Restaurant was in small mall on the boardwalk. My husband said he had the best Halibut Filet ever. I had a salad and crab stuffed mushrooms. The 2 appetizers were enough with the bread loaf. We didn't have to wait but I'm sure during the summer it would be packed.

We were so excited to eat here after an amazing harbor boat tour. We ordered the stuffed crab mushrooms, a bowl of the clam chowder, halibut fish and chips, regular fish and chips, chicken tenders and the kids mini corn dogs. The halibut was completely over cooked and dry. So was the regular fish and chips. The corn dogs were actually burnt and all the fries were slightly warm and it looked like they were left out under the heat lamp. The mushrooms tasted of cheese and nothing more. We tried to find the crab but were unsuccessful and saddened. By the experience. The chicken tenders were actually good and moist. The clam chowder was warm and was pretty good. I wish it was actually hot, I would think it would have tasted better. We spent over $120 for a lunch that wasn’t worth it in the least. I think this place must rely heavily on its location and view of the bay. I would not recommend this place at all unfortunately. I love fresh fish and chips and this placed failed miserably.

The food was excellent. We had jumbo Alaskan crab legs. The place is very, very busy and the poor servers are stretched thin. Ours did as good a job as could be expected, but there were definite gaps in the service (like really hard to get a drink refilled). We thought it was a nice stop for an immersive seafood experience in Seattle.

Thought we went for crab but it turned out there was a hidden treasure on special. 1 pound of large juicy Washington mussels. Broth was flavored with celery, onion and I think sweet banana peppers - when paired with our sour dough bread appetizer it was perfect! Our server Ryan had a great personality and was attentively watching our table and was quick to refill drinks. We just had to tell his manager how much we enjoyed our lunch and the restaurant. Dessert was a surprise- cheesecake with a raspberry sauce- yummy!

What a great place to take family. Usually have to wait to get table but not long. Server was fast n food came out even faster. Dump crab on table and u use a hammer to break open pieces. It was a lot of fun. Looking forward to coming back

As a crab and seafood lover, I was excited to try the huge seafood boil at the Crab Pot. However, it was somewhat of a let down. My husband and I shared "The Westport" and the portion was disappointing. Not much crab and everything was just ok. Drinks were watered down and overall, we felt everything was overpriced. This is certainly a tourist trap- don't come here if you actually enjoy fine seafood.

We visited during our recent girls trip to Seattle. My niece and friend had the seafood feast and they loved every bite! I had the crab Ceasars salad and it was delicious. We also had the clam chowder, it was good. The only thing keeping this review from being a five star was the service from our waitress. Not every attentive. We had to stop other waitstaff to either get more service and to ask for our bill. Then she took long to return my friends credit card and once again we had to ask someone to find her. It was an overcharge that she was fixing, but would of been good if she had asked someone to let us know.

Over Priced versus Value! Crab Pot Menu should include only Sea Food Items. Why they include POTATOES, CONRN AND PORK SAUSAGES IN IT??? In my opinion it is a CHEATING! In their Menu, Crab Pit Price is Mentioned $:67/- PER PERSON. But a PERSON CAN NOT ORDER ONE CRAB POT??? HE/SHE HAS TO ORDER MINIMUM (2) CRAB POTS??? WHICH IS NOT MENTIONED IN THEIR MENU??? In my opinion, THIS IS A OPEN CHEATING!!! We could get our Table after (40) MINUTES. They do not accept Table Reservations. There is no place to sit and wait for (40) Minutes???

Real good place the food was excellent our waiter was the Best. It was spendy but well worth it. First time but for sure will be back.

We dropped in here for drinks and snacks one lunchtime after walking around the city. We sat at the bar, the server was really nice and friendly. The crab and prawn dip was really nice and was just what we needed.

I loved the place, the food and the concept. If you like seafood and a relaxed atmosphere, it is the ideal place. I recommend visiting when you are in Seattle. It's a unique experience.

Let’s face it, this is a touristy place pure and simple. You can get just as good or better seafood in numerous restaurants in Seattle, but the Crab Pot is the only one down in the middle of the action on Pier 57 and the only one where they cover your table with butcher paper and then dump the contents of a pot of seafood on the table for you and your party to devour. Right there, that is half the fun and what makes this place unique. And so many agree with this that on our recent visit in early April not the tourist season, and in the midst of a pandemic, there was an hour and a half wait to get in. However, they will take your cell phone number and text you when your table is ready so you can walk around and shop or even go up the Great Wheel. This place is a classic and definitely worth a stop on your next Seattle vacation.

We had an excellent waiter who recommended the steelhead trout and halibut, both fresh. Grilled and seasoned to perfection. Good side vegetables. Reasonable price for our food, Most around us seemed to be enjoying the sea feasts.

The waitress was terrific, raw oysters were good, we had the crab combo. Food was good, fresh, and plentiful. Bring your wallet. Dock seating but no view of Elliott Bay

The fish and chips were pretty good, but any restaurant that sneaks a 3% surcharge in at the end (that it explicitly says does not go to staff) gets a failing grade. This is a deceptive, slimy business practice. Just raise menu prices instead of tricking people.

The location and atmosphere are top notch. The food are drinks are above average and the service is outstanding. I definitely recommend sitting outside on the pier if possible to enjoy the views.

On a trip to Seattle, our family went to The Crab Pot for lunch. This was a great find since we had a large group and many restaurants could not take us without a long wait. Great crab cakes and chowder. Our group loved everything. Well worth a stop if you are in the area.

The crablegs, and shrimp were so fresh. No wait for a table and prompt fast and friendly service. Restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Amazing place for excellent seafood. Really can’t fault it It’s not cheap but I don’t mind that when I think I’m getting value for money

I love this style of restaurant, which is very simple, and with great quality of food, practically throw a bucket of seafood on the table and eat them with your hand, I recommend going to a non-peak time, because if you can not make a queue that lasts long

Most items are fried, a waiter suggested the Captain's platter, salmon, haddock, shrimp and a few others, we did-typical wharf food, nothing to write home about.

