We Love Level Two! It's fun and creative environment left us a very happy memory. They have a wide range of innovative dishes that are not only delightful and also delicious! Dex Ng Mong Meiyan Dexperience

I'm staying at the Hyatt for business and chose to have the breakfast buffet at Level Two just because of convenience. I was very pleasantly surprised by the food, the atmosphere, and service. First, I'm VERY surprised by the reviews saying the food here is average. They serve prosciutto, gruyere cheese, all the berries you can eat (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries), other fresh fruit like pineapple (and it was very fresh), mini yoghurt parfaits, fresh pastries, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal with all the fixings (hazelnuts! dried blueberries!), frittata, I could go on but I hope you get the point that many of the buffet items are high cost gourmet fare. A large pot of fresh green tea was included in the buffet too. I could't have had a more enjoyable, delicious breakfast/lunch if I tried to go find it elsewhere in the area. I suspect I actually would have paid much more than my $24+tax/tip if I tried to do so. Highly recommend. Oh, and the atmosphere is open, airy, and modern. What else could you ask for?

Bar is very nice and bartender was great and drinks delish. Food tho, was so so. We had a cheeseburger, only really normal thing on the menu and it was decent. But, our 9 yr old ordered chicken tenders and they had veggies shredded up in chicken. Very gross tasting and did not fool our son for a minute-lol. Make sure to ask exactly how menu item is prepared, especially if u have picky, hungry kids like mine.

Nothing special, but service is quick and friendly enough. Basic menu which covers the standard bases I guess. Not a destination I'd ever choose to go to, but when staying at the hotel it's good enough. Beer selection was larger than I was expecting and wine selection was adequate. Expensive for what it is, but I'd expect that in a Hyatt

We enjoyed evening drinks at the bar several evenings with excellent service by Alex. We ate breakfast one day. A decent breakfast buffet is offered but we opted for a la carte. I had a delicious egg white omelet with cheese and spinach served with a side of super crispy, crunchy shredded potatoes and rye toast. Service was attentive and quick. Hubby had the sticky-sweet sticky-bun French toast that would satisfy the pickiest sweet tooth!

Located on the second floor of the Hyatt Centric Magnificent Mile (hence the name!) Level Two offers great food and drink. There's an extensive list of cocktails and plenty of local beer on tap and by the bottle/can. The service was excellent and you can sit at the bar, at high tables, in comfortable leather chairs or at traditional tables.

Enjoyed this place very much. The food and service was great. The brunch was about $100.00 with a mimosa each. Took the car, found parking nearby for $23.00.

I ate lunch here with 2 clients, as we were staying at the hotel. The lunch menu has a build your lunch - choose entree and sides. I really like this approach because it let me choose what I wanted. The food was nicely prepared. The service was attentive. Net, net better than the usual hotel restaurant fare. If you are staying at the Hyatt, and need convenience, I recommend Level Two.

GREAT brunch...will be back! Service and food were spectacular. Bought TravelZoo coupon for a great price.

great food - really enjoyed the halibut ( fish of the day). great flavors and an outstanding executive chef.

We arrived after a long flight to Chicago about brunch time, and wanted a place that was right by our hotel and where we would not have to wait. Level Two fit the bill. So imagine my surprise when we had such nice service and wonderful food. I had a special brunch mimosa, which was good, and an omelet with herbed cream cheese and veggies which was outstanding. My daughter was very happy with her nutella pancakes. It's a little strange that it's inside a hotel (the Hyatt), and I normally wouldn't want to eat at a hotel restaurant, but this really surprised us with the quality of the food. Recommended if you are in the neighborhood.

Before I visited Chicago i was told to try this restaurant and i am happy i did. I was service with a smile.

I ate here over memorial day weekend. It is more like a "diner ". It is located on the second floor of the Hyatt centric hotel, next to their main bar area. The menu is light and flavorful, the seating is open, up-to-date and hip. I ordered the mini chicken gyros appetizer($13) and the Mezzanine plate (hummus and pita with olives and goat cheese) appetizer $14. They had quite a bit of items on the menu, which looked really delicious, but we had dinner reservations throughout our stay and only wanted something light. The food was absolutely delicious, I ended up taking my daughters up to the room for her to finish, and they had no problem with that. On the weekends they have a breakfast buffet that you pay for. You can choose to pay for the hot side of the buffet, or just the cold side of the buffet. I would highly recommend this restaurant, mostly for its convenience within the hotel, and the fact that I had a good experience with the flavor and quality of the food. I would recommend any of the appetizers, and I saw a few of the burgers carried passed me while I dined, and they looked absolutely delicious! I am sure that this menu is also available if you chose to sit near the bar area to watch the latest sports game on TV. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, they were kids coming and going, adults coming and going. It was a very welcoming and casual place to dine. Please press "yes" if you found this helpful, as I wonder if anyone actually reads these.....

