Exceptional Service When It Mattered Most

By Passenger62013273305 |

Adam is an absolute lifesaver! I had a large corporate group booked at another restaurant, and they completely dropped the ball. No one would answer the phone, and I was being bounced around by an AI bot just 45 minutes before our guests were due to arrive. In a panic, I called The Henry on Robertson, and Adam stepped up instantly. Within minutes, he found the perfect space for my VIP clients and saved the entire evening. He handled everything with calm professionalism and true hospitality, and because of him, what could have been a disaster turned into a seamless, elevated experience. Adam is a total gem, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We will absolutely be bringing more groups to The Henry in the future. Thank you again for being everything hospitality should be!

Pleasant experience in BH

By Halle H |

We were originally headed to another restaurant but , this one caught our attention. So glad we did stop in! We made a meal of appetizers. Short rib potstickers, a house salad, and truffle fires were all a good bet!

Inside secret: Sunday mornings, before 10:00 am.

By bugnurse56 |

Food is a general menu with choices that change and specials-I had a chicken and biscuit as good as New Orleans. Superb. Coffee: fine brew. Available: don't make it a chore, just come HERE. For brunch in LA on Sunday, even though a lot of places are listed in guides. They closed or they have filled up. COME HERE. It is affordable, no pressure on us to move off the seat. We spent 2 hours eating, chatting, reconnecting. Thanks to all the fine help and wait staff. Check out their Library of magazines, and little bar areas. Jus the Nicest spot. we will return.

Great Service-Fabulous Atmosphere

By 772patrick |

We came here for lunch twice. Both times the food was wonderful and the service pristine. The restaurant is open air (at least when we were there) and roomy.

Staff is better looking than the food tastes

By G7306EFdavid |

For those that believe that you need to wait tables on your way to becoming a movie star this place will confirm your beliefs. The food was good, not great, but certainly satisfying.

Lively atmosphere and great food !

By ElektraVelvet |

This is another great restaurant by the people who brought us True Food Kitchen. The food is creative and innovative. The service is great. I had a Poke bowl and it was so good, I went back the next day to have it again ! The Henry is a reasonably priced, yet trendy option on North Robertson.

Selective, elit

Service, decoration, ambiance, all of them were perfect. Although the menu was not very rich, every option was delicious. Everyone must experience this restaurant.

Meh

Not as good as the reviews that we read. Food was ok, but that's it. Smaller portions and mediocre service.

Great food, great ambience, great service

By GreggMS |

First time I have eaten here. My sister, niece, and brother-in-law all love this restaurant. After eating here, I would have to agree that it is excellent. I had the Short Rib Potstickers and they were cooked perfectly. The sauce that came with this was delicious. We also had the Crusty Bread & Pesto and this was some of the best bread I have ever had. They toasted the bread perfectly. I had a glass of the Bonanza Cabernet and it was also good. For my main meal, I had the Shrimp Taco Platter and I loved this. My sister and niece had the Umami Brussel sprouts. They let me try one. Even though I usually hate Brussel sprouts, I loved the way they cooked these. They also loved their Ricotta and Artichoke Dip. For dessert, they had the Molten Butter Cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and liked it. Our server, Grace, was excellent! Next time I visit West Hollywood, I will stop in for dinner again.

A hidden gem for lunch

By GradingMachine |

Our friend Tracey suggested that we meet her, her husband Ace, and her son Sam for lunch here. It was awesome. Our server (Jessica) was awesome. The food and drink were delicious: 1) chicken and avocado salad, 2) Caesar salad, 3) Kids Mac n Chz, 4) Turkey French Dip w/sides of bacon, avocado, and truffle fries, and 5) Turkey French Dip (plain). The Whiskey and Doughnut cocktails came with actual donuts. Delish! Easy parking is located up the street a block: two hours free.

Great decor and food

By 3Guapastravel |

Power Bowl was delicious along with The Pretzel Bread. Had s business meeting and the service and good was great. My wandering eyes couldn’t stop staring at the beautiful decor-flannel type wallpaper new the restroom! It’s a gorgeous restaurant conveniently located by Cedars on Robertson Blvd.

