Enjoyable meal

By Jeffrey R |

I hadn't eaten at a Cheesecake Factory in a while. This was close to the hotel so I gave it a shot. It was close to empty on a Sunday night. My burger was fantastic, and the service was great.

Not what you expect

By Bintheloop |

There was a reasonable wait of 10-15 minutes. We waited that long to get our drinks, longer to place our order and at a table of 4, our food couldn't even come out together or complete. The fries with my sandwich came after I had already eaten 3/4 of the sandwich. Thankfully an adjacent server was watching and helping or our tea glasses would have stayed empty. It even took 15 minutes to get a piece of cheesecake. It has been a while since we dined here and it looks like that tradition will continue.

Really good

By marcog612 |

Service and food are great, and the desserts are just perfect, you won't leave this place with any more space in you. It is very comfortable and nice to share with family, romantic or with friends, the music is not loud, no major distractions and great service. Highly recommended.

Never disappointed with this place

We like this place because the desserts, we also enjoy the ambiance, great customer service and the food is specially delicious. we recommend this place to anyone.

Poor health and hygiene practices.

By Jodi |

Very poor health and safety practices. Less than one third of the tables were in use yet they did not space out the patrons. I asked to move tables to get 6 ft away which they did. Then just as our food arrived they seated someone immediately next to us again less than 3 ft away. They did not change the plates or silverware after we moved and set a poor woman where I was sitting. I breathed over her plate for 10 minutes before moving. My server set our dirty plates on the table next to ours which was clean already set with plates silverware for next customers. Forget Covid practices they don’t even follow basic restaurant hygiene.

very very good

Excellent place for lunch or dinner, with family, friends or alone. The food is tasty, I recommend the mushroom soup and orange chicken. The cheesecake is so good. And a very polite waiters.

Very Good Food, Great Service!

By Wombat21 |

A nice visit to the Cheesecake Factory at Memorial City. The food was normal Cheesecake Factory fare, but tasted very good. Our server made the visit memorable. He went out of his way to make my husband's birthday an event. highly recommend the Louisiana Chicken Pasta. It must have thousands of calories in it, but it is SO good!

Busy restaurant with huge portions

By Mark R |

Very busy restaurant next to the Memorial Mall. Huge portions across a wide range of foods - burgers, sandwiches, steaks and so on. The cheesecakes are amazing, but are massively filling, especially after a main course.

Noisy but dessert keeps me coming back

By Dean M |

We really enjoy the food at Cheesecake Factory. The large menu has something for every taste. We found service at this location lacking. We often had to look for our waiter or ask another waiter. The large outdoor patios are quiter and nicely appointed with soft seating. In cooler weather there are even heaters to keep you warm.

Disappointed witrh the service

By AIWIW |

Our orders were mixed up with other patrons. 2 out 7 orders were messed up with servers bringing incorrect food. Some of the dishes were not good..

Plenty of food for the moeny

By Magic Man Mike |

This is a must stop on our list when visiting the Memorial City Mall. Food, staff and facility are always great. Get there early to get a seat or you will be waiting. Our wait was within an a 20 minute time frame. And as always you must get a slice or two of their finest cheese cake!

Why the Crowds?

By Kathy R |

We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy, but they had plenty of staff. The service was Extremely s..l..o..w.. and it took forever to order and for the food to arrive. I ordered a burger with seedless bun. FINALLY when our food arrived, mine had seeds. The waitress said, "no problem, we'll fix you another" and took it away. After 25 minutes, the manager comes out and says, "would you like us to put your meat on a new bun. I ended up not even getting to eat as my party had long finished. We won't return.

Yep subject says it all. So does picture! Online order. Called in and Tried to talk to manager, waited 20+ minutes. Called back a second time to ask for manager and staff was very unhelpful.

A unexpected disappointment!

By Amy S |

6 of us met at 530 for dinner on Sunday. We elected to sit at high top tables in the bar area. No one came to wait on us. When I asked for menus, we were given ones that were filthy with wet foot particles on 3 out of 6. Then, another person brought us 3 bread dishes and 3 sets of silverware with napkins....but there were 6 of us. Then, another person waited on us. I ordered a turkey burger and he asked me if I wanted the skinnylicious one? I said yes, expecting a slider sized turkey burger but it was a deli meat sandwich. Then, my boyfriend ordered a veggie burger. He eats them a lot. He sent this one back because it was totally mushy. He said "this was the worst veggie burger he ever tasted". Since the other people in our group were my son, his fiancee and future mother and grandmother in law, we were greatly disappointed. They did remove the veggie burger from the bill. This was definitely not what we expected from the cheesecake factory.

I know it's a chain restaurant, but its amazing

By Marcia T |

The Cheesecake Factory never fails to astound me and is always worth the wait! The selection of food on the menu is mind boggling. Got the country salad which was delicious! Had the stuffed mushrooms that melted in your mouth! And had the Korean tacos which were good, but, a little chewy. My fave cheesecake is the dulce de leche...... And it is well worth every single penny. Also...no matter how busy they are, the kitchen is quick and the food comes out fast!

Yummy Cheese Cake

By TillISing |

This restaurant enjoys great patronage. The cheese cake portions are big and delicious. Though they have plenty of wait staff, the volume make it that you have to wait a little bit to get served. It was a fun experience for me and the cocktail and drink bar is quick and prompt at filling orders.

Horrible customer serice

By Shimeka G |

My husband decided to take me here on a Sunday evening for dinner. When we were seated, we asked to move tables because where we were sitting, the waiters/waitresses continued to bump into my husbands chair making him feel uncomfortable. We asked a very nice young lady if we could possibly move into a booth and she obliged. Once moved, she brought us stale bread to munch on until our waiter arrived. She explained that the waiter would be with us shortly, so to help him out she ordered our drinks for us. While we sat and waited 30 minutes while our waiter walked past us 3 times with no efforts to introduce himself, or acknowledge us, my husband and I decided to leave. I called back to talk to someone about their service, and the young lady listened and continued to state, "Thank you and have a good day" and hung up in my face. I called back a second time to speak with a manager and they left me on hold for over 20 minutes before I decided to hang up. This was THE WORST customer service I've ever dealt with and will never return to THIS location EVER again. I will continue to call and complain to the manager until I do end up speaking with someone. I work in customer service, and I'm sad to say, I do not want them even prepare my food. This location needs a good talking to about proper etiquette and customer service to the people that arrive to eat their food and pay the money for quality.

Celebrating Friends New Promotion!

My friend and I showed up, we went to our table, and ordered, the waiters were cheerful, pleasant, and attentive, and the food was good in portion and taste. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. By the way they have clean restrooms. I will go back!

The Cheesecake Factory

By aghyba |

Went there with my whole family including the in-laws from out of town on 7/22. I had an excellent spicy spaghetti pasta with shrimp shared with my wife. Been there many times but on this evening with a party of 8 the service was not so great, very slow and the server would forget things that we ordered for the table.

Terrible customer service.

By Joy Perry |

I went in to speak to a manager on duty about a job on Friday August 9, 2022. When I got into the place, the host called him on the phone and said he was wanted up front. Mind you, I had called twice before I even wasted my gas and rode down there and I was put on hold twice; one of the times I waited almost 10 minutes before I hung up because no manager picked up after I was transferred. (So the reason why I had to physically go down there) so that was the first problem I noticed. After about 8 minutes the manager still did not come up front to see who wanted to speak to him, so I went back to the girl and asked her “hey do you think if I was a customer would he take this long to come to speak to me?” and then I sort of laughed it off shrugging my shoulders. She then calls to the back for the manager because there was someone waiting to speak to him again and tells me to go sit in front of the bar and wait on him. So once again I did and she instructed me too. Finally he walks my way and goes to speak to her who needed him. This sneaky host then lied and told him that I was being very rude to her and giving her problems. The manager then comes over and asked me what did I needed, and I told him why I was there. He didn’t listen to me at all , cut me off and he said that the young girl said I was rude to her. I looked at him in bewilderment and I explained I wasn’t being rude to her at all and I had been waiting on him for ten minutes. He rudely, interrupted me said he wasn’t going to continue with this meeting and he asked me to leave the store. I couldn’t believe it! I’ve never been treated like that whatsoever when coming to a restaurant to speak to a manager. He was very unprofessional and quite rude. As I was leaving the place, I noticed mostly Hispanic employees were working that day and I thought to myself, if I had spoke Spanish to that girl when I first walked in then none of that would have happened. I felt racially discriminated against at this point. All in all, they all did me a favor, I’m so glad I saw this behavior now and not later. I’m definitely too good for this place. It is Their loss, and just like always, a way better opportunity with a more professional business will get my business and time to be of service to customers. Now, I see the other bad reviews on here too, so Cheesecake Factory y’all need to get it together because your customer service skills suck big time. And when you see it coming from the manager himself, then you know that’s not the place to be! 🫣🤯😳

Love it

By bigrpc13 |

30 minute wait to be seated. Server was friendly and knowledgeable . Tables clean and prices reasonable. Free parking at galleria . Orange chicken was plentiful and warm rather than hot.

