We had Sunday brunch and the service and food were both awesome! They had fresh sushi, oysters, crab, and so much more. The desserts were fabulous. It was a great experience, and I cannot wait to go back!

Our breakfast was delicious. I have to eat gluten free, and they quickly provided gluten free toast.

Our experience at the Cafe was wonderful. The food was delicious and the ambiance is calm, quiet and relaxed. This was something we appreciated after visiting several other popular restaurants which are loud and crowded.

Dinner menu was varied enough to appeal to different palates. Nice wine list with unique choices. Breakfast Buffet was terrific...extensive offerings. Definitely recommend!

We eat here regularly when we stay at the Buckhead ritz. The food is great and the service is perfect. Try the risotto it is amazing.

We had dinner at the cafe - it was deserted in the restaurant, which we didn't mind because it was quiet, but we decided they must have had the B team chef on duty. We definitely wish we had just taken a cab to any # of restaurants around. Service was fine, they just couldn't do much to improve the food.

I found that everything the Ritz does, is well, Ritzy, but the Cafe at the Ritz Carlton is actually a bargain for the service and quality of the cafe food I received. I visited the Cafe both in the morning and at happy hour time and noticed that the Cafe manages to balance both times a day as if it was meant to be at both. They seamlessly transitioned from Cafe to a Bar atmosphere. Service was a little slow on the second day when we sat a table as apposed to the bar in the evening, but the snacks and drinks were on point.

My husband and I typically enjoy eating at the restaurants at Ritz Carlton hotels because of the superb service, quality and taste of the food. Tonight we ate at The Cafe and we were totally disappointed. We started by ordering a shrimp cocktail that was terrible; the shrimp was tasteless and it seemed like it came out of a bag of cooked frozen shrimp. My husband ordered the filet and I had the tagliatelle with lobster. Neither one of the dishes met our expectations. The filet was about 1" or less in thickness and nothing spectacular. The pasta I ordered was horrible. The lobster did not taste fresh and the cream sauce that was on the tagliatelle was horrible ( it seemed like it was made with a seafood bouillon cube and it was sweet tasting) to the point I could not eat it. Our waitress was very friendly and there were plenty of empty tables at the restaurant. This place is a huge disappointment compared to the restaurants webpage eaten at other Ritz Carlton hotels. We will not be coming back, for sure.

Go to any other restaurant, a pancake house would be better than this restaurant even though this restaurant is much prettier than a pancake house.

Please allow me to preface this by stating these comments relate to The Lobby Lounge at the RC Buckhead and specifically to the bar menu. There are many options in the Buckhead vicinity of the hotel but when tired and hungry after a long day - and as a guest of this 4 star hotel - one might choose the bar for a quick bite and lovely glass of wine, before returning to one's room. I'll summarize this: club sandwich promises "oven-roasted turkey breast" and it is not. It's processed lunch meat. The accompaniment includes fries or "petite salad" - I chose the salad and it was inedible. The glass of wine was fine but - here's the biggest issue - sandwich plus one glass of wine equals $40 before tip. I know it's the RC but please dial up the quality for the price paid. And don't over promise on the menu description when I can purchase higher quality at the deli counter at Publix. Nothing great about this experience at all.

Huge Selection Well Cooked Food Great Service Shrimp Was Amazing The Best Cocktail Sauce I Ever Had The Dessert Bar Was Unbelievable Including Delicious Creme Brulee The Only Knock Was The Cost $ 75.00

The service was amazing, the food was terrific and the hospitality was top notch. A "to go" bag of yummy blueberry muffins made our day of travel all the sweeter. This was the suggestion of our waiter, and it seemed as if he knew us like we were family.

Laid back eating area with excellent service. Not bothered too early to get done with the meal but attention to drink levels.

Their menu is much much limited than in the past. Food is mediocre at best. Service is great. Atmosphere is very bland and generic.

If you eat breakfast in the The Cafe at Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, BE SURE to try the belgium waffles! Seriously, the best waffle I have ever had!!!

Good wine list. Not a very broad menu. Had the burger which was excellent. Got in late and ate at the bar. Friendly bartender. Seemed like a few locals at the bar. Pretty chill. Would eat here again, just wish they had a broader menu.

Had one of the best breakfasts ever in USA, job well done and perfect service. make sure you get there poached eggs they are perfection

So under expectation, understaffed and poorly trained. Eyes off they prize as Marriott bought SPG? Wrong orders for whole party ordering off the menu instead of buffet.

