We needed a place to have a snack between flights and were surprised and pleased to find The Italian Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck. Taylor took very good care of us steering us toward a very well prepared calamari and a antipasti that we could share. We were very happy...

I had a couple of hours before my flight so I stopped in at The Italian Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck for dinner. Ordered my usual Tito's martini and the Eggplant Parmesan in honor of my wife who loves this dish! The martini was perfect, and I loved the Eggplant Parmesan. Besides being affordable and perfectly delicious with just the right amount of pasta, it was a perfectly sized portion. (I am one of those calorie counters!) My server Taylor was attentive and fast...her friendly but no-nonsense approach was exactly right. Will definitely come back next time I am in DFW's Terminal D!

I ordered the rigatoni Alfredo. The taste was ok but the amount was subpar. Very disappointed. I also ordered the tomato basil soup and it was fantastic!

My wife and I thought we would get a nice sit down breakfast prior to flying out of DFW. What a mistake! The toast was as hard as a brick, the crisp bacon was not crisp and after returning a latte for a second time because it was barely warm, we just gave up. Worst $31.00 breakfast we ever had. What a disappointment Wolfgang Puck!

Flight cancellations, trying to make the next connection is kind of the norm adding a lot of stress and when we need a drink or food, customer service is really important. This was a more expensive choice because I thought it would be better - I was totally wrong. I ended up having time only for a drink. The bartender (Steve) took his time and had an attitude.

We had a 3 hour layover in Terminal D of the DFW Airport and decided to eat here instead of getting a counter service meal. Very happy we did as this has very good Italian cuisine. My son had a cheese pizza to which he raved over about how great the pizza was and the flavor that it had being cooked in a wood oven. I had an amazing meatball sandwich and string French fried and my wife had the Caesar Salad. All three were generous portions and were fresh and tasted great!!! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you can spare about an hour during a layover for your international flight, you will be pleasantly surprised with this gem of a restaurant.

Perfect for a non fast food lunch, waiting your flight. Rigatoni was cooked on it's point. Nice cup of the house wine and good service.

In a rush, we ordered carry out. My chicken sandwich with egg, lettuce and a few other sidings was one of the tastiest chicken sandwich I've ever had. I skipped the bacon on the sandwich. We ate on the plane before it took off. The chicken was very most, cooked perfectly. My wife's pizza was 'good' she says but could have used more cheese.

If you are in Terminal D at DFW and have the time to eat, I highly recommend The Italian Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck. We thought it might be expensive, but it wasn't. Normal airport prices. The food was outstanding. Starting with the bread and olive oil delivered pre-meal. We couldn't stop eating it. They had an excellent menu with a good number of choices. My wife and I had the Margherita Pizza. It was so good. One of my daughters had the spaghetti and meatballs and my other daughter had the ravioli. Both dishes were really good. The server was great. He was very attentive and personable. It was a pleasant dining experience while we waited for our plane. You must try it if ever at DFW.

Very good food. Small portions. I ordered a bowl of soup and it was less than half full. Came with no bread. I asked for more soup and was told no. Can't recommend this this place even though the food was good.

The place looked nice, had plenty of time before my flight, decided it was miller time and in the mood for food. Ordered a beer and while looking at the menu, realized that I had been spending the last 3 min swatting away flying insects. I looked around and everyone was swatting the air around them. I asked the bartender about this, she just said its because its open to the rest of the airport! What? I travel alot, never have I been accosted by bugs. So finished my 12 dollar beer (YES THAT IS RIGHT), 12 bucks. Was not going to eat there any longer, can you image the kitchen.

Stopped for breakfast on a layover in Dallas when we had about 45 minutes. It was around 8:30 on a Friday morning. We were seated and brought water immediately while we looked over the menu. Our server was amazing and had great recommendations. She brought us coffee and was so good at keeping our cups filled. The coffee was very good. We ordered the breakfast pizza and also the classic breakfast. The classic breakfast -2 eggs, toast, bacon and potatoes was so good. And the breakfast pizza - sausage, red pepper, red onion, and 2 cheeses topped with 2 eggs cooked to your choice (I did over easy) on a hand tossed crust was unbelievable. The server brought red pepper flakes and Karnes an and hot sauce as well. The pizza could easily have been shared, but was so good I finished it myself. The price was so reasonable as well for two generous breakfasts and very good coffee and the service was fantastic! Definitely the best place for breakfast I have stopped at the Dallas airport.

Traveling through Dallas… Am not an Italian cuisine type person, but was ONLY restaurant open. Surprisingly, was seated quickly and was not only met with friendly staff but ALL staff seemed to work cohesively and although busy, did not see anyone complaining. Ordered a pizza and salad which was delivered in a timely manner, hot and was good. Standing near the kitchen, a manager was SEAMLESSLY telling the kitchen staff which order was next while staging priority. Read some negative comments here about the restaurant and wasn’t there at that time but my experience was very impressive. Most shops and all restaurants were closed or in the process of closing for the evening (7 pm) Maybe too much hype? For me, good hot food served by friendly staff is perfection! When ALL staff are friendly and work together… given nature of ONLY restaurant open - flawless! We’re in a sh-t storm of a time where people don’t want to work? Kudos to this location and staff!

I ordered the margarita pizza 🍕 and broccolini. The wait was long and when my food was brought to the table, the pizza was cold and they brought me asparagus instead. Also, the pizza seemed flavorless and was over cooked and 🥶 cold. This was my first time eating here bc of the name and the menu; unfortunately, this was also my last time eating there.

