Weak Drinks filled with Ice.

By Kristian K |

Atmosphere is amazing, think adult Tiki Room with an amazing attention to detail. Food quality is incredibly high, yes when they say it’s spicy it is. Did 2 rounds of the coconut shrimp. Drinks, across the board are incredibly weak. Happy hour and regular tropical drinks come packed with 95% ice with few juices and less alcohol. Asked for 2 regular bar drinks from staff, and the bartender seemed to struggle to make them, both were very weak in flavor and alcohol. My wife is a light weight and rarely drinks, she barely got a buzz after three tropical drinks. Come for the theme, go elsewhere for quality drinks. Golden Tiki, would love to see you respond on your strategy to up the drink game. Fellow customers at the bar had the same weak drink issue we did.

1st time at the Golden Tiki

By ISLANDGIRL3013 |

We were in Chinatown and saw the sign stopped in for a few drinks sat at the bar was a fun theme and lounge singer belting out tunes very fun atmosphere, we would recommend! The painkiller drink was great!

Good Atmosphere

By frank c |

This was a Tiki bar with a pretty good atmosphere. It was dark and tropical. The appertisers were very good and you did not get short changed on the drinks. It was however off the strip but a short cab ride will get you there. Nice to visit one time.

The Opulence of this Place is Delicious

By DS9MW |

Very interesting spot, not the best if you're missing your fill of Disney's Tiki Room, BUT this is a very enjoyable filler until your next visit to the park. From the decor to the talking urinals, to the wonderful concoctions, to the "shelfie" photo op area, to the Museum of the Strange, to the presentation and level of care in the making of the drinks, this place is truly something to experience! Adam rocks! Very engaging, shows a true interest in where people are visiting from and takes the time to educate you on the cocktail you've ordered and how long some of the bar tenders have been perfecting their craft which not only explains but validates the level of care and the presentation! Would have given a 5-star review, however, two of the servers were just being obnoxiously rude and snooty. It amazes me those who work in hospitality that are rude to patrons. Aside from these two individuals, everyone else was stellar!

Kingdom of Kitsch

By Teapot.Texan |

Asia, our waitress, is destined for comedy! Great kitschy place. Staff members wear great costumes and make delicious drinks. Would recommend reservations as they are a small venue. You have to check out the facilities; we peeked in the men’s room because the ladies’ was so entertaining! Will be back!

A must to go to in Las Vegas. Great place to visit and drink.

By Ms M |

We loved the decore and the staff there. They were very friendly and happy. They made us special drinks that we wanted with no problem and were delicious. Parking can be challenging but well worth the visit. Make sure you check out the shrinking heads they have on display. Very different but I don't think they are real. ha ha

Gaudy and wonderful!

By Huaso Bruto |

A fun destination off the Strip. We just happened to come across it during a visit to Chinatown. It’s in a strip mall but it’s not easily overlooked. Inside is another world. It’s like being in the Tiki Room at Disneyland—but with drinking, cussing, and phallic symbols. You have to see what I mean. Our drinks were very good. I had a banana concoction that was quite delicious. Food is served but we had already eaten—at a great ramen joint s few doors down. We highly recommend the Golden Tiki. It’s gaudy and wonderful.

Golden Tiki - Vegas

By natesha k |

Super tasty drinks! We popped by after lunch at Shoku Ramen. Stood at the bar. Bartenders put on a bit of a show. Drinks are pricey but delicious, lots of choices - something for everyone. Even fancy Mocktails. LOVED the atmosphere. Don’t forget to go in the bathrooms…haha

You won’t regret it

Amazing cocktails and great barman, wonderfully unique and cheeky little tiki bar. Well worth the visit to Chinatown in Las Vegas

Great Atmosphere, Mediocre Drinks

By dcskustoms |

Visited The Golden Tiki for the first time earlier this week, Wednesday, 80's night to be exact. The bar was fun, entertaining and decorated awesome! Loved the whole place. Our initial bartender made it fun and enjoyable, as well the restrooms made it flat out hilarious, but that's drinks made it a bit of a joke. Tiki drinks typically are fruity, Rum heavy and can be very potent.. Except at Golden... Seriously.. 4 drinks in and ZERO buzz going. I'm a regular at other places and know what a proper cocktail should consist of. Golden misses the mark across the board. Started with a Painkiller, was extremely weak. Next up, dole whip float and while the Rum was noticeable being a straight shot, that's all it was: 1 shot. From there, a Black Bettie, which sounded good, but again, no kick of any sort. And to finish off my evening, a Banana Batida... Which has Cachaca and Banana Liquer for the alcohol end and still zero. Either their booze is watered down, bottom tier quality ot they pinch quantities in the drinks I'm not sure, but they wouldn't give a buzz to a bee. The decor however was fun, entertaining and well done! Shrunken celebrity heads all over, which were really cool, the entrance stone work and theme of Pirates Of The Caribbean playing, to the animatronic parrots like Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room has, black velvet paintings and a firework starlight ceiling, it was well done! And pay attention to the birds when they speak, these aren't the G Rated Disney birds lol... Take a stroll to the pirate room in the back, which was also very cool, and snag a pic in the massive clam! You won't leave disappointed in the theme, but you will in drink quality. Hit up Frankie's for a complete 180°... I'll go again with friends who've never gone, but I certainly wouldn't make it a regular spot. The 80's stuff was enjoyable though..

Horrible Customer Service

By sarahberry |

I convinced my party to go off the strip as it was on my bucket list to visit the Golden Tiki after a video I saw on YouTube. Upon arrival we (party of 2) were asked if we had a reservation and if not, we could find a place at the bar. The tables were practically empty, so I asked the hostess if I could go ahead and make one. She said I would need to make it online and then rudely walked off as if I was a bother. So we made our way to the bar and waited about 10 mins without even being acknowledged. I walked back up to the hostess as I wasn't getting wifi to connect, and asked if she could support with the reservation and she rolled her eyes and said I'd need to go online. As a tourist city I'd except better customer service. After being ignored for 15 minutes we decided to leave. Completely killed the vibe of the night. Felt like an outsider who was not welcome in this establishment. BIG disappointment.

Dole Whip!!!!

By Deb W |

Dole Whip!!!! The charm of this place is off the chart. I felt like I was on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. But a more adult version. We just stopped in for the Dole Whip. It looked like a very awesome bar to hang out. They are currently taking reservations due to COVID. By all means go out of your way to enjoy this place.

This place is great!

By Nikolai N |

This place was the highlight of our trip. Obviously the decor is awesome (the bathroom is full of interesting things to look at lol) but our bartenders were super nice and the drinks were GREAT. We also got chips & dip and they were good also. Even the lady at the entrance checking ID was super friendly. Great place, worth the drive off the strip!

A little overrated, but it’ll get the job done

By Carlos G |

The reservation system looks like it needs improvement. Bar and tables were half empty but host wouldn’t let us in unless we had one. The drinks are okay, nothing that’ll amaze you. Our waitress was the best part as she was really friendly and helpful. Overall it kinda feels like a tourist trap.

Happy hour

By racinreggie |

This is a cool place. Visited with friends. Our waitress was great. Drinks were awesome!! Walk around and look at all the neat things through our this bar.

Way Too Many “Reserved” Tables

By Brent F |

I absolutely love this tiki bar. The vibe, the drinks, the atmosphere are all so much fun. I’ve been here several times. But I give it 3 stars because they just have way too many “reserved” tables with nobody sitting there. It was extremely frustrating that at 4pm in the afternoon we were forced to stand at the bar, yet could see several open tables that they wouldn’t let us sit at. We would’ve gladly stayed longer and bought more drinks, but ended up leaving and going elsewhere. You lost business—we were there, in person, willing to spend money. But since we couldn’t find a place to sit we went to a casino bar that was welcoming and hospitable.

Great place

By Timbo011 |

Had a great few hours at this quirky bar. All staff were really helpful. Drinks good and some revealing items of decoration particularly in the ladies toilets

Ridiculous and Rude.

By Hayley H |

Turned up to have a meal here only to be asked off a man at door do we have ID which is absurd that you need ID to get a meal . He was rude obviously used it as an excuse for us not to get in . Wouldn't recommend this place at all .

Great atmosphere

By Cindy |

Fun place for happy hour. Great prices, service. Take the time to look at the decor, so eclectic and fun!!!!! Will make sure to visit every time I'm in Vegas

Great tiki bar!