Went to this restaurant with my husband and unfortunately they did not offer any alternatives for vegan customers. Well just the french fries.

I had a late brunch on a Saturday here. Ordered the chorizo bowl. TONS of food. You also get 2 house made miniature donuts for your coffee while you wait, which is nice. I had plain and pistachio. The chorizo bowl was layered with rice and chorizo, tomatoes, avocado, a fried egg and tortilla strips and topped with cilantro. Very tasty, just the right amount of spicy. The service was above and beyond. All items on the brunch menu are $15 which isn't too shabby and definitely worth the amount you get.

Still a great experience with different and interesting food, but the brunch previously included "appetizers" of the most delicious mini Do-Rite donuts made especially for the café, and in addition, "dessert" of tiny, artfully handmade bites of special sweets served on a sleek plank-- a bit of contemporary art which made the meal a very unique experience. Frankly, without these special touches, the café seems average. Service is good and friendly, food is fresh and nicely prepared, like many other similar cafes in the area. BRING BACK THOSE DONUTS!

I ate here twice and was delighted both times. I had the wings on a Sunday night when I had arrived for business and just needed a little something. I sat at the bar and the service by the two bartenders was very good. My only complaint is the constant presence of sports events on the TVs, even though there are two: everyone seems to cater to sports when not everyone in the world is into sports. Fashion, Arts, Travel: these are areas of interest also. Yet no matter where I go, sports seem to be the only thing ever on.

Our waitress was friendly, but delivered the wrong food. My husband omelette was tasty (smoked salmon) but not hot. Mine was hot and tasty, but the side of hasbrowns were way too greasy. So overall it was decent breakfast, but we won't search the place out on a return visit.

Hidden on the second floor of the Hyatt, this is a great respite from the busy streets below. Food was good, wait staff was attentive, although busy at the bar - granted, we went during the late afternoon lull.

So my boyfriend and i made a trip to Chicago and I wanted to surprise him with something special. I found a deal on living social for two brunches and two drinks and I thought that was a super deal so I purchased it. So on sunday, 9/6/15, we finally got to have brunch here. The drinks were ok, my boyfriends drink and brunch were good, mine not so much. I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese; I asked the server if the eggs were overwell since the menu said, "fried." My eggs on the sandwich were not "fried" but over medium so I had to send it back. My hanhbrowns were overcooked and burnt and the bread was soaked in butter. I ate most of it but I've had better at Waffle House. I showed the server the butter soaked bread and my napkin with butter stains. Everyone else had gotten their "do rite" donuts, but we did not. I even asked the server about them since I've seen the manager give them to everyone else but us. I had a bad time even though my boyfriend had a good time and meal there.

I went there with some of my friends for dinner. Food was okay, service was okay. One of my friends ordered a stake and asked to cook rare, but it came out with medium cooked.

See companion review of Hyatt Magnificent Mile. Dinner was terrific as were the appetizers. Bar area was great with live music, more like a report than a business hotel.

Had Brunch today. Egg sandwich with pork belly was excellent as were hash browns. Wife had crab cake Benedict and it was great two. Staff was friendly and helpful. Space was nice and modern, but also warm and inviting. Good bloody Mary. All brunch items $15,. Serving were plentiful. All in all dam fine brunch.

The brunch menu is not that long at all, so we were a little worried - but when they brought my wife her french toast and me my steak omelet, boy were we surprised. It was absolutely delicious. We were in Chicago for our anniversary and I called ahead and let them know, so they prepared their own gift for us and was also delicious and quite surprising at how above and beyond they went. We'll definitely visit with them when we're back in Chicago.

There was nothing special about the food. Denver skillet was too salty and we ended sending it back. Angus burger was OK, Chicken wrap was so so as well. Dessert was great though! Not a cozy place for couple date. With TravelZoo coupon, it is definitely a place to come back but without it, I would have second thought.

