Did the tourist thing and went to the waterfront in Seattle. We ate an early dinner and were pleased with the service and food. The location is amazing! Classic waterfront dining.

Had a wonderful dinner with great atmosphere! Chowder, oysters and king crab legs were all terrific! Expensive but not as bad as other places nearby. Would recommend.

We went here for dinner on our last night during a recent visit to Seattle. We had just ridden the Great Wheel, so we were right there. There was no wait to be seated on a nice day, so maybe I should have assumed something was off with this place. Once we were seated, it took over 20 minutes for someone to take our drink and food orders, and then another 10-15 minutes before we got anything from our waiter. He seemed to be chatting with people he knew at some other tables and would seem to disappear for large stretches of time. The beer and food was okay but a bit on the pricey side considering the quality, but it was a nice night to be sitting out along the water watching the ferries and the Great Wheel, and enjoying the sunset over the sound. We would not go back to this restaurant during our next visit to Seattle; there are so many better places with better food and better service.

We visited as a family of four, two adults two kids 10 and 12. Not a busy day, mid week. First off, we got seated away from the windows with a view, there were three nice tables with good views but when I specifically asked for one of those, I was told that they were reserved. No one ever was seated there the whole time we were there. This was mid day, mid week. My wife got the fish tacos but they were so salty we should have returned them. I got fish and chips that were fine. If we had gotten a decent table, we would have stayed longer and spent more. Instead we didn't get drinks or an appetizer. Treat us well and we will go big, treat us like we are in your way and we will gladly move along. Don't waste your time with this place. The problem is, there aren't many choices in this area for basic sit down family food. This area is very cool to visit but not that many food places, not like San Fran's fisherman's warf.

Had lunch here with a friend of mine. Our waitress, Michelle, was amazing and did a great job suggesting food. She was very honest and friendly. The food was fantastic!! We even had a seagull staring us down for it!

We wanted to get a couple of drinks during happy hour. We were taken to a table. The server told us we have to go to bar for happy hour. We went there. Waited at the bar for 10 mins. The bartender -asks us for our ids. What the f... I am nearly 50 and wife is getting there a nd this woman wanted to see our id. Anyways both of us showed ids and then the bartender asks another dude if Canadian ids are valid. First time anywhere a 50 yr old has to show id to get a drink. Absolute losers of an establishment. There on the whole ordeal went downhill. This lady bartender seemed overworked and stressed. The whole "happy" went out of the happy hour.

Ideally located on the waterfront, beside the ferris wheel. We spent a lovely couple of hours enjoying drinks and meeting new people. Beautiful sunny day to people watch everyone getting on the ferris wheel.

Lots of outside seating with excellent views of the water, or you can watch the Great Wheel going around. The staff were very helpful and accommodated a change of seating to move out of the sun. The menu had a number of favorites and we had mussels to start, then Crab and Shrimp Louie Salad. The mussels were 1lb, and the salad huge. If you like IPA, get the 10 Barrel Apocalypse, it's unfiltered and excellent,

The staff was very friendly, mind you I came late on a Monday and not may people here. I order the crab pot I believe it’s called. It delicious, wish it was a bit cheaper but a tons of food and good crab. The drink are also very tasty, especially the sunset.

Stopped by for happy hour and spent 45 minutes being ignored by the “bar tender” at the upstairs bar. Had to get up to leave, then raise my voice just to settle my tab. Happy hour? No, more like amateur hour.

We had a nice dinner for a family of four with a 14 year old and an 11 year old. The fish and chips out of halibut was delicious. My daughter had buttered noodles off the kids menu and loved it. My son had grilled salmon and really enjoyed it. My husband had the fettuccine alfredo with prawns and also said that was very good. Our server was friendly and did a great job sign recommendations. Service was fairly quick. We got a table where we could overlook the harbor which was really nice. Was worth the stop.

Seat was full of water to start and fish in fish taco was so over cooked it was rubber did not finish. The fish and chips were ok. Eat at the market and walk the waterfront for free.

We did the Miners Landing/Pier 57 thing. Unfortunately, we were there during the WORST of the smoky, unhealthy skies due to the forest fires. So we looked at but didn't go on the Big Wheel. After shopping and Wings Over Washington we looked around the 3 or so restaurants on this pier, and liked the look of The Fishermans Restaurant and Bar. We sat outside and were right next to the Big Wheel. Our foursome all love seafood, and this turned out to be an excellent place to get good seafood. We started with the calamari appetizer. It was prepared just right and the four of us shared it. My spouse had the Dungeness crab and king salmon entrée, I had the grilled halibut. Our friends also had seafood, but I can't remember the specific entrees. We all enjoyed our dining experience here. We all found our meals to be excellent, and the location can't be beat. Our wait person seemed a little harried and wasn't real attentive. That's our only criticism. This is a great seafood restaurant and very busy. You can't beat the location!

The view outside on the patio was excellent. The food was a bit overpriced (16$ for a chicken caesar salad). The clam chowder was good and so was the food. Our waiter was very friendly and kind. I mostly enjoyed the view.

Several of us asked our waitress for recommendations and she was spot on. I was looking at the crab cakes and she said they were the best. She also recommended tacos and one of the fish and chips. Everything was delicious. Location is perfect

Our server Cassidy was awesome, friendly and attentive. The mussels were excellent, and the view was amazing! Highly recommend!

We stopped here to have some drinks near the water after doing a food tour of the market. We sat in the outside lounge area under the big wheel. Our server was not very attentive and it took us forever to get our drinks. We both asked for a glass of water and we ended up with one which we had to share because our server disappeared. Service was so bad some people were walking up to the bar itself and purchasing their drinks vs waiting on our server. View was great, but wish the glass walls around the outside seating were a little lower so we could have gotten a bit of a breeze.

Was in Seattle for a few days and my son wanted some place good for chowder and fish and chips. Was in the downtown area so we decided to try the fisherman. We were very dissatisfied. Our dinner was just okay and for the quality and quanity of food they are very overpriced. I don't mind paying for good food but not for mediocre food. Service was good but will not return. View is good but not worth it. I should of did my first choice on the harbor and went to Ivar's.