Very Unwelcoming!

By Toks123 |

This location is horrible! The atmosphere is so unwelcoming so we decided to place a to-go order. We were informed this will take 20 mins but we are still waiting after 45 mins. No one is interested in giving an update on our order & the employees are so rude, unhelpful & arrogant. This is totally unacceptable!

Cheese Cake Factory - Just what you Would Expect

By Daniel G |

Typical Cheese Cake Factory menu. Good food, good service and fair prices. Have eaten in many of the chains restaurants. This location is as good or better than most other locations. We like the kale salad as a great healthy option and the light menu, which still offers adequate portions and more healthy choices.

One of the best dessert chains in the USA, although it is also eaten well.

By Alucard66 |

It is always a good option to go for coffee, enjoy some snacks and above all, a good dessert in this chain; they are delicious and the attention is also the difference. Super recommended.

Looking for Dessert

Absolutely the best food we had in Houston area. The selections available were abundant. The delivery quick, and the cheesecake suberb.

Fast Food , slow service..feed the herd

By DWR18 |

We had not been in a while and had a 1 year old gift card. Valet was $12.00, service was just okay. FREE bread was "in the oven" and would be to us soon. Really? Were they not expecting any diners? Fried zucchini was good but first slice was microwave burn your mouth HOT. Chicken and biscuits were not what they had been. Smaller biscuit and paper thing chicken breast with runny gravy. Ask to share and was told they would not split on plates for us we could have an empty plate and do it ourselves..CLASSY. For $80+++ with no alcohol not a good deal or meal but for the masses who will accept anything... I suppose it would be ok. I want a little more in my short life for my hard earned money. Oh yea...service okay but slow and he was working 3 tables and it was a PROCESS.

I am giving up

By kirbysmommy |

I have tried Cheesecake Factories in several cities over the past few years and every time I am disappointed. The food is just not as good as it used to be for the prices they charge. The food is now just mediocre. The cheesecake is still very good. The Tex Mex egg rolls were just grease soaked. The sour dough bread was so hard that I couldn't even cut it. I used to love the sour dough bread. Forgot the fries with the sandwich. Since this was takeout, I couldn't go back to the store and get them. Too far. The entrees are not worth writing about. I give up. After you spend over 100 plus dollars on food, you expect it to be decent.

Great food - miserable service

By Kelly C |

Everything in the Memorial area is crowded and busy, so given those realities it is unforgivable to charge a premium and provide sub-par service. I took my family of 8 here for lunch on Presidents Day because the kids were out of school. Lunch with dad is a fun experience - unless it takes 2 hours. The food was excellent (typical of the chain). The problem is the service. It was painfully slow, drinks were slow to be filled, took forever to get our order. I would blame the waiter, but it seemed like everyone was in the same boat. After chatting with a manager, things picked up a bit but not enough to bring us back to this location.

Really expensive for the meal.

By Brenda & Wayne H |

Just 2 lunch plates and a couple pieces of cheesecake to go was over $50. Really glad we were using a gift card that was given to us.

Degrading Experience

By mea m |

Normally, we have a great time. This last experience was extremely horrible and flat out the most degrading, I have ever come across in my life. We went to the Memorial City Location for a 14 year old's Birthday Celebration (her choice). We had a party of 15 so of course everything is online to make a reservation however, the max you can put is 6. My Brother-in-law calls the location to ask how to get a party of 15 on the books. The hostess tells him we can make a note and put in the request, but to try and get there an hour early. Well, that was not the case one bit! When they get there (45 min. ) early and not the hour. There were other large parties that had walked in to get in line for their party. When asked to speak to a manager, the Assistant manager came to speak. We gave her the rundown of the issue, then she proceeded to tell us what the proper steps we should have taken place. All she said was our apologies and put us at the end of the list after the other large parties and waiting. Instead of asking the hostess and correcting their mistake and misinforming the customer what should have been said there was no kind of accommodations. After speaking to her and trying to come up with something the GM came up. Apparently he was already frustrated with our group after being up there trying to yet again explain their employees misinformation he pretty much told us "there are other restaurants". So I asked if he he was trying to make us go somewhere else and he said no but proceeded to tell us to leave without saying it. When I asked again, he said he was taking our name off the wait list. So I pretty much took it as ok just sit at the bar and order since we had 3 little round table while we were waiting at the bar for 15 people. When he heard me tell my sister to lets just order at the bar he proceeded to say, "no I want yall to leave". To our surprise, since we had been sitting and waiting there for the longest then to be told to leave with no reasoning other than, "well I feel like we won't be coming to an agreement so I want yall to leave, I have the right to refuse service". He made his decision off of feelings because we were tying to see if anything could be done to accommodate our party since their team messed up to begin with. I even asked if we could be placed in the patio area and he told me no. We did get a card from the GM but my brother-in-law took it and when I called back to get both the assistant manager and gm's name the hostess hung up on me. This was so sad for our children to witness since this is a mutual meeting restaurant spot we adults go to from time to time since we are coming from League City, Tomball, Katy, Sugar Land and Southwest Houston. Since we were told to leave (based off of the GM's feeling) and he clearly would not give us a reason as to why he refused to serve us and called security to remove us from the restaurant, I am feeling that his decision was based off of race. Although we are a mixed family there was no loud commotion, name calling or anything out of trying to see how to fix their mess up to accommodate our group, I can't see any reason other than Race for his decision. Working in the restaurant industry for years growing up, I have never come across a GM nor an Assistant Manager that acted this way and I have worked in not so nice areas compared to this. I will end this and say that we still ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory in Katy. Moving forward the Memorial location will never be our central location for family or any other kind of gatherings. Racism should be over by now! I would have put a negative 10 if I could have for the Memorial Location!

Horrible Experience 9/27/14

By MarvineButler |

My family and I thought we'd top off a wonderful night out at the movies by having dinner here!!! What a mistake!!! After a 40 minute wait, standing in the lobby, we were seated and had to wait another 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order. It was obvious he was new, as he told us about the lunch fish specials. After taking our order, it took another ten minutes to get bread which was presented without butter. Once our food arrived after another fifteen minutes, my plate was cold!!! I asked for it to be warmed but by this point my shrimp were rubbery. I just asked for the check. I searched for the manager, who was non-present at this point as it was close to closing! I will never go back to this location!!! I love Cheesecake Factory but this visit was a waste of $70.00!!!

Make sure you’re hungry

By Taexali |

Had to wait a while for a table however this gave us the chance to look through the HUGE menu. We opted to sit outside and it was fine, less crowded and quieter than the main restaurant. The waitress was very helpful, knowledgable about the menu and brought drinks and water very quickly. Helpings are huge, most of the people we saw left with to go bags. We couldn’t manage dessert but took home some of the cheesecake - again a large variety of flavours. Would agree that the waiting area isn’t ideal but the staff there do keep you updated on how long you might need to wait.

Good staff, usual good food

By Paul H |

Probably my favorite of all the chain restaurants in the US that we don't have in London. Probably still prefer the one in Caesars Palace and on top of the department store in SF but the food in this one (especially the bang-bang chicken) and the cheesecake which we got to go and ate in the airport was as good as ever. Lovely greeting from the blond hostess on arrival, super friendly and enthusiastic - give her a raise!

Good food, good atmosphere

By Lawrence Axelrod |

Place is good for a bite to eat or more like 3 meals in 1. Portions are huge but the taste great. There is a cool fire deal here and outside seating. Service can be slow during peak hours. All in all a great place to eat. I have been here about 5 times now.

Disappointed in the service or normally reliable restaurant

By Holly H |

I am always a big Cheesecake Factory fan, it is our go-to when we cannot decide on something, but my experience today left me very disappointed. I am in town for work and this location is very close to my office, so an easy decision for dinner. We were seated quickly and the hostess was nice, but that is where it ended. The server we had seemed irritated that we were there. I greeted her with a smile and a good evening but she was not receptive to me. We ordered our meal and she came back with the bread, which we always look forward to. The french bread loaf piece was so hard you could bang it on the table, and totally inedible. The brown bread was clearly stale and crumbly. My husband tried to make the best of it but when I showed my server how hard and stale it was she said that it would "be a while" before she would be able to get more bread for us. This was before the dinner hour kicked off and it was not that busy, so it was not an issue of me being a pest and asking for special treatment. I knew then that we were not getting any, and that was that. The meal was good, as the food always is, but once again I asked for bread and she then took the old hard pieces away and basically only stopped by once to see if we needed more to drink but otherwise never made sure that things were ok or that we were satisfied. She seemed equally unfriendly with other customers as well, so maybe it was an off night, but we are very easy customers, and very generous tippers, so it was a shame that we were made to feel as though our business was not welcome. The tip that I left was reflective of our experience, and I do not intend to return to this location where there are so many other eating places in this town.