By 917juliaw |

We always go to the Golden Tiki when we're in Vegas. The cocktails are great and the service is always friendly. We were there for live jazz Thursday night. A nice bonus. If you like the Tiki Room, you'll enjoy this place and its decor.

Tiki Tacky

By CNB89144 |

What a fun place to spend an evening. First of all, the service was amazing, from the hostesses at the front, to our servers and the management staff. I recommend reservations for sure. That way you are guaranteed a 2 hour seat, otherwise it is bar service. It would take you hours to tour the bar and see all the displays, including the extensive shrunken head displays and the museum of the bizarre. The drink list was fun, includes mocktails, island drinks, flaming drinks and beers. They currently are serving a limited menu of just appetizers so plan accordingly. The band was great, the guitarist would walk around the patrons playing. They gave a great vibe to the place without being too loud to prohibit conversation. If you want a fun night that makes you feel you are thousands of miles from Las Vegas, this is your destination.

Fun, parking is eh

By Kiana Q |

So fun with friends if you're in the area and want to extend the night a bit longer. It is very dark there, but the music and vibes are very fun. Drinks are good and it wasn't too hard to get through to the bartenders. The parking lot is pretty busy though so prepare to drive around.

So much fun we went back

By GatorRob77 |

Visited this tiki bar twice on our trip to Vegas! The drinks were awesome, especially the painkiller and the service was quick and friendly! Great atmosphere with a Vegas twist! Looking forward to many more trips back to this tiki bar!

not so golden

By Leona Helmsley |

and yeah, its a tiki bar - fake freaky tiki - not legit tiki - i dont know, just didn't like it - layout was strange - zero spot to get a drink - not a friendly place to drink - lots of tables - where of course you need reservations - nice enough once inside - not inviting yeah, thats the word - def not a place i would go back - one of those places that no matter where you stand - or sit - you in someone's way - drinks ok - not a dive bar - just not good...

Expand your horizons!

By Brian B |

When you’re in Las Vegas and have done all the usual, the Strip, downtown, and the bars all close around 3am, then head for Chinatown and the Golden Tiki. Open 24 hours. Happy Hour 4-7pm AND 3-6am. Just Awesome. Tiki bar on steroids.

Great bartenders! Fun decor!

By DAC |

The bar tender Sheena made us feel welcome and took great care of us. The drinks very tasty and some unique. The dole shots incredible. Loved the unique decor and will be back for sure. Thanks for a great time!

Happy hour

By Dean B |

Cool bar in Vegas. The "happy hour" was good value for drinks & food. We liked trying lots of different cocktails & food. The cocktails were lovely but the food wasn't that good but that's just our taste. Very dark inside & the decor was amazing. Overall a great experience.

Golden Tiki for the Win!

By EclecticE |

We're touring Las Vegas Tiki bars and this Golden Tiki is the winner so far. Brandon took excellent care of us (as did all the staff). Flight of tiki drinks was a great way to sample the opportunities. Best Mai Tai I've had in a long time and the Painkiller was great too. Decor is perfect, including lighting, thunder shows, and a variety of seating options. We chose the bar so we could see the action up close. No smoking, clean, and wimsical. Be sure to keep your head on your shoulders. Our light snacks were great. The Dolewhip with dark rum made for a great shared dessert.

Oddities Lover

By BeachSunFun1 |

This bar has been on my list for a while now, I am Ghost Adventures fan and loved that episode. Make a reservation online for seating, otherwise you will stand there. Oddities are really what I wanted to see so that was neat. I’m not a rum drinker so maybe just drinking beer was a buzzkill for me but I don’t know that I would go back. It’s in a strip mall and dark, dingy and musty smelling. Our bar tender was very helpful. Wallpaper and door handles in the bathroom are a must see.

Best Bar in Vegas hands down!

By Joe T |

Don’t go anywhere else . Trust me . This is the most amazing bar in Vegas if not the World. Best cocktails I’ve ever had . Way better cocktails than that dive bar tiki Franks across town. Look in the port holes. Gaze upon the museum of phalluses in the women’s restroom . The shrunken head collection is awesome. The animatronic birds are a hoot. If you’re uptight or easily offended don’t come here. Definitely get reservations it sells out fast. There’s also extra partying behind the bar on busy nights . Great staff too!

Great Change of pace.

By rapoza57 |

Great Change of pace from the strip. Went for drinks and appetizers during Happy Hour. A very eclectic place with lots to see. Good food, great drinks and a very interesting atmosphere.

Still a Vegas Must for Tiki-Files!

By Chris H |

I make it a point to stop here every time I’m in Vegas—it’s a staple for any Tiki enthusiast. While they’ve recently updated the menu and sadly removed the fried rice, there’s still a great selection of dishes to enjoy. The real stars of the show, though, are the drinks and the bartenders. If you can snag a seat at the bar, do it—it’s the best way to soak in the atmosphere and watch the magic happen. Pro tip: Make a reservation. They do accept walk-ins, but the wait outside can be longer than you'd like. Also, if you're standing at the bar, you won’t be allowed to grab empty chairs from nearby tables—just something to keep in mind. Even a trip to the restroom (at least the men's room) is part of the adventure. Take a stroll, snap a photo in the clam shell, and check out the quirky collection of shrunken heads. As far as Tiki bars go, this one is lively. If you're looking for a quiet, dimly lit escape—well, it's definitely dark, but not quiet. They even feature live music from time to time, which adds to the energy. All in all, this place remains one of my favorites and a must-visit every time I’m in Vegas!

Cool Little Spot with an excellent Happy Hour ...

By Tia P |

OK wow. This place is a trip. The strip mall location felt a bit sketch, but once inside the place was above and beyond Tiki. The decor is crazy in a fun way. We showed up at 4pm on Saturday for happy hour. There was a decent selection of happy hour offerings and the prices were excellent. The drinks were not strong, but that's okay with me because drinking in Vegas seems to turn into a marathon. We tried three drinks (good thing they aren't strong haha): The Mai Thai, Dole Whip with dark rum and Hemingway's Ruin. All were absolutely delish. My only knock on the place ... ALL the tables were reserved. Most sat empty the entire time we were there. To be at the bar you have to gamble. I sat at the bar and my husband stood next to me because there were NO other seats. We played Kino on the machine ... $5 lasted us 90+ minutes. I would recommend making a reservation way ahead of time if you want to sit at a table. Be sure to check out the handles on the bathroom stalls, hahaha.

Tiki Bar connoisseur says YES!

By tomaszmajewski |

Wonderful tiki bar with amazing decor and atmosphere. Beautifully crafted boat drinks by skilled bartenders. Well-explained recipes on the menu and by the staff. The music is excellent - both piped in and live. Small food menu of appetizers, but very tasty. Fully recommend a visit!!!

Best afternoon ever...

We live in town but heard what a great experience this was. It did not disappoint. Great service, great atmosphere and great drinks. So much fun. I will definitely be going back!!!!

THEFT

By Journey48038578341 |

Just a little review for everyone who might be interested in visiting the Golden Tiki. I had my debit card stolen here. I was given credit for the drinks (Which I have yet to receive) and then my card used at SOHO Sushi restaurant the very next day. You can not claim a lost card or that you gave it back to me when it is behind the bar, right in front of where I am sitting. You can not claim you accidentally gave it to someone else, unless they just want to leave their card there in place of it. You might want to look at your employees. You also might want to consider having a little more concern about the fact that it is missing and have a manager come speak to me directly without me having to request one.

Don't let the first impression of the outside fool you, this place is amazing.

By Chewywashere |

Took my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday. Was there for happy hour. Food was FAST and tasty. Drinks were amazing. Service was great. Dino's crooning was fun. Atmosphere was awesome. This will be a must do for us when we're in town in the future.

Funky fun bar

By KazKat |

Great cocktails. Also have a cocktail happy hour 4-7pm which is great value. Themed fun place, somewhere different. Great staff too.

Such a fun experience!

By Kayla S |

I loved every minute of me time here! From the decor (especially the bathroom, to the drinks, to the BEST tater tots I’ve ever had! We met the owner, Brandon, who was so kind and welcoming. I will definitely be back for my next trip to Vegas. This was a great first stop on my bachelorette weekend!

Tiki time in Vegas.

By John |

Great atmosphere and amazing cocktails. Food was solid and our server was attentive. We went at Happy Hour and took advantage of the prices. Two hour limit on tables, which was more than enough time to enjoy ourselves and not feel rushed. Definitely make reservations!