My boyfriend and I recently had the Sunday brunch at The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead to celebrate our anniversary. The spread is amazing. The selection included: a variety of smoked fish, omelet bar, shellfish, salads, Caviar, New York strip, roasted vegetables, eggs benedict, fresh fruit, pastries, and many other options. Guests also receive a glass of champagne or a mimosa, which is included in the price of the brunch. The staff was quite attentive, which is, of course, a hallmark of The Ritz Carlton properties. Our server was very friendly and made sure our coffee cups were always full. Unfortunately, we do have one complaint. We arrived for our noon reservation and were led to a table in an empty dining room that was separated from the main dining room by a partition and curtains. If I were to choose the worst table in this dining area, ours would have been it – it was dark and near a hall that led to what we believed to be a service area. To be fair, we were asked if the table was satisfactory. Since we are low maintenance, we said yes, assuming that the room would eventually be filled with other guests. About half way through our meal, we realized that we were still the only ones in the area. This did not change for the duration of the meal – in fact, staff did not even attempt to seat anyone this secluded room. We also noticed many open tables in the main dining area, which was beautiful and bright. After much discussion, my boyfriend and I realized we had purposely been placed in this room away from the other guests, and we tried to figure out what might have been the reason for this. We were dressed appropriately – my boyfriend had a sport coat and I was dressed in slacks. In fact, we saw many people who were not adhering to the alleged dress code and were instead wearing jeans and casual cloths. The only reason we could come up with was that we were not overnight hotel guests. While I am sure this is not the typical Ritz guest experience, the seating situation ruined our meal. For $58 per person, expected to be treated like welcome guests by everyone, including the hostess.

We were excited to have brunch at the Cafe at the Ritz-Carlton after not having visited for several years. We were not disappointed. I made our reservation a couple of weeks in advance, and upon arrival, we were immediately shown to a table. The atmosphere was very relaxing and happy at the same time. Of course, the cafe is lovely, and the brunch buffet was beautiful as well. All of the offerings were presented well, and the ladies I spoke with who were working the carving station and pasta station were delightful...service with beautiful smiles! The food tasted as good as it looked. I especially enjoyed the cheese grits and Eggs Benedict, and I have to applaud the fruit selection...varied and fresh! My daughter said it was the best cantaloupe she had ever eaten. If you find yourself in Atlanta on a Sunday morning, I highly recommend the brunch at the Cafe at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead. You won't be disappointed.

Only ate breakfast at The Cafe' but can say the servers, services and food was superior! Prices are outrageous but worth it. Would love to try dinner or maybe a special event.

My husband ordered a specific type of scotch, they tried to slip a cheaper type of scotch past him, but he caught them on it, and suddenly they had they one he asked for originally. Not a good business practice.

Loved the selection and the atmosphere and we didn't even have to leave the hotel. We had lunch and shared some of their great appetizers.

Expensive but lavish portions and excellent food combined with over the top service in a fantastic setting

This venue is stylish and comfortable with very comfortable furniture. The breakfast menu is excellent and the quality was also. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.

We enjoyed a late night coffee and dessert in the lounge/cafe area, it was awesome. Cozy and romantic for a Sunday night, plush couches and just a "mens" club atmosphere with dark woods and leather chairs and a fireplace.

The Ritz is changing brands next month and must want to suck it all out of my pocket now. The thanksgiving day menu had some choices but if you don't like pumpkin, sweet potato or cranberries it wasn't great. We have stayed here several times and eaten good meals but NOT again the price fix menu was $89 per person and it was not that good of a meal. Plus added auto 20% for two people. We have eaten much better meals in big cities around the world and paid much less. My mistake for not asking prices.

The salads and farm cheese plate were delicious! Fast service. Would highly recommend. They also have a great drink selection.

I hate to leave this review because it does not represent the hotel's level of service in the other areas. Although we've stayed at this hotel a number of times, this is the first time we have dined at the restaurant. We dined here for breakfast on Tuesday morning (12/27), and although there were not many patrons in the restaurant, the service was extremely slow. We waited 10 minutes just for someone to ask if we wanted coffee. Poor service aside, the food was delicious & cooked perfectly.

I do not know where the people who reviewed this Cafe ate? I was there Saturday and to begin with I could not understand a word the server spoke. I ordered a Ceasar Salad hold the anchovies and was told they were only in the dressing then found an entire on hidden in the salad. I could not eat a bite. Service was very slow and the food was very Marriott quality although my wife's gazpacho was very good. The decor.....well there is none unless you consider the large Walmart quality mirror over the banquet decoration. Why would a Ritz put an elevated bar height table in the center of a dining room. Fake scraped pre-finished hardwood floors replaced English woven axminster carpets? Who is calling these design decisions? HG TV? No white table cloths at a Ritz? No menu's in binders? I can only say Marriott has lowered the decor, service, quality of rooms and still charging Ritz prices? I hope I never see the place again and it used to be one of my favorite dining rooms in Atlanta for breakfast and dinner when I stayed there.