Great food

By 4PamelaDee |

We arrived right after the noon hour. Parking was just crazy. We rode around and around the parking lot for a while and finally found a spot. We were seated right away- only two of us in our party. The place was really busy and a bit loud. Tables are very close together. Service was good and our food came in a reasonable amount of time. The taste was good. For dessert, we shared the Godiva cheesecake was so good! I'm still thinking about it!

Food was Excellent, service not so much!

By bnbnola |

Decided on the Cheesecake Factory to visit with a friend I hadn't seen in over 30 years. It was a week night and the place wasn't crowded. We visited and then ordered our food. Food arrived quickly but then the service just wasn't there, no refills were offered, our plates weren't cleared. Realizing that we had stayed a little longer and maybe taken up the waiters table for other tips opportunities, I did tip him quite a bit more since we spent so much time there. Just disappointed in the service. Maybe it wasn't a good night for service but the food was excellent!

A Happy Mouth

By Larry F |

This was actually my first time going to the Cheesecake Factory, but I can now say..... It won't be my last. Not only was the food delicious, the service was excellent. The place had a wonderful relaxed atmosphere that made you want to just sit and talk for hours. And don't let me forget what I really came there for. "The Cheesecake!". Oh Lord! The Peanut Butter Cheesecake. Rich, creamy, delicious! All I can say is I'm hooked! 😍

FOOD WAS GOOD BUT EXTRA SLOW SERVICE

By mary R |

We had 5 adults and a toddler but we were automatically charges gratuity and waited for over 30 minutes for our drinks from the waiter and 45 minutes for our food. Pissed that i was charged gratuity for poor service

Very disappointing

By Kosta100 |

Came here with my wife and son for lunch today. The food was really disappointing. We had a pizza which was disgusting and the lasagne which tasted like it had been put through a microwave oven. Only half reasonable dish was the wings which are difficult to get wrong. Overall, poor food which was over-priced and very, very ordinary.

The Cheesecake Factory - lunch on the patio

By Sue S |

I haven't been to The Cheesecake Factory in almost 20 years, but received a gift card for my birthday. We decided to have lunch on Friday - the start of Spring Break. We arrived about 1pm and there was a 30 min. wait. We opted to eat on the enclosed patio - walled off with heaters. The noise level on the patio was minimal considering the loud chatter inside. Plenty of room and comfortable seats. We ordered the avocado eggrolls - fantastic - creamy and delicious. One had the Chinese Chicken Salad, another the Southwestern Salad and I opted for the pizza and side Caesar salad - - huge lunch size portions - big enough to share or take home. All very good and flavorful. Of course we had to get cheesecake - To go! Huge slices - - I was able to taste the Smores & Chocolate, the Chocolate coffee and Chris's chocolate special. OMG. Our server was excellent - very attentive, offered suggestions and very nice. Good food and service. If you don't like noise, sit on the patio or go at an off time.

Service issues again

By TXhome1225 |

Why we keep coming back to CCF I don't know. We run into confused servers at each location. This time it seems we were seated by some clueless teenager in a section that was closed. It took getting up & chasing down staff until someone was finally assigned to serve us. It still wasn't without issues- no salt & pepper, server disappeared after the food arrived, didn't check back & it took tracking down staff to get the check. Unfortunately here several months ago, & in the ft lauderdale location a year ago the service was also dis functional. Ironically this restaurant didn't have much business. Maybe the lack of service training & supervision is bringing this chains downfall.

Overall Good

A nice restaurant located in Memorial City Mall in West Houston. A large selection of food from which to choose. The food is good, but not great. The restaurant is usually crowded, therefore is a bit noisy.

Good Overall, but Service Needs to be Improved

By Great_Beer_Now |

I usually avoid chain restaurants when I travel, but dining close to home is different. I don’t mind chains in my local area, even though I admit some are better than others. One that I have visited and liked is Cheesecake Factory next to Memorial City Mall. This location of the well- known chain restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, valet parking, a kids menu, and vegetarian friendly options. The lighting is soft, but it isn’t always quiet, depending on the size of the crowds, which can get large. As for the food and drink, Cheesecake Factory has an exhausting menu that frankly could and should be reduced. I like variety, but the choices here are too much. They serve burgers, sandwiches, pasta, Chinese food, pizza, and even all- day breakfast. And within each category is what seems like an endless number of options, making it difficult to make up your mind. The same is true with the cheesecake part of the menu. The number of options is overwhelming and it can get very difficult to choose. Cheesecake Factory does, however, score high marks for food quality. I have liked what I have ordered at this chain restaurant over the years and the food served here has proven itself worthy. On a recent visit, I ordered the Parmesan Crusted chicken with whipped potatoes and green beans. It was quite nice and just enough to leave me feeling full but not stuffed. Other members of my family ordered assorted goodies and they seemed satisfied. The different breads they bring to your table before you eat are nice as well. One area where this location needs to improve is with the service. Our waiter took far too long to check back at our table after giving us our menus. It took so long that, at one point, I was going to walk to the front and ask if they could track him down. Because of this, we didn’t start eating until about 45 minutes into our visit, which is far too long. They also messed up a drink order- one of us ordered a drink from the bar and never received it, but it was still added to our bill. Yes, they took care of it and adjusted the bill accordingly, but we left with a sour taste in our mouths thanks to the inconsistent service received. Overall, however, I’m still going to give this Cheesecake Factory location a recommendation because I do like the food and atmosphere. My rating is about a point lower than it would otherwise be, due to the shoddy service, but this location does have good things to offer. Try to visit when it’s less crowded and your experience should be positive.

It's okay I guess

By Amber S |

At first the service was good but then it got busy and the service slowly went down hill. The same as our food the appetizer was great but the real dish was terrible. I got the personal pizza and salad, the salad was good but the pizza had a big grease Bucket in the center. My step mom got pasta da Vinci and she said it was plain and she had to add salt and pepper right away. My friend got a club sandwich, which was the only good thing but her fries came out later and where cold.

Decent food & service

By Roger S |

This was the first time we ate at this Cheesecake Factory. The food was very good, not great but more than adequate. Our server was a bit of a clown but very attentive and took good care of us. I like the Galleria restaurant much better - better décor and the overall atmosphere is better than this facility. That's not to say we won't be back. It's the same menu and a little more convenient. Overall, I would recommend this Cheesecake Factory.

Busy Saturday night~go early!

By Louisianatraveler11 |

Busy, busy Saturday night. We waited for a table in less time than they said, about 15 minutes, not bad. Beautiful place! A little too dark for me, but very nice. We had crab dip appetizer & it was fabulous! Caesar salad was fresh & great, but way to big. The small was too big in a 14" bowl full! Baked potato soup was great! I had a small Greek salad that was loaded with veggies & olives & feta cheese & was great. . Pretzel chicken bites were so good. My friend ordered a B&B, they put ice in it??She sent it back. All the food was very fresh & great. The menu is way to big, like a book & takes too long to read. The service was a bit slow. We were there over 2 1/2 hours. But we realized how busy they were. We ordered 4 slices of cheesecake to go. Chocolate, Peanut butter, Deluche & chocolate chip. All the cheesecake we enjoyed. We will return.

My First Visit But Certainly Not My Last

By Kay D |

We were visiting a family member at Memorial Herman hospital and needed to leave to get a bite to eat. It was raining and we appreciated being able to cross over the Skywalk. There was about a 20 minute wait but we used the time to peruse the extensive menu. By the time we were seated, we were ready to place our orders. We started with cheese bread and their signature brown bread. Both were delicious. Our entrees Chicken Parmigiana pizza style, Skinnylicious Veggie Burger and kid-sized sliders were ample and delicious as well. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable and very attentive. It was a great dining experience.

The Cheesecake Factory is nice and has a great atmosphere. I particularly chose this location because of parking and location. You can either valet or park throughout the mall's parking lot for free. I recommend going after the mall closes or before it opens on the weekends for better parking. My friends and I recently went on a Friday night afterhours and I was able to park up front. Nice view of The Square, an open area similar to CityCentre. Beautiful patio I want to try for brunch. Great for groups, I had no wait at 9pm to be seated. Of course I'll be back, I love the vibe. Plus, they were open until midnight on Friday! Girls night out coming again soon Lol!

