This place serves a decent breakfast menu and coffee selection at a decent SF price. However, nothing really sets it apart from other places down the street. Decent choice though.

Stopped for small afternoon snack, shared a crepe. Good place to sit and rest from exploring all the murals of the Mission!

Ordered the New Orleans crepe and my boyfriend ordered the Mediterranean. Both crepes were delicious. The plate is huge and it comes with salad and potatoes. It was a full meal. I also had the cafe au lait and it was hot and delicious. Nice location as well.

We called at the Crepe House on a rainy day. We received a warm welcome and hot, tasty food at an affordable price. The portions were great. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good, casual dining. Will definitely aim to visit again.

Very good good, great choice Yummmy Friendly staff Very recommendable for breakfast We loved it Fair prices

I don't know much about Crepes so I can't argue with the previous review, but my partner and I both enjoyed our lunch at the Crepe House. He had a Chicken Pesto Crepe, while I had a cheeseburger. For desert we shared a Banana and Nutella Crepe. YUM!! Both of us enjoyed our meals enough to go back a second time before the end of our trip. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was pretty nice. Maybe not the best place for "Authentic Crepes" but still delicious.

Adorable little restaurant on a corner. Food was good, bacon a little over done , but crepes were amazing and served with ice cream if wanted. The staff were very friendly and the guy gave us a free coffee to go! The big windows and decor made it such a pleasant visit as well . Will definitely come back!

Good crepes but expensive. Odd crowd the two times we were there but a nice place for lunch. Open all day which is nice.

The best coffee in America! My espresso was smooth and without bitterness… I was in heaven after 2 weeks of weak American coffee (yes yes coffee snob from Wellington NZ here 🤣). We also had a savoury and a dessert crepe, both were delicious & the staff were so welcoming and lovely.

Yes, this one is excellent. I have been here zillion times. Love everything here. Even service. Made first friend in the city here. Chocolate chip cookies are mind blowing so is the house coffee. Food is great too. Love it.

The savory chicken pesto crepe was amazing! However, the Nutella crepe lacked Nutella and the strawberries and bananas were warmed therefore mushy. The restaurant was clean and service was friendly.

Neighborhood haunt, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If not familiar with establishment, posted menu above cashier counter is overwhelming. On Sunday, The cashier who took my order seemed short of patience consequently, I didn’t really order the breakfast I wanted. After eating my basic cheese omelet, I went back to the cashier and ordered a strawberry crepe. I would return on my next visit to the City.

My wife and I saw the Crepe House on the list of restaurants that our nearby hotel gave us. She is a fan of crepes, and asked me to meet her there. I'm glad she did. This place is not fancy - you order at the window and your food is delivered to your table. But it doesn't have fancy prices, either - our meal for two was less than $35 including desert. The staffer who took our order and delivered our food was friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful and my wife's breakfast crepe, and my New Orleans crepe were excellent. Salad and potatoes were included with the order, and were also fresh and tasty. On my next trip to San Francisco, this restaurant is high on my list for a return visit.

I fist thought this was like a regular restaurant, so we sat done anywhere like we figured. We waited like 10-15min without anyone saying anything to us, even though they clearly saw us since they were cleaning the tables around us. Finally we went to the counter for some menus, and they said we had to order at the counter. I was kind of surprised. But the food wasn't all that bad.

Been there numerous times. Always the same great quality. Great variety of crepes and really good coffee!

I just love eating at this crepe house on Polk. The food is wonderful, the location is great and the people that work here are fabulous. Cannot say enough good things...

After eating here my wife said she's lost faith in my restaurant selections. The scalloped potatoes that accompanied my chicken pesto crepe were greasy. There was way too much cheese in the crepe which overpowered the pesto sauce. With all the fine restaurants in SF, why eat here? On the other hand, if you only want a salad, the Greek salad was good.

Crepes were excellent. Coffee was watered down. Wish there was more variety for breakfast crepes. Portions were good size.

Pancakes and waffles were delicious, and staff very helpful. Electric outlet covered with what appears to be conductive tape in violation of NEC (National Electric Code)

It was late afternoon and at first he said they were closed. Weary from walking, I persisted and he agreed. A menu was posted above the ordering counter. Our food was prepared quickly and was extremely satisfying. After wandering around a wet and windy city, we sat by the window enjoying a tasty lunch. It was the best surprise on our trip.

somewhat bias...but if you speak french you will probably get a free crepe

I always feel like I'm having brunch when I eat at the Crepe House. The food is delicious, fast and tasty Two can eat one meal that's how plentiful the portions are.