Had a disappointing high tea on Saturday. The waitress began by messing up making our pot of Earl Grey tea. She also constantly interrupted conversations and called two grandmas "you guys". Food was good but not memorable.

I am here at this hotel for a conference and spending a few days to see Atlanta. First parking is either by valet or self-park. Self-park is half the price and the lot is very nice and right at the hotel. It would be easy to do although I have opted the valet route. The staff is super attentive and there are many. Everything is courteously done and with the proper level if deference and discretion. Turn-down is every evening with towels reloaded and water bottles replaced. There is a coffee machine in the room at the Ritz now. The public space of classic Ritz and very well organized and maintained. The guests room is spacious but not large. Linens and the bed are all top end and super comfortable. Cleanliness is top notch. It simply doesn't disappoint. The meals at the conference were all done very well despite the buffet format. All again was excellent. The conference area staff members are at the same high quality. Everything regarding your need is attended to, most of the time before you have to ask. Delightful and a great service tradition as it should be.

Saturday morning breakfast. It was good and not terribly priced for the location. Eggs were cooked well, and I thought it was a good value for the price.

This is a review of the breakfast options at the Ritz Cafe. The food is great and the atmosphere is very comfortable to linger. They will bend over backwards to make what you like. I recommend the french toast. Sometimes they seem understaffed which can slow down service but it may be because so many people opt for the breakfast buffet. Also - while it is good, it is very expensive.

I had a late dinner after a meeting. While the menu was not extensive, it had enough variety. The crab cake was excellent, as was the service. When the martini came as the dirty variety, it was immediately changed and with the glass brimming.

This was a nice place for good bar food. Nothing all that special and it was not an extensive menu. But, the food was really good. Moreover, The service was attentive as awlays. My favorite part of the meal were the mini-baguettes that they offered. They were really quite special.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast experience after spending the night at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta, Georgia. Our experience didn't start well with a lack of greeting from the hostess. I expect more from a Ritz and our greeter just didn't deliver. She asked if we were having breakfast and if we were two. She inquired our last name but neither she nor our server used it. She did nothing but seat us, didn't describe the buffet or say anything about our server. Our server immediately approached us and offered coffee and OJ. Our servers Benjamin and Emeran were both friendly and attentive. The highlight of this experience was meeting Amos the omelet chef. Amos is very passionate about what he does and prepared an awesome omelet. He told us about the grits and suggested them telling us that he was proud that the Atlanta Constitution declared them the best of the South. We tried them and have to agree they were outstanding in flavor. Amos stopped by our table to ask us about the grits, we asked him what was his secret and he replied that his secret is love. I am always excited when I find someone who truly loves what they do and you can easily see that Amos is one of those special service stars who loves what he does. He has worked in culinary at the Ritz for over 29 years. Amos has a true spirit to serve and should be commended for his excellent hospitality. The buffet is $32.00 per person but everything sampled was excellent in flavor, the variety excellent with different fruits, berries, cheeses, meats included. The lemon poppy seed muffins were exceptional and very fresh. Amos made breakfast a great experience.

What a fabulous spread to start your day. Everything you could imagine and then some on their breakfast buffet. Service was superb.

Had a business dinner at The Café in March while in Atlanta for a conference. We were comfortably seated in the lower level of the Café and enjoyed a first class dinner with excellent service and wines. There were 5 of us and Tyler our waiter was top. From beginning to end, everything we had was excellent, artistically presented and timely served. The warm marinated/pickled olives with our cocktails were very good. The foie gras and the beef tenderloin were delicious too. Great desserts as well. Overall a very pleasant experience.

it wasn't too bad. Good for some quick food and getting nourishment. Of course, they have a great bar you can visit in the hotel.

Sunday brunch at any of the Ritz Carltons are a big treat for us. The Atlanta/Buckhead location costs $75 for the buffet. You can order the Bubble Bar (prosecco and brut sparkling) for an additional $15 per person. I visited this brunch on Feb 7th and it appeared that the staff did not expect or prepare for as many diners that they had. The carving station ran out of prime rib and salmon which took about 15 to replace. The sushi station ran out of wasabi. The cheese station was a bit of a mess. Our servers, though, were excellent. Anjay took great care of our table while attending to several large parties.

Though everything was fine, it is just your standard hotel fare. For a southern hotel you really need to kick your grits, biscuits, and gravy up about three notches.