What a great place! fun times to be had!

By Vegas On A Dime |

We went as a group of friends in March during Happy Hour. We booked a reservation in advance and had to put down our credit card information. There was a statement saying that if we didn't cancel with enough notice, they might charge you $10 per person. Don't let that deter you, we had an amazing time. I had no idea what to expect, but wow what fun! There is so much going on and some surprises too, so don't forget your camera (and bring it to the washroom with you lol) The drinks are very reasonable in price during happy hour. We tried a few of the cocktails and some of the beers. Everything was well done! No complaints. We also ordered some food items off the menu -- ours was taking awhile and then the waitress approached us and there must have been some error. Without even asking they comped the food off the bill. That was a nice surprise and appreciated. We would 100% come back here!!

Not Your Father’s Tiki Bar

By HawaiiKaiGail |

This tiki bar is first class. Opened about 4 years ago, it’s a quick drive from The Strip. Free parking. The decor is the best I have seen in any tiki bar. Everything is placed where it is for a reason. Beautiful swag lamps, charming booths with shrunken heads, a huge clamshell to take a selfie in, etc. My husband and I are LV locals and we did a pub crawl and this was our first stop. I had a Chinatown Sling that was heavenly. Small bites available on their menu. The bartender Jason was very nice and so helpful. Professional service, for sure. A mix of visitors and locals here. Very clean, and the restrooms are decorated in a “unique” way. We really enjoyed our visit and I know we will be back. All good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Proud to call Las Vegas HOME.

Loved this place!!!!!k

By methree17 |

Went with a couple of friends for drinks... ended up with one big bowl—the Lime in the Coconut. Delicious!!! Also got veggie spring rolls and crab Rangoon. Everything about this place is themed and the ladies bathroom is a hoot... penis door handles, full museum display of penises and ‘70s Playboy inspired wallpaper. The bar, the lamps, the decor was like walking in a tiki dream. Loved it!!! The apps were great. Don’t think i could ever tire of this spot!

Great Tiki bar with perfect decor

By VeekeeRox |

We visited Golden Tiki around 7:45 pm on a Wednesday. I’d describe this timing as ideal. We had a reservation at 8, but had no issue going in early. It was practically empty at this time. We were seated in a back room full of cool shrunken heads. We got four drinks, all fantastic and one on fire. We got sweet potato fries as well. We had a ton of fun. The DJ started thumping about 8, and we left close to 9. The place was standing room only by this point, extremely crowded. The bathrooms had fantastic “dirty” decor. Naked boys and some girls everywhere in the ladies’ room Get a reservation, get an Uber and get there to Golden Tiki. Don’t let the strip mall location stop you. This tiki bar was well worth a visit. I go to one in nearly every city I go to, and this one will stay high on my list.

Exotic atmosphere with exceptional staff!

By C Basch |

We went to The Golden Tiki at happy hour and the atmosphere is AMAZING. The staff always seem happy and were very eager to serve us well. We ordered every happy hour appetizer on the menu and a few cocktails, and it only came out to around $72. Everything we ordered was real gourmet stuff. The "Sticky Fingers" glazed chicken strips and the "Lions Head" pork meatballs were the best but everything was exceptional anyway except the kettle chips with some exotic topping on them, everyone at the table had a taste of the chips then ignored it. Everything else was devoured. The signature drinks are a little expense past happy hour but hey, you get what you pay for and I guarantee you haven't had one like any of theirs yet, strong and delicious but not overly sweet. The menu has indicators of how strong each drink is too to accommodate lightweights and also people that want a little more "bang". I usually don't like sweet cocktails but these were very good. I want to come back again on my birthday. Everywhere you look there is something cool to see and I couldn't take enough pictures. Shrunken heads and fountains everywhere and there is a machete on the wall that is supposed to be an actual headhunters machete. There is a little room before you go in that has a startlingly loud welcome so brace a bit for that but that's easy to get over. Look closely at your table and there may be some interestingly "spicy" pictures that are pretty amusing. Everywhere I look everything was perfectly clean, I even swiped my finger across some remote surfaces for dust and got nothing. I was doing this because I couldn't fathom how they kept all those decorations clean, but evidently they do. Overall, this place is all around fantastic and I plan on coming back again. It's a place you MUST visit during your Vegas vacation! AAA+

Gotta come back when we can get served

By Brandon K |

We stopped in and apparently got there too late. We stood in line at the bar for quite a while and did not get served. You had to have reservations to have a table away from the bar. Funky atmosphere and great kitchy vibe. Yes, I did enjoy being insulted by talking skulls in the bathroom. I will come back again and get served next time with a reservation. At least I got to take it all in while we were there.

The Golden Tiki Restaurant in Las Vegas is definitely PourManApproved !!

By Mike |

I have long been a fan of the Golden Tiki. From the craft cocktails to the tasty morsels on the menu to the uber pleasant Bartender’s & servers, The Golden Tiki is one of my favourite haunts in all of Las Vegas. Their happy hour has always been one of the best in the Valley & now that they’ve gone non-smoking, it’s a total home run all the way !! Drop in & have Adam & Jason whip you up one of their World-class cocktails !

WORST RESTURANT IN VEGAS! Avoid these SCAM Artists!

By Moar D |

WORST RESTURANT / BAR I'VE EVER BEEN TO! "Overpriced" is an understatement. The business should be SHUT DOWN! You walk inside and it is PITCH BLACK. NO LIGHTS. Someone is going to get hurt. Staff is rude. Food is trash and WAAAAY too expensive. Hostess sat us in the "Pirate Room"? and had to WARN US it was EXTRA DARK back there. WTF? You KNOW that MANY people have complained about it if the hostess has to WARN CUSTOMERS COMING THROUGH THE DOOR that its too dark to have a meal there... AND THEN SITS CUSTOMERS THERE ANYWAYS! Scumbag scam tactics are common here. If you want to reserve a table they charge you BEFORE you arrive, to make sure they have your money and make it harder to leave early or get you money back. More SCAM tactics you can expect is that they'll demand you credit card BEFORE you order so they can hold the customer and their credit card hostage. Absolutely DISGUSTING "business". AVOID AT ALL COST! WORST Restaurant/Bar in Vegas. 0/10. Pathetic.

Not a great Tiki bar

By wick1979 |

Very cool atmosphere, very weak drinks full of cheap booze and cheap mixers. Most drinks are served with more ice than drink. 6 drinks for $110 and left as sober as we went in

Way too Many “Reserved” Tables

By Brent F |

Great tiki bar, I’ve been here probably five times over many years. The happy hour is a nice deal but otherwise drinks are pricey (and quite small). It’s a tourist trap though, so to be expected. My frustration is that there is never any seating at the bar, very limited space to stand, yet there are always numerous “reserved” tables with nobody at them. I noticed several that went unused the entire time I was there. Get rid of “reserved” seating like every other bar in the country, and offer it up as first-come, first-served. I might have ordered a second drink, but skipped it because of the limited seating on a busy Friday night. Also, no military discount here.

Just go!!!! Winner for best Tiki bar decor.

By wearegoingplaces |

Just go!!!! Probably need to make a reservation. This hands down the best Tiki decor I’ve ever seen. The talking parrots were in rehab when we visited so did not get to experience. The props here are SO good I felt like was at Disney experience!!! LOTS to look at. Make sure you visit: the back rooms- peak in the portholes The restroom (both of them) and don’t forget to take a gander at seamen falls. Truly a one of kind place!

Just go!

By Piedpiper7373 |

Just go ….. most fun bar, great staff, great atmosphere, excellent cocktails and service. Just such a novelty, go early as the queue was huge when we left. Bring ID ( those from the UK ) do check out ladies cubicle door handles! Great fun novel bar was top service.

Awesome Place.

By Mercguy50 |

Awesome Everything.. Don’t waste your time with Frankie’s just go here! Went here to try it out.. It was absolutely amazing Service, Drinks, and Food! Best tiki bar in Vegas hands down!