I stopped in here for happy hour because this is attached our hotel after a day of sightseeing and shopping, they seem to have a nice food menu however I didn’t order but the people around me Simi Valley police and everything looked delicious, they had three local beers on draft and plenty other beers bottled and a full bar spirits, Nice little bar not very crowded couple TVs the kind of place I like and will definitely visit again.

Used a groupon for brunch and 1 cocktail. Son had the chicken and waffle, he loved it and I had the eggs benedict. It also included dessert.

We were surprised that it is no longer a walk up brunch with many choices on a food bar. Instead you order from a limited menu. Given its present format we will not return. I do want to say our service was efficient and cheerful

The food at Hyatt Centric is so very good. We ate breakfast and lunch and always pleased. The service is outstanding with everyone being so attentive. I would recommend Level Two Restaurant to anyone visiting Chicago!!!

My husband and I were on our anniversary in Chicago and wanted to try something different so I checked out groupon and found this brunch restaurant. Angel our server was very friendly and made a great drink! We had the chicken and waffles and the eggs benedict, food was outstanding! A must try if your in river north area!

I needed a quiet lunch while waiting to see my husband at Northwestern so I decided to go back to the hotel and eat there. I opted for the cheeseburger and parmesan truffle fries. The amount of food was huge. Everything was very good.

Karina and Kenya were simply amazing!! The children in the our group were catered as though they were VIPs!! “I would eat here every day and I never want to leave!” were the words straight from a child’s mouth! Breakfast was delicious! 5 Star quality, for a reasonable price! We highly recommend coming in, even if it’s just to see these lovely ladies!

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We happened to be staying in the hotel and felt a bit lazy, but we knew this place would not disappoint. Even though they were short-staffed, there were no issues. The food was amazing. Service did not disappoint - Glad we stayed in!

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. The buffet had a wide variety of tasty items and eggs made to order were included.

Good food but service was so-so. Nevertheless very convenient and enjoyed the food! Especially liked the burgers selection

Great breakfast!!!! We ordered from the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great restaurant. The servers were wonderful!!!!

It is always great to have an inviting bar/restaurant within your hotel. This one was on the second floor (thus the name) of the Hyatt Magnificent Mile we were staying at, and it was great to catch some of the NFL playoffs, grab a couple of appetizers, and relax with cocktails only steps from the elevator & our room. Full buffet breakfast & great appetizer selections.

Just had drinks here, but the prices were fair and the drinks good. Service was great. Good atmosphere. I didn't have any food, but the menu was diverse and reasonably priced.

If you are staying at the Hyatt Centric Mag Mile or just looking for a great breakfast experience, go to Level 2. The best part- Karina and Joel!! These two are all about service and consistently go above and beyond to make sure your meal and time with them is perfect. Even if you are just walking by, they greet you with a smile. Love starting my day with these two.

Arrived for a conference and wanted a glass of wine and dinner without going outside the hotel. Wow! Server gave excellent suggestions for wine and dinner was served quickly and efficiently. The mushroom risotto was tasty, reasonable and big potion sized. Had it for lunch the next day😀

I had a late breakfast that turned into lunch The beds in the room were so comfy that I wanted to sleep in. The deviled eggs were fantastic and so was the rest of my lunch. There were only 4 other people dining at the time, hotel restaurants have a limited chance to make money when they are not on street level. I am sorry but starbucks coffee is nasty and I cannot drink it. I so wish that high end places would offer a non starbucks coffee. Just get me some Folgers. Duh now I know I need to bring my own Folgers single serve...

I am usually travelling alone so I am not comfortable most times sitting at a table and usually sit at the bar for dinner. I always enjoy my time talking with Alex & Patrick as they are friendly and real people. They pour a decent drink and the food at this location is excellent. If you are a business man travelling alone it is a friendly place to stop to have dinner. I recommend you look them up.

Rooms dark but clean. Location for shopping and sites. Good Could not get temperate below 70 for most of our 4 day stay

The Level Two restaurant is an excellent option after a long and busy day. The food is always good with a major portion cooked on site and the staff is well trained. If you are fortunate you will catch Alex at the bar who knows how to make a good drink and take care of a Hyatt customer. I have never had bad service or food here. A nice feature of the Level two is that there are many seating areas outside the restaurant where you can order a glass of wine and enjoy while you read and relax.