When traveling to the South we often hear about southern hospitality. Few places epitomize this notion better than the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. Every time I visit Atlanta I stay here. Why? I stay because they are the gold-standard when it comes to excellence in the hospitality space. They go out of their way to be attentive to your needs and make you feel welcome. My last visit was no exception. One of the things I enjoy the most is seeing some of the same employees I have seen over the years. Although they have an excellent team, on this last trip my experience was enhanced by the excellent customer service provided by Mundy, Yehaula, and Kemoi. These individuals work in the restaurant and provided outstanding customer service. I was so impressed that I shared my experience with Brittany, the Food and Beverage Supervisor. Many times it's easy to find fault when we have a dining experience that is less than flattering. It's rare that we share our positive experiences with management. Employees like these is what makes this Ritz a special place. If in Atlanta, I highly recommend the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead. It's an experience I am sure you will enjoy.

Food is excellent and the staff is incredibly attentive. Just what you'd expect at a Ritz. A nice variety on the menu and worth trying if you want something very nice. It is pricey.

We went to the Ritz to celebrate one of our sons birthday. He wanted to experience high tea. It was very nice. The tower of finger size sandwiches, pastries, etc. were attractive and fresh. Don't be under the impression high tea is a meal, even a light one at that, but we came away refreshed, energized, and happy. The server was very knowledgeable about the tea, and all manner of high tea service. Apparently, they get newbies to high tea all the time. Service was great.

Now the ritz is merely ordinary. The food is a grave disappointment which we found shocking. I have frequented this ritz for decades but I will not go back anymore. Gone is the service and quality cuisine along with the cobalt. AVERAGE. Not good enough for ritz history. Who is running things now? Shameful.

Absolute attention to detail. From the sparkling tableware to the fresh flowers, everything is designed to make you feel like a queen. The food is lovely, just what you would expect!

My husband and I were staying at the hotel for a conference and were too tired to go anywhere. We decided to try out this restaurant because we saw on another app they had lamb on the menu. Turned out the app showed an outdated menu so he had the beef tenderloin and I had a caprese salad and lobster risotto. Even though the restaurant was right next door to the hotel lobby and bar, it was quiet in the restaurant itself. This turned out to be a great date night restaurant. The chef did an outstanding job and my husband could not stop raving about the beef tenderloin. It's a bit pricy but then considering our location in the Ritz Carlton Buckhead and out dishes, it was well worth the money. Our wait staff was attentive and very friendly. We wound up going back again during our stay just because of how well everything was delivered.

First the positives. The presentation is very impressive, as you would expect. Everything well done. The desert table was spectacular, all good treats and tasty. The charcuterie station was awesome, good selection of meats and cheeses and well laid out. Carving station was about what you would expect. The petting zoo was pretty cool cool. Goats, monkey, Camel, donkey, pony, pig, Kangaroo...not bad! The omelette station was a mess, took forever and the omelette was not appetizing at all. There was no cream cheese or butter for the bagels, toast etc...had to ask for it. The service was below average. Had to wait pretty long for drink service and refills. The easter egg hunt was a train-wreck, few if any eggs were out..in the 12pm group everyone complained, maybe a handful of kids got eggs. My two kids got one egg between them. They should just scrap this all together. For the cost $500 for 2 adults and 2 kids, this brunch is simply no where near worth it. Glad we tried it, but never again.

I ordered what they called a "hangar steak," which I had never heard of before. Apparently it's a strip of meat that hangs below a cow's throat. It was a 10oz steak, and that's the only negative thing I have to say about it. When it came out on the plate, it looked closer to a kebab than a steak, but it was easily the best tasting steak I had ever had. Ordered a side of "duck fat fries" to go along with it, which actually were a bit bland. It definitely had a price tag to match the amazing taste; this also happened to be the most expensive steak dinner I've ever had.

Excellent service, excellent drinks. The food can be very pricey but worth it and again, if you are staying here you can pay for it. The atmosphere is classy and has many different sitting options.

We were staying at the Ritz on a business trip in January and we appreciated being able to come back from a long day of work and not have to travel outside of the hotel to eat. Our first night we had an out of this world experience at The Cafe. The service was truly amazing and we had such a wonderful conversation with our waiter that at the end of our meal he left us a personalized thank you card. The food was also very good. It is not inexpensive, but seemed worth it to be able to stay inside and warm. We had a truly amazing cheese board for appetizer and the meals were memorable too. It did take a couple of leisurely hours to get through the meal, but we were not in a hurry. Now, the second night we returned because of our amazing experience the night before and they were really busy. This night the service was not as hands on and we were left waiting for long periods of time without anyone checking on us. We ordered dessert, but ended up telling them to remove it and bring our check, because after 2 hours of not great service we were ready to go that night. I think their problem was they were slammed at the lounge/lobby eatery and our servers were covering both areas and the bar was really slammed, which seemed to slow everything down even more. Wished had only gone the first night!