I have NEVER given below a 3 on any review I have ever done until this one. My husband and I went to this restaurant based on a recommendation because the other restaurants we planned on eating at closed early on Sunday evenings in February. We were immediately seated when we arrived which ended up being the only part that went well. Most restaurants had their menus posted outside, but this one didn't. I don't know if it had just recently been removed or if this is normal, but we were floored by the prices when we sat down. After our initial sticker shock, we waited another 15 minutes for a server to come for our drink orders. We both ordered water to begin and were planning to order from the bar. It took another 10 minutes to get those waters. (Mind you, there were only three other tables that we saw and each had their own server...it was certainly not crowded.) We were pretty annoyed by this time, but we went ahead and ordered our food. After our waiter walked into the kitchen, I whispered to my husband that I thought he might be high. He seemed to be in Lala land. Well, about 35 minutes later...our waiter returned to ask us to repeat our order!!!! THIS IS AN HOUR AFTER BEING SEATED. My husband and I looked at each other, repeated the order, and the waiter walked away. No apology, nothing. At this point, we were hungry, tired, annoyed, and just mad especially knowing how much money we were about to spend on this awful experience. We did something we have NEVER done before....we got up and left. We only had water, so we had no bill to pay. Our server came out as we were leaving, my husband told him to cancel the order. He asked what happened and why we were leaving. My husband told him that we had been waiting an hour in an almost empty restaurant for food that wasn't being prepared and we were done. So, we left. I can't give an opinion on the actual food because we never received anything we ordered. Again, we have never walked out of a restaurant before. I have never given a 1 rating before. We felt like this night absolutely deserved it. I know it has been given very high ratings, and I don't know if we just were there on a bad night, but we could never recommend it to anyone else.

Located at the end of a pier, this restaurant has a wonderful location - too bad the food did not live up to the views. We stopped in for lunch while waiting for a harbor cruise that departed nearby. Since we were on the pier, we tried their Fish & Chips - but are disappointed. Overpriced and overcooked. My wife tried a house salad (sadly small) and the chowder bowl - very average. Loved the view - disappointed with the quality of the food.

Service was excellent. The Clam Chowder was one of the best. Fresh Fish dishes. Seating outside under the Great Big Wheel of Seattle.

Ideally situated on the Seattle waterfront. Good varied menu of mainly seafood which was well cooked and presented. More of a pub atmosphere and we ate outside on the decking with efficient patio heaters. Great service.

I was traveling solo and please to be sat right away at a beautiful outside table with views of the water. Then I waited, and waited and waited- 15 minutes while servers, hosts and bus staff all walked by then stood around chatting. Finally a server came over- not even his section, apologized and got my order ASAP. Chef brought it out and apologized which I did appreciate. Had a Cesar Salad- it was fine- average not great not bad- got the job done. Next was the deconstructed Shrimp cocktail- shrimp was a good size but very salty. Sauce said it had horseradish but was not spicy whatsoever. If you like a quick to your sauce ask for extra Horsey Sauce!

Food was great! Servers were not very friendly, but service was adequate. We had 5 in our party and everyone was well pleased with their choice. The wagyu burger was possibly the best burger I've had. The fish and chips, clam chowder, fish tacos and crab sandwich were the other orders and all were delicious.

My daughter and I arrived early evening for a light supper. The server was not very interested once we placed our order for an appetizer and soup. Water glasses were no refilled. The calamari appetizer was great. My clam chowder was very thick...there were no potatoes and few clams...I wondered I had the lost bowl ifrom the pot! My daughter was happy with her tomato based seafood soup. Disappointing meal.

Let me start that I live in Seattle and it buffles me that in a city with so much fresh seafood, it's hard to find a place that knows how cook it... There are few good places, but Fisherman's is not one of them. Fishermans is something special, so bad, that after eating lunch here I am going up to Pike Place market to pick up some clams and mussles to cook them at home. I had Clams and seafood chowder. Clams were terrible, tiny, in a broth that smelled of chemicals. Seafood chowder was a draining in a cheap tomato paste with little fish if any.

This is our favorite Seattle restaurant. The atmosphere is so much fun, the food is amazing and nothing beats the view!

A great adventure to the market and I come across a wonderful seafood restaurant. The bartender was friendly and a wealth of information and recommendations. And I am glad I listened as I had some of the best salmon since coming to visit Seattle.

The view of Seattle waterfront with ferry boats along with the ferris wheel provided a great place for our lunch. . The service was good, and so was the food.

Just stopped in for a light quick lunch and enjoyed some chowder and ceviche. The staff was great and the views and atmosphere was outstanding. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside and was able to enjoy the meal without the wind because of the way their patio was set up, very nice

Went here for dinner because we had to wait a while for Elliott's Oyster House. Most everyone was outside (where there was a nice view). Was able to get a table inside. Had the trout which was okay. The veggies (broccolini?) and rice pilaf were marginal. I know you're paying for the view, but the price was steep for a marginal meal. Of all the dinners in Seattle, this ranked 2nd lowest. Next time we wait for the table.

A friend and I had just gotten to Seattle and were wandering around looking for a place to have a drink on the pier. We saw the large outdoor patio so we went. Not disappointed. The menu has something for everyone. The drink menu had a lot of different options. Get the wine flight. The portions were very generous and the taste was fresh and really good!! I would definitely go back. But pricey though, but all of Seattle is pricey!

Ordered Sole stuffed with dungenous crab. It was dressed with a heavy sauce, the stuffing was gross with no taste of crab and the fish was not recognizable. No idea I was eating fish. There are better places.

Wonderful atmosphere! Great tables and views! Really nice staff. So, over priced for such terrible food! We are in SEATTLE! Where the hell did they get their steamer clams? HORRIBLE! The calamari was rubbery, and the dipping sauce was a joke. The best part of the meal was the bread!

I definitely would not recommend this restaurant for your evening meal. The wait was only 30 minutes but once seated...it went downhill from there. In just under 2 hours we were only served one round of drinks and all a cup of chowder...that we didn’t order. One of our guest had to go to the bar for second round. Never got the salads, bread or anything else.

They have a great view on the waterfront right by the EYE. They have a nice menu, but the prices are on the high end. It seems they cater to the tourists. The food quality was good, but not outstanding

Good service & food - tempura prawns & chips, house salad & stuffed sole with rice & veg. No issues with food at all. Sat outside on upper floor with good views.

After my ride on the Great Wheel, what better way to celebrate than Happy Hour at the Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar! I tried Clam Chowder for the first time ever and I am HOOKED!!!

We just stopped here for a drink. We wanted to sit on the water, the view was nice. Drinks were tasty, I’m still baffled that you can mix your red bull and alcohol together legally here, that’s not allowed in Canada. Nevertheless we enjoyed the red sangria with red bull in it- I know my poor heart, poor life choices on my part. We had a tough time finding the entrance, but we made it!

It was next to the Seattle Great Wheel so we decided to try their Pacific Rim Salmon and kid's Fish and chips for lunch. The location was good even though we couldn't see the nice view from where we were seated. The server was friendly but the food was average. It is probably more beautiful at night.

It's my first time to try the Manhattan Red Chowder and their Fried Calamari Strips, it was awesome! The Red Chowder was nicely seasoned and the Calamari Strips are crunchy and fresh. Service is good and ambiance is really amazing.

Chose this restaurant for lunch based on the outdoor deck. Was not disappointed. I am not a seafood person so I had a burger which was fantastic. My husband had fried clams and thought they some of the best he's ever had. Lunch service was fast even though the restaurant was crowded. A bit expensive--but in line with the area.