Highlight of my first time in Vegas

By chargus |

So we stayed at the Vdara, spent time at the Venetian, Mirage, Aria and Cosmopolitan, but this place takes the cake. If you're tired of spending $12 for a Bud Light bottle at your local casino bar, take a stroll down to The Golden Tiki. I rented a car for a few days, so it was easy to shoot over from the hotel for happy hour 4-7 pm, 10-15 mins. It was a Monday, so not busy at all. We are from Omaha, we took our friends that were in town from Australia, and we all had a blast. You could spend a day looking at all the treasures in the bar. We spent most of the time laughing, drinking and listening to the live music. Ferdinand did an awesome job behind the bar. The best part was $3 pints!! They don't have domestic beer but the beer I had tasted a lot like the Busch Light/Bud Light I usually drink. The bathrooms are strange and somewhat odd to say the least, so be prepared. No food really to speak of so plan dinner somewhere else. Have fun and keep a great attitude. Peace!

Loved it!

By TravelgalCambridge |

We loved our visit to the Golden Tiki - great cocktails and really good food and great music. Evelyn, our server, was amazing - so patient explaining everything - and we even had a visit from Krystal, the magician. I still can’t work out how she did the tricks she did!! Can’t wait to go again :)

Fabulous Tiki Bar....

By Crystal S |

This is what a Tiki bar is supposed to be. Island feel, boozy drinks, hula skirts and dark decor. Don’t listen to the complainers, this is a must while in Vegas!

A must if you go to Vegas

By Apples |

What a great place we went on a Saturday for happy hour and it was brilliant it was only a 5 minute taxi ride from Palazzo, loads of drinks and food and we couldn’t believe how cheap it was when we got the bill. They had a great singer I think his name was Dino really nice guy and a great voice. The waitress we had was also really friendly and helpful.

Great times at the Golden Tiki

By Larry A |

Back in Vegas and wanted to try this place. The four of us had a blast. DIno was there and we felt right at home. Enjoyed the flaming drinks and great apps. Will be back next time.

Take Me Back!

By Nicholas B |

This place is such a hoot, a must visit on a Vegas vacation. We were lucky enough to snag a booth and settled in for a great night with friends. We tried a series of cocktails and snacks throughout the night. My number one favourite drink was the Painkiller - woah! I could drink these all night long. Drinks are well priced for what they are, around $14 give or take. There seem to be some great drink specials on depending on the night. Food was tasty enough, but drinks are definitely the main attraction. The venue is quite large and staff were friendly and helpful. Having been to Frankie’s Tiki and this one, they are both very different. Frankie’s is more of a smaller dive bar feel that would probably suit going with fewer people. Golden Tiki would be the place to go with a larger group I think. I can’t wait to go back and get my tiki on!

Tasty tiki drinks

By VANESSA L |

Delicious drinks and amazing atmosphere!! Only had drinks but they were great and didn’t take too long despite the place being busy. Would have bought tiki mug if there was room in our luggage!!

One of the Best Places to Visit in Las Vegas

By JoeyH01 |

The cool vibe, the yummy drinks, and the friendly staff make The Golden Tiki my favorite Las Vegas bar. In the afternoon it’s easy to strike up a conversation with fellow visitors and make some new friends.

Great retro vibe!

By NBH_RH2 |

Came here to see The Hypnotiques last night and had a few cocktails. This bar has tremendous atmosphere and feels like a classic 50s Tiki bar. Highly recommend paying a visit!

A must stop when you are in town

By Kandyceelise |

We were a group of 4 that turned into 6...amazing amazing place. I say it’s the best kept secret ever because I have been coming to Vegas for years and just now found out about it! I loved the dole whip with vodka and the fact that they can make any drink flaming is cool. We probably drank every single drink they had to offer on the menu and loved them all. We also had almost all of their appetizers and those were great too! There was live music and we did do some dancing! The artifacts all over the bar are super cool. A huge shout of to Brittany, you are a fabulous server and kept up with us and your other tables so well! Thank you to Rob for the tour of the place!! We will be back every single time we come back to town!!! Heck, I even want to go back tonight!!

This place is great other than they allow smoking.

I go to vegas several times per year, but for some reason I never made it to the Golden Tiki Bar until a few months ago. We went on a Saturday evening and we didn't know what to expect. There was not a table open and we didn't realize we should have made a reservation. We found the last 2 seats at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks. The drinks and service were both outstanding. The only thing that bothered me was the smoking. About 30 minutes later they came to us and told us they had a table for us. I really appreciated that.

Love this Tiki Bar! Get a reservation and go! It’s alot of fun!

By TikiTravels |

I come here every time I visit Vegas and it’s literally one of the best Tiki bars in the country. Staff is great, the bar decorations are like stepping back in time. I booked a 2 hour reservation, samples some food and tried their delicious authentic drinks. The bonus was the band that was playing! It was so much fun. Highly recommend and check out all the decor when walking thru!

Must do

By Harlan M |

Had a fun time mid afternoon and the bartender was very accommodating. Very funny stuffed parrots are a must see and listen. Piped in voices in the bathroom were really funny. Good drinks.

Don't judge the book by its cover in this case

By MominOC |

The Happy Hour drinks are really watered down and we will just stick with wine and beer on future visits. Really it is the ambience why you would want to come here. Staff is very friendly and attentive. On this visit HH had just started at 4PM and so did the singer. Chips & Dip were surprisingly good. Yucky parking lot - don't leave valuables in the car FYI.

Jump in a cab and go there!

By AndyH399 |

Highlight of our Vegas trip. The place is quirky and wonderfully politically incorrect, even the skulls in the restrooms insult you when you are in there. The cocktails were without doubt the best we had on our trip. The banana and strawberry batidas were sublime. Great friendly service and I miss the place already

Best Tiki Bar in the USA

By Nicole_Ferrara |

We have lived coast to coast and been to a ton of tiki bars in our time, but this one is the best. Friendliest staff by far, great sense of humor. The drinks may sound similar to many other tiki bars, but the quality of the mixologist just knocks them out of the park. Best Mai tai anywhere. Treated my family like one of their own. This was the highlight of our trip. The decor, atmosphere, and music were on point. Truly the best place to go in Vegas. Book ahead and skip the line. If you like tiki this place does not disappoint. All our drinks were yummy but I only snapped a pic of my 1st the Blue lagoon.

Our favorite!!!

By KellieandDenis |

We love this place and have been multiple times. This is a must do for us whenever we are in Vegas. The staff has always been friendly, the atmosphere is amazing with such fun decor and the drinks are so yummy! Located in Chinatown, off the strip area, we usually take an Uber/Lyft there and back. Recommend making reservations online ahead of time, it's such a cool place they are usually pretty busy

Tiki Time in Vegas

By dlbemoll |

Awesome tiki bar in Chinatown, Las Vegas. Think Disney meets tiki, fantastic decor. It is open 24 hours and does have slot machines on parts of the bar, it is Vegas. If you are a tiki fan it is a must see. I had the mai tai and it was perfection.

Don't bother going anywhere else

By blacksasquatch |

Decor: amazing Tiki stuff everywhere (though if you're squeamish about brass handles shaped like a dude's junk, don't use the washrooms). Service: attentive, friendly, very funny. Food: perfect bar bites, very tasty, and happy hour pricing got a big thumbs up from us. Entertainment (Dino A'La Carte belting out some lounge standards): loved every minute. And the drinks... honestly, they were so good that they've ruined most cocktails for me. I don't know why other bars in Vegas bother opening, because this place is literally the perfect joint. I've seriously never been so comfortable at a bar before. Easily accessible by single bus from the Strip, so you don't have to worry about transport if you over-indulge. We've been talking this place up to everyone who will listen, and I'll probably still be doing it on my death bed.

Iconic Vegas bar that's popular for tourists and locals...

By Steff A |

After years of visits it's time to give some props to an iconic Vegas bar that's popular for tourists and locals... They go hard with the Tiki themed decor and I love it. Dark af lighting, Christmas lights and hanging pendant lights provide the mood, straw grass roof over the bar, and tiki themed music provides for a great drinking environment. Technically it can be used as a date spots for drinks if you're looking for a fun casual spot. I seem to pre-game here a lot because I usually come out of here buzzing and laughing. The Happy Hour drink and food specials were on point. We went with the chicken bites, captain's balls (meatballs) and the shrimp cocktail. All dishes were tasty and paired up perfectly with their in house drinks. My favorite in house cocktail is the flaming Scorpion Cocktail. Nothing like a flaming drink to boomerang for the (Insta)gram before taking it down. Visually appealing and dangerously delicious as it's definitely potent. The bar is fully stocked with everything you need to get your drink on. This is a great bar that appeals to both locals and tourists because it's a ton of fun and the drinks are on point. My visits have been late nights, happy hour and everything in between. The memories boozing here with tons of different friends have been great. Drink responsibly and cheers!