Very disappointed

By PlPlJns |

It was our daughter's birthday and we took her shopping at the mall and then out to eat. I had the fish and chips, which I have had at a different Cheesecake Factory where it was good. This time it was terrible, with way to much batter not enough fish.

Worst Cheesecake Factory from here to Rancho Cucamonga!

By Nesha W |

And I've eaten at many in between! The night service is fair but I work in the area so I've eaten here multiple times for lunch I've tried to give them opportunity after opportunity to redeem themselves and the lunch was horrible they under cook the salmon. the service is bad. Now this does not speak for every Cheesecake Factory because I've had some of the best food I've ever had at some Cheesecake Factories. just not this one!

Much better experienc ethis time

By AIWIW |

Service was great and food was very nice. Overall a positive experience this time. Food quantity is large and most of the time 2 people can eat from one dish

Inconsistent service

By Aztxcat |

I've been here many times & sometimes the service is good sometimes It's sub par. The only thing that's consistent is the food is usually good. Unless you have a large party, the service in the round room hasn't been good the last few times. The service outside behind the bar has been better.

Love this place!!

By Pandapie1220 |

Visited The Cheesecake Factory several times during my stays in Houston and each time the service and food were excellent. I would highly recommend eating here.

Ordered and food was very good up to standard expected

By ickbar |

Ordered and was delivered reasonably promptly. Food very pleasant and high standard. Could recommend for value and taste.

The gift that keeps on giving

By Bethan Y |

We only stopped for cheesecake and it was everything we could have hoped for - huge slice for a decent price. It took us days to finish and it was beautiful.

Wonderful dinner with family

By Sherry B |

After returning from Utah, we went here for dinner. There was a short wait, but we were soon seated. Staff wonderful. Enjoyed our food. Large portions. Ordered cheesecake to go. Ate the cheesecake over the next several days. They have gluten free options, including cheesecake!

Enjoy The Sleezecake Factory

By Jeff G |

This used to be a pretty decent/nice restaurant, but has really gone downhill in the last year or two. Every restaurant has their off days, but our recent visit was far from just that. For starters, our waitress spilled my wife's drink on the table/my wife. Accidents happen to all of us and we realize that, but the waitresses response was interesting.... absolutely nothing..... not even an "oops, sorry about that". Refill on the spilled drinks? Nope. About 10 minutes later, they dropped a towel on the table and left it there for us to handle.... then a guy came by and dropped a towel on the floor in front of our table..... I guess hoping that the towel would handle it itself? Through all this, our waitress was chatting it up with a larger table across from us and doing what ever she could for them. Our waitress did what she could to avoid our table, but did what she could to address the other table's needs. I guess I shouldn't be surprised.... service was low rent and so were the other customers around us. There is a new name trending for this restaurant.... Sleezecake Factory, LOL, Visit at your own risk. #SleezecakeFactory

Always good food

By DRobinson1980 |

I don't think I've ever had a bad food experience at the Cheesecake Factory, and this time was no different. I had the Chicken Madeira and my companion had the Cajun Chicken Pasta. The food was delicious, although, as always, I wonder why a place with such good food always serves their bread cold and their butter pats frozen solid. I took off a point because the server was slightly indifferent. It took her a while to show up to take our drinks and longer still to take our orders. However, indifferent service at the Cheesecake Factory is still better than good service most places, and one thing I did appreciate about her was that she did not constantly interrupt our meal to ask questions, but, once she took our order, waited discreetly nearby to be available off we did need something. So another pleasant experience and another good meal at the Cheesecake Factory.

Keep in mind the kids

By stevemytech |

The experience was nothing less then great! the valet was a great touch since we went in Xmas week and the parking was unbelievable I decided to park which took me 40 minutes to realize... Get the valet its only $10 trust me in a hectic weekend just cough it up lol. It was definitely not family friendly or 5 and under children due to limited waiting area. we went on Xmas week and it was Cold and people had children waiting for a table with small children by the front door. Sad to see this kids freezing for a table with parents. Again not knocking the restaurant but if you know not just adults are coming to diner get a better place for kids too if that is where the franchise is heading to family. It was very sophisticated location on the Memorial Mall, but not family friendly. If on a date, or meeting other adults it is a great place!!!! The location seem to be to congested for my taste but that's just my little too cents. The Staff, AWESOME! We were helped with the menu since this was my first experience with the restaurant. The waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and when I asked for a recommendation he did a great job. The meal was exquisite, and the price was ..well lets just say you get what you pay for and we got a lot lol. At the end of the day I give this location a B+ if not just for what I saw with the kids waiting on the cold every single time someone opened the front doors. It was a great experience we will be going back soon.

Need to wipe out the entire staff and start over!!!!!

By Tina D |

This was a weekend trip to Houston TX for an event, we decided to eat this this location. We had a group of 7, waited on a table and when we were called to be seated we were taken to a booth where they sat a chair on the end of the table, keep in mind that this was also the main walk way for others to get to their table, for the servers to walk by with food. Since we had already waited 30-45 minutes we chose to just stay there. Our waitress was very rude, didn't not speak or announce herself, brought on basket of cold bread with about 5 pieces in it (but it's 7 of us) took our order at that time, never came to check on us to see if we needed anything or to let us know our food would be coming or NOTHING!!!! When the food was brought out it was not right, had to send majority of it back (LIKE REALLY) by this time it is late, never refilled not one glass on the table and we had a toddler that kept asking for bread because we all were hungry but waitress never showed her face again until we stopped another waitress. Once the food came back out the fries on our 4yr old plate was cold (they were the same fries from the first time) didn't care to send back. I grab another server and asked to speak with a manager but the manager never came only to have our waitress come to tell us that she removed the child's meal off the ticket (Umm I'm sorry how do you know that is what we wanted to speak with the manager about) when she brought the tickets to the table and we paid she didn't bring back change, so we had to have her sent back to the table to give all of us our change back (did you really think you were going to be tipped that much after the poor service and lack of attention to our table) ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Please go to other restaurants around that area but not this one. I will never visit this location if I am back in Houston again!!!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A CHEESECAKE FACTORY!!!!

Overpriced food for average quality food.

By Chinny N. |

My husband and I had date night dinner here and first let me say, I usually am a fan of the Cheesecake Factory until now. The place was terribly cold. Everyone around us even looked cold! The food: I got the spicy chipotle chicken pasta and there was nothing spicy or flavorful about my dish. My husband got a steak dish and it was nothing wow. We shared an appetizer, no dessert and was charged over $70 including tax and tip. No, thanks. There are plenty of better restaurants around with better quality food and lower prices. Sorry Cheesecake, I was a fan but I don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

Great TexMex EggRolls But Only OK Service

By Robert S |

Had order of TexMex EggRolls which were full of flavor with God green sauce and pico. Went on a Monday evening so place was not crowded but service was only so-so. Guess the server didn't think that a person eating by themselves either needed much service or would give much of a tip. Wrong on both points!

The same restaurant and the same perfect service

By Rufat Zelimkanovich |

I been here several times and each garcon better than previous. Salads are made perfectly ( except added bacon with out request). If I decide to eat some desserts, of course to my nind coming always Cheesecake Factory. Well done!

A great place for lunch

By HOTELINSPECTORABZ |

Visited Memorial for shopping and had lunch at Cheesecake factory . Fabulous place , great ambiance , good extensive menu and great food ! A great stop whilst shopping at this wonderul mall.

What wasn't burnt was good

By tapathos |

We went on a Wednesday night, and it wasn't crowded. Service was OK for once. The restaurant lighting was so dim, I had to use a flashlight to read the menu, as did the table next to me. I ordered some flatbread and the pizza. My wife ordered pasta. The parts of the flatbread that weren't burnt were good. The pizza was the same thing - partially burnt. My wife's pasta was undercooked, as in crunchy. The bread was the best thing we had. I won't be going back.

Nice taste

By miloszek |

Menu is long and you can find many options for easy and fine dining. All is super reach in taste and generously seasoned. Dont forget that cake bits are big so plan your courses smart.

Heavy food

By AntonioFrega |

Maybe we did not choose well the food since was very heavy and fatty. The service was not bad, but also not special. Price is low considering you can share the plate (it is very well served). Maybe next time we will have better luck!

Excellent lunch after visit to American Girl store!

By TexasLPhil |

Good food and service including high chair for doll and complementary drink for her. Excellent meal following shopping trip; perfect for the adults and children.