Four adults, a 15 year old and a 12 year old. The bill was a couple bucks less than $250. I had fried oysters, rice pilaf & mixed vegetables and a salad. My husband had halibut, fries, mixed vegetables. Oysters were just okay, pilaf was almost tasteless as were the veggies. My husbands halibut was close to what you would pull out of the freezer and pop in the oven, fries were hard. Son-in-law said his seafood & pasta was ok, daughter had stuffed sole which seemed a small serving for the price but did have a good flavor. Grandson had the (excuse spelling) Cicciopini and Granddaughter had the crab legs,, corn on the cob + whatever else came with it. I had an $8 salad which was greens & cucumber slices, croutons. I was embarrassed when I saw the bill. My son-in-law was treating us and I slipped him $40 to help defray the cost of our meal. The next night my husband and I went to a place in Butte Montana and had almost the identical meal my husband had in Seattle for less than half the price and it was exceptional! Our server Brook was very attentive to our needs. I was pretty parched and she made sure to keep my ice water topped off throughout the meal. Frankly, the meal would have been a disappointment at a total cost of $150. The actual price of the meal was highway robbery considering the quality of the food and its preparation.

While walking along the waterfront on a recent visit to Seattle, my husband and I stopped in here for supper. It was a disapponting experience. Pros: the waitress was pleasant and efficient and the bread was fresh. Cons: 1) Margarine was served with the bread. When I asked for butter the waitress brought me some type of melted oil with garlic which I assume they serve with lobster as "garlic butter". It tasted like melted margarine. 2) When our main courses of salad with grilled salmon arrived, my husband's was missing dressing and many pieces of the lettuce in my salad were wilted and rotting. 3) As we waited for our check I noticed another of the wait staff clear bread and plates from a table of people who had just sat down and hadn't even been served their main course. Their waitress then had to bring them more bread. Don't eat here.

Happy hour and we decided to drop in for a couple of drinks. After getting the drinks menu, we were forgotten about. Eventually got to put in an order for 2 drinks - they were delivered promptly by someone else and were enjoyable. We then had to wait almost 10 minutes to pay. Overall, almost an hour to have one drink each, so we didn’t stay.

Great chowder, calamari and customer service. We were certainly prepared to compromise. This restaurant is on the water directly under the Ferris Wheel on the pier and clamoring for all the tourist dollars being spent on the waterfront. Kevin was our server and he was fantastic. Truly personable, attentive and professional. We were looking to kill time due to a (long) delayed flight home but this stop turned our day around. Kevin suggested some wine and chowder to check out the view and we expanded our lunch to include some fried calamari. He made sure we always had bread and wine and we overheard his suggestions for nearby tables. He is a great server and certainly sells the menu and the views. The clam chowder is truly amazing. As a life-long New Englander I am skeptical about any chowder from a harbor-side “tourist trap” but his was really incredible. The base is certainly New England style chowder with a creamy base but the addition of (a lot) of spices turned it into something *completely* recognizable but still different. A decent chef will instantly recognize the spices but I could not figure them out. Kevin suggested adding a few drops of Tapatio hot sauce into the chowder (unheard of in Boston) and it was a great fit. I have never had chowder spiced so completely differently. The calamari are breaded and fried strips—not the bodies and tentacles we have always had in the past. These are finger-long cuts from a calamari steak. They are more the size and consistency of a mozzarella stick. The strips were served with two large portions of a seasoned tartar sauce and marina. I was prepared for a *large* trade-off for substandard food and rushed service to get the great harbor views but this restaurant gets 5-stars for view, service and food. Great way to spend an afternoon. Kevin was great. Well done all.

We went in for a late lunch. Wait was 20 minutes even though there were quite a few open tables. Our service was fine. We ordered the clam chowder, the fish chowder and mushrooms stuffed with Dungeness crab. The clam chowder, though tasty was heavily salted. The soup was more yellow than creamy. In his fish chowder, my husband basically thought the veggies were canned and mushy. (Who cuts carrots into little squares?) He also said it didn’t have much fish. The mushrooms were covered in some sort of cheese sauce. If there was crab, we couldn’t find it. We did not have any alcohol just iced tea. It was $43 dollars before tip. Kind of pricey for what we ate and quality of food.

We ate here on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The upstairs bartender was very helpful and told us we could sit there and order food. He was super busy but was never irritable or cranky with customers. He helped the waitress whenever he could, and explained to us that all their summer help had gone back to school, and it was an unusually busy Lunchtime for September. We ordered the stuffed salmon and salmon blt, they arrived quickly and were delicious! Thank you!

I suspect any restaurant would rather the lead be Great Location and Great food. While the food and service offer much to please both one's taste and temperament; its really the location next to the Seattle Ferris Wheel (Pier 57) that may distinguish this eatery from the others along the Seattle Waterfront. As one might surmise, they specialize in all things seafood but they do offer other options if desired; select meat dishes, etc. We opted for the seafood and were not disappointed. Portions are generous, served in a timely fashion and to taste; prices are what you'd expect of a downtown venue along the waterfront--generally affordable even if a bit pricey. Parking is an issue, lots across the street you'll pay for but only a short walk from the restaurant. We'd go there again, particularly if we wanted to go on the Wheel. Really enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake--plenty for two to share.

Will not go back here. Server was totally disinterested. My wife asked about gluten free options and was told bluntly there was salad nothing else. Asked several questions but server gave one word answers. Food was absolute bland and had no flavour. DO NOT USE THE WASHROOMS!! Absolutely disgusting (female ones)

We spent the night near Pier 66 before our cruise left the next day. So, for dinner, we walked to Fishermans. Some friends had eaten there earlier in the day and really enjoyed it. It's literally right under the Ferris Wheel so you should have no trouble finding it. We were seated immediately but it took a bit for our server to get to us. They weren't terribly busy, but the staff seemed to be running around a lot so maybe they were short-handed. Our server was very nice and did have some recommendations when asked. My wife had the Seabass Picatta from the Specials menu, and I had the PNW Captain's Plate (Cod, Halibut, Calamari & Prawns) from the regular menu. My wife thought the seabass was excellent. She did note that she would have liked a few more of the vegetables and a little less of the mashed potatoes but the preparation and flavors were spot on. The Captain's Plate was pretty much like any fried seafood plate. Everything was tasty and there was plenty of it. Our bill with tip was ~$100. (I had a Coke, and my wife had a couple of glasses of a house wine.) We enjoyed sitting and watching the people getting on and off of the Ferris Wheel and just looking out across the water. I don't know if any of the other places around there were better or worse or about the same. But we don't regret choosing Fisherman's for our one meal before leaving Seattle on our cruise.

The menu was slightly more reasonable for harbor front than other restaurants. The short ribs were melt in your mouth - except that they tasted as though a whole salt shaker had been upended in it. I ended up being unable to finish the dish due to the excessive salt. The salads were well sized and the Caesar salad was very tasty. Drinks were good and service was quick and attentive.