On our must see list!

We don’t miss an opportunity to check this place out when we’re in town. A fun atmosphere, fun staff, fun vibe, and great drinks. And, the entertainment (when offered) is always fun as well.

Go for the fun!

By sippster7377 |

Found this place on TripAdvisor and agree with all the things that have been said. The drinks and the atmosphere are just plain fun. We went during Happy Hour for the best prices. We found limited food offerings, but enjoyed the tater tots and chips. But you don’t go there for the food! Oh, and the restrooms are “interesting” as well!

Great Happy Hour!

By Paul W |

Went on a Tuesday for Happy Hour. A good selection of the drink menu including the Zombie was on happy hour pricing as well as several appetizers. Drinks while small were very tasty and can pack a punch. Engaged service and fantastic atmosphere. Overall a great experience.

Loved this place!

By heather a. |

My husband and I are huge tiki bar fans so we had to check this place out while in town. This was one of my favorite tiki bars I've been to. The atmosphere is fun, colorful and has a cool pirate theme. The happy hour is fantastic and the drinks are delicious. My favorite was the 'pain killer' with the dole whip. The mai tai was amazing too! The staff is very friendly and attentive. We were in Las Vegas for 5 days and visited this place everyday after we discovered it. We loved it so much! Highly recommend!

Happy Hour makes me HAPPY!!

By simicu |

The Mrs and I initially visited here a few weeks back on a Friday night at 1am and the joint was absolutely packed. Plus there was a band playing really loud to the point that you couldn't hear yourself talk. But we loved the atmosphere and the super cheesy decor & lighting. So we knew we had to return and decided to visit here yesterday during happy hour. Much less crowded to the point that we were able to sit at a table (which are normally reserved for those who make reservations when the action picks up later in the evening). We took advantage of the happy hour prices where select drinks and appetizers are available at anywhere from a third to more than half off their regular menu prices. The Mrs had their signature mai tai, I enjoyed the zombie cocktail, then a bit later the Hemmingway's ruin. All three drinks offered a fair portion of alcohol mixed in, altho I have to say the zombie cocktail contained a bit too much ice - but still tasty nonetheless. We also shared their appetizer, the captain's balls (great name), 8 delicious mini meatballs in a teriyaki like sauce with some pineapple bits. Heck, at $5, it was a bargain. And service was perfect, so friendly and accomodating! Altho the majority of cocktails are not available at happy hour prices, we both felt it would be worth coming back and at least trying a few of them, as they all sound so good. By all means, stop by and have a drink or two....or three or whatever. Enjoy!

Dark and fun

Located in a busy strip mall. Parking is hard but, I would uber as drinks are strong. Interesting place Fun atmosphere

A must see in Vegas

By christine r |

This is a gem for Tiki bars, I walked in and my jaw dropped. Was greeted by Jason in the most friendly manner he gave us a rundown of things and while answering questions made the best Mai Tai I have ever had. Perfect in mixture and presentation. My nickname is Mr. Mai Tai and have sampled the drink all over the world this my friends is the way to make it. I won’t spoil the many surprises but visitors need to check out the talking dirty birds and also the bathrooms, Keep an eye on the video over the bar. We were there at two o’clock in the afternoon perfect time for seeing everything as I sense this place rocks at night. It’s a quick drive from the strip and more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Aloha and Mahalo

Dole.Whip.Float!

By HiggerTor |

As per the title! :D I was absolutely ecstatic to see Dole Whip on the menu, and then the fact they have several things with Dole Whip! I had the Whip as a Rum float and it was incredible. Service was super friendly (there were only a few folks in at the time I was there, so it was nice to chat to the staff) and I got a Tiki Mug for my collection which was great!

HORRIBLE customer service

By Anna U |

Golden tiki USED to be my absolute favorite spot to go when in Vegas. I drove 5 hours from Phoenix for only one night (anniversary) and had Golden Tiki in the plans for nighttime. We tried to make a reservation online but the app kept glitching and freezing so we decided to go in and hope for a bar seat. We walked in and was denied because of my water bottle that I have for MEDICAL reasons that had MEDICAL GRADE WATER from my medical device at home. I NEED it with me. I dont go anywhere without it. I even have a pass to through through TSA with it. The lady at the front desk (blonde) was the worse person i have EVER met at a restaurant. I have over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry as I’ve managed restaurants all over new york city. She was yelling at us to leave because of my water that I need MEDICALLY. As she had us waiting our seat got taken at the bar. We let her know and she started screaming at us threatening us to leave. Im at a loss for words. My fiance and i have spent hundreds of dollars here. Wont be coming again. Save your money. Customer service is a PART of the experience not just the food. The lady at the front was incredibly rude and honestly shouldnt be working here. I honestly feel discriminated against… we have never had that experience there. We did nothing wrong we didnt even raise our voices. My partner and i are both ethic and felt like it was personal. Hopefully no one experiences this again. Nobody should ever be screamed at in a restaurant. Ever.

Can’t wait to come back.

By Robert C |

Fantastic service. Drinks and food were excellent. Took a little time to get our order. But that gave us all time to look around. Even the bathrooms are unique. Really a great place for a visit.

Fun and excellent cocktails

By Ana C |

They have Dole whip! The atmosphere is fun, the staff is helpful and friendly the rib s were soooooo good, the variety of cocktails is good. I wish I had known of this place sooner. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a happy place any time of day or night.

Awesome oasis off-strip

By maconmom |

Had the dole whip with dark rum and was not disappointed. You should definitely take time to stop by this cool bar.

great experience

By DuquesaLondon |

I had read about the Tiki bar but had never been. So we booked for two for drinks. it was such a fun place and they had a happy hour which was great. there was a live singer but at 7pm it became a DJ. it was decorated in assorts of unusual things such as heads and ghostly figures. we never ate in there. the staff were very friendly.

Service and drinks were excellent

By mnguru1 |

Get a Dole pineapple drink! We had a special one on Mother's day. It was delicious. The ambiance is cool. Location and parking are poor. Plan ahead and get reservations or go very early in the day to avoid the rush. I would highly recommend the Dole ice cream concoctions.

Bad experience due to hostess

By Megyn H |

Golden Tiki is a favorite for my friends and I, we come here regularly and always have a great time. But, When we walked in tonight, we asked if they had any open tables we could sit at (it was just 4 of us). Usually when they have open tables, they’ll offer them to us to sit at which is super nice because the bar is always packed so it’s standing room only. So I asked the hostess tonight (who was a brunette girl wearing glasses) if they had any open tables and she rudely ignored me and then I politely asked again. She looked me up and down and said “you need a reservation” and I asked “are there any open ones we could possibly take now?” and she rudely responded “You’d have to look online” before rolling her eyes. The issue is there’s barely any service inside so it takes a long time to pull up the website on our phones to even book a table. She’s also a hostess, so I would assume she should be able to easily access that info. It was such an unpleasant and rude experience and I was bringing family here for the first time, so their first experience here has also been unpleasant and unprofessional. The lack of help was absurd and her attitude made all of us feel extremely uncomfortable.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME

By Orest K |

First off get reservations especially on a weekend. The atmosphere is so wild. Tiki bar meets Rocky Horror Picture Show. The service was 5 star and the entertainment plus magician was a great experience. Be sure to get a flaming drink.

Great drinks

By Santamonica2574 |

What more can u say Look at the photos Don’t miss this place Great bartending crew Great drinks Off of the strip Do it

If you’re into this kind of thing… Make it a point to stop here on your next trip to Vegas!

By Jedimasterkush |

Some people find it a little kitschy but I’ve always loved a good tiki bar and that may come from my time in the Navy and going overseas to some places where some of these ideas came from. First off let me see if you’re serious and you’re planning on coming if you can make a reservation by all means do it especially if you have a group of people. This place gets packed. They serve all the drinks that you expect to see like a scorpion and the trader Vic mai tai. The day we came it was super busy and half of us sat and the other half had to stand but it was still a great time. Good music played and they even got the crowd involved with a couple of things. By the way the parking lot is not so big and it does Fill up.

So much fun off the strip

By David E |

My wife found this bar before our trip and decided to check it out and we ended up going two nights of a three night trip. About a ten minute drive off The Strip in Chinatown. It is set up in a strip mall but don’t be turned off by that. The atmosphere is very fun. Things to look at all over the place, great costumes on the servers, live music, and fantastic drinks. Oh and it’s open 24 hours a day. Our server Brittany was fantastic, quick service, very attentive, and kept the Mai Tias flowing. We came home with five tiki mugs.

