We ate here for dinner as we were staying at the hotel and we were so tired but so hungry. The menu was a bit strange for us, so we shared a kale salad and the asparagus and everything was so fresh and so delicious.

My wife and I received a couple of vouchers to this restaurant as the Club level was closed. Decent breakfast buffet, similar to a typical buffet except for the smoked salmon lox. If you have a voucher, suggestion is to order off of the regular menu. Our Pacific omelette was pretty good. We also ordered Lattes in ToGo cups. Although voucher notes that tips are covered, nice to give tips anyway.

Stayed at the Renaissance Seattle Hotel, and wanted dinner. There is no way to reach the restaurant except through the front desk, and the front desk was not picking up despite five plus minutes of ringing off the hook. So I then walked down there myself to place the order. Room service wasn't available for everything so had to pick up the order too myself. This was quite inconvenient as I already had showered and was in my PJs, and so having to go downstairs just to place the order was not great. So was not very happy when I was slapped with a 20% service charge, even though I didn't have good service, no one picked up the phone, and I had to go downstairs myself twice to place and then pick up the order. Tips should only be for good service and this was poor service that I was forced to still tip 20% for even though I didn't really get any table service or delivery from them. The sauce that the appetizer scallops were on was this cloyingly sweet, not very delicate sauce kind of like an apple jelly. Not delicate at all.

As a Marriott Platinum member I got two vouchers for breakfast at the Fig & Judge because the hotel lounge was closed on the weekends. I made a reservation through Opentable and we were seated next to the window once we arrived. After reviewing the menu, we thought it would be easiest to get the breakfast buffet for the whole family. The buffet had a fruit station, hot station (bacon, chicken sausage, potatoes and scrambled eggs), a bread/pastry station, and cereal station. My daughter was most surprised that there was smoked salmon. A choice of beverage is included with the menu but I didn’t realize that until I checked the menu for this review (oops). Before we had decided what to order, the server brought shooter sized strawberry smoothies for all 4 of us, which was a nice surprise. Overall, food quality was mix of average to good. What really stood out was the service. Host and server always called me by name, and were always super friendly and attentive. As we only had two vouchers, I was expecting to pay for my kids meals at a minimum but the server gladly said that their meals were covered too. Considering there is a standard 20% service charge on all bills, I thought that was very generous (I gave them a 20% cash tip anyways). Even as we got ready to leave, the server asked whether my wife wanted a to-go cup for the remaining coffee in the carafe! Very thoughtful, and we gladly accepted. Decent food. Incredible service.

My wife and I had spent many hours on the road to reach our hotel in Seattle, The Renaissance Seattle for her birthday weekend. Arriving late, we decided to relax and eat at the restaurant in the hotel after looking at the digital menu board the hotel had in the lobby. She decided on an item that she was particularly interested in because of the ingredients. When we arrived at the restaurant the server came over with a menu and this food dish was not shown on the menu. When asked we were told, "No longer being offered". The only reason we came to this restaurant was for this particular menu item my wife stated. We asked the server if the chef could make it anyway, and was told no. My wife was not a very happy person at this point being a Marriott Titanium Elite Lifetime Member which is the highest status within the Marriott rewards program. I asked the server if she could send over the restaurant manager and within a few minutes Liza Soranaka arrived. She was absolutely wonderful. She listened to our request and worked with the chef to use ingredients on site to get as close as possible to what my wife wanted that was listed on the digital menu since apparently not all the exact ingredients were in the kitchen. Apparently a new chef had stated working there a few days prior and changed the menus. While we waited, she offered us a nicely prepared charcuterie board as an appetizer. When the entree arrived it was perfectly done with a side order of truffle fries. As we were prepared to leave and settle our check, she told us that this was at no charge. But that wasn't the end. Shortly thereafter, she personally delivered a nice bottle of Pinot Noir to our room gratis. What could have been a disastrous night turned out to be a absolutely wonderful night thanks to Liza!!!

I mainly ate here just for breakfast. The place was quite busy the days I stayed at the hotel. The staff were friendly. The food was good. The service was quick.

Stayed at the Renaissance and this is the all day and breakfast restaurant. Larger and livelier thsn i expected. The food includes the basic food groups all 3-4 star US hotels have - scrambled eggs, potatos, sausage and cereal. But they do have some extras like 6 types of bagels. And decent service 7/10

I had an outstanding meal and the servers were super attentive. I highly recommend it. Service was fast and food of high quality.

was on the training at this hotel, and we all got one hour to go eat, so by default, everyone showed up at this restaurant. We showed up first, and no one was there to sit us, waited for a few, then went around the back to ask if it's open. Then they sat us, got our order and 40 min later we were still waiting for it. Everyone who showed up after us was already eating. I came up to the manager and asked about our order, and 10 min later it showed up leaving only 10 min for us to eat. They had only one server, she was frantically running between the tables and soon there was a line of people at a cashier waiting to pay. And btw, 20% service fee is auto included. Terrible service, get more staff people, and be aware of which trainings are taking place so you aren't surprised by people wanting to eat at your restaurant.

Met friends for lunch as I have done in the past. Since Day 1 I have never ordered anything else! Wish they had a liquor bar as well as their beer and wine menu.

After trying without success to get service on the bar, we decided to go up a floor to this restaurant. Great choice! Not crowded and pretty much the same menu. The steelhead and chicken dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!
Delicious, diverse buffet
Wonderful spread complemented by a hard-working super friendly staff. Fresh and plentiful buffet or order off the menu.