Good, but not as good as usual

By Greg T |

We visited for my daughter's birthday, and the experience just wasn't as good as previous times. Our server was a little rough around the edges, but very nice and did a great job. We started out with salads. Except the plates were so dirty on top and underneath that we had to send them back. The staff was very apologetic and they did bring new ones on "cleaner" plates a while later. When we got our entree, the plates again weren't as clean as we'd like - kind-of of smudged/greasy, and dirty underneath - they just didn't feel as clean as you'd expect (we aren't that picky, but expect clean feeling plates). Food was good overall, but our pasta was WAY too salty. My son chose a fruit cup over fries and was disappointed. Waitress oversold it as wonderful with apples, pineapples, grapes, strawberries, etc. What he really got was very small pieces of apples and pineapples with one grape cut in half on top. Very poor presentation and a let down as he loves strawberries and was looking forward to that but there weren't any. Red Velvet Cheesecake was good, and staff's attention to my daughter's birthday was nice.

Jovian O was the most inattentive, slowest waitress I have Sen. In a long time. We order drinks, she disappeared, drinks delivered by the bar. She took forever to take our order., then disappeared. The kitchen delivered our meal, I had to flag her down to get a glass of water. It was 30 minutes before the table got bread. She ignored our table all night. We asked for a desert menu, another 15-20 minutes just to get a menu from her. Then another 15-20 min to get our Togo order. We spent almost two hours there after we got to the table. Only complaint about the food was that the ran out of the club sandwich. Who runs out of the basics, bacon, turkey, cheese, bread..

good food and an oversize menu

By gwilliger |

I've eaten here many times. The food is consistently good, the portions are good but not huge, the pricing is a little high but you get what you pay for.

Mediocre food, expensive

By Johanna B |

The waitress we had seemed mostly nice but had too many tables (Tuesday night dinner). It was hard for her to tend to us and everything took a very long time to order... Drinks, food, dessert, anything was a long wait. The butter for the bread was frozen and hard. I asked the bus girl if she could please bring softer butter ( I couldn't have said it nicer because I don't like giving servers a hard time) and in the rudest tone and smirk she said " that's all we can do." She must've been asked a lot that night but it's for a reason.... You could break that butter in half! Anyway, we asked for an ice cream Sunday over a brownie, and I couldnt break the brownie with my fork because, take a wild guess.... It was frozen. Bill was too pricey for all of that...I wouldn't take the risk if you are curious. - frozen butter, frozen brownie, rude bus girl

Wonderful cheesecake!

By Susan C |

I took my teen daughter and her friend to eat before a concert. We arrived at 4:00 pm and it was obviously perfect timing because we only waited 5 minutes for a table. The hor'dourves of crab bites and stuffed mushrooms were great. We next went with Louisiana pasta, four-cheese pasta and the healthy chopped salad--all very good choices. We finished off with the red velvet cheesecake, tiramisu cheesecake and lemon-raspberry cheesecake--all amazing! With great coffee, of course! Park with valet ($10) or you'll find your time eaten up making circles of the parking lot. Dean R was a friendly, yet efficient server so I'd ask for him by name next time.

Excellent once again......

By Shelley C |

I love the Cheesecake Factory and with a menu this diverse you never run out of options. It is always my first place I eat at when in Houston and the spinach & artichoke dip never fails to please me. Very good value for money especially when travelling on business and often with a group of people.

Everything was sticky

By me4osu |

We stopped by to have some cheesecake after a family outing, and while the cheesecake was delicious, the table was sticky. We also had to send the silverware back because it was not completely washed either.

Poor management. No concern for special needs

By FrmrJamaican M |

Two stars for the food which is consistently good and the reason we have been coming here since this location opened. Unfortunately we ran into a pompous manager who rudely asked us to get up from a table we were told was open and part of the bar area. He then proceeded to watch my 93 year old diabetic mother attempt to get up on a 4 foot tall bar stool. Tip for managers - make sure you clearly identify which tables in the bar area are ACTUALLY bar tables and not embarrass and otherwise inconvenience customers. Your lack of intellect shows...

Over rated on all levels

By Sharon H |

Rarely write a review that's not great. I've been here 3 times this past year with a group of 6. Service is not great. Food is ok, it's priced in a range that should be far better...Houston has great food at this price within blocks of both locations. I don't consider this expensive....it's just not a great experience overall, consistently.

Loved it

By 754rasab |

Loved my recent visit to the CF and thought this branch was very good. We were a large party of adults and kids and were very well looked after by the servers. We all had something different and all the meals were great, can highly recommend the Miso Salmon. And of course the cheesecakes, the Key Lime Pie one is so good. Thank you for a great evening!

Oh sorry

By 289sonias |

Whilst the food is good service this place is expensive and quality is not always there. Ordered a vegetarian starter whilst eating it found some chicken in it all the waiter could say was I apologize. In difference shown was very distressing.

Don't waste your time

By 13Kenny13 |

Came to town on business. Decided to try out Cheesecake Factory since it was right next to my hotel. Walked in and there was no host at the counter. Waited 15 minutes and was ignored by two different wait staff before I walked out.

Good place for families...

By southtexastraveller |

While on vacation and staying at the Westin right near this place, we decided to give it a shot. The great thing is this place is a nice walking distance and you actually walk through a skywalk to get there. Our server "Austin" was really nice and cordial. I had a salmon dish that was pretty darn good, my wife had the chicken Madeira , that she thought was good and daughter had the mini corn dogs. Overall, the food was fresh, the atmosphere was satisfactory with no screaming kids.. Unfortunately, we were too stuffed to order dessert. I'm sure we wouldn't have been disappointed though.

Food average cheesecake fantastic.

By Magst3 |

Really busy waited 15 mins for table good menu lots of choice, had a cocktail it was ok I usually have a Cosmo but tried a tropical Cosmo should have stuck to my usual. I ordered Moroccan chicken which was cooked with Harissa paste very tasty it was served with couscous or what was advertised as couscous but wasn't! It was like large grain bugler wheat any couscous I have had it's very fine this was not. We had a glass of Pinot grigio with meal was really nice, we decided to share a desert as my friend wanted to try the red velvet cheesecake was delicious but one piece was more than enough for two with some left over, had two coffees very nice the village came to around 100 dollars with tip, nice lunch only critics is was the couscous my friend had chicken Alfredo with pasta said it was delicious.

I'm Stuffed Just Thinking About It

By Yorlive |

For a restaurant that specializes in desserts, they have a lot of lunch and dinner options. A LOT. But don't order too much for your meal so that you'll have room for dessert. Most entrees have huge portion sizes. The cheesecake is excellent of course, but you should try the strawberry shortcake. It's the best. 3 people could split it and have enough.

Great food!

By Mr H |

The 7 of us sat outside in the lovely April weather. Food was great! Recommend the Buffalo Blasts to start. Great service, great Burgers and sandwiches. Of course the cakes and cheesecakes were brilliant!

Good food

By asmauliman |

Went here with my son a few days ago. Love the decor and ambience, staff were friendly and service was fast. I ordered fish and chips and I loved it, the coleslaw was delicious. The waiter kept coming around like a gazillion times to ask if everythng was ok. Overall, good value for money.

Very pleasantly surprised

By OmanRob |

Never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory before and did not expect the choice and quality of both food and service. Although the menu is vast and Gordon Ramsay would have a small fit, the actually execute it well and with great service. Of particular note was the chicken tacos and the milk shakes which actually seemed to have some fruit in them - will be back ! Rob

Great place to eat

By iulianamoisa |

I have to admit that the name is perfect for this place. The cheesecakes are awesome, traditional for US and delicious. They have food also and is tasty, pretty crowded, if there's time to eat it's possible you won't find a seat.

American!

By Ihype I |

This restaurant much go down in American history as a great restaurant ! No matter what type of food tour craving it's here! Plus it's incredible cheesecakes !

Not worth it!!!!!!

By Sherif J |

These place is way overated and over priced for the food u get its not worth it at all I will never eat there again the food as no taste at all no season and it taste like it was cooked and warm in the microwave and for those prices they charge its a joke, and yea yea 9 dollars for a piece of cheesecake wth!!!!!!!!!

Huge Party

By Nancy M |

We were a party of 28 and we were accommodated nicely. The restaurant appreciated that we called ahead a few days before and we were seated together! Our wait staff worked so hard to keep everyone happy. And, our beverage glasses were never empty!

To be expected. . .

By Joanna W |

It was ok. The food was good. The service is terrible. We planned to go to a nice place but the wait was so long we went down the street to here. It was to be expected. Already disappointed in going the food was a surprise but service was not. Pineapple mojito was great!

