Enjoyed such good options.

By kzwerner |

Great eateries with great options. We each chose our own enjoyable lunch. My son has a severe anaphylaxis dairy allergy and still found a delicious lunch. Thanks!

Great stop to see and taste

With the Consulate on the second floor and beautiful skylight the place was nice for the diverse food mall.

Renovations - more hype than substance

By Hampsteader |

I stopped in to look around the newly renovated Bourse Food Hall, which had its grand opening this past week (mid- November 2018). After reading reviews, press coverage, etc I was expecting something really special, but for me it did not live up to expectations. Is it better than it was? Yes, of course, as it was awful in recent years, but it's still just a food court (plus a couple of food/flower shops) with more expensive/higher-end fast food. I was expecting a lot more style and much nicer areas for sitting and eating than have been created. I can still recall what the Bourse looked like back in the early 80s when it had a couple levels of up-market boutiques, a spa and restaurants- and this new incarnation is not up to that standard. I might stop in for a coffee or a snack if I were nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

OK place to get a bite to eat

By MJL59 |

It is a pandemic so take the review with a grain of salt. Many food vendor spots are open...so not a huge selection of food to choose from. Not a whole lot of stores upstairs that I could see, though I did not go up there. I can imagine it was very nice pre pandemic and hopefully it can recover.

Quick stop for food

By Robert S |

We wanted to eat quick and get back to our hotel for R&R after a long day of touring. This place has a wide variety of food like cheese steak, pizza, etc. Short lines and lots of tables so you can get in and out fast. I guess you could say this is the ultimate fast food place.

Convenient for lunch

By Ajax1 |

The Bourse is a good place for a quick lunch when you’re near the Liberty Bell, The Weitzman Jewish Museum or close by. There were more choices pre COVID , yet now still enough diversity for everyone.

great variety

By Debbiekc73 |

Less than a block from our hotel, we enjoyed breakfast here most days, and dinner a few times. A beautiful building that has transformed into a food hall.

NOT just your average food court

By tlcoach14 |

Great variety of food items and high quality items at that. Plenty of room to sit without feeling like people are right on top of you. Clean and bright. It is a great place!

Lunch

By NittanyLion70 |

Stopped at Freebyrd in The Bourse We had chicken sandwiches Nice size tasty sandwiches. Little pricey. Liked the fried pickles

Lots of food choices

By JDtravel4fun |

If you are hungry and want to try some local Philadelphia food and drinks then check out this place. It’s a huge food court in an air-conditioned building.

New Food Hall!

By JCW703 |

This is a renovated space (not sure what it was before) that has 8-10 (or more) different food vendors in close proximity to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Everything from homemade pasta to Korean Tacos and southern fried chicken- something for everyone.

Minimal Choices

By Cheryl B |

Not sure if they were victims of the Covid lockdowns but about 75% of the restaurants in the hall are closed. Could be a great place but minimal choices to eat at on a Tuesday afternoon.

Great food choices in a beautiful building

By cindizzle |

There are many choices for food and drink here, with places to sit and enjoy. We loved the Egyptian food that we tried. Nearby to the attractions, it's a great place to get out of the cold and take a break.

Great variety try Mighty Melt

By D W |

the Bourse has quite a variety of food stations. We tried the Mighty Melt and had an excellent grilled cheese sandwich. Korean, Pizza, Hawaiian and much more.

Lots of food choices

By Pamela C |

This is a very cool place which was originally a stock exchange & still a Mexican Consulate upstairs. It has a bar in the middle and all types of food offerings around the perimeter. We had mexican, grilled cheese & fries and a chicken sandwich from 3 places. All were good. There were also lots of other choices. Plenty of seating & very close to the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall. Family friendly.

Large Variety of Food Places

By Blake |

There are a lot of food places in this marketplace. There are tables and chairs to sit and eat your food inside. None of the lines were very long and the employees there were helpful and kind.

