good from John. The dipping sauce for the gluten-free kabob was apparently NOT GF! I will be spending a long and miserable night now.

Just like every Marriott Bistro I have been too but they didn't have avacado for my vegan option. Overall they were quick and friendly

Nice lounge and good breakfast food, helpful friendly staff. good starbucks coffee. reasonably priced

I am not impressed with this Bistro. Slow service in the morning with hardly any customers present. Cost was a little high but that can be expected due to the location with Residence Inn. The layout looks like it was based on a last minute we better put something in here.

it was our last morning in Seattle... we were hungry so went to the street level of hotel and had breakfast. Not only was the food great, but Rachael the waitress was also awesome. She accommodated our special meals with no hesitation. Very nice and outgoing person. food was excellent....

My husband and I were staying at the Courtyard. We had just arrived after a long day of driving. After checking into the hotel, we wanted to stay within the hotel to avoid the downpour outside. It was a blessing for us that the Courtyard had the Bistro. The bar, the server, the food was just what we needed. I ordered the modern Cobb salad and my husband had the bistro burger. My salad was delicious. My husband said his burger was good. It was the perfect place for us on a rainy night after a long drive!

had beverages and appetizer -- not bad -- average to above. service decent -- would go back again though

The servers, Alex and Omar, were great - very personable and friendly. Food and drinks were very good. We will return on future visits. Thanks, gentlemen!

5 of us arrived from the airport, tired and hungry. We were able to choose a nice variety of items. My three-cheese grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup combo was fantastic. They are able to accommodate peanut allergies too which is great. Nice options for a quick breakfast too. My fruit and yogurt bowl was good, just didn’t like that it came in plastic (to go style).

We were 5 very tired people who needed sustinance and the Bistro was open. The food was average, but it did fill the void without having to walk another mile.

I coyldnt have been better caref for. Chris, the managers gently guided me as i showed up tired from a long day. He customized my order and packaged it up for me to enjoy in my room. My NY steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom demi glaze was fantastic. I didn't walk in with high expectations, but I was so overwhelming pleasantly surprised. I would dine here even if I wasn't a guest. You will enjoy the great staff. Very conscience, efficient and made me feel like a welcome family member.

We usually don't like restaurants in hotels but this was a surprise. We had a late night dinner here. The service was good and the food was served hot. We had a burger $12 and a quesadilla $11. We were very pleased with the food and also with the drink specials $2 Coronas. We also returned for breakfast and had a very good egg sandwich with hash browns. It is convenient and the staff is helpful and friendly. We would return. Enjoy!

My boyfriend and I wandered into the bistro this morning, distraught from travel plans gone wrong, and Chris absolutely went out of his way to cheer us up. His manner was perfectly suited for the hospitality industry, and we couldn't have felt more welcomed. Thanks for the good vibes! We got everything worked out for our trip.

If you're thinking that the prices will be out of this world and the food quality poor, then you must be thinking of another hotel chain. I've stayed at this hotel before and dined in and carried out as well. Hot food, good selection on the menu, and great prices greet you. Along with fast service, what more could you want?

The Bistro is a great concept for a quick good breakfast. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the managers were helping to keep everything moving fast.

Good food. Nice Happy Hour. Food menu good. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. Excellent place for Hotel stays customers.

It's a nice Courtyard Bistro with an expanded menu and a decent bar, but it's still not a full service restaurant.

DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTURANT (THE BISTRO) IN THIS HOTEL!!!!! I ordered a salad to go at the restaurant. With tip, the total was $18.52. THEY CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD $1852!!!!!! causing it to overdraft a few hundred dollars and get dinged for multiple overdraft charges. I got the run around from the The Bistro saying that I have to get it resolved with the bank since the charge already went through, BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN ERROR. Perhaps the server that day ran off with the money I don't know. All day I have been going back and forth with the resturant, the hotel managment as well as Marriott corporate to get it resolved and all I have been getting is the run around. This is totally unacceptable on all accounts. I should not have to do mulitple hours of personal legwork to get an issue resolve that was done by potential fraudulent behavior by the hotel restuarant.

So it's not fancy-dancy, but you get a decent meal and a reasonable price. We shareda starter of hummus and follwoed that with a couple of burgers. Good burgers, cooked properly. Service were good and the staff (especially Omar) lovely. Strainghtforward no-frills dinner Easy after a long day!

We were staying at the Courtyard and our room didn't have a sitting space for 4 people. We went to the Bistro to sit for a few minutes to plan our evening. It was very quiet and the bartender hadn't even gotten out a bank to make change because there were no other customers. We ordered a couple of happy hour glasses of wine and some water. Happy hour food selection seemed limited so we skipped ordering food. The next AM, one friend ordered scrambled eggs and pronounced them delicious. Pretty place to stop during a busy trip!

My son and I stayed at the hotel so it was convenient to have a quick breakfast there. It's just off the lobby. Menu was broad enough fro light to big breakfast or in between. Coffee is Starbucks (which is not my preference but tea is available as well). Portions are generous. we both had french toast (3 pieces with strawberries) and I also had a large bowl of oatmeal completes with raisins/craisins, walnuts with brown sugar and milk. Staff were pleasant. $30 plus tip I considered reasonable.

We stayed at this hotel and the Bistro offered breakfast and dinner. We had breakfast there every day and dinner once. Each time we were satisfied.

This establishment in the Courtyard is a good hotel restaurant. We were staying at the hotel and decided to stay in for breakfast one morning. The dining facilities were certainly nice enough and reasonably comfortable. It was a walk-up-and-order arrangement after which they bring the food to you. The service was friendly and efficient. I had the Morning Scramble with scrambled egg whites, turkey sausage, home fries and toast. It was quite tasty and the portion was more than adequate. My colleague had the Oatmeal and was quite happy with it as well. The prices were not bad as my Morning Scramble was just over $10. The coffee was OK. Overall, this is a good spot for breakfast and it is a decent choice as a place to get your morning started, especially if you are staying at the Courtyard.

many Courtyards are business hotels - but the staff here made us feel they genuinely cared, and the coffees and food we had for breakfast were very good.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The waiter apologized for a group of after work guests who were a little loud but as they were behind a partition we really weren't bothered. We both had burgers and fries - large portions of both. A good casual meal.

When you are staying at the Courtyard, this Bistro is so convenient. It's in a nice little corner off the Lobby, quiet and private.

Breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. This is a great restaurant to begin and end your day if you're staying at the Courtyard Marriott

This is the onsite dining facility at Courtyard Downtown Seattle. Food qualify is OK but price is expensive. Only had a bagel and a small cup of coffee one morning and it cost more than $10 so decided to do breakfast outside on other days. Also served simple finger food for dinner on some evenings. Overall, it is not a bad place if you are hungry and need something quick. Otherwise, there are better places than this one in the area.

Didn't really plan to eat at the hotel but after two very long days on a recent trip we decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised with quality and prices especially on the night we were there at early bird time. French Fries were exceptional. So if you are not up for a big restaurant mean give it a try.

This was a convenient place to eat while staying at the hotel. Cute booths with your own personal TV were a neat little touch. Food was good and service was very good.

Twice we ate there during our stay at the Courtyard and twice we ordered just as they were closing. Both times we received good service and good food.

After an evening in Seattle we stopped in the Bistro for a glass of wine. very convenient., wish it stayed open later
Good
Good food, nice atmosphere for a drink after work. Nice staff who make you feel at home! When I was there a reconstruction was going on but everyone tried hard to prevent any negative effects of that.