Went here for breakfast while visiting my brother and the Strawberry Nutella Crepes with whip cream and it was delicious. We ate outside in the late warm morning sun with our ice coffees and my brothers dog. Very friendly staff and fast service. Would diffently come back again!

Sat outside during COVID for brunch. Food was great, service was excellent! Price was reasonable. What more can you ask for???

Really a treat. Lots of flavors/ingredients to mix into the crepes. A special place when you have never been to one before!

Great place for breakfast. Opens earlier than some. If weather permits, windows are pulled back, so it's like eating outdoors. There are some tables & chairs outside as well. I had strawberry and banana Belgium waffles with whipped cream two mornings in a row because they were soooo good. Some street parking...free before 9 a.m.

This restaurant makes your meal to order, whether it's a salad, a crepe, or an omelette. Crepes and omelettes come with home fries, but if you prefer not, they'll substitute salad and/or fruit if you ask. The coffee is good, as are the cookies.

Crepes for lunch? Absolutely! We found this place last year while visiting SF and this year we had to make another stop because it was just sooo good. So many delicious options, it's hard to decide. Tried the breakfast Crepe with ham, egg and cheese and potatoes on the side and it was mouthwatering. The only downside is you get so much food it's hard to eat it all and yet you want to order more. Guess, we'll have to come back...again!

Super cute, welcoming breakfast place with a long list of sweet and savory crepes, as well as salads and sandwiches. There were two women running the place today, and they were very patient as we tried to navigate the large menu to decide on our orders. I had the warm chicken salad and the banana crepe (the banana crepe is heavenly), and I might come back to try the eggplant crepe. My husband's strawberry crepe was also delicious. Large portions and friendly staff!

Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. My wife had a very good omelet that came with potatoes and a salad. I had scrambled eggs with choriso and potatoes. This was not too good. The scrambles were dry and overcooked and the potatoes had been precooked, reheated, and lifeless. We will try here again this morning but I don't have high hopes.

A very cozy place, you order and pay for your food at the bar, good portions and regular prices, the taste is very good. I recommend the baggel with pesto.

Great choice of savory and sweet crêpes but also sandwiches, salads and entrées. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Hard to do better!

We managed to time it just right as the kitchen was just closing at about 9pm. What a great little find. Really relaxed good service and the food was so good. I had a chicken melt and my partner had a ranch. Will def com back when we are next in San Fran.

I got the Miami heat and it was delicious. Not overly spicy so I added some Tabasco to kick it up a notch. It was pricey though so you would really need to like crepes. The crepe came with a salad that was average and cubed/pan fried potatoes. The potatoes came out with a little crisp and were a pleasant surprise. Probably the best potatoes I've had in a long time (in that style). The inside was comfortable and quaint. Very relaxed atmosphere with a good staff.

We took a long hike uphill to get to this place and boy was it worth it. Very affordable and HUGE portions. I got the apple crepe and my husband got a savory breakfast crepe with ham and eggs. We shared. So so good. So full. The fresh squeeze orange juice was awesome as well.

Very mediocre crepes and the salad that comes with it isn’t much better. This place used to make good crepes but I think they have new owners. They did not even know to use buckwheat crêpes for savory crepes. Asked if the soup is homemade and was told yes but it was right out of a can and obviously so. If they can’t be honest about their food when talking to the customer what else is going on? Stay away.

Well, it was the 1st time I'd a crepe as a meal vs. as a dessert. I had the New Orleans crepe (chicken, tomatoes, spices). Nothing too fantastic about it. The chicken was pre-cooked and reheated. The potatoes were ok. Nothing special. My daughter had Hawaiian-type crepe (ham, pineapple & cheese). She devoured hers, so it must've been good. Our friend had the Veggie crepe and seemed to like hers as well. The atmosphere is actually very nice. Cafe style with big windows to watch the world go by. Fantastic! Lots of great artwork to look at as well.

Visited for breakfast. My husband had eggs with potatoes and toast (large serving) and I had a bagel with cream cheese. We both got cappuccinos. They have a water tap and glasses, you can serve yourself. You pay at the counter and they bring out the food to you. The sever delivering the food was very friendly and very sweet to older customers and children. I would definitely visit again and next time try a lunch sandwich as we saw lots of people getting tasty lunch foods.