Nice reasonably priced place w/ good food

By tripindicular1 |

The atmosphere is good-looking and the restaurant is very large. Service was good. We had a salad a past and a Korean steak that were all good. Food is reasonably priced especially for the location. Great for all times of day.

The Henry perfect for dinner in West Hollywood

By JSL |

Situated a short walk from the Sofitel Hotel in West Hollywood, The Henry offers a wonderful array of culinary delights; including dishes for vegetarians! The restaurant has a nice ambience and the staff very friendly and helpful. We all opted for different pasta dishes, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the various Ragu prepared perfectly. We choose a bottle of Australian Sauvignon blanc which did not disappoint - would have preferred a local wine but the local wines were overpriced! For desert, our waiter recommended a trifle; the trifle was just amazing, large enough for two people to share.

Beverly Hills visit....

By corvette44 |

Ashley and Conner helped me at the bar, prompt service, I ordered the grilled halloumi salad. The salad was excellent, great flavors, pop in your mouth, highly recommended.

Excellent in all respects!

By Eleni K |

Just opposite the famous Ivy in the West Hollywood, The Henry is an excellent choice in all respects: decor is contemporary and cosy, the crowd vibrant, the dishes are well selected, prepared and presented, the service is smiley and efficient, and the prices are friendly!

Amazing

By John R |

What a great team. Warm, friendly and welcoming Had a great afternoon coffee and snack at the most amazing cafe we have been to in a while. Great job guys Keep up the awesome atmosphere and service especially brittany and her colleagues.

Minimal portions and nothing noteworthy about the experience

By mhb1954 |

The place has a nice look to it, and its location is likely what keeps it going, it's definitely not the food. Service started out great but deteriorated through the meal as the place got busier. The food was just so-so. I couldn't believe that for $31 I get what looked like a dog bowl with a FEW strips of skirt steak (I bet fewer than 8oz!) over some "special" rice which wasn't special at all. The meal was hardly noteworthy of a memorable meal. As our server came by less and less frequently, we went without water longer than we should have, and the experience thus was one that we will not repeat. Cannot recommend.

Over priced, so so food

By Martin Y |

Overall, we were disappointed. Service was very friendly, but our wait person forgot about us a few times resulting in waiting 15 minutes for a basket of bread. The food was decent, but over priced; $5 for what we thought would be a nice size basket of baguette style bread and butter, instead there were four slices of (of baguette style) bread that were a little dried out. $32 for about 6 oz. skirt steak was absurd. The upside is that it was cooked to perfection and tasty. The avocado hummus was bland and not appetizing, plus it was $13! This item should be 86'd from the menu. The short rib pot stickers were really good, but $16 for 6 of them was a joke.

Great brunch spot

By 310Andy018 |

The food was certainly above average & nicely prepared. The service was friendly & attentive. The atmosphere was lively & the decor open & attractive. We enjoyed our visit.

Nice place - with an attitude

By GuidoKarp |

My first time here. A super-cool upscale place with an obvious mix of hipster people - and accordingly prices and sadly a somewhat attitude-ish greeting as our table was empty but had not been cleaned (and took 20 mins to be wiped). My sandwich was great - the potatoes were cold. On all of our plates. Sorry, three stars were the best I could do.

Great Place On Robertson

By Maps687119 |

The Henry is a nice restaurant with great food. I have been going to this place from day one. Everyone here is friendly. Ethan does a great job and gives the best suggestions and recommendations. He is very knowledgeable of the food & drinks served here. I strongly recommend this place.

Up scale fun brunch spot !

By AlbertoMay |

This great family restaurant its a lot of fun on weekends. Just across the Ivy you can play paparazzi and see who is across the street. Great full bar and very good brunch. I loved the service everyone is very friendly.

Lovely Lunch with Friends and Family at the Henry

By mrs_un0 |

Came to the Henry in September for a quick lunch with friends and was pleasantly surprised. The outdoor seating area was lovely and the food was delicious. I would definitely return!