This is one of our favourite restaurants in Seattle and we eat here whenever we travel here. There is good variety on the menu for food and beer. The quality, portion sizes and taste are great. The location is right on the waterfront and is always busy, which is a good sign as lots of people enjoy eating here. There are a wide variety of selection for the buckets of seafood, potatoes and sausage, as well as many other fish and non-fish options.

This was recommended by our hotel staff. Yes. This is in a busy and touristy part. The food is fantastic and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff is fast and attentive. A must do experience for seafood lovers.

This place has great seafood. Started off with the Chowder in the bread bowl. Then we got the Dungeness crab and King Crab combo without the shrimp. My wife got the combo with the shrimp and the shrimp were watery. However, the meals were fantastic!! The service was great, and the atmosphere is just what you would expect on a pier.

Food was outstanding and portions were generous. Everything was cooked and seasoned well. Loved the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Great food and great service. They do not accept reservations. This place is tough to get seating on weekends unless you’re ok with waiting 2-3 hours. Great fried fish and great crab legs. Location is fun. Great place for the family.

Went for lunch. Very nice and friendly environment, We got our food fast and the portions was very generous. I asked for bread that wasn't part of the lunch and that was not a problem. Great place, great personnel and great food.

We dined at the Crab Pot on Alaskan Way. The Crab Pot Restaurant has a traditional seafood menu of grilled or fried seafood, chicken, hamburgers etc. Their specialty which the 4 of us ordered is known as the "Seafest". You have a choice of 4 types of Seafest's with 4 different prices. We had the basic Seafest that included shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes. The fun part, if you are in the mood, is that all is dumped on your table rather than being served in a dish. You will be eating off the table and it will be messy. Depending on your choice of seafood you can upgrade to one of the others that may include King Crabs, lobster etc at a higher cost. We also had the clam chowder which was excellent. I strongly recommend! Our server, Jose took the time to explain exactly what the Seafest was all about and the options we had. His personality added to the fun atmosphere and he tried hard to make our dinner a fun experience. He was successful. We ate outside overlooking a marina. Suggestion: The Crab Pot is located at the same pier as the Seattle Great Wheel so you may want to plan on doing the wheel and then a Seafest for a fun evening! Prices are reasonable and it's a great place to bring the family. On our next visit to Seattle we will be back and will upgrade to the King Crab Seafest!

Nice staff, good quality food, unable to justify the cost of a small basket of 6 shrimp and fries x2 with a modest tip $50.00 I went to attractions the harbor cruise and the big wheel they were very worth it's cost. Will never visit crab pot again. But to be fair it's quality was above good.

The service and atmosphere were great. The food was only ok, and two of us got violently ill after eating it. Pick another spot on the waterfront for seafood.

Food was okay, about what you would expect for a restaurant in a tourist area. Portion sizes are large, food is a little over priced, $18 dollars for a chicken sandwich. But it's what you get in that type area. But if you are in the area it has nice outside seating and the staff for the most part of friendly.

Bland luke-warm seafood and over-cooked corn spread out on a table is not a good way to experience Seattle's Dungeness crab. I am not sure if it's a chain restaurant, but it feels like one.

Great service, friendly helpful staff, great views of the waterfront. But best of all the food. Amazing crab! Nearly everyone has the seafood pot where they 'pour' the seafood onto the middle of the table and give you a fork and a hammer!! Its great. Something a bit different and they do these pots for one (you got a lot of Snow and Dungeness crab).

A good way to try different shell fish. Not much for vegetarians (daughter had a children’s menu to make it vegetarian). Chips could have been hotter. It’s a good location and a good vibe.

A good, relaxed dinner spot. The seafood boil was very good. The service was quick and steady. It was a lot of food for two people.

Wanted to enjoy some fresh seafood. Ordered the crab cake (specialty) and 1/2lb peel and eat shrimp. The crab cakes were small for the price and a high ratio of bread crumbs vs. crab. The shrimp were tasty but I didn’t realize they were whole shrimp and the heads are not my favorite.

This dining spot is right on Miner's Landing pier, and there's a lot there so it's kind of a trick to find the entrance (basically, go inside next to the ice cream counter, and go all the way back). Great atmosphere and views here. The food we got was very good, but clearly I missed the memo (Well, I did, I didn't even read up on this place) but the thing to get here is the crab boil. I loved watching all the people get their food brought to them in a big metal bowl and dumped onto the table brimming with shrimp, clams, corn on the cob, potatoes, etc... and it smelled so good I really regretted not getting that. I withheld one star because our server was pretty confused from time to time. I ordered the shrimp skewers meal, then specified rice on the side because the meal came with a veg and rice. I got one shrimp skewer and a bowl of rice pilaf, which was actually the perfect amount of food but given it was like order two side dishes, it came to $9 when the meal was $27, so the server's mistake saved us $18. Not complaining on that account. But then husband and minor daughter ordered lemonades. He ordered his as a hard arnold palmer and she had normal lemonade. Two identical drinks came and the server warned that one had alcohol and one didn't and he didn't know which. So they guessed. But both tasted the same. So either both were lemonade or both were very weak hard lemonade which is not what was ordered, but whatever. To be clear, these issues did not ruin our meal for us. They were pretty minor, with the one even working in my favor, so I didn't mind at all, but some people will be bothered my mix-ups, especially if the mix-up is important, such as an allergen issue, which is why I mention it. Anyway, if you go, do the crab pot for goodness sake and enjoy the view.

There were four in our party, and I don't think any of us were that impressed with our food - especially given the prices! I had crab cakes and struggled to find any crab in them at all. Our friends had the crab legs, and they were so small. I felt bad they paid what they did for them.

GREAT FOOD!! Excellent service We stopped in with 10 people. They were able to seat us immediately. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Halibut filet, shrimp tacos, clam scampi and a crab boil! All was EXCELLENT! I would definitely come back.

