1 star is the only star I give to this place - for music ( but DJ only, violin player was so lame) -Cocktails Drinks awful, better order from the bottle. - Food was average, not $$$$ - Service - 0 (very rude waiter named Luka O) They give you two (2) hours to spend time at the table. So don’t leave your table for any reason, because they will give it away to other guests, that means don’t go dancing (that happened to the couple next to us, and don’t go peeing, that happened to us) See in attachments: reservation was made for 7pm, at 8:18pm we were out of table to take some photos, and 8:26pm they gave out our table, even though we had time till 9pm (according to their policy) - Skyline is nice to take pictures but again your table will gone while you taking pictures - Manager knew about the situation, but ignored us. (1 day later, manager wrote an email to me, explaining how we need to notify staff when you going to the bathroom) - if you want to have a good time - avoid this place. Not worth that money, and you can find skyline to take nice pictures elsewhere)

I would give 2 more stars if the music was not so loud ! It is a large place, and loud speakers everywhere, you have no escape to sit far away for some peace. Hard to talk to others it is blasting all over. To a deafening degree while you are eating dinner. It is a restaurant not a club. At least turn it up after 11.30 pm. when it can be sort of a club. Very chick very show off, outfits galore, mini skirts, guys with bold shaved heads you got it all. The food is good except for the 25 bucks for 3 "meze" appetizers that are enough for the cat. Pastas great. Show off---yes. Earplugs--yes ! View-it depends. If a huge yacht pulls right in front you only see the yacht and no other view.

We had an intimate wedding reception with family at the Deck this past Wednesday and it was a true dream! The ambience, food, staff and service were impeccable; the scene was enchanting, we could not have asked for more!

Let start by first impression when the GPS telling to turn left you start to think that Siri is crazy that theres no way theres a nice restaurant there specially at night when is dark the valet parking area look sketchy. Then you pay $60 to valet to leave your car in the front or $30 for what look like two very young teenagers to take your car to the side. We choose to pay $60 cause again the parking area look super sketchy. The sitting area looks just like the photos and the view of Miami is stunning plus points for that. We visit Saturday night, they had a girl that play with fire she comes table by table taking photos with the guest. Now lets talk food, the tuna was good but not great, the seafood tower was meh’ the quality/price ratio is not there for sure. The best part was the pizza. My brother in law send back his Branzino saying was burn and tasteless. Overall I will not be going back.

The Deck restaurant is very tasty and a great view of downtown !! inside the great furniture creates a good mood, the food delicious !!!

Can't wait to go back. The decor, ambiance and service was great. Hasan knows how to treat his guest. The food was delicious. We started with salads, Caesar and Aegean, and also had the prawns. The prawnswere good but expensive and I think they could have thrown 2-3 more on the plate but... We then ordered the Lobster Ravioli (Not large portion) and The Arugula and Prosciutto Pizza. Both were great. Ended with the Baked Alaska whichbilwas recommended and I see why. It was moist and delicious. This place is very vibrant and loud. A DJ is playing and live saxophone. A great group outing or date location. But not a first date. And you can't beat the view.

We reserved a big table for 10 people at 2 pm for Sunday Brunch last Sunday. The place was pretty empty. The location was great next to the yacht marina but one megayacht was blocking our view of the Miami skyline. When we first went up to the buffet, there were some lobster tails on ice, cut in half... they were gone in 10 minutes and we were told there were no more. Then, they put out some shrimp on ice... they were gone before too long. They told us there were no more. However, later both lobster tails and shrimp miraculously appeared! The lobster tails were stuck to the shells so they were difficult to get the whole tail out, but the shrimp were good. They shucked oysters on demand and they were OK. The ravioli, however, were very good. The rest of the buffet was just OK but not as big a selection as other expensive brunches we have been to, and some items, like the cooked shrimp and the grilled lamb, were not available until later. There is no excuse for not having the full spread of food available all the time, especially when the place was pretty empty. For $65 per person it is not worth it...and they did not even include a drink. Furthermore, one of our friends became ill before he could eat much (not from the food - possible heart problem) and had to be taken to the hospital with his fiance'... and they still charged them the full price! (It was later taken off the bill after a phone call complaint). All of us agreed that it was not worth the price and we will not be going back. The Sunday brunch at Etaru in Hallandale Beach is much better for the same price and includes a drink and wine!

White umbrellas shade tables with wicker chairs beside lounge areas with white cushioned couches. This is The Deck at Island Gardens, If you want less sun, . then a cabana. Otherwise panoramic views of downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. You have a party vibe, and at Sunday brunch a musician or a DJ. I had ice tea and the Tartare Duo (Salmon & Tuna).

When I spend a lot of money for dinner I'm expecting the full package in terms of great food and spectacular service. The food here was pretty good and the atmosphere was second to none but our server completely ruined the night. Manuel was our server and he couldn't have been more clueless. After our dinner order, an hour went by before we saw him. I had to ask another server to get us drinks after our waters and beverages were bone dry. After he reappeared he was too busy flirting with the girls at the next table. How hard is it to fill a water glass or ask if we wanted desert or more drinks? The worst part is the punk automatically added a 18% tip in for himself. It must be nice to get tipped without doing anything! Don't go to this place the value just isn't there, there are plenty other better places to try in Miami.