This location is fantastic it is such a shame it is spoilt by the obnoxious bar tender on the ground floor. If rude was an art form he would be Van Gogh. We visited the bar twice and the service was extremely consistent, rude and flippant. The younger upstairs team on the other hand were extremely friendly and helpful. My advice, as you age, if you don’t enjoy working behind a bar and engaging with customers do something else. You are damaging the reputation of the restaurant with your negative attitude. The only time you make an effort is when presenting the bill, clearly looking for a tip. We will not be back….

Food great, service horrible. Poor Will looked like he did not want to be there. Even after writing everything down, he still did not know who ordered what. So sad, with COVID-19 and everything you would think that service would be stepped up. To add insult to injury, they are now adding 3% to all bills for staff members. It's not a gratuity. I ordered the Cioppino dish. A fish dish covered in broth. It was awesome except for the fact that you had to grab the crab legs, covered in sauce, to crack them item. I really enjoyed the flavor minus my hands soaked in sauce.

We will never go back.....the crab was over cooked and we had to send it back. Rubbery and awful. Very over priced . The patio was filthy. The ladies washroom absolutely disgusting. Makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. So disappointed. The service was ok. The best thing about the whole dinner was how friendly the nice fella was who brought us water. And when they bring the bill to the table while you are still eating is very poor service.

In the middle of one of the tourist areas of Seattle we did not expect a lot from any of the restaurants. We were also with a couple very picky eaters and were having trouble finding a place that was good for everyone. The Fisherman's restaurant was a great find. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly smiling faces who were very helpful in explaining the menu. We were seated right away and the waiter and bus boy promptly made sure we had drinks and answered any questions we had. Everything we ordered was great. The portions were large without being overwhelming. Sitting around us were a number of other tourists and regulars. Somehow we managed to get involved in conversations with them and the employees without feeling that they were being intrusive or interrupting our meal (I hope they felt the same way). It was a very pleasant evening.

Clam chowder with cream sauce is well made an flavorful. Oysters are good but small. The crab bacon sandwich was very good and nice and moist. Fried shrimp were nicely sized. Potatoes are frozen. The grilled halibut was a bit dry but veggies were excellent.

We had the Crab Feast which ended with enormous Dungeness, King and Spider Crabs. The taste of each was amazing and presented perfectly. Great views over the bay with friendly waiting staff, a great memory of Seattle.

Located just outside the Great Wheel there are lovely views across the seafront. Lovely furnishing and good choice of wines and beers. Lots of lovely food being served but ours was a short visit so time only for drinks and a snack. Waiter service was helpful and polite.

We walked from Century Link Event center to dinner. Three of us had a fair dinner. Shrimp and crab seafood salad was nothing special. Sourdough Bread was great. Chicken dinner was just okay according to associate. Our vegan associate really enjoyed his vegetarian meal. Service was excellent.

We were on the docks and getting hungry so stopped here. Tons of outdoor seating with a great view and you’re right by the Ferris wheel. I had the chicken sandwich which was delicious. The chicken was marinated in something good. Everyone else got the fish and chips and said they were good—breading was a bit thick. I’m sure there’s better places around but with where we are and the view this was a great stop (and one of us is allergic to shellfish which takes out a lot of places).

Visited here with six friends. Great view great food and good drinks. For a visitor being on the waterfront was nice. Great location.

Visited with a couple of friends. Right on the waterfront with great views. It's really relaxed and laid back with friendly staff, slick service and good food. Our server Anna was a little star, with a great can do attitude and lovely manner. Would go back in a heartbeat. Great fresh seafood and the menu not too big either so everything's done well. Thanks guys

Good food great service Charlie is excellent. Great views. Pricey but why not. Had salmon lunch and Kumamoto oysters wife had king crab sandwich. Both excellent and fresh

Had to wait an hour for a table which was OK. Went to the bar where service was actually rude. I was told no bar service unless I went to the end and stood in line. oK but then I was ignored go 20 minutes while the bar back filled tickets from the restaurant that came in after me. Finally seated. No drinks for maybe 20 minutes. Food came less the appetizers. Asked for hot sauce it never came. Never saw the waiter until we asked for the bill. Food was OK but you can get that anywhere in the area. Halibut was prepared well but nothing special about the meal. Price on the high side which would be OK if you got any service. Not going back.

I visited this location last week after my conference in another location to experience some good oysters from Seattle. It was mid afternoon and only another couple seated on the second level. Apparently, the bartender assumed I was someone from “off the streets “ because I traveled solo with a book bag. I was served water and was told my waitress would be with me shortly. This was 15 minutes later before another waitress saw me looking in a magazine exploring my options in the area. She became super woman and I told her about her coworker who judged this book by its cover. If it wasn’t for me waiting until Wings over Washington to opened, I would have been left. Needless to say, they didn’t even have oysters, which was what I came for.

Location of the restaurant was great! We came here right after riding The Great Wheel. Had the choice of being seated either indoors or outdoors. Unfortunately, the food tasted just average. Don't think I would come back here. Definitely a tourist trap!

This restaurant is in incredible location and everything we ordered was FANTASTIC, the restaurant itself deserves a 5 star, only reason I am only giving a 4 is because of our server. Server was very nice, good personality, but was not on his game. We received lackluster service, which was a bit disappointing given the location, views and great food, could have been best dinner of our trip to Seattle. I still highly recommend this restaurant, maybe he was just having a bad night. Enjoy!

We waited quite a while for our waiter to take our order. The kids menu had good choices. The food was excellent, everyone in our party of 6benjoyed their meal.

Dined in the bar. We initially were just ordering appies, but the bartender was happy to provide a full menu. We did mussels, clams, coconut prawns, crab dip and a few other items. All were good, the coconut prawns were huge and amazing. So good we ordered it twice. The bartender kept us topped up on drinks. It was a Tuesday night, so not a lot of competition for his attention. No complaints.

I had lunch at The Fishermans after taking in a ride on The Great Wheel. The weather was lovely, so sitting on the outside patio deck was a delight. Started the meal with a cup of their clam chowder - dare I say that it was better than Ivar's? It was delicious and served with a loaf of excellent sourdough bread. My entree was a crab-stuffed salmon filet. Also excellent. I will definitely return.

Lovely setting, good facilities, good waiter (who was grossly overworked). BUT the food didn't meet expectations. I had salmon with rice - salmon was barely warm and the rice was just a sticky blob. Husband had crab stuffed sole, fresh but uninspiring with soggy veges, and smothered in to much sauce. Good bar person. Expensive for what it was, and if the waiter hadn't been so busy I would have complained. Had to wait about an hour for a table (hadn't booked).

Taylor was our waiter he was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what to get. He recommended the pomegranate rum runner which was delicious and the clam chowder. The fish and chips and salmon was so fresh and tasty. With a view of the pier and great wheel, highly recommend!

Three of us each enjoyed and shared four different fish dishes. All enjoyable! We always say we have to go back but with limited time, seldom get to do that. So, to all of you reading this, please enjoy as much as we did.