It was really disappointing. The snow crab was not good at all… Avoid the fish and chips… and the burger too I saw very good comments before coming , I don’t understand 🤔

*** I tried contacting the restaurant before leaving this review and they failed to call me back**** Took almost two hours to get our table and food. They nailed the bud light as that is hard to mess up. The seafood was very subpar. It tasted old and everything else cooked in the same pot with the snow crab tasted like old snow crab. The shrimp was over cooked. We had four clams and two muscles thy never opened which tells me they were bad or dead before they were cooked. I could have found much better seafood than that for the prices.

Great place to eat, we loved it. The seafood was great and the staff was very attentive. Nice atmosphere.

Loved the Clam Chowder bowl. We had a Sour Dough roll that was a little tough. Overall a nice venue, very well located and good food.

Got the salmon dinner at 7pm on a Sunday. They were out of cole slaw so offered substitutions - I chose Ceaser Salad. The salad was great, salmon was ok - you get two pieces and one was so overdone I didn’t even touch it. But the other was ok, so I agree with previous reviews saying this place will do in a pinch. Won’t eat here again.

This is a great time with great seafood. If you can, eat outside and enjoy the sunset. This is a fun meal with family or with a group. They give you bibs, a mallet and board and cover the table with paper. Then they dump the seafood into the table and you “have at it.”

Bland food. Not heated. Barley saw my server. I would pass not worth half the value For the $120 I spent I fee robbed. Move downtown for better less touristed themed food

Just walking distance from seattle downtown, we found this restaurant for waterfront view dining and were not disappointed at all, and we ended up going twice,1st time we ordered their special sea food feast, you have various options, but have to order twice as given price is per person, & you must order for two. Service was fast, and food was plenty and delicious. Next visit we ordered seafood chowder, and their catch of day and halibut fish&chips and everything was good, not extraordinary but tasted good and portions were big enough.Bit pricey when you add tax&tips.I have added their given menu.

In a city where prices are fairly more than what we are used to, it was great finding, discovering and enjoying our meal at The Crab Pot!

We arrived and were promptly seated and greeted. The wait staff was super friendly and food &drinks came quick. It was so good half of our party came back a second night

Overpriced, over cooked crab, undercooked vegetables, and understaffed. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait, so we walked around the mall a bit. We could see in the windows of the restaurant, every dining room was empty! We were seated on the outdoor patio, so dark we couldn't really see the menu. The service was horrible, we were told our waiter would be with us soon, he was busy in the kitchen slicing bread for the whole place. The crab was so overcooked it was hard to get out of the shell, the potatoes were raw in the center. We used the flashlight feature on our cell phone to make enough light to see by to eat. It used to be good, no more! $150.00 for two of us to eat, left hungry.

Everyone and I mean everyone suggested this spot!!!! We came in, greeted with a friendly staff, she made suggestions and it was glorious!!! Wife got crab cakes and Ceasar salad, daughter got salmon and chips and I got pasta with any fish still good!!! Definitely worth the try if you're in town!!!!

We just wanted a snack to hold us over until dinner. Ordered the calamari. Friends said it was super good. I ordered halibut bites, since halibut isnin season. Measly portion. And the bites were small. But they were tasty. Fries were crinkle cut and seasoned well. Service was good.

The salmon BLT was HUGE! Very tasty lunch. Wish we had gone for dinner to do a proper seafood feast. People around us were and it looked really good. The clam chowder was good and a large portion as well

Visited on a Saturday night. Group size 9. We were told 1 hour wait. No problem, walked around looking at souvenirs and people watching. No text to let us know table ready. Discovered our number was never taken / written down only name ( maybe they thought we wouldn’t wait). Finally after speaking to host we were seated. Server was kind but rushed , when I reminded server they forgot the bibs the reply was “ sorry I’ve been here from 11 this morning” still no bibs. We have eaten here before with smaller groups and had great service. Probably will not return in the future.

Bad service. I don't know if they don't like children, but the waiter even mistreated us. It was super weird. The food wasn't good either. I think it's more propaganda than reality.

This restaurant was below mediocre for a seafood dinner right on the wharf. The crab cakes were mostly flour and potato and were most likely from frozen food. The chowder was pretty tasteless and not fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant if you want a quality seafood experience in Seattle.

The Dungeness and snow crab was awesome! They dump out the food on the table. The red potatoes and corn were delish. We were the last ones in the restaurant and were taken care of by our server.

Went here as I have always wanted to try. Was not really impressed. I ordered fish and chips. I asked the waiter if it was like a beer batter. He said yes. It was not. It was breaded and baked which is way healthier but not what I wanted. The chips were the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. They were soggy and just not tasty at all they were like frozen fries but worse. I would suggest any other side but these. For a restaurant that is so well known I was really disappointed.

An all-time favorite restaurant that is a required stop every visit to Seattle. The house specialty is a black pot filled with seafood (type of seafood varies based on your selection from the menu), potatoes, corn and more. One pot feeds at least two people. Everything in the pot is steamed and delivered to your table and poured out onto the paper (new, clean) on your table. They'll also provide a bib and some eating utensils. Never a disappointment. This visit opted for the Westport, which includes two types of crab, mussels, clams, shrimp and more! Location is also great as it is right on the waterfront and located along a fun and scenic walking area.

Wow!!! One of my favorite seafood restaurants now. We ordered The Eastport which had a generous serving of lobster, peel and eat shrimp, snow crab, head on shrimp, andouille sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes. The food was well seasoned and delicious. We also ordered a side of sourdough bread and butter and half dozen of raw oysters in a half shelf.

Great location with excellent service and great food including delicious Dungeness crab cocktail! Outside wad not open but we had a nice view and tables were spaced apart.

Delicious food. Great vibe of restaurant. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes for a table for 5. Our waiter was very good and service was quick. Portions were large.

The food was excellent! Snow crab, dungeness crab, and king crab were all delicious. The portions are substantial, so I strongly advise sharing. The waiters and service were excellent, and the way the food is served makes for a pleasant experience. Watch my images for a clear understanding!

