Their pizza taste exactly like they make it in Florence Italy along with the rest of their Italian food It make you feel you're in Italy it's just too bad that they don't have a place here in Lake Havasu Arizona their business would blow away every fast food that ever has been they would even blow away little ceasers

Didn't disappoint. We were eager to try it after seeing it featured on Kitchen Nightmare. Surprised our kids when we were in LA area as it is their favorite episode. Restaurant is unpretentious and inviting. Really delightful owners that serve great food and who would love to see more new customers. Garlic knot sliders were fantastic. We all enjoyed the salads and pizza too. Give it a try.

The Capri is a warm and inviting wee place in Eagle Rock and the food is wholesome and delicious! Jim and Jeff always make you feel welcome.. It's like visiting family when you go! Love it!!

These guys are not informed of the fact that people DO have meat allergies (there's even a tick causing people to be allergic to meat and unable to consume it). That being said, I ordered an eggplant parmigiana sandwich - they gave me chicken and then yelled at me, claiming I ordered it. Being that I am ALLERGIC I know for a fact I did NOT order chicken (I hadn't been able to eat it for years). They were rude, unruly, disrespectful and forced my boyfriend to pay for the soda when we decided to get up and leave because they wouldn't rectify the problem and give me an eggplant parmigiana. Gum under the tables, dirt everywhere - this place was a complete nightmare. I'm sure their kitchen was no cleaner. Also - they shouldn't yell at paying customers when THEY mess up. It's trashy and wrong on their part.

We do enjoy going to eataly. This was the first time timing at the restaurant. The food was good. The ambience was marginal. Our waitress was semi attentive. Semi limited menu. I’m Italian and I can honestly stay. I’ve had much better pasta at a variety of other restaurants.

We visited this place earlier whilst on holiday in LA. The owners are great guys and very welcoming. They sat and chatted to us throughout our visit but were not intrusive. The food was tasty, plentiful and a good price. I’d recommend this place if you’re in town. Smiles all round!!

Waiter threw my pizza at me and repeatedly called me fat and then handed me a salad!! Won’t be back my family is traumatized.

Not bad. Not great. Owners are friendly, but very socially awkward and uncomfortable. They use weird words when you ask a question or order something. If you ask for a pitcher of beer they might say "that's marvelous" or something weird. It's not quirky or friendly- it's odd. They said weird stuff to all the tables and they speak way too loudly. Garlic nuts are decent. The garlic cloves they serve on the side are good but served very unattractively. Pizza- not so good. A bit dry and flavorless yet still edible. Pasta entrees were so so. The meatballs are a bit rubbery yet they have an oh kay flavor. I found the sauce to be sort of ...ehhh...it seems sloppily made- the consistency is kind of choppy. it's neither smooth nor chunky. it's just a bit unattractive and the flavor is oh kay. This is definitely not the worst place in the world at all, but I wouldn't spend my $$ here if I were you either.

Food was grand, improvements since appearing on hells kitchen have been met. The wee guys who run the place are hilarious. Can’t wait to go back.