Brunch buffet is amazing, lots of vegetarian options but they also had steak, whole fish, chicken etc My favorite was mushroom truffle risotto 😋Had a blast. Amazing view, great service and food.. must visit!

The valet service already includes the tip when you pay by card, when we got to the reception they never found our reservation and we had to wait 45 minutes for a table, which was the worst in the place since there were many people standing around us. The drinks arrived an hour later, they even arrived after the appetizers and the virgin mango mojito was literally disgusting, the food arrived cold and the risotto was poorly cooked and tasteless. When it came time to pay the waitress she never took the mojito off the bill and when I called her it was not necessary to say a word because she already knew what she had done and she told me that she would take it off the bill. The place is nice but it lacks a lot of organization and professionalism, I would never return

The Deck at Island Gardens is the best kept secret in Miami!! I hesitated writing this review only because it truly is the most enjoyable place to go for any occasions on any given evening. The staff is unbelievable! Summer and Stanley provided such a wonderful FUN! Experience. Heather the manager made my birthday night so special. I told her 2 weeks prior that we would be back for my birthday and she remembered!! The house Dj is phenomenal! If you are looking for a romantic dinner for 2, or a party night our at one of their couch cabanas directly on the water or even to grab a drink at the bar, The Deck is the perfect spot! Thursday nights are “THE” night to be there Enjoy !!

the food and view are great, brunch is abundant, but arrive early, because items are not replaced when finished, at least not when i went. i had an issue with billing, be aware of "service charge" as management does no clarify that this is the gratuity or tip. And for a buffett brunch, i was charged 18% which it is still high, when you go serve yourselve. . so because they kept quiet, i added tip, which i am disputing, no one answered my phone calls or messages. for this dispute. be aware specially in large groups we were there fir a celebration.

Went to Deck at Island Gardens tonight for the “Miami Guides Sunset Equinox Party”. Tickets were $35 for 2 for entrance and it came w 2 tokens for a Prosecco or “Aperol” Spritz. We ordered the spritz’s and they are using a fake well “Aperol” aperitif that was super sugary, and Mionetto for the Prosecco. First server was pleasant at the bar. It was also their “Sunset Hour” which runs from 6pm-8pm. It’s their version of Happy Hour for $12 specialty cocktails and $10 small plates. We decide to get a 2nd spritz assuming it’s $12. New bartender was rude, her name was Milena. I gave her my card and she gives me a receipt for $48 and walks away. I call her over and ask her why she charged us $18 a drink when the it says the special is $12 she goes oh the Aperol Spritz’s aren’t on the specialty drinks. So they give you one to walk in w your prepaid chip, and when you go to order 2nd one they don’t tell you it’s not part of their sunset hour which is not clear on the menu it just says all specialty cocktails $12. She could’ve corrected it but didn’t. For my first time going to this menu, living in Miami, it was an awful first impression, and poor service. They could’ve corrected it but they clearly wanted you to order the Aperol spritz not being on their specials menu and tell you after. While the view is “pretty” the venue is very dated and dirty. Light fixtures were the same as ones used at SUR in LA by Lisa Vanderpump but the fixtures were filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in years, covered in dust and debris. Bathroom toilets were also filthy. Pictures here for both. First and last time I will go here. We go out 4-5 x a week for happy hour during the week. Trying to build a “sunset hour” clientele this was not the way to do it. DO BETTER. And clean your restaurant !

Be aware parking is $30. This was for the restaurant as there is no other place to park. Brunch was $65 per person and the food was covered by flies. They even had to replace my mimosa because a fly fell in! Gross! Beautiful location and restaurant but would not return. Service was good.

Superb venue for dinner !! What can I say ? Five stars The location is stunning What a view and backdrop to dinner The service is impeccable The food On my Delicious and such a variety I even had a pizza which I never have but it looks too delicious I would go again and again Highly recommended

We booked this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel concierge who, as a ‘foodie’, professed it to be one of his favourite spots in Miami right now. On arrival our first impressions were mixed however. While the venue is impressive, being situated next to a harbour, we couldn’t help but feel that as a forty something couple we weren’t their target audience. If however you happen to be a party loving superyacht owner or a beautiful young woman looking to find romance with a party loving superyacht owner then this is the perfect spot for you. That said our food was really good, the service was discreet and attentive and we had a great fun evening people watching.

issues with not advising customers of double tipping. until i get it resolved which no one has called me from the restaurant despite my many phone calls.

if you are looking for fun and not a typical bottle service club this is the place...dancing live music and on the water...had a blast

I stumbled upon this place after attending the Saturday night series at the deck. The restaurant sits right on the bay- come watch the sweeping view of sunset! Open air, South Beach posh with billowy sheer white drapes, chandeliers and strung lights dotting the sky. The food was great. We shared the grilled octopus- just try it. It was so good, I can't wait to go back!