The food was fantastic and the view was great. There were four of us and each had something different. Couldn't decide who won for the best meal. (There is always a competition)

Loved this place. Fresh seafood. We had crab and shrimp boil laid out on the table. Came with bibs and potatoes and corn. I can’t wait to go back.

I have been to The Crab Pot several times whenever I am in Seattle. It is a great place to have fresh crab along with corn on the cob and potatoes. It's so fun to have a mallet and board to wack and open up the shell. Catylain was a great server and would highly recommend it for a place to have a great meal.

Me and my friend went to the restaurant downtown for the first time and we loved! Our server was super friendly and kind. On our last day we’ve found out that they have another address and we’ve decided to give it a try. It was so disappointing… our server was nice and we understand that in these times service is not easy to find but we didn’t like the Bellevue restaurant at all. Please take this as a constructive review and not in a bad way. We’ve regretted for not going to the downtown one.

Clam stripes lacked any flavor. Crab cakes were suboptimal. Clam chowder was good. Service was fair. I would give them a second chance.

We ate the King Crab, the richest of all, I had to learn to break crab, but it was a nice experience, plus we ate prawn, .

Food was ok. Crab legs were amazing. However there were hairs in 2 separate meals. (Adding a picture of one) Server just took it and left no apology or anything, working in the food industry I understand that it happens but the way it was not addressed by the server or management was unimpressive and unacceptable in my opinion.

Good food and great service. The crab looked wonderful but we were only there for a quick snack. We enjoyed chowder and Fish tacos.

This is one of many waterfront seafood restaurants in Seattle that serves very fresh seafood and fish. There are some ridiculous meal combinations available that look like they would serve 2 to 4 people rather than just 1. There are several different options for salmon although all grilled with a simple butter lemon sauce (with one exception of terikayi salmon) plus various other relatively standard seafood options. The appetizers were a little more creative than the entrees and the wine list was marginally better than some of the other local seafood restaurants.

The food was salty and couldn't really enjoy my meal. Some waiters need to go through a course for customer service. I don't expect waiters to greet me with a smile but at least don't look annoyed when taking my order.

Located in Pier 57 building at the Seattle waterfront area, this tourist spot is fun, not too busy but full of friendly and helpful staff. The beer is great, the chowder was better and the bar staff was enjoyable to chat with. She had some great food recommendations and I almost always follow staff's recco. as they know.... She also gave some pointers on how to visit the city and made the lunch very enjoyable. lots of room for larger groups and prices are very reasonable. Lots of things to do in the Pier 57 building as well.

This is a great restaurant for seafood right on the waterfront. The service was quick and friendly and the food really lovely. Highly recommend the chowder and crab stuffed salmon. But if a mallet and shell fish is more your thing they have loads of options for this as well.

So we ask our waiter to take a picture for us, he told us that he can’t take pictures on weekends because he is a professional photographer. So I am guess waitering is his weekend job, or he is just being an jerk? Anyways, the food is average, seafood is all overcooked, and its on the blend side, not very favorful, would not return for sure.

This was a great place to eat on the water. We got the crab pot and it was wonderful. All the seafood was wonderful and delicious. Definitely worth the money and experience.

Great seafood boils with many options. We had the Alaskan which featured king crab and dungeness along with clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes. I did not eat any of the potatoes, the rest was excellent. Although prices are high it is still a relatively ok value for the atmosphere and quantity of food. Service was very attentive and the food came out quickly. Give it a try when you are on the Seattle waterfront.

Great food + a little pricey but if you want great seafood make those one of your choices. We had the seafood platter.

It is an excellent option in Seattle, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is very good. It is worth ordering the packages with seafood, where the specialty is crab and they serve you on the paper tablecloth and they give you a mallet to eat and it is very well served. The Coho salmon is also very good and the crab cakes. Don't miss out on your visit to Seattle.

Came in for an early dinner on a Monday evening. We wanted the patio but were told it was full and the hostess couldn’t tell us how long of a wait it would be(!?) we took an inside seat and less than 3 min later we saw open tables on the patio se we asked to be moved. It was clearly a massive inconvenience based on the sighs and eye rolls we got but we were moved. We then waited 10 min+ for a waiter to even acknowledge us. We ordered everything at the same time and then waited again almost 15 min for our drinks and we even asked about them as we had waited so long. The restaurant wasn’t super busy so no idea what the issue was. The food took some time to arrive and when it did, it was excellent but we had to ask for more butter and the waiter never came back to check on us. We sat with a dirty table for quite some time before asking for the bill. We were not offered desserts or coffee. When he brought the bill my friend put her credit card out and he picked it up and walked away with it (where was the portable credit card machine?!). She followed him to the counter and he ran the card and then gave it to her to sign, circling the tip options(!). We were unclear how that would work as he had already processed the credit card so if we were inclined to tip him (we were not!) we weren’t sure how that would even happen. This place has been a go to for every visit to Seattle over the past 20+ years but the service was the absolute worst we experienced anywhere. The staff clearly hate their jobs and have no interest in customer service of any kind.

we were going to go to the seattle sourdough company but it was closed. this place was next door so we went here. we split a salmon tacos which was great and then a clam chowder which was also great. lotta people wearing bibs and hammering crab but we wernt that hungry. they had big bowls of crab.

Very busy, but food did not disappoint. We had a crispy bacon chicken burger which was probley the largest chicken burger i have ever had it was great had a little spice

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food (shellfish) and great service. We enjoyed our dinner at Crab Pot, it was a very memorable experience and worth the money. The seafood feast is a little expensive, but if you can swing it.. DO IT!!!

The waiter was in a bad mood. Some personal or workplace problem, but we didn't like the service. I am convinced that the fish was "refried". Hence the fear of having been someone's leftover........

