We had breakfast at The Hart and the Hunter while staying at the Palihotel. The hash had huge chunks of flavorful smoked corned beef and fingerling potatoes. Their biscuits are incredible also.

First of all...the food and drinks were amazing. I caved and ordered a burger and it was so worth it. Highly recommend. Second of all, the service was so great I went back later that night for drinks. The bartender is one of the best. Hands down. The service was also wonderful. Felipe and Zach were amazing. Will be going again for sure.

We both had the Shoreview Burger, and they were crazily salty. Also we asked the server if they could be medium rare and they came out well done. The burgers were thin so I could see that it would be hard for a cook to keep them medium rare, but then the server should not have promised that they would be. The side salad on the menu was mixed greens, those awful horrible weeds. We asked if we could substitute regular (romaine if possible but any kind) lettuce and the server said no, so we settled for fries: also insanely crazily salty.

I ordered DoorDash and the food was so good, and so I decided to come in. Zach is an absolute delight. This has easily become a new staple in my week as I work right now the street. I will be back again soon.

I love the H&H breakfast, the biscuits are amazing! The staff are attentive and have the best recommendations for your specific cravings.

Travel a lot for work and fun and had hands down the best service at a hotel bar I’ve ever had! I always sit at the bar top because I like to get local tips from the bartenders and Alex gave me some of the best recs ive ever had. Followed them to a t and had an incredible time in Seattle thanks to him! He also clued me into the blue plate special 🤤 as a British gal living in the states this was straight up the best fish and chips I’ve had! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know who is heading to Seattle! Thank you Alex! (Posting this on every platform I can think of so that everyone knows!)

Wandered around looking for breakfast and eventually came across this bar/restaurant. We had a group of 8 which they could cater for but there was a 15 minute wait. There was some indoor seating where we could wait. Service was friendly and the coffee was plentiful but they can't make tea to satisfy an Irishman. Breakfast was tasty and served promptly with a smile. We even went back the following morning. Make sure you try the aforementioned potatoes.

Great breakfast and coffee. Jose F. was my server, and was fantastic. Service was fast. Recommended highly if staying downtown and looking for a good quick meal.

We stopped because of the location. It was a pretty pub type restaurant. Service was very slow to get our drink orders. Menu said Shrimp Louis with local shrimp. I don’t see this often on the menus at home so I ordered. It was barely recognizable as shrimp louis. Shrimp may have been canned, no olives and a vinaigrette dressing. When I mentioned this to the server he brought a cup of olives. I do not recommend.

Located in the lobby of the Hotel we were staying at, Palihotel. Cute comfortable vibe. Mix of classic and contemporary decor. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee was tasty. We ordered the mushroom ricotta omelette which came with a biscuit that was so flaky and buttery. It came with a chili butter that wasn't really for my palate, but might be for others. The French toast was fantastic. Perfect amount of sweet with the whipped cream, fresh berries and candied walnuts. The H&H breakfast is a classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. Staff were very nice. The only negative I'd say in our experience is that it took a bit longer than I expected to be seated and to order as there were only 4-5 tables occupied in the restaurant. But the food and politeness of the staff made up for the wait.

Great interiors. Fabulous food. We had breakfast with a mushroom omelette. Although the menu looked really good for lunch and dinner as well. Treated ourselves to coconut cream pie for dessert. It was delicious. Personable and very good service. Zach waited on us and was fun to talk to. Well done! We will be back.

The service and food were super. It's very close to Pike Place Market, but not too close (away from crowds). The atmosphere was calm and friendly. The coffee was excellent. We will return.

Loved the atmosphere and vibe here! The drinks and food were delicious and service was great! Zach was very knowledgeable and made tasty suggestions. We will be back next time we are in town!

Was served by a very helpful and kind young man Zach S. Thank you for the great food and service. I will be back!

Wonderful spot for breakfast/brunch. The vibes are immaculate! My friend and I were treated to a great meal and excellent service. The best part is the overall atmosphere. The seating and decor is cool, clean, and modern. Plus its location is right by Pike place making the hotel and cafe very accessible. Would recommend! Big thanks to our server, Zach!

Very nice place with impeccable service. Excellent food, for a reasonable price, but unfortunately, in too small a quantity The cocktails are excellent

Had lunch here recently. Food was good. I had carrot griddle cakes which were delicious. Service was OK. Prices were a bit high compared to some of our lunches especially the drinks

Great little restaurant with updated diner style food. Great burgers, nice brunch menu. The waitstaff was very charming and service was good

I have eaten at H&H often for the past two years, both for brunch and lunch. The food is very good, with the notable exception of the shrimp louie which I did not care for. the service is excellent and everyone who works there does, indeed, give you "Trusty Service" (which is advertised in neon on its window)! Prices are very reasonable for Downtown Seattle.

Very nice place with impeccable service. Excellent food, for a reasonable price, but unfortunately, in too small a quantity The cocktails are excellent

Perfect breakfast meal. Omelets were cooked perfectly. Nice and fluffy without any brown. Great flavor on the ingredients. Eggs Benedict were awesome as well Bacon was just right. Darn good biscuits. Great table service. Decent prices.

During a recent stay in Seattle, we had a few wonderful dining and drinking experiences at Hart & Hunter. The restaurant was conveniently located next to our hotel. The service was great. We especially want to commend Ava R, who seemed to be there from open to close, always ready to help. William T also provided excellent service for breakfast one morning. Hart & Hunter is a fantastic spot, and we highly recommend it for delicious food, great drinks and attentive service in Seattle!

Corned beef hash was OFF THE HOOK!! Zach & William are the most attentive and helpful hosts/staff! Can’t wait to come back tomorrow! Chef John is an artist and obviously loves his craft!