Gorgeous Interior

By margie840 |

The Bourse is going to be filled with a lot of lovely and delicious eating establishments. Not everything is opened. One place that is, Barry's Buns. Delicious baked goods. I tried the blueberry coffee cake and it was moist and crumbly. Looking forward to more spots opening up.

Food court

By Andrew L |

Strangely quiet atmosphere in here. Loved the huge choice of foodstuffs on offer. Communal seating was great. Lovely welcome and assistance from the staff on each door. The bar atmosphere was just a little flat though. So didn't stay for a beer. Well worth a visit though.

What a PLace

By Alan G |

The Pinch, Mighty Melt and the bakery are just a few of the unique and great food spots here. A lot of indoor seating and great variety. Awesome!!

Quick bite while touring INHP

By John C |

Any time you are touring famous locations, eating sometimes becomes the last thing on your mind. And a food court isn't necessarily where you want to end up (think burgers, fries, etc). This food court is different in that regard. The food vendors are more specialized and unique with a lot of variety throughout the venue. Highly recommend at least walking through before ruling it out on your journey. Specifically, I had Chicken Fried Steak, Eggs & Hashbrowns at Grubhouse and it was cooked to order and quite tasty.

Not Your Typical Food Court

By TeamMan |

No, you won't find a Subway or a Popeye's Chicken here. But you will find an array of original vendors selling a wide variety of food from around the world. Of course, you have a Philly favorite, Marino Brothers, dishing out the very best Cheesesteaks. However, you also have Egyptian delicacies, Chinese Steamed Dumplings, Korean Tacos (!), Hawaiian Poke, Filipino Comfort Food and much, much more. I opted for some steamed dumplings at Pinch (see photo) that were wonderful, a slice of amazing pizza from Bricco (photo) and a delicious sticky bun from Barry's Buns. The seating area could be made more comfortable but I guess they don't want you to hang out there too long. If you're visiting the historic area, the Bourse Hall is a great choice for a casual and interesting light meal.

Poke at the Food court

By 508EllenCee |

The Bourse has had many rounds of food courts in it over the last few decades, but lunch here recently was surprisingly cheap and very tasty. You can't go wrong with Poke. We got small poke bowl's at Abunai Poke for $8 apiece. They had larger bowls for $12-14, but we weren't that hungry, so this hit the spot. There were plenty of tables, and the selection of vendors included Egyptian, Philly cheese steaks, pizza and Asian. It's very convenient, close to Independence Hall, with free bathrooms and air conditioning in the summer. [We didn't need the AC in March with snow in the forecast.]

Nice place

By Daaaaaaaaais |

This building looks beautiful and there are a lot of options to eat. Whe chose for Egyptian, which was good, but the falafel was too deep fried and we wanted to be healthy-ish. There’s also tables outside to sit.

Lovely place

By Salvy |

It's very near popular spots in Philadelphia. A lovely place to rest and find good food like Mexican, Philly local food, cakes and coffee shop. Noted some shops are open late for lunch.

Not a lot of open options…

By Jenni M |

We stopped here for lunch and found only about 4 places open. It’s a beautiful space and would be a great spot for lunch. However, with not a lot of choices open, it is very limited. Personally until Covid is completely over, I would find other places for lunch.

Freebyrd Chicken and #GetFried

By bluejeanfood |

My oh my, what a beautiful renovation at The Bourse Food Hall. So many choices and only so much I can eat at one time. Well you’re getting a 2 for 1 deal on this post. You get two different food vendors in one post. Let me start with the one I really enjoyed. That would be Freebyrd’s Nash-Vegas Honey Hot Chicken Sandwich with slow roasted pulled chicken, honey hot sauce, and beer mustard braised onions on a soft roll. It was delicious and devoured in seconds. I will definitely give them a repeat visit and try some of their other offerings. The other selection was from #getfried fry café with their Oh Canada Poutine with bacon topping. I’ll say I’ve had worse and I’ve had better.

