14 of 44 Bars & Pubs in Atlanta

We were not quite sure what to expect from this little gem of a restaurant in downtown Atlanta, but we were very pleasantly surprised!!! There was a group of 14 of us but the staff handled our group very courteously and efficiently! We DID sit outside, however, because there was not a large enough area inside to have us be together. That was our choice and it turned out better than we expected! The food was excellent and not that pricey. We will definitely go here again. Our waitress was very good and pleasant and very personable. I don't think you can go wrong with your dining experience here. The parking was FREE in the parking deck.....they gave us a parking voucher as we paid our bill and headed out. NO need to try and find parking on the street. Very convenient with the parking deck.

Dog friendly, great spot to watch football outside. Service was excellent and they have a good variety of food and drinks. Easy walkable location from many hotels and Lenox mall. Fun place!!

I recently had drinks with a friend at The Bucket Shop. I was impressed by how easy it was to park in their garage, since it can be a bit tricky to park in Lenox. The service was attentive and the bar staff were fun. The snacks were pretty excellent. We had pickle chips and wings. I highly recommend the pickle chips. Overall, this is a top-notch spot for a drink in Lenox.

My second visit to Bucket Shop was just as good, if not better, than my first! It's not easy finding affordable, good, dining options in walking distance in the Buckhead neighborhood. Don't pass this place up. A very inviting sports pub atmosphere with a huge outdoor patio (that is heavily used!). Again I sat at the bar and the bartenders are extremely friendly, and don't forget about you! Beer selection is excellent, but don't forget about the food. This place puts out some really great 'bar grub.' The entire week in Atlanta I ate at much more expensive places, but I keep thinking about this place. Nothing fancy, but really filling good food. THe dining area is inviting. I think anyone would be comfortable here. The patio seems to fill up with 'happy hour' business people enjoying drinks. Families would be comfortable in the dining area. Solo travelers like myself would be comfortable anywhere, but consider the bar. The staff here is great!

Stay at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center for the BB Hair Show. We got in late so we wondered what we could eat or get takeout. Well we googled places to eat and found this lil place least than a block awat. So we walked. Everyone was really nice and the food was great. Will definately go again.

It was a great sports bar and very popular for the big game! We couldn't get seating but the place was hopping and loved the environment and sports feel.

Drinks and food was good.. reggae Toccoa have good flavor, salmon mango sauce was good fabulous and onion rings were awesome nice and hot!!

Good food and drink at reasonable prices for the location. Feels like a neighborhood sports bar while across from Buckhead's Lenox mall. Friendly helpful staff. Good bar food. And burgers. Had the KMB Kobe burger which was quite good. Particularly good if you have a sporting event you want to see without the overwhelming crowds. God experience.

Food is good, not too expensive. Right across from lenox mall. Parking in the deck, then take the elevator up to the sports bar. Just know during football season, it's a Carolina Panthers sports bar. So, govern yourselves accordingly, and avoid the place if you don't want to deal with all of that.

Our go to place across from the Lennox Mall when we stay at a hotel in Buckhead. Very casual with a good selection of beers and very friendly and attentive staff

Dropped in for a late dinner on a Friday evening and we were seated immediately. The place is know for buckets of wings but, I had the fish tacos and they were simply outstanding. Along with a tap beer the meal could not have been better.

Jorjina was attentive and expertly mixed my Tanqueray Martini, truly hustles and is an asset to this joint. Jumbo hot buffalo wings were surprisingly actually "jumbo" and good, but Cafe needs to toss them in more sauce and for longer. Homemade kettle chips were awesome and at $3.50 per order they could charge much more for the amount that you get. Make sure to get some when you are there. A good value and I will return.

Came here because it was in walking distance of my hotel, and it was a pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy, but high quality, tasty food at a reasonable price. Especially enjoyed the buffalo wings!

I visited this bar and restaurant with some colleagues. The food was good, fair portions and great service. A great selection of different beers was available. I had the steak sandwich which was cooked to perfection. A little pricey for a bar but still okay.