So cool

By Heather |

The golden tiki is an awesome bar in a strip mall in Chinatown. They have a large menu of drinks and the bartender will explain it to you if needed. They also have a food selection. I will definitely be back!

Very unique place!

By Bill P |

If your looking for something NEW to try in Vegas, this is your place! We were there early and only had drinks, but they are fantastic! Sat at the bar and talked with 3 different bartenders and they were all friendly and welcoming. I had the painkiller and it was perfect! As many have stated, the talking parrots are great, but the staff was as well! If your offended easily, this place probably isn't for you. If you like to see new things and try new drinks, put this on your places to stop!

The Tiki Gods are calling, you must go. But go with reservations!

By Nicole C. |

Really cool & fun atmosphere, but VERY small inside. Be sure to make reservations. We went on a Thursday at 7:30pm, failed to make reservations and the 3 of us were only able to squeeze in a standing spot at the bar after looming around for 20+ minutes. Very few tables inside. I ordered the lime in the coconut & not only was it really tasty, but it also came with an unexpected display. Great service & so fun!

Place is a dumpster fire...

By Freight Train |

If it weren’t vaguely pretty to look at, it wouldn’t be worth the trip in the slightest. Drinks are underwhelming to put it kindly. Not even a good juice blend at that with zero complexity and lacking serious alcohol. Sad you can have 5 drinks there and still drive without even a slight buzz. Service leaves much to be desired as well. Nothing like waiting 20 minutes for a drink when the bar is empty, and a lack of skill at that. A decent bar tender wouldn’t need a cheat sheet. There are better places to spend your tiki cash in Vegas. Really need the trip? Walk in, do a lap and go somewhere better. All hype and no delivery at The Golden Juice Bar.

A must see when in Vegas for anyone into Tiki Culture

By ratrod |

You have to make reservations to get in, great Tiki Bar that has some of the most creative cocktails, we tried the Dole Whips, one with dark rum and one with pineapple vodka. The best! The whole place is something to be seen. We stop everyone we are in town

Travelers be prepared

By Patty O |

Poor service, you need a reservation for a table. Which has to be on an app. Can't from Texas to enjoy some cocktails, didn't happen.

Best

By Teakwo23 |

The best tiki bar I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere looks like it was done by a movie studio. It’s unassuming, by it being in a strip mall.

The Best Tiki Bar in America! It’s like Disneyland!!

By Branden |

This place is so amazing! It’s just like Disneyland but for adults! They have animatronic tiki birds that cuss and tell Dirty Jokes. The drinks are FIRE! The best I’ve ever had. The staff is so amazing, attentive and friendly! Make sure to explore the portholes , hidden treasure chests and the bathrooms! If you’re easily offended stay home this isn’t the place for you . Finally a place that isn’t afraid to stretch the boundaries and be a little naughty .So much fun!

Great experience

By raininroses |

We made reservations before coming here, and it was a good thing we did. It was packed! Wednesdays, when we went, was 80's night. The servers outfits and the music were all about the 80's. The decor was delightfully Tiki, and the drinks were outstanding. The wings were perfect! We would definitely come here again.

Worth Dropping In

By CharlieinTexas |

Fun, well decorated, dimly lit bar with a great cocktail menu. Friendly service. Tasty coconut shrimp. Must check out the odd, but interesting restrooms. No reservation, sat at the bar, which is first come first serve basis. .

Well Worth the Taxi Fare!

By NoAngst |

We were told the Golden Tiki had an “unassuming” exterior facade. That’s an understatement… Located in a small strip mall, we would have passed it up had we not been informed. Inside is awesome! Dark, eclectic and friendly, this is one great tiki bar. Service was excellent, and all drinks are garnished with flair, as one would expect. Food was tasty (try the prawns) and fair priced. Bartenders are the key here. They have a lot of personality and skill. This place is small, so go early if you want a seat for happy hour.

Hidden Gem

Authentic Tiki Bar. Hidden in Chinatown. A place with friendly pirates, stiff drinks, and loose slots. Perfect for great conversation, laughs, and hidden treasures. Hit my first Royal here! $$

Didn't Live Up to Expectations The Second Time Around

By dknight818 |

Yes, I reviewed The Golden Tiki before. Yes, I gave it four blobs back then but I also said that it wasn't the best tiki bar I'd been to. Why two blobs now? Well let's get into that...It's been nearly 3 years since my first visit to The Golden Tiki so I decided to stop on for a drink and to sample something from their new food menu during a recent business trip to Vegas. I'll hit all the positives first. The atmosphere and decor hasn't changed, it's still pretty cool. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I tried the wonton soup and it really was very good. So here we get into why I was very disappointed. My go-to for ANY tiki bar to test its mettle is the Zombie. I didn't order a Zombie during my first visit because The Golden Tiki doesn't serve it as an individual drink, only as a large bowl. This time, I said "heck with it" and ordered this Zombowl. The presentation was fun, served in a large conch-shaped vessel with flaming sugar cubes in lime shells. When I tasted it, though, my immediate thought is "this is NOT a Zombie." I had a few more sips and simply couldn't continue as the drink, overall, tasted like stale Sprite. I was just going to cut my losses, pay for it and 86 myself, but the manager offered to re-make it "better" at no extra charge. I agreed and, sadly, it was no better. There are a lot of positives that make The Golden Tiki cool, sure, but I simply cannot support nor recommend any tiki bar that can't execute the foundational classics.

Tiki Terrific

By Summerfunboy |

After landing in Vegas we had a couple hours to kill before our suite was ready so obviously the best thing to do...get some drinks at The Golden Tiki. Our server was Asia and she was great and the decor is wacky and wonderful. Unlike some Tiki bars the darkness level isn't pitch black so it's nice to see all the unique things on the walls and ceiling. While we were enjoying a cocktail they were installing a large wooden carved Tiki head at the bar and there are many shrunken heads in display cases of famous people. At intervals there are little showpieces like a parrot talking or a Hula girl statue dancing which gives the place a real fun vibe. Drinks were good and the food was very tasty and the service was great as well. A great place to wet your whistle while in Las Vegas.

I can’t believe I have been to Vegas 18 times and now just found this place. Thanks taxi cab guy for the recommendation

FUN, FUN,FUN just when I thought I have seen most of Vegas then I finally find this place. Throw this one on the must do Vegas bucket list.

Golden Tiki's Unique Vibe Makes It Worth The Parking Hassle

By Karoadtrips |

An unforgettable experience! The décor is truly out of this world - the shrunken heads and intricate details on the chairs and ceiling make you feel like you've stepped into a mysterious paradise. Happy hour was a hit with a great selection of drinks that left me spoiled for choice. To top it all off, the chips and dip were absolutely delicious, perfectly complementing my drink. Although it's slightly off the Strip, it's worth making the trip to enjoy such an amazing atmosphere. I especially loved finding a special surprise in the ladies' room—it added a fun twist to my visit. If you're looking for something unique, this place hits all marks.

Time well wasted

This had been on our list of places to go for 9 years. We finally got the chance to go and it was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was fun and inviting. The decor is unique. The bar service is top notch. There were so many drinks to choose from and the manager even bought us a round of drinks which was very nice. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back!

Island vibes. Shrunken heads. Surf music. Good drinks.

Cool funky kitschy. Great vibe. Good drinks. I had the pork sliders and would order again. Go to the bathroom. Even if you don’t have “to go” to the bathroom. lol.

Meh

By Amilcar Guzman |

Interesting venue with a flavor of old-school tiki vibes. This establishment is 100% about the decor and aesthetic an not the quality of food or drink.

Good Place

By jordansbulls |

Went here today and got the Navy Grog, Jet Pilot and Mai Tai. Good drinks overall and prefer this one over the other tiki bar.

Pretty much perfect!

By Steven and Amber |

One of the best Tiki Bars we’ve ever been too. Best painkiller we’ve ever had. The bartenders were so kind. The decor was already perfect but even better with the holiday cheer. We can’t say enough good things. Nothing but excellent vibes here. You’ve made us regulars any time we’re in town!

“Dirty Disney”

By travelerjane265 |

Great tiki drinks and fun tiki atmosphere. The “dirty Disney” description is pretty accurate!! We had fun at this place close to the Strip (10 min Uber ride). Make a reservation to avoid a wait. 21 and up!