Its hard to find fault at The Deck at Island Gardens as almost everything is excellent. The first impression is good with easy and efficient valet parking right in front. The restaurant is beautiful with comfortable and well spaced seating and great views. Everything we tried for brunch was quite good. The tuna tartare was good (not great) and didn't have an ingredient listed on the menu description. No big deal really. Scrambled eggs with caviar was simple but good. Everything we had was good with the exception of the fries. They also made some of the best tropical drinks I have had in Miami. Desserts were excellent too. The Deck has friendly and efficient service and is a great place to relax with friends.

Our dinner at the Deck at Island Gardens was an experience I will not soon forget! The food and drinks were great but the service by our waiter, Hasan, made the night exceptional. It must be the most happening place in Miami - packed with guests on a Sunday night. Fabulous music and DJ! Hope to go again on my next visit to Miami.

We were at The Deck Saturday night. Made the booking based on a friend’s recommendation and were very impressed when we arrived. It’s a great looking spot, on the water, skyline in the back, cabanas etc. Our issue was with the service, or lack there of, that we received. We were sat promptly at our table and then proceeded to wait, and wait for anyone to take our orders. After 25-30 mins I called over a waiter, as several of them had walked by our table a few times and asked him if anyone could take our drink order. He told me he wasn’t our waiter but could take the drinks. He then took all our orders. Drinks came about 20 mins later and our main courses were at least an hour after. And of course no cutlery which we had to flag someone down for. It really just spoiled our entire experience there. We definitely left feeling our table wasn’t as important as the cabanas as those had 4-6 staff flying around them with bottle service etc. They include a 20% service fee which we asked the manager to remove (he did). We did tip the waiter (who wasn’t our waiter but somewhat looked after our table). We felt bad but in all fairness the service was dire and we didn’t feel 20% was justified.

This place has the best service in Miami, wonderful food and a breathtaking view!!! If you like octopus, they have an appetizer that is the best octopus EVER!!! This place is incredible!!! A must see if Miami!!

Pleasantly surprised about this selection. The View was nice and the singer was super talented. Food was more of the complement to the view and music.

I was so excited about trying this restaurant...and so deceived! So place and view are amazing, but between the less than friendly hostess, the fact that it took over 1 hour to get our plate - 4 of us including 2 pizzas - the 200 flies over our table at all time and the fact that there were no fan so no air circulation, let's be honest, never again!

I absolutely love this place!!!! Everyone is so nice and attentive to take care of us. The bartender Maikel made sure we had the best cocktails and gave us hydration as well with some fresh coconut water. Definitely best sunset Sunday!

The locations is fantastic! Mojitos were very very good the pizza so delightful everything is great at this place

4/5 stars only because it’s $$$$$. Drinks were $18 and food was also very expensive, but the food was very delicious, and the vibes were 5/5. We went on a Friday night and there was live music and a DJ, and you really just couldn’t beat the atmosphere.

They don't honor reservations. After paying $20 for valet we had to wait in line. They made us wait 30 minutes for a table before telling us there were no more tables available. We left hungry. Don't go to this place.

I went on a Sunday evening to try this new restaurant in Miami. What a disappointment. We arrive 10 minutes before the reservation, we sat on the bar and waited at least 10 minutes to be approached by a bartender, even they had a least 3 there but were to busy passing back and forth doing something..so yes we were ignored from r the first time. We got served two drinks and we waited for the time to sit. We got sit on our table and thats it. Nobody came to serve, we finished our drinks, not even came to fill the water glasses or to ask for anything. The place was almost empty. Like 20 minutes after we were sat, a light sprinkle started and everybody started covering the chairs around us, and still no service... The chairs probably paid more than us. After half hour enjoying our company, we finish out drinks, got u and left. No body even cared we didn't pay for the drinks...everybody smiled though. We told the host that we waited and nobody came, we also told people checking in with the Valet, that they don't know how to serve. We also had to pay $15 to self park on the street, $20 if it was valet and $10 for self parking on the lot in front on the mud. This is the first time un my life that I get up and walk away from a restaurant, and not even pay for the drink. They had over 25 people roaming around and it was like they never served before....a couple came after us and a waiter came and took her wine order...and we sitting there... It was one hell f the worst experiences in a restaurant EVER. Beautiful set up, pretty place, but why all that when there is no service ? The prices are really high and service should be at that level. I will never recommend this place and will never be back again.

To be honest we are very disappointed with last night's service, the waiter does not know anything about service, he was not very attentive, he did not look clean, the service was accelerated and worse, they did not have about 5 dishes that we asked for in addition to charging the 20% service charge, its sad how a very good restaurant with a horrible service.