We were just in town for one night so of course, headed for the waterfront. The Fisherman's restaurant was what we expected in the tourist area- it's big busy and loud on a Saturday night. Our server was attentive and friendly. I ordered stuffed fish which was delicious.

Really great food! We had coconut shrimp, crab dip and fish and chips. It was really delicious!!! It was fun to watch the ferris wheel right above our heads as we ate and watched the ferry boats come and go.

My family and I visited The Fisherman's Restaurant for Thanksgiving - what a treat! The first three courses- chowder, clams and mussels and then a simple salad and bread come out at well timed intervals. Then the tradition Thanksgiving meal arrives! A whole turkey is presented and carved at the table along with sides such as stuffing, potatoes, gravy etc. Finally, if you have room, a choice of pie to finish. And...... all your leftovers are bagged up to take home so you don't miss out on those second day meals. $31 for adults and $16 for kids- well worth the price - no cooking and no dishes to clean up! Nice view of the Sound and our seating was mid afternoon so quiet atmosphere inside. If you feel like a change- I recommended this option as a possible new family tradition out.

The restaurant is located on the water front. The clam chowder and fisherman's chowder are excellent. Wine list is a bit lacking, but the craft beer choices are very good. Service was not good as they seemd to be very busy at lunch hour without much staff.

Had stuffed sole for dinner. It was fantastic. My husband had crab cakes and clam chowder. He thought they were very good. Our waiter, Joey, was excellent. He offered suggestions for activities while we are here in Seattle.

We are from Utah so we don't get fresh seafood, so when we had the chance to get some fresh fish and chips we couldn't pass it up. They batter the fish right there just before frying the fresh caught fish. It tastes amazing. The price is a little higher then I expected to pay, but you are in the pier and minimum wage for the employees in Seattle is $15 an hour.

Food was pretty amazing and the staff was very friendly and funny. We had as an appetizer the smoked salmon from the Pike Market next door. That alone was worth the trip. I had as a meal fish and chips and it was amazing. My co-worker had another fish dish that was great too. Literally everything we've ever had there was great.

Thank you Erika for making our reservation and putting us in a perfect table! Food was great too. View beautiful, right on the water

My wife and I enjoyed our lunch very much. Excellent service and great location, sitting outside on a beautiful day.

Old dumpy place, we did not eat but attempted to have a drink in the upstairs patio and it was painful. There is no table service so you have to line up at the bar which took half and hour. The few tables that were empty were covered with dirty dishes and overall the place was very tired.

Despite the reviews I was very disappointed in my visit here. Hostess staff preoccupied with game on television. Food overpriced! Quality- poor. Crabcakes looked as if they were frozen from a box. Other food had no flavor and honestly, I could of had a more appetizing and tasty meal at Long John Silvers - plus saved a LOT of $$$.

Great views, great service, and the seafood was SO good. We ordered a seafood platter (more like a tower) that offered fresh oysters, mussels, scallops, prawns, etc and it was so fresh and so good. We also ordered some other meals and the food was delicious. Service was probably outstanding. There's outdoor seating under umbrellas, seating that was covered almost outdoors and regular indoor seating. Great for couples, family, and the atmosphere was so fun and vibrant from the buzz of people around us.

I visited this restaurant and overall the food is good especially the family style meals. There is a bartender named Mic that is aggressive and condescending that makes me never want to go there again. Great food, mediocre service.

Charming place on the deck for happy hour Had to get Pinot instead of Chardonnay. They don’t have a Chardonnay during happy hour. Never heard of that.

What a great place on Seattle's Waterfront to have a meal, drink and watch the fascinating boat traffic.....Lots of choices on the menu and bar items as well. Relax, the staff never make you feel hurried. Great service as well. Seafood is delicious!

Great location right on the water, the ferris wheel is right off their back deck. Very old and rustic inside. Bartender was great and they had Rainier beer which I've never had so I sucked down three of those.

Had a great bread bowl of clam chowder for 10 bucks plus a very refreshing Moscow Mule for 9 bucks. Right on the waterfront and the HUGE Ferris wheel is right over your head-so you get to watch that as well!

A great restaurant by the water with lovely views. We visited here twice in just three days because I simply had to go back for a larger portion of their fantastic clam chowder, yum yum. xx

It doesn't get much better than this, outside seating overlooking the water, mouthwatering salmon & crab, spectacular service - thanks Kevin!

We were advised to choose the more expensive oysters, that are bigger, and they were tiny. The salmon supposed to be from Alaska had no taste, a pink piece of rubber, thrwon a three spoonfuls of rice plus two peices of brocolis. No taste, not nice. When asked about my satisfaction, I said that I was very unhappy. The waitress asked the manager to come and see me and she ws very rude and agressive. She insinuated that I wanted a discount, which was not the case, and so did not at any time say she was sorry that I was not satisfied. Very bad memory, dont go there, they dont deserve your visit! Terrible!

Just walk-in, without previous booking for lunch. Waiter gave us a indoor table near waterfront besides the Seattle Great Wheel, with the best seaview. Outside is cold and windy (0 C). Inside the food is hot and warm. The food saved my stomach and soul. Thanks!

Sat at the bar because of the wait, which only allowed us the bar menu. Crab cakes were excellent. Bartender was very accommodating. Stuffed mushrooms were good not excellent, crab dip was good. Would not get the California roll again. View is breathtaking!

Family of 9, all the adult dishes were poor, hard to tell if there was any actual crab in the crab cakes , salads were wilted, overcooked butterfly shrimp looked like Captain Highliner from my grocery store, prices charged would have bought a gourmet meal in my hometown!!!

Very busy stopped in for happy hour beer and cocktails service was good food was good we watched the big wheel but the parking is not good $49. For 4 hours beware of Diamond parking lots

Our family of 5 went to a late dinner earlier this week. Our server was very nice, but the server was horribly slow!! It took over two and 1/2 hours to make it through our meal. The server did make accommodations for us to move inside as it got very chilly— which was extremely nice of her. My husband got the salmon which he really enjoyed, my son the king crab legs and one of my daughters got the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Myself and my other daughter had the burger. We started with calamari and the crab dip-both were good. Otherwise, the food was just ok especially for the price. With all the fabulous options in that location, I would definitely pass on the restaurant a second time around

So, it seems they had staffing shortage issues and higher than expected traffic. Most of the problems probably stemmed from this. So, let me get right to the pros & cons. Pros - Our dishes (Salmon Fettucini, Clam Chowder Bowl & Salad) were very tasty and plentiful. - Our server, Hilda, was very friendly and made effort to meet our needs - The location along the water is prime! - Our order was taken quickly. - The host and hostesses were working very hard, as were the servers. Cons - Our food took way, way too long to come to the table. - There was no silverware on our table. I had to go searching for it. - Service did not visit our table nowhere near as often as it needed to. - It was cold, so I had to ask for our heater to be turned on. - The dining experience took so long, I didn't bother with dessert.