I asked the hotel staff down the road if there were any places to eat that was late night. I was directed to The Bucket Shop. I was expecting just a sports bar with all fried food and burgers. Very shocked. I ordered the salmon and shrimp entree with sauteed spinach. AMAZING. Very upscale sports bar that is not expensive by any means. We went here a couple of times during our 5 day business trip. I cannot wait to go again and I wish we had one here in Nashville.

Burgers, fries - lots of choices in beer. We had a crowd and they were very accommodating - something for everyone.

Just finished up our visit for the Big South Volleyball tournament and wanted to give this place a shot based on our hotels recommendation. We had a large group of about 30 people with 11 of them being 14 year old girls. We called and asked if the could get us in on such a short notice and was told yes come on down. When we called we made sure and was very clear that we were with the Big South Volleyball tournament and would be bringing in a GIRLS volleyball team. Told us to come on in and they would take care of us. Needless to say that when we showed up after the 15 min walk we were turned away. Discriminated against based on age! The kicker is not because it’s a bar and serves alcohol but because they sell cigarettes! Last time I checked any kid can walk into any gas station alone and by something. I could see if they were alone but all the parents were with them. I can’t say anything about the food but I’d say they fail when it comes to communication!!!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and stopped in for dinner. The service was friendly and quick and I had a wonderful burger. They also have some outstanding beers. I expect to stop by this place any time I am back in the area.

Always ample parking in the parking deck. You could walk to Lenox Mall. Good service and a nice patio. Food isn't over the top- simple and honest. Never had a bad meal here.

Was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to eat here. Happy I did, for starters they have Bell's Two Hearted on tap, a nice taste of home down south. The food was very good, I had the fish tacos, would certainly get them again but so many other menu options looked great too.

Nice place with real american atmosphere. Decent menu with good amount of burgers and built my own with blue cheese, and jalapenos. Was realy good, good meat patty and amount of all with sweet potatoes fries and good ipa draft. Nice service. TV-screens all around.

Staying at the Buckhead Marriott for a business meeting and wanted to grab a quick low-key bite to eat. The Bucket Shop was recommended as a nice casual bar & grill which was less than a 5 minute walk from hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Our table had the fried calamari, steak sandwich, American Kobe beef burger, and buffalo chicken wrap. Quick service, Server very attentive without being overbearing and food was great. Level of noise wasn't too bad for a Friday night despite being busy so didn't have to yell across table to communicate. Would definitely recommend as a good casual place to visit while in Buckhead or around Lenox Mall area.

Several visits on from my last review, and the service seems to get less and less friendly or welcoming. Since there are a lot of locals who come here, you'd expect the staff to start recognizing them (especially since 70% of the customers are probably one-off folks from the local classy hotels trying to bag a cheap eat and a few beers). Sad to say we'll be finding a new "local" to go to, since there is nothing remotely appealing about returning again and again to a place that seems to make no effort to remember their neighbors. Service is fast but careless and not friendly. Smoking permitted after 3pm. Good selection of games on the TVs. Dirty tables, good bar food - no real healthy options.

Great service, good food, lots of drink choices. This place can be a little hard to fine if you're new to Atlanta but they offer free parking through ticket validation in a garage connected to the restaurant. It's definitely a corporate bar but the vibe is very relaxed.

its ok not the best location, patio overlooks a busy road, bar is in the bottom of an office block. Its not a really modern sports bar with huge screens and it didnt really have that cozy feeling either. For me, it served the purpose as i was on my own staying at the Marriott for business. Someone had recommended it, the beer selection is good and the wings were good too. its casual, so if you dont want those higher end pretentious options then its a good choice.

If you like fried and greasy sports bar fare in a cigarette smoke filled space, then you are going to love this place. If you like having a few beers while the person next to you at the bar smokes in your face without a care as to whether you mind or not, then you will love this place. If you like watching your sports on widescreen hdtv's with a standard definition signal, then you will love this place.

A very classy sports bar with excellent food. Our waiter was attentive with a great sense of humor. TVs everywhere. Beautiful woodwork through out.

Just a block from the JW Marriot where we were staying. Wife had a burger which was very good and I had a salad which was actually fairly large and tasty for a 'standard" side salad. Wait staff was very attentive. Nice outdoor patio area that has TV's... it's a Sports Bar. Dining room and Sports bar area are separated (right side for bar, left side for dining room). Overall, a good value. Went there after watching AL Crimson Tide defeat Virginia Tech. Had a good crowd (but not overcrowded) at 10pm on Saturday night.