Lalo and Pinch not that great

By Dexter B |

Lalo is a place to buy "Filpino" food. Now I myself being a born American, thought the BBQ chicken on the stick with rice was good. My adult daughter who is from the Philippines had the same said it wasn't very good and the Longanisa my wife (pure Filipina) had was more like American sausage. Even I have had much better or shall we say REAL Longanisa. So..I figured I'd make up for it by buying some pork fried dumplings and Almond Bubble Tea at Pinch. Isn't Almond Bubble Tea supposed to be white? (This was a paler pink). Yeah...it didn't taste that good. The dumplings...I'd rate a 4. Fortunately, there was soy sauce to dip them in. Overall bad experience at The Bourse Marketplace. Not impressed and will not be back.

Summer vacation

By Ann L |

We visited this Marketplace on a walking tour of Philadelphia and it turned out to be our favorite place to eat! Not only was the building super cool to explore the food options in the market place was superb!! We went back two or three times during our four days in Philadelphia. The taco place was amazing! And my kids loved the holly cheese steak place also.

1 Shop was open

By TXMARTINS |

Whether it was due to graduation weekend, construction or more we arrived to find only the cheesesteak place open in the entire food hall. Disappointing after walking over to allow our kids more than one food option. Super cool older building

Just another food court

By ChasD999 |

Philadelphia seems to like food courts. The architecture is nice, making a walk through pleasant, but a food court is what a food court is...

Love It!!!

By Kelli K |

My ONLY problem here is that there are too many options and not enough stomach room. So far, I’ve tried the Mac n Cheese Eggrolls at GetFried, a the NashVegas Honey Hot chicken sandwich at FreeByrd, several beers, ciders and mead at Taps Fill Station, and the Carved Porchetta at Rustica Rosticceria. All of which has been EXCELLENT! My favorite being the Porchetta along with Unicorns in Tanks beer at Taps. Next stop... Egyptian cuisine at Ka Moon!

Easy access, many (?too many) food options

By Henry B |

This space is in an old sandstone building very close to Independence Hall. It houses at least a dozen different food vendors plus a bar. The options ranged from Phillipine, Korean, Mexican, American traditional foods, bakeries and many more. After walking around, I was bewildered by the options. Each place had patrons who appeared to be enjoying good food. The food looked gorgeous and all was freshly prepared.

Expensive!

By Angie T |

I wanted to see the historical building--the first commodities exchange in the US. Building was beautiful and the ground floor is filled with a food court that has everything you could possibly want, but is rather expensive...we only got 3 ice teas and would up spending about $13. Food looked good, but bring your wallet!

Not much open

By siochainDenver |

Only 4 stores. Don't know if it was the time of day (but in my opinion 2:00 is not too late for lunch), but then again there was hardly anyone in the place.

Not the same due to Covid

By jpete02 |

Covid has really hurt this food hall as many of the stalls have closed. As of October 2021, there is a Mexican place, a poke bowl food place, a pizza place, Grubsteak, a dessert place, and a cheesesteak place. Unfortunately, many of the more interesting stalls have closed. There is indoor seating and some outside tables. Seating area inside has lots of light and is airy due to design of the building. Located on 5th St across from Liberty Bell park. Hopefully, this place can recover soon.

Fancy!!

By Josh D |

I happen to enjoy fancy food courts because rest stop food courts make me nauseous and I’m not a big fan of fast food!! I went to a fancy food court in Fidi called the Tin Building and made a good joke in my review!! If you want to read it I am sort of selling my own reviews for your enjoyment!! I was walking around yesterday looking for a Wawa and my eyes came across this place and I made a very good decision to try it!! I went to the first stand in front of the door which served burgers and sandwiches and things!! I got a beautiful burger with bacon and cheese and it came out fast!! They had machines to order from which I always enjoy because I enjoy being anti social and not ordering with cashiers!! There was a lot of different food for all the culinary palates so all of ya people should come!!

Quality food in historic centre

By Douglas T |

Great food. Good value. We had two meals here during our stay in Philly. Good quality, modern food with choice for different tastes. More people should come.