We ate breakfast here. It was good. Our waiter looked like he was still drunk from the night before. He barely came by to check on us. He brought coffee without milk or offering to bring milk. I had to get it myself from the bar. Finally we were ready to get going, but the waiter never came by to take my credit card. I had to get the lady at the bar to do it for me.

Stopped hungry for some good food but was dissapointed. Ate a steak which was average at best, the Tuscan potatoes were fried potato wedges with no seasonings.

Service was lacking. I never received bread - some tables did and some did not. I ordered a 1/2 salad and chicken piccata. Nothing special and certainly not worth the $35 I paid for this meal. There are many, many places to eat in DFW terminal D and I won't make the mistake of eating here again. I've been to many Wolfgang Puck restaurants (Orlando, Spago in Beverly Hills, Denver airport, etc.) and this one is not up to the caliber of the others.

I only had a few moments before catching a flight to Alaska, but wanted a fine glass of wine, rather than making my way to the Admirals Club for standard fare Chardonnay .... Unfortunately, I didn't have time for a bite, but the wine selection was tremendous, the service was stellar, and the atmosphere was clean and contemporary .... It deserves more research, so cheers to research !

Great price and food. That can be hard to find in airports. Got the Verdure pizza and kale salad, perfect. Service was amazing and fast too! It's in the D gate area, definitely coming back since I fly thru here alot

A very decent airport restaurant. I took a ceasar salad and a burger, and both were really good. I liked the efficiency and the courtesy of the staff. Nothing outstanding, but better than most of its peers.

I had a three hour layover and wanted to grab a bite to eat and chill for a minute with a glass of wine. I was craving a salad, so this looked like a good option. The service was not that great. I ordered the Argula and Fennel salad and enjoyed it very much. However, I was in a need of some salt, and when my waiter didn't come back and check on me, I had to ask the girl at the front. She was very nice and went to get one for me. I really wanted a glass of wine, and ordered one even though it was $14. I am still mad at myself for doing that. Several other places I considered eating had much more responsible prices on wine, so I feel like this restaurant is totally taking advantage of the trapped commuter. Since my salad was so good, I might eat here again during my next trip, but if I want a drink, I will be doing that somewhere else in the airport.

The atmosphere is ok. The tables have a place for your feet but they move if you use it! My husband and I both had the eggplant parmesan sandwich. The eggplant was more like a potato chip with a huge piece of bread, a tiny bit of cheese and sauce. No taste. A friend had the whole meal and the eggplant looked like a skinny slice of tomato! A small bit of pasta with barely any sauce accompanied it. Beer was good. I just would not recommend it. I did not see what others in our group ate but most was left on their plates.

This is in DFW Ariport (Terminal D). Great menu selection. Numerous wine choices. Service is excellent.

The food and décor were great but not matched by the level of staff attitude and service. The host did not show much enthusiasm and as we sat near the open kitchen, we heard cooks and servers complaining to each other-not something that a patron wanted to hear. Drink refills were slow and it took a while for our check to come-something that people would mind in an airport setting. The Bolognese pasta ordered was quite good, while the Minestrones soup was a bit watery.

We thought we had plenty of time to get through check-in and security at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, but we were wrong. Check-in went quickly, but security was really backed up, more than I have seen in years. After running the TSA gauntlet, we realized that our taxi driver had dropped us at the wrong terminal and we needed to ride the airport tram to the correct terminal. In our haste we jumped on the tram that was going the long way around the roughly circular track to our terminal. And then there was another long hike from the tram to our gate. So we ended up at the gate with a lot less time before the flight than we had anticipated. We figured we did not have enough time for a sit-down late-lunch/early-dinner. We decided we would grab something quickly and eat at the gate, so we’d be there when boarding began. But take-out choices were limited. No thank you, Ronald McDonald. There was, however, a Wolfgang Puck’s Italian Kitchen close to our gate. Could there be enough time for a sit-down? Good idea, but all the tables were full. Luckily, the Italian Kitchen also offers fresh, pre-made sandwiches, salads and pizzas for on-the-run passengers. A salad would be perfect, I decided, and selected a Caesar in a box. It came with Italian bread. I added a regular coffee. The bill came to $19.30, somewhat pricey, but worth it. I wanted to eat something healthy before the flight. The salad and bread were delicious, and just enough for me. The coffee was good, too, even though I’m a diehard Starbucks fan. I finished everything just before the flight started boarding. Maybe the next time I’m at DFW I'll make sure I have enough time for a sit-down meal at Wolfgang's…

Stopped in for breakfast with high expectations. Enjoy the Vegas restaurants with good quality food and service so expected the same here. I won't be back as there are too many other options. Was seated right away and totally ignored by 2 different servers both of which made eye contact. Hostess finally helped me out and got me coffee and flagged down a server. Me omelette and bacon were tasteless. I did not complain because I hate to send food back. I did request more coffee and never received it. Thank goodness she left the check when she brought the food, I left cash and left. Then I walked to the nearest Starbucks and bought more coffee.

On a return trip from Mexico we had a five hour stop at DFW airport. The staff at The Italian Kitchen was friendly and helpful. Our server recommended some kitchen chips for an appetizer, they were topped with Gorgonzola, Parm and a Truffle oil. My entree was four cheese ravioli. The meal included some fresh baked bread as well. This ws a very good experience at a reasonable price considering the airport location.

Nice setting, good music. Recommend the Italian meats pizza. Expect to pay around $34 for main course, beer and tip.