We were looking for a donut or breakfast place near our hotel as we were tired of their store bought danishes. I looked at reviews on a few travel sites and found a donut shop that looked great and got wonderful reviews. We started our walk and passed by the Crepe house in search of the donuts. We found the donut place, looked at the options and felt very unsure as nothing looked all that appetizing. My husband suggested we go back to the Crepe place we walked by. We were all so glad he suggested that. The service was super friendly, the food was fantastic! It was a bit pricey but you got so much food. We didn't need to eat lunch that day! Will go back here for sure next time we are in town.

Crepe places in the U.S. --maybe it's just California? -- tend to offer combinations of fillings that would be better served in a burrito, omelette or wrap. Gilding the lily would be an understatement. We wanted just a simple crepe with sugar and fresh lemon to squeeze on. When the order finally came, the crepes were thick and gummy. Not nice tasting or authentic.

The food here is always excellent! Me and my family have been going here for years and it is always great. The staff is very nice and very give good service. Especially Patricia. The fruity Nutella, sweet crêpe, the savory chicken pesto and Miami Heat are so delicious. They also have eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast and omelette. So if you are not in the mood for crêpes there are lots of other options. Another nice thing here that it’s mostly local people and they aren’t big lines even on the weekend. We come every time we are in the city.

Was a bit pricier than it said online but you get the crepe, potatoes and spring salad. We also shared a dessert crepe. The process is a little confusing and we couldn't find the water.

A very cozy breakfast cafe. Very versatile , top prepared food with everything you wish for. The coffee tastes good. The food was great. We will be back.

Good size portions and really enjoyed our food. Sitting on the patio was nice. You order and pay for your food at the counter then they bring your food to the table. Would recommend.

Having just arrived in SF we found this crepe house a short distance from our hotel. Service was friendly and the place was pleasantly busy. There was an extensive menu of crepes, omelettes, salads etc. We had two crepes and two salads. Good portion sizes and tasty food. Very suitable for the kids.

My wife stopped in for a light soup and salad lunch. The chicken and rice soup was pasty and mediocre. The salad was very good. The server/bar tender was very friendly and the price was decent for San Francisco. Al in all, a decent place but not one that I'd go out of my way for.

We found this place casually walking. We are so glad! Value was excellent and the food was delicious!!! We enjoyed savory crepes and then even sweet ones! Service was very friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Most definitely recommend.

Neat atmosphere, very open and almost has a mexican feel to it. Eggplant + spinach crepe...amazing! Anything you could think of on a crepe, all fast, polite staff and delicious. As we were staying nearby, we returned for lunch and had warm chicken salad as suggested by local regular patrons. Neat casual place.

There are good crepes (and other things) to be had here. Unfortunately, there are some sub-par creations that tend to be soggy and over seasoned. The best advice: stick with safe bets and you will be fine. It's hard to go wrong putting chocolate and fruit in a crepe. It's easier to go wrong trying to put an entire gourmet dinner inside of a thin pancake. Choose the simple things and happiness will ensue.

Crepes were really good. Service was decent. Enjoyed my breakfast. The mimosa was made from fresh squeezed orange juice which made it extra tasty. I would recommend and eat there again.

Excellent food. Club sandwiches superloaded and excellent omelet. Affordable prices for an expensive city. Definitely a recommended place

Just walked in for late breakfast and not disappointed at all Great tasty choices on any venues for breakfast and crepes

The place really has a European fill to it (with an exception of huge portions) – wooden tables, décor, menu options. We got two different types of omelets and pancakes along with hot chocolate and cappuccinos. The good – lots of organic and natural items, big menu selection, and relaxed atmosphere despite being crowded. The moderate – omelets were a bit bland. Overall, a pretty satisfying experience.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on Van Ness Avenue, so we were really glad of the variety of restaurants, cafe and shops on Polk Street. Our son wanted to try this place for breakfast one day before we set off sightseeing, and it was one of the best meals we had during our stay. We all had crepes with different fillings (vegetarians catered for well). Service was quick, friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful - in fact we didn't feel like eating again until the evening. The restaurant was also welcoming and clean. Would recommend as a great place to fuel up before heading out for the day.

I had the Polk omelette and it was superb, great size portions, had it for breakfast and not hungry again until late afternoon.

Very cute interior, friendly staff, and delicious food. We walked here from out hotel and were pleased by the number of things to eat! Yum!

Great local spot with a neighborhood coffee shop feel. The crepes were delicious and so many to choose from it was hard to decide. Breakfast omelette hit the spot (breakfast for lunch was a good choice). Could hang out there for hours.