The Crab Pot is a huge, busy, seafood paradise right on the waterfront on Pier 57. The nautical atmosphere is enhanced with the smells of freshly cooked crab as you make your way deep inside to one of the several dining rooms. The crowd was large on a rainy, cool Saturday night before our Alaskan cruise. We were seated in twenty minutes and met our waiter right away to take our drink orders. A very friendly, knowledgeable guy who explained the menu in detail. They offer anything from a standard fish fry to a more elaborate seafood bonanza served in a large pot and dumped right on the plastic tablecloth in front of you for all in your party to dig in and make a mess. Big fun for all if you're not a discriminating snob. Not a romantic dining experience, but meant for those looking for a quality seafood meal in an atmosphere you would expect on a wharf in a fishing town. A fun place for all ages with top-shelf service.

Great place to stop for lunch and drinks on the waterfront. Great atmosphere and handicap accessible! Clam chowder was awesome!!

To day nice cloudy day for walk , we wandering around the waterfront pies , I believe there is over 20 piers around the area , lot of seafood restaurants to choice from , I love all my girl friends , they all love food ! there is not much fresh seafood in U .k , so I took my girlfriend to the Crab Pot for a early or later lunch , after almost 3 hours walking on the pier , there is so much to seen and do , restaurant located on pier 57 in Miners Landing building , decor very relax and like old Gold Rush atmosphere unique with the decor , restaurant not busy at all , menu 80 % seafood , but there is chicken and a lot of option on the menu , we choice their Special , ** The Pacific ** for two , their concept is buckets of fresh seafood that dumped on to the tablet with mallets , Oh ! OULALU !!!!!! what a feasts , if you love and fussy about Seafood , this is the place , all the seafood so excellent fresh , I've arrived seafood heaven , o r like a cat among the pigeon , we all both enjoyed every things on the tablet , and we both coved with juices , butter just like two happy kids , not a thing too worry in the world , for sure we coming back tomorrow night ! so if you in the pier area , looking for a reasonable fresh seafood restaurant , The Crab Pot is the place , staff so friendly , very make our Lunch/Dinner so memorable .

Ate the classic pod upside down on the table with crab, clams, mussels, prawns, with a drizzle of sauce, ok flavour, nothing exciting, very pleasant atmosphere, made the mistake of asking for a slice of cake... Strawberry…They have huge portions! Very good

Seated quickly - no wait (at noon). Friendly and prompt service. Halibut and chips were good - they are panko breaded. Generous helping.

Our biggest mistake in Seattle! Tourist trap!!! Expensive crab meat covered in paprika powder! Just tasted of paprika!!! Plus half a corn cob and two small potatoes! No response to complaint!!! Far too expensive for bad food!!!

The server was very nice. The portions were large. The drinks were good. The potatoes and corn had paprika on them which I am not a fan of. The crab itself was very good and it is kinda fun hitting it with a mallet. Overall a good dinner and right on the water.

This was our choice for seafood while visiting the waterfront. Service was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. Sourdough bread is provided as an appetizer. We all got the shrimp, corn, and potatoes. It was a generous portion and delicious! Reasonable price for meal. There is also a front area of this restaurant where you can order at the counter and take the food to your seat. If you are in the area and want seafood, I would recommend.

Their clam chowder was AMAZING!!!! Food review: 5 out of 5 stars. Seafood was outstanding as well as their teriyaki sandwich. Wait: a bit of a wait but food is great Seating: Indoor and outdoor- if you want a water view, there seating is not the best outside Drinks: Try the Tsunami or Pirate’s Punch Ambience: Nice Service: Friendly and great

The grace of the restaurant are the seafeasts. Vc chooses a combo of seafood and they play directly on the table for us to eat with our hands. Comes with a delicious pepper and butter. It's very worth it, even for those who don't like crabs very much, because the here is very well tempered

With Covid still being an issue -- it was wonderful to order hot, fresh, fantastic seafood "to go" and enjoy it just a block down the road at a table with a view of the ocean. We ordered fish and chips and an oyster po-boy --- both were very flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Great friendly, fast and efficient service on a busy weekend. Highly recommend!!

I had the coconut prawns appetizer and a Caesar salad. The prawns were pretty good. The salad was small and basic for the price. My husband had crab. It was fine… nothing special. There are way better seafood restaurants in Seattle. The servers were really friendly.

We stayed with the family to enjoy a King crab. Good food but normal, not spectacular, local good atmosphere and decoration

Large restaurant with plenty of tables. The serve lobsters with hammers so the restaurant is as tidy as it could be considering that. Also expect tables nearby to be hammering away at their shellfish. The food was reasonably priced and pretty good. Nice seafood.

This review is based on appetizer only. We had chowder and crab cakes. The chowder was very salty which made it difficult to eat. I sent back the crab cakes as they were all filling and no crab, a big disappointment even as they say "specialty" on the menu. I would recommend getting the crab pots that serve two or more people, many tables had them. We wanted a simple light meal which is why we went apps only. I ate at other establishments earlier in week and I always like to try different places.

I thought the food was awful. A very expensive waste of money. The Dungeness, Snow Crab & Shrimp in the Shell with corn and potatoes is what we both had, the corn was good. I might go again to try something else.

Perfect location by the Great Wheel, Aquarium and Pike’s Market. The seafeasts look amazing. Wasn’t hungry enough to order one of those so got a dozen oysters and the Dungeness crab cocktail. Fantastic. The oysters a bit small, but decently priced. Will have to come back for a feast.

My visit here was good. The waiter was very helpful when my partner had an issue with his food arriving with mayonnaise after requesting it off; he was very apologetic, attentive and fixed the issue. The food was average, it wasn't amazing but it wasn't boring. I've unfortunately had better clam chowders elsewhere. Although, I believe their specialty is the crab which we didn't actually try because of how expensive it was. I wouldn't jump to come here again because of the high prices and the average food but I also wouldn't not recommend to others as it may be within their budget and taste buds!

It is not as great as what I've heard everyone and by reviews have mentioned. Just boiled. No special seasonings. No thx.