Typically, I do not eat at the airport as all food is overpriced, though a conversation with a taxi driver persuaded me to eat at the international terminal D. I’ll be honest other than fast food areas there was not too much choice but tried the Italian kitchen. Had calamari, steak and ordered extra fries. For some odd reason they brought the fries with the calamari as a starter… And then the mains were brought out later. To be honest, considering it was an airport restaurant, it wasn’t bad and it wasn’t too expensive… Certainly had worse

On food alone I’d have given 4 stars rather than 3, but the service and overall experience were enough to knock it down a star. My lunch was really good - the chicken club was delicious, the egg was perfectly cooked, the fries were crisp. Nicely done, and reasonably priced for an airport sit down restaurant. Service, oof. The waitress was clearly overwhelmed despite it not being crowded, I sat for quite a while before ordering. My tea glass sat empty for most of the (way too long) meal. I was offered dessert but then told all they had was tiramisu which I don’t care for. The gentleman who brought my food had a lot more personality than the waitress who took my order but he didn’t come back to check on me either. Finally, seating. Since I was alone I was seated at a high top table; I asked for a regular table but was told they wouldn’t sit one person at a 4 top. Okay. Problem is, at 5’5” my feet didn’t touch the floor and the table was too high so I felt like I was sitting at the kids table. Super uncomfortable and awkward. And these tables were very close together, which made for a bull in china shop experience whenever anyone tried to sit down or get up. I would have stayed longer, maybe had a glass of wine - I had a 3 hour layover - but once I’d finished eating I really just wanted to leave. Maybe that’s the intent, I don’t know.

Not impressed! As I was waiting on a connecting flight, I decided to have a late lunch at this restaurant. They were not overly busy. I ordered the calamari and a margarita pizza. The service was prompt. Unfortunately, the calamari was disgusting. It was over cooked and the breading was far too crispy. It was more like crunchy. It felt like I was eating a granola bar. The pizza was ok, I’ve had better. I will not eat there again; just not worth the time or money.

We are a family of four who were waiting for a connection flight to FL. We stopped at Italian Kitchen for a quick bite. The food came in about 15-20mins (we ordered a salad and a pizza) and tasted like cardboard. As well as that, the food is tiny and for 20$ per cheese pizza for my son, price does not congruent to quality. Lastly, a random server also ran at us and stopped us at our gate (in front of our young kids) and said Hey you! Gonna pay? She did this without consulting our waitor (whom we paid and tipped) and brought us back to the restaurant where the following scene played out and we threatened to sue for harassment. The meal was refunded however no apology was given while the server retreated into the kitchen. Horrible restaurant, slow food, bad food, bad service, high prices. 1/10

Airport options are limited but this wasn't a bad one. We had a good meal. Service was slow but they seemed short staffed. We had the truffle and mushroom pizza which was tasty but super oily - probably why it was tasty. And the chicken piccata was good but the portion was small and once again kind of sitting in a pool of oil. It was a nice atmosphere though. No regrets, just probably won't go back.

I was blown away by this place. I had the grilled salmon and it came with a perfectly dressed arugula and fennel salad along with a white bean ragout. Great REAL food.

Ate here at the airport for a meal before boarding the plane. The food was served in minutes was good the service was excellent

After a very long day of flight delays and too much time waiting in airports, this authentic pizza (we had margherita) was just what we needed. The crust was perfection and service was excellent.

We were in between flights on a Sunday Evening in Dallas and looking for a bite to eat. We wandered into Wolfgang Puck's place and we were really glad we found the place. The staff was very shorthanded, but really worked hard to keep up with the guests coming into the restaurant. We sat at the bar and Isela was a server. She was professional and attentive. We ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and the Meatball Sandwich and they were both excellent! To quote my husband, "This is the best airport food I've ever had!"

The restaurant is modern, clean, and well-designed. I sat at the bar, ordered a cocktail which came almost instantly and ordered salmon from the full menu. Temperature for the fish was specified as medium-rare to medium at the most. It was 20 minutes before the salmon arrived, and it was overcooked to the point of being dried-out and leathery. I tried one bite, could barely chew it, and the bartender offered to have another salmon filet prepared. I asked for it medium-rare. The second attempt came out 25 minutes later, but not before the manager had to check on it. The manager followed it out of the kitchen and watched as I surveyed the second effort. It was overcooked more than the first filet. I showed her the result, and she immediately picked up the plate and offered a third filet. I suggested that we not waste another fish, and I order a pepporoni pizza, and although it was edible, it was overcooked as well.

Good food, Great atmosphere, excellent cocktails, and wonderful service. We forgot we were in an airport terminal for a while and thought we had started our vacation already. If you are at the international terminal at DFW, you can't beat the Italian Kitchen.

EXCELLENT food and service. We didn’t expect such good food and great service in an airport, but we’re delightfully surprised.

Ate there while going thru the airport. Service was quick and the food came out in about 10 minutes. It was about 2 in the afternoon so they were not too busy. My wife had a salad and it was a very good one with fresh salad greens. An appetizer of sour dough bread and some type of olive spread that was good also. I had a chicken sandwich that was superb. The bacon on it was perfectly cooked and the fries were great. I was not really hungry for Italian but the choice was a good one. Recommended!!

Tranquil decor with good food. Prompt service if you let them know you're on a short connection. The check arrived with the food, nice! The tap water tastes bad however, they should use a filtration system.

A great find here at DFW terminal D. We had Bruschettas and chips in blue cheese and cheese, they were scrumptious and highly recommend. The Margaritas were fab too. Lovely charming staff too, Nothing too much trouble especially when you're travelling with an 8 year old. So accommodating Highly recommend Many thanks to you Tia for looking after us. Highly recommend

About every 90 seconds, our waitress would come by the table to ask us if we wanted to order. When we did order, the food took much longer than expected to be delivered to our table despite only a few people in the restaurant. The food was not warm. Food flavor was marginal.