This restaurant— and hotel — no longer exists. If you’re look for the Ritz, try the midtown location.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast with my husband. I had the buffet (frittatas, fruit, omelets, potatoes, grits, pastries, etc...) and he ordered off of the menu. It was easy while we were staying in the hotel and we received excellent service.

It is hard to characterize The Cafe since the menu tends to veer from snacks to fine dining. No matter it seemed to do what we wanted fairly, albeit at a lofty price. We each had a steak and salad, shared a dessert and a bottle of wine. Price was over $200 but the meal was so relaxed and tasty it may have been worth it.

Had a wonderful dinner last evening. The service was excellent & the food was absolutely delightful, fresh, well prepared & plated excellently.

We went to the Cafe for a nice dinner with two teenage girls and their dance teacher, who were competing in a national dance championship in Atlanta. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the elegant hostess, Adrita Khanna. The food was excellent; flavorful and well-prepared,and the ambiance was calm and refined, as one will find in most Ritz Carlton dining areas. The service, however, was outstanding. We happened to mention that this was a special occasion to Adrita, who, we learned, is a choreographer and classical Indian dancer herself! At the end of our dinner, she surprised our girls and dance teacher with beautiful roses, and best wishes on their competitions over the next few days. We were so touched and pleased by this kind gesture. I would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the atmosphere and the food, but for the fact that we felt completely "spoiled" and well-cared for during this meal. Would return in a heartbeat!

We love the breakfast at the Ritz-Buckhead. The food is fresh and the presentation is wonderful. The servers are wonderful. But something happens at dinner time. It's like a Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde experience. We do not even bother eating at the Cafe for dinner and the Lounge is no better.

The fresh juices and fruits were wonderful. The pancakes my husband ordered were outstanding. He actually had gotten them from the room service menu one morning too. All of the stations had great offerings. The service was impeccable.

Upscale traditional dining experience. Excellent food from a not terribly large menu. Elegant classy setting, tables are well spaced for privacy. Very professional service. While not cheap overall, wines tend to be expensive

Only had time for lunch with family while in Atlanta. Glad we ate here. Excellent choices even on a limited menu. Service was. Excellent, friendly, and personable. Food was great.

Amazing Food, Personalized and Exceptional Service, Extraordinary Neat, Five Words. "The Ritz is the Ritz". Extremely Recommended 100 % and my Treasure loves his food and the crayons.

We had brunch after our wedding at the Ritz in Buckhead with friends some of whom came from out of state. They could not stop gushing about the quality and variety of the food choices. Service was attentive without being overbearing. We had an awesome time and I am glad we chose this venue. We will definitely be back for our next celebration!

Had breakfasts here every morning during our stay. There was a great selection of anything you could want and food was always fresh and delicious.

The Cafe at Ritz-Carlton has a staff that has been well-trained to a point where they are always there but never intrusive. We stopped in to have some after dinner drinks on a couple occasions and were extremely impressed.

We had the wine and food pairing at the Ritz. We were not prepared for so much food. You get a large portion of everything so you definitely get your money's worth. We have been to Woodfire Grill on several occasions for the wine and food pairing which is bites size portions. The Ritz does not skimp on food. The food was excellent and the wine was excellent but we were looking for that WOW factor that we have gotten from Woodfire. The chef at Ritz is excellent but the wine pairings could've been better and portion sizes a little smaller.

The restaurant was quiet and quaint. The staff were amazing, however, the food was just "good". For the price you pay, I expected a bit more.

I am so happy that I had lunch at The Cafe at Ritz-Carlton. The food and staff was everything. I cannot wait for my return stay.

Went with the family to the lovely Ritz Carlton Cafe on Sunday for the brunch and let me tell you, it has been one of the best brunches I've had, and the well trained staff you would expect from a five star hotel, this hotel has it. The food is excellent, the only thing I feel they can do a little bit better are the eggs benedict, but that's it, and for the price, I feel they charge you fairly for all you get. I fully recommend it.

Tremendous service and food, but there is certainly a premium included in the menu prices. Granted, if you walked into the Ritz, you probably expected to pay good money for great accommodations.

We were starving and didn't want to go out for dinner. Room Service to the rescue. We enjoyed the Cobb salad which was very large, the B.L.A.T (Bacon, Lettuce, Avocado and Tomato) sandwich and the kids had pasta and chicken strips from the kids meal. Even the fries were AMAZING!! What a great experience leaving us all with smiles and full bellies. Thanks for a great meal and wonderful service experience.