So my family and I made a reservation for 6 people, we came to celebrate my moms 60 bday. Mind you that we had this planned out for a couple of months. We get there n the rudest hostess that we’ve ever had, Seats us in big long table thats meant for 10-12 ppl instead of seating us in a table of 6 ppl like we asked for and what we RESERVED FOR! They were maybe like 3-4 tables that was meant for 6 ppl available n next thing you know the hostess tells us that those tables were reserved like if we didn’t make reservations for a table of 6 either. So my sis and I got very upset when she tried to sit us down in a big long table that we didn’t want for our family. So she brings in her manager (I’m guessing) and tells us that she would find us a table for 6 and we were like ok cool! But no!! The hostess instead brings us to another long table and trying to play us like we’re stupid even after her knowing that we were asking for a table of 6. And then she raised her voiced at my sister saying “LOOK LADY! We don’t have a table of 6 available for you guys!!” I swear to god, if we would of had a plan b to go somewhere else I swear I would of gave her true thoughts of that hostess for not only disrespecting my family but to my sister especially. We choose to stay just so we don’t ruin the dinner plans for my moms bday. To the hostess: I hope you’re reading this because believe me when I tell you this, I will spread the public about my experience that we had with you, it was the worse ever! You had one EASY JOB TO DO! but instead you choose to put another customers before my family like we’re not paying customers as well! Other than that horrible hostess, the food was great and the waiter was awesome! Glad that there we’re ppl in that establishment who knew how to do their job right !!! And theirs is a lot more complex compare to a hostess (Srry but it’s facts!)

Can we talk about how fabulous of a view The Deck has? It’s absolutely gorgeous to enjoy delicious food and drinks. This place is great for date night or business. We started off having a glass of Rose Champagne at one of the cabanas. Then moved to a table and ordered Grilled octopus which was the highlight of my dinner. We also ordered Jumbo Prawns that were fresh and juicy. For entree I had a nice salad called The Rocket. Simple and flavorful and enjoyed with a Sauvignon Blanc Cloud Bay that was bright and fruity, Summer was our server and she was the best! She was friendly and so sweet. I definitely will be back

Very modern nice outdoor lounge and restaurant outside, with beautiful view of Miami downtown. Chef Alfredo offers genuine plates with selected italian products and good fish.

We were here for our anniversary, and they pulled out all the stops. This is a Miami staple—nonstop fun, gorgeous people + gorgeous views. Highly recommend for large groups.

The ambiance and view was breathtaking. DJ aaaaamazing!!! Ash our waiter was excellent. The food.... Scallops to die for, octopus needs work and the branzino was excellent. Ill return. Sandy C.

I didn't know about it. I was loing foe a place to eat outside close to te water and a friend suggested it. Being close to the port I though it was kind of an hamburger and casual place. Was my birthday and the surprise was double pleasant. Elegant, and the food excellent under every point of view. Great service and great athmosphere. I will definetely keep it as one of the place where to go more often especially when I have guests in town

Has a lot options to offer in menu selection , venue, seating and price point. Though all one large patio outdoors, appears to have to distinct sections, one more casual bar like and the other more restaurant like, but both offer same food, Though all seating outside, well designed, huge, good quality and well placed umbrellas likely would protect most seating from poor weather. Seating can be found which will appeal a variety of patrons needs. There were numerous dining tables of 12 to 20. Many smaller , more private dining tables for 2-4 and a number for 6-8. It also offers low lounge seating areas which were suitable for drinks and finger food. Each of this areas could accommodate a group of 15-20 or 3 or 4 small groups of 2-4 people. The menu offers an excellent variety of dishes in a wide price range. Could easily see two tables having the same amount of food and drinks but because of their different selections, one bill being a multiple of the other, It's possible that one could be over 10 times larger. So offers choices to fit a wide range of budgets. The value of the food items is very good, but the value of the bottles of wine and liquors is poor. Limited wine choices and with their high mark-up, even the least expensive red is around $90. They offer bottles of liquor like others do as "Bottle Service" which generally is for groups and demands a premium price, however their mark-up is many times the retail price and only offer premium brands. One bottle I know sells retail for $120-130 and they offer it at $700.00. NOTE: they do offer a decent glass of red wine at a reasonable price, so if price is a concern, I'd suggest order wine by the glass and you can drink the same amount as you'd get in a bottle for less than their full red bottle price. I also suspect that in buying liquor by the glass there will be far more savings. The service was amazing. Fine dining quality w/o the reserve found elsewhere. friendly, engaging, helpful and efficient staff. No rushing, no unwanted waiting. They seem to be able to offer a number of different atmospheres due to their large size and different seating/decor. Louder more close bar area, well lit areas for groups/diners wanting to be in the middle of it and quieter, more private spots for others. The volume of the music varies depending on where you are seated, but I found that even sitting close to the DJ, it wasn't intrusive due to the volume setting and type of music Overall it comes across as a trendy, unique Miami venue. Sexy, romantic, fun, comfortable, inviting and engaging are some words to describe it. The types of patrons and their dress also varied considerable. Ages from 8 to 80, thought majority likely between 25 - 60. Outfits from casual boat wear to classy designer ensembles, jeans to sequin dresses, sandals to leathers. All however were well kept and seemed to fit in. I'd suggest most of the patrons had decent incomes and even though there obviously were a number very wealthy, The Deck did not suffer from having patrons there to show off and be seen or ones wanting to mix with the rich. Also likely didn't attract a student or beer guzzling crowd. Most appeared to be there to enjoy themselves with friends. It just seemed to attract a "nice" crowd. It doesn't come across as a "pick-up" place, however a good place for meeting good people. The view from the deck is amazing, both the city skyline and the lines of moored yachts. Some may find it a little isolated and out of the way but I find that attractive offering great space, scenery and keeps the bar hoppers away. I believe The Deck has a lot to offer to a wide variety of people. Even though I felt bottled wine and liquor prices were far too high, sticking to specialty/mixed drinks, single shots and glasses of wine will provide a more reasonable beverage bill. Given that, along with top rating in all other area's, I believe it deserves a 5 star rating overall.