Situated in the D International terminal, walking around between planes, we found Wolfgang Puck's Italian Kitchen. We had a lovely dinner of Chicken Piccata and Meatballs and Spaghetti. Both were delicious and we were so pleased to have found this. Also, the wine and beer list is very good.

My wife never met a pizza she didn’t love but this one was in the bottom group. The chopped salad was pretty good with a lemon vinegrette dressing. The server, Jay, was poorly trained and had zero personality

I visited on the evening of the 22nd May (around 8pm). I ordered the Rigatoni chicken Alfredo and nothing else which came to $20.57. Initially I was charged that amount on my credit card but a few days later this has changed to $50.57?? Please advise

Had some time between flights. First thing server asked was what my departure time was. Thanks. Nice meal. Good portions. Friendly service. More than was expected from people I'll likely never see again.

We ordered the Club Chicken sandwich, Shrimp Pesto Linguine and amaaazing Butternut squash soup (I dug in too fast to get a picture). It was so nice to relax and avoid the hustle and bustle of the airport. Our awesome waiter, Deon, was very helpful with recommendations on the menu and within the airport and made it a fun experience. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Terminal D of DFW!

Was debating to write this or not but can't get it out of my head so I will. This past Sunday, during our layover, we ate lunch and the pizza and burger were great. However, after asking for the gelato dessert I was served 3 SCOOPS of what tasted and looked like Bryers ice cream. After I asked the waitress if this was Bryers she literally laughed out loud and said it was not Bryers. Then after I pointed out how it was melting and wasn't as creamy as gelato she said it was the warm SCOOPER they used to serve the SCOOPS. I just shook my head and let it be. I just find it poor that they choose to 1) mislead customers about the product they serve 2) when confronted to obviously lie about it. Someone should tell them you don't SCOOP gelato and serve it in with chocolate syrup. Do better Wolfgang Puck DFW.

If you want to find quality meals, you must go to terminal D where you find the chic boutique and the quality restaurants...Great meal here in a relax ambiance and a very friendly staff...you can even enjoy great quality Texas wine. There's a Mcdonald right next to the restaurant...go figure...but they provide free Wi-Fi...If you have time to spend in the airport, go to terminal D...

The food was good but we left with a bad taste in our mouths. The waitress said an hour was plenty of time, but as the wait got longer and longer she kept on saying, " just three more minutes." It seems the clam dishes we ordered take much longer than expected. And when the first dish finally arrived, it was not hot. After some conversation with the manager, we had part of the bill "comped." We seem to be going through Dallas Fort Worth airport with some frequency, but we'll not stop here again.

With time between flights for what I hoped would be a nice relaxed and tasty lunch, I found exactly that at The Italian Kitchen. I was able to pick a larger table so that I would have room to use my computer to check email. (One problem was a weak wifi, but with patience and persistence I was able to get connected for long enough.) Ruth provided excellent wait service. My oven roasted sea bass with broccolini was surprisingly good, and the rose wine Ruth suggested was just right. Bread was fresh and perfect for mopping up the buttery juices from my fish. Tiramisu and a double espresso nicely finished one of the best airport meals I've had.

It is hard to beat the service and options at WP Italian Kitchen. The bartender has always been super nice and helpful. Their wine selection is great. You cannot beat the baby kale and spinach salad to go with the funghi pizza and a glass of Duckhorn sauvignon blanc. I highly recommend you look at it during your next layover

Certainly the most overpriced poor excuse for Italian food we have experienced. Pasta came out hard as a rock. We sent it back- came out hard as a rock again. These people have no idea what they are doing. I doubt Wolfgang Puck has ever been there and probably doesn’t know it exists. Gets his royalty check every month and could give two —-.

Stop by and had a pizza. Yes it was a little expensive but the waitress had excellent customer service. She recommended a great veggie pizza which I loved. There was no rush to leave my seat since I had a 4 hour layover. I wish I got my waitress' name but she was awesome....

My hubs and I had 40 minutes until out flight was to depart, so we decided this was the closest best choice to our gate in Dallas Airport. We ordered the Margherita and Pollo pizzas. They were AMAZING. As a midwesterner, ranch dressing is our staple condiment. This place did not have it, but they didn't need it: the pizza is great solo. I HIGHLY recommend the garlic aioli, which is tart and perfect addition for dipping. The crust was thin and very crispy. All ingredients fresh. My Pollo pizza had crunchy broccoli on it! Nom! The crust was light and airy, crispy. Will return should we come back. I paired with a Malbec. Cheers!

After checking in for our flight we had some time to kill and empty stomachs, we found the Italian Kitchen in Terminal D. The food was delicious, my wife and daughter enjoyed the calamari, Brussel sprouts, asparagus, wedges and pizza. I had the chicken club. The food was hot, tasty and very reasonably priced. Would recommend if you are looking for some good food.

We had an hour before our flight , and I we wanted to try it , it took them 15 mins to acknowledge us , no bread , the water was horrible , my mom ordered soup & salad & ordered a chicken sandwich, then it them 1/2 to finish our food Really I was So upset I told the lady I needed a to go bag & the check , apparently they are short staffed, but Really, untrained staff !!!! I definitely Wouldn't Recommend this restaurant, Even though Wolfgang Pucks name is on I'm so very Disappointed!!!!