Ordered impossible burger

By Bubba |

Tonight I ordered an impossible burger and look at what they sent me. A red undone beef burger with bacon and onion rings. They say you get what you pay for obviously not because cheesecake factory can't do a simple order. 🤷 😠 😡 😤 😣

Avoid

By steveprez |

Foodies avoid the Cheesecake Factory like the plague and now it's obvious to me why. Had dinner here with the family as it was convenient to the hotel we stayed and we were exhausted from a day of sightseeing . The restaurant was dark with loud music playing. Hard to have a conversation. Food was bland and uninspired. Stay away if you like good food.

Great food. Great service. Go there!

By jsearle99 |

We sat outside. High 80s with a warm breeze. Jake served us. He got a good cardio workout with all the refills and special requests, and did it all with a smile. The lettuce wraps were amazing. We loved all three sauces, but the peanut sauce was my favorite. I think we're going back for round 2 today!

Cheesecake Factory does not know how to make a Cobb Salad

By Butch M |

My wife and I had dinner at Cheesecake Factory last evening. She ordered corn cakes which she has ordered there before. I ordered a Cobb Salad. I was disappointed when is arrived. It looked like a chopped salad. I could not recognize the ingredients in the salad. The dressing was bland. I have eaten many Cobb salads. The traditional method of serving it is having the various ingredients set in the bowl on top of lettuce in separate areas instead of chopped and mixed together. I would give this salad a four. My wife liked her food and the waiter was very good. I believe that this restaurant tries to serve to many entrees. They should serve fewer and to a better job on those. I am in the minority, because they seam to pack the customers in. I will return to this restaurant only when my wife requests it.

Takeout?

By Mona C |

25 minutes to place and receive a to go order? But, it is my favorite salad. Not ideal if you're crunched for time.

Good

By tmde |

I’m not a fan of their bench type seats with smaller tables & chairs. It’s uncomfortable to seat so close to strangers while eating. So we requested a booth. It took a while because she said there were not servers for the open booth areas. We were fine with waiting. Our waiter was a nice young man who seemed to be very busy. We were brought out the bread and butter. The bread was hard & cold. We did not complain. Our food was very good. We ordered the fried shrimp & the lemon garlic shrimp. Both were hot, tasty, & cooked perfectly. We ordered a slice of the raspberry lemon cheesecake to go. Yum! That is my absolute favorite ever. We would absolutely go back again.

Lemon cake terrific

By Hermes_NL 🇳🇱 |

Very busy place near the Target in Memorial City Mall. Service kinda slow, took a long time bringing a bottle of gaseous water. Salads were quite OK, the regular one very large, the low-calroie one, well, low-calorie, but very tasty. Lemon cake was terrific with a crisp tangy taste, sweets clearly being their strongest point.

Disappointing

By Cheryl G |

My daughter (21), her friends and her boyfriend like this place a lot. I took her and her boyfriend there. This is the second time I have been there with her and there have been service issues both times. The first time we got a table and waitress, the first waitress was changed to another station and we waited 30 minutes for the second waitress to take our order. This time, we got a waitress that was not good with people. My daughter ordered the fried shrimp plate and said no cole slaw please. The waitress did not offer to substitute anything. When I asked if this was possible she said yes but that there would be an upcharge for some items. We asked what would be an even substitute and she could not tell us. We finally got double fries just because we did not know what else was possible. The wrong beer was delivered (Bud Light)and we had to wait a long time for the correct type (Dos Equis) to get there. Ordered water never arrived. I ordered 2 small plates as my entrée, one of them was wrong. While they brought me the correct thing, I asked for some lemon to go with my crab bites. It never arrived. I finally ate them with no lemon before they got cold. My daughter's ranch dip never arrived. She did without, not that big a deal. It was a Tuesday night and not that busy. With the wrong order delivered, the manager came out, removed the waitress and comped us some deserts. He did his best to recover the service and our new waiter was top notch. I did not want to make a big deal out of any of it and did not want for these things to become the focus of our meal but it was disappointing. It is a popular place, I think they have problems with the wait staff. The crab bites were very good, the chicken and mushroom lettuce wraps were not good. I would remove them from the menu. The fried shrimp, 4 cheese pasta and the tamale cakes were a hit with the kids. I did not enjoy the apple crisp at all. The kids loved the key lime and salted caramel cheesecake. I appreciate the manager's efforts to turn things around. He handled the situation very well but I did not have a good time. It was uncomfortable with the waitress.

Average Food

By vaughanm1976 |

Stopped in for lunch. I was promptly seated, and the service was great. But the food was average at best.

Best.Service. Ever!

By Deborah M |

This is the only location I like of this restaurant. Nathan is the Best Waiter Ever! The food was good and had a great time. When we go back we will ask for Nathan!

Not as good as some of the other Cheescakefactories

By Bart M |

Ate here with some colleagues. Where the food in the Los Angeles Cheesecakefactory was somewhat refined, here the same dishes were not cooked to the same level. Tuna overcooked, rise with uncooked bits in it. Disappointing after the first experience. Service was relatively slow. Cheescake desert was just perfect!

Always A Great Meal!

By Steve S |

I've been to many different Cheesecake Factory restaurants over the years. They are always consistent, and offer great food at reasonable prices! This location was no different. Great food, friendly staff, and another enjoyable experience!

Decent but just too much

By Megagrot |

Overall the place is a step above some places but on several visits I have not had the best service which is not what you want after a long wait to get in. The place is always busy so be ready to wait. They do have a ton of food options but to me that is the problem, the menu is so big you know that much of it is not fresh.I cant say anything bad about the drinks though. The atmposhpere is very nice and at the right time of year I suggest sitting on the patio they have done a great job out there. It will be loud anywhere you sit. Parking is a pain since it is attached to the mall but they offer valet (cash only). Overall I would say skip the food get the cheesecake and skip the line sit at the bar if its open.

Save room for the Cheesecake!

By MarFol725 |

i always enjoy coming here, just wish my stomach was bigger as the portions are not small. They told us our wait on this busy Saturday would be nearly 45 minutes but it only was 20 minutes. The chicken picata is wonderful and very tasty, and the kids spaghetti with meatballs had plenty for 2 kids to share. Our waiter, Clay was attentive to our needs although since it was loud around us he had a hard time hearing my soft spoken child when she ordered and so one of our items didn't come exactly as we'd asked. Our cheesecake portions were plentiful but I can assure none was wasted as we took them home to savor later on.

Expected

By AlphaNation |

The menu has 100,000 options. Not too many restaurants are successful with this many options. It doesn't allow the chef to focus on uniquity or quality. Food was comparable to Chili's or Applebees. The cheesecake is where this place makes its mark. Many selections and they're all pretty good. But, they need to decide if they're a Cheesecake Factory or a restaurant.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH SERVICE, MANAGER, ETC.

By gailhouston |

There was a party of 7 tonight. Took FOREVER to get our drinks and bread. And needless to say, we were sitting like sardines at our booth. Rico started waiting on us...he showed NO attention and I don't recommend him. I finally asked for a manager and this smart-aleck girl came over and said that she was the manager. She had an attitude that I was shocked at .. Typically, service and food is really good, but not tonight. They switched servers on us .. no idea what this lady's name was.. Everyone's food came out separately .. that is not the way to run a restaurant. We ordered caesar salad along with the chicken teriyaki. They attempted to bring everything out together...NOT...I cancelled the caesar salad .. Normally, a better restaurant would bring salad first and then the entree. Manager NEVER came back to check on us, which shows poor management skills.

Average food and service

By prettypink21 |

Food was a little bland, not what I would expect from the Cheesecake Factory. Our server appeared to be having a bad day or just had a chip on her shoulder. We were seated outside which was very enjoyable but did mean we waited quite a while any time we wanted anything.

Usually love this restaurant when I get to go

By scrapper39 |

Went to the mall and saw they had this restaurant and I usually love it. Have been to them all around the country. We went on a Sunday morning and decided to eat there. It was like 11:30 when we go there and found out they had a brunch menu. We decided to do the Brunch. I had the pancakes with Apples and pecans. Pancakes tasted burnt. Not much flavor other then that. The apples weren't good and hardly any pecans. I wished I had ordered something else. My sister ordered the eggs benedict and at first they brought here the wrong meal. The correct one was good according to her. She ate more of hers then I did of mine. Service was OK.

Date night

By ASam74 |

Me and my fiancé had a great time at dinner. Service was great and Julia was the best server of the night. Thankfully we had room for dessert. The slice of cheesecake was a great way to end our date night.

Serves a purpose

By John R |

Visited the Cheesecake Factory several times during a recent stay at the nearby Westin hotel. We went there because it was easy and the huge menu means that pretty much everybody can find something they like. The staff were always incredibly polite and efficient but the food, which always sounds great and looks great when it arrives is inevitably underwhelming. It is as if it is being shovelled out of pre-prepared vats. Nothing you could particularly complain about, but nothing to get excited about. I suppose it does the job of providing reasonably priced food, quickly and efficiently. And we kept going back!