Good- try the Wagyu burger

By SFTRVLR |

Delicious Wagyu burger- very high quality meat and great bun. Fries were ok. Good umami brussel sprouts. Overall very nice decor

Inventive and tasty

By golem67 |

Open areas and indoor choices, we sat near windowed kitchen area which made it a bit stuffy. Waiter was friendly and helpful. This was an early dinner before a movie. I had a drink with “french rhubarb” apparently a reddish liquor which was pleasant. Dishes were tasty and inventive.

Eat at The Henry!

By 858sharlae |

During a girlfriends weekend to West Hollywood, we had breakfast at The Henry on Sunday morning. It is housed in a very large space on N. Robertson with excellent décor and a very preppy vibe. They also have outdoor seating which we may have taken advantage of had it not been chilly and drizzling that day. I had the egg sandwich on brioche with potatoes on the side. The egg was so flavorful - I don't recall ever having an egg so tasty. The potatoes were prepared with some onions and were a great addition to the sandwich. My girlfriends had the egg white sandwich and the 2 egg breakfast. Everyone was very pleased with their platter. All of the tables' food was served simultaneously which was pretty impressive. For something sweet, we shared the blueberry muffin and Nana's coffee cake - both very good pastries but we preferred the coffee cake. We had very good service - our waitress checked on us several times. Had we stayed in the area for a longer visit, I would have definitely gone back to have lunch or dinner at The Henry.

Happy Hour deals

By Creeping_Death_LA |

I arrived an hour early before the Minor Hotels group dinner event started. One of the waiters came up to me and he invited to go to the bar and order some drinks on the group's account. It was 500pm and happy hour was going on and the bar restaurant only had a few customers. I ordered some of the special drinks that were recommended and my favorite was the smoked pineapple margarita. I don't know what they put in this spicy drink but my lips were numb, LOL. The staff is great and we had a nice time at the event, it got very busy when I left around 830pm.

Very poor

By Daniel S |

I have to say this visit was not very good. I ordered a salad for my main course that was drowning in dressing and for US standards very modest in size. Kids food not much better. The service was not up to much, very slow - rose wine i ordered was served tepid and took 15 minutes to resolve.

Great spot for a quick bite.

By Richard G |

Great neighborhood spot with friendly staff and decent food. Particularly enjoyed the oysters! Hanging at the bar, or outside are the two best options. We will definitely return.

Lunch visit

By Casey W |

Restaurant only serves brunch on Saturday. Disappointing since they are supposed to be known for burgers. Only one burger on the brunch menu.

Yes it's hip, but with a bit of attitude

By sophisar |

I was only here for a drink but it seemed like a hip restaurant. I did get a sense of uppity atmosphere and judgmental attitude from the staff and clientele but the nice cocktail made it better.

Great little gem in the heart of town!

By dawnwtv |

We have passed this place a thousand times and decided to pop in! Thank God we did. Great food, reasonably priced for LA and wonderful atmosphere. The happy hour scene is lively but chill with sofas and chairs to accommodate a more intimate meeting if needed. We will be back! The only disappointment was when the server did not note an up charge when he talked about the sides that are available with a particular entree when we ordered from the list given and had an up charge, instead of immediately removing the minimal charge he asked if it was okay making for a very awkward moment. A little better training of staff or at least an, "I am sorry I forgot to tell you and I will remove that charge immediately". Instead we got, I forgot to tell you is that okay? Granted it was $2 but it is the principal and how I judge an excellent restaurant from just an okay one.

WeHo's newest eatery is the new Millennial must

By Pattithediva P |

You gotta go there just to check out the scene. It pulsates with youthful vibes. The food's not bad either. We loved our poke bowl and rib potstickers. Wine's overpriced by the glass at $11 but we swallowed it. There's indoor/outdoor dining. Dress is very casual and the service great.

Best Hip Tasty Breakfast/Brunch in LA

By Brian C |

This place is incredible! Great food, bloodies and service. High end casual with great attention to the FOOD!