We spent three nights at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead over New Year's and breakfasted daily in the Cafe, always having the buffet. The price is substantial, as one would expect, but the quality and variety of the selections makes it well worth it. Especially great are the made to order omelets, smoked salmon and garnishes, and cheese grits. But whatever you want, it is a pretty safe bet they've got it on the buffet. Bring a big appetite!

Enjoyed breakfast several days, everything cooked to perfection. Especially enjoyed the accommodation for poached eggs and asparagus. Grapefruit presentation is over the top and so delicious!

A bit disappointed ,have visited the Ritz in London several times . This is a Ok Hotel but not more than that . Lack of the Luxury you feel at other Ritz Carlton hotels

Great Sunday buffet. Jacket required. I have been going to this restaurant for 20+ years. But it recently changed from Ritz Carlton management due to the Starwoods Marriott merger.

Went to the Ritz with 7 other ladies for High Tea on 7/9/16. Our server Amy was very professional and attentive. They were able to provide gluten free options as well as sea food only options. I recommend the Royal Tea option. The strawberries and cream should not be missed!! The jazz playing int he back was the perfect touch to an amazing afternoon. They offer FREE valet parking.

Nice place, There are not a lot of seats directly around the bar when travelling solo i prefer eat at the bar. after awhile i was able to get a seat at thew bar. My drinks were made per order and served at the appropriate time. I had a pizza and iut was timely and tasted fine. The clientele was both locales and business travelers. The live music was pretty good and the volume was perfect! I was able to have a conversation without yelling.

This is the best food and the most courteous and elegant service I have witnessed. The Ritz does it right. I will return.

My wife and I checked in and ate a late dinner here. Although we were tired and it was late, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was impeccable. My steak was prepared perfect. We were too full to try dessert but were more than satisfied.

I had dinner at The Cafe at Ritz-Carlton Buckhead with a few business associates last night. The hotel was very nice in every area except the restaurant. The salad was very good but the rib eye loin was just okay. The server did not bring a steak knife and did not come back to the table for a long time so I managed to hack through the steak with a butter knife (and no it was not tender enough that only providing a butter knife would have been intentional). Service was very slow and disappointing for all who waited patiently trying not to cause a scene in an awkward business setting. Desert finally came out and then coffee much later. Just a huge disappointment all around. Never saw a manager and no one ever asked how our dinner was. I am not one to complain as all my other TripAdvisor ratings have all been very positive, but this absolutely was not what I would consider a positive experience. There was also a 20% service charge automatically applied to the bill so I guess the server saw no need to provide quality service.

Well it IS the Ritz Carlton, very excellent! The food was great the service swift and friendly. Of course its not a cheap date, but if your going first class, this is the place. Valet parking, nice little souvenir shop. I enjoyed it, but can't afford to eat there too often. Pasqually "The Pizzaman"

The menu for lunch was limited and uninspired. The coffee and baked breads were really good. Service excellent and in lovely setting. And the food presentation lovely but the food itself was really average. With so many places in Buckhead to dine I suggest going elsewhere in close vicinity.

The food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was equally as great. the service was top notch - well done.

The decor is a bit outdated and dark but the food selection and quality was amazing. It's an all you can eat buffet with everything from breakfast and omelet station to sushi, seafood and caviar. On Sunday's they have a champagne bar from 12.30pm onward for only $15 extra

Four of us had dinner at The Cafe on Thursday night, December 1. As we entered the hotel, we were escorted to the restaurant and our table. The hotel is decorated beautifully for Christmas. We waited several minutes before our server approached our table. The waitstaff seemed to be busy, but from my vantage point I couldn't tell what was keeping them so busy, perhaps the restaurant was under staffed. Our order was taken and the first course arrived in about 15 minutes, which was fine. My wife's mixed green salad was tasteless and gritty as if the lettuces had not been rinsed. No one ever checked on us during the first course. Our friends had soup for their first course. After the dishes were cleared, our silverware wasn't replaced. When our entrées arrived, we waited several minutes while silverware was brought. That was disappointing. Although we saw about 3 different supervisors, the service just didn't seem very polished. Also, our main course dishes were not hot. I will definitely give The Cafe at the Ritz another try. Everything else at the hotel seemed to be first class. I would love to have a first class experience in the restaurant next time.

You get what you pay for. You pay a good bit here but It is all amazing. My brioche french toast was stellar. The bacon was top notch. My wife loved it all. Service was impeccable. Even my teen daughters commented on how upscale the service was despite being laid back. Nice job.