Well, I have two reviews. To begin, may I say that we had a wonderful time on Valentine's Day. We wanted to go somewhere unusual for a date, we had seen season 3 episode 8 of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey, and so we had to check this place out. The twin owners were great, the price of the evening started at $50, and it included a bottle of wine, a pizza, a pasta dish, a dessert, and an appetizer. What a deal! What a fun venue, and what a memorable moment for us, as we felt like we were not strangers there. This evening was great, but was it all our rose colored glasses that made it so, or was it a great restaurant experience? Well, a little of both. We liked the garlic twists, but they could have been more garlicky and buttery. We didn't hate the pizza (it was heart-shaped for crying out loud!). But it was without much cheese and looked more like an arugula salad atop a thin crust with citrus something squeezed atop. It didn't taste bad, just didn't knock it out of the park. Still.... In any event, the spaghetti and meatballs came along, but they must not know you have to cook pasta in seawater, since it was rather bland; nice and noodly, just not flavorful. And the meatballs, after all the hoopla on the tv show, we expected to be stellar. They were not. They were dense, not awful, but they might have gone back to the frozen ones they used to use. I dunno. The actual salad (Ceasar, I think) was not terrible, just not delicious. We liked having some veg, but it needed some more vinegar or seasoning, or something. It was like a lightly dressed lettuce, not much different than the pizza topping. They supplied us with a whole bottle of wine, and it wasn't bad for a table wine when eating Italian grub. Heck, if you went to a snazzy joint, the wine could cost as much as this whole two-person meal. We were finally served a Tiramisu to go, which the wife thought a bit soggy, but which I thought still nailed the flavor expectation. So here's the deal, the food needs more seasoning, and if it got that, it would be just about perfect. The venue is nicely neighborhood, and the value is off the charts. The twins were gracious and pleasant, and the fame of the place made the whole thing a very happy experience. I hope they read this, and that they understand that we want them to be great. They need to kick the flavor profiles up a notch, but they are most friendly, most generous, and I can't say much if anything unhappy besides the few bits I've already shared. I suggest you see the tv episode, then go pay them a visit. At least once! Hopefully more....

I've been going to this restaurant since I was a young girl. Every time I come to LA, I have to come back. Jim and Jeff are quit a characters. They are the owners and they will remind you the Alice in wonderland twins. Ha! They have always been very friendly and funny. Chef Gordon Ramsey from reality tv show Kitchen nightmares, went to this restaurant to make a whole renovation. I knew the place before that. Itwas good before the show and it is good now, maybe better, they have a better menu, more simple. They added salads, they kept the clam chowder (only on fridays) and they have a very good, thin and crunchy pizza. Last time I had half veggie lovers pizza and my family shared the other pepperoni half. It had a lot of vegetables: onions, mushrooms, red and green peppers and olives and a lot of pepperoni too, delicious! Great cheese also. I have also tried the pastas and breads, they are very good too. I definitely will keep going back! Love you guys!

Close to home, so tried it out. Great meal. Excellent spinach salad. Great pasta. Pretty good thin crust pizza, especially the Margarita.

Amazing food and the service was out of this world I felt like I was being served by someone I've been friends with your years Great work guys I will deffently be back seeing as I cant get a flight home anytime soon Tom

Love the pizza there. Great old school atmospher. The beer pitchers are nice as well.

Terrible service. Food was cooked haphazardly and when we try to tell them that their food was soggy they just dismissed what we said. My partner ordered egg with her brekky and was cooked raw when we asked them to just cook it again they served it overcooked with dirty oil all over the egg. Again when we told the waiter about it he was very arrogant. It is disgusting how they treat their customers. Very poor customer service and the worst food. Sebel should be ashamed that their affiliated with the people who runs this restaurant!!! I dont usually give reviews but people should know how bad they treat their customers.

The restaurant is absolutely lovely, the servers seem happy and good at the jobs. The twins are funny and the meat balls are amazing even my nonna approved of them. I can't wait to visit again.

Because this restaurant is close to home, I have frequently gone there with friends. It was always just 'Okay' unitl they made some major improvements to thier menu selection. It is now one of my favorite places to go for antipasto salad and thier cuban pizza. Very thin crust and tasty you are satisfied without feeling stuffed.

The resteraunt has amazing food and the twins who run the place are hilarious and have great personalities, the kitchen nightmares episode was emotional and inspiring and I’m so glad to see how amazing they’re doing and how far they’ve come and im completely gutted (sad) that they’re selling the place, but it was so they could look after their mum and dad so it a wholesome reason so for one last time, what do we have? HOMEMADE MEATBALLS!!

My family and I went to The Capri during our trip to California after seeing it on the show Kitchen Nightmares. We LOVED it, the owners were great and the food was amazing, I suggest you try the herbed chicken and fingerling potatoes! I recommend this restaurant to everyone :)

Quiet little neighborhood Italian restaurant run by twin brothers. Simple but tasty, and also fun. Pizza, spaghetti, cheap red wine, it's all good. Oh yeah, don't forget the garlic knots!