Great options

By 2TravelLuvers |

I had LALO, my wife had Mighty Melt. That was followed by Kombucha (me) and a London Fog Latte (her) at Kari's Tea Bar. Everything was great. It was really busy. My only complaint about The Bourse is seating. There are many great looking options, including a bar. Will definitely return.

Great place for food, drink, and a restroom across from all the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.

By BuenViaje68 |

My boys and I stopped into this place for a snack and found so much more. They have a nice restroom to use, but they also have a lot of food varieties to get something to eat while you are touring all the historical sights in the area. They even have a couple of bars that have some great drinks. We ended up having a light dinner, drinks, and desserts here after a morning and afternoon of touring the area. The building and architecture was also very interesting.

It Used To Be Cool!

By Hiram C |

The Bourse is now like a food court in any given mall. Has no passion. No self identity. If you wan to get a grub, then go there please. But it used to be a lot cooler with arts and crafts vendors.

Great little food hall

By Bonnie L |

Had the fish taco from Rebel Taco and the little one had the poutine from Fried. The taco was to die for. Spicy, fresh, yummy! We topped it off with some ice cream from Scoop de Ville, well maybe 2 scoops!

Excellent food hall in a restored historic building

By Larry10803 |

Loved this reincarnation of the Bourse - had been many years ago when it was first restored. It's now a huge food court with many varieties of fast food vendors. Beautifully restored building, very clean and well maintained, with clean bathrooms - always important when traveling! Located near Independence Hall and Park, in the historic area of the city, with a subway stop right on the corner. We had pulled pork sandwiches and beers at the Grubhouse - excellent lunch.

Needs more vendors to be of consequence

By PuzzleSolver855 |

Stop in to see the wonderful architecture. We made the mistake of getting a Philly cheesesteak and it was pitiful and expensive. The hall is just about naked from lack of people. Hop on/off tour is in front here.

Virtually nothing open- and they made you wear a mask even though no one there.

By travelingtarheel |

This place was virtually empty and a wasted walk over there. They had a guy at each entrance forcing you to put a mask on, even though that goes against CDC recommendations at this time. There was virtually no one in there so how would you get within 6' of anyone.

Vendors are nice variety- but need more!

By TDNY |

Is this place on its way up? Or on the way down? It's difficult to tell. About half the stalls were open when we were there at lunch time. Even though there were signs of previous activity in empty stalls I couldn't tell if they were in the process of opening up or closing down and moving away. Breakfast time is even worse- just one coffee shop open at the front. Very cool concept- hopefully this place is on it's way up and is filling with vendors and not the other way around!

Amazing Tacos!!

By V R |

Rebel Tacos had the best choices and flavors of Tacos. Fun food hall with variety of choices. Must visit

Great Food!!

By Island Girl |

Two of my favorite places to eat are here. Marino Brothers has excellent cheesesteaks and The Grubhouse has one of the best breakfasts around. The hash browns are tasty and the biscuit is incredible. A very bountiful breakfast! The waffles are also delicious.

The Bourse for lunch

By Anibal M |

Interesting variety of food for everyone and conveniently located near other mus visit locations such as the Independence Mall

Love the new look!

By Whitney G |

I am in love with the (fairly) newly renovated Bourse food hall. It's a beautiful space that is perfect for a quick bite, or for hanging out and having a chill day/evening. The new food vendors aren't your typical mall food court chain options. There are many different alcohol options - beer, cocktails, wine, and recently they've been adding entertainment. For instance, one night there was live music, and they're doing quizzo next week. Whether you live in Philly or are just visiting, please come by and check it out!

delicious....Pizza and chix shwarma

By Momof1inMD |

This was next to my hotel, The Renaissance, so we popped in for a quick lunch. Good options. We picked pizza and middle eastern food - it was very good.