Delicious meal and courtesy. Comfortable place to dine in. Staff got friendly approach especially the host girl has unique qualities.

Save your time and money. Portions are very tiny. Additionally, the food lacked flavor and the presentation was weak.

We stopped here between flights. Had very good and quick service. The burgers were top notch as well as the fries. Much better than average for airport or pub food. We'll be back some day. Thank you.

Great place to pass the time while waiting for a flight. Not to often I find myself enjoying a great meal at an airport. Our server Dennis was fantastic. The food was so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this spot to catch a nice meal at DFW.

When you travel a lot, you learn that places with that fancy look in an airport are usually a trap. Well, I've trapped, but I do not blame Wolfgang Puck as I am sure the only thing in this place is the picture in the entrance. Learn it folks... The hostess that was supposed to be hosting guests was busy doing nothing at the back and excusing herself everytime a a customer was seated. I do not care much about it, but I had a hard time to find a menu at the entrance, so I waked in. Even the waitress had a hard time finding a menu. After 10min of 'I will be right with you', I was able to order. Egg plant parmesan and spaghetti. Nothing complex, but it took them 20min. Ordinary pasta and below average entré, which matches the service. I am not a hater... these are just the facts...maybe I am Guilty of bad luck only. ;)

Tried to place a order to go today Monday July 18, and was completely ignored by the employees. Manager even walked by and never acknowledged my presence. The bar tender next to the register did not even say anything either. Worse customer service ever.

Even for overpriced airport food, this is not worth it. My family of four ordered two baby kale & spinach salads ($13 ea.), spaghetti w/ meatballs ($18) and a margherita pizza ($14). The salads were nothing more than two handfuls of spring mix. When my son opened his spaghetti w/meatballs, he immediately looked over to my other son with the margherita and claimed any leftovers, which at that time was half consumed. I'm not one to punish restaurant workers for serving the poor food that they are given to work with. So after taxes and tip, it was the worst $70 meal we have ever had. We chalked it up to a learned lesson.

Flew into Dallas on my way to Florida, and I really wanted have barbecue. However it dawned on me that all the barbecue food is brought in. So I decided to try Italian food, and boy am I glad I did. 4 airport food, this restaurant is really very good to excellent. I have the Italian style sea bass, and it was definitely exclamation. The broccolini was also very good, and you have your choice of sides also. The price point is very good for the quality of food served, and my waitress, Heidi, was also very very accommodating. Well, if you have an hour to kill and wanted really good lunch at a very good price, try Wolfgang Puck's in Terminal D

Located in the International Terminal D, by gates 33-34 at Dallas Fort Worth airport. This was our first time to this terminal which has 18 dining options. Acclaimed chef Wolfgang Puck newest concept in casual dining in an airport. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a wide selection of items from salads, sandwiches and pizza. They serve alcohol and have a full bar. We choose a margherita pizza which was about 12 inches, thin crust and very tasty with a seasoning, I didn't recognize, that added to its flavor. While waiting we were offered freshly made potato chips which were very good. My wife had the ginger tasting iced tea and still speaks how good it was. Service was quick and the restaurant has a pleasant environment. This is an airport restaurant so pricing, I thought, was a little more than a typical Italian kitchen.

Husband and I had a couple of hours to wait between flights and wanted something more than a coffee shop snack. This was just the ticket. We split a mushroom pizza and I had my last holiday cocktail before heading home. Friendly and efficient service, tasty pizza 🍕.

I picked up from Puck to take aboard the plane. My muffin was pretty good, though expensive. The setting is pleasant, and with more time I would have eaten there.

Super hospitality, efficient fast service, loved the breakfast. My egg white omelette was perfecto. Love it.

I stopped in about 900am for breakfast. The restaurant was not busy. The omelette was cold and the coffee not much better. The waitstaff did the best with what they had available.

We stopped to eat on a layover and could not have been more pleased. My wife had the chicken Alfredo and I has the Penne Bolognese they were superb. The sauces on both were fantastic my red sauce was fresh tomatoes based and the cream on the Alfredo was the best we’ve ever had.ended with the best Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Price was reasonable service perfect.

The fresh-baked sourdough bread & olive tapanade was good. Linguini with Clams $22 ~ pasta was rather dry & needed clam juice or a light sauce. Clams were chewy & their flavor was overpowered by the hot spice. Atmosphere was okay & the Service was good. I was not particularly impressed.

While passing through DFW, I enjoyed a very nice lunch at this restaurant. My server was fantastic. Very nice and prompt with both my order and making sure I enjoyed my food. I had a pizza and it is definitely large enough for 2 people to share, I ate less than half of it. It was very good.

We sat down with over 40 minutes between flights and despite repeated requests for our food it didn't come in time. We asked them to prepare it to go and they never brought it out. We asked for a manager and he never came. For a restaurant in an airport this total lack of service is totally unacceptable!

Wow. Wolfgang remind me not come into your restaurant that remains “unbussed” even after a cordial request to your milenial-esk bartender. I ordered my drink at the bar around 7:00pm and asked the bar tender if she could have the parallel island bar where I wanted to sit cleaned. She looked at me if I was from mars perhaps because I was thirty years senior , have grey hair and and am thereby not part of the milenials who hate authority. She barked back at me and replied....”we will buss it if we get around to it”! Oouch!!! What the Puck, Wolfgang! On my departure almost 45 minutes later I watched the newcomer taking my seat yet again push the Unbussed” garbage down yet again. I called the manager up and while she was aghast at my comments restaurant 101 should have been obvious. Make it friendly and spotless! Mr Puck your service and employee attitude rhymes with your name. Hint: the first letter starts with an S!!! Dfw passengers don’t stop Wolfgang pucks. The only thing that is frosty is the bartenders attitude and opinion of cleanliness. Have a beer elsewhere...