We had 2 crab feast meals. What a crazy and delicious amount of food. The snow, king and dungeness crab were all awesome. The muscles and clams where even better. The bread was yum. No complains at all, even a fantastic sunset outside.

I found the service to be above average , as for the food it was average i had the oyster po boy wife had fish n chips boys had fish n chip's and clam chowder. The view was great olympic mtns. And puget sound. I loved everything but the food in my opinion was overpriced for the quality.

We needed a place to eat on our way to the Aquarium and the places we passed were not open early enough. We settle on Fisherman's restaurant because of the location and the fact that it was open. We really regretted it! The server took a long time to bring the food and avoided checking to see if our meal was okay. He didn't even bring the condiments with the meal until I had to ask a second time. There was almost no one in the restaurant so we were frustrated about the service. My daughter's fish and chips were not up to standard considering it is a fish restaurant. My salmon BLT sandwich was the terrible! It consisted of the very tail end of a piece of previously frozen fish--the part most people would have thrown out. It was so disgusting that I ate the sandwich as a BLT. The tomato was pathetic and the sour dough bread was a huge disappointment--two very thin slices. Not what you would expect at a restaurant that says it bakes it's own bread! I mentioned the problem to the server and the front desk before we left and they just shrugged their shoulders--no apology or mention of talking to the chef. Eat somewhere else if you are going to the Seattle Aquarium. Fisherman's restaurant is way over-priced and the service slow!

Food was great, wait staff was efficient and very polite. Drinks strong as fu$&!!! Had the baked Alaskan Cod, was outta this world, Fish and Chips looked great too. Highly recommend!!

We chose this restaurant because of outdoor seating on a gorgeous day close to the water. It was pure pleasure to watch boats and ships sail by as we ate dinner. Part of the food was excellent and a few items poor. Service was average. I'm glad to have tried this restaurant for the enjoyment of the view, but the quality of the food had too much of a range for me come again for the food.

Wonderful food with many tasty crab options. Seafood lovers won't be disappointed. Many other options available. Chowder was excellent

We were looking for a seafood restaurant following our trip on Argosy Cruises. This place was located in the same area so we thought we would give it a try. We ate outside and it was delightful. The server was Alson and he was super. Our food was delicious and served with great eye appeal and in a timely manner. We would return when in the area.

Went in for lunch. One in our party has a shellfish allergy. Since we live on the Gulf Coast where most restaurants serve shellfish we never have a problem because fish, French fries, chips, etc are always fried in a separate fryer for this very reason. To our surprise the only thing the waiter said she could have was a Caesar salad???? NOT EVEN A HAMBURGER since it is cooked on same grill as shrimp and crab. So cooking in a separate pan or skillet is not possible?? No! We got up and left. I would never recommend this place.

Caters for large crowds, with inside and outside dining, along with upstairs. The evening we went, we sat outside. No patrons inside or upstairs. We waited 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken, 15 minutes for delivery of 2 standard wines. The meal, equally as long for both the order and delivery. Our waiter was very polite and apologised for the slow delivery. We counted 12 staff that we could see to wait on 36 people.....

We were looking for a good place to have seafood. My husband and I both wanted to try the crab cakes so we split an order...they were ok. We also split an order of the the Dungeness crab mac and cheese. It was really good and a good size portion. We both ordered our own clam chowder in a bread bowl...it was amazing! I had never had clam chowder and was hesitant because I was worried it would be fishy. It was so good and creamy. A very good experience. The service was a bit slow and the prices are high but I think comparable to most seafood restaurants.

The spot is on the pier. we sat outside with views of the water and the giant wheel, The waiter was excellent and attentive but I found the prices for lunch were a little high. A salmon BLT and a Cesar salad with smoked salmon and seasonal veg...cost $54 dollars US add on tax of $5.67 US. and THEN this restaurant IMPOSES a 3% Surcharge!!!!The staff could not tell us what the surcharge was for.I felt nickel and dime at this restaurant.

I don’t know why this restaurant gets only 3-1/2 stars. My fresh caught trout was cooked to perfection and extremely well prepared. The wild rice pilaf with mushrooms was the best I have ever had. The service was friendly and prompt. If you’re coming for a hamburger, which my husband had (not a fan of seafood), then you might want to find another place as he said it was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. But for seafood lovers, look no further.

Seems like we got there when they were opening for lunch as there were not many people. Service was slow but staff was friendly. My sons cheese pizza did not come out until the rest of us were done eating. They did give him a free cup of chowder and the pizza was free, but was not sure what happened.

We had dinner here on a Saturday a little after 6pm, were able to get in with no wait. We got a great seat overlooking the water and were quite pleased. We ordered the crab dip appetizer, and it was phenomenal. I ordered the ling cod and my boyfriend got the halibut fish & chips. The fish & chips were good, but my food was literally cold (not even luke warm) and we had to send it back. They brought me another plate and it was good, but not great. Our waitress was good, but while we were eating we heard a man at a nearby table comment to his waitress, "We thought you had died, we were getting ready to go to your funeral!" She responded, I'm just trying to help everyone. We overheard a woman at another day to her child, "Don't eat that; it's not done." Overall, the location is great but the food is mediocre.

We just walk in without any reservation and get a good place at the outside patio with a great view on the harbor. The staff was great and welcome, they explained the dishes we were unsure and made the order quick and right in time. The food was great - we have ordered a Fisherman's feast style dinner for 4 people and it was tasty and in right size, however, it seems to be a little bit pricey but we did not compared with other places nearby.

I had a long layover at the airport and took the train to do some sightseeing. I stopped here for lunch. I sat outside and the view was great, the food not so much. It wasn’t bad, just mediocre. I had the halibut taco, it would have been fine but they put some BBQ sauce on it - who puts BBQ sauce on a taco? Chips were greasy. I’d recommend a hard pass on this restaurant - unless you are just here for the view.

Went for a birthday dinner. Staff was great. Food was less than mediocre, seemed like the chef was afraid to use spices and food was just dull. For the cost, street food would have been better.

Delicious shrimp Mac ‘n cheese and chowder fries! Outside seating with great views of the harbor. Draft beer is nice and cold. Perfect ending to a day of touring and a harbor cruise.

We stopped here and had some drinks and clam chowder. The chowder was very good. I had two margaritas which were tasty but not quite strong enough. Overall it was a good experience. Friendly waitstaff, fresh bread, and a beautiful location with a view of the water. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating.