Go through the tunnel / alley to get to this restaurant. The portions are large. Options other than seafood. Will likely have a small wait. It’s very busy- we popped over to the arcade while we waited. Prepare to have crab fly on your table / in your hair 😂 as every table is hammering away at their crab legs. I’m not sure that we would return but definitely a must try.

I'd always wanted to try a seafood boil up and when researching our trip, we looked at this place and it looked good with a lot of good reviews. We tried it the first day we were there for dinner and and it was an hour wait to get a table. We decided to try it the following day for a late lunch / early dinner. Its a place where its first come / first serve with no reservations. The next day, we went for lunch and got a table with a view over the pier. The only issue with the table, was it was near a door where staff were going in and out and this led to a cold draft. We ordered the Alaskan feast and waited for the meal to come. When it came, it was steaming hot and smelled delicious. I like the whole theatre of it being poured onto the table and then using your hands and mallet to devour the meal, wearing a bib to keep your clothes clean. This was actually a necessity. It was absolutely delicious, we really enjoyed it. I washed it down with a lovely can of local cider to boot. Its expensive but you need to try it at least once. A good meal.

Had heard so much about this seafood restaurant on the pier so we had to try it. We sat on the lovely patio which is adorned with flowers and a great view. The service is good and friendly. It’s an experience with the shellfish and crab being thrown on the table and given a mallet and plank to hammer on the crab to crack them instead of the usual nutcrackers. A bit messy as the bits and juices fly around to other guests. Fun times though. The quality of the food for the price ($60-65 pp) was disappointing. The flavour was quite bland and because everything is thrown down on the table, by the time it takes you to eat some of the crab legs, the food gets cold quite quickly. Overall I was happy with the experience but disappointed with the food. Good place for tourists to visit once but can’t imagine I’ll be going back.

Nothing out of this world. I ordered shrimp and I can’t tell you it was great. Nothing to write home about, nor would I highly recommend.

Completed disappointed in their King Crab. It was rubbery and dry. I have never seen King Crab that small. Their coconut prawns and oysters were good, but the fact that we paid 120 for bad crab makes me never want to go back. When I approached the manager, he offered to get me more crab and I declined… that was it. Paid full price for sub-par seafood.

Excellent food a great service for an evening with extended family. All the food looked appetizing and Kendall's service was great.

Well, we enyoed the fish and chips and our Ipa’s, but this is just an average tourist destination. Good location at the waterfront, and the food is good, but nothing spectacular. You can go for a quick bite or a seafood platter, but thats it. Service was above average though.

Delicious fresh seafood! The ocean view was beautiful. Our waiter was educational and exceptional. There were several non seafood options for those who don’t prefer seafood

7:48pm. Business hours showed closes at 8:30pm. Owner or manager told us we are closed. Tried tipping $100.00 bill for a seat at the bar and was asked to leave

We were down at the waterfront and we were hungry for fish/seafood but didn’t want a huge meal. Stopped here & had The Wahoo Tacos and they were outstanding. Service was friendly and relatively quick. Would def eat here again. And seriously—-try the tacos!!

Chose this restaurant based on reviews. Very disappointed. Stopped around 4 pm to put our name down for 7:45 and was told we wouldn't need reservation. Arrived at 7:30 & had 45 min wait. Menu had items that tho $55/per person - you couldn't order unless 2 or more people. Ridiculous. Waitress was very nice but inefficient & disorganized. Example, brings out silverware after food arrives. Observed same for tables around us. Food was ok but nothing great. Bill came & I was charged $34 for salmon. Pointed out menu listed it as $28. After another 10 minutes [she discussed with coworker then told us she had to get manager] made adjustment on new bill. Nothing for their mistake or our time. Makes me wonder how many customers have been over charged throughout day/month/year?

We waited online at 5 o’clock and left our name & number. :45 later we moved to the next line and we’re seated at a table in the bar area. The menu looked very nice, I was intrigued by the seafood pots but they were around $100 and we had to crack the shells our self. My husband doesn’t like working for his dinner. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. I had stuffed salmon with boiled potatoes, carrots, cauliflower & broccoli. It was OK, I thought the fish was a little overcooked and the vegetables didn’t have much flavor. My husband enjoyed his fried fisherman’s platter with juicy Sweet clam strips, shrimp, cod and fries

This restaurant is conveniently located near Seattle Great Wheel, so you can knock out both of those within a few hours. This was a really nice lunch spot and the reviews were glowing I wanted to give it a try. Especially because I love seafood! My friends and I split mussels and fish & chips. Everything was flavorful including the sourdough bread and butter. Perfect for soaking up the juice of the mussels in wine broth.

Awesome location. Awesome prices. Awesome waiter. Great view of water. Our waiter was very helpful and fun. Even offered ideas for the rest of our trip. The FOOD....wow great taste and very fresh. Hubby had crab stuffed salmon and I had Cap'n combo. Excellent and very fair prices. Sorry I forgot to get pictures!

The waiter will “suggest” you get the baked Alaska which is the more expensive pot. He will say the other pots have hardly any crab. He will say it will put a smile on your face. What he should say is that you will laugh at the size of the shrimps. You pay so much, me and wife’s bill was around 170 with 1 beer and 1 soda not including tip. You deserve bigger shrimps, period. Pass, pass, pass….

I'm trying to find something nice to say. Hmm probably should have got the seafood boil. Terrible cold band food and terrible service. We received cold bland chowder, slopped over the side of the bowl onto the serving plate. the fried oysters were just horrible, like they had already been chewed before being crumbed and fried. Prawn tacos were soft tacos that had gone hard. eeww. All our mains were served, and still no drinks in sight. After we asked about them they appeared- obviously been forgotten . There was not one nice thing any of the 4 of us ate. And full plates taken away without comment from the wait staff, so I gues they are used to people hating the food.

I prefer the Bellevue location since it's easier to get to but the view at the Seattle location is the best! I recommend the Seafood feast for 2 or more. There is plenty of food and it's fun to eat with your hands! Love the food and my server was very attentive. It was a perfect birthday dinner!