Have been to the Italian Kitchen for lunch but this was the first time for Breakfast. The omelet was excellent. Service was good too.

Located inside Terminal D at DFW, this place looks good, classy, contemporary and a good choice if you don’t want fast food. When we went, the place was pretty empty. We were seated right away and our order was put in rather fast. Our drinks came quick and then we just sat. We were seated rIght across from where the food was made so we could see everything that was happening. I ordered an apple and walnut salad with chicken and my partner got a pesto linguini. We saw the salad be prepared and put on the counter and just sit there. 20 minutes later when the pasta was ready, the server, as friendly as she was, brought the food to us. Food was tasty, but if it took 20 minutes to get it when the restaurant was empty, I’d hate to be there when it is full. At one point, I saw a different salad be prepared and delivered faster than mine. Oh! I had a total of maybe 3 walnuts and 6 very thinly sliced pieces of apple. Maybe I was expecting more since we’ve been to a couple of Wolfgang Puck’'s restaurants in Las Vegas, I don’t know.

My wife and I travel quite a bit and find it challenging to have a good meal at a reasonable price in the airport. This restaurant is simply the best menu, best food, best wine list, and best service we’ve encountered in many trips through various airports throughout the world. As you might expect from a Wolfgang Puck property, the menu was outstanding and the food we enjoyed was spectacular. The wine list was amazing. The really surprising thing was the value. The prices were very reasonable and on par with other airport food, maybe even a bit less. If we make it through DFW again, we will go out of our way to this wonderful restaurant, located in D terminal, very close to the Skylink train station.

After a delayed international flight and a missed domestic connection, we found this restaurant and ordered a margarita pizza and a couple of glasses of wine. All were delicious, service was very attentive, which says a lot considering that we arrived 15 minutes before closing time. Would come here again.

Had a great meal and the staff were fantastic. Waiter was very attentive. I had quite a bit of time for my connecting flight so I enjoyed a very tasty meal at a leisurely pace. Food quality and preparation wee very good!

While in transit I opted to eat here. The service was very friendly. Was sat near the bar area on high stool/tables that some could have a problem getting into (the tables do move so I moved it to get into the seating) Not really a great amount of space to put your bags which could be a problem if you are traveling with others.Ordered the margarita pizza. Really nice, I didn't have to wait too long and you could see the pizza kitchen from where I was seated. The base was good and it was filling. I am alway cautious about what I eat before a 16 hour flight and this meal was perfect. Definitely will go back next time in an transiting at Dallas airport.

We had two delicious salads with Salmon. One was Arugula & Fennel with salmon. The second salad was Kale & Spinach with salmon. Both were equally good!

I ordered a Margherita pizza and then I waited. First the host informed me that the kitchen made a mistake so I needed to wait another 8 minutes for the pizza. When they finally served it, I was not impressed by the 6 little specks of basil on the pizza. I ate one slice and realized the pizza was glistening with grease. When I told the server, she said she will get me some napkins. I then told the host I was not happy with the food and left. I expected so much more from a Wolfgang Puck restaurant.

Went here before a flight. Service was quick and food tasted good. Price ok for an airport. Would visit again.

I do not have high expectations for airport food and have rarely been surprised, at least in the US. The Italian Kitchen is no exception. Food was OK. Service however is another thing. You are in an airport and the service should always be top notch. Not at this location. Sluggish and apathetic. I had the meatball sandwich and it was tasty enough, just nothing to write to the relatives in Roma about. Prices what you would expect for airport food. $11-13.00 for a sandwich is not overpriced as far as I am concerned. Seating was a bit cramped at the high tables with little room to park your bags, especially if two people. Probably not high on my list of places to return to at DFW, but there are not a lot of good choices.

I was starving after an all-night flight from Hawaii and had several hours before departing. I scoped out the possibilities and chose The the Italian Kitchen because the booths and atmosphere looked comfortable. The server was attentive and apologetic because 1) the omelette cook was off buying produce so no omelettes were available and 2) hash browns also were not available so she ended up substituting fruit (which was a lovely assortment of melon and berries), and 3) the bacon was burnt on the edges. So I ended up with scrambled eggs, burnt bacon and fruit, and toast with grape jam in those little packets, for $20 before tip. I expected much more from Wolfgang Puck...how about a lovely spinach quiche? served with a croissant and a little pot of marmelade? For that I'd pay $20. Frankly, I've had better breakfasts at Panera's and much cheaper. The fruit was very good and the waitress put it in a container so I could eat it later, which was helpful, though not out of the ordinary.

Great idea but some growing pains. The TO Go desk only lists a partial menu when in fact the entire menu is avbl. Crucial for travelers tight for time. I ordered Tuscan Minestrone to go. Waited. For my order and left. When I got to my gate (thankfully close by) I opened my soup to find ZERO beans. Went back. After they consulted the ingredient list they saw that beans are indeed supposed to be there. After a quick wait they gave me a small bowl of white beans and I was on my way. I travel for a living so I may wait a month or so before I try here again.