Went for dinner. Had the club sandwich and wife had pesto crepe. Both made to order with fresh ingredients. Nutella banana crepe for dessert. Had a bunch of new staff making the ordering process a bit disjointed. Overall, great find. Would recommend and go again

We were waiting for the Cable Car Museum to open so we took a cable car to the top of the hill nearby and then sought out this little place based on ratings from TripAdvisor. We love crepes and this place did not disappoint! Kids had sweet crepes and we had savory and they were all great. Fun city experience to sit in the window seats and watch the world go by. After breakfast, we walked up the hill to the playground that seemed to be on top of the world (and so gorgeous!). Part of an excellent morning in a unique city neighborhood. Would definitely go back!

Walked by this place several times and on my last day in San Francisco went in. Ordered the Miami Heat crepe and a banana and Nutella crepe on the side. Believe me the Miami Heat was more than enough food. Very tasty and came with a salad and roasted potatoes. The Nutella and banana crepe with whipped cream was to die for. Glad I went in and I would definitely recommend it!

One of our favorite breakfast/brunch spots. We have stopped by every time we’ve visited SF to enjoy great crepes and breakfast. Easy in and out and food is always good. Enjoy!

You can't screw up a nutella crepe. Can you? Just wish they had more sweet crepe options but the crepe I got was still good and hit the spot.

The Crepe House is a sleeper on Polk Street in San Francisco. They serve great breakfast, savory, and oh yes--their superb dessert crepes. Whenever we go to San Francisco we always make a pilgrimage to The Crepe House. A wonderful family-owned restaurant, not some chain restaurant. The owner works on premises and is a very warm person--it shows in their crepes. The crepes are made fresh to order as is all of the food. Nothing is sitting around under a heat lamp. We have eaten all types of crepes there--breakfast, savory, and especially the dessert crepes. The Nutella-banana-strawberry crepe will make you put on a happy face. Aloha, from the Waipahu Traveler!

We left our hotel room for a quick breakfast and ended up at the Crepe House. We let our oldest boy choose, so our destination was not a shock (he loves crepes and everything sweet). This locale was on his radar from our first evening walking around the neighborhood. We ordered at the window and were pleasantly surprised at the vast menu options. All four of us have different tastes and everyone was accommodated with the offerings. A few of us had crepes, others had waffles. Every single dish was perfect! Very flavorful and fresh. The fruits were all ripe and plentiful. My wife ordered a latte and was stoked on it as well. Our service couldn't have been any better. Every person seemed to chip in and took really great care of us. This was one of our best experiences while in San Francisco. A true gem!

Eggplant crepe and mila not omelette might be the best couple to have for breakfast no matter how hungry you are. Really big portions and amazing decoration is a big plus.

It's a little expensive but they have some good stuff.

Happen to find The Crepe House while walking and looking a a good breakfast before tackling the sights in SF. What a great decision! The food was excellent at a reasonable price. BKFT potatoes (favorite staple for me) did not disappoint, the coffee and espresso (I did have both) wife had coffee I had the espresso. The food was outstanding, very friendly service and ver cozy. Highly recommend.

great food(breakfast) especially after a night of hard drinking

Excellent spot for any meal, and reasonable prices. Great service too. Perfect neighborhood spot, we visited multiple times during our vacation!

Gotta love a good crepe. Had this for breakfast and it filled us up for a good morning on the warf. Would go again

We needed a place to eat just before heading to an evening movie, found this in an online search, and SO happy we did! Great food, the crepes are just perfect, and the choices of filling are incredible (great volume of choices for vegetarians, by the way). Service is casual, order at the counter and they bring the food once it's ready -- food came quickly, service included refills of our soda drinks (and they asked if we wanted refills, we didn't have to go ask), the location is lovely and the room itself is very soothing and comfortable. Small tables, yes, but three of us were able to navigate without much trouble at one table. Love this place, and we will be back when we're in the neighborhood again!

Popped in to this place to check the menu & so glad we did! Fast friendly service, had the Original & it was delicious! They have sweet & savory for any time of the day dining. I would re-visit!

Being from Southern California suburbs finding an even remotely interesting breakfast spot can be like searching for the holy grail…or at least it’s a 30 minute drive. With that mind San Francisco is like breakfast nirvana. The Crepe house is a nice, respectable, and tasty breakfast stop. From crepes and quiches to omelet’s, waffles and pancakes this place is fist the bill. The amazingly fresh and tasty chicken-apple sausage paired with my Pesto Crepe (Mozzarella, onions, tomatoes, avocado, black olives, feta, pesto) was the perfect start to a morning. Visiting these hardy breakfast creperie’s throughout SF begs the question…where is the So Cal analog?