The restaurant is close to Pikes Market. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is a variety of tasty menu items. We had the best ever coconut cream pie!

Spent 2 days at the Palihotel before our Alaskan cruise. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but really enjoyed their restaurant and bar. Felipe took care of us at the bar and made the best drinks, food recommendations and Seattle suggestions. Check out their happy hour specials. Their biscuits were the best we tasted along with one of the best espresso martinis. I wish we were big drinkers as I would of ordered an Old Fashion......Felipe was the reason we kept showing up at all hours and eating their biscuits......don't miss this place - it's literally steps from Pikes Market.

I was served by the lovely Hayley. There was also another lovely waitress whose name I can’t remember so I apologise to her. I’m in Seattle on business & on my own & I have to say how fantastic it was that Hayley spent the time to talk to me & generally made me feel so comfortable, especially as I was on my own & a long way from home. The world needs more Hayleys! If I could give a 10 out of 5 I would.

Food was decent but service was absolutely abhorrent. Disrespectful and even overheard wait staff laughing at us… and on Easter Sunday. 😟

The most unexpectedly excellent breakfast. Wandered in while waiting for a Pike Place tour and we were incredibly pleased with breakfast. Coffee was amazing. Love getting surprised with delicious food.

I enjoyed this spot a lot. Found it through Pinterest actually! Don't regret coming over, the aesthetics were cute. And the food was amazing. The service was fast, attentive, and friendly. Great place for breakfast, and cute photos.

We ate there several times and got drinks from their bar as well. Hanna was our waitress for many of our visits and she did a fantastic out of this world job. Mika & Arlin also served us and they were fantastic as well. There bartenders do a super great job and have the whiskey sour down to a fine art. The service alone is a reason to visit here but the food is as good as the service. A must restaurant to visit when you are in Seattle.

Had breakfast/brunch here and it was excellent. Staff was kind and helpful with suggestions. I had the waffle with fried chicken and my wife had the sticky toffee, which was delicious. If you are staying in the hotel there’s a 10% discount. Would definitely go back again.

The good first. We went for dinner on Aug 24. We were seated quickly and brought water immediately. Ordered the fish n chips and the chicken pot pie. Both meals were great and the service was great! Well it was so good we decided to return for breakfast on Aug 25. They were more crowded tan last night and were told about a 10 minute wait. No problem and we were seated in exactly 10 minutes. Water was brought quickly. Now the bad. Several staff walked around us for the next 8-10 minutes and completely ignored we were even there. Saw 2 seated after us getting their order taken. Then saw 6 seated after us giving orders. Yes and then 3. We got up and left. This shift needs lessons from the dinner shift. Very frustrating!!!!

This place sadly has nothing you’d expect for breakfast, no options for low fat milk , full fat only Juice only orange Food menu lacking Long wait stood around to be acknowledge by staff even though no one else queuing for a table

We live in the neighbor and with many restaurants to choose from this is a favorite for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Very good food and excellent service. Nice little outdoor spot too.

The Hart and the Hunter was a good option for our family to have brunch while staying in Seattle. Close to Pik Place Market, located in the lobby of the Palihotel, this restaurant had a good brunch menu with lots of choices that made it difficult to decide. They do have a kids menu, which isn't advertised, but our server let us know about it. While the food was all great, it was frustrating that our server did not write down our order and then several things in our order were forgotten... like how we wanted our eggs prepared and our drink order. This seems like an easy thing to get right. The food was fairly expensive for being a breakfast joint. Our family got basic breakfast items (eggs, waffles, etc), two coffees, and waters to drink and the bill came out to over $100... for breakfast. that was a lot. The biscuits were fantastic. I would go back to try The Hart and the Hunter again.

Awful! The staff have the personalities of gray rocks. The breakfast menu is limited. The coffee is on the bitter side. I had the mushroom omelette. Pretty but nothing more than folded over scrambled eggs with a few mushrooms and a little dry Parmesan thrown on top. So, I ordered a side of hollandaise, but it had a very salty taste. Hubby had the H&H, but on a Monday morning at 8:30 they were already out of ham. He said the bacon & potatoes were pretty tasteless. Everything was served just sort of warm. Obnoxious music was too loud and the bolster seating was uncomfortable. I cannot recommend this place for breakfast.

Excellent service. Great food. Nice view. Fantastic location (near Pike Place Market). Away from the tourist crowds.

Such a gem- the breakfast was delicious, the vibe is great and staff was super friendly. Zach took excellent care of us. Definitely recommend!

I would have loved to give a better rating for this restaurant, and if i were just rating the food, I would have. We had a Groupon and went there for breakfast. We got water and menus and my husband asked for lemon for his water. After quite a wait, the server came back for our order and my husband reminded him about the lemon. He took our order, then brought the lemon back. My husband's breakfast came with coffee or tea, which he offered to me. I chose the coffee, and it was almost enough to make me get up and leave. It was truly awful coffee with a nasty aftertaste. Then our food came and redeemed the restaurant. My breakfast sandwich (without bread on my request) had a thick slice of the yummiest ham I've had in a long time with onion jam, scrambled eggs with cheese (my request again, I don't like over easy eggs) and fried fingerling potatoes that were lightly sweet and spicy. I truly savored every bite. My husband had The Hart breakfast and was equally impressed. All in all, I'd still go back. And in the server's defense, they were understaffed and he was working a lot of tables and he was never rude, just busy.

Cool upscale diner in the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife had the corned beef hash which was excellent with its own culinary twist. I had the endive Caesar salad with their homemade smoked salmon. Another great dish. My daughter's chicken pot pie was over the top. While the bf got the fish and chips which he said was very good as well. Highly recommended.
Grea food and good service
I stumbled upon this place and after a first dinner there, I returned last night. Their food was really on both occasions: I highly recommend the seafood stew.