Slow service. After 45 minutes of giving our food order, no food. Tables sat after us received food. One entree ordered, after waiting 45 minutes, we were told they were out. Manager then comes to table and apologizes with "there's nothing I can do". Really?

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is very close (less than a block) from the Marriott Buckhead. It's an inviting sports pub with a really nice outdoor patio. I dined at the bar. Service was attentive without being pushy. Draft beers are cold and fresh, couldn't ask for me. I had a black n blue burger and it was delicious. If you're in Buckhead, stay out of your car and walk. It's much easier to get around at rush hour times and this is conveniently located across from Lenox Plac. They do offer some salads too, but thats as healty as food gets here. Think burgers, wings, etc.

Hadn’t been here in years, and it was wonderful! An oldie but a goodie. They have stayed consistently good

First off you seat yourself, just an FYI. There was no one to greet us or tell us that so we had to walk to the bar and ask. Once we sat it took someone about 10 minutes to even come over and take our drink orders. We were actually about to leave when our server showed up. So the start was a Little Rocky. Once that was out of the way things got a lot better. Our waitress recommended great options as we told her it was our first time eating there. The food was pretty awesome. My friend had the waffle fries and didn't like them. I think that was her only complaint. This is definitely a place that I would go to again.

you can get everything you like in the Lenox shopping mall - watches, bags, clothes -all nice brands and god quality and good price

Good food and selection, great outdoor seating, good drink selection, staff very friendly and attentive on our most recent visit

Just don’t go! Party of 5 waited for service for 30 minutes. No server would stop by our table. Contacted the manager and he sent the server that kept bypassing us. She pulled up a chair and apologized, apparently she enjoys football and got caught up in the game. While not ideal, could have lived with her excuse if she hadn’t sat directly behind my friend and yelled the information. She didn’t pull up a chair and sit next to any of the other patrons. She was purposely rude and then stormed off when feedback was given. We left the restaurant. First time there and won’t be back. A lack of customer service blocked her from receiving a huge tip. Staff needs to do better.

We had a really great afternoon here, fun atmosphere and relaxed younger crowd having a good time. We aren't Auburn fans but most of the crowd was and they were having an absolute blast. It was fun to watch them in party-mode.

Tons of beer to choose from. Kind of smoky, but our waiter was cool. The wings from the next table smelled fantastic, but we had just eaten! Would stop in again!

Excellent bar style restaurant with quick turn for lunch. Reasonable priced and good variety. I had the blackened chicken salad which is excellent.

We stopped by to enjoy a cocktail or two...the bar atmosphere was nice, but the bartenders were running around and therefore, we felt rushed. We left.

Great spot in Buckhead. Prices are wonderful and food is always delicious. Bar staff is fun and interact with guests. My go to dinner spot when I am in town.

I stopped by here while on a work trip for a quick dinner. It was exactly what i expected, a cozy little bar with tvs that had football on. The food was suprisingly good; i got a salmon wrap and it was some of the best food i'd had all week. The bar tender was very friendly. The place was packed, which makes sense. I would recommend.

Friendly servers provided great service at the bar. Chicken wings were large and perfectly cooked. There is a good variety of sauces as well. Hand-shaken margarita was also well done. Located near busy hotels, so convenient for travelers.

Nice spot to unwind after a game or go to watch a game with other sports fans. Food was good and the wait staff was super nice and very attentive!

Our son likes to frequesntly go here and wanted us try try it for a casual Mother's Day dinner. We liked it. The wings are great.

Walk on over to the bucket shop. The food is great. I always get wings and we enjoy sitting outside on a nice day. The service is fair and just a nice laid back atmosphere.

Walked in with my son, whose 10 to a server walking us the other way because they don’t allow kids. It is on the website but I’m small writing above the menu button. She was beyond rude and made my son feel like he had the monkey pox. I understand their policy but there’s a way to do everything. Don’t give them your business, discrimination is wrong doesn’t matter in what form.

