Food was really good, unlike the Yelp eliters we went as ordinary paying customers. The food was good, very tasty - not huge portions by any means, just perfect for lunch. The $40 tab for two kebabs, two fries and two bottles of water was unexpected though, for what we had I would have thought $25 was more the speed. We will go back, just ouch at the price tag for a simple lunch.

Kebab shop is the place to be. Fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. Abdel was very friendly and he made the restaurant feel like he was inviting us into his home. Couldn’t be happier with our experience and you should come! No really, come!

The Kebob Shop had very good food and quick service. They also served generous portions. If you want a quick Mediterranean meal, do stop here!

First time trying this place. Food was great and Mike was very helpful with ordering. My husband had a beef & lamb wrap (loved the wrap) and I had a beef & lamb salad/bowl. Loved the original garlic yogurt and the jalapeño-cilantro sauces! We will be back!

We tossed around several places for a light dinner and ultimately chose the Kebab Shop. Excellent choice. Host helped us with our menu choices. We waited about 10 minutes for our food...Sliced Lamb Plate and Chicken Kebab Plate. Both were large portions...rice, salad. We also ordered Peta and Spicy Humas...wow!! Great food and really good value. Clean and comfortable environment. Robust takeout.

I got to try this place out because of a Yelp Elite Perks! So glad that I did otherwise I may have missed it. My wrap was free but my hubby paid for his chicken box so my review would be more about the overall experience and taste of the food. I shared on the Elite page how I loved the overall experience because free food just tastes better but I actually really enjoyed the entire experience. We got there just in time before a line formed. The girl working the counter was super friendly and nice. She was helpful as we tried to decipher the menu for the 1st time. I got the lamb beef wrap for free with saffron rice inside because of the perk. She let me try that because i usually would get lamb at other gyro wrap places. She kept telling me to get fries as my free add on but I am picky about that from prior experiences because I need my fries crispy and tend to like them on the side. My hubby paid for the box chicken and fries. So we intended to share. I didn't know how big my wrap would be because other places I still go home hungry if it's just a wrap without chips or a side. But this wrap is huge! Check out my pictures. Its not the angle lol Longest wrap I've seen! I really enjoyed it. Tasty. Fresh. I loved the pickled onions in it that I chose. Ingredients were fresh. The sauces were fun and spicy was spicy. But I kept on eating with it. I couldn't finish my wrap lol I tasted his fries and fell in love. So crispy! We love San Diego too so knowing they are from there was an extra plus. No wonder they won best fries from there. You can tell by the fresh crispness. The chicken was pretty tasty. Had hint of curry. May like that better than my beef and lamb. Next time for sure will get chicken. It's $9 for that but an extra $1 for lamb and beef. So kinda steep if they don't give you that much. But because I got a free wrap and they were gracious enough to give him a free tortilla to go with his box it was well worth. And not sure if it's because I went as an Elite but the portions are worth the price if that's the case. I like the place. We used to go to Fresh Choice here when it was open. I liked how open and airy it was. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars and I am really picky on my 5 star places because it has to be stellar, is the restroom. It wasn't clean and it smelled from where the drinks station was. That's a star off for me. But food-wise I loved it and most likely will be back. I see that my star rewards spit out a $5 coupon so I intend to use it. Plus I shared it all over IG and food IG account and my friends and followers all wanna try it now lol Hoping for another fun experience. We wish this business well!

Loved this new kebab place that opened in the arboretum. Food was super good and great price. Place was super comfortable for families and clean. Staff was great
Great food, great atmosphere
Wife and I were visiting Austin and I wanted to introduce her to Shawarma. A nice walk downtown leads us to The Kabob Shop. Great atmosphere, clean and inviting. The person at the counter gave us a few minutes to decided far we wanted and even pointed out the simple menu to decide what we wanted and how we wanted our food. I ordered the traditional shawarma with fries and my wife ordered a bowl. Both were excellent, the fries still had crispness and it was a perfect temperature. The serving sizes were generous. They have a sauce area with 3 great options. The red and green sauces added that extra bite. My wife said she would absolutely recommend this place, as would I.