We were in the area and were in the mood for pizza and salad. The lads at Capri Italian hit an absolute home run with lunch for us this past Sunday. The chopped Italian Salad was outstanding, perfectly dressed and seasoned with delicious salad dressing. The Pizzas...top notch, generous toppings, reminded us of the style of pizza we had in Tuscany or Firenze. Jeff-Jim, Jim-Jeff, J-J....kept us amused with great conversation and stories, wish we lived in this neighbourhood to be able to call and have this Pizza weekly! Well done Jeff and chef, bravo!

I used to go to this restaurant from time to time before Gordon Ramsay went there and straighten these people out. A couple of really weird twin brothers on the place and just couldn't get it together for the longest time. It would take an hour and a half to two hours to get a pizza or any other entree and they usually arrived cold. Now that Gordon Ramsay got them fixed up they tend to be a lot better place but still has problems with service and the owners haven't gotten less weird. Probably not my favorite Italian

Definitely a quaint place, though I think the food could be even better. The pizza is flavorful, and the clam chowder was satisfying, and the salad was rather big, though i think I could have made it myself with the stuff I buy from Costco. I did like that there were TVs to watch sports. This is first time that I actually ate at a restaurant that was on TV (Gordon Ramsey came here for KN), and I happen to buy a restaurant.com certificate. I got to shake hands with one of the twins, Jim. Also, the waitress that served us was also on the show. While I don't think it would be my favorite place, if I got a deal I would probably come back to eat here.

We stopped here for lunch and were surprised to be the only couple there around noon on a Thursday. After being there a while, we realized that many of the orders coming in were take-out orders. The place is small and rustic looking. The Capri Specialty Salad was delicious! Also had a pizza with pepperoni and sausage and were happy with our choice. The pizza is delicious on a thin crust with plenty of cheese. We topped this with a 1/2 carafe of chianti wine. We will probably eat here again or order take out since it is not far from our house.

We went down to Capri Italian for a meal as we had seen in on Kitchen Nightmares and really wanted to meet the owners. We went down on a week night, quite late on. There were a few people in eating when we arrived. We were greeted by one of the owners as soon as we came through the door who sat us at a table near the counter. We met the lady sitting at the table next to us who we started chatting too. The owner took our order of drinks and came back to get our food order. Once we had ordered he started asking where we were from etc, We then met the other owner who was also very attentive and asked about us. Once our food came there was nobody else left in the restaurant so we sat and spoke to the owners and our new friend that was sitting at the table beside us. We sat there for 3 hours talking and having a good laugh with them. We went back again at the weekend when they had a comedy night at the end of the night which was also really good. I had one of the pizza's the first time i was there which was good but the second time i had Lasagne and it was amazing. Also got the biggest table salad i have ever seen :) was very tasty though. Met some more great people. We are heading back to LA again this weekend and will definitely be going in to see our new friends Jeff, Jim & Yvonne :) Love this place.

Good. Hard to compare with Casa Bianca in town tho. Nice vibe and fun people.
A MUST visit if you are in or around LA - Outstanding
We are from England and having seen the Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares episode a few weeks prior to our holiday, as we were staying in LA for a few days we really had to come and see and taste for ourselves as meet Jim and Jeff the wonderful hosts and owners of the restaurant. Our visit was lunchtime on Sunday 21st August 2016 and the place was virtually empty when we arrived (just past mid-day). Both Jim and Jeff were extremely welcoming and whilst the décor of the restaurant was not that of a high class place in LA, the food was most definitely up to par with any top end Italian. We had pizza and lasagna between the four of us and could not fault any of it, it was fantastic. The place filled up with diners within 30 minutes, a football team arrived along with a large family of 12 who booked the table within minutes and the place was buzzing, but Jim and Jeff still found time to chat with us and pose for a few photographs before we left around 90 mins or so after we arrived. One of the highlights of our holiday, and will definitely make a return visit if we are ever in the area again. Thoroughly recommended :-)