Everything was perfect. Food, service and view were amazing. Delicious desert as well. Great music and nice vibes. Loulou our waitress was amazing as well.

Great meal and drinks here on a warm Weds, chilled place with a great DJ and looked after by Ashraf, great service. Will visit again.

Amazing spot located away from it all but also right in the middle of it all. The views are spectacular, the drinks are great. We went at Sunset and the pictures we got were incredible.

The manager Arnaud Espineira is super disrespectful and rude!! In his LinkedIn it says that he is hospitality expert🤣 he doesn't know how to talk or deal with people at all!!!! He makes this place the stay away place!! I will definitely not come back!!

First, I will start off with the $30 valet parking- yes- $30! The $20 self parking isn't really much better- who wants to park in a lot with mud and dirt all over? Now let's talk about the food! I was pretty disgusted while choosing from the buffet to see flies on the different food items! Sitting at the table was even worse! I literally had to keep waving my hand around to keep the flies from landing on my food. We did ask the waiter to move one of the fans in our direction but it really didn't help! On the other hand, the service was pretty good! The waiters were always there changing out our plates and refilling our drinks. That was the only positive experience we had! Oh and by the way- the $5 coffee was NOT included in the $65 brunch per person!

First time here and ………. what a gorgeous place, like I mentioned in the past not many places in Miami or Miami Beach are actually on the water, so whenever I visit one I just love it This is a beautiful environment, it is on Jungle Island and it overlooks the Deep Harbor Marina and Miami beautiful skyline. I think the ideal time is to have an early dinner, we had a reservation at 6.15 pm and it was gorgeous as you have the sunset light but then you also get the beautiful city lights when it gets dark. They had a DJ which had great music, the crowd is hip and trendy but anyone can go, really, I am certainly not that hip and trendy and I loved it ;-) the only thing was the music a bit too loud so it made it hard to have a conversation across the table but, I understand why it is like that. Food was ok, nothing exceptional but some places you go for the food and, some for the ambiance and the view so, this is definitely one of those, absolutely gorgeous. I have to say the staff was really really great. I will go back again for sure @islandgardensdeck For more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites

Atmosphère, location, service and food are immaculate! Makes you feel the Miami living and lifestyle. On the water with views of million dollar mega yachts, i mean what more motivation can you possibly want! Adam Jones, our waiter took the best care of us and definitely someone you want to get to know! Highly recommended, wish they were open 7 days a week!

Check this place out. Went for a drink. Sat at the bar. Views of Miami were spectacular. Giorgio the manager introduced himself and offered a tour. Someone in my party mentioned that it was my bday. Minutes later a desert on the house was sent over with sparkler! Attention to details was superb. Great music and vibes. Can’t wait to go back for dinner or brunch. Shout out to the bartenders as well!!!

the view, music and atmosphere made the night. theres a few places in miami with water views but this has to be the best with all the boats, downtown skyline and sunset. service wasnt perfect but the whole experience makes it a 5 for me.

This was truly an enjoyable experience. The Deck at Island Gardens offers an amazing view, chill vibes, delicious drink and food, and friendly staff. The octopus was so tender, definitely the highlight of our dinner. We also ordered the French scrambled eggs and ossetra caviar, as well as the branzino, but the octopus was just wow. The drinks were very well done. I had the spicy seas and passio-nista (passion fruit based) and was hooked. From the presentation of the drink to the flavor, everything was there. The ambiance is excellent, with an incredible view, great décor, and your DJ mixing chill vibes tuned. It reminded me of an afternoon in Ibiza, without the craze but all the good stuff. I will definitely return. The place is great for any occasion, we went for brunch so it was hot, even with the fans, but the view made up for the heat honestly. You can go on a date, a business meeting, out with the guys/girls, give them a shot, you will not regret it.

I generally right to complain about the restaurant or hotel. However in this case, we went for the Miami Spice Lunch and we had a great time! The view of Downtown with the Million Dollar Yachts docked out front is the Best in Miami. It has a nice crowd at the Restaurant. At night it is even more spectacular with the lights from the City. It is great day or night. I had the Branzino which was cooked perfectly. There was a medley of vegetables and each complemented the flavor of the fish. The salmon Carpaccio was flavorful. The chocolate cake was delicious. They have a great kitchen and I would like to thank the Chef for the great meal. The wait staff was professional and the service was attentive. No problem to change the table further inside to stay away from the outdoor heat. The music was trendy and not too loud. Great Ambiance. Prices for food and drink are reasonable. My kids loved the Pizza. Take your friends for celebrations and your out of town guests for an amazing experience. That's what Miami is all about! Eric Stupel

The Deck is fantastic place with a unique atmosphere in Miami. The food is fabulous, the Chef is Italian, Marco is friendly and welcoming and I highly recommend to go there on the live music nights, especially the Jazz/Bossa Nova ones! Definitely became my go to place!