We felt welcomed and invited when we showed up on a Tuesday night. This is a sports bar, with all the TV's you would expect. The crowd is a little noisy and boisterous, but generally good natured. I liked the food and the variety, had the Buffalo Chicken Tacos, It has a little kick in the sauce. Onion rings were just OK frozen variety. Fresh local beers too! The bad, this place seems to be a pick up point for the local hookers, now I travel, a lot, and working girls are everywhere. But it was pretty obvious to me that there is more going on here than meets the eye. Saw two different guys get picked up by girls and move on out. Maybe that is why you must be over 18 to enter. That being said, is why I can't recommend this as a family restaurant.

Parking is validated at the bar otherwise the parking deck can get very expensive. Side street parking for free. One hour limit before 6pm. Or park across the street at the mall and walk over. Food = good. The chicken wraps are yummy. Salman sandwich is tasty. Chicken wings with sesame seeds is again tasty. Even the buffalo burger is tasty. Prices are reasonable. Clientele are local professionals. Business casual attire.

Researched the nearest restaurant near our hotel and this was it. While waiting for our complete party of 13 to arrive, our waitress was so kind and pleasant, helping us move 2 tables together to accommodate our party of 13. Perhaps I didn't read all of the reviews and someone else might have mentioned this but we were shocked and disappointed to learn that nobody under 18 is allowed in the restaurant or on the outside patio. Unfortunately, we did not learn this until the remainder of our party arrived. Needless to say, it was not fun to find another restaurant at peak dinner hour. Seems like they should post this simple fact on their chalkboard (underneath where it tells you to seat yourself, on the website, etc.).

I thought this was a nice late night bar to either get your night started or finish it off. The bartenders were fun and entertaining. I fell in love with the carribean jerk wings. The drink prices are what i expected for a well located bar in Atlanta. I stayed at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center which is a short distance away.

The is one of the best sports bars in the Atlanta area. Amazing atmosphere, great food, awesome service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this bar/restaurant to anyone or if you are looking for a kitchen that closes late, this is the place. Love it for everything described above and agree with other reviews on the Wings, they are the best!

This place was the perfect place for us. We finished a full day of travel with only crackers and peanuts to eat. The next day was a 7 to 5 meetings with conference food to keep us going. The Bucket Shop was a pleasant surprise. We did a late night look for something to eat. Our server suggested grits and shrimp. It was great. We had to go back the next day for lunch. My chicken salad was just right. I was worried right after I ordered because most chicken salads are dry. The chicken was cooked just right. The speed was a bit slow, but we still got back to our meetings on time.

We stopped here on a weeknight. They had a good crowd but we were seated very quickly. Our server was very helpful and the food was delicious. I was hesitant initially because the establishment looks like your average bar. However, those fears were unfounded. The food was great.

Lemon pepper wings are the best I have ever had!!!!!! Their bison burger is delicious with the homemade blue cheese dressing. Service is great!!!! Parking in the deck is free. Great spot!

Went on the night of football games. Poor service, Sat outside. Food fair. Not worth the trip. Loud and not kid friendly.

Kind of a sports bar theme but the food was quite good. I had the shrimp and grits and loved it. We sat outside and enjoyed the cool evening and received excellent service. Not a destination restaurant but if your in the area looking for good solid food at reasonable prices this place will work!

Went here for the first time with a friend for food and drinks. On a wait due to pandemic but did not have to wait long. Sat at the bar. Service was really good. Lots of great cocktail selections. Ordered wings and they were really good. Buddy got a burger and he said it was good. I ordered the nachos and they were not good, not enough chips, just did not work. Will definitely go back and try something else.

This is really the only casual sports bar left in the Buckhead main drag, so doesn't need to try too hard. The food is pretty good - fast, fresh and tasty. Sit outside for the nicest experience, inside is not so nice. Staff friendly and the only downside is the dreadful people who frequent it - college kids, loud sports fans, overdressed local hotel guests... where are all the locals?

We really enjoyed sitting out on the patio people watching. The food was good. The drinks were delicious. The staff was very friendly. Everything came in a timely manner. Location is great.

The Bucket Shop was a pleasant find. We walked out of the Marriott, turned right and walked a short block. Nice terrace dining, food was good and well priced. Friday nite drink specials were good and $5. A nice fined after a long day of meetings in the conference center.