Terrible Customer Serivce

By Malcolm H |

I spent 3 minutes there, worst staff i ever experienced. Rude manager, security and im sure if i would've stayed there longer it would have been the same with the rest of the staff

So busy and I know why!

By Anne F |

I missed the boat on reservations and now I know why we went at 2 AM on a Sunday night and it was packed to the gills because the place is amazing. It looks incredible the drinks are amazing just all-around one of the coolest tiki bars out there. The shrunken celebrity heads were my fav!

Golden Tiki

By Gary53546 |

I stopped by the Golden Tiki on Monday 3-18 and had a very nice experience there. I liked the Rum Runner's they made there. I also met some very nice people there and enjoyed there conversation. It takes your eyes a little while to get used to the lighting inside. I thought Anthony and Malory were great bartenders. I will be back in May to see you again!

Gimmicky

By JB |

Nice concept. More gimmicky than quality. Kind of grimey inside (and sketchy parking lot area - be aware of your surroundigs) but can be fun vibes.

Beer and Apps

By Steve O |

Give your eyes time to adjust to the darkness when you go in lots to see here. Drink menu with too many drinks to count. If you can not find a fruity drink here you will not find it in Vegas. We had some apps. and I think this is all they serve no meals at all. Not real sure about the price of things to eat and drink here as I and the others were treated.

So much fun in one place!

By Michelle T |

We had so much fun here! We made reservations in advance to secure a seat and we were given a nice couch around a table in the back. We had plenty of room for our party to have fun. The place isn't especially big inside overall, but the place is absolutely packed with fun visual treats every where you look. Our server was patient and friendly and made great menu recommendations for us. The drinks were flaming and fun. Bring your camera and don't skip out on checking out the bathrooms. We heard there is a resident ghost, but we didn't experience anything paranormal ourselves.

You need to leave the Strip and go to Golden Tiki!

By TremontRaven |

My boyfriend has been on a big tiki kick recently so after having such a great time at Three Dots and a Dash in Chicago, I started looking for good suggestions for tiki in Vegas for our next vacation. We made the best decision by going to the Golden Tiki! Wow, this place is incredible. The drinks are seriously amazing and we're anxious to go back. Of course, the interior is insane and fun - especially the bathrooms. The staff was great too. We will be going at least once on every Vegas trip in the future.

The real Tiki Bar experience

By E818RUcharlesk |

A great little trip down memory lane if you want a little something different. Totally the epitome of mid century theme bars with dark shadows, cool lights, fancy drinks and singing parrots. Love bringing guests from out of town to try something a little different. Peek in the little portholes. Visit the restrooms for sure. A little surprise almost everywhere you look. So looking forward to bringing our granddaughter to the famous Golden Tiki for her 21st birthday on Saturday! Such a kitschy fun retro place totally echoing old Las Vegas. The fancy cocktails will set the perfect tone for her day. We will definitely be posting pictures

AMAZING Tiki Bar! Worth the visit from the Strip!

By AmyC614 |

My husband, friends and I are all from the New Orleans area - so basically we know a good party. My husband and I decided on Vegas for a vow renewal this year instead of Mardi Gras. I could not be any happier we did! We renewed our vows at A Little White Chapel and while planning, I found The Golden Tiki here on TripAdvisor and decided, based on the reviews, to have our reception here at The Golden Tiki. Stephanie, our bartender, was amazing! Super attentive and perfect service! They were quick to take care of our every need. And the drinks were impressive! Everyone from the bouncer to the DJ to the manager were all top notch! We come to Vegas often and will absolutely be back here to visit! If you’re a tourist, it’s totally worth the Uber or Lyft ride! You won’t be disappointed!

A Golden Find for Tiki Bar Lovers!!

By texasecotravelers |

This is our second time to pop in to the Golden Tiki while in Las Vegas and again it did not disappoint. Our friends who had never been to the Tiki before said it "made their trip" and was one of the most fun things they did in Vegas. Fabulous waitress served up some awesome flaming drinks and the ambiance just can't be beat!!! This is a "must see and do" when in Vegas. Just a 10 dollar Lyft ride from the Strip. Call ahead for a table reservation so you get a good spot to sit.

Fun staff & atmosphere.

By Ron H |

We went very early in the day so there were only a few of us in the bar but based on our interaction, I have to believe that the staff really cares and would do a great job even if they were packed. Stop in early so that you can take in all of the decorations. We tried several of the drinks and non of them disappointed. They have a strength rating for each drink so that you can manage the alcohol a little easier. I wasn't up to the Navy Grog that day, but I'll definitely be back. The Captains Balls were wonderful for a an appetizer and the Dole Whip with dark rum was the perfect way to cap off the afternoon. Highly recommend making this quick trip off of the strip.

Such a fun and different bar experience!

By Paula P |

We made a reservation for an early dinner and were there for Happy Hour. The food was ok-Standard bar food but was fresh and hot and huge portions. The drinks were fun and boozey! The vibe was great, there were a lot of what I think were locals in the bar area and they all seemed to be having a great time. The service was good. Our server was friendly and open to offering suggestions as to what to order. We loved the atmosphere. It was dark and moody and there were so many things to look at and laugh/talk about. We would go back again and order off the main menu rather than the HH menu to try something else.

This is a quirky place, even for a tiki bar! The tropical-themed drinks are good. I especially like the Dole pineapple whip ones. You can get your drinks flaming. Make sure you visit the restroom. The staff there are nice. The pic is of the last customer who didn’t tip their server, so tip!

Coolest vibe and decor

By kzakowski |

We came during happy hour, and wish we could have stayed longer but had to catch a flight home. Drinks were beautiful and great value, but a little weak. They were doing repairs on the bathrooms, but had port-a-pottys available out back. Bartenders were great and fast. We had to wait for a seat at the bar, so if you want a table I suggest making a reservation. You must visit this tiki bar at least once just for the decor and vibe.

One of The Best Tiki Bars I’ve Seen!

By TikiTravels |

This place is amazing to put it lightly! Crowd gets into the vibe with many in retro clothing filling the bar scene. There was a live DJ spinning retro vinyl records and a live band. There is ample seating but the place packs a crowd. I was still able to get a seat at the bar within 10 minutes. The decor is over the top with lamps, bamboo, pieces of Tiki art! Find the mermaid in the glass tank. The drinks are spirit forward and amazingly great. My Grogg was lit on fire before it was served. They also serve the trader Vick’s style Mai Tai that’s spectacular. I highly recommend this place as it’s full of locals and visitors in the know and it packs a fun vibe. Located 10 minutes off the strip and in the middle of some of the great china town restaurants. Nice change from the strip bars.

Hidden secret of locals and

Hidden secret of locals and celebrities. Tucked away in the heart of China town Is this gem. This is my 3rd trip and LOVED every minute. From the insulting skulls in the men’s room to the amazing hidden pictures in the port holes, this place is an epic adventure. I came here to meet up with friends and now I’m here every time I’m back in Vegas. I will be back. If you ever see a bald guy with forks. Watch him.

Funky atmosphere, fun drinks

By Karissa |

Went for pre dinner drinks and had a blast. The ambience is so fun and the decor is so funky and cool. Our server was super attentive and fun. She suggested we get our mai tai lit on fire (very cool). And the other drink we got was the dole whip with pineapple vodka (a must try!)

Outside area is deceiving

By MominOC |

This place has a huge personality once inside. The music was fun and gave a happy vibe. Think she said it starts about 4PM. They advertised a Happy Hour. They also had food that looked good. Staff was amazing. The only downside was the limited parking in a "not so nice area" but we did not have any issues so guess it is OK.

Tiki Experience

By Mark C |

We were visiting from out of town and heard about this bar on a Vegas site, so the 4 of us Uber to The Golden Tiki for a “virgin” experience ( or so our waitress told us). It was FANTASTIC! The atmosphere, music, service and cocktails were impeccable as well as the special tour we got( ask your server about this!!). Will definitely return when we are back in Vegas. Oh, and the parrots are a riot(don’t go if you are easily offended) ☺️

Great Local spot in Vegas !

A Vegas Institution

I can't believe this was my first time at Golden Tiki! It did not disappoint. The atmosphere is unbeatable and the drinks were terrific. Adam Rains is a genius. Great for locals and tourists!