On a perfect location at Garden Islands, you have the beautiful view to Miami Downtown. Nice set up with outdoor area with comfortable seating options. Mediterranean food selection which was very tasty accompanied with good wine selection. Very friendly and professional service. During the evening the music made it into a great ambiance. A place to recommend !

Excellent atmosphere, great ambience, and views of Miami Skyline. Great assort of drinks on the menu and very nice music. Sunset is the time to go.

Amazing experience! I came here last night with couple of friends and we really didn’t know what to expect but this place exceeded our expectations!!! Very good food and tasty drinks followed up with crazy party atmosphere, positive vibes and professional stuff! I will definitely come back !

The Deck at Island Gardens is 1. sooo beautiful for a romantic evening on the water 2. has great service 3. the most delicious seafood. We were honestly in heaven with the food that Joe and the kitchen served us. We indulged in some tuna and oysters as appetizers and for entrees we enjoyed the sea bass and salmon. The views of the water are the cherry on top.

Decided to go here with my 3 yr old for dinner on a Saturday night, at first thought I made the wrong decision as the music and scene was very young/hip with girl dresses like they are going to club and I have a child with me. However they sat us towards the back with other families and I felt much better as there were other kids in this section. Waiter was great, made a pasta dish just for my son since verything was the menu was pretty fancy. Views were great and we got to have a great meal which for a second we felt we were in a happening fun place even though we had a child! Menu is expensive but you know that going in and music wasn’t too loud as I had read in reviews. Will go back!

Location: view of the yachts; atmosphere: stuck up; food: mediocre; price: absurd; Abundant: attitude

It was my friends birthday and our server Miguel S. made our night along with the manager at the floor which was Marija. The place is magical along with the food and drink menu’s. We got the in front of the DJ stand with an amazing view. I will definitely recommend this place and come back. Thank you for everything!

Such a great place. Amazing food, staff and views. Andrea Collet was the best to work with and made everything perfect. Will be definitely be back when in the area.

Nice view of the bay. Food is very good but some portions are huge. Prices are high and the waiters are not clear when they explain, they are more concerned to sell. If you go, share dishes and you will have a good dinner.

Amazing ambiance and food. Highly recommend for birthday party or special celebration. The DJ sounds and music phenomenal

If you want to dine outdoors and feel like you are in THE place to see and be seen, then The Deck is a good option! We enjoyed the food and the music; the service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry so it wasn't much of an issue.

We have been here for dinner in 4, good fish, although bad dessert. One thing is clear: there was a guy serving our table (white shirt) who was incredibly rude. A shame for such a restaurant. Never come back again.

I went to this restaurant with my husband to celebrate our anniversary, the place is gorgeous, food is really good, we met a really nice girl Beatrice who Made our experience even better. definitely suggested.

The view at The Deck is honestly beautiful, but I would caution you about going. The food was mediocre and the service was lacking. I didn't think I would go back, but I had not nixed it until I realized I was overcharged. I looked at my credit card statement and had to dispute the charge. They must have added additional tip even though the tip had already been added automatically. Make sure to check your credit card statement if you decide to go.

Brunch check Cool miami scene on the water check DJ check Great lite food check Must check this one out.

Worst service ever by server Z. He was very rude (when I say rude I mean it). When I told this to management, response was "he is the best seller" I was really shocked with the response. We were planing to stay longer after dinner for bottle service but we decided to leave the place and went to fontainebleau. Ps: Having a bad review is actually a good thing. It should give the management a chance to fix that specific problem instead of getting mad with the person who leaves the review. It doesn't work that way.

Lively ambiance. Dj playing. Menu very limited. Food not amazing. Overall prices too high for what you get. Great view of the Miami skyline and parked yatchs. Need to install fans. Not quite summer and already too hot to linger. Drinks ok and small. Service was very good. Didnt like that they included tip on the bill and we were told when we arrived that we could have the table for only 2 hrs. Ok. We were out in 1. Valet parking is available or you can park yourself in the dirt lot for $10. Attendant doesnt carry change. Won’t be going back.

This outdoor restaurant/ club is great on sunday nights. People come from 5 pm to 11 and drink and eat until the sun goes down. The same crowd that used to be at the Piaggia in South Beach, beautiful rich people surrounded my models. Its the new place to be sunday nights.

With a view of Downtown miami and the megayacht marina, the Deck at Island Gardens is a restaurant that needs to take advantage of its location. The food is not at par with it's privileged spot in front of the Cruise terminal and Down town. We had Bruch ( buffet style) and although the day was sunny and temperate, the buffet did not match up. Hopefully the will figure it out soon so that we can all return.