The food is awesome and the wait staff was excellent, definitely planning to visit here again. The Fried Chicken Salad & Mozzarella sticks were soooo good!!

Went to eat after a trip to Legoland with our son. It was around two o'clock in the evening and the place only had about six people on the patio. We started to walk onto the patio and then a server rushed by and said "18 and up only" very rudely. Glad that we did not make a special trip to this place. I recently read another review that said that it was because they sell tobacco. That doesn't really make sense because they also sell alcohol which 18 year olds cannot purchase either. Either way, glad we did not eat there and we went to another restaurant.

If you ever want to feel like you are at an Auburn football game, then this is the place to if you cannot attend the game. Service is great, food is excellent. Plenty of TV's and outdoor seating. War Eagle!

Very casual sports-bar like feel. Pario is great when open. Wings maybe the best in Atlanta. Pricing very reasonable. Great spot to catch a game on TV or have a quick lunch/dinner. Worth a vist...can get crowded during NCAA football.

Hard to find, but was worth the search. Food was Awesome! We went during college football playoffs, so the noise level was pretty much through the roof. The server was very professional and even with the noise level, was able to manage our needs with top notch service.

Bucketshop is great. The staff are awesome and the food is amazing. They are unfortunately an auburn bar but we can look past that as everytime i visit I’m treated like family. The Siracusa wings are to die for!

Very crowded due to LSU vs AL game right before, but that was to be expected. Cleared out later so we could sit inside (outside had no heaters, unseasonable Nov weather for ATL but still should have them). Food decent and service good, seating not especially great (tight, not super comfy). Good TVs around to watch sports, lots of seats at bar.

Located on Lenox Rd, this is great place to dine or watch sports with friends. They have wonderful steaks and try the Jerk Chicken Wings. Must be 21 or older...

We ate lunch here and had a great meal. The homemade kettle chips are a must, they are yummy! The atmosphere is great too, love the patio!

Service was good, food was OK, but the place smelled like a soggy cigarette!

Lots of TV's, decent food and service, decent prices and daily specials on drinks and beer. Owner was friendly and we stopped by to grab a bite and a beverage and watch a game 3 days in a row. Most comfortable and down to earth place we found in Buckhead.

Randomly driving by and saw this place and decided to give them a try, I absolutely LOVE their food!! I recommend the fish tacos and the Lemonade on Lenox, very tasty. Nice atmosphere, can't wait to visit this place again.

This is a nice little sports bar with a mix of locals, business folk and hotel guests escaping their 5-star confines for a bit of casual drinking. No under 18s allowed, so it's smokers welcome except before 3pm on weekdays. Typical bar menu, but always tasty - just don't try and find too many healthy options. Draft beer fresh and drinkable. Often nice specials on draft depending in the season. Service ranges from OK to pretty good, can be a little slow but you'll get what you want.

Great neighborhood sports bar. Service is always good as well as the drinks and food. Burgers are some of the best in the city.

This was a suggestion from the employees at the nearby Marriott. Wonderful suggestion! Very friendly and very good service and food & drink. It is a highly energetic place but never so loud you couldn't carry on a conversation with others at your table. They also have a great outdoor area that has a good amount of shade. We had a late lunch with a few cocktails and everyone was pleased (especially since we walked out of the restaurant at the Marriott after sitting for 5 minutes without being waited on!). It is always a pleasure to be able to follow a recommendation and have it live up to the expectation.

There's really nothing special about this place. Typical bar, typical bar food. If you can, go somewhere else.

The food was good, especially the sweet potato waffle fries!!! There is a nice patio where people could bring their dogs.

Ate here with a group. The food was tasty - no complaints around the table. The service was slow. Would definitely go back!

The streak sandwich was a little weird the way the cut the steak in tiny strips. just have a burger and a beer and the wings
Good sandwich
Neat bar across the street from Lenox Mall. Looks like it has no parking, but there's a deck behind the restaurant. I called in a carry out, and got it pretty quickly once the dude who took my debit card figured out how to process the transaction. A district manager was on-site at the time, but she didn't offer to help him learn the cash register, but I digress. I got a Cuban and the homemade chips. Both were good, and I'll definitely eat there again.