Highly recommend. The food is just great, the menu is very diverse.. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner.. You can eat something sweet, salty, spicy. The food is delicious and the portions are very big.

Had great food here, prices are low for SF standards but food and service were top notch. Also, everything was clean and well kept.

Went with a friend for brunch. The food was ok, but not amazing so thought $28 pre tip for an omelette and salad rather much

Had a great breakfast. Large diversified menu. Lots of choices. Hot chocolate was still to hot to drink after I finished breakfast . Not budget friendly!

Loved it so much we went two days in a row! Food was terrific, orange juice with pulp refreshing, great coffee and prices were totally reasonable! Love love love it

We came for the waffle & stayed for the crepes! Delicious, great service & awesome atmosphere. My man loves waffles & I read somewhere this is a top place for a waffle. I'm more adventurous & tried the Mediterranean crepe. Honestly, every dish served looked great. I like the order at the counter, find your own seat thing. Love the tables by the open windows. 💖😄☕️

Great menu and very good food! However, on a Saturday morning around 10 am, we waited in line well over 30 minutes to place our order and get a table. Based on other reviews, we ordered "simple" and all 3 of us enjoyed our Omelet with Spinach & Cottage Cheese, Acapulco Omelet and Dessert Omelet with a side of bacon. Oh, and mimosas all around! Very accommodating staff and very good food. We would definitely go back if in the neighborhood again.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for something off the beaten path for tourists, yet close to the cable car stop. We found this place and really enjoyed our crepes (New Orleans and Hawaiian). The servings were plentiful and reasonably priced (most of the menu was $8 to $14) for a crepe, salad, and potatoes. We didn't have room for dessert, but the dessert crepes looked good as well. As tourists, we enjoyed visiting a more local, "neighborhood establishment" and were treated with a delicious meal in return!

We wanted something simple for lunch and we decided on crepes. This restaurant is small but it also has outside seating which we took advantage of because it was a beautiful sunny day. Their menus are on several small billboards above the cashier area. Many choices of crepes to choose from. We had the chicken pesto crepe, the pesto crape, the Mediterranean crepe and the eggplant crepe. All the fillings of these crepes were cooked to perfection!! They were all Superb!!! They also serve alcohol, including wine and beer, soda and specialty coffees such as espresso and cappuccinos. The staff was very friendly and all our orders were brought to our table in great care!

Absolutely worth the (uphill) walk from the city centre especially at the start of the day, if you are looking to have a great start with crepes for breakfast or brunch. Walkable distance from the immediate center of the city north of Market Street (as I said, uphill, relatively steep at times). Good/halfway to catch a bus to go to Golden Gate Bridge (buses 130/150 non-Muni operated but can still be paid via the Clipper card, which is handy). We had savoury and sweet crepes, which were all great and generous as portions. I had the Mediterranean crepe and then a banana and nutella crepe (sorry, no picture of the banana and nutella crepe: we ate it straight away😋). However, the coffee was not the best and even the large coffee is not quite much given the price.

Nice walk-in eatery with a bit of outdoor seating if you happen to bring your dog along. My wife and I had a breakfast crepe and a couple of cappuccino. The food was excellent and the cappuccinos were spot on. Nice atmosphere for a walk in the neighborhood kind of place

Nice location on Polk St. They have a few tables outside on sidewalk to sit and eat. We went for breakfast and the food was good. Pretty basic, nothing fancy. The service was good and the food delivered quickly. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They also have some nice omelettes and the coffee was nice and hot. I don't know about going for lunch or dinner, but I would go back again for breakfast.

Good service and plenty of seating, even outside. Friend ordered crepe egg omelet style and I got it without the crepe. Both were huge plates of food. Very good. Her crepe was a little soggy but she liked it. There could have been less potatoes. All in All very good. Next time we will try the deserts!

We shared two very good crepes which came with home fries and salad. Only $16 for 2 platters. Very good friendly service in this nice casual corner spot on Polk St.
Great Crepes
It was my first time at Crepes House and loved the Menu & Variety of food available, I had a chicken Pesto Crepe was great , was served with House Potatoes which were grilled on a flat grill awesome tasted nice. Food was ready in no time. My suggestion to all food lover eat in the restaurant dnt do take away .