Love the atmosphere and general ambiance ... The place to be in Miami and spend beautify time with international friends. Be Blessed Miami

This was one of my favorite places we went to in Miami! We went right when they opened for dinner and thank goodness we did because apparently you have to make reservations here, so just a heads up. They were not going to let us have dinner but then I said, “look how empty it is,” because it was pretty empty at that time, (only three tables had people), and I told him that we wouldn’t be long anyway, so they let us right in! The ambiance is amazing and so Miami. When it got darker it was even better because the view of the city from here is just spectacular and you have some pretty yachts to look at too! We had the baby gem Caesar salad and the wild mushroom risotto. Both were amazing and the Caesar salad actually came with a little fish on top which apparently is what it supposed to be all the time, just a lot of restaurants don’t do it, but this one did! We loved it! Cabernet was good as well! Choices are great, we just did not get much because we were not that hungry. They also have some cabana-like day-club tables and a DJ came later on which was so much fun! It’s also nice to sit back and see what everyone is wearing! Everyone was dressed to impress! I loved looking at everyone’s dresses! So make sure you dress up when you come here! The service was also outstanding our waitress, Jennifer, was amazing! Me and her had a whole conversation about how and why girls from Miami pack a lot in their suitcases but not us! Haha! This place was just so much fun and I cannot wait to come back to Miami just to go to this place! Every time I am in Miami I will try to come here!

What a spectacular night! Went out with a group of 8 girls and everyone had a blast. The food, ambience, music, service was exceptional!

This used to be one of my favorite places. Now,I'd go back but only for drinks. Everytime I go there it seems the food gets worse but this last time was the worst and it's expensive --small portion of octopus even for a small eater, fish was dry, breaded veal chop ($72) was tasteless and overly breaded and overcooked, carrots and cauliflower undercooked and tasteless. Plus, you have to give up your table in 2 1/2 hours which is outrageous at these prices. It's really a pity as the place is gorgeous and view fantastic which is why I gave it average rather than poor.

a classic Miami rip off. there's "mandatory" valet for $ 20, when all they do is park your car 20 yards away on a dirt lot. inside the prices are very high for standard fare. the view is nice, but can be had for free if you just walk around on the island. eat and drink someplace else. I give this place not even a year before it's gone. it was nearly empty. very bad value for money, treating customers like a brainless ATM machine to spit out money.

Not very big choice of dishes, but the food and the general atmosphere are amazing. And the view, of course, it is beyond any compliments!

Great atmosphere. Music maybe a little too loud but right overlooking yachts. Food was excellent and prepared as expected. Caviar, filet, scallops and shrimp. Muay beuno. It is expensive but probably only special occasions or if your wallet permits. Live music.

This place is amazing! I celebrated my 21st there and it was perfect. The view was beautiful (great for pictures) and the service was great, but the FOOD!! The seared octopus was the perfect texture and the lobster ravioli was incredible… even at 5 am! Definitely recommend!!!

Horrible service from the moment we got in. Table wasnt ready, we had a reservation for a brunch and they changed the brunch menu to a dinner menu just because. The manager offered some free stuff which I didn’t ask for. We had to wait more than one hour for the waiter because we complained about the menu change. Food was ordinary, nothing extraordinary. When we left the server came to me to claim about my note on the biil. I put a note “really bad service, wait for my review”. She didn’t like that apparently, but she included the tip as part of the bill. I told her that it was insulting from her side to come after me. Not enough and the russian manager came after to challenge my wife, not me because I was in the valet area already. Very brave from him. He wasn’t happy when he saw me coming to him of course. He ended up running away and telling the security guy to control the situation they created by themselves. Not a place to go. My impression: this is a horrible restaurant run by bad people..Mark my words and you will see the end of this restaurant.

I went dinner with my family and first of all, music is so loud that u cant barely enhoy your food. You cant barely hear the person at ur side. Second, manager closed our tabs and told us to move! We paid over $500 in our table, we spent 10 more minutes talking before we leave. Manager came to us in a very rude way and asked us to leave!

We arrive and the valet charges us 30 plus the service (tip) included since we paid by card. When we arrived at the reception the girl told us that the reservation we made by phone did not exist, and that she would try to get a table, so we waited for around 45 minutes, when we finally sat down they literally gave us the worst table, with people standing on the sides very close to our table. The drinks took an hour to arrive and even came after we had already finished the appetizer, a virgin mango mojito that we returned since it only tasted like water with mint and 3/4 of a lemon slice, the waitress didn't even apologize and I ended up drinking alone water since the bar was delayed and I had to wait another hour to have another one. The branzino was good, the asparagus was cold and the risoto lacked cooking, the risoto did not have a good flavor and all the food was cold. In the end the bill arrived, we realized that the waitress did not pick up the mojito that we returned and when we called her without telling her anything, she already knew that the mojito was overcharged. Very bad experience. To never return again.

Such a great place! Great view great food and great atmosphere! And I have to say that the service was better than what I would have expected.

This place is horrible with customer service in general. They have a telephone number that no one picks up ever or returns calls . The location is amazing but that was basically provided by nature . I have been too many restaurants and be aware if you do visit The Deck they act like if they are doing you a favor coming to the Restaurant. To be honest if you enjoy overpriced mediocre food and drinks come here and be treated in a very dismissal attitude by staff .