Good food, but once was enough

By thehighroad |

First the positive. Our server Sean was great! Upbeat, charming, and attentive. The food was very good, but on the pricey side. The location is good, but the decor is a bit staid -- more to the elegant side rather a modern "fun", youthful or upbeat atmosphere. We are two older women (one elderly) who went to The Henry for dinner to celebrate a birthday. We asked to be seated away from the speakers since the music was rather loud and we wanted to be able to have a conversation. We were seated near the back but none of the tables seemed to be any quieter than any other, so we asked for the music to be turned down so we could hear each other. The hostess said she would ask the manager -- the volume didn't change. We asked our server -- twice, who said he would speak to the manager. Still the volume didn't change. After moving to sit as close as possible to each other so we could hear at least most of what the each other said, Adam, the manager, came over to our table. I didn't realize he was the manager since he was dressed much more casually than anyone else working there. We asked Adam to turn down the volume. He stated they kept the volume up in order to create a "fun" atmosphere in the dining room so the music couldn't be turned down anymore than the little he already did. There were people sitting at about 6 tables in the dining room. All of them were engaged in conversation -- none seemed to be there for the music, nor did they appear to be having "fun" as a result of the music rather than the people they were with. I suggested to Adam that I doubted any of the other diners would object if the music were lowered. He said it was as low as he could or would make it and walked away. While I appreciated the great service provided by Sean and I liked the food, I found nothing exceptional about The Henry. It was unnecessarily loud so conversation was difficult at best, the manager was unreasonably unaccommodating, and despite the manager's desire to create a "fun" atmosphere in the dining room it was no more "fun" than any other upscale overpriced restaurant in the area.

Trendy - but food was pretty disappointing

By marcozurich |

Henry is a trendy WeHo location. However, the food is overpriced and nothing special. I ordered some avocado hummus with grilled pita. But the pita never arrived as they were out of bread (!). The steak of my friend was overcooked and black :-( Nice location to be seen - but just have a beer.

My favorite go-to West Hollywood spot!

By April1979_07093 |

I love this place! It is honestly one of my favorite places to hang out in LA. I hate to disclose one of the best kept secrets but this place is an amazing spot to write and get work done. I love my morning coffee at The Henry. The girls behind the coffee bar are always so incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I usually get there pretty early and no one bothers me at all. I usually sit and write, either outside on the patio or inside in a booth from 7-11. Its quiet, the coffee is great. Breakfast and lunch are a little pricey but delicious always. Then, at night, I love to come to Henry around 5-6 pm for drinks. The indoor/outdoor bar and lounge area is great for socializing or having a little dinner. The staff here is ALWAYS accommodating, pleasant and wonderful, which is why I keep coming back.

A lively all-round restaurant!

By 123sel123 |

Lovely atmosphere, nice helpful staff and excellent food....and have enjoyed both lunch and dinner in this fun restaurant. It has a good menu and seems to cater for all tastes .... I would certainly recommend it but book first, as it is a popular destination!

Bloody mary cart ftw

By Melissa W |

So happy a great place finally went into the spot where Newsroom used to be. This place is great - super chill ambience and vibe, great food with tons of options, good service and amazing outdoor patio. Highly recommend going for brunch and most importantly, the bloody mary cart which is always entertaining and the aperol spritz's which are my latest obsession.

Worth a visit

By Nasuella |

Been there on lunch, the service was professional, the food was good, definitely worth a visit. Nice location and design.

The Best Brunch in WEHO

By Kristin Riviello |

The best brunch in Los Angeles! My best friend and I heard great things about the brunch at The Henry and we were not disappointed! We sat on the outside patio it was a beautiful day with a nice breeze. We ordered the strawberry and pomegranate spritz and black truffle cheese fondue to start. For our main entrees my best friend got the traditional breakfast sandwich with avocado. I got the truffle fries and the short rib pot stickers. Can not recommend the food enough, we even got an order of the pot stickers to go. We also ordered the blueberry lemon cheesecake before we left. Honestly it was the highlight food wise for our trip and we will absolutely be returning!

Great location, fun atmosphere, delicious food

By Rosemary M |

If you're in West Hollywood and want to grab a coffee, a cocktail or bite to eat, stop by The Henry. We walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy but were easily grabbed a table on the patio. I had the Lebanese Hummus. It was more than enough for me. I shared half of it with my husband. He enjoyed the grilled Halloumi salad - and remarked it was one of the best salads he's ever had. The coffee was great and the service attentive. Worth a visit.