Boyfriend and I decided to walk downtown looking for brunch but we ended at Fishermans for lunch. The seafood tower is a bit pricey for the portion but it was good. You get one crab, some oysters, mussels, prawns and scallop. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was a bit slow but we could see that they were trying their best. Thank you Allison for your friendliness in serving us. 9/10

Can't say enough great things of this restaurant. The food was so fresh. Highly recommend the Halibut Ceviche for a starter. My Fiancée and I went here on our last day in Seattle and the food was amazing. A must eat place

We were looking for a good seafood place to eat and this one wasn’t as expensive as some of the other restaurants on the pier. Their kids menu had a great variety and we were able to find something for our picky eaters. Buttered noodles, fish and chips, hamburgers, fish tacos and a bread bowl of clam chowder were ordered and devoured by everyone. I was disappointed that I couldn’t substitute flour tortillas for the corn tortillas and was told I couldn’t even switch the type of sauce that came on my tacos. I don’t like pineapple salsa and would’ve preferred the other topping that came on the other fish taco which was lime flavored. Overall it was good food and we would go again.

Got off the plane went to the harbor picked out the best-looking restaurant which turns out has the best looking food and great views, was welcomed with a big smile by Cassidy the recommended 10 barrels as a beer IPA and the clam chowder was to kill for thank you Cassidy it was a long flight

The Mussels here are quite different being served in a broth that was boiled with celery & onions - lacking a lot of the flavor. The bread and butter is delicious, the chowders in bread bowls are also really good. Strong cocktails and good appetizers, this is a family friendly restaurant on the water near the aquarium and ferris wheel. Tip: It's touristy, but the views are worth it!

Plenty of food a little pricy. For 3 lunches and no alcohol over $100. Bread that came with salads were extremely tough on outside. Hard to chew or break apart. Very crowded, no place to wait upstairs for your name to be called.

Walking through Seattle, we came to this restaurant and decided to eat crabs and place with crabs, which we recommend. The prices were fine, staff friendly, the atmosphere calm and pleasant. I do not know what other restaurants in Seattle have, but this proved to be good.

After we had finished on the Wheel we stayed at the Wharf for dinner. The wait staff were fabulous and recommended Steelhead fish which I had never eaten. It was beautiful and as I need gluten free food this was perfect.

The Fishermans Restaurant and Bar is a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink. The outdoor patio is very big with a nice view of the Big Wheel and the ocean. In my never ending search for the best Clams and Mussels I had to try this place. Although the Mussels were very big the flavor just wasn't there. Both were nicely presented but they came out in water, not the yummy broth I was hoping for. They did have a very yummy Pear Cider by Finn River. I will try them again for something else next time.

My family and I went to this restaurant starving. We had to wait twenty minutes in line and another twenty minuets for our food to come. We all ordered fish and chips, but when it came, the fish was so dry! None of the wait was worth it.

Food was great and fresh. Service was lacking, unfortunate for the price of the food. Bread was cold when brought to our table.

The food was wonderful, the service great. The price was a little high, but not unreasonable. We sat outside and watched the boats come and go, it was a very nice atmosphere. I would recommend it to a friend.

Our family of six had reached past it feeding time by the time we made it to the Fishermans. We started with the crab dip which was free with the the Ferris wheel ticket purchase. The dip was so good, I would have paid for it. Besides the dip the other hit was the prawns. They were big and had good flavor. But what made our meal was our waiter Tobin. Her was super friendly and didn't mind chatting with us about the local Seattle scene. He was attentive and a joy to have as a waiter.

The menu looked good, but pricey. Sat down at the inside/Outside section and sat for fifteen minutes while waiter after waiter walked by. Even asked a server for a waiter and she stated it was her first day and left. Multiple people ahead of us sitting outside were served. We walked right out. Terrible service, especially for the insane prices. Found somewhere else and were waited on right away. There are plenty of other options. Don’t waste your time or money.

My parents used to take me to the pier to play games at the arcade and then we'd have lunch at Fisherman's. That was about 17 years ago and it's still a great place to go. The food is still top notch as is the service. I love the great array of seafood options and their chowder is wonderful. I always enjoy an opportunity to come here for a meal.

Having enjoyed the Ferris wheel, and seen the nice deck and tables below us we thought this would be as good a place to have lunch as any. I love seafood chowders and if I see them anywhere on the menu around the world I am always tempted. They often vary, depending on the fish that is around but in nearly all cases they are a good choice. Not so here: we ordered both a clam and a seafood chowder and the latter showed some evidence of (tough tasting) clams with a slightly smokey (I hope) flavour. But the latter invoked no sea, nor food, nor chowder! No discernible pieces of fish, as if the ship's propeller had minced the catch before it was landed. This goo was rounded off with a vinegary afterburn that stayed with us all the way to Bellevue where I begged my son to pour us a stiff whisky to get rid of that culinary desaster. It is a disgrace to be offered such food at the very point where fish and fruits de mer are so plentiful.

My husband & I were staying nearby, it was labor day, so I was concerned all the restaurants would be very busy. No waiting here though, very large space & the weather wasn't great( I think that kept most of people home). The service was excellent! I had the Pacific Crab boil( only $49!most other places were double that), and my husband had the Bairdi crab plate. All the crab was great! We had never had Bairdi before. the sides on my husbands plate were just Ok. But Hey the crab was really the reason we were there. Nice ambiance & good views

Finally, a place where they aren't frying everything. I stopped in for a drink while my wife rode the Seattle Wheel. We stayed for dinner and we're so glad we did. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and visiting with Shaun, the bartender, so much so that we made sure to stay in his section for dinner service. The grilled halibut was first of the season. It was cooked to perfection; moist and flakey. In a town where everything is so dang expensive, this was the first time we didn't feel like we paid too much. We don't mind paying for a good dinner. We may actually have to go back here before we leave town.

The food taste was not good, actually the taste did not meet the expectation at all. It almost seemed like this was just someone who put the salmon on the grill and lots of red spice, but no truly preparation. My mouth was full of spices. The view was ok, but I could have had the view from right outside with a hotdog. I would definitely not recommend it.

I went for lunch by myself while in town for a conference. I was SO excited for some crab- I was not disappointed! I got the half Dungeness lunch- plenty for portion size and it tasted wonderful. The clam chowder was only OK. I was seated without a wait, which was nice. The service was NOT great- everyone seemed so rushed but somehow I felt neglected; I sat at my table a good 5-10 minutes before anyone came to get my drink order.

Located on the pier next to the Great Wheel. Great view of the Sound. Service was friendly, quick on the initial order, a bit slow after that. Food was good, not what I would call great. Everyone like their meal, drinks good too.

We were pleasantly surprised with our experience. The staff really made it a special meal and helped us celebrate our anniversary!

OMG the crab feast was AMAZING. Four course dinner for two has plenty of food to feed us and more. Everything was plentiful and delicious. The service was top notch also. This is a Seattle must for seafood lovers.

Fish and Chips ✅ Good Beer ✅ Beautifull Sunsets ✅ Great place to lay back, chill and enjoy with friends

We enjoyed our meals at this restaurant. Nice outside seating overlooking the harbor, great drink menu and wonderful food. The prices were average - not too expensive, but not inexpensive either. The service was also very good.