A very varied menu, something for everyone. Pricing is reasonable, alcohol on the high side. Service prompt, responsive and friendly. Good hotel food.

During our recent stay at the Hyatt we had the opportunity to enjoy the brunch twice. From cooked-to-order omelettes to pastries to cheeses to fresh fruit to baked apples, it was all very good. Our family particularly enjoyed the hotcakes. On one occasion the service was fantastic. Every need was anticipated with water and coffee always at hand. Our second experience was the exact opposite with a rude waitperson who ignored us. I feel that the restaurant is aware of this and will work to rectify the situation. Everyone can have a bad day! (Just try not to spread it around, ok?) One evening we tried some of the appetizers with some drinks. The crab cakes were among the best we have ever had. Another evening we stopped in the bar to watch the Cubs (woe to us) and had fabulous service. We felt the happy hour prices were good as well.

We’ve eaten here three times during our stay at Hyatt Centric. Lunch and Dinner never breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet which is $26 a person which is steep for nothing exceptional. A la carte is also an option but nothing looks to be worth stopping in. Lunch and dinner are basically the same menu with a couple added entrees at dinner. We’ve tried the turkey burger- meh. Chicken club- good. NY Strip sandwich- good. Spinach and artichoke dip- good. Mezze platter- unique dipping options-good. Pizza- yuck. Steak frites w truffle fries- great. Flourless chocolate cake- yummy. Mac n cheese- meh. Prices range from $15 for appetizers to $25-30 for basic entrees which is steep. Sides are $7 and desserts are about the same. Waitstaff are the nicest employees in the Hyatt Centric. Keep up the good work and attitude!

Just returned from a trip to Chi-town staying at the Hyatt on St. Clair where this restaurant is housed in. Huge bar that offers Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm daily with discounted appetizers and drinks. Had lunch here on our first day staying, was delish, service prompt, but pricey (hey it's Chicago I guess)...shared the Spinach and Artichoke Dip and Cuban Sandwich and had a couple of drinks. Bartender was cool and personable, Cocktail server had a snooty attitude pretty much every time we were there throughout our stay. Had After Dinner drinks also one night with friends who are locals and service was very slow, took them 15 minutes of looking around to tell our friend they were out of Don Julio Tequila and server offered an alternative brand and swore it was "better" than DJ, our friend said "not even close". She never checked back on us or him to see what he thought about it. Had breakfast also, typical hotel menu, $22 buffet that we didn't partake, hubs had an omelet and I had the Huevos Rancheros, two coffees, the bill was $46. Server was very sweet.

We were quite impressed with the weekend brunch with a choice of a cocktail! Service was excellent, with Assistant Manager Angelica Garcia leading the charge! Our cocktails were colorful and creative. Food was picturesque, we indeed took our pictures with plate in front. It looked more like a work of art! Fortunately, it was equally tasty. It is a pleasure to be near Magnificent Mile and enjoy the Hyatt hospitality. We plan to go back when we go to Chicago.

A true gem at the Hyatt Centric hotel. We came for cocktails at night, which were delicious. Decided to return for lunch the next day. Absolutely wonderful service from the wait staff and the food delighted and surprised us. The soup was flavorful and delicious and the burger I ordered was wonderful. I believe it is a scratch kitchen, everything tasted home made and authentic with a great presentation. If I’m in the area again I will definitely return!

Level Two has a small menu, but it's packed with creativity and taste. The breakfast buffet in the morning is fantastic. Stop at the bar in the bar for happy hour and visit with one of the very friendly bartenders, who will make you feel right at home. If you stay at the Hyatt Magnificent Mile, you have to give Level Two a try!

Bar is very nice and bartender was great and serves amazing drinks! Only ate here once, friend had a seared salmon which he said was pretty good. And I had Steak Frites which was tasty and delicious.

This restaurant is in the Hyatt Magnificent Mile, on the 2nd floor, and I sat in the bar area. I was very disappointed in both the service and the food. While there were only a couple people there, I finally had to go ask a server for a menu, as they just ignored me. I had a couple appetizers, and they were absolutely nothing special at all, and I had to ask the server for a plate to actually put my food on! I won't eat there again when I stay at the hotel - just nothing special.