The Best Brunch in LA

By David K |

One of the best Brunch spots in LA!. The bloodymary cart is a real treat. Made right in front of the table with delicious home made vodka and bacon and special treats. The shared the sticky bun for the table which was delicious. The egg white sandwich was too good and the fried chicken with eggs really innovative. Rancheros Breakfast bowl was just the right blend of spicy and eggs. Not to be missed....A fun vibe and crowded but all the servers are friendly and engaged!

Back for another delicious lunch!

By GradingMachine |

We first ate here a year ago when our friend Tracey suggested that we meet her, her husband Ace, and her son Sam for lunch here. It was awesome then, and it is still awesome. Loved our server (Irvin). The food and drinks were delectable: 1) We shared the Beverly Hills Club and still had to ask for a to-go box (very generous portion). 2) My wife enjoyed the Whiskey and Doughnut cocktail (yes, it comes with actual donuts). 3) I had a tasty Daou Cabernet. We easily found parking on the street. I think it was $4 for two hours.

Visit with Friends

By Sheri C |

I met some foreign friends for lunch on a Saturday. The Henry takes reservations, so our group of three had no wait for a table. The service was prompt on delivery but could’ve used some check ins for questions/requests. We shared the lobster/shrimp starter and were not disappointed. The lobster was buttery melt in your mouth and the shrimp were plump and tasty. We each had a different salad: the poke bowl-standard nothing special; the harvest bowl was a pleasant blend of veggies and was too large to finish; the last one was a boring variety of Caesar even with the requested addition of some Brussels sprouts (_+$3) Only one person had dessert-a chocolate lava- cake with salted caramel ice cream. Good but not inspiring. The bill, even being WeHo, was $200 including tip for: 2 generic cocktails I shared app 3 salads 3 cappuccinos ( very weak for my European friends) 1 dessert The menu worked for our mostly veg diets, but true carnivores were more limited.

Amazing food!

By eugenzz |

We had the hummus and the rotisserie rib eye with corn. Both dishes delicious and great price for what you get! Even the kids cheese and ham sandwich with French fries was top notch!

Disappointing...

By Skyruby |

Honestly, the best thing about this place is their decor. The setting is very beautiful and tastefully done! Service and food were both really mediocre. Our server was not professional at all. There was no manager to be seen, our steak was undercooked and when we sent it back to cook it more and specifically asked not to burn it, they took it upon themselves to slice it and dry it completely.... our server never checked on us after we got our main dishes and came to see if everything was ok at the end of our meal. To top it all off... at 11pm the kitchen staff was super loud yelling in Spanish and all the lights were turned on at the restaurants to “politely ask” everyone to leave!!! I’ve never experienced that, it was extremely rude!

So what if it is a little hip—THE FOOD IS GREAT

By 13360man |

The food is delicious and full of flavor. I had some salad—forgot the name—with an oregano vinaigrette dressing. The dressing to salad ratio was perfect, and the salad had flavor. Marvelous. Half baked chicken was crispy and served with my choice of side—spicy egg rice which was spicy and flavorful (I enjoyed the heat AND tastes the flavor). The prices are upscale. My friend and I were able to enjoy an intimate conversation; no shouting needed.

THE BEST

By Nancy K |

The ambiance the Henry created in that former Newsroom space is nothing short of amazing. It's warm, comfortable and cozy for such a large space. Love the outdoor space as well. That having been said the food is excellent and the menu is creative, top notch products and wonderful healthy but beautifully prepared and excellent breakfast and brunch items. I've been there for dinners as well. Always the best - and excellent service.

Easter brunch

By Isunwin |

Really enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. Spacious, well decorated, airy, indoor/outdoor seating. We came for Easter brunch. We started with the shareable cinnamon roll. It would have been better if it came out warmer. I had the avocado toast with egg and a side of potatoes and it was outstanding. My mom had the Eggs Benedict and found it a little dry. Our friend had a burrito bowl which she enjoyed. Music is a bit loud, parking sucks, but I would definitely come back.

Healthy new American eats

Very cool vibes and great customer service. I ordered the rottiserrie chicken with vegetables and husband got the Korean prime skirt steak. We ate every bite.