To a little trip to Seattle to use up some vacation. We stayed up at Southcenter at the Hilton Home21. Could location and centrally located. One day we drove into Downtown Seattle and went to Pikes market. A smart phone is good to have to give you step by step directions. We parked in the parking garage at the end of Pike's Market. $21 to park for 4 hours. The market is always fun to walk through and my wife bought some jewerly from a local artist. After the market we drove down to waterfront and had an early dinner at Fishefman Restaurant. My wife had shrimp and I had a Salmon Burger and good Alaskan IPA. Food was good, service was excellent and we set by the window and watched everyone ride the big ferris wheel.

If you go on the Great Wheel, they will give you a coupon for this restaurant. The food was quite tasty and the staff was very attentive. You will definitely enjoy your meal.

Nice sunny patio. Unfriendly service. The sourdough buns must have been out of a monthly display somewhere. So tough you couldn't chew them and could hardly tear them. Needless to say we didn't order any food. My first black currant Finn River cider was fantastic but couldn't redeem this review.

Food was good, but pricey, seating was a little cramped. Wanted to sit outside but patio seating was only for drinks ONLY customers...at 1p on a Friday. Waitress was awesome and made recommendations as to where to go next!

I've traveled the globe and I've never found food to compare. The filet mignon and King crab is heaven on a plate. As is the salmon and butternut squash. Ask for michelle, a Soft spoken and wonderful waitress. Don't forget to ride the Great seattle Wheel and Wings over Washington after you dine!

This place doesn’t live up to the hype. The wait staff is horrible and seem uninterested in the guests. Most were busy socializing with coworkers. Food was so oso nothing to brag about.

Came here for lunch after visiting the Great Wheel. The food was decent and the staff were all very good. Total tourist spot but it was quite convenient and was a good experience. Seafood all seemed fresh. Definitely have to commend the staff here though. Very attentive and personable.

We live in Florida and went to Seattle a few days early before our alaskan cruise. This restaurant was recommended to us by neighbors that had been there several times. It's right next to the Seattle wheel, a huge ferris wheel with beautiful views of Seattle and the sound. After the wheel ride we decided to have lunch there. Our server was very pleasant and cheerful and attentive. We had beautiful harbor views and the food was fantastic. I had the smoked fish plate (smoked in house) Three different types of smoked fished and terrific roasted veggies. It was delicious and so much that I couldn't eat it all. I also had a fish chowder that had wonderful taste and nice size chunks of fish. My daughter had the salmon burger which was huge and delicious as well. Highly recommend this restaurant. It does get very busy so call ahead.

... and into this nautical bar. We had appetisers and the drink of the day special, plus I had to have steamer clams. Slow day from a tourist standpoint - quite blustery out - but we had great clothes, and saw everything with no lines. Prices a bit high for me - but it is the heart of tourism, so...

After a day of touring downtown Seattle, we headed to the wharf for an early dinner- The Fishermans Restaurant our destination. WIth the height of tourist season, there was a line waiting for an open table so we opted to eat in the bar area, the same menu as the restaurant. The service was excellent and within minutes we were sipping a cold beer. To start we had the crab dip appetizer, which was outstanding. I highly recommend it. Our main entree was fish and chips. Two nicely battered pieces of fish with an ample supply of crunchy fries. An excellent choice. Being right next to Seattle's great wheel we not only had a great view of the water we watched as people got off that gigantic ferris wheel. It is a little pricey, in my opinion, but when on vacation we do splurge occasionally. We both agreed that it is a restaurant we would eat at again.

Waitstaff, Maisia, was great. Pasta Primavera was delicious, served with both shrimp and halibut in a pesto sauce, Halibut fish and chips was crisped just right on the edge of being over done. Really enjoyed the house red blend. Definitely worth a visit.

We had an amazing lunch at this restaurant on July 14, 2019. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel. We ate outside and enjoyed the view. The food was great. No wait. Very near the Pike Market.

Stopped in and had a great meal and awesome sunset view. Perfect on a clear summer night. Our waiter was excellent as was the salmon and crab.

Really great seafood and drinks! The view is amazing, whether you are inside or outside. Great place to stop for drinks after walking around.

We had an excellent meal here. The staff was kind and courteous and we LOVED our food. We started with a bowl of their clam chowder. This was the third chowder we’ve had in the city after being here only 24 hours, and it is our fav. My husband ordered the Italian Mussels and I ordered a Crab Boil. If you even “sorta” like mussels, you must order this dish! The seasoned sourdough bread in the center is worth every bite. The boil was great and had plenty of meat to share between he and I. We are super full and satisfied!

Waiter named Brian should find another career. We’re locals w/visitor hoping for nice evening with visiting family. Shameful. Ordered appetizers. Learned they were not available when I returned from restroom to my cold entree on table. Brian never came back to table to offer more drinks (which we would have purchased) or another appetizer option. No excuse. When asked about poor service I was told he gave an ice tea refill to one party member. Wish he offered to sell other dinner party members a second beer. Don’t want to hear they were crowded. Manager knows otherwise.

It was cold and wet that night so we chose this place as we could get right in. Food was good service was fine and the view was fantastic. We ate lightly and they were very accomodating in every aspect

If you’re looking for some delicious seafood and great views right on the water, you have to go here! You will get your authentic Pacific Northwest seafood that will amaze you. It was really hard to pick what to get because everything sounded amazing. From deviled eggs, crab cakes, sriracha shrimp, crab & shrimp louie, seared ahi, tacos, fish and chips...how do you decide? The answer? You don’t, your waiter picks for you! We ended up getting clam chowder (in a bread bowl this time) and whole dungeness crab which were both so fresh! I’d highly recommend this place.

Stopped for a few short hours in Seattle and made our way down to the pier. We ate here upstairs at the bar, great service from the bartender. Delicious seafood chowder in a bread bowl. The patio was busy, but we snuck out for a few photos. Friendly staff and pretty views.

We were hoping to have some decent seafood at The Fisherman's Restaurant, to sit down, relax and have a god meal. Upon arrival, we were asked if we were going to have appetizers or entrees. Does it matter?! We were seated and the water/bus boy was very nice and sociable. Our waiter greeted us, served our drinks and the sourdough bread, which was extremely tough. No flavor and slightly stale. My daughter and I both ordered a bucket of clams. BIG MISTAKE. I don't think they purged the sand out them very well because we both chewed on a TON of sandy clams. In addition, the broth was unfavorable and we ended up not eating over half of our food. Very disappointing, and we both felt a little I'll afterwards. Our server did the right thing and took them off of our bill, but needless to say, we will never be back.
Best King Crab In the US
We ate King Crab in multiple restaurants all up the west coast of US and Canada and this place was by far the best we have had. Mid priced and delicious. Yes, it was a little dated but the service was great and the crab and mash potatoes the best I have ever eaten even at 5* restaurants As a tourist to Seattle looking to experience the local seafood, I would highly recommend this restaurant over the others we ate at