The waitress was very good however the food and drinks tried too hard to be interesting. While I was intrigued by both, the food was very heavy and needed more to lighten them up and the drinks had a lot going on but not everything seemed to mesh. I enjoyed seeing a very different brunch menu however nothing was really that great especially for a 50$ brunch.

Hyatt Centri Magnificent Mile Hotel. Nice place, comfortable but only one restaurant and that’s just fine! Staying here for a meeting and, although there are many fine restaurants in the area, I decided to stay in and try “Level Two Restaurant” and that turned out to be a great choice. I was there solo so I wanted eat and go. I was met by a pleasant waitperson and we talked over the menu. Many good options: Filet, Short Ribs, Salmon. I asked about the chicken pot pie and she said it was new to the menu and many had had it - very popular. I ordered that and roasted asparagus. Both were a pleasant surprise: fresh chicken pot pie with great smells followed by great taste. Chicken, roasted and cut into small segments surrounded by carrots, pearl onions, mushrooms a a cream sauce that was just right, not heavy but all flavors notable, flavorful but not in your face. The side of asparagus was roasted just right. Great flavor and crunch! Went vary well with the pot pie. Went down quickly with good smells and beautiful presentation. Great, patient waitperson. And to top it off, as I ate, a musician, Keith Scott, did quality bluesy blues on his guitar and had a welcoming, passionate singing voice. Would I come back based on service, quality food, comfortable surroundings? No brained: I’d be back in a heartbeat and would probably have that Chicken Pot Pie and the asparagus again. Great choice. Very favorable and with great service, great taste, great service and a cozy ambiance. Who knew?? We know now!

Nice décor but horrible service. We were sat at a bar table by the hostess who said the bartender would be our server.. sat there for a good 10-12 minutes and finally had to walk up to the bar to order the drinks. Overpriced. The brunch menu is very small and unimpressive.

Had brunch on Saturday at 1:00. I was very impressed with the choices. I had Chicken & Waffle which were really good-- very fresh and served hot. My friend has Eggs Benedict that was also very good. They served us mini donuts to start and mini desserts to finish. All of that with the unlimited Mimosas equaled a fantastic dining experience. Will definitely return for a relaxing weekend brunch experience.

great place to meet after work for drinks and light food. ok happy hour, but the time limit could be a little longer.

We happened to be in Chicago and decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at Level Two. I made reservations for 5:30 and was shocked to find that our party of 5 was the only group in the restaurant. As a result, we were able to choose the very special round booth in the center of the restaurant. My husband loved the steak, my daughter thought the veggie burger was great (but too big!), my granddaughter finished her mac and cheese with a side of asparagus, and I thought the flatbread with chorizo was very tasty (but too big to finish!) The garlic butter on my grandson's sub did not go over and our waiter gladly brought some plain bread for him. The finishing touch was a 6" birthday cake which the kitchen special ordered from a local bakery. By the time we were done at 7 p.m. several other tables had filled. The only problem I saw was that a conference was taking place at the Hyatt and the bar connected to the restaurant was packed with people when we arrived. The noise from their conversations made it difficult to carry on a conversation. Things quieted down when they left for dinner in an adjoining room.

This was a great place for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. The staff could not have been more helpful. Service was terrific! And, the best surprise was that the food was very reasonably priced. I had expected to pay much more at a hotel restaurant. We would definitely go back.

We visited for lunch during Chicago Restaurant Week and had a very nice experience. Choosing from the Restaurant Week fixed price menu, we each had the chicken tortilla soup, the pan seared salmon and the flourless cake. We expected a cup-sized portion of soup and were pleasantly surprised to get a large bowl portion. it was filled with shredded chicken, roasted corn and black beans and topped with sliced avocado, sour cream and tortilla strips. It was very thick and hearty -- more like a stew than a soup -- and quite delicious. We said that it would be worth coming back to have just the soup for lunch -- it was large enough to be a lunch all by itself. Next came the salmon. It was perfectly cooked, with a crispy seared outside and a moist interior. It was served on a small bed of veggies along with buerre blanc. The flourless chocolate cake was served with fresh blueberries and raspberries and a caramel-like sauce. Its interior seemed more like a mousse than a cake, but was very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Level Two is a bit hidden and signage is poor. It is located on the 2nd floor -- imagine that! -- of the Hyatt Centric hotel. You'll take the elevator from street level and when you exit on the 2nd floor, turn left, walk to the reception area, then left again to the end of the hallway. The restaurant is just beyond the bar. We really enjoyed our meal and plan to go back again.