It's the ritz so the space and the service are amazing. Perfect really. The breakfast menu is good but a bit ordinary and the preparation is similarly average. There's nothing to complain about but they could use a few more original options. Still, it's worth a visit for sure.

We've had several brunches here and were happy with all of them. They provide many choices including eggs benedict, waffles, omelets, fruit, cereal and yogurt as well as numerous muffins and desserts. Coffee is delicious as well as the fresh juice. The biggest asset of the Cafe is the people. The service has always been great and the people so personable and nice.

I have stayed at this Ritz many, many times and am always a happy camper. The rooms are well appointed and have never looked “tired.” I typically stay on the club floor, which provides a nice selection of refreshments and snacks. It has always been well staffed should you require some adult beverages. The food in the restaurants and room service is always delicious. We especially enjoy the brunches, and have been particularly fond of visiting over Christmas. They have the most realistic Santa you have ever seen! The location is perfect for shopping. You can hop to Phipps or Lenox easily. I have often had a driver, which the hotel will hire for you, which is nice if you head to a restaurant and would like to imbibe, or if you have lots of packages from the malls. The staff at this location are excellently trained. They were even so kind as to open the store for me when my bags were lost so I could purchase some pajamas and loungewear. Very kind and very much appreciated. This is a perfect spot to stay the night before or after an overseas flight through ATL.

I had to meet somewhere real quick for a business meeting and this was the perfect spot! Not to many distractions the food was good and the people who work there are friendly and helpful! I'll be back for sure

Our group ate lunch and dinner in the hotel. With all the really good restaurants around us in that part of Atlanta, we were very happy with both the food and the price and since it had turned cold, it was very convenient also

Not being a fan of buffet brunches, theirs is an exception. The focus is more on quality than quantity. While expensive, the Champagne bar us a very nice treat. They have the standards like omelets, waffles, carving station, they also have fresh chilled seafood, caviar and blini, sushi and well prepared entrees and desserts. The service is great and this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion.

This is another in the Atlanta series of very luxurious and Lovely settings, live piano, more than excellent service, beautiful prepared and fabulously rendered vast food presentations, BUT the food was really UNINSPIRED with weak mundane tastes. The seafood bar had small oysters with some grit and sand, the crab leg pieces were very small pieces, not much to eat. This was a weak spot. Shrimps looked good. From the caviar to the prime rib, it was a flavor disappointment. ALSO, My spouse's litmus test is if her hands swell up the next day and sadly she could not get her rings on or off the next day. MSG, salt??? Something! Be prepared to not hear much over the cavernous rooms and their din. The noise is so predominant you could not hear the music or each other. The food dispensing station lines were short except for the 2 carving stations, Salmon and prime rib and Turkey and lamb. Where there were about 15-20 people waiting at any one time. My wife did not care for the salmon and I thought the prime rib although nicely presented was "pedestrian" dry and a major let down. Desserts were beautiful but quite blank tasting. The breakfast bar was quite standard, like a good Holiday Inn Express free breakfast or a good Marriott Hotel free breakfast bar. Nothing special except the 'omlettes to order' which nobody in our party tried. Coffee was very good, service absolutely impeccable. Be prepared to pay a premium for this meal. $109 per adult, $79 per child. Plus tips (very top service level,) alcohol drinks. We were 6 adults and 2 grandkids 5 and 6. Our bill was about $900. They did NOT charge us for the children who had one pc. of chicken tender each, so we did ok there. There is a kids section with xbox and kid foods. nice touch. Valet parking, easy in and out. Bottom line. Would we come back? No, probably not. Would we recommend this Thanksgiving Brunch to our friends? No, probably not.

This is a smaller Ritz property which was actually nice. The bar is really cozy and the service is great. This cafe offered good food and they were pretty quick.

My wife and I dined here on a recent weekday evening. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service was outstanding! The food was good, but not so unique that foodies would rave. Except for the wine list, which we found a bit pricey, costs were in line with the experience.

Went to the Cafe at the ritz Carlton Buckhead with a party of 11 people on a Saturday night. We had a reservation. They have a semi private room for a larger party that is very nice. The food was delicious. However the service was slightly disappointing. Small details like a missing bread plate, waiting on water, missing French fries on an order, and long wait time for food was less than the perfection you might expect from the Ritz. The live music is a nice touch. They do have a great kids menu and brought out the kids meals first.

I did not stay here during my last trip but did make use of the very nice restaurant adjacent to the bar for a quick meal and meeting. Friendly staff, great service, and the central Buckhead location makes this an ideal place for a meeting over a meal with expected Ritz Carlton service and environment.

Nothing spectacular. Staff are great, but food and ambience I experience all the time at more reasonably priced hotels.