While in DFW airport today, we topped at this restaurant. We ordered appetizers and a main meal. Both were excellent. No kidding - but the food was as good as a non-airport restaurant. Probably the best airport meal ever. The bartender made a wonderful drink for me that most cannot make. And, the service from those that seated us to our waiter, Marcus, was excellent. We were there about 3 pm on 12/15. Thank you for a wonderful meal in an airport, no less :). Sjj, Nevada

The overall experience at the Italian kitchen was a good one, service was very prompt always aware of time left to board, etc. The food however was seriously spicy, so much so that I had to send it back (eggplant parmigiana), had a pizza instead which was good. I recommend this option if you want something nicer to eat at the airport.

The Chef stepped up,said she had prepared penne pasta for the staffs lunch, and it would be no problem to serve with bolanaise sauce. It was so delicious. Much like an italian tomato beef ragout. She came out and inquired how was it? It was fabulous. The sous chef came by as Well. Very reasonable at $20.00. Iworked with the Wolfgang Puck franchise at the St.Louis Art Museum in the past. My layover was incredible. Your staff was over the top. I will tell everyone I know of the quality of my experience. Thank you. So very much.wonderful place. 🍝 This visit was at 1:00pm on Nov.30th,2021 Harry Fleming

I had the minestrone soup, pretty good... bottled stella at the perfect temperature and finalized with Linguinni Frutti di Mari which was fantastic... very spicy but tasty, well cooked and plenty of fresh sea food... great meal! Everything with careful and kind service!

We were exited to try this restaurant since it is related to recognized Wolfgang Puck. We order two appetizers and neither of them were available (bruschetta and calamari) then we order Gorgonzola chopped salad with salmon and couple of minutes later the waitress came to let us know that the grill was not working and salmón was. Ot possible. We order shrimps instead. We were surprise when the waitress brought the salad: lettuce, little tinny pieces of Gorgonzola and three shrimps. We pay 22 dollars for lettuce, bacon bits and three shrimps. Next time definitely we will go to another restaurant. Maybe Macdonald’s or Chick-fill-A will be a better option.

The worst Italian food I ever had ... even for an airport .. expensive , greasy and flavorless .. I much better should have spent those $USD 36 in fast food and a good book to read during my flight :(

I ordered the shrimp linguine. My wife ordered the chicken Alfredo. The linguine was good, but a little runny and over sauced. The pena pasta in the Alfredo was gluey. Without a salad or bread or anything else, this left us both wanting more.... Just not from here. Fortunately, there was a McDonald's across the way. Sad to say, it was tastier and about a 5th the cost.

Restaurant was slow. Many open seats. No one at hostess stand but us and we had to wait for 10 minutes to be seated. After seated still waited a while to speak to a server. She was slow. Once she came we placed our entire order at once, drinks and food. After we watched the folks next to us come in 10 minutes after us get immediate service. After they were eating, our server returned to tell us the sides we ordered were unavailable. After we changed to other sides she returned to tell us our original sides were now available. Before our order was ready the folks next to us had eaten and were paying. Finally we got our order and the sides were cold. Main entrees were very tasty. Eggplant Parmigiana and 1/2 chicken were both very good.

This new(ish) addition to DFW's D Terminal is a total gem. The wait staff is lovely - helpful but not overbearing. The food is very good, as is the wine selection. The Caprese Salad was truly the best one I've ever had. I added grilled shrimp to it - perfect. I had a loooooong delay to wait for my flight and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable like some places can make you feel, especially as a solo traveler. I will 100% visit again next time I'm at DFW.

Granted, the restaurant is in an airport - but the service was "eh" ok and the quality of food was not what I was paying for. I ordered the Caprese Salad & Calamari. The server asked me if I wanted both dishes at the same time or first come, first serve. I opted for the latter. The calamari arrived first, which surprised me - I later overheard the waitstaff say that what was sent to my table was meant for someone else. The calamari itself was salty, not only calamari either, there was fried cauliflower, green beans and other items which I couldn't figure out (slices of banana?) The red sauce was too spicy, the calamari didn't come with a lemon slice either. The caprese salad finally arrived and the tomatoes were firm; as in they need at least 3 more days to soften and the mozzerella cheese was not a good quality product; it was firm and required a knife to cut. There was no balsamic or oil on top, 1 or 2 small pieces of basil. Overall, while I know this restaurant is at an airport - when paying $15 each and sitting down during layover, at a place known for good food - you want good food. Across the way was III Forks; I probably should have gone there.

I was happy to see that Wolfgang Puck had a restaurant in the D terminal at the Dallas airport and figured my husband and I would share a pizza. We were seated -- actually had to move where we were seated because the booth banquette was so low and the table so high. Then my seat in the middle of the dining room was right under an air vent so I had to move again. OK, I still figured we would have a good lunch. We looked at the various options and thought a Margarita pizza would be good just because the various combinations didn't seem quite right -- Parmesan on on pizza instead of Mozzarella. But I'm writing to tell you that it was possibly the plainest, worst pizza I've ever had. I'm pretty sure the sauce came straight out of a Hunt tomato sauce can. The crust also had zero flavor. Poor instead of terrible just because our waiter was attentive and the hostess was also nice. The restaurant is also attractive. But we would have been better off eating elsewhere because the food was such a disappointment.

With a quick layover in Dallas, we were looking for something to eat. This restaurant deserves far more than 3 1/2 “stars”. Marcus, our waiter was lovely. He immediately ask how long before our flight and reassured us that 45 minutes was plenty of time to dine. We had two glasses of wine, Apollo Pizza and Marco even suggested a small Caesar salad, which was perfect. Everything was delicious!!! It felt like we were in a stand alone restaurant, not the airport, and we were in and out quickly.