The location is good, and we had a nice water view. Our server was good. The food was good, not great. I thought the crab and other seafood dishes were over-priced. My wife and her friend, both Filipinas, didn't like the dry seasoning on the mixed seafood. They expected a wet sauce. I thought the crab cakes were very good.

The food is delicious. It can be a bit pricy but it’s in line with the cost of most things in Seattle. It’s a fun place to eat and the food is really good. I love going here. It’s been a few years but still a great meal.

Had the halibut and chips which were positively horrible. Husband had a scampi linguine which wasn’t bad but in herbal it’s overrated, overpriced and a tourist trap. The server dumped the check on our table before we even asked for it. I found that shockingly bad form.

This is a popular spot that is decently priced. It’s self serve tables and it’s pretty crowded as well as a bit dirty. Bathrooms desperately needed cleaned and while there was an employee in putting new towels in and toilet paper on, they should not have let it get in that shape before addressing it.

The service was great but the food did not measure up to it. Cioppino looked very attractive but the sauce was thin and not very tasteful. The sauce soaked into the bread bowl and became a gummy blob. The Stuffed Halibut was not fresh and tasted off.

We have gone to the Crab Pot many times over many years. My favorite item has always been the cioppino in the bread bowl. The seafood and sauce mixed with the scrapings of the bread bowl always tasted wonderful to me. I have considered the Crab Pot cioppino the best. I don't even consider it cioppino unless it comes in a bread bowl. We decided to head to the Crab Pot yesterday for the first time since before the pandemic. I looked forward to it all day. When my cioppino arrived in the beloved bread bowl, it had crab legs dangling on top and mussel shells sticking out from the broth. Heaven was again in front of me. I took the meat from the crab legs and shells placing them into the broth. Next, I used my spoon to get the insides of the bread bowl off and mixed it with the broth to make it just the way I like it. Oh yes! This is going to be so good again. I took my first bite and enjoyed it. Then another. But, quickly, something wasn't the same. Large pieces of celery had been added to the broth. These celery pieces were hard, distracting from the texture of the broth, and did not improve the taste of the cioppino. I had to dig out the celery to enjoy my cioppino the way Crab Pot had made it in the past. Unfortunately, the Crab Pot cioppino has slid down my ranking. I'm so bummed.

We went here on Friday afternoon. A friend had recommended this place if we were going to the waterfront. We waited 10 minutes for a table. The place was very noisy and crowded. We both ordered the coconut prawns and clam chowder. We asked our server how many prawns came on an order, She said five. I got seven and my wife got four, so we shared. The clam chowder was cold and not that great, Service was good but the atmosphere was a bummer. To make matters worse, the couple at the next table, who were drinking margaritas and doing shots of tequila, seemed to delight in smashing their empty crab shells into tiny bits with the mallet that you use to crack open your crab, After they left, we watched the busboy clean up their mess, shaking his head in disgust when he left. I guess you can run into obnoxious behavior at any restaurant. Not going to hold the restaurant responsible for the rude behavior of some of their guests. Probably would not go back here.

It is the only buffet in Korea, or even the world, where you can enjoy unlimited expensive Spiny Lobster, Uni Caviar, Truffle Snow Crab, Dungeon Crab, and Korean Beef. I was very happy to be able to eat delicious food in a nice atmosphere on the 52nd floor of Lestrong, the highest place in Gangnam.

We ordered one of the bucket options - snow crab, dungeoness crab, shrimp, clams, muscles, corn, sausage, and potatoes - all dumped on the table for a feast It was a lot of food and it was all great. Br prepared for a wait. Get checked in, then go walk around the piers, go on the wheel, we waited 1:20 and it passed pretty quickly

Great food especially the sauce with the seafood. Use the house sauce. It was perfect with the seafood and I never had anything like it. Excellent. service. A bit pricy

Great seafood excellent location good service not fancy but excellent I suggest going there when in Seattle. Try the crab and shrimp.

We LOVED our experience but had done our homework. We knew this was a very, very busy and casual restaurant. The food was hot, delicious and just the right amount. Our waiter was attentive and helped us with any questions.

Good food! We sat outside & enjoyed watching nearby boats coming in. I had Seafood Louie salad- OMG- tons of shrimp(very tiny though), crabmeat & more. Couldn’t eat it all. Service good.

It's sad to say but service was great. however the crab pot is overly priced and so so bland! No taste and the butter is just butter. Very cold inside the restaurant so your food gets cold quick and of course your butter that is bland just turns into a ball of fat in a few minutes. The mussels and clams just had a bad taste to them that i don't know if I would ever try them again.

The crab pot restaurant located on the waterfront has a excellent selection of seafood to choose from if your really hungry they have a Royal Feast which includes several different crabs lobster, red potatoes , sausage , corn

I stopped here for lunch. I was by myself. I was quickly seated at a lovely table on the deck. Staff efficiently took my order and brought drinks. I ordered a salad and stuffed mushrooms. The portions were enormous. The salad was large enough for a couple of servings. The stuffed mushrooms were hot, cheesy and very delicious. The staff frequently checked to see if I needed anything. Staff were friendly, asked questions. The waitress made sure I had silverware, napkins, etc to take with me when I left. I would definitely eat there again if I am ever in Seattle.

We loved going to the Crab Pot for an early lunch on a beautiful Friday. We had fish dinners with French fries, and a few cold beers for a delightful afternoon. The food was fresh, reasonably priced and there were good vibes at this restaurant. We would come back.

Great spot for dinner on the waterfront. Had to get the Captain’s Combo. Five different fish deep fried in Pablo served with fries and coleslaw. Filled me right up. The shrimp boil satisfied Mary as well.

This is a very interesting place if you love seafood. If you order one of the seafood platters, the server lays out a clean disposable tablecloth on your table and then dumps a huge bowl of seafood on the table. The huge bowl is placed on the ground and the shells and such are tossed in the bowl. It’s an experience. Unfortunately, I don’t eat seafood and so can’t comment on the taste. One in my party ordered the salmon steak and said it was very good. There were no vegetarian choices, and the side dishes were not listed. So I just ordered the watermelon salad which was actually great, although rather expensive for what it was. All in all, if you eat seafood you’ll enjoy this place and if not there isn’t much else to eat. We ordered a dessert afterwards and their strawberry rhubarb cake was huge and delicious.