Sat at the bar for a quick drink and snack before heading out on the town, service was great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the bar is relaxed and a great spot for great food and drinks!

We were here on a Travelzoo Voucher. Great Value for a fantastic Brunch. It was conveniently located in the heart of Chicago/Mag Mile. The only bad part, was Sunday Brunch does not begin until 11:30 am. It would be nice if it started a little earlier.

They have a very good selection of food and the eggs/omelets made to order are a nice option. The coffee is great too!

The Level Two restaurant on the second floor of the glossy Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel at 633 North St. Clair Street is the type of place where you just admire the surroundings and tell the waiter that you'll order later, after a few drinks. It's a beautiful sight. The restaurant serves upscale American regional fare and cocktails in an urban environment. Few people probably know it is here. They ought to know. They don't know what they are missing. Lunch was a real treat. For appetizers, my wife and I had deviled eggs, Thai sweet chili, Caesar salad and Brooklyn flatbreads, consisting of pepperoni, bacon and mozzarella. Delicious. For an entree, my wife chose grilled salmon. If I had a dollar for every time she ordered grilled salmon at a restaurant, I'd...well, you know what I mean. I opted for the grass fed Angus burger, lots of premium beef with aged cheddar cheese, bibb lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and house-made sauce on a brioche bun with fries and a big glass of Goose Island root beer. Is that the best burger I've had in a while? I think so. For dessert, we shared strawberry cheesecake and a berry tart. Look for business to pick up considerably at Level Two.

The food we chose was all excellent, and the staff was very attentive. Nice environment to relax as well. Mixed drinks, however, need more attention. We had to send some back, and when redone, still were not good.

We went to this restaurant because one of our breakfast group had a Groupon coupon, so we each paid $17pp, and boy was it a deal! I had the avocado toast with lox, and it indeed was a treat. Each order came with a choice of drink, and I chose a mimosa. We each chose a different entree, and we all thought ours was the best. We arrived at 12noon, and it was a great time, no hassle, not crowded, and no wait. It was considered a brunch menu but guest order from a list.

I ate both lunch and dinner at this restaurant as I was staying at their host hotel, and it was quite convenient. They have a nice selection of lunch specials such that you can get in and out in about 45 min. Their dinner menu (actually available all day) also has a nice selection of American fare ranging from elegant trout to steak and fries. Many of their sandwich options sounded great, but I did not have a chance to try them.

While we didn’t get to have a meal here, the drinks made a quick stop worth while. The bar tenders were extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I enjoyed a dirty martini, and my significant other called his old fashioned the best he had ever been served.

There is something for every one on the menu. From Entree Salads, to steak or pasta, to baked mac and cheese. It was our first nice and raining, so we wanted to stay in. Service was good and the food was delicious. We tried a few signature drinks made specifically in house.

My husband was in patient at Northwestern Hospital and I stopped here to get some pancakes for breakfast. He wanted comfort food, and the pancakes plus perfect, above and beyond service was just what the doctor ordered.

We had lunch here today and it was amazing! Butternut squash and winter pear bisque, wilted frisse and apple salad, ancient grains & lentil fillet, and red velvet cheesecake were all wonderful. Highly recommended. Presentations were amazing and service was excellent. If you don't eat here you are missing out!

The food selection is unique & the unexpected dessert tray is amazing & really adds value to the visit. The staff are always charming & the atmosphere & view, divine.

We used our Groupon to sample brunch. It included two entrees and a drink, making it a good value. The contemporary décor with warm earth tones and wood makes it an inviting and intimate space. The contemporary, colorful artwork adds to the uptown feel. The windows overlooking the street and the very attractive Red Roof Inn building suggests a true Chicago experience. We were surprised by the "appetizer" of fresh miniature Do-Rite donuts, made exclusively for the hotel and, unfortunately, not available at the café literally a two minute walk away. (It is worth a stop to get a couple full size donuts for an afternoon coffee break!) The bubbly peach bellini drinks made the meal special and set the tone for the very tasty entrees. The eggs benedict were served with a unique ham and just the right amount of sauce. The salad had plenty of fresh veggies and just the right amount of a piquant dressing to make it light and refreshing. The very contemporary art "dessert" was yet another surprise. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch, consisting of a miniature rich chocolate cupcake, and a smooth cube of pistachio mousse, with a touch of fresh fruit, carefully arranged and served on a custom plate that seemed to frame this sweet, cubist treat. The service was very friendly with pleasant conversation and just the right amount of attention. The extra surprise treats seemed to be a fun addition for the server, and was very pleasing to us both.