Worth checking out...probably best in PM

By Meander696889 |

I had seen in the Philadelphia Inquirer that this had just opened after a massive renovation and thought it would be worth checking out. Our family of 4 visited at 11 am after having breakfast at Reading Terminal Market. The contrast was interesting.... Reading Terminal was crowded, congested, a bit stressful but with a fun vibe, whereas the Bourse Market was relaxed, spacious, architecturally beautiful with a sophisticated vibe....though pretty dead at 11am on a Saturday. I'd definitely like to come back in the afternoon sometime. There seemed to be a selection of 20-30 interesting specialty shops and eating places. I think the location in between Independence Hall and The Constitution Center is great for the many tourists that come to the area.

AVOID. It looks like the place is shutting down

By EmilyL95765 |

this place has shut down. One cheese steak open for the tourist bus parked outside. AVoid. Go to Reading market. This place is going out of business.

Hunt for food

By jwreed12 |

This place lost its appeal. Half of it was unrented or shut down. The food did not look fresh. Seemed empty.

Quick bite

By stuart b |

Had a busy day in Philadelphia and needed a sit down and a drink. Saw this place and had a brilliant Philly steak sandwich. Recommended

Less Character/Better Food

By Herstory_62 |

Athough the the revamped Bourse has lost its local earthy Philly character & seems rather sterile, the new food concessions are more interesting, enticing & very good: For example, Filipino food topped with a soft-boiled egg & garlic rice at LA LO or salmon on a bed of rice at Rustica--to say nothing of an array of pastries, gourmet ice cream, etc.

Abunai Poke

By Herstory_62 |

Finally post-COVID, things are picking up again at the Bourse! Yesterday we sampled a delicious poke bowl at Abunai Poke near the west entrance. Topped with fish eggs, the bowl featured lots of shrimp atop fresh greens, edamame beans & other treats. Service was efficient and friendly and the price is right!

Simple excellent

By spiritwheels |

This is a market place with excellent food. We had grilled cheese, philly cheese steak, and Philippino food. The desserts were excellent. This was a great second choice after the Reading Marketplace.

Tired just the outside of the building

By jer b |

The Bourse building dates from 1891 and is right in the Philadelphia Historic District, close to the Liberty Bell and the Independence Visitor Center. What attracted us to it was the beauty of its architectural design. It is done in the Beaux Arts style and made of sandstone and brick and accented with terra-cotta. It is simply a stunning building. It is to house a market, food court, and specialty shops but we did not go in as we were making a beeline to the Reading Terminal Market which was highly recommended to us and was WELL worth it. We simply admired the beauty of the building itself from across the street.

Don’t go until after COVID

By Carol M |

Nothing there maybe one restaurant was open. The bus company uses it as a potty stop and the Mexican Consulate rents space. What a waste.

Inaccurate Times Listed

By William A |

Inaccurate times according to the official Bourse website as well as Trip Advisor… We walked in at 4:45 p.m. on Friday August 2nd, 2024 and the place was completely empty.. No customers and no remaining employees!

Clean public restrooms in downtown Philly!!

By cfpsu1 |

Clean public restrooms in downtown Philly!! This alone will get my 4 stars!! The Bourse Marketplace is a mini-Reading Terminal beside the Liberty Bell. The market place is filled with eclectic eateries, bakeries, drinks, and shops. In addition to the standard beverage offerings, there are several Adult beverage places to help take the edge off the crowds outside! The food offerings reminded me of a delicious food truck rally, but in permanent locations. Food being served ranges from Egyptian to sticky buns and everything in between. Including the Bourse Marketplace in your Philadelphia Historic visit will revitalize you for the remainder of your day.

A well appointed food hall

By Robert S |

The Bourse was once the site Philadelphia Stock Exchange. The main atrium area is very impressive. It has been restored into a very attractive food hall. We were having trouble deciding, but we settles on Takorean and had a really nice lunch.

love this place

By Corbin G |

We only got a chance to eat here once, but I would have done a lot more. It has such a great variety of cuisines to try and it smelled great. Interesting decor as well. I will say that it is essentially a food court, but as long as they bring the flavor who cares.