The Crab Pot features a variety of seafood feast, but fortunately it's a meal for two and I didn't being a seafood eating dining partner. We enjoyed watching others devour their feast. Our food was good, in particular, the Oysters Rockefeller.

The ambience is what makes this place good. The food is good, but the prices are very high. Wait staff did a great job. Nice restaurant with ocean views.

I’ve been to the crab pot in the past and had much better quality of seafood. The shrimp were the smallest I’ve ever seen there and the temperature of the seafood feast was tepid at best

On a recent visit to Seattle my wife and I had dinner here. The food was very good and the service was excellent. We were able to sit outside right on the water and it was great.

We shared some coconut shrimp and a crab and salmon plate that included corn on the cob and potatoes. Everything was VERY GOOD! And our served, Clarissa was very friendly and attentive!

We dined on a late lunch of several different seafood appetizers and everyone of them was absolutely delicious. Our server, Edgar, was always around when we needed him. They have a selection of dungenous crab boils and we spied one at a table near us. It looked fantastic but we were not that hungry! I would definitely come back. Great food and a nice location right on the Puget Sound.

This was a very nice restaurant. The crab legs were good and the Clam Chowder was amazing! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend The Crab Pot to anyone visiting Seattle!

Great location! It was very busy and we weren’t able to get patio seating which was fine. Crab was very good and corn/potatoes could have had more seasoning. Price was higher than expected based on menu wording. Feast for two title then priced per person. Price very high compared to similar meal on east coast.

We stopped at the restaurant after visiting the Aquarium. The food was hot, and very good. I had the prawns and they were excellent. My daughter had the calamari and she thought it was very good.

First time ever having a seafood feast. We had the East Port seafood boil. 4 of us split 3 orders. We probably would have been fine to split 2 between the 4 of us. Everything was very good and cooked well! Outdoor seating for a good view!

Will not come to this restaurant again. The ingredients are not fresh, blackened shrimp, smelly shellfish, stiff crab meat... The chef explained that a new chef overcooked it, which is obviously not the real reason.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting the waterfront and were seated promptly by the windows. Service was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Pacific steam pot and were not disappointed. I love the seasoning used on the seafood, veggies and sausage. A little pricey but we knew that going in.

They were not taking reservations and the wait was 45 minutes as this was before Washington State opened up from Covid restrictions. The service was good (kudos to Jason) with good food to boot. (the captain combo and crab stuffed salmon)

Great food, great service. Tried a variety of dishes between us. a great Chowder in a Cobb. Awesome oysters. Great mushrooms. Magical prawn cocktail. Great salmon and steelhead dishes.

Oysters were flavorful but small. Shrimp scampi was nice but pasta over cooked. Great sauce. Snow crabs were perfect. Definitely will return here. Love seafood. Nice waterfront ambience.

We stopped for dinner here before we took our Argosy boat tour. The food and service were very good. I had the Crab and Dungness Combo, with crab, corn, and red potatoes and it was tasty. My wife opted for the Seabass skewers with peppers, onions, mushrooms and red potatoes. She said it was delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient, and we made it to the boat in plenty of time.

After searching for more than an hour through Pikes Market for a good seafood experience, someone recommended The Crab Pot. I was so excited for my husband who grew up on in Savannah to try the seafood of the great NorthWest Pacific. We paid about $140 for this lunch (2 sodas, sour dough bread, and the feast for 2). Not the best seafood or the freshest, but good in a pinch. I would recommend doing your research and making a reservation prior to going to the waterfront. Service was good and food came out quickly.

Portions disappointing. The $69 king, Dungeness, shrimp feast had one small crab, (no king), 8 medium sized tough shrimp. Photo available.

We love the Cioppino that can actually be had in the bar so you can avoid the lines when it’s high tourist season. Come hungry and thirsty!

Mo was a great server! Don't miss the sourdough bread. Ordered the fish and chips and the salmon tacos. Both came out hot and cooked to perfection. Fish was lightly breaded and was a good 4 piece amount. Tacos were light and flavorful.

My sister and I wanted a light lunch before our narrated cruise, so we dropped in to the Crab Pot. I ordered the bowl of clam chowder and she order a cup of salmon chowder. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, my sister ordered a second cup of salmon chowder. My suggestion: Order the bowl, it’s only $1 more. I also enjoyed a delicious cocktail: Pirate’s Punch. Our server was Joe. He was the absolute best: Attentive, kind, funny, respectful and quick! Joe is arguably the best server we had during our visit to Seattle. If you’re fortunate enough you may have Joe as your server. The establishment is large and located inside Miner’s Landing. There was no wait when we visited around 1 pm on a Saturday, but I imagine there’s a wait later in the day.

Considering this fish restaurant is a stones thrown from a fresh fish market with the freshest and biggest fish I have ever seen it really should have been better. The smell wasn’t good when you walk in and the fish I had (halibut) was overcooked. We found the amount of food that some people were eating was quite frankly obscene!! Never seen so much food being eaten and wasted. The chips we had were inedible with the amount of salt on them and the whole meal was overpriced. I wish we’d Tripadvised it before sitting down! The best thing was our server - she was great.

Eating here is an experience in itself, we took our two teenage kids who loved it!. We ordered one of the buckets with two different types of crab, shrimp, mussels, corn, sausage and potatoes. You get given a paper bib and a wooden mallet each, small ramekins of warm butter then they dump the food out in the middle of the table....such fun!
Overall the Vista was good. The best was there service as our server w!master vetmry attentive. Was slightly disappointed the fo
Service was very good. Food ok because it came out lukewarm. Taste good. Portions was okay. We admit we are biased when it comes to crabcakes because I grew up eating Maryland crab cakes.