The variety of breakfast buffet is great, nothing from other world anyway. Typical Hyatt breakfast buffet. The service wasn't as expected, needs a little improvement. Personnel reflects some lazy attitude, but I can't generalize, maybe this was just one person problem.

Had drinks in the lobby a few times with my husband. They have a great happy hour from 4-6. The bar is nicely decorated and open so if I was a solo traveller I’d feel ok about having a drink at the bar. The service was fantastic. Great addition to the hotel.

We enjoyed the brunch buffet at $29.99 per person. Food was good, Staff was great. A la carte items also available.

This is a great restaurant and bar to grab a quick bite and drinks before hitting the mag mile or going about your evening in the city. The atmosphere is lovely and makes for a great time. The business lunch menu is a good value for the area and the live music some evenings is a nice touch. I love the comfy chairs that are perfect for lounging or conversation. Overall, a great place in Streeterville. Highly suggested for those with a day of appointments at Northwestern Hospital.

Waitress was pushy, drinks were weak. Not sure what the appeal is here. Didn't eat so I can't speak on the food. With so many places In the area - go somewhere else.

Although the service was friendly and the farmer's omelet and crab meat Benedict was quite tasty and well prepared, the recent changes made the experience disappointing. The peach bellini is no longer an available drink with brunch. When asked if it was possible to substitute our choice, the bartender agreed, but when the drinks were served they were mimosas. The most obvious change in the brunch was that the mini Do Rite donuts are no longer served before the entree. We always thought that was such a nice surprise...and so delicious. This brunch now seems quite expensive without the unique touches.

I used a Livingsocial voucher for this. BEST choice ever! The restaurant is actually in the Hyatt Chicago Mag Mile Hotel. It was clean, open and inviting. We arrived a little early so we sat at the bar and had a wonderful Bloody Mary. When we were seated they brought a small bowl of doughnuts. I chose the smoked salmon sandwich for my meal. Due to some dietary restrictions I asked for no bread and no cream cheese spread but they weren't needed! They were VERY accommodating! It was a beautiful presentation with a poached cage free egg on top of a large portion of salmon, arugula, tomato and red onion! Spectacular! I also had the Tee Time alcoholic beverage. Again SPECTACULAR! It is a small brunch menu but the choices are interesting and new. The server and the manager were helpful and knowledgeable. Even without the voucher I would go to this restaurant. The prices were very fair for everything.

We had breakfast and a late dinner there. The staff was very attentive. We tried the pork belly sandwich and lobster roll sandwich. Filling but too many sauces and vegetables made the delicious breads soggy! The lobster roll sandwich was good for a late snack. Very spicy but not much lobster in it.

The menu was okay. It was not terrible, just okay. No coke? How can you have a jack and coke with a pepsi? With the hotel surrounded by a ton of great restaurants, I would venture to Viand or other restaurants nearby. This is convenient for people staying at the Hyatt, as it is pricey.

We ate at the Level Two Restaurant because we had a Groupon. Food and service where superior and attentive. Location was weird and decor was hotel lobby. It was on the 2nd level of mixed use building that had the hotel lobby on the 2nd floor.

On Saturday, we had an excellent menu driven brunch at Level Two Restaurant. This is an open air space located inside the Hyatt Hotel and directly across the street from Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I recommend it for locals and tourists alike who are looking for a non-traditional menu that includes delicious meal and cocktail choices included in one reasonable cost. Almost forgot, they started us off with warm donuts and ended with a sampler of mini-pastries. WOW!

Everytime I stay at the Hyatt Centric after a long work day I make it a point to head down to the Level Two bar for a cocktail. The bar is very cozy and warm. Great views of the city! Not to mention some of the friendliest and fun bartenders in Chicago. Always good conversations and flirting with the bartenders!
Fast if you need it
This restaurant is inside the Hyatt on the second floor. Had lunch here, the santorini salad with grilled chicken. Told them I needed it was and they accommodated that request. Salad was very good as well.