Nice

By DipuKV |

Lovely ambience. A stock exchange converted into a food court. An embassy upstairs. Nice restaurants. Relished the food.

Takorean at the Bourse Food Hall

By IndyDogz |

The updated food hall at the Bourse has a great selection of restaurants for lunch and two draft bars to sample craft beers and wines. This visit we had lunch from Takorean. You can build 3 soft corn tacos or build a taco bowl. Then select the slaw and protean and any toppings. We both liked our food. Keep in mind finding a place to sit during the busy lunch hour can be tough.

Fun

By gablenlombard |

A smaller version of the Reading Terminal Market. We ate at 3 places - FreeByrd - excellent chicken!, The Grubhouse for breakfast, again - excellent, and Scoop DeVille for ice cream - outstanding!

Better days ahead?

By Gena C |

Sad, not much to see. Seems there were better times. Building is cool, but today, Saturday., only about 5 stalls opened. Hope this place will get filled in the future and make a comeback.

Very Disappointing

By NapiliR |

I needed lunch between museum visits and thought more restaurants would be in here. Only three places to eat, and only two shops. No information on the building itself.

Under Repair Now ... an XOXO on it's way

By OftenTraveling1066 |

The Bourse is under repair at the moment. When it reopens it will still be the location of the Mexican Consulate, which I think is a cool thing. Also, based on the signage that is being installed there now there will be an XOXO which is a famous convenience store in Mexico; I don't quite know what it will be when it opens --- fast food, I expect.

Takorean Korean Taco Grill

By GailCooks |

With so many choices, we went with Takorean near the entrance we used. It was good; they offer bowls as well as tacos. The soft tacos are thicker than normal, so hold up very well with all the fillings. The option of 5 proteins and 3 slaws makes it even more challenging not to hold up the line. The pork with kale slaw is amazing; try it with the sweet & hot sriracha sauce! The brown rice option is very nice, too.

This Bourse is Back!

By TeamMan |

The Bourse food court was closed for renovations for quite a while. It's now open and much improved. There are a variety of diverse, multi-ethnic food and drink options, including Egyptian, Hawaiian, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Indian, Mexican and, of course, Philly. There are pastries and ice cream as well as beer and wine. It's fun just wondering around checking out the many options. We were in the mood for a good old-fashioned Philly Cheesesteak and so we stopped at Marino Brothers and were not disappointed. You get a BIG hoagie roll filled to the brim with your choice of steak or chicken plus mushrooms, onions and peppers topped with cheese (see photo) or any combination you like. You place your order, pay, then wait for your number to be called and then pick up your food. There are plenty of casual tables and chairs nearby. For visitors to the many historic places in the area, the Bourse provides a great option to grab a quick bite at a fairly reasonable cost. For example, the basic cheesesteak was $10.

There must be something for everyone here.

By WoodstockJack2013 |

Loads of different eateries here to suit all tastes. We ordered an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich what was really an omelet in a bun. It was very nice and we did not have to wait long. We got that from Grubhouse.

LOVE IT!

By paige esemplare |

AMAZING! This place never disappoints. Awesome drinks, sides, and any chicken sandwich combo you can name. 11/10!

4th of July Lunch Stop

By Evargsum |

Called in here for lunch and to get a little cool down, the heat outside being a little overwhelming. The building is an architectural marvel and looks much more impressive on the inside. Food outlets cater for every need and provides a great atmosphere.

passing by

By josephrdrexler |

Stopped here for lunch and I must say it is a wonderful place to eat at. Since being renovated the selection of food outlets has improved greatly. Excellent choice and will stop by again

Great Choice of Food outlets

By big-bill3 |

This is an ex-Stock Exchange turned into a food hall. A great buzz about the place. Good choice of fast food

Variety - and a Landmark Theater nearby

By Janet L |

I found the variety of ethnic fast foods to be interesting. Lots of beer choices too. Relaxed atmosphere - open after the museums close, affordable, convenient location, interesting architecture. Mexican consulate upstairs. Cinema around the corner.