We went for the Father's Day Sunday brunch. This was a very standard, run-of-the-mill brunch offering and it cost us $240 for two people (buffet and tip, no drinks or extras). It should have cost less than 1/3 of that!! There was no lobster or jumbo shrimp or anything that would justify the price. Mimosas weren't even included (they were $15 extra which we declined....) It was packed, so they obviously making a killing, but I can't imagine why anyone who has been would return.

Service is great, also the Sunday brunch is excellent - if you are eating dinner the Risotto and home-made sodas are excellent!

My wife and I had dinner here last nite and it was really good. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Portions were a good size and not too pricey. We really enjoyed the pimento and hummus for app, the burger and a black pasta with crab! The bread is also fantastic!

Enjoyed the buffet for breakfast. They offer made to order waffles and omelets, smoked salmon, bagels and cream cheese, grits, fresh fruit, pastries, etc. It is expensive though, about $37 per person.

Breakfast with a smile I had the ham and egg croissants excellent Fresh pineapple ,dew melon ,cantaloupe very fresh and tasty Service is outstanding Atmosphere very nice

I made reservations for breakfast with a close friend who was visiting from out of town. I requested a nice table where we could talk and enjoy a quiet breakfast. I was very impressed that the host was familiar with my request when we arrived; we we personally greeted and he welcomed my friend. The service only got better. I asked for fresh ginger tea. Although it was not on the menu, our server Anjay was kind enough to brew a pot with fresh ginger. It was PERFECT. The egg white omelettes were excellent and prepared just as we wanted. Great selection for those who like to eat healthy or gluten free. Anjay could not have been more accommodating. Thanks to him, our breakfast was extra special and very memorable. I was once a regular guest at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead until I was very disappointed in the tea service (and a rude manager who is no longer there) several years ago. This was the first class service that I recall prior to that experience and I am happy that the Ritz Carlton I once knew is back again! Best breakfast service ever! This is the Ritz Carlton standard I was accustomed to. From the parking valets, to the lobby staff, our visit was wonderful. The lobby is beautiful. For those who appreciate excellent food and first class service, a visit to The Cafe at Ritz Carlton Buckhead is a must when in Atlanta.

All the food was well prepared and seasoned. Many chefs rely on salt, which we dislike, not this one. Great dishes.

Don't miss this breakfast buffet - omelets to order, wonderful waffles, and everything else you would expect to eat for breakfast. If you stay at the Ritz, you have to eat the breakfast or it just isn't a perfect stay!

I was hungry and would have eaten anything so I decided to play it safe and have the Angus burger. It was small, overcooked, and tasteless. I waited 15 minutes for ketchup. Very disappointing. They were not busy just neglectful.

Hubby and I read about the Ritz brunch. Their website says this: •Chilled seafood including crab claws, oysters, shrimp and mussels; smoked fish; three types of caviar with traditional garnishes; and sushi •Local and imported cheeses and charcuterie; antipasti, cold salads and fresh summer fruit •Traditional breakfast favorites, and omelets made-to-order at a chef’s station •Chef carving stations with roasted meats and fish, vegetables and pasta •Artisan jams and jellies, freshly-baked breads, muffins, croissants and bagels •Our pastry chef’s unrivaled selection may include pies, cobblers, tarts, cakes, pastries, cookies and candies Well, we showed up and guess what. It was a regular brunch with omelet station and smoked salmon and veggies and fruit. *yawn* Highly disappointed. Asked the server about the chilled shrimp, oysters, etc and he said simply, "We do not have that on the buffet." No explanation or reason. So it was a wasted trip.

We had a reservation and our night started by waiting far too long for someone to appear and even ask our name. Finally seated, the cafe was less than half full. It took a long time before someone took a drink order, then the same for a food order. My husbands meal came out a full 5 minutes before my meal was delivered. We had to interrupt our server from a long conversation he was having to even get our check. I will say that once we did get food, it was pretty good but the service was FAR what we would expect from the Ritz.
Expensive but DIVINE.
I am a foodie. No joke.. Food is my favorite hobby. So for me, food is paramount to ambiance, service.... Etc. the food at The Cafe is excellent. Tonight I had the apple and kale salad.. The mine didn't say the apples were poached.. I was considering not getting it because I didn't feel like crunchy apples.. But it was temping anyway so I got it and was sooooo happy. Then moved on to spinach pasta tortellini with eggplant and goat cheese stuffing with some type of mousse and butternut squash purée. All topped with salmon caviar. OMG. My husband said it best, "the flavors of that are so unique and they keep happening even after you swallow!" It was special!! Delish. The staff is impeccable. Service is fantastic. It's expensive, but it is at The Ritz you know!