I was impressed.

By Steve P |

Its in the Memorial City Mall, near the Target store. I'd never been to a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. My wife says this one is the norm. If true, then this is a wonderful chain of restaurants. Price was reasonable. Food was very good. Portions more than adequate. Service was just right. Everyone was pleasant.

Always good

By Sharon_zz |

We came for a late lunch and for the cakes. We had grilled chicken breast with broccoli and mash potatoes. The cob salad was a winner, always fresh and tasty. Coffee served with Oreo & white chocolate Cheesecake was fabulous.

We Loved It!!!

The atmosphere, service and food was excellent. I rarely give 5 stars but they earned it. Every order was correct the first time out of the gate. That alone is a star.

Granddaughters 7th Birthday

By Creig2015 |

Party of Twelve which needs extra attention. Service was ok Order of food and delivery took a long time where the manager came to apologize for the long wait. Food was great except for my grandsons order. Sent it back because it was not correct (breakfast burrito) Came back (way to long) in my opinion for a burrito and the toast was burnt on one side which was turned down and didn't notice until way late since my grandson eats his toast after his meal is eaten. Very disappointed that no one noticed the burnt toast before it was served. Have eaten here many times but with two people instead of 12. Been at the Baybrook Mall location and had excellent service and food was great. Never will return to the Memorial City location. Very disappointed and expensive to be let down Creig Creig

More than cheesecake

By Drew K |

Of all "chain" type restaurants, which I tend to avoid if at all possible as I like supporting the "mom and pop" places, Cheesecake Factory is probably #1 in my book. Never have been disappointed in the food. The menu is a book! Really a great variety of food. Ohh... the cheesecake?? Yep, it's darn good too!

Excellent food

By aphpixels |

The food here is excellent and the wait staff are very helpful. Naturally you can't visit here without having a cheesecake, so make sure you leave room for dessert.

Really bad!

By Denï C |

I was there with some family from out of town. The wait was forever long! Their waiting area is the worst! They sat us down outside and the fan was broken. Then brought us back inside where we waited for our food over one hr! I don't reccomend anybody go there. There's plenty of better places all around. It was a waste of money and time!

Nearly perfect!

By HowIReallyFeel |

First visit to Cheesecake Factory, Memorial City but have been to The Woodlands. Honestly, much warmer staff, better service, and better view because we were sat in a great location. It was fairly loud but we got used to it. Spent too much and came home with leftovers but all food and drink was above average. Renee's special $10.95 was half a turkey sandwich, bowl of lentils, and garden salad. I did find an onion skin in my turkey meat but could have been worse. Café Mocha $4.95, fried macaroni and cheese appetizer $9.95, four cheese pasta $11.50, double expresso $3.99, chocolate tower truffle cake $7.50, and oreo dream extreme cheesecake $7.95 for a total of $60.40 before tip.

Late lunch

By Y9783LQlaurad |

We stopped for a late lunch, there was a line so I am waiting on line for the hostess, and one of them is eating at the hostess stand which I do not consider acceptable. Our waiter was nice but the wait for our food was long. We were a party of four...two of the plates were delivered and we had to wait 5+ minutes for another plate and then she had to go back and find my son's food...another wait. The food was good, not great.

Great location.

By 1969ViajeroFrecuente |

Our first server left we wait long time to be attended and then it came the second server apologizing because they doesn't have more bread, 2nd server service was good. The plates were bigger than expected. All the food was excellent. The terrace environment was romantic.

Lunch with Friends..

By MandaRed |

Nice Atmosphere, Cheesecake is Wonderful. Although some of the menu items were a little pricey....We went on a Saturday at about 1o'clock the wait time was only 20 minutes. Not bad. Our waitress was friendly. I did not like the fact that everyone's food did not come out at the same time. I was the last to be served, we were a party of 6. The Caramel Macadamia Nut Cheesecake was DELISH! I Would Not reccomend this place if you have a loved one with severe food allergies. Peanuts were in several items on the menu. I ordered off the Skinnylicious menu. I chose the mexican style chicken lettuce wraps. They were interesting, messy,& GOOD.

Get it TOGETHER!!!

Arrived @7:30pm put our name in hostess said 30 min wait no problem. We ended up sitting at the bar. The spot we were gonna sit at was dirty, they came and cleaned it up we were greeted by 1 of 3 bartenders, we ordered our drinks, unfortunately my drink tasted no better than a Girl Scout Lemonade stand and we waited quite sometime to try and catch a bartenders attention.. The new one that was made came out as it should. We took about 5-10 minutes to narrow our choices down from the menu. We ordered our food, my food order was modified due to my ALLERGIES. Bartender repeated it back and he was correct.. I ordered Chicken Lettuce wraps I had them leave off crema, pico de Gallo, corn salsa so it was just Chicken (well done dry) avocado and the lettuce very very simple. Our order comes out my chicken was undercooked, no avocado so I sent it back. My friend’s food was cooked correct, they waited patiently for my dish to come back out cause they didn’t want to start eating without me. My dish came out again and it was still improperly prepared, sent it back again. HOW HARD IS IT TO PREPARE AVOCADO, LETTUCE,CHICKEN? One of the managers stopped and apologized assuring us it would be remedied. My friend’s dish is now cold. We never saw a new dish arrive nor anyone from management. Keep in mind that there was only 8 patrons and 3 bartenders at the bar. The level of consumer awareness was extremely neglectful. This is a service industry and attention to the patron is their priority. I never received my order after an hour. This was supposed to be a pleasant experience and became a nightmare. One person ate cold food while the other received nothing. Bad drinks, bad food, neglect and indifference from staff and management. If this is what you are looking for I strongly recommend this establishment. We definitely have enjoyed other Cheesecake Factory locations but this one has failed. I’m beginning to question weather I should visit any others

Worse than New Orleans

By Lglsmrty13 |

Ok so yeah total botch job, ordered my usual... salad for an appetizer and fried macaroni cheese balls for entree, waited ten minutes for dressing and guess what came out while I was still waiting for my dressing. Immediately asked for a manager cuz Cory (waiter) has a major attitude and who comes with my dressing finally? Mr Attitude, I tell him this is not acceptable to me because I don't want to eat cold mac n cheese balls and he says "sorry want me to take em back to grill area while you eat ur salad"? Ummm nooooo I don't, I want you to get me fresh ones when I'm almost done with my salad but I didn't say that I just sarcastically said great job! Then manager came and I explained, to which he took them and said he would get me fresh. I think this is my last visit to any Cheesecake Factory because the service level is that of wow can't even say McDonald's cuz I get great service there. Btw did I say it was a Friday night and there was hardly anyone there when I arrived! No excuses for the now two times I've been severely disappointed by this chain!!!! Get it together people

lovely salads and more

By ConnieatBamff |

We had lunch on Labor Day at the Cheesecake Factory and it was a perfect choice for us. There is a great selection of soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches and much more. Two of us decided to split the Asian Chicken Salad - it was yummy and so glad we split it because there was more than enough food on the plate for two. Another person with us had the lettuce wrap which was tasty and so attractively presented. Our waitress was very good and ever so helpful. She even wrapped up the lettuce wrap (another huge serving) for us to take home. Great lunch.

A great surprise

By Cubatao |

Well the great surprise came with the menu. I didn't expect to find many and good options and the price is not that bad. I tried a caribean food with beans and other good stuff (I am sorry I forgot the name of the plate) and the rest of my trip I returned there to eat. And I didn't eat the cheesecake...can you believe it? next time I will.

Just love it

By Mohamed A |

Just love the Louisiana pasta dish, i always go for it with the less calories cheesecake :) but however who cares about calories:) it worth every bite

Great meals

By Flavio Niemeyer |

Wide variety of plates from skinny to steaks, going through pastas, burgers and seafood. But dessert is the best.

VERY DELICIOUS THIS TIME

By gailhouston |

First time back in over 2 years at this location …. excellent service … lady by the name of Courtney took care of us … so attentive and friendly. we split the chicken teriyaki and white rice and added a small Caesar salad. everything was so fresh and yummy. The bread and butter is delicious too! We never have room for dessert, but it all looks good too.