Carly the server was attentive. However, her drink pours were very short. To the point where several people questioned it, including me. My martini was only half full. For $16 a martini, it is a foul. Additionally, the wine by the glass is outrageous. (La Crema $24/9oz) There are fruit flies flying around everywhere, which is nasty and indicative of a dirty bar. The food is meh, nothing special about it. Bottom line, not worth the additional expense on top of already high airport prices, just for a name like Wolfgang.

I picked up a Caprese Sanwich on the way to my flight and the entire sandwich- both sides had only 2 very thin slices of mozzarella and 2 very thin slices of tomato. It was mostly bread. The little dessert bar I got tasted old. Shame on them.

Five of us stopped here for a quick lunch before our flight. The restaurant wasn't busy at 11:30 am and the hostess turned out to be our server. She was very efficient and we had our orders quickly. The pizzas and sandwiches turned out to be larger than we expected so she brought us boxes to take on the plane. Prices were reasonable for an airport. Recommended if you are hungry, in a hurry, but want something a step up from MacDonald's.

The margarita pizza I had was pretty bland. The bread they provided was soggy. The service was good and the food came out in a fair amount of time. I'd look for something else next time.

you think if a chef puts his name on a restaurant then food should be pretty good maybe wolfgang puck should visit this disaster of a restaurant the sheese pizza was on the level of a frozen pie and no taste what so ever and for good ness sake get rid of the crispy calamari that is an insult to food it was terrible then the glass of water still had pink lipstick on the rim from a previous customer DIRTY GLASS WARE come on this is not acceptable VERY DISAPPOINTED

We had a party of 5 and all ordered standard breakfast items. Omelets or eggs with potatoes, bacon and toast. Our server was nice and friendly. The part that impacted this visit was after we ordered it took them over 30 minutes to bring our food. The restaurant wasn’t busy, they are in an airport and the restaurants we’ve eaten at, the food comes out pretty quick (thank goodness we had some time.) To top that off someone in our groups food didn’t come out with ours. The server said they had to make it. By the time the rest of us finished our food their dish(an omelette) still wasn’t out. We canceled that order and by the time he brought us our checks someone had gone to McDonalds across the way, came back and started eating. The food was really good but it wasn’t worth the price and wait.

The breakfast menu is fairly limited with few gluten free options...but the food came out fairly promptly, and it was not overly expensive. I ordered potatoes and bacon side dishes as possible gluten free options. There were 4 strips of bacon and an huge bowl of potatoes.

I was quickly seated. Once seated, it was too long before a server came to my table and there was only a few tables of people on the place. I ordered. Waiting for my order I glanced around and saw that the 5 decorative light fixtures hanging from the ceiling were dirty and bulbs burned out in them. I waited too long for my food. I found it annoying that what I think was one cook shouting out to the servers when she would have food ready for pick up by them. There is no reason why the servers can’t see there is food up ready to be served. I don’t need to head the cook shouting while I am having breakfast. My Eggs that I ordered over medium were cooked hard. I would of returned them had a server checked with me after my order came to be sure all was prepared right. I ordered crispy bacon and it was very greasy and instead of long pieces of bacon, looked like scraps of bacon. So, I can’t give this place mite than an average rating and this is being generous.

The food was good, but the service was definitely not. First, the wait staff seemed surprised that our order had not arrived after a pretty long wait. Next, our server never checked on us after the order was finally delivered in spite of the fact that we were having breakfast and our coffee cups sat empty and unfilled. This despite the fact that the restaurant was not very busy and several staff appeared to be standing around. I may be wrong, but this poor service seems to be due to management -- poor training and/or lack of oversight.

Stopped here for lunch before a flight. Had to wait to be seated as it was very popular, always a good sign. Once seated the service was good and food arrived quickly. Tasted good.

I had a several hour lay-over at DFW airport, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. For an airport restaurant, I was surprised. My veggie lasagna was to die for delish! To top it off, the wait staff was excellent. Yes, this was a bit pricier than I was going for, but I am so glad I did. I was able to eat in a serene environment and relax before getting on another horribly cramped American Airline jet. Thank you Wolfgang!

Given this location in DFW airport international terminal I expected a better meal since there are so many local name brand restaurants to choose from. This was average at best, I guarantee Wolfgang Puck hasn't eaten here! My appetizer and entree arrived at the same time, a definite no-no in my opinion. The ravioli were drowning, not swimming in tomato sauce, hardly Italian style! Same thing for the meatballs alforno, way way too much sauce. The chef needs to visit Italy, this is very far from Italian food! Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other restaurants in this terminal. Very poor wine selection as well. Not one I will return to!

The pizza was good and reasonably priced. They also had several local craft beers available. Service was good

I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant on Monday, November 4th, while waiting to hear when my delayed flight would depart. I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Linguini, cherry tomatoes, white wine, parmesan. It was amazing! I also had a glass of great rosé wine. It was the best meal I've ever had in an airport. I am hoping I can make this dish at home. If I ever have the chance to eat here again when I am flying out of DFW, I will! My server was also very attentive and checked on me often.

Absolutely overrated. The waitress tries hard, but there seems to be her alone, and the place is pretty full. I know airports are not supposed to be having the top places for dinner, but this is just ridiculous. I had a fungi pizza which was good; however really overpriced for size -and quality, even when you factor in the airport effect that tends to inflate prices. I asked for a chocolate cake and, by the time I got it, Ibwas almost hungry again... Thank God I had time for my flight. Next time at DFW I will try any other place. TGI Friday’s is usually a sure bet...
I will never eat there again
The employees don't wear gloves don't wear hair nets always using bad mouth food is not so good sometimes the food would be spoiled and rotten