This was an unfortunate Miami restaurant experience. The venue is very pretty, surrounded by the Miami skyline and beautiful yachts because it is in the Marina. However the food and the service are below mediocre. The shrimp cocktails came with a little bit of sauce which looked like it had been made a few days a go. The shrimp was fresh but needed something to go with it. So I asked for lemon, olive oil and crackers. My husband’s tuna tartare also was too plain. One of the main courses, crab carbonara came way before my husband’s pizza so I had to send the pasta to be reheated! The music was terribly loud and not even nice. The tables didn’t look too clean and needed some decoration. Only the cocktails were OK. Definitely not worth the $$$$!

Heads up, they do not offer valet on weekdays lunch. We found this out the hard way just waiting in the car with no one coming to see us, so we just parked and walked in. Awesome view, very Mediterranean, costal vibe, big whicker chairs, heavy pillows, candles, nice. Had the raw wahoo - outstanding! and the lobster risotto - just okay. The 25$ prefix lunch menu really is worth it. Friend for zucchini croquettes, streak frites with a salad and fruit salad. Would definitely return, check it out!

I have been living in Miami for almost 7 years. 7 years of birthday celebrations with different venues and themes so when it came down to my 40th birthday, I kinda ran out of ideas and options as to how I can make this stepping stone different. And then ….. there it was! Staring me in the eyes … The Deck!!! I used to frequent The Deck right when they opened and was a loyal customer until the day they closed. Their Sundays were amazing so bearing that in mind, I went there to see what we can arrange for my birthday. I was introduced to the wonderful Veronica. I have no idea how she did it, but she managed on a very short notice, to make out of a very stressful situation, the best experience. She listened carefully to my wishes, guided and advised me with the menu and the drinks, helped me plan, arrange and decorate the cabana I rented out. And as if this wasn’t enough, she assigned (in my opinion) THE BEST server to the table, Martha. Of course I arrived late to my own birthday party but guess what?! Martha took very good care of my guests and everyone was delighted. The timing of the kitchen was perfect so we all ate everything hot, the bar and the bar backs were on point. No one ever felt the lack of anything. They created a beautiful and cozy atmosphere where all of our wishes were met and then some. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! For a very stress free and successful birthday party. Incredible experience thanks to Veronica, Martha and all The Deck team

This restaurant is all about the setting. The service was OK but the prices should have allowed for more variety and better food.

Is imposible talking to other guests. The music too loud. The atmosphere is a Circus. frankly, Really a terrible night. The place has to decide if wants to be a night club or a restaurant.

Would be a good location but the extremely loud sound destroys the whole atmosphere. We asked the waiter to turn the sound less noisy, he asked the manager of the restaurant but he said he can‘t do that. It‘s louder than in a disco. By the way the prices are much to high: $58 plus tax plus tip for a steak.

We arrived at 1:40 for a 2:00 brunch reservation. We ordered drinks at bar and waited for our table for 5 for my husband's bday celebration. At 2:09 we were told that we would be seated at a large table next to the water. We settled our bar tab and were walked to the table to be seated. When we got to table there were other people sitting at the table. We were told by the hostess that her manager gave the table to another party and therefore, we were asked to sit in an isolated area completely separate from the dining area. Very disappointing!! Poor customer service! I have never experienced anything like this. We were asked to go back to the bar. We waited for 40 minutes and no table. My parents owned a very successful restaurant in miami for 21 years. We would never treat any customer like this. We had to leave the restaurant. They did not try and accommodate us even though we had a 2:00 reservation. This was the worse experience ever!!

This restaurant has a great terrace on the sea. Food is good (we came on Sunday for brunch - a buffet with plenty of choice but no à la cart menu), drinks too and the service average.

Absolutely love the Deck ! The atmosphere is very cool& terrific service especially Zoltan , he took excellent care of us! Delicious food ! The Pear Ravioli a must and very large variety of exotic cocktails ! Definitely the hot new hip place!!!! We will be back soon! Thanks to all at the Deck !

I went to The Deck with my wife, two friends and a couple of friends on a Saturday night. It wasn't crowded and the scenic view helped to make the visit worthwhile. The food was perfect and the waiter worked well. It gets pricey only if you order a wine or a champagne. I'll get back.

Firstly, you guys need to train you waiters to service that tables better: (1) no table settings were there even after food was served. I finally asked after few minutes (2) ther server never once cane out to say how the food was (3) I guess this server noticed we were not buying as much alcohol (4) this is my 7th time here and 5 out 7 were terrible service. I finally decided to do a review.

Such a beautiful place with awesome views. We just stopped in for drinks and the service at the bar was great. The drinks were extremely delicious and worth the price! Highly recommend this place!
5 stars just for the view
We went to the Deck for brunch on Father’s Day, but view and ambiance make this a perfect spot for a date night. Incredible place to enjoy a drink and the view of Downtown Miami. They don’t have their usual brunch, but I found the food options good: we had pizza for the kids and steak. The pear pizza is a must! Delicious.
