We just discovered this cozy restaurant by the Trader Joe's in the Ballard Blocks of Seattle. It had great reviews, so we gave it a try. I ate a huge serving of lemon ricotta pancakes which were absolutely delicious! The pancakes were topped with fresh berries and Devonshire cream; so decadent and yummy. My husband enjoyed a stack of "regular" pancakes, which were also great. Service was very friendly and excellent. We'll be back!

Whether its breakfast, a quick lunch or late dinner I have never been disappointed here. They serve very large portions. The bloody marys in the morning are great. The staff is always friendly and the prices reasonable. What more could you want from a place that is very accessible and always open.

Had a really good breakfast. No waiting here versus the usual Ballard options. Service was prompt and friendly, breakfast was tasty. The owner also stopped by our table to check on us and ensure everything was good - always a measure of a business that cares about quality and their customers.

With a very large menu of breakfast and lunch items you can find anything from an omelette to a BLT to pancakes and more for everyone in your party. With small and large tables you can have business meetings here or bring large groups. The service was pretty fast, but the food did take awhile to come out without the restaurant being super busy. Tip: You can park for free in the large garage attached!

Whatever you want for breakfast (all day), they have it here. THE MENU IS ENORMOUS!! Eggs in all possible combinations. .Also home to sandwiches and salads. Portions are most generous, I've heard from others that their coffee is quite delicious, and I heartedly recommend trying this restaurant out. I can personally recommend the Swedish pancakes (Yummy) as well as the three egg vegetarian breakfast. The staff is most accommodating to your needs. Well worth an outing from downtown. There is an outdoor seating space between the escalators up/down from Ross and the restaurant. They can host good size groups as well, with advance notice and arrangement. Located just off the Ballard Bridge in the Ballard Locks complex where they share a *free* parking garage with Trader Joe's, an LA Fitness Signature Club and Ross as well as other smaller business stores. One block from the METRO RAPIDRIDE D line N bound stop either just off the bridge, or 2-3 blocks away going under the bridge approach from the S bound stop by the large storage facility on NW Leary Way. This S bound stop also serves other METRO lines in Ballard heading S.

I was hunting for a decent breakfast place in the Ballard area and just happened upon this gem of a new restaurant, tucked away in a little shopping center, with parking, fitness, retail stores, and with a view across the ship canal toward downtown Seattle. A varied menu (I had the Louisiana Omelet -- I could see and smell the veggies, which I like!), good, strong coffee (could still be a little stronger for my taste!), small and crowded, quite a few families with kids, quick, friendly service, reasonable prices. Worth the hunt!

Getting harder these days to find somewhere that not only offers up a great selection of breakfast items but even harder to find one that also offers them all day. The Egg & Us in Ballard is one of those places and seem to do it pretty well. The food was very good and plentiful and I would have given it 4 out of 5 except the service was really slow and pretty much ignored me so thank goodness the food took my full attention. I am hoping this was just a fluke and next time will be better. Reasonable and very clean surroundings.

Wow this place is sooooo good We came here for family breakfast during our visit in Seattle....we ordered all sorts of omelettes/breakfast sandwich and veggie skillet and everything was super delicious

I've eaten breakfast at this restaurant twice in the last month and have had nice experiences both times. The staff is prompt, courteous, and the service is very good. The menu has a good variety (for breakfast); I especially like the Swedish pancakes - very yummy - and the prices are quite reasonable. If you are in the area give this place a try.

We were exploring a bit and my wife wanted to do some shopping and stop at Trader Joes. Walking around the building we came upon this large café that had "Swedish Pancakes" listed right in the window. I am a sucker for them. After a quick stop at "Ross" and Trader Joes, in for the pancakes. Perfect. Lingonberries and Devonshire cream. They had no hope of surviving first contact with me. Yummers.

Found Egg & Us by mistake on way to IHOP. It did not come up in a Google search. Glad I stopped in. Lovely breakfast. Denver 3 eqq omelet was filled with green peppers, onions & ham (bit skimpy on the cheese). The homemade biscuit was better than expected. Coffee was hot, fresh, and perfectly brewed. Attentive staff. Quick service, free internet.

Not many options in Ballard for breakfast and we happened to stumble on this place. All egg dishes are made with scrambled eggs. Service was slow, but food was good.

I've only had breakfast here but have always been pleased. Especially like the Swedish pancakes and the french toast. Have always had good service. Menu offers all the basics and several specials like the Swedish pancakes. Worth a visit for a good breakfast.

This place serves tasty food in huge portions. My wife had French toast and I had a California omelet. Couldn’t finish our meals due to their enormity. Parking was readily available nearby.

A restaurant with a nice feel to it. Very clean and the waitstaff works well together and checks on customers regularly. A good selection of breakfast and lunch choices on the menu. I ordered the 2 egg meal. The portion was just right and I liked being able to have fresh fruit instead of the potatoes. The bread could have been toasted a little longer, and the bacon a little crispier, but all in all a good experience.

I was shocked by the rudeness of the staff at this diner. The food is mediocre, but in a pinch I'd come back except for the bad behavior of the staff, especially towards small parties. They need customer service training badly!

This was our first visit to the Egg and Us and it went about as we expected. The food was good, served warm and the cost was about standard for this sort of meal. Our servers were friendly and engaging, and they didn't hover or rush us in any way. All in all the meals were good and we will most likely visit the place again in the future.
Great neighborhood restaurant
Eggs and us is a great neighborhood restaurant. Great food, great service. I usually stop in after work for dinner and usually get a large salad & soups are delicious. Tyler is one of the server's that works in the evening great waiter always asks if I need anything else he kind of knows me by person from eating there all the time he knows my drink before I even sit down. There salads are always fulfilling loaded with vegetables fresh and healthy. There burgers are really good also.