Now THIS is a tiki bar

Great drinks, great service, so much to wander around and see. We had a blast and will visit again our next trip to Vegas. Be sure to make reservations in advance, and make sure you goto the restroom!

Fun vibe

By Sam C |

Came with a friend for drinks, it is dark inside with nice funky lighting, just like a tiki bar should be. Drinks are strong, which is to be expected. Service is average, decor is cool, overall a good place to have drinks. Located in an unassuming strip mall in Chinatown, it's not too far from the strip and close to all sorts of asian restaurants if you need carbs before or after getting drunk.

This is the place to be!

Wow, what a fun place and great time at the Golden Tiki! From the moment that you walk into the Golden Tiki, you know that you’ve entered into a by gone era! The atmosphere of the bar has a great vibe and the hostess got us a great table and that was the beginning of the fun. We had a few appetizers to go along with our drinks and they were all great too! The Golden Tiki is a wonderful change of pace and if you’re looking for something a little different in LV, this is the place!

Happy Hour

Fun, friendly, and entertaining! The drinks and food did not disappoint!!! We will definitely visit again soon and have already talked to many family and friends to give it a try.

Great place to hang out.

By Vegas Gar |

I love this place. This has been on my "Vegas highlights" list for a while and it did not disappoint. Due to the latest virus regulations, the bar part of the The Golden Tiki is closed. You can still sit at one of the tables and have a snack and get some drinks. Make sure that you call for a reservation because the seating is somewhat limited at the moment. The phrase "lots of stuff on the walls" doesn't really do this place justice. Everything in here is like that episode of the Brady Bunch going to Hawaii on steroids, and then it threw up all over this place. I'll spare you the details, but do yourself a favor and check out the bathroom when you are here. We had the Crab Rangoon (tasty) and had a couple of drinks (Blue Lagoon and a Pain Killer) and they were delicious. The service was great and everyone was very pleasant. They took our temperature when we got there (just like most places) and got in pretty quickly on a Monday night. Will definitely come back and throw back some more big, colorful and fun drinks!

Very interesting joint !!! We enjoyed

By Eric L |

The atmosphere was electric . The drinks were good . I only drank beer but the girls said the drinks were good. Wasn’t expecting the food to be to my liking but that as well was worth the stop. It’s off the strip but not far please check this local place out!!

Love this place!

How have we never been here in 20 years of visiting Vegas?!?!?! ITs' so fun, tasting and festive. LOVE it! Adults only makes it even better.

Bad drinks and bad service

By Denise K |

Went to this bar expecting great things based on reviews. When we walked in the person at the door was rude off the hop. The decor is pretty cool though and the bathrooms are a hoot! Sat at the back and I think everyone had a different drink on the menu and they were all terrible. When we complained the waitress said it was us, not the drinks. Would not split the bill and there was 20 of us, all singles so that was also a pain. Friends spilt a glass of ice and the waitress acted like it was the end of the world, cut them off, no one was out of control so it was very odd.

Good bar

By OLenany |

Very relaxed atmosphere. Drinks were decent. The prices are decent as well, not overpriced. They were like $16-18 The service is slow though. No offense. Nobody rushes anywhere there. Taking their time for everything.

Coolest place in Vegas

By Annabellearn |

Very retro Polynesian Tiki bar. Like stepping back to the late 40’s or early 50’s. Great specialty cocktails too. You can get one made in a special mug (I got the monkey)& take the mug home. Just a little outside the craziness of The Strip. Friendly staff. Don’t leave Vegas w/o stopping here!!

Pineapple Dole Whip with Rum

By DJMChicago |

Had a yummy pineapple dole whip with dark rum. Very eclectic place with interesting bathroom decor. Good for a laugh. Would go back for the drinks.

Can't believe I waited so long to visit this place!

By FromStoSW |

Located in Chinatown, The Golden Tiki is a really fun bar. Their happy hour specials are awesome! I tried the meatballs...they have a great kick and flavor. Very good! I tried several drinks and enjoyed all of them. They're quite potent, and pricing isn't bad at all, especially during Happy Hour. All of the employees were really sweet and attentive. Overall, an awesome place. Can't wait to visit again!

Only the Front Room is Fun

By MDM |

The lounge is divided into two sections. The front is where the bar, swank tables, fab decor, DJ booth, giant clam, good lighting, great photo opportunities, and all of the fun and excitement are. Then there’s where we were seated, a completely separate, depressing “overflow” room in the back with horrible furniture, no decor, lighting so bad you can’t read the menu, and speakers so loud you can’t have a conversation (when they aren’t cutting out every thirty seconds or so). Drinks look beautiful but are watered down and sickeningly, syrupy sweet. They only serve appetizers but they’re filling and surprisingly good (liked the meatballs especially). Definitely worth the happy hour half price, but not worth the regular $14 price. Staff are very nice. If you aren’t seated in the front room, I suggest you insist on waiting for a table or a barstool there, otherwise just leave.

The Best Tiki Bar Ever

By Patty n |

This place is perfect. Kitschy, dark, campy decor. Huge drink menu, great food. Service was wonderful, we had originally planned to have appetizers & drinks, then lunch, but after ordering a puu puu platter & seeing the size of it, we ordered 1 more & that was lunch for 6 of us. All our drinks were amazing. I cannot begin to imagine a better tiki bar, this one is going into the regular rotation for us. Definitely make reservations.

Love this place!

By Misshellcat |

2nd visit to Vegas where we had to visit here! The decor is so beautiful and the staff are brilliant, attentive and down to earth. We were there on a Thursday afternoon so it was quite quiet but as always, the drinks were so good! We ordered food this time and OMG, the best Apps ever, could have eaten them all trip. The pineapple salsa and Chill chicken is to die for! Cannot fault the Golden Tiki!

Great Happy Hour and attentive bartenders!

Love this place! Food was good and drinks are even better. Atmosphere is also top notch! It's off the strip but the strip sucks!

Great Staff, Fantastic Ambiance, the BEST Drinks

By Maggie M |

I have to start by highly suggesting the ‘Painkiller,’ easily the best tasting drink I’ve ever had. It’s made with a Dole Whip and it tastes just like Disney World. The staff was A+, bartender came and chatted with us for a bit before the crowd came in, very friendly! The ambiance was SO FUN and I wish we had gone there during a busy night, definitely would be a blast when packed. Although, I really enjoyed being able to enjoy the bar during the early morning. We popped in at 9 while we waited for the Chinatown shops to open. Drink prices were also fantastic, ranging in the $15 range, we also got two souvenir cups that were an additional $30. We will definitely be visiting again!

Disney in an adult-ish way...not Disney

By Gigi |

Such a fun and intriguing place for both locals and tourists! I felt like I was entering a Disney ride when I first walked-in. The decor was entertaining...Disney for adults with a Las Vegas twist. You'll find something that will be sure to catch your attention. Keep that in mind when you enter this bar or using the restrooms. Adult themed. We found the place packed without an open seat available for Happy Hour. However, the hostess was so accommodating! She gave us a reserved booth and told us not worry about a thing. Our server, Dana, was AMAZING! She said that she will find us another place once the reserve party arrives and that she did twice! She was great at recommending drinks if you don't know what to try first. If you are a lover rum and tropical drinks, this is place for you! The presentation of the flaming drinks makes these yummy drinks even more enticing...just don't place a straw in your drinks while it's lit... So much to be said about this great place from the drinks, service, live band, dj nibbles and attention grabbing decor. You'll enjoy it. One more thing, make sure not leave without taking a picture inside the giant clam.

A must-do when in Vegas.

By LeraAnne |

Neat place, with interesting decor. Service was excellent and I highly recommend the Dole whip with pineapple vodka. It was pretty busy, we did have to wait outside to get in, and seating is almost non-existent, unless you make online reservations so we spent most of our time standing at the bar, but still had a great time.

A MUST hit spot

By Cheers2life |

This is such a COOL MUST hit spot. Great Happy Hour and fun drinks. Once you walk in, you feel like you're in the Pirates of the Caribbean, song, lights, decor and all. The wallpaper in the bathroom, wall pictures, ceiling, music, drinks.... EVERYTHING is AWESOME. Every time I'm in Vegas, I go here with my brother, whose a local.

Fun times

By Odyssey670116 |

A fun time. Good beverages. We arrived at 3 and happy hour started at 4. Food was extremely salty. Good DJ start. As more time went by, kinda went down hill. Would go back w a group.