Skybridge to the Westin Memorial hotel

By Hermes_NL 🇳🇱 |

This Cheesecake Factory is just outside the Memorial City Mall and connected by a skybridge over Gessner road to the Westin Memorial Hotel and the Memorial Hermann hospital. Very easy to get there from the hotel, no car needed! However should you come by car, there is the large car park of the mall and valet parking. And even an eVGO charging station for electric vehicles just across the street! It is a busy, nicely adorned bakery and restaurant with a busy large central dining room, extensive outside seating which can be covered, and also a rotunda shaped side room which is great for family parties etc. The menu is very extensive and covers a wide range of American cuisine and of course cakes and pastries. The food was good, but not one of the best meals we ever had. Price/quality ratio is fine.

crowded but good

By waterbuffaloes |

This place was crowded and we had to wait for 45 minutes or so. The food was great. There is a big cheesecake selection to choose from and it was great as well.

Next time - sweet only!

By NewcastleMax |

Had made a special effort to visit The Cheesecake Factory but ate too much of the gorgeous savoury food and could not manage a sweet. Will learn by my mistakes!

Delicious food

By ufcchick2014 |

Had a great time eating here. The food and atmosphere is always consistent any location that you go too..Love it and love the cheesecake!

Dinner time with a large family

By Rufat Zelimkanovich |

Dear All, Visited many times and here right now. The Best cheescakes in the city. The Best delicious salads. The ornaments and comfort are on a high level. Service people are trained well. Advice to all who interested in a very sharm and smart conditions. They had a bar, but this is not like a sport bar, this is high level bar. In one word, quality for a good price.

Nothing special

By bigrpc13 |

Situated at Memorial Mall this restaurant offers lots of free parking. Can't help but think all dishes are expensive. 5 of us ate. Food arrived at different times meaning one of us had finished eating whilst one of us were waiting for food.

Nice place, Good service

By tobaccocay |

Arrived with 2 year old twins, and the staff loved them. Everything the staff did was appreciated. I would come back for them. The food was ok , nothing bad but not great. Then again when there is a 24 page what can the cooks do, you cannot be good at everything.

Birthday 🎉

By Travelito T |

I just love this place. Amazing menu and great service. We don't have to wait longer for a table. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with a Godiva cheesecake. Perfect place to celebrate mili birthday.

Normally LOVE the Cheesecake Factory BUT??

By M S |

You can always count on the food to be good at the Cheesecake Factory but this particular location is AWFUL!!! I ordered the chicken and biscuits. There was little if any seasoning, little if any gravy, my biscuits were hard as a rock and chicken was just OK...I was so disappointed!!!

Incredibly overrated.

By Jeremy T |

Food took 40 minutes to arrive, fries came 12 minutes after the burger arrived (with the cheese utterly congealed on the burger and plate upon arrival) - and they were cold. We waited extra for cold fries?? The server checked back halfway through eating, had a full mouth and couldn't speak so she loudly pronounced everything "amazeballs". Server did not check back for refills, we didn't even see her again till check time. This place is totally overrated.

If you can overlook poor service, you will enjoy the food

By Avijit R |

Saturday afternoon. Picking up stuff from Sephora and L'Occitane to cart back home in a distant land. Feeling hungry. So, Cheesecake Factory. You have to wait a bit with a buzzer in hand to get a table. Get hungrier. You sit down. You wait. You wait a bit more. You wait 25 minutes. Guests at the next table start sympathizing with you. Their server is nice. In fact, she gets me a glass of water. And calls my server. My Chicken Cream Soup arrives soon, thankfully. Soul food. Full of goodness. Red bell peppers lending a nice overtone. With a chunk of warm oat bread. I am happy. My salmon is plated nicely - an even crust of basil-tarragon, generous fillet, cooked just right, bed of garlic mash, four sticks of asparagus. I am at peace. I actually leave a small tip.

Awful

By lucy c |

Awful quality food doesn’t meet up to reputation of Cheesecake Factory I have sampled in other parts of the world. Food was cold, chicken was uncooked. The girl waitress has such an attitude NEVER COME AGAIN. Such a disappointment

Lots of Food, Nice Environment

By Nyeta |

I like Cheesecake Factories and this one is was a very good one! Unlike others that waited to be seated, we were taken to our table within minutes. Of course, we were there on a Thursday night at 6:30pm. The selection of food is so varied and the amounts they give you is SO much as is the standard. The service was excellent. We had eaten so much food that we elected to take our cheesecake dessert with us to have a little later in the hotel. Like many others walking out, we had our cheesecake doggie bag (smile). If you have never been to a Cheesecake Factory, or if you are a Cheesecake Factory fan, I encourage you to give this one a try! I do not think you will be disappointed.

Great food, terrible experience, never returning

By nancydHouston |

My sister wanted to go here for her birthday celebration so 7 of us went.We love the food but just about when our entrees arrived a kid at the next table began crying & screaming. After 5 minutes of the 2 adults at the table just continuing their meal and looking at the kid amidst the glares of everyone else in the small alcove we asked for the manager. He came over and said there was nothing he could do except get the kid some ice cream to distract her. Now we are going on 10 minutes of screaming and we are all unable to eat, except for the couple with the kid, of course. Everyone in the room is staring at them and the female gets up and gets her purse AND STARTS TO WALK AWAY WITHOUT THE KID! My sister stopped her as she tried to walk past our table and told her she needed to get the kid out of there. I seconded the motion. Woman says it is not her problem, it is HIS problem, so now we are figuring out she is not the mom or wife of the jerk still eating away and just watching the kid melt down. We don't care, tell the woman to take care of it. Ice cream arrives and upsets kid even more. FINALLY these people get up and leave, after the woman threatened me and I told the waiter to give our check for 7 to that couple. Our celebration is ruined, my sister now has a headache and is not feeling much like a birthday girl. Manager returns to our table and offers 1 free dessert for our trouble. SERIOUSLY? He said they could not intervene because they might get sued. Yes, they sure might, by us! Lunch tab was over $200. End result, 7 people will never return here, I'm chatting with my attorney tomorrow, and telling everyone I know about this experience. At the very least the manager should have reseated the people with the screaming kid, or offered to reseat us.

One of Our Go To Restaurants

By CJ R |

Family or friends - we know that there is something for everyone at The Cheesecake Factory. The menu is phenomenal! The service is always good, too. We have never been disappointed.

i go for the amazing Red Velvet Cheesecake!

By Kimmvel |

There is usually a 20 minutes wait on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The service is great and food comes out within a reasonable time.

VERY DISAPPOINTED THIS TIME

By gailhouston |

My husband and I went last night. We ordered the same entree we have previously ordered numerous times. Chicken teriyaki with white rice. The restaurant NEGLECTED to tell us that they changed the quality of chicken from a chicken breast to all dark meat, which is disgusting .. all fatty and not edible ... Barely gave us any white rice ... So disappointed. Server was great but food poor. Manager comped our meal, but it still upsets me that they didn't change the menu to specify the changes. When you click on chicken teriyaki, they show this beautiful photo of a chicken breast with tons of teriyaki sauce ... I called two other locations in Houston (Galleria and Sugarland) and manager said that they use a chicken breast, so I am not sure why Memorial City decided to ruin a meal which used to be delicious.

Lunch for two

By guinnessc |

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here! Table for two on the porch was incredible. Light breeze and the fans going overhead. The waterfall and light music was an added nice touch. The food and service was very good! Attentive but not over bearing during a very busy time for them. I appreciated that.

Retired Fan

By Scarlet G |

I used to be a fan of Cheesecake factory for years, but recently at all three locations in Houston I have found the service to have gone down along with the quality of the food. They also have removed long time food options like the teriyaki chicken. I have waited for long periods of times for orders or food forgotten. I wish things were how they used to be because it felt like a restaurant that was consistent in nature and somewhere I knew I would have a good meal no matter what and worth the money, but not anymore.

Great food, but a little noisy.

By Troy F |

We drove in from New Orleans to meet with family members we had not seen in months. We really enjoyed the meals, but the company was lacking due to the noise level. Really, the food was fantastic and they gave overwhelmingly large portions. It's just that it was hard to hear what anyone was saying if they more than two seats away from you. It was a Sunday afternoon and very busy, so busy at the mall that it took about five minutes to locate a parking space.

The place to go for more than cheesecake!

By Patricia T |

I love this restaurant and we try to go each time we are in a city that has one! I like the Mac & Cheeseburger (it's my fave) but this time it didn't have enough cheese for me! The staff was EXCELLENT! The cheesecake was to die for!

Delicious cheesecake

By CNNU |

I'm not really a fan of cheese cake but these were fantastic. The place was really busy so I was unable to get a table for lunch but the cheesecakes more than made up for that. I would definitely visit there again if given the chance.

No room for cheescake after a delicious meal

By LissaLou2014 |

We ate here twice while visiting my dad at the nearby hospital. Both times were great - we stuffed ourselves on the main course and were too full to try the cheesecake. I hope to try dessert there one day! Our waiters on both occasions were wonderful, attentive, and very friendly. Food was excellent on both trips as well.