From my research, I expected more

By Karen H |

We stopped here for lunch after a Hop on/Hop off tour. I expected to find the place loaded with restaurants and shops, but what we found was just a handful of fast food options (& not all of them open on a Saturday at lunch time). We ate at Rustica Rosticceria; we each had an Italian hoagie ($12.95) and a bottle of water ($2.50). With tax, the bill came to $33.37 which seems a little high to me for lunch, but probably not so much these days (sadly). I will say the hoagies were loaded and I don't know why, but the deli meats & cheeses here (Philadelphia) just taste better. I had forgotten just how MUCH better they taste. We enjoyed them very much. The hall itself had a team going around cleaning tables and sweeping the floor, but the number of businesses inside and even fewer that were open was disappointing, especially after everything that I had read about the place leading me to believe it would be so much more. I'd give Rustica a 5 and the Hall itself a 2, but since Rustica was so good, I averaged up.

Food hall in the old stock exchange

By PKH624 |

Dropped in on a tour of Philadelphia and the Independence area. Loaded of fast food outlets, chose GRUBHOUSE, for pancakes. Beware, portions are huge, enough for 2, but very tasty. Recommended

This is for Mighty Melt

By Elaine S |

Mighty Melt located in The Bourse Market is awesome. There are several good and interesting places to eat at the Market, it is clean and has a good atmosphere, but Might Melt won our hearts. The first time we ate there the man who took our order could not be any more accommodating. Altered the sandwhich for my son and after we paid, he realized he had no Diet Coke, so paid for us to get one at the next booth. The melt was delicious, so much so we ordered a second and warmed it up for breakfast the next morning. We had lunch elsewhere late, so we picked up another set of melts for a take home dinner. Two different ones and both really, really good. They do gourmet grilled cheese with great ingredient mixes and great bread. Highly recommend.

Great Venue!

By Debbie1757 |

This food market gives Reading Marketplace a run for its money. Newly restored to its original finishes. Great selection of food vendors and easy to get around. Not as crowded as Reading Marketplace which makes it easier to order food and find seating. We had egg sandwiches at Menagerie Coffee. Sandwiches were made with real eggs and were served fresh and hot. Great place to visit and eat.

Good food - not open for dinner

By JJSSS |

Went there for a snack during the day and liked it, so went back for dinner and almost every restaurant was closing or closed. It was 6:30 pm on a Wednesday. The sign on the front of the building says it is a food court and open for dinner.

Eclectic

By Bonnie C |

We stopped for ice cream one evening on our way back to the place we stayed, and had dinner there another afternoon. The food was wonderful, There is a great atmosphere, everyone looked to be having a great time.

Fab place with plenty of options

By Dr Simon Stones |

Fab place with plenty of options for every palate, set in a beautiful old building which has been tastefully renovated.

Beautiful building with interesting food choices

By Irene S |

We ate lunch at the Mighty Melt which is a speciality grilled cheese place. Catchy names for the different sandwiches and just delicious. We also got their fries as a side. They had rosemary salt, garlic and cheese on them. The fries were amazing. We also had some cookies from another little shop called Barry's Buns. They were pretty expensive and good, but not great. Most of their items were expensive and I have worked in the bakery business for over 30 years. They are having the grand opening in about 10 days in the middle of November. There was a Korean taco place, a soup place, a dumpling place with unique choices, steak sandwiches, assorted sandwiches, a brewery, and various other establishments. This is right near the Liberty Bell and the Constitution Center. I highly recommend stopping by.

Interesting Choices

By Stephen G |

Located in a converted commodities market building the Bourse is now essentially a great big food hall. Some interesting selections (not surre what Egyptian nachos or Korean Tacos are, but if you want them they are on offer here). The chicken soup stall is definitely worth a visit.
